The bronze Arcosian looked out through the viewport of his ship's Command Bridge as they arrived at their destination, the blue and green orb hanging there amidst the black of space. New Namek, homeworld of the Namekian people, recently destroyed by one of Earth's rogue androids, only to be resurrected by that same world's own mystical omnipotent wish-granting devices, who's twins lurk somewhere on the surface of this distant world. The Dragon Balls.
Abzerute looked over to the twin Majin minions who were piloting his ship. "Bring us in to land... find an isolated location that would serve as a natural defensive position, but also not so isolated that we cannot locate the ship again." he ordered the one on the right, who nodded and began to make the necessary calculations whilst scanning the planet for such a location. He turned his attention to the Majin female on the left. "Anything from the Dragon Ball detection module yet?" he inquired, the female tapping her screen before shaking her head. "Nothing sir. We're not detecting any sign of these Dragon Balls yet." she informed him, the bronze Arcosian snarling at the report, his nails biting into the leather upholstery of his chair.
"Maybe we're too far from the planet's surface for it to be effective sir? The device may be incorporated to our ships sensor array sir, but it could possibly only detect them within a certain range?" came a suggestion from the Majin in question, Abzerute pondering it for a moment before he slowly nodded. "Sounds plausible. Continue scanning at each possible opportunity that you can acquire. The sooner we locate these Dragon Balls before anyone else can the better, especially if we can claim them before anyone realises that we are even here." the bronze Arcosian ordered, the Majin female nodding before she returned to her duties.
He reclined in his chair as the ship entered the planet's atmosphere, beginning its descent towards the blue and green world. As they got closer and closer to the surface, Abzerute could make out strange trees that looked like giant blue balls stuck on top of thin sticks, and seemingly endless fields of blue grass, dotted here and there with several white structures. Some were small whilst others were large, some tall and some wide. It looked quite peaceful, almost idyllic. The bronze Arcosians perspective however was about to be changed. "Sir, we're detecting at least one other vessel some distance away from our location... it looked to have been landing as well. It's out of range of our sensors now..." reported one of the Majin females, he didn't bother to keep track of which one at this point since they were both the split copies of one single Majin.
Abzerute tapped his chin before he shook his head. "Continue with our present course. If they are new arrivals as well, I want us to be fortified as swiftly as possible. If we detected them, then its very likely that they detected us as well." the bronze Arcosian ordered, the Majins nodding and hurrying to carry out the command. Eventually the ship landed, hiding itself between a set of cliffs that should hopefully act as natural camouflage to the casual observer. It wouldn't hold up under much scrutiny against someone purposefully looking for them, but it would have to do. New Namek may look idyllic and serene, but that same serenity and peace made it quite difficult to locate any proper locations to hide a spaceship. The bronze Arcosian was starting to suspect that the locals may have had a hand in carving the world's land into their own desires.
With the ship's landing, Abzerute stepped out of his vessel, looking back to the two Majin females. "Remain here, and keep me informed of any developments. I want one of you to keep an eye on that scanner at all times, both of them. If it so much as pings I want to be informed immediately." he ordered them, the girls reluctantly nodding at his demands. With that said, the bronze Arcosian took in a slow breath, suppressing his energy levels to the bare minimum so that he could escape any detection himself, and proceeded to set off on his search for the Namekian Dragon Balls, as well as hopefully a Namekian who would activate and translate his wish to them. The first step to his ascension had begun, and there was no turning back.
