The bronze Arcosian looked out across the empty wasteland that was currently serving as his training grounds here on Aoi Brenchia. True it didn't provide him with any foes to fight directly in hand to hand combat, but it did provide him with plenty of targets for his ki based attacks, immobile as they were. "Death Wave." he said, charging up his ki at the ends of his fingertips before swinging them down in an arc, a purple wave of Ki energy carving through the nearest pillar of stone and decimating it. He looked at the damage his attack had created then at the surrounding area. "A tad cliché perhaps and grandiose... but it gets the job done for the time being." he mused as he floated along, selecting his next target.
Abzerute raised an eyebrow ridge at the sight of a nearby mammalian life form, scuttling around in the dirt. "A moving target. Perfect." he said with a grin, pointing a finger at the creature and firing off a narrow blast near it to induce a state of panic. With the creature suitably running in fear, the bronze Arcosian gave pursuit, firing off his Death Wave every so often towards it, using this innocent random creature as a live target. Most of his shots went wild, carving out new markings into the ground and surrounding stone pillars in the process until he finally hit the little rat-like creature. He glared at it with some level of irritation before sighing and rubbing his forehead. "Aim needs work... if I could barely hit this damn thing, how am I supposed to slice off a Saiyan's tail?" the bronze Arcosian asked himself before he floated up once more to look for more targets to work on.
When he couldn't find any in the immediate area he let out a sigh, shaking his head before looking at the nearby rock formations. "Enough with the energy techniques for now." he said as he descended to the base of the nearest stone pillar formation. Once he was on the ground he suddenly threw a punch into the stone, a small crater forming from the indentation. He thrust another fist into the stone, followed by another, then another, and another. He continued to punch into the rock formation for the several hours, until it was eventually reduced to a pile of rubble. He rubbed at his hands afterwards, feeling each and every bruise, and ache in each finger and knuckle.
The bronze Arcosian once more looked around the area before he ascended to proceed to sit atop one of the nearby pillars, allowing himself a moment's respite from his training. As he rolled his shoulders, he considered his moves in the future to come. It was one thing to work on these techniques and increase his power, but it would be another entirely to take the empty throne and hold it for himself. In the short term, his plans were to utilise the human scientist Beryl Roarke and his Gravity Chamber, using that device as often as he could, increasing the gravity within it each and every time. That would speed up his power development and hopefully allow him to obtain the Royal Form that Wyntre herself had utilised in life before Zucceta had ended her existence.
If need be, he'd also attempt to get Captain Koldar to work for him, thus giving him access to a growing military force... the problem was in how to make the old soldier do so in the first place. If he became far stronger than him, he could exert his will that way by threatening to destroy him. However, a military force kept in service to someone through fear would only breed dissension within its ranks and eventually turn against the one in command of it.
History was full of such situations. His main concern though was for those elements amongst his own species that were no doubt already eyeing the throne themselves... Wyntre's remaining Elite would no doubt take some umbridge with an unknown Arcosian simply appearing and declaring themselves their new ruler.
However, on the other hand he couldn't just simply allow the Arcosian Empire to flounder as it currently was, and playing the political game would only exasperate the situation further. Abzerute sighed a little, shaking his head. "Either way it's going to be a rough start. My best option is to achieve the Royal Form as soon as possible to ensure my success... assuming nobody else achieves the same level of power in the meantime." said the bronze Arcosian with a sigh before he stood up and stretched his arms.
"No matter. Back to training. I want to make sure that the next session with that human is a little less humiliating." he said before slowly smirking. "Who knows... once we reach the maximum potential of the Gravity Chamber, I may just reveal to him my strongest form as a reward." mused Abzerute.
The bronze Arcosian shrugged at the thought, chuckling somewhat at the image in his mind that was playing out before him. The dark skinned human's reaction to him attempting to kill him accidentally in their last training had been interesting... he could only imagine what the man's face would look like when his full power raged before him in all of its glorious majesty. Abzerute looked to his current Suppressed Form and smirked. It had been a while since he'd taken on his True Form... it would be quite curious to see for himself how much more powerful he had become by the time they trained in one hundred and fifty times Earth's gravity.
Of course, he still had every intention of procuring his own vessel with its own Gravity Chamber. He couldn't solely rely on the human's one for the remainder of his training, especially not if he wished to achieve it in the space of time that he required. Perhaps he should begin the acquisition process for a ship... The bronze Arcosian mulled over the situation. He'd of course have to start off with something basic, something small enough to accommodate his needs, yet large enough to support even a basic Gravity Chamber. He sighed a little at the prospect. "A basic one only goes as far as fifty times Earth's gravity..." Abzerute grumbled before shrugging.
"Can't be helped I suppose... so, that's the plan." he said as he turned his eyes up to the sky above. "Get the ship, get the chamber, train and improve both ship and chamber over the course of time whilst also using continuing my training, then use the powers obtained to take control of the Empire and set it on the right course." he said to himself before returning his gaze to the land around him. "Well then," he said, cracking his knuckles, "no time like the present to get started." said the bronze Arcosian before he began to surge towards a nearby rock pillar, and proceeding to punch and kick the stone edifice. His training resumes.
