Etoru smiled as he drove. He then noticed Capper swerve around to drive backwards, near Etoru's go-kart. Etoru growled at his know-it-all remarks, but before he had a chance to reply, Capper was gone. "Idiot..." Suddenly he saw a bunch of mountains ahead of him. He remembered this place from when he first met Capper. Etoru grinned. "Heh...I have home field advantage...I know this place better than anyone here..." The child drove through the intense fog and bumpy terrain, and made a sharp left into an even bumpier path in his attempts to have a short cut. Should his short cut idea work, he'd cut right out and continue driving with a glare. ---
KP: 1/3 +1
Attempted to take short cut due to knowledge of the area.

CURRENT POWER LEVEL: 20 MULTIPLIERS: N/A GAIN BONUSES: N/A TAGS AND POST ORDER: OOC NOTES: Sorry for the delay! Cave-in obstacles will NOT be allowed for obvious reasons, since it would completely halt most of the racers. If you do try to cause a cave-in in your post, Capper will stop the rocks with his telekinesis long enough for the others to pass through.

Capper swerved his bike around and shifted it into reverse, driving backwards once more while watching the other racers. Man- he should have brought along some popcorn... 921 used his electricity to boost his motorbike into turbo mode, and swerved on a steep wall of a turn, zooming past a few of the others. Collan used his blasts to create a smoky veil, which would surely cause some problems for the racers with the crooked terrain. Capper had little to worry about with his lead as the referee, though. Maeve and Tomoyo didn't seem to try much, and the other racers quickly whizzed past the stick-pogo and race car. It was a shame someone who was taking this seriously fell so far behind, but what could Capper do? With a shrug, he turned his attention to Jormungandr. She and Tekuma seemed to be having quite the power struggle, and Capper was rooting for his reptilian friend. Jor sent a blast of energy Tekuma's way, but the android responded with her own to counter it. Then Etoru.... Wait... Where was Etoru? After heading down a narrow, bumpy shortcut, Etoru would soon find himself even ahead of Capper! The saiyan-human hybrid would see the path heading into a dark cave, with several more adverisements and signs plastered about to signal that this was indeed the right way. Capper had a distaste for caves after his endeavor in Ginger Town, but it was a suitable obstacle for the race. And if anyone tried to cause a cave in this time, Capper would stop it with his telekinesis! Swerving his bike back around, Capper took note of a shape ahead of him in the fog! Narrowing his eyes, the saiyan would flick a few switches on his bike. The skull on front flickered to life, with two boosters flipping out of it's sockets. With one push of a button, Capper would once again zoom past Etoru, giving the child a smug glance as he did so. The fog from the mountains persisted in the cave, making it hard to see. Some of the faster racers might find themselves ramming into walls in the dark mist. One might have been able to make out the sound of trickling water and a roaring waterfall in the darkness as well. Beside the track lied a roaring river rapid which was just barely fenced off by more advertisement signs. Light reached neither wall nor ceiling, confining vision to a small circle of flickering casts by headlights; the inky black water sloshed against a narrow strip of land that disappeared into the darkness before the group, and jagged teeth of stone descend from the shadows above. How would the racers fare in this much harsher environment?

921 came flying off of the rock wall, looking ahead and scanning with his scouter to see where the other racers were. Luckily, he had mostly maintained his lead, with seemingly only one person ahead of him, the small pink man with a tricycle. It seemed the creature had pulled ahead while he was on the wall. He looked around as the terrain began to change, as the racers all came to a cave, with signs stating that they were going the right way. Excellent. 921 pulled the signs out of the ground with his ferrokinesis and turned the signs around, instead now pointing towards the river, indicating that was the correct path to take. With this fog, hopefully, the racers would follow the signs blindly and fall into the river. Picking back up the speed, 921 headed into the cave, going as fast as possible through the cave. But of course, he had no trouble with the fog, for he had his night vision. This should easily give him a lead.

Collan went on, and smug look on his face. Hopefully his little trick had worked. Though as he continued forward he had started to notice the fog around the area as he headed into a cave. Heh, this isn't troubling at all. He had thought to himself, as he pressed a button from one of the machines on his ears. Suddenly a glowing screen appeared in front of him as Collan used one of it's many function to get a better look of his surroundings.
But then he came across two paths where he would stop. Thanks to being able to actually see, he could look down both choices. Someone had made a trick worse than anything Jormungandr would do! Someone had switched the signs! But Collan wouldn't fix this...he had a better idea. If you want someone to fall for this...fine...I'll fall for it. Besides. The hero in training revved up his engine, then going off at top speeds towards the river.
The most dangerous path is usually the shortest! He then fired his Sinjin behind him, going at speeds quick enough to get the bike driving on the water! He continued on, hoping to gain the lead and keep it! If this wasn't going to give him the victory, he had no idea what would.

EGG's little stunt with the barrier ride had boosted him from behind a couple into in front of the cyborg! That worked out way better than EGG could have ever anticipated, as he had originally thought that doing such an unnecessary maneuver would have been a waste of his time, but the fact that he overtook the robot whom he had assumed was in the lead the entire time was such a good mark of success for the pink and blue colored bean-bot. Continuing his arduous task of pedaling to the metal, EGG would notice something odd as he made his way further up into the pack and into the caverns ahead. Where the heck was Etoru? The saibaman would swear that he had seen the Dragon Lady, Tomoyo, and the dark skinned robot that he had passed, but not the very disrespectful boy known as Etoru. Did that mean that his stunt from earlier shotgunned him from far behind all the way to first!? Jeez Loueez, the plant alien had a ways to go before he could consider himself safe in the lead. Which meant that EGG needed to keep others from passing him from this point onward, especially if EGG made it to first place, thus a couple ideas started swirling around in his head. While brainstorming some of his ideas, he was ever so grateful in charging his Egg Barrier, as its glowing charge grew brighter the longer he held it charging around his hand, lighting up enough of the way so that the alien could avoid any dangers that could befall him. Even his position in the race kept him from fumbling whereas others in the race could have tripped up, as he went down the right path before the cyborg behind him could fiddle with it with his Metal Magic. On the right path, EGG could hear the water running in the river right beside him, which when looking upon the water next to him freaked him out, as the fluids running in the river were way too dark. It seemed as if a monster could leap out of those waters at any time and envelope anyone in a slimy black goo. A little distracted from his driving, EGG bumped into the cave wall, nearly losing control of his tricycle due to him unable to keep focused for that short period of time. Although barely losing a little bit of speed, EGG shook his head, needing to keep himself focused on the race at hand. And as a result from him being shaken out of his stupor, he noticed a rather small hole in the correct path, one that was rather small. Heck, he would barely have enough room to get in from despite having the smallest vehicle in the entire race, but the fact that there was a trail of flowing down from this path could only mean it linked to the outside. Possibly a shortcut. Smirking to himself, EGG tucked his head down a little as he entered the small hole, the back of his head getting a little scratched from the small entrance to the secret pathway, but had enough room after said entrance to keep his head tucked without any further damage to his cranium. Soon enough, he would be able to see light again, fresh air being evident as he was pedaling towards the exit of the cave. But where the end of the cave lead to, well, that was to be seen...

"W-wha?!" Maeve's eyes widened as she saw practically everyone zoom past her. How was this possible?! Had she gotten cocky?! She had to get serious. The need to drive and push ahead burned through her veins filling her with a fiery determination! She had to be the fastest! Racing was all she knew in this very instance! So she growled like a feral beast with a primal hunger. Her claws dug into the leather of her steering wheel as she slammed on her clutch. In one fluid motion, her hand clutched her gear stick like the hilt of her blade and she upshifted to the next gear. Like the crashing of her mighty blade she would use this momentum to slam both her feet down on the gas. The Drag-One's engine sputtered to life as fire began to shoot from the back of the exhaust ports. "I'm not out of this race just yet!" She roared as her car shot ahead through the darkness of the cave. The roar of the engine began to fill the cave as her car came up on the two racers before her. The girl on the bicycle and the other demon in the road roller. She felt her glowing eyes burn with pride as she came up on them. "A lesser demon should know to stand aside...When their superior pulls through!" She roared as she opened the 'cockpit' of her hightech racer and stood on the gas. Two of her arms clutched the steering wheel while two more summoned her blade: Fateburn. "I apologize, but I intend to win!" She called out to Tekuma and Jormungander as she hurled the great cleaver like a boomerang. The demonic blade whizzed through the air only to swipe through a cluster of thick stalactites like a hot knife through butter. Her intent was to force them to slow down and swerve out of the way of the raining rocks while she barreled through at top speeds. Regardless of the outcome, she'd hold her hand out casually and 'blink' her weapon back into her hand before sheathing it. It was time to pull back into the top 5

Tekuma zoomed forwards with her eyes intent on the road in front of her; or well, path in front of her if you wanted to be specific. Tomoyo's ki was fading out of her ki sense range, focused more on the race at hand and any possible incoming ki attacks. Maeve yelled and attempted to cause stalactites to rain down onto them, one piercing Tekuma's elbow and causing her to yell in pain. The sharp rocks also hit her in the shoulder as she zoomed onwards, still in pain but nonetheless attempting to win despite the injuries she was sustaining.
Kicking her motorcycle into overdrive, the snake lady in the Bulldozer was falling behind somewhat to the android's relief. Being full droid wasn't that bad anymore; no blood being shed and the natural durability of her machinery allowing her to continue on as if normal despite the pain. ..... I probably should have used my materialization to yknow.. not get stabbed. Oops.

Right shoulder has chunk of sharp rock piercing it through but still useable! Left elbow has the same issue going on.

As Etoru drove, he knew he was far ahead of the others. He smirked when he looked back to confirm his thoughts. No one was behind him. "heh...man...I'm just that good...." The child followed the signs until he eventually saw a cave. Just before the hybrid stepped on the peddle, he heard a slight...rumbling sound. AND THEN ZOOM! Capper just flew by him! Leaving him in the dust...! Etoru growled. "That show off..." HE muttered.
Etoru drove through the cave, and in about a minute, he was already out with still, no one he can see on his tail! He really did blow the lead on this one...! Etoru looked back and laughed. "AHahaha! Sucke--OOF!" Etoru slammed into a tree, completely stopping his momentum of the race. To make things worse...the engine of his go kart stopped cooperating as well. "Are...you...serious! Eghh!!!" The irritated child began pulling and yanking at his own hair in frustration. He was going to need to fix this issue--and fast.
