Lately, the young Warrior, Rhytid, had been contemplating his decisions more and more. Having joined Helix's underground 'rebellion' known as the Porungian Sentinels, and flat-out announcing that he would be the next leader of the Warrior Clan...It was a huge change to swallow, even for Rhytid. The Namekian had lived his entire life feeling as if he was another brick in the wall. No better than the next Namekian to pass by, no better than the ones that came before him. Just another average fish in the pond, not destined for anything besides the cards he had been dealt at birth. The card he had been dealt was blank, safe for a single word written on it with bolded letters.
''WEAK''
He knew it himself, realized it better than anyone else thought they had. Often made out to be a fool for taking his training so seriously, even when he made no progress whatsoever. The powerful Warrior thrived in combat, fought and died in protection of their beloved planet. But not Rhytid...All he could do was stand on the sidelines, and watch as Namek was tortured time and time again. The Namekian was sick of it, never again did he want to be a mere spectator. He wanted to prove himself, and grow as strong as the leaders that died for his Caste throughout the ages. For both his own good, as well as Namek's. With his recent actions, he wanted to remove his weakness once and for all...But could he really do it?
Was he really able to lead his Caste? Was he REALLY able to protect Namek?
No, not by himself...But maybe he could. All he needed was some help. ''Here goes nothing...'' Rhytid breathed out, stepping foot inside of the Grand Elder Village. He was wrapped in weighted clothing that resembled the Warrior Caste, his strained movements catching curious looks from various Namekians that belonged to the Dragon Caste. The Warrior came here for a simple reason: To grow stronger. Rhytid had begun to realize that he couldn't do it by himself, and training in solitude would yield little to no rewards. He had heard stories about the Grand Elder, the Guru, being able of many amazing mystical feats. His wisdom knew no bounds, and rumors were often carried by the wind that the Guru was able to unlock someone's inner potential, bringing forth their hidden strength in the blink of an eye.
He didn't know if these stories were true, but they did give Rhytid an idea. With the Guru's endless wisdom, he could surely help Rhytid improve in his training, right? At least, that is what he hoped, and the exact reason he came to his village in the first place.
''Hope to Porunga that he's home...Don't want to have came all this way for nothing.'' The Namekian muttered as he made his way to the Guru's house, which stood atop the Grand Elder village like a beacon of hope, and wisdom. No one was infront of the palace to meet him this time around, just the door which continued to stare at him. Why did he feel slightly nervous? He had already met with Helix once before, and he was the kindest person you could meet...
...Then again, Rhytid didn't know what to expect when he'd ask him for training. It DID sound somewhat selfish...
''Just knock on the freaking door already.'' He mentally slapped himself, giving himself a fierce nod as he stepped up. Clearing his throat, he lifted an arm and began knocking on the (wooden?) door. ''Guru Helix, are you home? It's me, Rhytid!'' He announced, eyes gazing up toward the 2nd floor of the building.
Rhytid breathed out, eagerly awaiting the Guru's response...

Never again would Helix have to look out a dirty window! The guru now precariously balanced on the edge of the palace, washcloth in hand as he teetered, hanging out of the open window and attempting to reach around under it to clean the outside. He was sick of all the dust and dirt building up on the brilliant blue orbs, and decided that it was time to do something about it. So, while his morning tea was brewing, he now hung out his window putting in some elbow grease for home matenence. Of course, one of the attendants that the village regularly sent up could've done it, and probably done it much more efficiently, but there was something still satisfying to the guru about solving his own issues in his own way. And so there he was, half of his body out the window, working up quite the sweat. His eyes narrowed with focus as his ears attuned to the serene air high in the namekian atmosphere. For a minute, he almost lost himself in a trance of circular scrubbing, until— "O-OH PORUNGA!" Helix didn't realize what was happening until he was already falling halfway down the building! Some sort of knocking sound had broken his trance and caused him to lose his balance. The guru slid down the side of the not-too-tall palace and eventually crash landed in the bushes, with a loud rustle and a yelp. For a while, the old guru just sat there in the bushes. And then, his head would poke up from the shrubbery, red with embarrassment. "W-Who's there?" The guru would laugh awkwardly, before activating his soul sense and immediately recognizing his visitor. The prophet would pop out of the bushes like a weasel, quickly brushing himself off with relief and striding over towards the spry warrior caste. "Oh, Rhytid!" Helix chimed with a grin, "Quite a pleasure to see you. And thank Porunga it is you! I thought for sure I had just made a scene in front of some stuffy old scholar!"The guru chuckled sheepishly. "Not to say I have anything against stuffy old scholars— I happen to be one!"PL: 7,000 [Dojo]

Rhytid awkwardly glanced around for a small moment after calling out, waiting for some sort of response. He began to wonder if he had even heard his knocking, and raised his arm to once more knock on the door, yet then, suddenly...
A loud yelp, followed by a thud, caught his attention!
Rhytid raised a brow curiously, surprised by the sudden noise. Did...Did he do that? What even happened? The Warrior clansman hummed awkwardly, stepping to the side of Helix's house and inspecting a bush next to it, rustling with life! The Guru's head popped out like a mole at a whack-a-mole machine, wearing the same lighthearted, goofy smile he wore the last time they met.
The Namekian couldn't help but snicker, and then start laughing at the Guru's slip-up, gazing up at the open window that he supposedly fell out of. ''Well, gotta be honest, it did look pretty hilarious!'' Rhytid joked. He was nearly concerned that Helix had hurt himself tumbling out of his own window, but he didn't seem hurt in the slightest, so he was probably fine. ''I trust you're doing well?'' The Warrior asked, this time without the whole jokey act. His words held a more genuine air to them.
He remained silent for a light bit, humming to himself as he tapped his chin. He wasn't quite sure how to word his...Request, so he was probably going to sound like an idiot for his next question...
''I...Actually, the reason I came here, Guru Helix...'' Rhytid began, his voice wandering off a bit into an uncertain tone. He removed his hand from his chin, brow lowering with a difficult gaze. ''I came here to ask you something...This might sound cliché, and a bit rude, but...'' He muttered a bit unconfidently. Rhytid simply sighed out, mentally pushing himself to force out his own confidence. He felt like an idiot for being so uncertain and feeling so inferior. Then again, that is exactly what he came here for. Rhytid didn't only need to work on his physical strength, his mental strength could use some work as well.
''I was wondering if you could help me in my training?''

Helix's face blushed red and his antennae twitched with embarrassment as the young warrior caste acknowledged the ridiculousness of his fall. The guru scratched the back of his head and coughed rather officially, trying to play it off and get down to "serious business."
"Yes, I am doing quite well, save my little accident. You see, I was cleaning my windows, as one does, and you know I always have believed that if an issue is important to you and only you, there is no reason to get anybody else to solve it! So I was—" Helix paused, and realigned his train of thought. "Well— Nevermind. What can I do for you, brother?" Helix sighed and let his lungs deflate and refresh.
It seemed that the young warrior caste was a bit bashful about asking him something, and Helix cocked his head to the side slightly in curiosity as he spoke. When his request came out, Helix's lips broke into a wide grin, and then his sharp teeth emerged from his smile. "Well why didn't you just say so!"
The prophet seemed pretty excited to go about training someone. Of course, he had had spiritual disciples in the past— Porunga be with them— But he had never had a warrior caste ask him for some sort of training or guidance. In fact, the request was quite relevant to one of Helix's recent studies. Had Rhytid never asked him about it, Helix would've kept it to himself, but now that the situation had arisen naturally…
"Just a moment, let me go run in and take the kettle off—" Helix's voice trailed off as he quickly paced inside the door, disappearing for a minute or so as he swiftly surmounted his staircase, poured the boiling water out the back window, turned off the burner, and headed back down.
The prophet would emerge seconds later with a smile, and then flinch, eyes widened, as if he remembered another thing he'd forgotten. "Oh— Just a moment!" The scatterbrained guru quickly reentered the palace. He would head right over to his deceptively small library, and then scan his finger across the backs of the many books. Finally, his fingers clutched his prize and slid it forth from the shelf. Depositing old tome under his arm, Helix would appear once more at the front of his palace.
At this point, he just felt bad for not letting the warrior caste in to wait! "Sorry for making you stand here so long," the prophet apologized with a blush, before walking over to the grassy flower patch near the palace and sitting down. He gestured, as if inviting the warrior caste to join him in the grass.
Finally, the prophet would place the old book on the ground between them. It looked like it should have been dusty, and yet it simultaneously appeared as if it had been recently used and cherished.
"Now," Helix began, thumbing through the pages, "Here we are." The book revealed a diagram of what appeared to be the guru village. One half of the diagram was the village down below, and the other half was the sea. Right in the middle, as a dividing line between the land and sea, was the Grand Elder's tower and palace. But Helix's finger landed on a spot below the palace.
Below below the tall tower, there was a strange depiction: what appeared to be a cavern, populated by crystals and strange rocks. "This is something that has been of significant interest of mine lately," Helix began, practically jittering with excitement. "Do you see that cavern? The writings on the following pages describe it as an ancient spiritual training ground for warrior castes: it is said that during times of severe war with mazoku, the dragon caste elders took select warriors down into these crystal catacombs below the village to train. What's more, the cave's crystals are said to project incredible hallucinatory images, and—"
Helix made a shrug. "Well, various other ancient-ruin related things happen in there too. But the point is, it's a training spot for Dragon castes to work with warriors on a spiritual plane!"

The young Warrior Caste sighed out mentally at the Guru's eagerness! That...Certainly was a lot easier than he thought it'd be. He figured the Guru was quite the busy person, but the guy was merely cleaning his windows. Rhytid assumed he always had a lot of ''Super Secret Guru Business'' to attend to, so this came as a surprise. It was a pleasant one, though, it seemed Rhytid came at just the right time!
His face became a bit calmer, a genuine smile forming on his face as he nodded his head in gratitude.
''Yes, ofcourse Guru Helix, thank you so much!'' He let out, watching the eager sage turn around and proceed to head into his home. Rhytid watched the bookworm scurry up the flight of stairs from a distance, awkwardly sighing to himself in relief. He sure as hell was glad to see that Helix was so eager in aiding him in his training, hell, he even seemed more excited about it than he did!
The Guru dipped in and out of sight once more, returning to Rhytid only to scamper off in search of something a moment later. ''Yea, sure-'' aaand there he went again- zoom, off to the races! Rhytid tried to hide a fit of snorty laughter- it was kind of funny to see the Guru zoom around like a kid at an amusement park, and he waited around a bit more until he returned.
Once Helix came back again, he was holding a fairly big, dusty tome that caught Rhytid's attention. What was he planning on doing...? Not asking any questions yet, the Warrior clansman nodded, and joined Helix near the patch of flowers, curiously gazing along as Helix skimmed through the pages.
A map of the Grand Elder village- yet something odd was there too, a cave of some sorts...? ''Y-yes, I do see it...'' Rhytid quickly anwsered distantly, hundreds of questions still lingering inside of his head. Nevertheless, he listened on...
...And the Guru's explanation sparked awe inside of his heart!
''Ancient training ground!?!'' Rhytid parroted in amazement, his eyes wide with shock and awe! The young Warrior could've never even guessed that such a place existed, and it was right under his nose this entire time! ''G-Guru Helix, this...This is amazing!'' He gasped out- the astonished Warrior's face growing into childlike excitement, a big ol' smile on his face!
''I knew I was right in asking you, Guru...I can't believe a place like this has existed all along...!'' Rhytid let out, his widened eyes glancing toward Helix and back to the book. He chuckled eagerly, still quite unable to grasp it entirely. Helix just said that the place was meant for worthy Warrior Caste members- only the best of the best would be allowed to train there in times of danger. The fact that the Guru was willing to take Rhytid there filled him with confidence. To get a chance like this...He...
He felt honored!
''Shall we go and find these caverns, Guru Helix!? I'm practically bursting with excitement!'' Rhytid said with an excited gleam in his eyes. He stood up from the grassy grounds with a hefty groan, the weighted clothing working down on his body intensely. Glancing sideways, Rhytid stepped aside, waiting for the Guru to stand up and guide them there.
''After you, ofcourse.''

Helix couldn't help but sport a grin at Rhytid's eagerness and their shared excitement. Although it wasn't a very well known spot in Namekian history, and was generally kept very rarely used, wasn't it his job as guru to decide when facilities of Namek's prosperity should be sprung into action.
"Yes, it is rather amazing isn't it?" The dragon caste beamed. "It is quite shocking the incredible things which are sometimes right underfoot. That is the beauty of our planet: in every crevice and on every blade of grass there is joy to be found."
Rhytid was quickly on his feet, eager to head down to the caverns. Helix stood alike, shutting his book with a soft chuckle. "Certainly, we can head down," the prophet said with a strange look of anticipation on his face, "But there is— Oh, one moment—"
Helix lifted the hefty book with one hand, and in the other, a glimmer of white energy formed in his palm. With a flex of his fingers, his magic transformed into a gust of swirling wind, which Helix placed the book into. The small, gentle tornado slowly hovered the book up to the second floor of the building, and then wafted through the still open window, its lingering winds gently setting the book down on the ground beside the opening.
"As I was saying, there is one possible deterrent to entering the training ground." Helix lead the way, pacing over to the back edge of the guru's tower, gazing out across the sea. Then, he looked straight down off the cliff. "The only entrance to the cavern is an underwater tunnel right below this very spot!"
Helix looked over at Rhytid with wide eyes and a small pursed mouth. It was doubtful that this would deter the warrior caste, but Helix wanted to make sure all was well before they went skydiving off the side of the tower into an underwater tunnel! "Are you good at holding your breath?"

Rhytid's heart was beating ever so quickly at the discovery of these ancient caves. It sounded like something out of the ancient myths- a place where only the worthy were trained in ways passed down for generations. He could already imagine it: A cave dimly lit up by the light of century old crystals, where magic trickled into the air and infused the Namekians with mystical energies... It sounded amazing, really!
With a slight hum, Rhytid's eyes widened faintly as the prophet of Namek cooked up a small whirlwind! The tornado carried the ancient tome he was reading from up up and away, straight into the open window of his room. ''Huh-'' The Namekian hummed, standing a bit awkwardly as he blinked distantly. ''Neat trick.'' Rhytid nodded, looking back to Helix with disbelieving eyes. Could all Dragon Castes do that? Or was that something his position gave him?
Helix's words brought his senses back to reality, and Rhytid faintly shook his head as his thoughts returned to the living world. ''Uh- right, and what would that be?'' Rhytid asked, quickly following the Guru as he paced to the back of his house. As they walked, Rhytid could already guess what was to come next- Helix was walking suspicously close to that cliff.
And, just as his hunch was telling him, their wasn't an easy entrance into the sacred cave. ''Underwater...Could've guessed it wouldn't be that easy, right?'' Rhytid said with a light chuckle, gazing over the cliffside and into the calm waters below. ''Explains why it's been such a well kept secret...'' He continued, voice trailing off a bit as his thoughts wandered to diving off the cliff.
Rhytid glanced sideways at their Guru, who was looking at him with a bit of a questioning look, eyes wide. Then, the question came, and Rhytid could only snicker at it. ''Never been much of a swimmer I'll admit, but nothing a bit of water can do to harm you, right?'' The Warrior said to Helix with a smirk, before rolling his shoulders and neck to loosen his muscles.
''Could use a shower anyway, to be honest!'' Rhytid laughed eagerly, stepping back a few paces and lowering himself. The Warrior sent another smirk the Guru's way, and saluted him off with two fingers. ''See you down there, Guru Helix!'' The Namekian called out, and took off into a fierce run! Rhytid lowered his knees and jumped once he reached the edge, somersaulting a few times in mid-air as he cheered loudly.
He hit the refreshing water like a spear, diving straight into it with swiftness and grace. If there was a jury present, he'd probably get a '7.5' for his graceful dive! Now underwater though, Rhytid held his breath and tried to look around inside of the wavy waters as best as he could, trying to see if he could find the cave's entrance...
...He should've probably looked more carefully before diving down first- Namekians couldn't breathe underwater.
They weren't fish. Rhytid may have overlooked that small detail, though.

Helix smiled happily as the warrior caste expressed a similar sense of childlike wonder over the prospect of the mystical training ground. But before Helix could get in another word, the eager young namekian leapt over the edge of the cliff, diving down into the ocean below "H-Hey!" Gasped the prophet, "W-Wait just a minute— Oh Porunga—"
Rhytid was right. What could water do to harm him? Teetering on the edge of the ledge, the dragon caste tried to forget about his one hundred and twenty years of age. He took a deep breath in and leapt, hurling down towards the water at incredible speed.
It seemed like everything slowed down, and yet after the drop was over, Helix had no recollection of his thoughts on the way down. And then the crack came, and he crashed through the surface of the water with explosive force.
Helix opened his eyes, searching through the salty deep blue for his disciple. When he found Rhytid, he would wave silently, bubbles trickling up from the gaps between his limbs.
Soon, he realized that he was ten feet deeper than he had been a minute ago, and was sinking fast. It was his clothing! Saturated with water, the clothes had turned into weights and were dragging him down into the depths.
Quickly, the prophet attempted to shed his garbs, wriggling out of his now tight robes and kicking them off as they clung to his feet. Thoroughly out of breath, Helix quickly frogged to the surface of the water and pushed his head through, a sharp pain in his chest bubbling up out of his lungs as he exhaled.
Helix would wait for the warrior caste to join him with his head above the water, and then assess a suitable plan to proceed.

''Now, if I were a mystical, ancient underwater cave, where would I be...''
The words echoed into his own mind, cheeks puffed up comedically as he waded through the dense, salty waters. His head scanned from left to right, to up and down- but he couldn't see the lightest sign of a cave entrance anywhere! Was his eyesight simply too shitty, or was this cave extremely well hidden?
Suddenly, though, Rhytid felt something tug at him with an intense force, pulling him down to the depths below! ''Oh- Oh no...'' He spoke to himself mentally, swimming up against the force in a tight struggle. His clothing- his weighted clothing, THAT'S what was pulling him down! The Namekian tried his best to fight against the intense weight, yet felt like he was losing stamina quick.
In a desperate effort to not drown, he flexed all of his muscles, and thrusted his arms back with a faint, energized boom! His green aura now covered him in head to toe, the ki he was generating enabling him to fly and float freely, which also meant underwater! Now no longer sinking, he wiped a metaphorical bead of sweat from his forehead, and began looking around once more.
SPLOOOSH--!
A sudden impact into the water pushed the Namekian back. His eyes quickly opened again as he swam against the current, already knowing that none other than the Guru had just joined him in his underwater adventures. Rhytid waved back at his teacher in the same casual, comedic manner, before watching him swim up again.
The Guru going up reminded him of something too- he really needed some air! The pressure on his lungs, and the intense urge to gulp in a load of air began growing ever so larger! And thus, with a fast hiss of energy, Rhytid flew up up and away.
Resurfacing seconds after Helix had done, Rhytid immediately gasped for air, heavy pants mixed in with casual, playful laughter. ''Think I should've thought that one through a bit more!'' He let out with a friendly chuckle, before shrugging casually. ''Guess I can't help it, it's not everyday you get invited to train inside of an ancient underwater cave!''
He paused for a moment, regaining some of his composure as he cleared his throat, eyes gazing back at the cliffside.
''Couldn't see anything that looked like an entrance down there...Do you know where it is, Guru Helix?''

Just as it seemed that Rhytid was going to sink, he achieved a level of flight below water that allowed him to move freely. Helix breathed in a few hearty gulps of air on the surface as the warrior caste joined him.
"It is quite alright," The prophet nodded with a shrug, now in the nude, "I apologize for my lack of presentability."
When the warrior upstart asked if he knew the location of the cave, Helix shook his head. "I do not. Though, I do have a method of finding it."
In a moment, the prophet ducked his head below the water and looked out across the submerged wall of rock that gave way to the tower above. It was too dark to see anything now, but he could fix that.
Stretching his fingers outwards and extending his palms, Helix released a pulse of bright white light, sending it out in a warm sweeping ray. The ring of energy expanded as it touched rock, surveyed the surface, and then bounced back in photolocation
From where the bright returned the brightest, Helix knew that the crevices were the deepest. And so, the large shining glare coming from the depths had to be the entrance to the tunnel.
Helix poked his head up above the water. "I've seen it now," He noted to Rhytid, "The only problem is getting down there." He put his hand on his chin and hummed softly for a minute, before coming up with one of his trademark absurd yet practical ideas.
With each of his hands, Helix would reach up and grip the tip of one of his antennae. Stretching them out to a suitable length with natural namekian elasticity, the resourceful guru would pull down the beads of his antennae until they fit just inside the corners of his mouth. He closed his lips on them, holding them in place.
Ducking his head below the water once more, the tips of his antennae began to glow white with dragon caste magic. Within moments, the antennae were producing a solid stream of oxygen, and glowing bubbles were floating up from the prophet's nose and lips.
From below the water, Helix would gesture for Rhytid to follow him, and then submerge himself down towards where the tunnel had shown itself.
Pushing down in broad strokes, Helix would slowly swim deeper and deeper, suckling oxygen from his antennae as he went. Eventually, Helix pressed his fingers up against the underwater cliff. After feeling around for a few minutes, he spotted a particularly dark spot in the cliffside, and sure enough, it was a deep groove that gave way to a tunnel.
The guru would make sure that his disciple was following close behind, and then float his way into the tunnel. Turning back to Rhytid, Helix would reach up his glowing palm and produce a steady stream of bubbles, signaling to the warrior caste that he could breath air from the guru's palm if he needed it. And with that, Helix would breast stroke in to the tunnel.
By the time he got any reasonable distance in, the walls of the tunnel had gone completely black. The only light was the gentle glow coming from the tips of the prophet's antennae inside his mouth.
The tunnel was almost unreasonably claustrophobic, and it seemed unlikely that it would ever end. An underwater training ground would be quite hard to work with.
After minutes of swimming, the tunnel began a steady incline, and slowly curved upwards into a sharp vertical tube. Helix would push upwards and upwards, the last moments of the swim giving him the most trouble. At the top of the ninety degree angle was what seemed to be a lighter area of water. Was this the cave, or had they just made it to the surface?
As Helix thrust his head from the water, he spit out his antennae, allowing them to snap back to their usual positions. The guru's head was poking out of what seemed to be a small pond in a much larger cave. For a moment, it was just that: a large cave with a pond. And then the beautiful details came into focus. What seemed to be a soft blue light were kaleidoscopic light blue crystals, casting sharp swatches of light throughout the cave, rendering beautiful textures on the walls. Various pools were scattered across the floor of the cave, and each one appeared to be a perfect silver mirror, twisting and shifting in the light.
The splash that Helix's head made as it poked out from the water echoed and resonated warmly sloshing outwards and becoming gentler and gentler as it echoed, distorting into pure sound and then into an almost sentient whisper.
Helix's arms reached up, quivering as they planted themselves on the edge of the pool. He pulled himself out halfway, and sat on the edge of the pool, his eyes wide with wonder, his lips speechless.

The Namekian silently looked on as his respected teacher tried finding his way to the entrance. Helix sent a sharp, blinding light throughout the dense, yet clean waters, pulsating into the depths below as to illuminate everything. No longer was the underwater cliffside a darkened mess, you could actually somewhat make out where everything was!
Rhytid has his eyes widened the entire time, mentally questioning just how much cool tricks Helix could actually pull off with all of those centuries of wisdom he held inside of his head. Conjuring up tornadoes, whisking teapots into existence, and now this...? ''You really are capable of quite a lot, aren't you?'' Rhytid asked in light awe.
Helix, through the use of his funky, cool 'magic', found the way to the entrance! Rhytid cracked a grin, nodding proudly and confidently at his Guru. Indeed, getting all the way down there was a problem, but he was sure the genius Namekian could think of something.
And indeed he did! Helix's plan sure was a strange one, and looked very odd to Rhytid, who couldn't help but look on in shocked amusement. By now, Rhytid wasn't even really surprised anymore at the Guru's antics. Being able to do so many unusual things, it wasn't that confusing to see Helix turn himself into a living submarine.
''Well then- suppose I'll be right behind you.'' The Warrior said clearly, nodding his head as Helix dove underwater. Rhytid pondered it for a moment, slightly doubting the effectiveness of the Guru's plan. Eventually, though, he stopped caring. Rhytid merely shrugged, and followed Helix down into the depths below.
Rhytid stuck close to the Guru at all times, cautiously swimming behind the Namekian as his eyes waved around curiously. From time to time, he'd take in the oxygen from the air bubbles Helix left behind, feeling just a tad unsettled by the fact that Helix giving him his oxygen. Almost as if the Guru was giving him indirect CPR.
Nevertheless, it actually seemed to work quite well, and soon enough the duo found the entrance to the cave! Following the dim glow Helix gave off, Rhytid swiftly dove into the cave as well, a few feet behind the Guru.
The longer and further the two swam, the more uncomfortable Rhytid started feeling. Almost like there wasn't an end to it! For his feeling, they'd been swimming for much too long now, and was the cave starting to get thinner and thinner, or was that just Rhytid's imagination...?
Unsettling feelings and claustrophobia aside, Rhytid was relieved to have the Guru there. Should something have gone wrong, he'd certainly find them a way out. Maybe this cave was just some elaborate death trap set up by some sick asshole?
He couldn't help but actually doubt the existence of these 'mystical training caverns' now...
When the tunnel actually curved steadily upwards, though, a glimmer of hope shined in his head once more. Swimming upwards was a good sign! Maybe this was a sign? A sign of the unsettlingly long cave finally coming to an end?
Rhytid heard a distant splash from above, and saw the water ripple above him...!
''Oh thank Porunga, finally...!'' Rhytid thought, a heavy load lifted from his shoulders. The narrow caves were starting make him feel extremely anxious, after all. Helix seemed to pause his swim as his head stuck up from the water, however, leaving Rhytid briefly stuck down there wondering what was holding the Guru up. Were the Guru's expectations shattered, or the exact opposite? No matter what it was, Rhytid hoped he would hurry up, he was running out of oxygen!
Finally, he noted that the Guru started pulling his body out of the water, and Rhytid followed immediately after. The young Warrior's head darted out of the water with loud gasps, heavy breaths of relief before he sighed loudly. ''Guess I should've figured it wouldn't be an easy tri...-'' Rhytid spoke casually, yet his sentence cut off suddenly. The Namekian's eyes widened with awe, his head waving around in shock as he laid his eyes upon the interior of the cave.
''Whoah...''
Rhytid slowly pulled himself out of the waters, mesmerized by the bright, hypnotic colours and beautiful crystals. He stood straight, and spun a full, slow circle, taking all of his surroundings in as the water dripped from his heavy clothing. ''This...This is beyond anything I could imagine...'' He spoke in a soft, mesmerized tone, his words echoing deeply and calmly from the caverns' walls. Curious as can be, Rhytid slowly began walking toward one of the bright, mystical crystals embedded into the wall.
The Namekian slowly raised a hand, and cautiously placed it on one of the light blue crystals. A calm, magical whirr came from the crystal, along with a spark of light blue energy that surged into Rhytid's hand! ''Ack-!'' The Namekian quickly pulled his hand back. Not from pain, but from surprise. The crystal surged a spark of energy straight into Rhytid, sending a revitalizing, powerful shiver through his body. His heartrate increased from the surge, feeling himself energized beyond belief!
Rhytid quickly snapped his head backwards, an amazed and positive smile beaming on his face!
''Your books weren't lying, Guru Helix, this is truly amazing!''

Helix pushed himself to his feet, and walked out into the vast cavern in awe. His shock soon turned to a grin as Rhytid emerged from the underwater tunnel and was overtaken with astonishment.
"This is far beyond my expectations," Helix gasped finally, as he paced around the perimeter of the crystal catacombs. On one of the walls, there was ancient namekian written in ruins, an archaic message of some sort. Helix couldn't quite decipher it.
As the prophet continued to explore the room, he stumbled upon a pedestal, topped with what appeared to be a gear or button of some sort, made completely out of stone. Helix tried pressing in on it, and then turning it, but it would only budge a few inches.
"Rhytid—" Helix turned around, speaking towards his apprentice excitedly, "Come here and help me rotate this gear!"

The excited Namekian snapped back to reality once his mentor called out to him, voice echoing throughout the large caverns. ''Hm?'' Rhytid hummed, gazing past Helix to see a very strange, ancient-looking pedestal. ''This place really is full of surprises, isn't it?'' The Namekian chuckled, stepping through several puddles of water to reach Helix.
Once there, he took a moment to look at the peculiar stone pedestal, thinking just what it would trigger once they managed to turn it. The thought of it being a trap sprung his mind, yet he quickly buried that thought away again. This place was made for Namekians, why would they build traps for their own people?
''Alright then, let's see...'' Rhytid spoke curiously, reaching out to the pedestal with a firm grip. Muscles in his arms tensing up, Rhytid grunted heavily as he tried to turn the thing, yet it moved even less than when Helix tried to do it! Veins in his forehead began to pop out, his teeth gritting intensely against one another, but to no avail!
Letting go, he breathed heavily, glancing over toward Helix. ''Damn- this thing's tough!'' Rhytid complained, glancing around the room and toward the ceiling. ''I don't think I can turn into the Great Namek here- this place is way too cramped...'' The Namekian sighed out. The cave wasn't exactly small, but he didn't want to risk it collapsing on the two of them...
He glanced toward Helix again, and gave him a friendly nod. ''Guess we should use some teamwork, right?'' Rhytid said with a grin, placing his hands on the pedestal once more. An expectant gaze moved toward the Guru, waiting for him to join in as well. ''Alright, on your go, Guru Helix!''
