Tomo's hair is long and black, seeming slightly red when under the sun of planet Vegeta. It reaches down just below her butt and spikes backwards only slightly, giving her the wild look of the saiyan race.
Just like the rest of her people, Tomo's body is well toned and has it's fair share of scars, however upon longer inspection, you can tell that she is much shorter and slightly scrawnier than her counterparts.
Her eyes are dark brown, and her tail is always kept behind her, not tucked in like most others. She finds that there is little point to keeping it close, as she does not consider her tail a weakness, but a symbol of her strength and pride as a saiyan.
As for clothing, she wears the traditional saiyan armor that forgoes the long shoulder and ab plates. The center chest plate is also a deep red color instead of any other traditional colour.
History:
Tomo was born on planet Vegeta, daughter to two low-class Saiyan warriors. Her parents had high hopes for the baby girl throughout her mothers pregnancy, hoping that the baby would display a power level of a higher class saiyan. While they themselves wouldn't benefit from their childs fortune, they could no doubt at least become mid-class saiyans with their childs influence.
Whenever her mother gave birth to a girl with an average power level, her father was quick to walk out of their lives as he wanted nothing more than a powerful son he could be proud of. Instead, he would be stuck with this brat of a girl who, in his eyes, would never amount to anything. Her mother however, stood by her daughters side, unable to cast aside her maternal bonds over her child.
She was able to stay by the baby girl, later named Tomorokoshi, for 3 years before the order came to send the small girl to a distant planet where she would grow up, and conquer it in the name of her race. No doubt her mother should consider this opportunity an honour for her un-gifted daughter. She didn't... in fact if she could have fought the queen herself (without dying) to prevent her daughter from being sent away, she would have. Alas, that wasn't an option, and Tomo's mother had to say good-bye to her little daughter when the day came to send her away...
Having been born and raised on planet Vegeta (at least for the first few years of her life) Tomo felt ready, even as a 3 year old girl, to take on the world she would arrive to. While she couldn't conquer it in her infant state without a full moon, she would rely on this alien race to raise her until she was old enough to truly take over the planet.
Her pod began to burn through a purple and hazy atmosphere as she arrived at her destination, HD 188753 or Garea, crashing into it's sandy surface with a loud clash, leaving a giant impact crater around the small craft. Inside the pod, Tomo could do nothing until the computer system opened the door for her, and the infant child crawled out, tears in her dark brown eyes as the young girl tried to take in her surroundings. It seemed that Garea was a desert planet and there were only a scarce amount of biological beings that could survive here.
As Tomo crawled aimlessly through the sand of the planet, her hands burning from the heat the three suns created the small began to really cry. Lowly at first, as if she refused to let her tears flow, but the more hungry and thirsty the girl grew, the louder her cries became. It took many hours before she was found by the first biological life the young girl had seen since her arrival... a tall assortment of rocks with a carved face as a head. Immediately, Tomo stopped crying as she glared up at this rock man, sniffling as she watched the tall creature approach her.
At first, the creatures sole intent was to silence whatever wailing was coming from the desert, for fear that whatever it was, it would attract the planets much larger predators. However, upon finding a small infant, the rock creature found himself at a loss as to what to do. her eyes told me that there was intelligence in this creature, that Tomo wasn't just some animal to be slain, and the more the young girl glared at her, the more the being grew endeared to her in a very strange way. Eventually, he decided to take her home, wrapping the girl up crudely in a lizard skin bag that he had poured some of his water into to keep the child cool.
Tomo stayed with the rock creature, known at Gatsu, until she turned about 5 years old. At that point, she had gone on many hunting adventures with Gatsu and had begun to grow quite close to her foster parent. Any time Gatsu went hunting, he would be sure to bring Tomo with her. At first, she would only sit in her scaled clothes and watch as he hunted. When she eventually began to understand what he was doing, she would start to run out, away from Gatsu as he concentrated on his prey to go and hunt her own. On several occasions she would return with large dead Crrish, the large stone encrusted snake like creatures that were considered one of the hardest catches on the planets. Impressed with her hunting prowess, Gatsu began to show little Tomo how to fight more appropriately, how to defend herself and take care of herself if she ever ended up alone in the wilderness of Garea.
Her life with Gatsu would soon come to a close however, as the suns of planet Garea began to shift and grow too close to one another to maintain their stability. As one star, the fursthest from the planet, exploded, it caused the planet to begin to shatter, whole chunks of land would fall from the planet and move into the space through the weakened atmosphere. The planets second sun, was extinguished by the firsts blast, leaving nothing but an empty, boiled husk of metal in space. Together, with the pieces of planet Garea that were free'd from the planet, the final sun was blocked out, creating the planet's first nightfall.
Due to the proximity of the planets remaining sun, and the debris covering it from the planet, Tomo was able to experience the first saiyan transformation of many she would endure. The debris acted as a moon, bouncing the blux waves from the sun, back onto the tiny saiyan.
It was one of the most excruciating experiences the young girl had ever felt as her mouth elongated into a long snout, her muscles and tiny body expanded with ferocious power as the transformation took place. Gatsu could do nothing that night but watch his saiyan 'child' change into this large beast, a creature unlike any he had ever seen on Garnea before... much larger than the Crrish Tomo had once killed, and donning fur instead of the harsh scales most inhabitants of the planets sported for protection. At first, Gatsu attempted to reason with the large ape, calling to Tomo to get her to snap out of her rage, however nothing he did even caught her attention. She was quick to kill him, stomping on him and destroying his body before continuing to thrash her way through as much of the planet as she could. considering the planet was quickly falling apart as it was, the night time on planet Garnea lasted what would have been 5 days on planet Vegeta. By the time she returned to herself, there was scarcely any more damage she could inflict on the planet.
When Tomo returned to normal, she set out to search for Gatsu, unsure of what she had done when she had transformed and unsure of where she would go from there. She wandered and wandered for what seemed like months, surviving on her own in Garnea's harsh wilderness learning to truly survive on her own for the first time. When she eventually made it back to where her home with Gatsu should of been, she found nothing but wooden beams sticking up above the sand. Crushed by the revelation of what she must have done, the young saiyan began to run. She ran as far away as she could from the little home she shared with Gatsu and towards the planets scar (The part of the planet where the earth had been torn from the planet and thrown into space). There, she found something familiar... a small beaten up space pod mostly burried in the sand, burn marks liking the outer hull of the ship.
She hesitantly stepped inside the opening, clearing out the sand as best she could and jumping slightly as the door snapped shut. That was the last time she saw planet Garnea, because as soon as she sat down and the ship recognized her, it took off from the planet, never letting Tomo really say good-bye to the now destroyed planet.
She mourned the loss of her parent, and her teacher all the way up until she arrived on planet Vegeta. The computer had updated her on who she was, where she was from and what her mission had been. It congratulated her on a job well done and then proceeded to update her on what had happened on Vegeta while she was gone.
When she exited her ship, she steeled her face and emotions as best as a 5 year old could, not letting any of her fellows see how she had been affected by her relationship on the planet she had 'conquered' for them. She explained as best she could what had happened on the planet to the superiors that asked her, and was then quickly assigned to a low-class team where she would continue to take missions and serve as the 'low-class scum' that she was. She barely got to see her mother, having only been able to visit her for 2 days before her team was assigned to leave for another planet. One that would be much harder to conquer than the 'empty dustball' she was meant to die on.
One mission after another went by with her new team, and over time Tomo had come to care for all of those she travelled with. There was Okono, another female saiyan like her. Okono was at least 5"5 and much more built than Tomo was with short hair that barely passed her ears. she was an 18 year old low-class like her determined to bring her team up to elite-class standards and pushed all of her team mates to their limits on every mission. Then there was Haku, a handsome young saiyan of 17 years old. His hair was so short, you could only just grab him by it if you tried. Haku was a real jokster, he kept their missions light even at Okono tried to turn everything serious. He always made jokes, teased little Tomo and flirted with his beautiful Okono. Lastly, there was Komatsu, the leader of their little team. He was a 19 year old bulky man with nothing but victory on his mind. He wouldn't accept failure from any of them, especially Tomo. Komatsu had longer black hair that seemed to spike out in every which direction. His eyes were even darker than hers, and always serious. He barely ever joked around, or praised any of them directly. He was always hard on his team, but he would never abandon them. If there was one thing that matched their leaders pride was his loyalty. While he was forced to take Tomo onto his team, over time he quickly grew to like her, and so began to push her to her constant limits.
After every mission Tomo would return to planet Vegeta beaten and bloody and barely able to stand. This didn't mean that the inhabitants of the planets they conquered beat her. Not at all. In fact Komatsu was the one to always beat her to an inch of her life if she didn't return in critical enough condition. He didn't beat her mercilessly, he fought her and gave her every opportunity to fight back. At first, Tomo resented Komatsu for what he constantly did to her, feeling as if he was using her as a pedestal to prove she was low class while he would rise to mid-class. However over-time, she looked forward to her end of mission fights with him. She would always be tired from their mission, but the more she fought him, the more she learned from him and the more she loved to fight. She was even able to copy a couple of his techniques; The rail gun and the atomic strike.
Tomo was with her team for 10 years, growing from the little 6 year old nobody to a powerful 16 year old warrior. Within the last year the team was together, they had been elevated from low-class to mid-class warriors, displaying on more than one occasion that their power far surpassed that expected that of the low classes. She was happy with her team, having grown to care for each of them just as much as she cared for her biological mother who still made every effort to be with her daughter every time she returned to planet Vegeta.
It was after one such meeting with her mother that she was called away to a mission that would prove challenging even to the best of mid-class warriors. It was a job not quite on the level of the elites, just just tough enough to take the best of the mid class. It was more than exciting to know that they were even considered for this job, and each of them took off looking forward to the thrill of the upcoming battle.
