So... I don't think this is much of a grievance or a complaint as much as this is me wanting to get an answer straight. I've been inquiring for a while as to how zenkai works, how it is assigned and how to go about getting it graded mid thread. So, I've been told that I do not receive Zenkai mid thread by one person, but then by a next i'm told that I do. Then, when I ask for grading, things get passed off and people get busy, which is fine I totally get that RL comes first and that's not really the issue. (More so just added frustration is all~
So, I finally get someone to answer me when I ask if they can grade the DE so far so that I can get my zenkai finally, and am told that my character hasn't suffered enough damage to earn it. Fair enough answer, but I'd still been told that I do get it... so if there is the chance for me to get it, I would really really like it.
So... first and foremost I want a straight answer of yes I definitely would get something, or no I definitely would not.
And secondly, I'll plead Tomo's case below as to why I think the damage she suffered is enough for her to earn some sort of Zenkai.
My Case:
While the beam shot by Reikiko in the open DE of south city was aimed at Tomoroko's tail and was only meant to severe it, I did roleplay Tomoroko receiving more damage that was originally intended. I had the blast scorch her side and parts of her back, along with severing her tail. While that alone doesn't seem like a big deal, a saiyan has grown their entire life with their tail, meaning the tail would feel like another limb to any saiyan, and having that severed would feel like the equivalent of having an arm severed, which in any other case would require immediate healing to stop the blood flow, or even a senzu to stop any further damage. I had Tomoroko's body go into complete shock after the severe burns and the severance of her tail as pain scorched through her body.
Now, for PL comparisson:
"Reikiko has used Crimson Barrage Kai and fired a UV3 at: Tomoroko (aiming for her tail, this technique has the intention to harm, aka sever her tail but not kill), the attack aimed at Aspa/Intercept it and Aspa's Power Ball
5,145,723 divided by 3 means 1,715,241 is heading each way on terms of speed"
Tomoroko's PL at the time of being in great ape form was 964,810
That's a difference of: 750,341PL
That is a BUTT ton of a difference, so I would imagine getting hit by anything that powerful, would do more than "Shi- I lost my tail, welp im effed now"
Then... I just wanted to add this little note... I am a martial artist myself in real life, and just because an attack isn't MEANT to do serious damage, you cannot predict how your opponent will act, and may do way more than you had originally intended too, while it is either misjudging your strength, or miscalculating the angle of a kick, or your opponent reacting in a way you fully did not expect! Battle is unpredictable, and extreme situations arise... I think in Tomoroko's case, what I roleplayed out as a reaction wasn't too much of a far fetched way of getting severely hurt by an attack much more powerful than her.

While I feel that Luffa did a much better job at describing the pain that he felt while losing his tail and getting fried like a piece of bacon, I think that Tomo's experience really isn't all that far off. Specifically this: "(Luffa has lost his Oozaru form, and half of his tail, and popped a Senzu. Zenkai requested!)", is exactly what Tomo had gone through. The only reason I did not have her snap as Luffa did, was because I needed Aspa to actually give her the senzu bean first... cause trust me... next post won't be pretty >.< If she doesn't go SS, she will be the next to use saiyan soul and will be angry AF.
So... please give my case some reconsideration and just help me understand how this works...
Thank you...
P.S This is by no means me finger pointing at ANYONE, I just really want a clear story so that I can understand better
