Humanoid figure with aqua blue, leathery looking skin (not scales). Body is covered in tiny pores too small to be seen by the naked eye but allow for absorption of oxygen out of water for a time limit of up to 6 hours (dependent on environment). Gills on the neck that allow for absorption of oxygen in water, thus Marautis is amphibious to a certain degree but requires a wet environment (marine or freshwater) or at least high humidity environments in order to breathe and therefore survive. Marautis has a tall slender build (approx 190 cm) that's hydro-dynamic in shape to facilitate streamlined movement in the water. He has a somewhat muscular physique allowing him to powerfully swim through water at high speeds. On land his movement is less orthodox but not dissimilar to that of a humans. Marautis' feet are webbed however (still with five toes) as this provides him with his main source of propulsion in the water. His hands are not and resemble the hands of a human, four fingers and one thumb on each hand. Marautis does not have hair anywhere on his body but possesses small streamlined fins on his forearms and lower legs which can be retracted internally when locomotion occurs on land. His eyeballs have various layers of protective lenses that not only protect and conserve moisture in his eye but can change according to available light levels to maximise Marautis' vision to a certain degree in darker waters and bright land environments.

Character Relations
Raisu Hanamura: This character is known to Marautis. The two have battled before and remain neither friends nor enemies. Marautis is respectful of Raisu's strength. The two are acquaintances.
Kazar Winters: Two have developed somewhat of a friendly rivalry. Marautis respects Kazar's strength and is fond of taunting him. Kazar seems to be positively aligned in Marautis' eyes and this annoys him. He enjoys their rivalry and would consider him and Kazar just that.
Otto: Marautis somewhat likes Otto. The two have met once and formed a slight friendship. Otto comes across as cynical and selfish, two traits that Marautis admires. He respects Otto's motifs and looks to further his relationship with him in the future.
Tuce (and Raum): Marautis has battled these two individuals once and admires their sinister battle tactics. Their relationship is yet to develop further.
