Listening to Chai who had suddenly came beside him, finally recognizing the surrounding area once more, having blocked out most of his attention from everything else, EGG nodded in how they were all in agreement in bringing this to a swift end with no more death. The little plant alien knew all too well that any further violence could lead into death, recalling his own moments in how Captain Nova and Star Cadet, himself, had stopped a bank robbery, stopping the strongest guy with words... Though, sadly at the cost of a saibaman who didn't want to change his own ways. The heroic Tennenman still felt bad for the death of Cheese, but he had to march forward onto the path of justice for all. As he lessened the grip on the phantasmal being, he could feel Collan's energy dissipate into nothing as he escaped, and Azguard was having a happy fit on the ground. Though what caused him to keep a firm grip on the ghastly enemy was the voice of the Saiyaindian once more, the tan skinned man speaking about how this person was... what? A spirit? That didn't make sense. This person was right here right now, doing physical things to hurt others. Spirits, to EGG's knowledge, were just like ghosts, who can possess some things, but ultimately can't do much harm. And kind of angering the tennenman even more, was the Saiyan's incessant bickering about how they should all just knock out this enemy.
"NO!" Taking a deep breath as he completely let go of Greeve's arm, the tennenman looked at Pieter with his own neon green eyes, the burning determination of hope and life completely full the brim within the spirit that was EGG. Continuing his interjection, the plant-based hero alien continued, "No more violence! No more attacks! No more! NO MORE! Not necessary. Like say, forgive him for arm thing, cause it back now. No want feel bad, not want feel hurt. Life is one thing you never get back, and say guy spirit just for me to hurt him is not nice. Just like person, he has chance to go peaceful. Everyone has chance to be good, just gotta let chance to boom. And guy was right, how we attack and attack without try to talk out at first. And he seem reason enough to talk out. I follow path of hero, path of redemption for any who have been bad at least once in life. Captain Nova taught me this, and I am sidekick, Star Cadet!"Taking one more deep breath as he finished his tirade, sloppily putting his words together to get a general idea of what he truly wanted to do. He wanted to follow the steps of his own role model, Captain Nova, who pulled the tennenman out of the pits of despair. EGG knew what he wanted to do, but it was now all up to the villain himself as to whether he wanted to go peacefully or not. Turning his body once more, facing Greeve again, EGG's voice permeated the air a final time, "Stranger, not know name... But I want you to turn self in peaceful. Follow us to dragon lady, and we settle things. No need for death or damage. What do you say, buddy? Will you be nice?"

Chai let out a genuine chuckle when Azguard threw some kind of happy, goopy fit after seeing EGG's new form. As a child, Chai always freaked out over superheroes and whatnot, and even dressed up as one at a comic convention all those years ago before the shit hit the fan in his universe... The edgelord ninja leader of the rebellion in a falling world was once an ordinary, innocent child... Reflecting for a moment, the goat almost found that fact hard to believe. But everyone came from somewhere, right? Even this ghost had a story, and reasons. Chai still had a long way to go, and many mistakes to amend before he could even begin to consider himself a hero. Collan walked past Chai, speaking in an oddly eerie whisper that they would talk later. The goat raised a brow, turning around and waving a little as his white-haired comrade left. "Okay, byyyyyye." Chai called, turning back around to Greeve and EGG, musing to himself with a hand on his chin. "I wonder what that was all about..." The goat pondered, tapping his bare foot on the ground. Pieter seemed quite confused for some reason. Chai was familiar with specters escaping the Afterlife- he had Guardia, after all. The blade's soul was strong and unstable when he escaped. To keep itself from fading completely, his essence latched onto the nearest object- the sword hilt he now possessed. But it seemed some more stable souls could manifest into the mortal world without much backlash... Maybe it was because of Guardia's unstable temper or something? It was a mystery. But because of the blade's mistake, he met Chai, and they were where they were today. Clucthing Guardia's hilt a little tighter now, Chai would raise a brow when the man spoke again, commanding Chai and EGG to knock the shit out of Greeve! "W-what?!" Chai stuttered. The ghost was right- Pieter did NOT want this specter leaving now. Guardia rolled his eye, clearing his nonexistant throat before bellowing out in a tone comparable to that of an angsty, rebellious teen. 'YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, MOOOOM.' The sword bellowed, causing Chai to smile, cheeks puffed out as he held back a laugh for a moment. Quickly frowning, the goat narrowed his eyes in response to his sword's disrespectful comment. "Guardia, no." Chai trailed off, but the sword quickly spoke again with the same defiant tone. 'I WILL NOT APOLOGIZE FOR ART!' Chai put a hand over his mouth, a chuckle slipping through his lips. Guardia was his spirit animal- Chai was peeved at being ordered around like a child a little as well, and deep down, he agreed with the sword. But he'd never have the nerve to say it to Pieter's face like Guardia could. "...Fair enough." The goat spoke with a shrug. Guardia chuckled as well, happy that it seemed they were on their way to the good ending of this clusterfuckle story.
EGG shouted once more, also defiant in the face of the saiyan's order to knock Greeve the fuck out. There was no more need for violence or pain, as the tennenman friend of Chai said. They had to forgive, and move on... Everyone deserved that second chance at life. Chai smiled after EGG finished once more, a single tear snaking down his cheek. He was proud of how far this world's EGG had come so far. Sure, he wasn't at the level of strength as his Jinkoman self from Universe Five, but, as Chai knew very well, strength wasn't all that mattered in battle. After the pink and blue plant boy's speech, Guardia would glance between EGG and Chai- this seemed to be the goat's cue to reinforce their merciful choice. Chosing his eyes, the goat would crack a smile as he began to speak, not fearing or hating the ghost in front of him any longer.
"...Buddy, I've found that mercy always bears richer fruits than that of strict justice." Chai spoke, opening his eyes once more and turning his head to EGG, then Pieter. Shrugging his shoulders, the goat recalled how his mercy bore fruit in the past. Hinawa, Tulip, and even Guardia all seized the second chance offered by Chai. The goat from another world loosened his grip on Guardia, continuing his little pacifistic rant. "Sure, sometimes I can't solve things by just trying to be nice. I make mistakes. I'm sure we all do." Chai spoke, smiling. "And that's a-okay." "A bloodied path is a much easier route to take than the path of compassion and mercy." Chai spoke, his smile shifting to a solemn frown. He could have killed Hinawa any of those times he beat her. Merciful and unwavering, Chai continued to spare his enemy, whom gave her life to ensure his safety in the bitter end. "But doesn't everyone deserve a second chance?" "Don't we all have the right to be wrong?" "Doesn't everyone deserve a right to live?"
Chai paused for a moment, sucking in a deep breath. Hopefully Pieter was too swayed to the path of mercy now, but Chai had a few last points to make. "Sure, some people can make... bad choices. But just because they make bad choices, it doesn't mean they aren't people with a past enriched as yours and mine." Be spoke, gesturing to himself, then everyone around him with one sweeping arm. Folding his arms, the goat would close his eyes, raising a finger as he made his final point. "Life is a gift, friend. That's why they call it the present."
A quick sniff rom Guardia caught Chai's attention. The sword wiped away a few tears before Chai could see, and the blade quickly praised the speeches of the two budding heroes. 'Byootiful, you two. Ten outta ten.' Guardia spoke, floating out of Chai's grip. Returning back to his normal form now that the battle was over, Chai would let EGG finish the talking when he approached Greeve, offering a peaceful end one final time. 'Dooo it! Dooo it! Dooo it!' Guardia would chant in a hushed tone in the background. If he had fingers, he would be crossing them so much right now.

Base Power Level – 36,627

‘Azguard feels like they are forgetting something…,’ the Bio-Android thought aloud as it recovered from its childish excitement. Seeing yet another superhero in action, and again being up close to such a thing, filled it with an inexplicable glee. Fortunately, exhaustion alone had made it nigh impossible for the nascent panacea to do anything else other than roll around haplessly in its own Plasm. Like some sort of sponge it slipped and oozed across the earth, gathering up remnants of its former state and consuming them – recycling the raw biotic properties for later use. There was no way it would regain all that power any time soon, but at least now it knew it could achieve such heights of strength.
‘Oh!’ it realised, ‘Patients!’ Along Azguard tumbled, bouncing like weeds in the wind as it returned to the site of the two teenagers it had worked to stabilise. Both were still there, out of sight and almost certainly out of mind of the rest of the fierce fighters, and neither seemed any worse for wear than when they had allowed it to take part in this fight. The young man had moved, but not too much, and seemed to have done what he could to help his female companion be on the mend. Torn clothing had been turned to rudimentary bandages, soaked in the sterilising slime that the malleable medic had so graciously left behind. A couple of fallen sticks from nearby trees had been converted into primitive yet effective splints, compensating for the lack of Azguard’s presence.
“Hmm…? Is it over…?” the aspiring doctor asked.
‘Azguard is not sure,’ the gooey one replied, ‘but it does not matter. What matters is that Azguard gets you to a hospital now. They tried to be a hero, just like Captain Nova, but they aren’t that type of hero. Azguard has to find new ways of being a hero – a hero that helps heroes be heroes!’
“Th– That’s quite an awesome goal,” the teen chuckled as he allowed the Plasm to consume him once more. Stretched thin but knowing its limits, the Bio-Android began to hover its way steadily in the direction of the nearest hospital. But, before it did so, it echoed one last message out to the Zoan – to Chai and Guardia.
‘Azguard does not know what Mister Goat and Mister Sword meant about “our world”,’ it said, ‘but they are curious. They probably don’t want to know, but Azguard feels they should know. If Misters want, then we can talk about it… Ooh! Maybe Azguard can help when they become a superhero, too…!’
Azguard’s opting to exit (with patients in tow), and has left Chai and Guardia a message out of curiosity. If successful, I’d like to take PL for this thread, thanks!

Greeve quirked an eyebrow as Peiter yelled out for him to be knocked out, figuring out just what Greeve was and mentioning someone who could send him back to the afterlife. Wouldn't killing him be a much faster method of accomplishing this? He honestly had no idea just what these people were thinking sometimes.
However, it seemed that the alien, the goat, and even the blob were against the violence, instead offering Greeve the chance to go with them peacefully. Seriously? Whatever they did he'd most likely be sent back to the afterlife. Now they were just riding their high horse. He was starting to get the impression that life was just a source of insanity.
But, there could be some opportunity to this. Maybe Greeve could twist this to his advantage. He gave a small shrug, looking at the group of them with a small smile. "Sure, who not? Lead the way."

They all were keen on this dispute ending peacefully, which baffled the battle hardened hybrid! He was fearful of what may happen, thinking it'd just result the same way in the end. The ghost submitted passively to them, striking it suspicious to Pieter... However, it reminded him of the conversation he had with Neo, and before that with King Kai! He had been spiralled to this point, ever since the Centurial Conference Tournament, because of that monster Oguma! Zucceta and Vi-poi, however, had reinforced that distrust greatly in people who act violently like this ghost.
His upper right lip twitched a bit... Were they really making him to be the bad guy here?! When this bastard attacked civilians and injured them, forcing the blob to come to their aide?
He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath in before releasing and stating, "Fine. I'll be accompanying you Three... If you run, I'm knocking you out and dragging right to the Kami," Pieter threatened the ghost, "You're NOT going to escape me and won't receive the kindness these two are giving! That is a promise"
(Pieter is succumbing to the demands of the two brat students of Maeve's. Run and the Super Saiyan hunts ya down like the dog ye are!)

After releasing the enemy before them, it became apparent that others were agreeing to his suggestion, even if it was in opposition in their best interests. EGG was adamant on keeping his promise of no more violence, even if it meant fighting others here to make that points. Thank goodness that the one person he was worrying about, Pieter, was more than willing to stand down.
Smiling as it seems heroism was going to be the way that everything should end, EGG started to remember about the chaos down below, only noticing once he saw the blobulous form of an amalgamation creature walked by, as EGG could sense multiple energies within the nascent panacea to make up the singular entity that shlorped before him.
Looking down at Azguard, EGG thought of a couple words to say, as it was in rather poor taste to leave the scene of a crime even if it has been resolved peacefully. Finding some words, the alien hero spoke out loud to the blob-hero, saying slowly as it fought to try and say some the words it pronounced, "Az... Az-guard. Thank you for help. Because Piet said so, we go somewhere to turn in person before us. If you would, could help people here in stead? They all hurt and confused... and we need hero to calm down and assist. Not people person myself, due to what... I am. Saibaman not really welcome too much because saiyans. Bad repupation. Will you help others for me?"
Giving his offer, EGG would wait to hear the answer before facing the others who were bound to return to the Lookout. Nodding, EGG would say, "I lead way, you follow me! Piet stays in back to keep eye on... ... Don't know name. This guy. Follow me!"
And with that, the damaged cape wearing hero took off to the sky, flying towards the Lookout at a rather even pace, always checking over his shoulder to make sure the others were following him.

Chai pumped a fist in the air in triumph when Pieter agreed to their path of mercy, although he would be keeping a close eye on their captive ghost, whom agreed to tag along with the group peacefully. It struck Chai a bit odd that Greeve would be sent to the afterlife without a fight, but with EGG, Pieter, and himself at guard, there wasn't too much worry of someone getting hurt again or dying to the ghost. What was the worst that could happen? Lowering his usally cautious guard, Chai would release Guardia, letting the sword fly back into a resting position in the sheath around his waist with a tired huff. 'Boy... This was quite the day.' Guardia began in a tired tone. 'Can we go home now? I'm beat. I could really go for a dip in our pool right now...' The sword longed, staring off at the sun, high in the skies above.
Chai glanced to the two, his senses once again twisting into overdrive from their large powers... "Yeah. Let's go home." Chai spoke, glancing down to his partner, who's eye glimmered like a star after the goat spoke. 'Really?!' The blade chimed. He really did not want to deal with Pieter or Greeve any longer-- a trip back home was just what the sword needed, and Chai was happy to oblige. "Yep. You earned it, partner." Chai spoke, putting his hands on his hips. Turning to Greeve, Pieter, and EGG, the goat would speak to them once more. "Welp, you guys don't need me anymore. You're strong enough to handle this guy, so me and Guardia are heading home." Chai spoke, turning his head and glancing off behind him in the direction of their home. The goat's single eye darted back to the group as he spoke. "Give my regards to Maeve too, okay? I'd love to schedule some proper training with her soon, too." He smiled, turning around and letting his rainbow ki billow and flare. With a quick salute to the group, Chai said one last thing before parting. "If you need us, we live in the southern reaches of the Bamboo Forest." Flying a few feet into the air, the goat gave one last goodbye before leaving. "See you later!"
And with a brilliant burst of energy, Chai would dart into the skies, attempting to fly back home- should he not be interrupted. As he flew, the goat soon caught ear of a telepathic message-- it was Azguard again! The blob medic was curious about Chai's outburst of "other worlds..." The goat bit his lip, but figured the hero to heroes was trustworthy enough. '...Very well. If you would like to know the truth, meet me at my place later in the southern reaches of the Bamboo Forest. It's right on a cliff by a river waterfall- you can't miss it.' Chai responded, his telepathic voice only audible to Azguard. Continuing to fly off, should they not have been interrupted, the goat and sword would just find themselves glad that today was almost over.

And just like that, the whole affair was over with. The Saiyan seemed to stand down from his desires to attack Greeve (though honestly the ghost couldn't blame him) and were instead going to bring him to this 'Maeve' person. Didn't make a lick of difference really. If the saiyan was speaking the truth, one way or another he was going back to the Afterlife. It just seemed like these so-called 'heroes' didn't want to get their hands dirty, and were happy to have someone else do it for them.
Still, this Maeve individual intrigued him. Who were they, and why did they feel like they would be needed at all. Certainly they knew how the afterlife worked, right? This gave him a chance to think ahead and plan out his next move. He would accompany them for now. As the goat man left the scene, he would wait for the others to escort him to their friend.

Egg would lead the way, asking the blob to take care of the civilians harmed as best it could, with Pieter trailing behind. Chai, however, thought it best to, 'Let these two handle it because they're strong,' which had Pieter get in his way before rushing away out into the sky, the hunter telling him, "You're not going home just yet, you two! This is going to be a lesson for how to take care of spirits like him that escape to the Living Realm."
Pieter pointed to the west with his hand, telling them angrily, "That way. MARCH."
The Hunter would catch up to EGG and the ghost after he convinced them to go with them. This was going to be a brief case and he'd not have someone who Maeve had faith in not be there to learn a thing or two about the afterlife and things like this guy!

Chai quickly came to a screeching halt in the skies briefly after responding to Azguard's message- Pieter! Again! 'Dammit...' The goat found himself cussing mentally, biting his lip with narrowed eyes. He already stomped on the goat's pride by treating him like a damn child when he himself was a leader in his own universe... The position of a leader was a hefty one for the goat. He knew the weight of his followers' hopes. He struggled to keep his teammates happy until they found the plans for the universe-hopper, and even now, the goat felt their weight on his shoulders. Did this man just not care much for the thoughts of Chai, a lowly follower at this point? Guardia's single eye narrowed in hostility as well- the nerve!Chai flat-out let out a growl when he was told to march, of all things. Guardia was the first to snap. 'Oi! Who the fack to do you think you are, bossin' MY partner and I around like fukken CHILDREN when we are clearly--' Chai turned his head, quickly speaking in a rather calm tone, though suppressed anger was prominent. "Shush." Chai spoke, turning his head to Guardia. The sword's eye widened for a moment, and he quickly shut his trap. "Look. I know you want me to come with to go learn how to banish a ghost or whatever." Chai spoke, describing the situation at hand. Banishing a ghost seemed like a rather useless skill to the goat, but he was no one to judge for now. Taking a deep breath in, he'd let his once hostile and narrow eyes retract to a calmer state as he expressed his emotions. "But this is making me feel like you see me as a mere lesser. I feel like you frankly don't give a damn what my partner or I think or wish for now." Chai explained, gesticulating as he spoke before taking another breath in, pausing as he tried to master his emotions and feelings. "I want to go home. I've had a very long and very stressful day, meeting Vi-Poi himself and getting all dressed up for a job interview, and this shitsh-" Chai paused, cutting himself off. "This event." He corrected himself. Narrowing his eyes again, Chai would lose control of his suppressed emotions for a moment. "But fine, I'll go with you, teacher." He spoke, flying past Pieter. "Just know this." He spoke, pausing in the air while floating a few meters away from the man, back turned. "You are stronger, yes. But you should not place yourself so high atop this ladder." The false pupil in the goat's missing eye darted to the chieftan. "...You'll just get yourself killed like the rest of them."
Chai spoke, eerily hinting at his own world once more. Turning his head back around, Chai would fly forwards, after EGG and Greeve. "Heheh..." He chuckled for a moment, before quickly catching himself. Chai's expression quickly shifted to a frown as he flew after EGG and the captive Greeve... What had he just gotten himself into this time?

Guardia was quick to speak first, stating his thoughts aloud before being made silent by Chai. The goatman spoke, being honest with his thoughts on what Pieter believed of him and EGG. He agreed to follow them, but gave Pieter what sounded like a threat. Pieter, however, smiled, as he told him, "That's fine. I've actually died before and know what it's like in the Afterlife already, as you so callously put it before. Even got this symbol upon my back to remind me, too!"
Pieter followed after Chai, meeting up with the two ahead of them as they made their way to the Lookout, where Pieter would keep track of this guy until Maeve made her return! He'd also get to know these two guys, too, whilst they waited for the Kami to return and educate them how to get rid of a ghost like this...
