(Note: Walker's in a funny mood, so being flat-out dumb might well irritate him at the moment.) Thread PL: 308,754 (x33 Perm. Active)
In the large garden of the Cathedral Verdant, a chair sat. Not a throne, mind, but a simple chair. Upon that chair sat the still form of Walker, staring into space, considering all that had occurred. He was feeling a bit empty, to be perfectly honest. It seemed as though his life recently had taken quite the dark turn. What was really needed, now, was something to pull him out of this funk.

[Cerci's Thread PL: 58,862] [UT] Ki Suppression Active! Ki suppressed to 10!
"Hey, Defrosch, its Cerci-- I'm checking out some rumors regarding another mystical floating fortress. I reckon I'm close, but if you're interested just search for my ki, okay, toodles~" Flying through the sky, was Cerci Garyl. Excited to once again be out on the field after a short break to do family things, she scanned he horizon for any abnormalities, periodically focusing her ki sense in various directions before managing to pinpoint something stationary far up in the sky... 'Wowzers, looks like they were right this time. Curiosity, don't fail me now!' She swung a hair pin turn as she flew gracefully towards the mysterious structure, giving it a good look before landing in one of the outer patches of grass that looked to be landing pads of some kind. "Hooey, now this is stylish!" Cerci whistled in appreciation of the very Eco-friendly decor. This place was magical, for sure!
Gonna give Cerci some time to shine, Defrosch will arrive shortly himself.

Tekuma was floating upside down doing really nothing in particular, spreading her ki sense wide to search for not only ki, but magic. Back at her BBA bunker she'd amassed quite a pile of magic artifacts under a loose tile, hoping to keep them from their magic-hunting leader Virtual Poi. By the time she got back for all she knew, the hybrid likely would have lost her collection to the larger one of the Azure Administrator.
Picking up on a rather large ki almost surrounded by magic, curiosity cooked the cat and the female went to investigate. Floating close by, the Cathedral hovered in the sky before her, coupled with the tree men in the square below around a large one in particular, which was sitting in a throne and staring at.. nothing? Slowly descending onto the grass, the female noticed a woman having landed close by to her.
"Oh. Hello there miss. You come to investigate the magic source as well? Wonder what he's doing staring into infinity like that." Scratching her head with the metallic arm, she'd slowly walk closer to Walker. "Hey, is everything alright..?" Asked the cyborg curiously, her metallic parts giving off a certain gleam.

KEY "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
CONTEMPLATIONS OF THE WORLD TREE Capper stood below the Cathedral Verdant, arms crossed and tail swinging to and fro as he looked up at the strange structure. Putting a hand on his chin, Capper could only ponder what the heck was on that giant floating piece of land. Magic had to be at play here- something Capper did not understand whatsoever. But he had been on a pretty great winning streak so far, and the saiyan decided to throw caution to the wind today. Back when he first landed on the Earth, Capper was not a risk taker. Thanks to his friends opening him up a little and ending his grudge on the Earthlings, the saiyan began to take chances. First that adventure that ended not-so-well in the catacombs under Ginger Town, and then the somewhat more successful adventure with Chronos- a mighty dragon that had his family stripped away from him. Adventure surely called on this oh so tantalizingly close floating landmass! But how would he ever get up there without the ability to fly? He left his ship back at home... Capper turned around, eyeing his faithful robot companion, Alpha, as he floated around in the air using his propulsion jets... Hm............................................................................................................................."aaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaa"
A blue and green blur would whoosh outside of the cathedral door near Walker, Cerci, and Tekuma with a high-pitched scream. Capper had been clutching onto Alpha for dear life, using the flying drone to get up to the cathedral. But his command to the robot of "full thrust" had... been a little exaggerated, to say the least. Finally running out of jet fuel, the droid's jets sputtered and stopped, causing the saiyan and robot to crash into the ground! Rolling on the ground while still hanging onto Alpha, the saiyan cane to a halt on the ground, curled up somewhat as he shivered, clutching onto the robot for dear life still. Capper tried to stand up, but fell back to the ground after a few mistmatched, dizzy steps. The saiyan's eyes were nothing but swirls now as he fell back to the ground, still dizzy from his little test flight. "UuuuUUUuugggGGghhhh..." Capper moaned as he lied dazed on the ground. His vision swirling, Capper could just barely make out his Scouter- which was not broken somehow- registering three nearby powers.

After a long, long moment, the tree stirred. He was feeling a bit dazed, but it seemed he had guests, invited or otherwise. He processed the site of one unknown being, and the metallic gleam of Tekuma's new parts. A second later, a small Saiyan came rocketing up on a robot of some kind. He had a rather low power level, honestly.
His feet slid slowly outward, and in one long motion, he rose from the chair, moving in a manner that quite clearly indicated bones and spinal cords were a problem Walker did not need to worry about. Turning, he surveyed the trio around him. The Bio-Golem's power level remained steady. It was not flaring, but anyone with the ability to measure such strength would see that it was over 10,000,000.
Folding his arms behind his back, the tree stared down at the new arrivals, eyes flickering slightly with their typical purple glow. His tail rose up, and pointed at the ground. Out of the grass rose wooden pillars, the tops widening and merging until a table had risen from the earth. Falling to a sitting position with a thump, Walker gestured at the table, which was suddenly populated through no apparent means other than magic. "Well, it seems I have guests. How may I assist you, and additionally, would you like some tea or other refreshments?"
He could hardly be a bad host merely because of his own questionable mood. Still, it was a valid issue that he may be unable to truly contemplate in a place where he was so well known. Perhaps it would be a good idea to take that trip he had been planning. For now though, to deal with those who had visited. "Tekuma I know. Might I inquire as to the names of the two of you?" His voice was, in truth, rather silent despite it's deep booming quality. An odd quirk of speaking entirely through telepathy. He glanced back and forth between the small, rather adorable looking Saiyan, and Cerci, awaiting a response from the pair.

Cerci waved to the ginger cyborg, giving her a smile. "That I am, indeed-- Wait, he?" She blinked a few times before registering the fact that a sentient being was actually sitting nearby; in some sort of trance. "Oh. Right. I knew that." Cerci twiddled her thumbs, not wanting to admit that she didn't actually notice someone with such a vast well of power within them... She was just admiring the cathedral! Everyone gets tunnel vision now and again when presented with a situation regarding something they were interested in after all.
"Well now, I don' mean ta' intrude, just got myself an insatiable curiosity! The name's Cerci~!" The magic hunter greeted the now awakened tree man with a formal bow; the kind that indicated an almost royal upbringing of sorts. "So, this place is yours is it?" Inching closer to the newly formed table and chairs, she inspected them thoroughly in mere seconds! "Judgin' by the forces just created this dining set, am I correct in assumin' you also pieced together this island? If not that, perhaps at least that which generates these landmasses? Its quite amazin' if I might add! Reminds me of some'n my great-great-great-grandma coulda' made!" Cerci gave Walker an absolutely glowing smile, it was clear that she had a great interest in the art of magic...
The mysterious woman raised an eyebrow as she held a finger to her ear, listening for something-- it sounded like someone was falling! That theory was soon proven true as a small dorky looking Saiyan landed in the dirt nearby with a comical THWUMP. "Ooohh... Yikes." Cerci winced, leaning over to the Saiyan. Holding out a hand towards him, a small beam of orange light projected from her hand, materializing a rather strangely ornate... Barf bag within his reach.
"Just in case ya need it. It's bottomless, but only to vomit."

Walker rose shortly after Capper came smashing down into the ground, and her attention was divided three ways. Towards Capper, Walker, and Cerci she tried to multitask responding to each one. A table rose from the ground, making her stare in some surprise at the sight. The Bio-Golem asked if they would like any refreshments, and part of her wondered if he could make tea. Regardless, she didn't want to seem rude. "If you have tea, that's fine.." She replied to the towering tree warrior, listening as after she was done speaking he'd asked who the others were.
Part of her cringed at seeing Capper, but she would try to be respectful to the tiny Saiyan considering she didn't want to get punted off this island at Mach 10. The woman spoke to her, and she looked semi-curiously at the female who'd seemingly forgotten there was a tree with OVER TEN MILLION POWER LEVEL, RIGHT THERE. After she dealt with the SSE Saiyan, she didn't bother noticing him other than a small wave of her hand. "This place is pretty cool.. Cerci, nice name!" She replied in a friendly manner.
"Yknow, if I didn't know better you must've been taught by a teacher in the arts of magic right? I've been reading up on the Turtle and Crane schools of old. They both seem pretty cool.. I wonder if I could get ahold of the current teachers, if they have one. I'd love to learn that Kikoho or the Kamehameha" Scratching her head curiously, she smiled at the human before going to look at Walker. "Hey sir, are you alright?"

KEY "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
CONTEMPLATIONS OF THE WORLD TREE Capper shook his head, still lying on the ground. Sitting up with his tail swishing behind him, the Solar Empire's one and only saiyan technician looked up, adjusting his Scouter somewhat so he could see properly. Still somewhat dazed, the saiyan's head hung down as he put his hands on the ground for balance, still sitting down. Raising his head and brushing some of his hair out of the way when he heard someone approach, Capper's Scouter registered the strange-looking woman with a power level of just ten- but with Capper's knowledge and bad luck, he figured this woman was just suppressing her power. She offered him a... barf bag, which Capper quickly pushed aside despite his rather blue face. "I-I'm fine... Thanks anyways." He spoke, shaking his head and trying to keep that lump of something in his throat where it was. Getting back to his feet and shaking off his dizziness for now, the saiyan boy looked around, scanning everyone's power levels with his Scouter. First there was that dumb Tekuma lady- noticeably stronger than before, but still "meh" compared to the other powers Capper had seen. The strongest one he had encountered so far belonged to the President of Earth- what was his name... Vi-something. Capper couldn't remember. But his power level was juuuust about as strong as that reading of ten million appearing on the saiyan's scouter now...
Wait... Ten million?! No-- OVER ten million! Here?!
Snapping back to reality with a high-pitched and almost kitten-like yelp of surprise, Capper's fearful eyes locked onto Walker. Sweet mother of the kais above, he was STRONG. And... tall. Looking up at the nearly nine-foot-tall bio-android in awe with sparkling eyes, fear quickly turned to admiration. How did he get so tall? Could Capper get that tall someday? He hoped so. He needed to know this guy's secrets. Turning his attention to the table in front of them, Capper only now noted his growling stomach. Wow, this guy was strong, nice (so far), tall, and had food!! How much better could this get?! Quickly hopping up onto a rather tall stump-stool at the table, Capper had to grab on and force himself atop the seat with his arms, legs briefly kicking around before he perched himself atop the organic seat. Tail lashing around behind him for a moment, Capper peeked up when the strange tree-man asked for their names.
After giving Tekuma an evil eye as she spoke, Capper stood tall, chest puffed out a little as he put his hands on his hips. Tekuma might note that the saiyan was much more confident than the last time they met... "I'm Capper! I am designated as one of the Saiyan Solar Empire's mechanics and technicians." The saiyan spoke, hopping and sitting back down on his seat. He tilted his head in confusion when Tekuma spoke of the Crane and Turtle schools, not sure what they were or what they taught- or what this "Keey-ho-koh" was. Was it a food? Having shook of his occasional dizziness and urge to puke for now, Capper could only wonder what type of food this mystical, tall tree man had.

The mage hunter introduced herself as Cerci, and bowed quite politely. Bowing back, Walker listened carefully to her guesses about the Cathedral. "I did indeed put this place together. It is my home, and my mode of transportation. I appreciate your compliments, thank you." Turning, gestured, and small portals began to appear, showing the inside of cabinets. Reaching in, he pulled out a tea pot, cakes, and more, a second pair of arms extending from his shoulders in order to aid with the grabbing of things. Turning momentarily to acknowledge Tekuma's request, his tail grasped the tea-pot, pouring the amber liquid into cups. "Absolutely." As Tekuma spoke, Walker paused for a moment. The Turtle and Crane schools, hmm? Interesting. "I do believe those schools have a teacher at the moment. Both, in fact. However, I must warn you. The Kikoho is a powerful technique, but it comes at quite a cost." Casually sliding a plate to each of the people standing about, he began telekinetically moving sweets to each, as well as some slightly heartier meat pies to Capper's place setting. "It is good to meet you, Capper. A pleasure." He bowed, and then turned back to Tekuma for a moment. "The Kikoho is a technique that burns stronger than almost anything else, but it requires using your very life force to fan that flame. It can be used very sparingly, for even a slight amount of overuse could easily kill you. Given your... form." He looked her up and down, the cybernetic enhancements obvious. "I am uncertain how safe it would be for you." He tapped his chest, and his robes changed. A purple symbol and trim on a black vest, A dark green robe, and a white sash tied around his waist to complete the outfit of the Crane Master. Holding his hands in a triangle, for just a brief moment, he harnessed the power of the Kikoho, a golden glow enveloping him. "Are you truly prepared to risk your very life in a technique?"

Cerci nodded as Walker spoke, seemingly not at all surprised by the cathedral's alleged auxiliary capabilities. "Mmhm, mighty fine piece a' work indeed!" Was she taking Walker's word for it or did expert her eye for magic confirm it for her? Her tone was unclear as to which of these was the truth so it would be up to those curious enough to guess. "Ooo, portals too eh? Izzat a function of this fortress or an ability of your own?" Cerci's preferred-- and highly comical-- answer to such a question would've been 'yes' but she figured Walker wasn't much of a comedian, nor really in the mood for comedy with his current demeanor despite being a more than gracious host.
"Well, its short for something even prettier. There's a reason why I've shortened it; I'd risk totally floorin' people with my full name. Thanks though~!" Giving a goofy snort in response to Tekuma, she raised an eyebrow. "An' yours is Tekuma, yeah? If I didn't know any better I'd guess that one comes from some non-human heritage?"
The magic hunter tensed up slightly when Capper mentioned his current position in the SSE. It wasn't a reaction that she liked having... There was a scant flicker of disappointment in her face as well. However, given recent events as described by Defrosch, she was far more calm about it. "Pro-tip, don't be too vocal about the whole empire thing whilst you're on this planet. Not many people will react... Pleasantly to it." Hopefully she would have made it clear that the young Saiyan was not the target of her ire, for Cerci is one that strives to judge people based on their individual actions, and Capper seemed well mannered enough, perhaps even endearingly goofy.
As she listened to the passing conversation, Cerci juggled the little bonbons that Walker had offered. It was a simple trick, but she pulled it off with quite a bit of finesse. Being a martial artist herself, it didn't take her long to recall the specifics of the Crane School's Kikoho... It certainly isn't for the faint of heart. "Mhm. Not even a Senzu bean can bring ya back to proper form fast enough after usin' it. Moderation is certainly key in that kinda situation; but make no mistake, it is a powerful technique for a reason." Walker even opted to momentarily demonstrate without actually going too far with it! "Oho, so yer a Crane School practitioner too? Interestin'! But I got a much safer way a' showin it off~"
Cerci pocketed the sweets and set the plate she had back on the table before she turned to the group making sure they could all see her. From there she materialized several small cloth dolls in mid air, nodding to Walker. "Catch these and use em as an example. Usin' your ki, they'll respond to what you envision in your mind!"

Tekuma was slightly surprised at Walker's portals, yet curious as to how they worked. If they both used magic, could she do something like that or did it require a power level as strong as his? Or was this a different kind of magic? He gave the cups tea, and she gently took one and drank some of it. He started talking about the Kikoho, and the crane robes soon appeared on his wooden body.
It sent the girl internally reeling, excitement slightly bubbling within her before she got it to calm down. She listened with rapt attention, gazing at the tree man curiously. He spoke of how he was unsure of how safe it would be for her, to which she replied after she was done listening to him and Cerci. "Yeah Cerci, I was a half-demon, half human hybrid myself." She replied calmly, tension in the air as she spoke to the tree man.
The golden kikoho aura enveloped him, which she almost was lost for words upon seeing. Closing her eyes before opening them, she'd speak in truth and calmness. "The Kikoho is indeed a powerful technique. If I were to learn it, it would not be for my own personal gain and nothing would make me want to use something so willy nilly."
"If there was only one way to win a battle that could help the lives of thousands, no millions, at the cost of my life, I would do it. One life pales in comparison to the millions that could be saved through the Kikoho's power in desperate situations. If you know the Crane Master, I would like to learn what he has to offer."

KEY "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
CONTEMPLATIONS OF THE WORLD TREE Capper leaned off his seat somewhat, speaking to the tree man when he spoke in appreciation to the group's complements. "Seriously, this place is beyond anything I can build! How'd ya do it?" Capper spoke, tilting his head to the side. He could build spaceships, intelligent robots, and all sorts of houses, vehicles, and contraptions, but he could only dream of making a flying fortress! The wind from the high grounds brushed through the saiyan's form, causing him to look off at the clouds brisking the bottom of the flying landmass. They were... really high up.
Turning to Cerci when she spoke of keeping low about his alleigance, Capper rolled his eyes, waving a hand dismissively. "Meh, if someone don't like the Solar Empire, they don't like the Solar Empire. I can deal with it- there's no need to keep it a secret if someone will eventually find out." Capper spoke, waving his tail around and moving it in front of him, pointing to the SSE's emblem, emblazoned onto his right chestplate. Capper was still clingy to the typical saiyan dogma, but Earth had softened that connection. "We saiyans are already mostly done and over the Invasion last year. But most of you Earthlings seem to still be sour about it, even though all the damage is pretty much repaired." Throwing his arms up, Capper spoke in a somewhat annoyed tone as he recalled his first steps on Earth. People were either afraid or downright murderous to him during the first days after the Invasion... "I've been stranded here for a good year or so now. And boy were the days right after the Invasion the hardest of my life! I nearly died like twenty times!... But it wasn't enough to get a Zenkai, I guess..." He put a hand to his chin, closing his eyes. Capper had grown used to being weak. Even if there was a way to get strong without training, Capper was uncertain. Being weak was like, part of him! He just couldn't imagine himself having a power level above twenty... Shaking his head, that annoyed tone would return "Still! I don't get it! I mean, forgive and forget, right? It's weird. Earth is weird. But I like kinda weird." Capper spoke, plopping his chin down onto the table and staring off at nothing in particular.
Capper's expression sank when the talk of fighting and some "Kihoko" technique became the topic. Not being one for violence and fighting or even using basic techniques, the saiyan dozed off a little. Looking down at his hand, Capper balled a fist as a few specks of orange Ki flew from his form from a mere moment. Duri did say that Capper had fighting potential awhile back. Unlikely! The saiyan eyed Walked as he spoke of the mighty Kihoko, an attack that seemed to be incredibly powerful from what Capper gathered, but was usually fatal upon use."...Huh. I'm pretty sure Mom would like that attack. Mom's strong." Chire, Capper's rather rambunctious and violent mother, was incredibly powerful. She was no Super Saiyan, but Capper felt certain that his mother would be able to pull off this attack if she tried. Walker materialized some new robes onto his form, and spoke to Tekuma about risking her life for such a technique... Waaaait a second... That symbol, the robes, and the mere knowledge of this attack... Was Walker this Crane Master guy? Capper turned to Tekuma, looking at her like she was drunk after she was done speaking. She didn't seem to catch Walker's drift like Capper had. "...Really?" The saiyan blinked a few times before settling back down, head on the table as he took a sip of the tea walker had given him. He did appreciate the saiyan-sized serving the tall bio-android had given him before he glanced to Tekuma. "I mean, even I'm pretty sure now that he's probably the... You know what, forget it."

Removing the dolls from the air, Walker nodded his thanks. "I see. Not a bad idea. I will make use of them." Holding his hands out, the dolls jerked, then animated. As if alive themselves, they began to battle, punching and firing minor Ki blasts at each other. One doll tossed an attack at the other, who grunted as if in pain, then brought it's hands up in a triangle. "No more!" The aura flared, and a beam came bursting forth, hitting the other doll. The first doll slumped, looking winded. Then, they jerked back into place. "One blast is fine. More draining than usual, but fine. As it continues, though..." A 1 appeared on the second doll's back. The scene repeated, except the doll appeared even more exhausted afterwards. The number increased to 2, and it then repeated again. This time, the doll looked haggard, making harsh gasping noises. 3, now. "And then finally...." The two dolls flared their auras, and both gathered energy. The first doll fired an attack, and the second, throwing it's arms forward, yelled out in desperation "KI-KO-HOOOOOO!" The Tri-beam overwhelmed the opponent's attack, slamming him backwards, as the Crane doll fell from the sky, body having lost all animation.
Turning to Tekuma, he nodded. Listening to her words, he stroked his chin. A bit predictable, and easy to claim if nothing else. There was also the question of if she would really be involved in such things, or if she would simply spend her life and accomplish nothing. However, when she finished her thought, the tree's brow rose, then fell into a flat stare. Looking at Cerci and Capper in confusion, he raised a hand, looked down at his marked gi, then dropped it again. Had... that not been clear enough? She asked about the Crane Master, and he put on the robes and.... what?
Speaking of Capper, actually, the small Saiyan seemed rather flippant about that time the SSE had invaded and nearly killed millions of people. Walker wasn't sure how to feel about that. It was also, honestly, quite odd to process just how weak he was. His power level was barely larger than an average human's. Unless he was lying, this wasn't his power being suppressed, either. That was genuinely bizarre to the tree. Still, if he was an engineer, that sort of made sense. He considered commenting, but the young Saiyan seemed most likely to be converted from the SSE on his current path, or at least be an ally, so it was better to not give out to him.
A moment later, he almost laughed out loud. Capper's disbelief was apparent, and his sipping of the tea was exquisitely timed. Turning back to Tekuma, he stared at her. "The first test to learning from him is finding him, and I'm going to say he's not incredibly impressed with your mental acuity at the moment." If even Capper, a non-native of Earth and someone who likely had never heard of the SSE could identify him and Tekuma couldn't? That was just embaressing for the girl.

"Yeah, I could've guessed that much; but sometimes people just... Don't have the capacity to forgive. Its rather sad, really. Both for them and those trying to make amends." Cerci sighed, momentarily recounting some not so fond memories ranging from small disputes to information on family status in the Demon Realm. "I've seen it ruin people, and it ain't pretty." The Cricket master smiled as Capper mentioned how he liked the 'weirdness' of Earth. "I reckon you'd get along with my BFF. He's a fan of the weird too."
Cerci gave Walker's performance an odd form of applause; her way of doing it was far more refined and elegant rather than unabashedly rowdy or something similar. "Feel free to keep these dolls by the way, I'm sure you'll be able ta' make use of em. Plus, I could always just zoop up some more-- I could give you tips on how to if you'd like, unless you've already figured 'em out by observation."
Blinking as Walker made a point to gesture specifically to what he was wearing, Cerci rolled her shoulders and held her hands behind her head in a rather casual stance. "Hm? Oh, don't worry, I noticed. You're still a practitioner of the discipline either way."
Meanwhile, in the sky above, another signature could be detected as it was on its way down to the current gathering-- It was none other than Defrosch! "Yoooo! Cerci! You weren't kidding, this place is magnificent!" The Arcosian landed softly holding a wriggling woven bag in one hand. Looking around for a moment, he noticed several others, a bizarrely weak Saiyan he had not met along with two others that he had bumped into a couple times before; Walker and Tekuma. The red-head demon hybrid had changed quite a lot, she was significantly less bionic and lacking Ki the last time they met... Speaking of, during that meeting, she denied the existence of a certain mystical tree man. "Well, d'you believe in magic now?" With a quick smirk aimed at Tekuma, Defrosch wandered over to the group, giving them a short salute in greeting before looking to Walker. "You holding up okay? You freaked out after the wish and I was a bit concerned, but you just up and left, sooo..."

Tekuma's tongue slipped, she'd said something she didn't mean to and was now heavily cursing herself. The dolls battled as one somehow performed the kikoho, and the flat stare made the cyborg shiver faintly. Cerci chattered away to which she only half paid attention, letting herself piece together what she said in her mind to figure out what she'd done wrong exactly. When she did, a hot wave of embarrassment radiated off of her.
"Kami damn it." She whispered, an arcosian suddenly descending from the sky. He smirked at her, and she realized it was the black and teal Arcosian from way long ago. Grinning, she held up her hand with her fingers split apart in the center at a V, and Walker seemingly scolding her. "I meant to say if you are, sir. My deepest apologies." She replied in turn to the tree, sipping the tea in her cup. "Oh, this is quite tasty.."
