"There is no need to look so shocked, Hinawa," the sudden grin was broad, cruel as ever, seemingly he'd conjured the comment to grant a rise of her and it had worked, as always. peering to Jor' his grin widened before uttering "I am pleased to meet you, Iam Levlidian, we should spar some time; you seem interesting and I hope to give this young Fox a challenge the next time thus you'll give me ample chance to test my skill," Levlidian looked to the stage as further music coiled from the speakers above, his head bobbing to the beat, "Though no, we don't have this kind of music so far as I am aware, then again i wasn't the social sort for the short stint I was there," the crowd roared and cheered. It seemed they enjoyed the music, the dance of tones and sounds to which created such a savage sound. Levlidian enjoyed it and he looked upon Hinawa; "perhaps we should ask her to play the next time we fight, it would conceive quite the scene don't you think?"
Even in the wake of the devastation wrought on the ground beneath, dancing ensued and the young Saiyan's brow sank to the concept, he observed the complexity of it and frowned further. "Is that what passes as dance on this planet?" he asked quizzically as several souls seemed to bounce in conjunction to the sound. Obsidian eyes flexed and drew back to the singer; some souls began to sing a long and musing this ideal brought Lev' a level of further curiosity. Thus he began to attempt to sing a long unto himself, poorly of course.
This show was fascinating, clearly the woman was flexing and manipulating the Ki about her but in a unique fashion, it burst and streamed with such ample control. One day he'd have to fight her, see how the females of his race fended against a surging bastion of wrath like himself.

The demoness frowned. Spar with him? well, he did seem fairly strong.... she could certainly make worse choices when it came to sparring partners. After a moment, she shrugged. "eh. why not. I'd gladly spar with you some time." She watched as the crowd began to dance, and was about to join in herself despite having no idea how to dance, but when Levlidian began to sing she winced and changed her mind; she wasn't going to dance to that. "The music has been quite diverse so far" she remarked. "and high quality, too. Perhaps I should go to events such as this one more often..."

"Getting some extra training partners... What, are you worried I'll leave you behind in the dust?" With a mean grin, Hinawa made a jab at Levlidian. He really had a one-track mind towards getting stronger... But at least you always knew what he was after. Well, unless he made compliments, she still had no idea why he gave her those all the darn time, that was almost uncomfortable... But also nice. She had trouble understanding herself sometimes, let alone this Saiyan... A Saiyan that didn't know music like this. So either planet Vegeta was one of the most depressing planets ever, or Lev was even less social than she had thought at first. She gave the strange snake-lady another sideways glance, her eyes shifting into red for a short moment. Yeah... she could see why Levlidian would want to fight her...
"If you humor him, don't go easy on him. Lev can take a beating or two. And this event..."
Hinawa turned her full focus back onto the stage. The surging Ki, the melody, the lyrics... She couldn't help it at all. The moment the crowd joined in, Hinawa raised her own voice, joining in - and while Levlidian's singing could probably make a dog cry in pain, hers was the complete opposite. Her voice was clear, high, and carried the melody and pitch perfectly - and she was not holding back on the volume, either. Her entire body seemed to move with the rhythm, as it filled every fiber of her being, resonating with her very soul and Ki - the energy of the fox-girl seemed to move together with the notes and lyrics. It felt, simply put, amazing - just as amazing as fighting against Lev felt, actually - it made her feel ALIVE.
"Wow... yeah, if there's more concerts like this and you see em, give me a call." nodding in agreement with Jormungandr, the kitsune could feel some sweat rolling down her brow from simple excitement. "I'll return that courtesy, of course. I've heard live music before, but this... was amazing, every single one of them. I'm quite good with a guitar myself, but this woman is better than me. No shame in admitting that..." Her fingers moved slightly, still figuring out some of the riffs she had heard. More boring, mainstream songs she could copy right away if she wanted to - there was nothing special to them. This Saiyan's music was different.

The music’s ending chords – her song’s ending growls – marked what would the end of her public performance. It was a little saddening, to be honest, that it would come to such a close already. But, then again, Endivia had at the very least enjoyed herself to a degree far greater than normal. To feel such adrenaline in her veins was almost an alien sensation despite its familiarities. Performing on such a scale was ecstasy in one of its finest forms and under no circumstances would she have passed up the opportunity if it was opened to her again in the future. With a confident smile upon her face, surrounded by the untold energies of an excited audience, ‘Chicory’ was back in business!
“Thank you, ladies and gentlemen! Thank you, Satan City!” she announced, somewhat breathless but otherwise composed: “It’s been a pleasure to play again!”
Seems like I might have to build up a bigger playlist for next time… Hopping down from the makeshift stage that was the marble borders of the park’s fountain, the Saiyaness revelled in the success of her latest display of musical and now lyrical prowess. Tohnari, the ebon guitar which she now secured upon her back, still seemed to quiver with excitement as the last vestiges of channelled Ki dissipated into the surroundings. Now she was faced with an entirely different quandary, but one she was not all too unfamiliar with. A youth approached her, an individual of decent height and perhaps still of schooling age.
“C- Can I have your autograph?” “Huh? Sure,” she replied. It was nothing short of strange to be asked such a question. Even in what might have been considered the prime of her musical career, Endivia had never been too fond of the ideology of certain fans. Nonetheless, the human ritual of receiving signed merchandise – or even just having a star etch their name upon something as mundane as a tee-shirt – had progressively grown upon her. It was not exactly very kind to say no to an adoring fan. While any other Saiyajin might have done so, this musical mademoiselle could not help but submit to custom and graciousness. Offered a pen and notebook by the teenage rebel, she quickly scribbled her chosen stage name upon the open page, taking a moment to give her own handwriting a rather awkward look. For someone with such dexterity, her calligraphy was nothing short of caffeinated spider scrawl.
Hey! At least it was legible!
About six signatures later, the crowds had dispersed. The older audiences likely had work to attend or groceries to shop for, whilst the younger end of the audience probably had school – or at least the more reputable students did. Fortunately, this meant that the guitarist now had some freedom in what she did. The issue, however, was what to do next? Even if the people of the park had taken a new shine to her presence, humanity and its accompanying races were still a little disdainful for those who came from Vegeta. Maybe her efforts would help to further salve those injuries in the long run?
“Well, if I’m not the only Saiyan here,” she muttered: “I might as well go and see what he’s doing here…?” Dark eyes quickly sought out the man whose brief outburst had threatened to interrupt her performance. Soon, her gaze settled upon a triumvirate of bizarre individuals. Amongst them was a fellow Saiyajin, but he was not the only abnormality. Whilst the one girl might have seemed an otherwise normal Zoanthrope, the third individual was nothing short of peculiar. A woman’s body coupled with the features of a snake was not something Chicory had encountered before and, while her knowledge of certain sapient aliens was somewhat diverse, this one stood out among the crowds. Her taupe tail wove itself around the guitar’s shoulder strap like some sort of sash as she approached with nonchalance in her gait.
This kind of curiosity’s going to get me into more trouble, someday… Halting just a couple of yards from the strange arrangement, Endivia gently cleared her throat. Her focus quickly shifted from one to the other, reading each individual based on little more than their general mannerisms. Admittedly, the only one who was remotely open like a book was the male, but that was more due to the fact that he shared her racial blood. Everything about his appearance suggested that of a typical proud Saiyan warrior, from his gruff expressions to his stance. Kami knows she had seen enough of that to be able to recognise it with just a simple glance. Even so, she had not approached in order to be confrontational. Her wrath was something few provoked.
“What’s up?” she asked, casual and cool…

The grin levlidian revealed could only be described as partially manic and overtly amused; "Oh hinawa you know you're the only rival for me, but there's no shame in having a training with other on the side right?" The mock was overly ambitious but he enjoyed the banter by adding a little Saiyan flare. "Besides she looks strong don;t you want a crack at that?" he thumbs a gesture to Jor' and laughs loudly. It was in this moment he became aware the music had stopped and a clearing of the throat soon saw his attention drawn upon the once performing female.
It was a welcome surprise, he'd contemplated simply soaring on to the stage to request a bout, yet Hinawa had intercepted that particular train of thought, a chill met the air but Lev's fluttering mane was all that betrayed it upon his person.
"Well, well, the star of the day draws to our little conversation; I enjoyed your show, are you as powerful as you seem?" falling from the bench he;d endulge himself with a broad stride to her, his meaty hand extended from the short but stocky form he boasted; a hand for her to shake in greeting. "Levlidian, and to whom do I speak?"
(apologies for the shortness, bit of writers block)

Can You Hear Me, Satan City?
Jormungandr chuckled. "I won't" she assured Hinawa when the woman told her not to go easy on Levlidian. The serpentess was fairly sure that if either of them was going to hold back in a sparring session, it was the saiyan warrior, since he was noticeably stronger than the reptilian fiend. As the crowd dispersed, the demoness glanced at the musician, and blinked, surprised, when she saw that the singer was approaching them. She rolled her eyes as Levlidian spoke to the performed; even she was fairly sure she could think of less arrogant and presumptuous ways to start a conversation than that. When the warrior finished talking, she strode forward, smiling slightly, and introduced herself. "greetings. I am Jormungandr. I enjoyed your music."

"Well I wouldn't say no to a chance for it, Lev." answering his question on if she wouldn't also like to take a crack at Jormungandr, actually giving a short smirk. With the music ending, Hinawa barely held back a loud yawn - in a way, getting that swept away in music was actually a tiring and great experience all on its own, though it really called back to her mind how she should really play again herself. Maybe she could even somehow coax Levlidian into joining her on that plan - he'd probably make a good drummer... as long as he didn't bust the drumsets the moment he tried using them, of course.
Hinawa kept her eyes on the star of the concert as she got off of her makeshift stage. She was a bit surprised that the Saiyan actually headed over to the three, and of course, Levlidian had to put his foot down his own mouth again, as always. With a bemused smirk, she stepped forward as well to Lev's other side and nudged him in the side. "Remember what I told you about women and guys who are way too impatient?" She shifted her full attention over to the woman that had walked over to them and nodded.
"Name's Hinawa Hyoukai. Nice playing up there. Isn't too often that I see someone that's better than me, actually. Do you have an idea as to when and where you'll play again?" asking with a smirk on her face, Hinawa hoped to get an answer - listening to music played with a lot of heart behind it made her own desire to play just burn brighter again.

“Well, well,” came a somewhat cocky answer. “The star of the day draws to our little conversation.”
So he’s arrogant and patronising? Go figure… Somewhat discomforted by the presence of a fellow Saiyan – a male one nonetheless – Endivia provided him little in the way of attention. To be frank, she was likely applying far too many a stereotype to the scar-faced space warrior, for which she felt a small ounce of guilt. Branding all of her kinfolk in the same manner was nothing short of hypocritical, given her own so far semi-successful attempt at breaking away from their racial normalcy. Even so, her archetypal assessment was quickly clarified to be unsurprisingly accurate when the Saiyajin – ‘Levlidian’ – asked her the age old question.
“Why?” the entertainer asked, eyeing the presented palm: “My name’s Chicory – my real name’s Endivia.” Surrendering to common courtesy, she accepted the man’s grip. Though comparatively short and stocky, Levlidian was as powerfully built as any average warrior from the world of Vegeta. His muscles were toned and bulged slightly with every motion, but clearly held a latent power deep within the core of his frame. On the taller side, the dark-haired demoiselle actually stood a bit above him, but her physique was something of a contrast. Lither, sleeker, the typical strength of a Saiyan seemed to be somewhat lacking, but looks alone were oft hard to judge by. It was the strength of her returned handshake that would be the decisive factor, though she purposely refrained from maintaining contact for any longer than she might have deemed necessary.
“Remember what I told you about women and guys who are way too impatient?” uttered the second individual, giving the rather forward fellow a possibly sharp nudge to the side. This was the girl with a distinctly more Earthling look to her, though her own introductions were preceded by those of the most unique of all present. Serpentine, scaly of skin and yet somehow graceful and elegant in appearance, the third woman stepped forth and offered her own short but certain hello.
“Greetings, I am Jormungandr,” she said: “I enjoyed your music.” “Thanks!” Practically beaming at this strange soul’s honesty, Chicory struggled somewhat to avoid seeming a little too prideful about her performance. To have had such an enthralled audience at her beck and call had done wonders for her confidence, but an unusual individual presenting such simple words had a far more profound effect upon her state of mind. The closest comparison to Saiyan pride that she exhibited, the Saiyaness adopted something of a sturdier and stronger stance, expressing with body language that which she did not really feel the need to with words. Quite simply, she deemed herself the best at what she did.
“Isn’t too often that I see someone that’s better than me, actually,” added the other. This girl, whose name was Hinawa, presented something of an air of confidence different to that of Levlidian’s own arrogant presentation. Her words alone suggested a lot about who she was, and the simple fact that she currently shared a conversation with a fellow lover of music was far more enticing to the taupe-tailed traveller than any test of strength. Appreciation of music was one thing, but being able to share in the passion of it was an entirely different matter.
“I haven’t thought about it. I used to play a lot more regularly, but then other issues got in the way,” she answered. A part of her could not help but cast her dark eyes briefly towards the man of her own blood, remembering the fact that it was men like him whose actions had formed the glass ceiling on her way to stardom. Looking back to Miss Hyoukai, she winked: “Either way, I’m back in business – almost. I don’t think you’ll have to wait long before I hit the stage again. All I need to do is find a bit more inspiration, I guess…”

The grin faded with the sudden arousal of his guttural growl for the nudge, he flared a defiant glare at Hinawa followed by a bestial snort, "No need for that one, I'm appreciating another Saiyan tugging away from the norm' our species tends to trudge. Besides, i didn't see you complaining when I offered to spar with you," Flickering his eyes to Jor' in turn he'd suddenly pat her on the shoulder and draw her closer to the conversation without so much as a 'join us' but the action spoke far more volumes than a simple request. The way Endivia responded didn't seem to bother him, a usual response more than likely especially from those who aren't aware of or are far too familiar with a Saiyan's typical greeting.
Surprisingly, he didn't pursue the question she'd appointed in reply and instead allowed his fellow Saiyan to involve herself in other conversation to which he observed with a placid calm. The crowds themselves had diverted about the conversation departing in their own time.
"Well I may need to swing by to listen the next time if you have this little Fox up there with you, from the sounds of it y'might actually make a decent duo. Though I do have to congratulate you on developing a skill with your hands other than battle," applying his palm to the back of his mane, the young Saiyan began to scratch nonchalantly. "I asked my question because, obviously, I fight and train the vast majority of my time away and it's a nice switch to find new folks to test myself against. Earth has been good to me so far but I have little more than my combat ability to share in return so why not get better at it?"
With a gesture of his thumb to Hinawa, "How else am I going to keep up with Jabby and Jor' here?" the grin he wore turned playful and the scratching hand dove with his gesturing paw to rest at his side. The involvement of the Kitsune seemed to correct his usual methods, seemingly holding an influence over him he was utterly unaware of but again he'd fold his arms courting a broader spell from the bastion that was his form.
