Whilst the rest of the Arcosian race may indulge themselves in their acts of piracy and tyranny, Abzerute cares nothing for the trivialities of such things. Or at least not the accumulation of such. No, his interests lie more in the archaic ages of the past, and yet also at the same time towards the distant glimmer of the future. He believes the reason for their current situation is due to the pasts mistakes being repeated, and seeks to correct this, for himself at least. If others are unable to realise this simple fact, then they were doomed from the start.
And so he has spent much of his time studying the past few millenium, in particular the time frame when the Arcosian people went into decline due to the destruction of a particularly infamous Arcosian's family line at that time against the Saiyans. The Saiyans even back then were a pain in the collective backsides for the Arcosians... as much as they are to this day. He is of course under no illusions about the differences in power and strength. The legend of the Super Saiyans keeps cropping up throughout history enough times to be considered truth as well as a warning.
As a precaution, along with the historical studies, Abzerute trains himself in a way most fitting for the superior biological nature of an Arcosian warrior... by training in the gravitational fields of suns and stars. Planets gravities shift and change, relative to one planet or another... but the gravity field of stars, of suns, they remain a constant, increasing as the stars become denser and denser. Not to mention the constant bombardment of radiation, solar flares, the heat from the proximity to these celestial bodies provides the ideal grounds for improving his endurance and stamina, as well as pain thresholds.
Let's see any human, Saiyan, or indeed any Super Saiyan's claim the same. The Arcosian's are the superior species, and Abzerute will see them returned to their true place as rulers of the cosmos, but will be ever mindful of the follies of the past. Should he prove to be stronger than his foe, he will not hesitate to end their existence immediately and without hesitation. There is no sense in toying with an enemy... it merely provides them with the time and opportunity to defeat him.
That and he's allergic to Ozaru fur, so Saiyans, full moon... yeah, they're gonna die quickly.
With the recent destruction of the Arcosian homeworld due to the Saiyan's use of the Tree of Might, Abzerute finds himself pushing himself more and more, eager to settle the score. Over the course of his Solar Gravity Training as he's dubbed it, his once bone white bio armour has become, for lack of a better word, tanned. Abzerute see's no need in altering this fact of appearance by shedding himself as some of the more vain members of his species no doubt would. In fact, he looks upon his solar stained form as a sign that he's on the right path. After all, do the Saiyans not turn into a shining yellow version of themselves when they obtain their Super forms? Visually if nothing else, it will give him a second of confusion if not shock to his enemies...
And in battle, a single second can make all the difference between victory and defeat.
