Princess? Onihime had never been called that in the past. Asset…witch…monster…all of those sounded more accurate and had been names used to describe her in the past. Princess had never been her title…she didn’t’ exactly think poorly of it. Princess Onihime Ketsu…princess of what was yet to be determined, but it could be fun to think about. Clicking her tongue once, the blonde draws herself from the distraction as she realizes he was talking again. Despite her cold demeanor, her often overtaxed mind was easily distracted.
Focusing on the male across from her once more, she found his words drawing her interest than she would have ever thought when she first laid eyes upon him. Believing his tale of dragons and such was still up in the air, yet she could appreciate his straight forwardness. Seichko was often like that, direct and to the point with her words, no reason for lies. Perhaps Raisu was telling the truth about his little run in with a dragon…there just really wasn’t any way to tell. Ultimately, it probably didn’t matter. For that reason the girl’s slender shoulders shrug once more, as if their whole discussion as irrelevant.
Proof…no proof, I suppose it doesn’t matter wither way does it? This dragon and what other miracles you might have witness have no effect on me now, do they? So for the sake of being polite, let’s just say that I believe you. You are MY guest after all; it would be rude to call you a liar to your face.” The way the statement sounded it might seem as if she was doing just that, but she leaves just enough innocence in the statement to make it hard to determine one way or another. Regardless, her cold exterior had warmed slightly and she didn’t seem to be giving him that hard stare she had when they first met.

Raisu smiled wide, the smile reaching his eyes. This woman was... interesting, to say the least. There was something pointed about the way she spoke, almost business like. And he could appreciate that. It was nice to meet someone serious. Especially given how all his recent encounters had been super powered children or strange aliens. This was quite the refreshing change of pace. And, either way, she seemed to be softening, just a bit.
"Well," he said laughing, "That works. I'd hate to be called that."
Raisu tilted his head and crossed his legs, folding his hands in his lap. This conversation was downright civil for meeting in the wilderness. But still, he knew little of his gracious host. Perhaps it was time for him to turn the tables.
"But," he interjected suddenly, "Tell me about you, princess. I don't think you've even said your name."
What kind of meeting would it be if they didn't even exchange names? A wasted one, thought Raisu. Personally, he liked to exchange names. He did it often on the road, and it had come to be one of his favorite things. There was something almost... Well, he thought, the feeling was hard to describe. Still, it was almost as if he collected the names of others. Some people had rather interesting ones.
(Sorry for the late response! Class and work left me little time for anything!)

His smile seemed genuine enough, the strange man overly friendly in her opinion. There was little reason to trust those you came across in the wild as they were just as likely to stab you in the back as they were to lend you a hand. Her somewhat relaxed state was not because she felt comfortable with him, but because she didn't overly feel threatened. Unlike her, he didn't seem concerned with where he was going or what he might have been doing before the two had crossed paths. In fact he was settling in to have a conversation with her, taking up a more comfortable seat as he begins to ask about her.
About her? No one ever wanted to ask about her...not unless they were looking to get something from her. Looking across the dull fire at him, Onihime narrows her eyes. The suspicion was clear in her eyes, but it did not last long against that wide smile of his. Either he was a fool, the most deceptive man she had ever met or genuinely happy...she wasn't sure.
"Well for starters, I am no Princess. My name is Onihime Ketsu if you know and I am..." A slight pause coming as she almost uses the word assassin. He might not like that. "I am whatever my boss needs me to be. She and I have been training out here, that is what this lovely little set up is for." Her hand motioning to the measly accommodations that surrounded them. It was not what she was used to and she didn't seem that happy about it. "As you can see, I am alone at the moment. Seichko-sama is away on business, but she should be returning soon. Perhaps you will get the chance to meet her."

Raisu nodded. Onihime Ketsu... Raisu would remember that name, especially once he'd put it to her face. Raisu had a small talent for that, if one could call it that, the business of remembering names and faces. He liked to think of it as a tool of the trade for a wanderer, like himself. Though, rarely did he wander too far these days. His training kept him centralized, though Raisu was not quite sure how he felt about that.
"I see. Well, princess- I mean, Onihime- it's nice to meet you."
Raisu bowed slightly from his seat. He might as well try to be cordial.
"And it'd be nice to meet her. Maybe she won't give me so much trouble about the dragon," Raisu teased, laughing a little to himself. Raisu would be loathe to upset Onihime, but he could scarcely resist a small poke. He continued his smile and held out his hands, palms up, as if to indicate peace.
"But you know," said Raisu, changing the subject, "That's really interesting. Training? I do a bit of that myself."

While Raisu had a knack for remembering faces, Onihime was more prone to forget them. When focused on a mission she was reliable enough, but her altered state of mind afterwards often let her memory slip. In the end the only one she really needed to remember was Seichko. Yet, with Raisu the whole dragon story was probably going to stick with her. It wasn’t every day that you met someone boasting of dragons and the like.
Of course the little jab drew a glare from the small woman, the expression only lasting a minute before she realized he was doing to egg her on. A snort replaced the look along with a roll of her eyes. He was just a jokester wasn’t he? Thankfully, he changed the subject.
”Oh do you? Does this training involve the art of storytelling?” It was her turn to smirk with the comment, jabbing back at him for his hard to believe tale. Even so, the first part of her statement made it clear she was curious in this training he mentioned. For such a peaceful fellow he didn’t seem the fighting type, but of course it was never a good idea to judge a book by its cover. Perhaps there as more to this wandered than met the eye.

Raisu gave a small half-grin and cocked his head sideways. So, he thought, the girl still had jokes. It was an amusing thought. Was there training for storytellers, he found himself wondering. Raisu almost laughed to himself as be pictured a studious looking fellow sitting in a gravity chamber, holding a book. It was a ridiculous image. Luckily, Raisu did not really consider himself a storyteller.
"If only, Onihime," sighed Raisu, feigning sadness, "Then maybe I would be better at it. But no, I'm afraid my training mostly consists the things that most consider for warriors. Gravity training, sparring, that kind of stuff. Some might ask why I do it, but I find I enjoy it. Maybe it's just in my blood." Raisu grinned as he allowed his tail to unfurl and wag ever so slightly behind him. As if to show off his mastery of the tail, Raisu lifted the tail to his face and acted as if it were a moustache, making a silly face as he did.
"Sure," he continued, "I'm not crazy about what it does to my body. Training at near one-hundred times the Earth's gravity will really make you ache, but I think its worth it. Though, ask me a gain in a good twenty or thirty years, and I might have a different answer for you."
Raisu laughed, as if disregarding the very real damage he was likely doing to his own body. He'd pay for it, one day. He knew that. But Raisu Hanamura was the type of guy to live in the moment.
