Gravity Chamber set to 50 times Earth's Gravity
The bronze Arcosian cracked his knuckles as he set the artificial gravitational field manipulation chamber to its fifth, and for this particular model, maximum setting. Whilst he would have thoroughly enjoyed acquiring a much more powerful gravity chamber for this trip, given the fact that his ship had the power capacity to run one that could reach eighty times that of Earth's gravity, he had to instead spend his funds on that new scanner module after the information the human scientist Beryl Roarke gave him. The fact that he couldn't simply locate these Dragon Balls with his own normal Scouter incensed him. If the scanner module detected their energy readings, then surely so could a Scouter, a device who's sole function is to detect energy readings.
Abzerute shook his head as he began to set himself into his training regime by first flying laps around the chamber's walls, pushing himself to his maximum speed in his Suppressed Form. As he worked on improving his speed, he thought over the situation he now found himself in. He was heading towards a world he had never been to before, a world that not only would have its own defences, however meager they may be after its former destruction, as well as who knew who or what else arriving there to claim the resources. The bronze Arcosian could almost be certain that Earth would be sending its own delegation, since they were the ones who had revived Namek in the first place with their own Dragon Balls.
With the current galactic political situation, he estimated that there would be at least five to six people coming from Earth to speak with the Namekian government body. A small enough number to not arouse any suspicions, but large enough to defend themselves should they get into any problematic situations. Abzerute grumbled as he was ninety nine percent sure that whichever one of their warriors it was that had defeated the Saiyan Empress would more than likely be amongst their numbers. With that thought in mind he ceased his speed training for the time being, and began to work on his energy blast techniques, firing off a series of short controlled bursts of ki towards randomly appearing targets around the chamber.
Then of course there would no doubt be a force from the Solar Saiyan Empire arriving as well... quite possibly the same numbers, if not fewer to ensure they weren't detected. After their defeat on Earth they would be in need of more resources, and a recently restored planet would be an ideal target for some pillaging among other things. And of course, there were other unknown organisations, and shadowy cults that could potentially be making their way towards New Namek as well for one purpose or another. At least one or two entities, three at the most from these factors as well.
Abzerute estimated that at least two to four unknown groups would be sending their own forces to New Namek, which in total meant there would be at least six different parties to contend with. He grumbled as his head imagined the terrible prospect of each one of these groups claiming a Dragon Ball each and the surface of Namek turning into an absolute war zone. If that became the case, then it was likely that the Earth based forces would hold the advantage... Earth and Namek had long held relations with one another, and it was plausible that Earth's delegation would include Namekians, whom in turn would know how to work the Namekian Dragon Balls. Assuming that the Namekian wish granting devices did indeed work on that theoretical possibility.
If New Namek turned into a war zone for the Dragon Balls, then the bronze Arcosian would have to find and collect one of the local inhabitants who knew how to work the devices, and ensure they survived long enough for him to make his wish to restore Arcose to beyond its former glory. He stopped with his target practice as he frowned at the ever-increasing odds being stacked against him on this venture. There were far too many unknown variables, one of them including if his Dragon Ball scanner module would even function correctly... or if Namek's Dragon Balls were even still intact. Would they have been brought back with the world when it was resurrected by the wish made by Earth's Dragon Balls?
It was too late to be considering such a situation. The bronze Arcosian shook his head before he began to leave the Gravity Chamber, a blinking light on the console indicating that the Command Bridge required his presence. The only reason they would be interrupting him was that they were about to arrive at New Namek... soon the stage would be set, and all the players at their marks. The time for one of histories defining moments, was about to begin.
