 Helix Crust appears as an average namekian. He is a somewhat tall masculine type, without any facial discolorations, and typical green antenna. He has black eyes, a heavy brow, and large, pointed ears like most namekians. He wears loose, cheap clothes that are somewhat drab in color. His entire body is skinny, but not frail looking. He bears the symbol of his religion, the holy stoke, a symbol which was miraculously engraved into his forehead. He wears shoulder plates and a whitish scarf. At his sides at all times is a wooden staff with a small tealish gem structure at the tip. In spite of his somewhat advanced age for a namekian, he appears young, as if merely 40 years old. All of his skin has been permanently darkened by the fire he endured, but has been remedied slightly by his fusion with Xirula.
A dark skinned, fin headed namekian kneels over, clenching with agony as he splits in half. Where once was one being, there now were two. A demon, and a child as pure as gold...
One, a breath of warm wind, the other, a crystal glass filled with blood.
Helix Crust was not born like other Namekians. Helix was birthed in a special scenario, a situation that some may even dare to call a miracle. He was not born from the mouth of a parent, but simply appeared in the center of a namekian village in the middle of the night as an egg. Three nights prior to his appearance, the citizens of Moori Village all shared a vision, a vision of a new light that would save namekian kind. The miraculous appearance of the egg lead the highly religious villagers to believe that the new namekian was born from their god, Porunga. All of the villagers were known to be in bed during the night, the egg couldn't have come from any of them, and the child's features didn't line up with any of the villager namekians. News rapidly spread of this miraculous child, and soon elders from across namek congregated in the village, bearing gifts for the infant young namekian. The child was named Helix, after a small spiral shaped indentation in his mysterious egg. The three most prestigious elders came to the village, each one giving a single gift. The freshest water, tomes of knowledge, and namekian incense were all presented to the child. The villagers decided to raise the young one together, keeping him pure.
As a teenager, Helix was a member of the dragon clan: a group of Namekians known for their religious and mystical knowledge. He was a humble boy, incredibly popular among the townspeople, and took up the line of work his village was primarily involved in, carpentry. One day, an elder Namekian, who had heard the praise that many spoke of Helix, called for him to be brought to his hut. The elder told him that he was the son of Porunga, their god, and a messiah that the dragon clan had been waiting for for thousands of years. The elder baptized him with the purest holy water of the Namekian oceans, unlocking his potential. Helix knew he was prophesied of by Porunga, but did not know that the blessed god was his father. With this knowledge, Helix went on his way. He went to the farthest island he could find and meditated for 40 days and 40 nights, to deepen his bond with Porunga. In this period of meditation, he neither drank nor ate. He cast off the influence of darkness, and embraced the presence of Porunga, realizing his responsibility as the son of the dragon-god. Porunga first spoke to his son in this time, and he told him all of the secrets of the universe in an ancient language which the namekian could not translate, nor put into words. He bestowed upon his son ultimate knowledge of good and evil. And with this knowledge Helix deepened the divide between his righteousness and sinfulness, eventually casting off the darkness within him and splitting into two. Helix's wicked half fled into the wilderness as the purified namekian was locked in a state of meditation.
When Helix returned, he began to preach.
He preached of the new faith, of direct worship of Porunga, of a higher respect for the dragon balls, of enhancing the goodness in one's heart. However, the villainous demon namekians had recently been using the dragon balls more and more often, and did not like the interference of young Helix. But Helix was not phased. He continued to preach about the new faith, and gained twelve promising dragon clan scholars behind him, who became his disciples. He and his disciples continued to spread the word of their lord, performing miracles of healing across the land. They advocated against the abuse of the dragon balls, and the dark forces lingering at the edges of mainstream namekian society. Helix never claimed himself as divinity, but all of his disciplines knew that he was the son of god, and spread the knowledge far and wide that it was true. Eventually however, the backlash Helix's preaching had generated became too much for the demon nameks. And yet, even as he did so, he foresaw that the end of his life was nearing.
The Namekian, now twenty years old, was being hunted down by the warriors of the demon namekians. The disciples stayed constantly on the run, moving from village to village preaching but always cautiously. However, one fateful occurrence sealed Helix's fate. One of the messiah's closest disciples and friends sold out his location to the demon namekians, and the vicious warriors soon tracked down the group. They viciously attacked and pillaged the camp in which Helix was staying. However, the enlightened namekian knew what he had to do. He accepted his doom with incredible sturdiness and tranquility, and allowed the oppressive members of the demon caste to subjugate him by sacrificing himself in order to allow his disciples to escape.
Helix was tied to a post, covered in oil, and lit aflame. He burned for 6 hours in excruciating pain, before he died and thrown into a river. It is said that as he burned, he sobbed quietly, not making a single sound, his tears evaporating as fast as they emerged from his eyelids. Namekians from across the hemisphere gathered and watched. Most say that Helix knew of his fate, and died to repent for the sins of Namek-kind. Others would report otherwise, citing claims of some supposed attendees at the burning, whom reported hearing him utter the words, "Father, why hath thou forsaken me?"
This event would be known to his disciples and followers as the stoke. His burnt corpse was confirmed to be ravaged beyond the point of regeneration, and he was tossed into the rapids, his charred body to be torn to shreds by the sharp stones. The demon clan namekians had gone into hiding after openly desecrating a beloved public figure. His disciples mourned heavily. But on the third day after Helix was killed, he rose from the dead and returned to his sobbing disciples. Shock rippled throughout Namek as news spread. The formerly elegant namekian was covered in brown bandages. His face was charred and bony, and his body was shredded with the wrath of the flames. But he had risen again, he had come back from the dead. On his forehead was a holy marking, a representation of the fires he had survived through, miraculously etched into his skull. The mark became known as the Holy Stoke, and his disciples used it as a symbol for Porunganism. Helix created a unified cult of Namek, teaching his many followers proper respect for Porunga, and teaching them about their spiritual identities. After unifying a significant minority of Namek, Helix knew he had to go ascend, because of the wise words of his father.
And so he told his disciples that he would leave, and one day he would return again. His father had told him in the afterlife of another planet, on which a lesser god, a servant of porunga, lived. Earth. His father told him to go, and to preach to the earthlings about the necessity of stopping the misuse and bloodshed in the name of the dragon balls, and of properly having faith in the dragons. Helix was to go to earth and unify the world's decadent religions into the one true faith of Porunganismn. And so Helix went, on his journey to earth. Porunga knew that Namek was to be destroyed, but did not tell his son of this. He knew that Helix would restore balance on earth and enlist the help of his brother to bring back namek. And so Helix left namek, telling his disciples and followers across the planet that he would one day return.
Alas, his followers awaited the return of Helix Crust until the destruction of Namek. Ironically, the demise of the majority of their race was committed by one of the members of the very planet that Helix had set out to.

Helix can teleport himself and those he is in physical contact with great distances. Outside of combat this is his primary means of travel. When teleporting, his power level can be sensed moments before he appears (due to it not being an instant warp) making it hard to use it as an ambush technique. The move grants him an easy way to travel but he cannot blink to other planets. Helix glows or becomes blurred slightly for a moment and then disappears, before reappearing.

Helix has the ability to perform miracles, and he often does so, helping all that require assistance with his powerful healing abilities; he is able to bring people to miraculous recoveries. He performs miracles by generating pink energy in his antenna and then releasing it.

Helix can identify the soul of a person, and sense their ki by listening to the strength of their life energy.

Helix is capable of connecting inner souls with others through mystic psychic power. When utilizing his psychic abilities, his forehead marking glows white. He is capable of conversing mentally as well as sharing thoughts and transferring memories, if participants consent.

This weakens or negates their attack. If the target consents OOC, Helix will understand the source of aggression that caused them to launch the attack, and know their feelings towards the target.

Helix forces his suffocating mystic presence on a target with a snap of his fingers and a white flash of his head marking. If the attack would knock out the opponent and they do not attempt to resist via willpower or moving out of range, they instantly fall asleep painlessly; otherwise, it has no effect. If the target consents OOC, Helix will be able to extract information telepathically when the opponent is hit by the attack.

By psychically entering the mind of his opponent, Helix's eyes glow white as he is possessed by their energy and becomes capable of perfectly mimicking the battle technique they are charging, in self defense. He then launches the technique at the exact same time as his opponent, causing a collision, hopefully counteracting the attack and causing an equilibrium. Damaging barrier variant, 33% charge.

Transformations:Nai Incarnate [x7] After fusing with Grand Elder Guru Nai, Helix has gained the ability to age himself hundreds of years into the future with Nai's mystic energy, causing him to take on the same overweight elder namekian form that the grand elder possessed. With the age comes incredible dragon caste mystic potential. |
