Appearance: A fairly tall young man with pitch black eyes which is actually a "mutation" in his genes, a spikey and long type of hairstyle that is also a deep black as though dyed but apparently natural. A fit structure with muscular arms. A very sinister and wide smile. He wears black saiyan armor that he was given when he was in training.
History: Riku was an abandoned child, orphaned so to speak, left at his birth. Although a Saiyan, originally meant to be birthed on Planet Vegeta, he was birthed on Earth, by two fugitive Saiyans that had escaped the planet long ago. They hid themselves there, and one day his mother and father had relations and Riku came to be. On the day of his birth however, his parents learned of other Saiyans inhabiting the planet, in search of fugitives, and in that instance his father, a skilled warrior of the elite class, who had helped conquer fair amounts of planets, and had learned the great skill of teleporting decided to teleport him and Riku to a distant area of Earth, almost completely burdened it seemed. There his father placed him, he looked at his newborn and began to cry as he knew what he was doing was horrible. He sobbed as he caressed Rikus scarred cheek.
"Son...I'm sorry for what me and your mother are doing...just know, we love you and we wish we could watch you grow up into a young man, but it's not going to be possible. I hope one day...we will meet in otherworld... Goodbye my son and bring glory to your Saiyan race...and to us."
With those words his father stood and teleported back to his mother where she was being attacked by various other Saiyans and sadly was killed in front of his father's eyes. His father unleashed a huge fury of pure rage and managed to annihilate most of the Saiyans, but he was severely injured and he still had more foes to face. He gave one last attempt, in order to protect the planet from these Saiyans. He decided to use a self destruct move that cause his surroundings fatal damage and killed him in the process.
Riku spent hours left there in that deserted area all alone with no shelter or food or water. He cried continuously as a newborn would and finally, after many hours, there was a small family of three passing by the area. They approached the newborn Saiyan and one of the figures carried it in its arms and they took off and they reached a hidden area, what seemed to be like another deserted wasteland hidden between two large trees and a line of tall bushes. Then, the floor suddenly began to open as the tallest figure pressed a button on the ground. A cave structure opened up and the three figures walked in with Riku. Inside they descended a flight of stairs, a long flight of stairs. They opened another door and the stairs seemed to have retracted, and so had the cave structure outside. Through the door a huge, and yes, HUGE, room was seen. It was almost the size of a mansion, maybe even larger. Many doors were connected to this one room, which seemed to be the living room. The figures, who were dressed in scarves covering their mouth and head gear, unmasked and took the gear off, revealing that they were three different races. One was a human, a normal inhabitant of Earth, nothing unusual about her. The tallest one was a green skinned man, a Namekian, inhabitants of Namek, which was a rare sight on Earth. The one holding Riku was another human, a scientist it seems.He placed Riku on a couch and turned to the others and they discussed why there was abandoned newborn in the middle of nowhere. From that point on, they raised little Riku as their own.
At the age of 8 Riku was taught many things by the human scientist, who was incredibly well educated on the galaxies. The Namekian tought Riku about the great wonders of his people and his home Namek. The human, who seemed like the fighter of the trio taught Riku a variety of martial arts and trained him daily.
Years later, when Riku turned 15, a tragedy fell upon him and his care takers. One day a group of humans, from the appearance they were of the military, discovered their home and broke in, the Namekian heard them from outside thanks to his good hearing and warned the others. The human put on armor he wore in battle and fitted some on Riku, who fit nicely into them. The scientist, standing in the back of the room called for Riku and Riku rushed to him.
"We mustn't delay, Riku, we need to leave and quick. We don't have time to leave through the escape route, they most likely have us cornered... I need to get us out of here."
Before they noticed, troops of humans bursted through the door and surrounded all of them, some bearing guns, others armless. The human that had trained Riku stood in the middle of the room and looked around, as if wondering who they would attack first. Suddenly, a trooper that was unarmed dashed at him. With ease he punched him away, leaving him unconscious. Then, all the troopers charged at the one human. The scientist yelled for the human to join them but no response came. A few minutes passed with all the fighting, and Riku stood with the Namekian and the scientist waiting for his teacher to join them and occasionally knocking out anyone who attacked them. The troopers stopped attacking and turned to them. Riku snarled at them in fighting stance yet wondering why they stopped, the he noticed someone on the floor, in the middle of several unconscious troops, his teacher... Dead. Riku growled and tried to attack but the scientist grabbed him and they dashed to the back and jumped into a hover car and they hit the pedal and soared off and out of sight.
They reappeared in what seemed like a lab room, apparently the spare lab, across the globe from the original. Riku howled in frustration, his tail moving vigorously as he snarled wanting to go back and slaughter the troops. The scientist looked at his tail, which he had thought he had cut off long ago. The Namekian quickly cut it off and Riku howled louder and turned to the Namekian with anger. Riku then calmed down, knowing the reason he did it. He fell to the floor and sobbed continuously, like he did as a newborn. The scientist told him that he had to know the truth about their little group. Kio, the scientist was a wanted man for holding a fugitive Namekian specimen, Ryuuk. As for their dead friend, he was named Dyok, and he slaughtered countless human forces in order to defend Ryuuk and Kio. However, the forces weren't ordinary, it was a force called the Blue Banner Army... From Kio's explanation it seemed that army was made of robots... Humans... Tin cans... Who the hell knows what else. They basically just got Riku into their mess, but he didn't care, Riku still found them as family. As for the lab, Kio explained that he was trying to see if he could design a Bio-Android or something, a machine that took the cells of other specimen. Riku sighed and nodded, still in shock of what had occurred. To make matters worse, Kio had confessed he had betrayed the Blue Banner Army a bit after their creation.
Seven months passed leading to this day. Riku is now 16, he has trained all throughout these seven months wanting vengeance against the organization that killed his teacher. The scientist decided to teach him a skill that was not as important as what Aiku taught him but it was useful, it was Ki Suppression, where one suppressed their power level to matchsomeon or to keep themself from detection. Kio also told him that from his mutated eyes, it made Riku seem like some sort of devil and Riku thought back about Aiku and how he called him "Void' because his eyes seemed like an endless void of darkness. Kio also re-explained Riku's saiyan heritage, explaining that his tail may grow back somehow, and if it happened he should cut it off immediately. Ryuuk has been traveling for a year now in search of something unknown, and Riku has decided that for him and his "family" he will avenge his teacher, and make the world a better place.
