KEY "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
CONTEMPLATIONS OF THE WORLD TREE Capper watched in mild interest and amusement as the tiny dolls brawled. Capper shuddered a little when the doll lost animation and fell from the skies, using a much more powerful Kihoko. So if the user of the attack put too much Ki into it, they would die? Ouch. Maybe it was best NOT to let his mom know about this attack- as reckless and violent as she was, Capper... didn't want anything to happen to his dear mother. Memories of his mother rushing to his defense whenever he was in trouble prodded his mind, causing the saiyan to stare off to the side at nothing in particular longingly... And then there was his dad, who would listen to the small mechanic vent with open ears, always at the ready to help his mother dish out some damage to anyone that dared cross the weakest Hofferson. Sighing and shaking his head, Capper was snapped back to reality when Cerci addressed him.
Sighing with that glum expression once more, the saiyan lowered his chin onto the table, his tail limp behind him. She was right- most Earthlings just didn't seem to want to forgive the Solar Empire for their sins. Capper wanted to show that they weren't all bad- even though he knew most saiyans were warmongering, arrogant and cocky clods. But the Hofferson family as a whole were oddballs that acutually cared about each other. They seemed to be some of the few that knew there was strength in numbers and caring for others. Giving a quick slow nod when the mentioned this unwillingness to forgive ruining people, the saiyan mechanic spoke once more. "Yeah, it's a bummer. Sure, I know and acknowledge all the... damage and death they and I caused. But we lost, and you won. It's over. No use crying over spilled milk, right?" The saiyan spoke, rolling his half-closed eyes with a shrug. He was stupid, thinking he could be normal by tagging along for the Invasion. Now look where he was because of it. Stranded, but... oddly happy and content at the same time. Earth had changed Capper, and he could only hope for the best for the planet's future
Off of that rather depressing topic, Capper just gave a quick nod with a faint smile when the woman mentioned that he would get along well with her friend- he wasn't sure who this mystery friend was, though. Soon enough, another power above the group registered on Capper's scouter. Mindly flinching at the sight of the dog to the saiyan's cat, an Arcosian, Capper's pupils shrank a little. No! He had to be nice! Retsu, the only other Arcosian Capper had ever met was nice too, so he had to give this black and blue stranger a chance too, despite his fears. Shaking his head and calming back down somewhat, Capper eyed Tekuma as she went on about Walker being this "Crane Master," although that "If" instead of a more certain way of saying it- Capper still felt like the girl doubted that Walker was the Crane Master. Sighing once more, Capper raised a brow when the Arcosian mentioned something about a wish? Tearing himself away from his snacks for a moment, the saiyan chugged the remainded or his drink before wiping his mouth, raising a tilted head and speaking to the arocsian and tall tree man. "Wish?" Capper inquired, raising a brow. Was there some kind of wish granting genie or something here on Earth? It wouldn't be too far of a stretch for the peg-legged saiyan to believe with everything he's seen on Earth so far.

He felt the power arriving before the shout, and winced slightly. He had been hoping to avoid the others for now, but it seemed like that wasn't an option. Looking up, he waved slightly. "Hello Defrosch. I am... adequate. The results of the wish have left me with several questions, and concerns over how my thoughts may have been influenced in the past few months. Comparing who I was before the events of Kanassa and who I was before the wish.... They seem incredibly distinct." Sighing, he folded his legs, sitting in the air.
Glancing at Tekuma, who was now seemingly rather embarrassed, he nodded slightly. "I see. Well, we shall have to speak further. While I do intend for the Crane style to be spread further, I do not intend to give it's secrets out to just anyone." He was uncertain whether he trusted this Tekuma. She seemed a bit unstable last time he saw her, and now she was a robot? He knew very little about her, but he supposed that it was possible she could be a good candidate.
Turning to Capper, he nodded. "Oh indeed, a wish. Earth, up until very recently, possessed 7 orbs capable of granting wishes." Pausing, he tilted his head back and forth. "Actually... let me put it like this." Raising his hands, swirls of energy began forming from the ground. "Behold my memories, ye children of Earth, Arcose and Vegeta. Behold the last wish of the Dragon Balls of Earth." With a sudden glow, something flew from his eyes, and the area around them changed. The 5 of them were floating just above the Lookout, as 7 orbs suddenly rose into the air. Celmaru, Vipoi, Zuccetta, Maeve, Bing, and all the other participants of the wishing ceremony were there, as with a flash of light, the sky darkened.
From the orbs rose the massive dragon Shenron, his coils filling the sky and voice booming. Walker sat still, eyes closed, as he maintained the illusion, showing those there unfamiliar a moment all to fresh in his mind.
((Gotcha.)) ((Additional edit: In case it wasn't clear from the Gotcha, I took a sentence out of context to mess with someone. If there was an actual DE transition, I would say it in post.))

Adequate? That wasn't a word people normally used to describe how they were feeling... Granted, Walker wasn't exactly the most ordinary person one could run into. Defrosch raised a brow in curiosity, he could say the same of himself; the wish was in many ways quite broad. It was meant to reverse the damage done by the Tree Of Might as well as revive and heal those ruined or harmed by its use... To that end, it surely must've had some impact on those that were alive. Defrosch had felt some form of freedom when Shenron's magic was cast, but he didn't react as wildly as Walker did. The situation regarding the Tree Of Might was a small part of the Arcosian's life after all.
Defrosch hypothesized that Walker was far more emotional than he freely admitted as he had intended on blowing Vegeta into space dust, or... "Hey Walker, I don't mean to be rude, but... How old are you, exactly?" Perhaps the bio-golem wasn't as old as his extended vocabulary made him seem. Several odd behaviors that Defrosch had observed during their chance encounters in the past only furthered his suspicions that Walker might only have the mental capacity of someone around twenty, as opposed to actual years of experience... It would really explain quite a lot.
While Defrosch was ready to explain what he meant to the little Saiyan, Walker did have a much more direct way of explaining it; a projection from his memories. "Huh. Show, not tell. Neat." Cerci eyed the display with curiosity. She saw the ceremony take place from a distance while traversing Fukurou Forest and generally knew about what had transpired. What she was more interested in was the memory projection technique itself... Maybe she could pick up a trick like that sometime. "B'fore anyone panics, no, we're not actually floatin' in mid air." Juuuust in case, she once again moved the mystical barf-bag towards Capper.

The events unfolding in her eyes as she was suddenly dropped into the memory. The android felt a massive amount of magic from both Walker, the memory projection, and the voice of Cerci spoke along with Defrosch. "G..GGghhh... All the magic is sending my sensors into overload!" Her eye was twitching as the stood; refusing to let herself be shown weak in front of the Crane Master.
She shoved the pain to the back of her mind to deal with later, witnessing the dragon appearing before her eyes. "I knew those were magic wish-granting orbs.. So there's seven.. I wonder if there are any on other planets.." Looking at the great green beast and down below at the memory version of Walker, thoughts of reviving her parents if she got ahold of a set of any of them, no matter the planet. "Cool.."

KEY "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
CONTEMPLATIONS OF THE WORLD TREE Capper's pupils shrank when he saw the ground disappear below him, and let out a quick yelp as her found himself dangling in the air. What was going on?! Capper was not a fan of heights, and he still felt a little sick to his stomach from his flighty trip to the floating landmass in the first place. Shaking his head as his face turned a little blue, the saiyan peered up to see the others still nearby. Cerci said that they weren't actually floating in the air, but it sure seemed like they were! WHERE, pray tell, was the ground if they weren't floating?! Pushing away the barf bag that Cerci sneaked over despite his better judgement, Capper was momentarily teared away from his air sickness when the skies darkened.
Looking up at the swirling clouds, the saiyan flinched when a column of light shot up into the air, churning and twisting about like some kind of snake. The light split of the creature summoned, revealing a giant green dragon! The red-eyed snakelike beast lowered it's mighty head, voice booming as if it were speaking through at least ten megaphones. Capper looked up in awe at the wish-granting reptile, eyeing it's rather clunky and restricted movements that just didn't seem organic or natural- it was like it was just straining itself to be there... Due to his wooziness, Capper... couldn't quite make out what the beast was saying. Shaking his head and trying to regain his focus, Capper looked right into the colossal dragon's eyes. This giant dragon could grant wishes? Really?!... Well, if he could get a wish, Capper figured that getting taller or even older and stronger without the need for training or waiting for his growth spurt would be perfect!

After a moment, the illusion began to fade, Walker dismissing the memory. "Hmm?" Defrosch had just asked his age. "Well, let's see.. I was asleep for several months, hibernating almost. If we count the time before and after that... about a year, now." Yes, that seemed about right. He had been created a mere week or so before he met Scargot, after all. It had certainly been an interesting year, though. For a moment, he contemplated this fact, before a noise broke his reverie.
Turning to Tekuma, he frowned. Magic was sending her sensors into overload? How odd. "Yes, there was seven. Now, however, they no longer exist. No other planets we know of have the Dragonballs, however." Tapping his fingers, he looked up, considering. "They do have some limits, however. If I recall, natural causes killing a person means they can't be revived." Glancing over at her again, he tilted his head. She certainly was an odd one, wasn't she?
Dusting his hands off, the tree looked around. "Well, anyway, little point in wondering about them now. They're gone, after all, and no more wishes can be made." Sitting down again, he looked around. "Apologies if that startled anyone, but it seemed a bit more useful than just telling a story." Patting his robes, he picked up his teacup and took a slow sip. Although he felt calm enough, he was aware that Defrosch had asked a question for a reason. He needed to find somewhere to think about recent events.

Defrosch was a man that liked to consider the possibilities, but even that didn't prepare him for one of his more bizarre theories to be correct. Walker was a unique befuddling mixture of essences, much like any bio-android would be, but he was a touch more odd even still; having experienced the tree-man's presence multiple times now, Defrosch got the sense that the connection was a little less... Scientific; and if the people that Walker had surrounded himself with, as well as his more mystical inclinations were to be any indication? He wasn't a creature spawned by modern science. He couldn't be.
"W-well, thats... Certainly news." The Arcosian wasn't exactly sure where to take it from there, as he didn't want to bring up things that might make Walker upset. Defrosch was now considering that past events might've gone differently if people knew more about Walker, if they were slightly more curious instead of just assuming things... If people knew how old he really was, how little practical experience he really had, what might have happened?
Would he have been reprimanded even more, or coddled to the point of annoyance? Defrosch had no way of knowing for certain.
"However, maybe... Maybe people would be more understanding of you if they knew that? It seems pretty important given how you conduct yourself as if you were more my age. People might get confused, and communication is key, among friends especially." Defrosch would've recounted the events in which he and Walker figured out the mystery behind Helix's disappearance, but Cerci had to step in and give Defrosch a cheeky grin. "Wow, every time you give someone a pep-talk you sound like a dad."
The Arcosian was immediately flustered, losing his more important train of thought. "Wha- hey, Cerci. Cerci no."
Unfortunately, Cerci's grin remained as it was, she didn't even need to vocalize what it obviously meant, and it meant 'Cerci yes.'

Tekuma was looking around curiously as the vision faded, subconsciously sipping the tea that made her stomach feel rather warm. "Hmm." She mused; watching the illusion around her and the others fade away but caused her to giggle when she was reminded of Capper's current terror. "Pffffffft." Trying not to laugh, she shut up immediately when the android remembered she was in the presence of the Crane Master.
The interactions between Defrosch and Cerci garnered some amusement from the cyborg; the woman's grin making her put a hand to her mouth to stifle the laughter. Slowly calming, she turned her full attention to Walker. A weird chill ran down her spine when he spoke of natural causes killing someone meaning they couldn't be revived. But.. they weren't killed naturally, you would know. The redhead kept the snarky thought to herself; realizing how disrespectful it was so she tried to shut up.

KEY "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
CONTEMPLATIONS OF THE WORLD TREE
Glancing back upwards, Capper would give Tekuma a look of death while he regained his footing. He could make out her stifled laugh, and the little saiyan was less than pleased. A single tear trickled down his cheek from being mocked and not being able to do anything about it, but the android was quick to shut her trap when remembering the authroity of the bio-android nearby. Silently sticking his tongue out to his adversary, Capper quickly took a heavy breath in when his surroundings changed back to normal with the illusion's disappearance. Falling to his knees and gripping his suffering stomach, Capper quickly forced himself back to his feet, his tail whipping around behind him in dismay.
Standing somewhats slumped over as he regained his vigor, Capper turned his attention back to the conversation at hand. In response to the Arcosian's question about Walker's age, Capper was shocked to hear that he was only about a year old! Raising a brow, Capper listened as Defrosch spoke back to Walker, speaking of how communication was key among friends. Recalling his family, the little saiyan mechanic remembered all the times he just gushed and let his emotions and thoughts out onto his father, one of the only people willing to listen to Capper's plights in the past. He kept secrets from his families for awhile, like one time when a group of rowdy saiyans continued to beat him up while he was making trips to and from some stores to bring back supplies to his home. He was pounded down for so long, but when his mother found out, Capper had nothing more to worry about when she... personally made sure that the bullies would never pick at the weakest Hofferson again.
"...Listen to the Arcosian about that whole communication thing." Capper spoke in solemn, somewhat longing tune now that he had recovered from his "air sickness." Looking up at the sky above, the saiyan boy spoke once more. "Just... trust me. Communication is important. Not knowing even the littlest of things can make a huge difference. Still, you seem nice, you might slip once or twice, but who am I to judge or blame? I'm just a weak, low class commoner saiyan."
Climbing back atop his seat, Capper would frown when Walker said that there were none of these "Dragonballs" in existence anymore. His hopes of getting taller were dashed, just like that. Frowning with a furrowed brow, Capper figured he would just have to wait for his growth spurt to kick in- if it ever did kick in. A look of worry and wrought flashed across the saiyan's face. What if... what if he never did hit his growth spurt? Would he be stuck as a midget his entire life?! Giving Defrosch his trademark smug expression when Cerci stepped in with her own remark. But as Walker said, there was little point in wondering about them or dreaming of wishes now that they were gone. Sighing, Capper would simply stare off at nothing in particular, having lost his appetite with the whole dizzying illusion thing.

The tree hummed non-committally. He was not so dense that he did not see where Defrosch was going with this. He was quite young, but his mind functioned on an entirely mature level. He had not had an infancy, or a childhood as most did. Although, he did wonder if that had some other effects. Thinking about it, many Bio-Androids he had encountered seemed... rather unstable. Did being created in the prime of life have some sort of emotional influence, one he had not accounted for, all this time. That was troubling at best. He would have considered further, but Cerci's comment caused him to chuckle.
"I think you would make a good father, Defrosch, should you ever decide to have children."
Glancing over at Tekuma, he sent a single thought to her. Separate from the rest of the conversation, his telepathy delivered a single word. "I am aware of how your parents died. I saw how you went for Plato, after all. Still, I do not know how they may be revived. I wish you luck, but as of now, the Dragonballs of Earth cannot help you any longer. If you truly desire them back, it may be better to journey to the Afterlife and attempt to bargain for their return, or escape with them in tow. It is how I returned from the clutch of death."
Taking a sip of tea, he focused on Capper, listening to the young Saiyan's words in silence. When he finished, the tree nodded once. "Weak, yes. Low class, commoner, these words mean nothing if you do not let them. Power does not make one right, merely give one the ability to fight for their ideal. Believing that might is right is the creed of tyrants and pretender-gods, and believe me..." His eye flashed slightly, a memory making it's way across his mind. "I have little love for such people, and a score of graves prepared for those who would ascend such thrones." Leaning closer to the young Saiyan, he reached out slowly, attempting to ruffle his hair, and chuckled. "I consider your input just as valid as my friends. You speak with wisdom for your age." It was one of the more insightful things he had ever heard from a Saiyan of the SSE. It was a rare thing, but Walker was impressed. As he turned back, he calmly flicked a finger, a small cup appearing near Capper.
In the cup was a steaming, herbal tea, and on it was a small sticker, bearing the message "Herbal Stomach-Sickness Remedy." and a small, winking Walker face with a thumbs up. He had no desire to have his guests feel ill, and if there was anything Walker knew well... it was tea.

Cerci's grin widened as Walker essentially confirmed that he was of similar opinion regarding Defrosch's ability to be a good parent. "Seee, tooold yoouuuu~" She would playfully chant.
Defrosch on the other hand quickly looked between them, flabbergasted and lost for words... Just what did he do to deserve this? "Wh-- Ju- h-- Don't encourage her, dude come oonnn!" The Arcosian slumped forward, a short sigh escaping him as he quickly realized that they were, quite simply, just making a joke and having fun... At which point he also let out a hearty laugh as he straightened out his posture. "Well... I can say that I appreciate the sentiment. The fact that you would speak highly of me in such a regard... It actually means a lot. Thank you. Just think about what I said, yeah?" Of course, Defrosch was still concerned, he knew Walker was at least smart enough to at least consider a multitude of variables.
At some point Cerci had once again moved the Magic Barf Bag closer to Capper, but not right up to him. The young Saiyan was stubborn still, but if he was going to puke he might as well have the right supplies.
"People really need to stop putting so much value on titles and labels." Capper's subscription to the typical Saiyan mindset was something Defrosch wouldn't even pretend to understand; for he didn't understand nor did he wish to abide by the Arcosian dogma. "It's unhealthy. You risk losing sight of yourself-- or risk losing the opportunity to figure yourself out to begin with. If we're dealing with that sort of thing; I'm an upper-middle class Arcosian born on the tailcoats of royalty, but who cares? Its irrelevant; it isn't me, nor is it what I will choose to be. I'm just Defrosch, a simple man trying to make his way in the universe." Defrosch shrugged, Capper seemed clever enough himself-- he would likely understand, if not find it weird coming from an Arcosian at first.
"Ehhh..." Cerci quirked an eyebrow as she also entered the conversation. "I wouldn't say 'simple' but I get what you mean."

Tekuma watched as everything happened around her, Walker having faith in the Arcosian to be.. a father? Curious, she opened her mouth to speak only to have Walker talking to her. To this day she was still frustrated he could read her mind somehow. What he said put a brilliant yet also incredibly stupid idea in her head, and a dark grin spread across her lips. "So, go to the afterlife and get my parents out of there? That's a brilliant idea."
Lifting into the air, she put a salute with her left hand to the tree. "I'm going to find my parents, perhaps on my journey I may gain the wisdom to train under you one day. Until we meet again, I will hone my abilities." With that, the cyborg took off into the air and away. Where she was going was to get murdered so she could go to the afterlife. Little did she know, she didn't know at all she'd have no body.
