[Open thread welcoming anyone to come in have a good spar or a fight or w/e] [Thread PL: 4250]
Marautis surfaced from northern coastline of the great southern ocean he had grown so used to. He came ashore stepping tenderly into the warm and powder white sand. The remnants of the ocean ran off his body, dripping back down into their watery domain. Marautis had not in fact been on such a large land mass in quite sometime. He did prefer the smaller solitary confines of the many islands and atolls he made his living upon. The mainland he found too crowded, not to mention, dry... the air would suffocate his porous skin and survival would become a bleak prospect trying to establish a living on the main continent of the south. The beach would be as far as he would make it, hoping that some entertainment of some sort would bring itself to him. A challenger perhaps?
Marautis had not yet the pleasure of meeting a combatant so far that would push him further than his limits permitted on most occasions. His training had been a solo feat and there seemed no better test for the young man than to test to might against an unknown competitor. Of course where would one go about finding such a worthy and respective individual. An individual that of course would possess the potency and valor to provide a stimulating bout of battle for Marautis. Not yet had the young man come across such an entity, but perhaps today was the today that that fact itself would be rewritten and amended.
And so, Marautis would let the ki flow through his body to provide a sufficient charge bringing his PL to attention of those that could detect it hopefully in the near vicinity. Coursing through his body now was the power that he had hoped would be put to the test of this fateful day. Would he find a challenger upon which to test his might against. Marautis waited on the spot, intending to loiter for a few minutes, and to see what fortune would bring upon him.

[Thread PL: 6,070]
Kazar and his companion tyler, had been traveling farther out west, away from south city after restocking on food and water. Kazar was taking a break day, to train or find a person to train with aside from his friend. The last time he had any serious training, was a battle against 2 people, who threatened kazar over a scouter, who of which, kazar nearly died from such event. Thus increasing his power level by huge amounts (Fyi not a zenkai boost, it was a solo thread. So to let me clear this up, i said this for the flavor to add for the rp aspect.). His power level before was 4,411. But now at a crazy 6,070. He flew by past a beach, and decided to take a small dip. he flew down telling tyler to meet him, at a town further south, before dispatching from his friend. Kazar then landed at the beach, 200 feet from Marautis. "Hah. Finally, some rest and peace." he said as he sat down on the beach, letting the waves splash over his feet, in the warm breeze.
But as he started to relax his scouter started beeping like before, showing a PL of 4,250. it pointed west, downwards of the beach. He got up quickly and flew over to it's location.

[Thread PL: 191,184]
Raisu sat outside his home in the Southern Islands, absentmindedly carving at a piece of drift wood he had found. It was oddly relaxing, whittling away at the salty wood. Raisu was not even sure what exactly it was that he was carving. Some kind of misshapen rolling pin? He wasn't sure. Likely, he'd just burn it tonight anyway. But it was something to do in between training sessions.
And then something hit his mind. A ki signature? Rising, too. And he'd never felt this one before. With a sign, Raisu rose from where he sat. He'd best go check it out, he decided. The Southern Islands were a hotbed of ki activity these days. And how many of these people had ended up being Saiyans? No, he couldn't ignore it if that were the case. If he left it alone, it might not be long before they were burning his house. And it wasn't a huge deal anyway, though Raisu as he burst into the air and towards the source of the ki. It might just distract him.
Raisu saw the source of the signature finally, and braked in air. What was that? A fishman? Maybe one of the beastfolk, though he'd never seen a fish one. Strange, but at least it wasn't a hostile Saiyan. More ki signatures approaching as well. Was this some kind of trap? If so, they certainly caught the wrong guy.
"Hey, what's up?" Shouted Raisu as he landed nearby. He'd come closer to the creature waving his hands and showing that they were empty, palms out. Raisu had always learned that that was the universal sign for peace. Now, time to see if it held true. "What's going on, man? Your ki is going off like a signal fire."

The sun hung ominously overhead. It was midday. This was a bad sign for Marautis. He wouldn't last long out in the heat of the colossus figure looming above him. 30 mins to an hour at best, was all he would have up his sleeve. Whatever concern that had amounted was soon washed away. This setting where Marautis stood was backed by the ocean, his domain. He knew that he would fare favorable in any battle on his turf. He knew the ocean quite well in these parts, it was his backyard after all. In any state, Marautis held comfort in knowing he had the power of his new transformation, the Water Bulk, up his sleeve. It would surely be handful for any competitor if Marautis was given a chance to unleash it's ferocity. A strong ocean breeze picked up from the rear and Marautis felt it's cool soothing blanket wash over him. But there was something else in the air, his ki sense began to trigger, beings nearby. Although this was want he had wished for it still instilled a sense of unsure exhilaration within Marautis. A being not far off in the east, in the air, closing in with considerable speed, it would soon be here. Another power level, extremely powerful, closing in even faster, it had landed and Marautis made out the responsible figure in the distance. It began to approach him with its hands in the air waving...peace...Marautis would not trust it, standing to his toes readying himself if anything was to quickly get volatile. "What's going on, man? Your ki is going off like a signal fire."
"I don't not hold my actions accountable to you stranger. Who are you?" replied Marautis firmly, ready to accept the peacful greeting yet hold his caution towards the stranger. He kept his senses sharp, wary of the approaching figure from the east, their presence was not unknown to Marautis. ( Kazar Winters)

Soon enough, i started flying as fast as i could when my scouter, pick's up a pl over 100,000. Soon i reached the beach where the fishman was, and the incredibly strong fighter. "Man. Wonder what someone with, such a high pl is down here. Hmm. Hey! Over here!" he shouted announcing his presence in the area. Kazar started to fly down to ground lvl, standing just 3 feet from the water.
His scouter, picks up a even higher pl hidden within this other warrior. This put kazar un-easy since he has never met such high standards. Seeing he's a saiyan, to. Kazar decided, to let his redish tail unfold under his clothes, and pop out behind him. It then wraps around his waist. he walks up to the very strong, character and asked. "hey who are you? my scouter picked up your power level. And may i say, that's impressive." Kazar said, with a friendly smile, and a chuckle. he held out his hand, to the character, as a greetings. "Anyway's my name's Kazar. Nice to meet you."

Raisu nodded to the newcomer. A halfbreed by the looks of it. Not unlike himself. Well, he thought, the more the merrier. Raisu looked to each person in turn. Well, this got interesting. Each was far above average human standards at least. Interesting, he thought. The Southern Islands were indeed the place to be these days, it seemed.
"Nice to meet you too," said Raisu to the other hybrid.
But quickly, he turned back to the fishman. There was something about his demeanor that reminded Raisu of a certain Arcosian he had met while fishing one day... Raisu shook his head. No time to be distracted.
"Hey man, chill. I'm Raisu. I live nearby, so I came to check things out. The world's a dangerous place these days, you know?"

Marautis stood his ground as the second figure approached and began to converse with his inital company. A saiyan upon first inspection, noting the tail that coiled itself around his waistline. Perhaps a mix of something else in there as well, Marautis contemplated. Both the individuals before him with higher power levels than his own. This indeed would be an interesting challenge. He watched as the second personage to arrive remained un-introduced to Marautis. He watched as the two before him conversed.
"Hey man, chill. I'm Raisu. I live nearby, so I came to check things out. The world's a dangerous place these days, you know?"
"Indeed it is. Your power level far exceeds that of my own and our compatriot here," signalling with a nod of the head to Kazar. "I am Marautis, a Zoonamite. I live out on the seas and I bring myself here to this spot in search of an opponent."
Marautis began to limber up, bringing his neck down to either side of his shoulders with an audible crunch. Then pulling him arms across his body, loosening the eager tension in his joints. "You two appear to be worthy characters, that I think I may now grant permission to witness my proficiency in battle. Prepare yourselves!" With this final cry, Marautis would send out his hand and begin to form a precariously sized ball of ki in which to attack. The ki that began to course through his body would enlarge this attack in mere moments and the astute Zoonamite that went by the repute of Marautis began his assault.

Kazar flinched, seeing Marautis, talk about opponents and "Permission to witness my proficiency in battle" Kazar knew, that didn't sound good. So he quickly got in his, newly made battle stance, planting his feet firmly into the ground floor. One of his arms was held to his side, one leg leaned back, the other extended out. His other arm, held in the air, his entire hand facing up, leaving the palm of his hand to show.
Kazar saw the power in just the ki blast alone. Kazar responded with a bigger ki blast, and even stronger. The ki orb, kazar produced was in his left hand, the one facing away from him. he dared to create this ki blast, to only challenge Marautis's ki blast. Now kazar's scouter picked up a bigger power level inside, marautis such as it did with Raisu's. But kazar held a trick up his sleeve. His Hidden Potential. Not really mastered it, but enough to say, from information he's gathered up, in his travel's. He know's it would multiply his power x4. So in his hope's if all goes south, and he get's stressed enough in battle. he may be able to unlock said potential.
But as for now, focused on the here and now, kazar kept his senses sharp, and his guard on the edge, waiting for any new movement.

Well, wasn't this all fine and dandy, thought Raisu. They were just going to start fighting? People sure didn't waste anytime these days. Raisu shrugged. At least this Marautis guy seemed to be confident of himself. Confidence was good. It could go a long way. Of course, it had its limits. But Raisu had to admit, he was impressed that the fishman had the... fins?, to attack him. Either way, Raisu simply held up his hands and chuckled.
"Alright, pal," he said, "Shoot. Come on, let's see what you got. Maybe you'll be the person to make my day."
Raisu shot the fishman a grin and tilted his head sideways. Whatever came next would certainly be interesting. Man, he thought, this is certainly better than carving drift wood.

Quickly calculating a comprehensive plan of attack, Marautis noted that the one going by the alias of Kazar was quick to response to Marautis' actions. Clearly his implications were to overpower Marautis' initial blast which he had begun to form. It would be foolish to attempt a blast in which Marautis would seemingly be overpowered given Kazar's higher power level. The other individual, Raisu, as Marautis recalled, held a much higher power level and would pose more of a threat. Though in this situation, the threat lessened given that there was no indication of attack from him, a defensive target is an easy target in Marautis' book. Marautis would take his chances.
"Shoot. Come on, let's see what you got. Maybe you'll be the person to make my day."
Still retaining his charged attack, ready to detonate at any given second, Marautis made a quick leap into the air. His strong legs propelled him high into the sky where he composed himself, turning and twisting in the air, skill fulling somersaulting, coming to a land approximately 10 feet to the rear of Raisu. Strategically making sure the powerful warrior stood between him and Kazar, to hopefully shield any attack that the crafty half breed might attempt to make. Ki still charged, cocked and ready to go, Marautis poised his arm out in front of him swiftly and with a deafening roar unleashed his ruthless ki blast attack directly at Raisu.

Kazar grinned, this was exactly what he wanted. "Raaaaagh!" Kazar quickly flew around in front of the ki blast, and shot his own even stronger. Both ki blast's exploded, but kazar instantly created more and shot them, while flying quickly around Marautis. Kazar also aimed high, in case of Marautis jumping again, he shot a couple into the air, and they stayed there, keeping marautis blocked in a small area, full of ki blast's heading towards him.
Kazar, with a grin, sped up his creation of ki blast's, and kept shooting to see how many the marine may be able to block, take in, or deflect or counteract with his own ki blast.

Raisu stepped back as the fishman and the other hybrid began their own assaults. Man, he thought, people really are eager to fight. Raisu smirked, and looked at the scene unfolding with squinted eyes. He'd been hoping to take the blow and really get a sense of how strong the merman was. That's life, he thought.
Still, he could maybe interfere with what was unfolding. Give both of them a sense of what power was like in the big leagues. If Raisu could even be counted as the big leagues. But, he thought, he could hurt them too badly. He'd have to control himself, lest he wanted a repeat of earlier events...
[PL Set to 30,000 through Ki Supression]
Still, he threw both his hands up and they crackled with white power for a few moments, and then the energy exploded forward in a cone shaped blast of white; It was his White Sunburst attack. How they dealt with it, that remained to be seen.
[N1] White Sunburst used. Launching with a PL of 9,900.

The two blast attacks of Kazar and Marautis met and spectacularly cancelled out in a vivid display of light. Kazar's fresh onslaught meant Marautis couldn't drop his guard for even a second, with little time to take into the actions of Raisu, he watched as Kazar peppered him with multiple blasts simultaneously. The speed of the attack was phenomenal, Marautis would give him that. It seemed though to the young man that his opposition had simply shot and hoped, perhaps expecting Marautis to make his departure earlier than expected from this meeting.
Marautis' hands quickly lifted and met interlocked and suspended above him. As fast as he could generating an orb of ki, not of formidable size but enough to help him out of this predicament. Lowering in stature, squatting on the spot and launching himself up will full competence. Of course Kazar's attack could not be evaded, Marautis simply propelled himself through one of the above blasts Kazar had dispatched probably with the intention of trapping Marautis. The ki he had generated provided some protection but obviously the impact of the intimate explosion of the opposing ki blast meeting above him, dished minimal damage. A negligible amount to Marautis.
"There isn't much point is being fast, if to do so you forget to adhere to a strategic approach." Marautis chortled to Kazar upon his landing to the ground making sure to avoid any remaining ki blasts that Kazar had remitted in his prior attack.
Marautis would have relished his quick thinking for longer, but it came to his attention that the other half saiyan known as Raisu had taken advantage of the situation and began to launch an attack. Marautis felt Raisu's power level drop considerably, but not enough to make this a encounter a cinch by any means. There wasn't much time to think as the attack was launched with great haste and Marautis was left with little time to react. Pulling his body back making a hurried attempt to throw his body back to safetly as the blast drew nearer.
Alas, his attempts were futile for the most part. Marautis had escaped the brunt of the attack which would have surely proved almost fatal had it landed directly. He found himself face down in the sand that littered the beach upon which he battled. A searing fleshy burn has etched itself into the skin of his forearm. Shaken for merely a moment Marautis rose to his feet swiftly and heatedly.
"I thought someone of your strength Raisu would be better than that. Purely a scratch, is that it?" Marautis mocked through gritted teeth. "You've both done well, both of you, unsuspectingly allying together. I hope this wasn't your plan all along...no matter, you'll get your turn at feeling a little pain. Firstly... you!"
Marautis leapt forward at Kazar, covering quite the distance in his bound bringing forward his fist to attack. Driving it forward with great force... presenting a full melee offensive

Kazar grinned seeing marautis, find a way out. kazar stopped his attack's and noticed raisu's sunburst. "Hm." Kazar his arms facing away from each other, spread out as much as possible. To Enormous ki orbs formed in both hands. He then slammed both arms together, both palms side by side, each hand facing opposite ways. The two ki orbs combined together, as i draw back my arms to my right side. "KAAAAAAAAAAA!! MEEEEEEEEEEE!!" He takes a few extra seconds between each word he said, as well as giving his attack time to prepare. "KAAAAAAAAA ZEEEEEEEE!!!!" His attack then bulked up, and i fired it at raisu's sunburst. "WAAAAAAAVE!!!!" The kamekaze wave shot right past Marautis and then collided with raisu's sunburst.
[UP2] KameKaze Wave Used. Launching at 4,006/PL.
At first the sunburst held it's own pushing back, relentlessly. So kazar changed all ki flow in his body to both hands, which increased the amount of ki going threw his attack. (Since it's all being focused on the attack) Kazar looked over, noticing Marautis heading towards me, (If) He were to dodge my Kamekaze wave. So i simply floated into the air, and re-positioned myself so my leg's face him. Soon when marautis reached me, i used my leg's to defend myself whilst i fend off raisu's attack.

Raisu stepped back again, after the other hybrid's blast collided with his own. Raisu had power, more than him, but it had been enough for the other hybrid to save himself from a little damage. But for now, he'd let these two fight it out for a few moments while he gathered his energy. Marautis expected more of Raisu? He'd give it to him then. He just needed a little bit more time... Raisu smirked. Yes, he'd give it to them in full shortly.
"I'll let you two fight it out for a bit. I think I need to catch my breath," chuckled Raisu as he watched the oddities happening around him. The two of them were pretty good. They certainly had potential. Maybe Raisu could even teach them how to hone it a little... He'd been helping a lot of other fighters as of late and he enjoyed it.
But for now, he had a fight to take care of!
