As Tomo silently floated down the flowery Meadows of Heaven, something about the planet seemed off. Maybe it was the fact that his feet could not feel the lush grass as the whispy child lacked legs, only able to float merely a foot above the ground. Maybe it was the fact that Tomo still was trying to think of how he was "dead" if he was still there... or maybe coming to grips with the fact that he had been killed mere moments after finding his sister, turned into a body less soul, then screamed into heaven by a red giant... Either way, the hybrid child was peturbed to say the least as he aimlessly meandered through heaven. " TEKUUUUU!" Tomoyo shouted at the top of his nonexistant lungs. True he was dead, but that just meant he might be able to find his older sister again in heaven right. Thoughts on other aspects of his sister's fate, if she had been sent to hell or simply destroyed forever due to being a robot, were pushed to the back of the overoptimistic kid's mind. Tekuma had to be here... if not she was DEFINITELY alive still! He wouldn't let himself think otherwise! Cupping his whispy hands over his mouth, the anxiously worried half breed cried out once more into the seemingly endless meadows while floating foreward along its well paved, grey path. " TEEEEKUUUUUMAAAA! WHERE AAAARE YOOOOOUUUUU?!" Tekuma Mayakon

Caraway was sitting on a blanket, eating a sandwich while Carrie was enjoying one of her own. The food was amazing up here, rather tasty along with the good company. Wherever their daughter was, she had to be out doing what she did best. It made them proud she was a blue banner scientist at such a young age, and they hadn't been around to see her ascent into what some could deem maturity, while others could deem it a slow decline into insanity.
However, they were happy until a loud scream came from a child spirit. Tekuma. Both parents looked to each other in worry and got up, walking over to the small hybrid child. "You know of our daughter?" They both asked, eyes and voices tender and filled with parental worry. "Who are you, little boy? What took you from life so soon, you are far too young to have died in this state."
Tekuma however, was busy looking for her parents not too far away, spiky bright red hair visible as a red-tipped beacon to not only Tomoyo, but to her parents as well. "Mooom? Daaad? Where are you?!" Yelled the hybrid soul, looking for the loved ones she came here for. They just have to be here, somewhere, I know it. That ogre was just messing with me, they're not lost forever!

"TEEEEEEEEEEEKUUU-"
You know of our daughter?
Attempting to turn on a dime and face the couple that had just approached and called to him, though not quite as graceful due to barely being used to his floating tail, Tomoyo ended up slipping foreward before falling as his face smacked into the ground quite hard. "OUCH!" The child squealed in pain as his nose was squished very painfully. Spinning over so that he faced the sky and the faces of the couple while floating on his back, the hybrid's spirit proceeded to fail horribly at trying to get back up while answering them.
"Daughter? Um... I'm looking for my big sister. She's *smack* she's tall and has spiky red hair and white horns and is part robo-*slip* GAH!" Stumbling over his words while whipping his tail end erratically, Tomoyo was nearly at the point in crying in frustration as he tried maneuvering himself back onto the tip of his tail without falling over. To put into relatable words from the point of view of someone who didn't know how to fly, let alone float by a ghost tail, it was like trying make yourself tread upward in water when you didn't know how to swim but didn't have the threat of drowning.
Face planting once more into the ground, Tomoyo spun onto his back once more before whimpering to the young looking red heads. "Um... help please~"

Caraway would move to catch the tangible spirit body, helping him back up after he fell previously. "Hey, it's alright. Spiky red hair.. white horns.." The demon froze, turning to look at Carrie with a serious, sad yet hopeful expression. "Where did you see her last?" They both asked, concerned and very curious. Caraway was obviously pure demon, white skinned with vivid red hair and bright green eyes.
He was almost exactly like Tekuma's form, along with the white horns mimicking that of Tekuma's. Carrie had a gentle expression like that of his robot sister, her body being the same shape or close to it. "That's our daughter, boy. Did we have a son I don't know about, Carrie?" The demon turned to his human wife, raising a curious eyebrow which inquired. "N..No Caraway. Tekuma must have adopted him or something."

Normally Tomoyo didn't really care about avoiding strangers. His parents had somehow left out the whole shtick they should have told the kid about not talking to strangers, feeling it didn't really matter in a world where their son easily outstripped the average human adult in terms of power. Tomoyo hasn't even been on to previously shy away from meeting a new friend, so he was always open to interacting with new people! After all, a stranger was just a person you haven't befriended or accepted candy from yet, right?
...this interaction was starting to change that view ever so slightly.
At first the fallen hybrid had been glad for the demon man to help him up, quite thankful in fact. But just as he was about to voice that thanks the child needed to fall silent when listening to the couple's almost simultaneous inquiry on where he had last seen Tekuma. "Um... Where I saw her... um... there was a lot of snow everywhere and it was somewhere up north. She disappeared though after my friend... um... got angry at her I guess." The way the man especially was fiercely gazing at the child started making Tomoyo feel uncomfortable. Combining that with the confusion and awkwardness involved in recounting the circumstances of his death and the half Human was trying to slowly float backwards away from Caraway.
Eyebrows furrowing in intimidated fright, Tomoyo motioned his hands in a wave before attempting to float away from the man that was scaring him. "Um... I'm gonna go home now... bye~" Tensing up in apprehension that the two weird people might try chasing him, the child was once more frozen to a halt as he heard the woman say something else when being questioned by who Tomo could only assume to be her husband.
N..No Caraway. Tekuma must have adopted him or something.
Pausing mid-float, Tomo turned around on a dime, nearly resulting in himself tipping over into a fall once more before he just barely caught himself. "Wait, you know Teku? ...then... Are you... Teku's mom and dad?" Now that he really took a look at them, it was almost like looking at half and half of his elder sister. The man resembled Tekuma's facial features slightly as well as possessing the same hue of vibrant red hair and horns, while the woman looked to be almost a more human Tekuma without any of the robot parts or animal stuff. So that Charlene girl WAS telling the truth! Tekuma's parents really were dead!
The thought that Tekuma was more trusting of this other sibling that he had had never known of than with him did hurt the child a little, though he couldn't really comprehend why to such an extent. It wasn't like Tekuma had completely abandoned him right? ...that can't be true, she hugged him and said she loved him! "Teku didn't lie... she doesn't not wanna see me again, does she?" Fearing the thought, Tomo hastily looked back up at the couple as if they were breathing evidence of his older sister's secrets and disdain for him. He just couldn't let himself believe that Tekuma would do that to him!
"Y-Your lying! Teku doesn't hate me!" Tomo yelled in response at the two adults, unaware that outside of the contexts of his inner thoughts the two statements didn't alone make much sense or even seem relevant to each other. Turning back around away from the hybrid couple, the half Human tried his best to float away from the cause of his strife.
That was when Tomoyo found out when he finally wanted to start moving fast that he didn't quite have the hang of even moving at speeds he desired. His floating at the moment seemingly had a capped speed of DEAD SLOW!

Caraway watched as the little boy moved away, his gaze sharp with inquiry. The kid was moving to leave, which was causing the hybrid's parents a bit of confusion as their two halos hanging over their heads. Whacking Caraway over the head with her hand, Carrie seemed unamused and reprimanded him in the demon tongue he taught her. As the boy froze, the duo nodded quietly. "Yes, we are."
Tekuma had heard Tomoyo yell, dashing as fast as her ghostly tail could go before the hybrid soul froze. After the encounter with the ogre, her eyes softened as a quick hitched sob came from the tear-eyed spirit. Without further thought, the girl ran to hug her parents in her tangible but cold ghostly body. "Mother! Father! I knew you were here, I knew it! I'm so happy to see you again!"
