The saiyan of darkness paced along a river, walking on the grass at a calm and slow place, simply taking in nature. He was in a more docile mood today, not trying to do much but if he could he would try to fit in some form of training. The sun was beating softly down on Earth, making it slightly warm yet cool at the same time. There was a scent of wetness from the river, not a bad scent but strong. Riku sat by the shade a few yards from the river and took out his ocarina, playing a soft melody that fit the calm mood of day.
The melody intruded the ears of many who passed by the area and it soothed them, some even watching the saiyan in black armor simply play the instrument with his eyes closed. He was calm, and he felt good today, who knew, maybe somebody with the intent of training would come along and spar with him. The saiyan continued to play his tune, blowing into the instrument with a calm attitude.

Marautis swam swiftly through the water. His legs fluttered powerfully, propelling his body forwards. A large meaty trout, would be his prey. He chased it with intent, precisely shadowing it's movements through the water. The fish swam for it's life, panic in it's eyes, almost as if it knew it's fate was sealed. It wouldn't be able to hold off Marautis' speed in the water for long. The fish began to lose it's battle and Marautis closed in. He outstretched his long arms reaching to grasp the fish and be down with this goose chase. Merely inches away from having his lunch within his grasp he could almost taste the sweet tenderness of the fishes flesh. This would be the moment he would finish his hunt, grasping the fish and bringing it's head back around to it's fin, to snap it's neck and quickly kill it. But it was not somehow, a high pitched ringing shot through the water and sharply pierced the ears of Marautis. He halted his movement through the water and brought his hands up to the sides of his head to block the noise. The strange high pitched shriek reverberated in the water. What was it? It was nearby.
Marautis had to track this noise down and silence it. It had ruined his hunt, he remained rather peckish. He shot straight up and launched his body forcefully out of the water in a commotion. His whole body flying out of the water, he landed and bobbed in the stream at neck height. His head darted around wildly, hands still raised over his ears. Upon locating the noise, Marautis spotted it emanating from a young boy who moved alongside the river, a flute-like instrument in his mouth, the source of the noise. The boy strolled along with his eyes closed, which seemed pretty ridiculous to Marautis, how did the boy even see where he was going? Marautis wouldn't tolerate this, as the boy moved away from him he would remove a single one of his hands from the side of his head slowly and reluctantly; cringing as the noise in his exposed ear intensified. He charged up a small ki ball in his palm and discharged it off from behind the boy to try to connect it with his back, to draw his attention. Should this blast connect and wake the boy from his trance like wander, Marautis would open his mouth to speak to him.
"Shut that stupid flute up!" he spat angrily, his head still ringing.

Riku slowly pondered on, eyes still closed as he approached a more shaded patch of grass. As the young saiyan began to finish his tune but his scouter beeped frantically, some sort of power surge was approaching him, but it didn't seem to have a power level exactly, but it could be identified by his scouter. The saiyan's eyes shot open as he turned his body swiftly, a small ki orb approaching him rapidly. Riku simply smacked thr blast to the ground and his eyes scoured the area around him for the source of the attack. Riku stayed calm as his eyes inspected everything in his sight.
From a distance away he saw a blue creature with its head above the water staring at Riku's direction. The saiyan arched an eyebrow, curious to see the blue man's full body. Lifting his palm, a small ki wave shot out towards the blue head. The attack wasn't meant to do harm, just make the creature leave the water. As the saiyan in black released the blast he heard the creature shout for Riku to silence his instrument, calling it a flute. The saiyan glared at the blue man and snickered, it was an ocarina, not a flute. Once the "fish" was out of water Riku would pace over to it and question it.

Marautis' attack connected, though swatted away it had indeed caught the attention of the still unknown boy, as intended. The figure of the boy would turn and return fire with his own ki blast, Marautis bobbed underwater momentarily in order to avoid being hit and resurfaced above the water immediately. The boy began to move towards Marautis, in response to this Marautis moved to the edge of the stream and climbed out effortlessly, bringing his full figure into view. He would then stand in waiting for his company to make their way to him. A slightly exasperated look stretched across their face would amuse Marautis. He liked annoying others. His energy sensing picked up the powerlevel of the boy as he approached, a fair bit higher than Marautis'. He had never been intimidated by others stronger than him; nothing had changed. The boy appeared saiyan in appearance to Marautis. Saiyans took to conflict rather willingly. Marautis wondered if this kid was any different; most likely not.
"Ahh that sounds so much better when you stop playing," Marautis snickered as the child approached, "I'm not one to judge though, never had much of ear for music."

Heavy Weights on- ¼ of 37784: 9446
Drake sat by the water, simply relaxing. For some reason, it seemed he could have some peace for once. No driving urge for power. Nothing making him- he froze as a large shape, something far larger than a fish tore through the river. His scouter showed a power level of around thirty thousand for a second before it disappeared. He stood up and shot off in the direction the river was going. In a few minutes he began to hear something odd. Some sort of tune, a nice melody. He frowned before he suddenly arrived at a fight.

The young warrior was flying over the islands, for the life of him he could not tell where he was, or really how to get to where he was going. Looking around at the ground, hoping to find something that would lead him to his destination, Edo found something far more... interesting to say the least. It was, for all intents and purposes a fish, arguing with what certainly appeared to be another saiyan, the first one he had seen on earth at that. Though he had no tail, the armor was a dead give away, matching his own only much darker and intact. The only other person of interest was another dark clothed man. While on first glance he wasn't all too interesting, it was only when Edo tried to sense all three of their power levels was he slightly shocked. Not only did the first two have much higher power levels than his own, he couldn't even sense the third one at all. Here the teen was a little torn, as much as he would like to talk to a fellow saiyan, despite how intimidating he seemed, the power levels down there made him feel that would be a bad idea. Though things seemed peaceful for now, Edo had no idea if or when that would change, and figured it best he hover nearby and scope things out.

((Thread PL: 257,745))I really shouldn’t be here, Zerori complained mentally, walking along the streets in a makeshift cloak. She’d materialized it from the conduit on her arm with the intent to keep herself somewhat unrecognizable. It did the job well, needing only to cover her neck and over her head in the shape of a hood to keep her face from being seen. Coming back to the capitol after the incident with the blatant destruction on her part was foolish but if there was any chance she’d run into Zinathra, she needed to find out. Arms crossed as she walked, passing by a woman that gave her a look of confusion, she would briefly glance back and forth to look through businesses. She muttered to herself, “She’s taken pains to stay out of my life for whatever reason, interfering only when it suited her… so why now?” It wouldn’t bode well in the least if she’d followed her to Earth either… “Maybe I should leave, after all,” Aside from frustration, which was a familiar annoying emotion, she was trying to swallow back sadness. She enjoyed Earth and it’s persistent men and charming women; the children were fun and playful and the animals didn’t seem to teem with blood lust. It was the closest thing to a paradise she’d ever found. Passing by the border of the water front, Zerori’s attention was drawn to a scene at the edge of the river, followed by the sound of music suddenly being cut off. Turning to it completely, she watched as they approached each other – if Zerori didn’t know any better she would have assumed they were old friends. Changing direction, she made her way closer to them, keeping out a sight to observe with a curious expression. Above, she could feel a presence much stronger than a normal human and glanced up to see a short haired boy. He didn’t interfere in the fight so she didn’t pay him any mind quite yet. Looking back down, she had to do a double take at the appearance of a new figure. He wasn’t there before and she was pretty certain she’d had seen him come up. Leaning against the wall, the cloaked Zerori would cross her arms while waiting to see how things panned out. If a fight broke out… she’d have something interesting to do today...

"Alright, so what's the big idea, blue guy? First off, you try to attack me with a little ki blast, and insult my music? What are, anyway?" Riku paced forward, inspecting this blue humanoid figure. He looked him up and down, he had the body of a human, but clearly he wasn't, what could he have been. Even so, Riku hoped for an apology to the rude interruption. Suddenly, the saiyan's scouter beeped and he noted three above average power levels. One above and two to his sides. His pupils moved, not turning his head to give away the fact he had found them. A black figure to his right and a hooded figure near him. The black figure's power level was slightly below ten thousand, nothing to worry about. The hooded figure made Riku's heart sink, a power level of over two hundred thousand!? The saiyan in black moved his pupils upward, wanting to forget he ever saw those numbers. Looking up Riku noticed a short haired boy, his appearance looked saiyan-like, and his power level was above fourteen thousand. Riku only hoped this blue man wasn't accompanied by these other three people, otherwise things would get hectic. The saiyan in black stayed calm and focused on the blue humanoid, awaiting his reply.

[Heavy Weights On] Base PL: 29,591 | Makyo Star/Thread PL: 236,728 | Weighted PL: 59,182
As much as Nabel hated the bustling hell-hole of a community that was South Capitol, the rest of the Southern Islands were probably his second-favorite region on planet Earth. And the soft patches of tall grass that he lay down on, in conjunction with the gleaming, blue surface of the clean, flowing river certainly seemed to support that sentiment. But with the Makyo Star currently active and sharing its power with the world's more demonic individuals, the demon couldn't help but feel like he was wasting away the opportunity to grow even stronger.
Even though he would have preferred to just keep idly napping in a remote corner of the world for the rest of his elongated lifetime, Nabel knew that he couldn't just shirk from his life like that. The young king had a pledge to keep, both to his last master, Lady Kiara, and to the people she had entrusted him with. And part of that responsibility was growing stronger, which looking at his track record, didn't seem to be an end that he had fulfilled. Still, the man barely had any rest away from the kingdom (not counting business trips and fund-raisers at least), so he really wanted to enjoy his free time here.
Imagine how pissed he was when a fight erupted not two hundred yards away from him. And oh fucking boy, they were loud. Still, if Nabel could just keep his eyes closed for a bit longer, he would have drifted off into the wonderful realm of sleep, and not hurt anyone along the way. After all, the fight was between two people of similar power levels; they would probably end the match with a draw and head to IHOP. That's how Nabel made his first friends, at the very least.
But then a drastically a lower leveled warrior entered the field, one that Nabel recognized. "Oh goddammit Edo." Nabel sighed, tossing his back around on the grassy ground. "It's okay, things can't get any worse." Things promptly got worse, as a warrior with a massive reserve of ki suddenly entered the picture. If that one fighter fought, all of them would be screwed.
"Damn it Jerry, don't do anything rash..." Nabel hissed underneath his breast, his brain willing him to keep his eyes shut and his feet planted on the ground, even as his entire body began drifting off the ground. "They'll be fine, they can just team up and-" The man's hopes exploded like Namek several months prior, suddenly and painfully. "FREEZUS FRIGGING CHRIST. They're still fighting. WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY STILL FIGHTING?!"
With an exasperated sigh, Nabel bashed his head against the mud in frustration. Groaning at another last chance at peace, the demon dashed towards the fight, his eye still closed, as he used his ki sensing to locate the strongest warrior on the field. With his boosted power, Nabel easily launched across the field. "Okay, we're just making sure that no one dies, alright?" He reminded himself quietly, as he opened a single eye-lid, and took a look at the possible threat, ignoring the morons fighting a few feet away from himself.
What Nabel saw wasn't really a shocker, because it was another goddamned... "Saiyan..." He said out loud, waving his only arm rapidly to grab the woman's attention. "Hi?"

"Alright, so what's the big idea, blue guy? First off, you try to attack me with a little ki blast, and insult my music? What are, anyway?"
"Hehe, I'm merely 'ribbing' you as you vile land lubbers like to say. You saiyans really seem easily wound up. Your music simply isn't to my taste. Don't take it too personally," Marautis cackled lightly, revealing a wry grin of pointed rows of teeth.
He noticed the arrival of many new power levels to the area. One hovered nearby, approximately 15,000. The second was unbelievably high, nearing 260,000, along the border of the river, it appeared accompanied by a power level of about 59,000. Another entity had arrived, appearing to have follow Marautis along the river, it's power level unreadable. He had only just noticed the new arrivals enter the area, there were some power levels far surpassing his that of his own, he had hoped that they came with good intentions, and weren't looking for trouble or anything of the sort.
"Friends of yours?" Marautis said quietly to the Saiyan man beside him as his head moved about locating the position of surrounding persons. He identified each one individually, 3 males and 1 female. "Let's hope they're friendly. Stay on your toes," He would chuckle before his tone shifted into a more serious demeanor. He readied his body and remained wary of the visitors to the scene.

Drake watched as soon a massive crowd was at the fight. He began to examine each fighter in detail. First was some sort of Saiyan. It was possible he wasn't, lacking the iconic tail, but the armor matched what he had previously seen in his database. He looked to have been playing an instrument before being interrupted by the fish creature. He groaned. Not the fish creature again. The second person was some species he wasn't sure about, and he didn't even know what to call it when he put it in his database. Fish person? Fish man? Whatever it was, it looked like he had grown much stronger. He was now around thirty thousand power level, still lower than Drake’s, but close enough. He seemed to be the initiator of the fight and seemed ready to fight. He had to watch out for him. The next denizen of the battle was yet another Saiyan. It appeared he actually had a tail, which Drake felt good about because it proved he didn't put the fact that Saiyans are tailed for no reason. They hovered above the fight, not doing anything currently but still dangerous. Forgetting themselves in the tide of battle, someone could easily be surprised by an aerial attack. Besides just reminding himself to watch him however, he didn't place much warning considering the fifteen thousand power level. Then came someone he truly knew. That had been one of the Saiyans he had stalk- followed. He was still confused why he had been so obsessed with the tails, but it was apparent it didn't affect him now. Her power level was massive, and could easily take all of them out with a massive shot if needed. Drake was worried about that end. Drake was relieved to know that there atleast wasn't another powerful fighter, but then much to his surprise came yet another one. He recognized him now, having fought him before. But he had grown to a massive sixy thousand and it seemed he had more power hidden. It was apparent that that side was the one to watch for.

This was starting out like the beginning of a bad joke, as there were now six people including himself. To his relief though, Edo noticed a familiar power, albeit incredibly higher. He looked and saw Jerry flying towards the possibly soon to be scuffle. "Oh cool, Jerry's here." the teen found himself thinking aloud. He was considering calling out to him, seeming to forget that there was a fight brewing. Then he froze, how did he not notice this before. From above, all Edo could see was a cloak, belonging to the undoubtedly highest power level he had ever sensed in his life. What was he supposed to do now? If this person fought, it would be horrendous to say the least. Too wary to land, but too interested to fly away, the young hybrid decided to compromise. He knew Jerry, at least enough to feel like he'd be safer with him. With that in mind, he landed near him, still a little too shaken to say anything. Technically he was probably better off staying put in the air, but he knew that would draw attention to himself, if he hadn't already. He did feel a little frustrated with himself for not trying to get in on this, in fact so much so his eyes began to sting a little bit. He knew he was the lowest power level here, but as much as it angered him, the largest one scared him out of making his own move. Still, he had to do his best to hide that fear, letting only a single shudder escape him.

It was interesting to see so many seem to appear, though it didn’t surprise her that they were disturbed by the sound of a fight. Resting as she watched, she noticed that some had turned to her and she brought a hand to her face, “Hiding, yeah. With my power, I forgot that’s impossible…” She didn’t know how much power she had since she’d not measured her degrees in some time, but if some of the fearful expressions were anything to go by – she was a match. At the greeting of a male with horns upon his head, face half way covered with some sort of sheet, she raised her hand in a flat palm. “Yo,” was all she said simply. She didn’t want them to think she was a threat but also keep her distance in case they recognized her. She tilted her hooded head at the garbed warrior, “Are these friends of yours?” Keeping her head low as she spoke, she would walk towards them with her arms crossed. The blue-skinned fish seemed to be either joking around or asking for trouble criticizing the saiyan boy’s choice of music. At the intensity of the situation, Zerori felt a pang of annoyance when it felt like everyone was waiting for the other to move. With a shrug, she walked past the two arguing bodies – greeting them simply with a wave – before coming to a hand rail just off the edge of the river. Raising her hand, she watched the waters for a moment – her blue eyes keep on catching sight of movement before she snapped her fingers. Little did she not realize that the influence of the awkwardness and intensity had affected her power, making the water explode upwards and outwards like a bomb had gone off in the water. The saiyaness stilled, her face a deadpanned expression as gallons of water rained down upon the group from her explosion and she swallowed finally when the water seemed to settle. What had only meant to be a small spark to kill a fish… literally blew up in her face, most likely catching more attention. Staycalm, Stay. Calm, Zerori tried to tell herself, flushed from the embarrassing moment. Turning around, she did her best to play it off. “So,” She began, clearing her throat when it sounded just a bit to stuttered for her liking, ”We all cooled off now?” She hoped they didn’t catch the redness beneath the hood…

Heads up! I wrote the bulk of this after some stuff happened. So I couldn't be bothered to edit all of it. I probably will scum out a significant chunk of the unnecessary details when I wake up tomorrow, but for now, eight hundred word post. It'll drop down to <600 words soon, promise! Just need to get in the mood for that. And it's done, mostly. I might edit it a bit more later. Ah, and since I messed up the turn order (sorry about that)?I guess that means Riku goes up next.
Nabel gave off a tiny, toothy smirk, chuckling a fair bit from the woman's inquiry, as it also seemed like most everyone was asking each other (and themselves) the same thing. Of course, that really wasn't the issue right now. From the looks of it, it was just an unlikely, and exceedingly awkward encounter between a group of reasonably powerful strangers. "Nah, I don't associate with any of these people. Well except for Edoma here." Nabel gave his first answer, trying his best to maintain his stoic tone.. "They're mostly just dudes I beat up before, I think." The demon flashed Drake a knowing smile, before turning his attention back at the girl. "Well, except for the fish guy. I'm not really sure who he is." His voice cracked up noticeably, as a tiny hint of a cackle could be heard in his tone. It didn't seem like he was fully awake or fully sober yet. "Speaking of Edoma..." Grinning a bit, the demon turned his sights towards the younger Saiyan, who seemed to drift by a bit closer to him. Which was ideal, if not a bit silly to watch. "Just what the home are you doing here, kid?" Nabel raised his voice while addressing the younger man, before groaning in frustration. "You can sense power levels, right?" He added coolly, and showcased his. "You could've gotten really hurt, you know? And I wouldn't even know, because I was napping."Mere moments later, Nabel's attempt at remaining professional didn't stop him from cracking a small chuckle, when the female Saiyan (?) accidentally blew up a section of the river, and tried to pass it off as an awkward joke to prevent further embarrassment. But it was to be a complete slip-up, as even Nabel couldn't have expected the sudden surge of power that emanated from the lass, during the very moment that she sent that out that blast of energy. And through all of that, she was still clumsy as crap. Which Nabel found to be honest-to-god adorable. "Oh, you're just the cutest thing ever!" The demon blurted out cheerily, before realizing the full weight that his statement may have carried. Now just as red-faced as the powerful stranger, Nabel smacked his own forehead in shame. "That was a slip of the tongue. Can we all pretend that I didn't say that? Okay? Good." The demon sighed. "I'm sorry for that, strong fight-y lady. Did not mean to say that out loud." He chuckled a bit, nervously adjusting his non-existent collar. "I'm a bit tipsy and upset from being waken up from my nap."

Riku simply continued to eye the blue fish man in front of him, yet his ears were open to what the rest of these strangers were doing. They all simply stood, clearly attracted by the commotion he and the blue humanoid had made. However, Riku's curiosity grew as the blue man responded by saying he wasn't associated with any of these people, then taking a defensive stance. Riku turned, his attention shifting towards the rest. Oddly, it seemed as though Riku and the strange blue humanoid would be fighting together if it came to that, seeing as how they were now side by side facing these strangers. As he inspected them, he noticed a strange creature who had just arrived... something dastardly evil was sensed from him... The saiyan then looked at the hooded figure, suddenly an explosion of water coming onto the group.
"Alright, so you got our attention, miss. Seems like we don't need to fight, but may I ask, who all of you are. Especially you, hoodie, and you, fish boy."
