The queen was bored.
Really, really bored.
It'd been a few days after she'd found her secret plan viable enough--safe enough--to allow her (and him) to come back to Vegeta. She'd been brooding on her throne, and bar the conspicuous absence of Wyntre's skull (she'd already had a handful of people who were suspected of stealing the late empress of space's cranium summarily executed on that suspicion, all the while the next suspect was dragged in kicking and screaming, "No wait please you heard it all wrong I said I saw the thing vanis-" BLAM). While her special forces agents circulated the various hives of scum and villainy all across the planet, Zucceta had sat at her throne, tapping her chin. What she really yearned for was a fight--and that it came to her.
She was the queen of the largest empire in space.
A smirk creeps across her face in the gloom of that ancient chamber.
It was an hour later on that day, across every scouter frequency officially operating within her empire's jurisdiction, the Saiyan Solar sovereign made an announcement. The broadcast was clean, and the message was simple:
"Greetings, warriors of the saiyan solar empire. It has come to my attention that my presence has been low-key recently. This is, in part, due to a tactical appropriation of certain advantages for our empire that I recently made. However, I would like to meet some of our most daring soldiers, and I've decided that the best way to go about this would be to publicly fight you. In fact, even if I hate you, you should probably still come. Even if you are secretly Virtual Poi I probably won't kill you. I won't hold back--I will utilize the fullest extent of my power. Maybe some of you will be surprised by it.
"Meet me in Koregutsu Square just outside the palace at noon tomorrow."
And so the night passed. Zucceta, restless with anticipation for both testing of her fullest power and to potentially meet new members of her solar empire, would already be waiting in the square come mid-day. The sun beat down heavily on the fog in the middle of the domed mega-city, and the heat and foul smell were ripe. The queen takes a deep breath, taking it all in. This city, despite its flaws, was a beautiful feat of perseverance in the face of the saiyan's worser natures, a marvel of engineering at the heart of darkness. She would be floating a good twenty feet in the air, holding both of her arms with the opposite. Her eyes would be closed, but a non-threatening smile would grace her face.
Today would be a good day.
