KEY "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
<< Previous ThreadSPACING OUT
Meanwhile, in the Spinach Wastes, Capper was at hard work on his spaceship. The mighty Aurora spacecraft was capable of flying around Earth, sure, but now he had to install the ship's thrusters to make it capable of breaking through the atmosphere in one piece. Whistling as several of his tiny, spherical, and spider-like Plexbit Drones of varying colors carried a large booster into place with their tractor beams, the saiyan pulled out a welding stick, promptly pulling down a iron mask over his face and securing the large thruster into place on the back of the ship. Flipping open his trusty journal, the saiyan compared the sketch of the ship compared to the real thing. The large wings were folded and in stasis currently, and Capper just had to pray that nothing went wrong during this first test drive. Puffing out his chest and taking a deep breath in, the saiyan pressed a button on the ship, causing the flap door on the bottom to open wide like a gaping maw. Climbing inside the hull and grabbing the steering wheel, which was a video game controller hooked up to a large mass of wiring and panels near the windshield, Capper pulled down on the D-Pad and listened as the vessel whirred to life. The landing gear on the bottom rolled in, and the ship let out bellowing winds below as it took off into the skies, still flying at a leisurely pace not suitable for breaking the atmosphere. Pressing the "A" button on the remote, Capper watched as the blue wings on the side of the ship fanned out, the thursters on back buzzing to life with blue flames. Blasting forward at a speed that almost sent Capper flying out of his seat, fire coated the vessel as it began to travel through Earth's blue stratosphere. Breathing quickly with his heart in his throat as flames coated the windshield, Capper closed his eyes as the vessel trembled in fear of the fire. And as quickly as it came, the rumbling ceased. Opening his eyes, Capper blinked a few times to see the ship floating just above the blue skies of the Earth, the starry sky now in front of him. Wowie.... Space sure was pretty. Taking a moment to appreciate the beauty of the cosmos, Capper was snapped back to reality when warning bells rang in the ship! Looking down to the control panel, Capper grimaced when he saw the thrusters had taken waaay too much gas out of the ship- the tanks were almost empty! Quickly turning the vessel around, the saiyan began to renter the atmosphere, but his ship ran out of gas right when the flames died out again. Making sure his seat belt was buckled, seveal parachutes were deployed from the back of the ship, but it did little to alleviate the speed of the descent, like how the night stars couldn't prevent night from darkening the Earth. Letting out a yell as his ship landed with a thud in the Fukurou Forest, the vessel screeched as it came to a halt, rolling onto it's side somewhat before stopping inches from a large river next to a waterfall. Taking a moment to catch his breath and pace his breathing, Capper shook his head. It was night here... so that meant he was in the west now? Wowie. Still, the saiyan's eyes would roll back into his head from that adrenaline overload and nausea from the rough landing, leaving him unconscious in the crashed ship's helm, vunerable and open. It would be a reeeeal shame if someone found him now...

Camping is not fun.
Just to avoid confusion, it should probably be clarified what it being meant when using the word "camping". This doesn't mean camping as in snuggled up in a cozy little tent with a thermos of hot coco and comfortably covered underneath a warm blanket. It means camping outside as in lying down bareback on the cold and hardened earth, shivering in cold at the slightest wayward breeze, constantly fidgeting as all the tiny bugs and creatures from the wayward beetle to the stalwart ant crawling across your gargantuan body in every single nook and crevice of your form.
That kind of camping wasn't fun, at all.... but guess which kind Tomo was finding himself doing smack dab in the midst of the Fukurou Forest at night. Post being booted from his home in Tomo's Tower, Tomoyo had wandered from place to place, desert to grasslands in search of somewhere else to stay before night fell. Sadly, he was unable to find one and despite a novel meeting in the desert earlier was still without a place to stay as night fell for the 3rd consecutive time since eviction day. Uncomfortably fidgeting in the grass while hastily covering his body with a thin blanket, Tomoyo futilely shivered with his body curled up to preserve the little warmth he had. The roaring of the wildlife at nighttime made sure to keep the child ever awake as he simply lay there with his eyes wide open and unable to catch a lick of sleep.
"Urgh! Why's it gotta be so coooold!" The freezing hybrid complained before being quickly drowned out by the roaring silence of the nocturnal residents. Turning from his side and onto his back, Tomoyo stared up at the sky with his arms folded behind his back. Looking up to the stars, mystified by how beautiful they looked uninhibited by technology or a giant tower, Tomoyo was enamored to say the least.
Then from out of the corner of his eyes, the Saiyan hybrid's pupils dilated in excitement as before his eyes one of the stars began glowing lighter and brighter until it suddenly began moving. It was "A SHOOTING STAR!" Leaping up from his relaxed position while casting the blankets to the side, the exited child was practically hopping down up in excitement. Shooting stars are things that you can make wishes on right! Then they come true! Clasping his hands together, Tomoyo closed his eyes while grinning broadly. Tilting his chin up so that he faced the sky, Tomo spoke his wish with all of his heart. "Um... Mr. Shooting star guy? Can i have a new home too please? ...oh! And if I can have two wishes, can I also have a new friend too! I love making new friends!"
Unbeknownst to the child as he spent his moments wishing to an unknown entity, said "shooting star" containing a panicking Saiyan child of its own missed Tomo by nearly the skin of his head as its flaming form impacted the earth. Trees snapped at the tips, bugs incinerated in the heat, and a deep scar in the earth was all that could signal what had occurred past a loud crash as the burning red hull of the spaceship came to a screeching halt.
"Wha... wow! You work fast!" Turning around, completely oblivious to how close to death he had been, Tomoyo bounded off down the trail of death and destruction in search of his new friend and home. Sliding down a few deep scars of earth and over a few fallen logs, the child would soon be very impressed as his gaze finally landed on the smoking wreckage of Capper's spaceship. "WOAH! A SPACE SHIP!" Tomoyo shouted in awe, piercing the previously silent night as he slid further down the deep trench of earth to the front of the vessel. "Is this gonna take me there?"
Taking care not to fall off and into the expansively sprawling river and waterfall, Tomoyo hoisted a leg onto the dulled metal before using his free arm to push himself further onto the structure. Pausing every other moment to knock on one side or pull at a corner, the hybrid child searched ceaselessly for some sort of door or entrance into the vessel. Finally though, he found it in the form of a hatch flipping open at the press of a button (the door harmlessly clattered off and onto one of the wings quite broken though thanks to large force he used to rip it off its hinges). "This is so cool." Squealing with glee before sliding down through the newly opened hole, Tomo's shoes landed with soft clicks before he found himself standing in what looked to be some sort of darkened corridor. Except for the occasionally flashing red lights and beep to signal some sort of error, the hall was quite black and empty.
Numerous amounts of bumbling in the dark and several broken doors later (not his fault), the tan Human hybrid was admiring the weirdly empty and creepily quiet cockpit. Gravitating for the front ever so slowly, Tomo's eyes widened in surprise as he made out the figure of some sort of person! Their clothes looked human, but the hair left no doubt in mind he was a Saiyan... So did Tomo want to save him? "All Saiyans are jerks! ...but it'd make me a jerk if I left him too right?" Chewing on his bottom lift while mulling over the unconscious boy's body, Tomo finally came to a decision. Stepping close to Capper so that his face was almost level with the outed boy's own; Tomoyo stuck out a single finger on his right hand before poking Capper's soft cheek ever so slightly in hopes of waking him up.
"Hey. Psst. Heeey." If that didn't work, the intensity and frequency of the pokes would intensify bit by bit, matched to mimic the intensity of Tomoyo's voice as well until he'd practically be screaming in Capper's ear. "HEY! WAKE UP! HEEEEEY! PSSSSSST! WAKE UP!"
This could only end well~

The unconscious saiyan would stir somewhat, his tail twitching and eyes tightening shut somewhat. Gritting his teeth, the saiyan could juuuust make out a continuous prodding sensation on the side of his face. Opening his eyes ever so slowly, the saiyan's vision swirled and faded in and out. But he could make out an ever so ominous shadow in front of him, barely lit by the warning lights flashing in the ship! Instantly kicking into panic mode, the saiyan's eyes, almost glowing and visible by his bright green scouter, would widen as he let out a loud yelp, raising a foot to kick at this mystery shadow that probably wanted to kill him! Should the saiyan's startled kick land, the now fragile seat back Capper was lying against would snap back from even the weak force of the mechanic's kick, sending Capper rolling back. After falling down onto the floor, Capper would roll himself into a sitting position, shaking some dust off of his head. He really had to clean up this ship... But that didn't matter! Some mystery thing had intruded! And it wanted to kill him! Making rash assumptions, Capper would quickly dart back, hiding under a narrow gap under the hull's control panel. Should a certain trespassing hybrid approach the saiyan's hiding spot, he'd be met with a flat-out, subhuman hiss from below the machinery. Capper's breathing hastened as he lied down below the narrow gap between the control panel. Why wasn't he dead yet?! The saiyan boy would gulp should he hear this intruder's footsteps approach. Stubborn and flighty as ever, Capper would just inch further into the darkness beneath the central controls, never once taking his eyes off of the dimly lit shadowy figure. Whereas Capper had grown somewhat accustomed to being shocked and being the lesser force among fighters, he wouldn't take seeing something right up against his face during his most vulnerable moments kind The weak saiyan would fall in one hit to even the weakest of fighters, and he knew that crystal clear. Capper would continue to cower beneath the machinery, simply too fearful to even get some words out. He was dead. He was so dead.

Taking notice of the young Saiyan's eyes slowly growing open and widening, Tomoyo paused his finger mid poke as his index appendage poked quite uncomfortably into Capper's cheek. "Hi." Lifting up his other hand in a hesitant half wave, Tomoyo was acting wary of the alien's behavior. His own expression growing into that of a fearful prey, the hybrid's hand shook in anxiety; the flashing lights and sirens did not do well to ease his nerves. "I'm Tomoyo! N-Nice to meet yo-OOOF"
Interrupted mid introduction by Capper's quite rude foot impacting Tomoyo, the surprised hybrid could not do much in response as the surprise attack launched him backwards. Heels screeching against the medal for the moment as Capper's chair completely disconnected in the opposite direction, Tomo yelled in fright before pressing his arms back to stop his momentum on anything! Iron and steel crumpled under his super human strength as Tomo's arms sank a good foot into the front control panel, causing sparks and unnatural machine clicks to emanate from the damaged technology hub. "Oops." Apologizing for what really wasn't his fault, Tomoyo quickly turned his attention back to the inside as his wary eyes scanned over the wrecked ship. "H-HEY! THAT WASN'T NICE!"
Stooping low while following the sound of rustling clothing, Tomoyo quickly located the small Saiyan cowering underneath the main control panel like a cornered animal. As the two weaklings locked eyes, Capper's hiss sent a chill down Tomo's spine and for a second he feared that the weird warrior might attack him! "...hey, wait a second... he DID attack me!" Tomoyo's mind helpfully contributed as the reasoning behind the events suddenly reached sufficient clarity. "Hey! Get out here, meanie!"
"I was just trying to wake you up you jerk!" Picking up a loose but fairly light chunk of metal plating off of the cluttered mess of a ground, the Saiyan hybrid child ripped its remaining corner edge from where it was pinned on the ground before "lightly" tossing it at Capper while he crept in his hiding place. "Come out; and if you hit me again I'm gonna hit you too~"
