It had been only a few days since his training with Noxa and Rafar. The fight had taught him things about his style that needed fixing, and he was determined to fix them however he could. Yet for now it was time to focus on something else. Food. He headed into East Capitol once again, given the task to purchase Groceries for the farm he currently worked on.
His shopping was rather uninteresting to say the least. Just Routine stops here and there as he made his way around the large eastern City. The Arcosian put the capsules that had his purchases away in a pocket of his heavily weighted cloak, before he decided to indulge himself in something he had been holding off on since he arrived. Ice Cream. He had been curious since he first saw it advertised, but decided today was the day.
He headed into the ice cream parlor and looked about slowly, noting the various flavors and such. It was going to be a difficult choice for sure, but after observing the various customers ahead of him and listening to the flavors they purchased he decided Vanilla would be the best course of action. So upon purchasing his ice cream cone he headed outside, staring at it awkwardly. "...Now how do I eat this?" He wondered to himself.
Yet another food run! This time, Capper brought company. One of his own robots accompanied him this time, now that he had finally got off his butt and fixed it up. With the droid perched on his shoulder, Capper eyed a certain ice cream stand from afar. They did have ice cream on Vegeta, but everyone got brain freezes from eating it since you always had to eat it very quickly before it melted from the blistering heat of the red planet. Or at least that's how it worked in his own home.
"Alighty, Plexbit. We go in and out. I've actually got Zeni this time!" The Plexbit, as Capper called the droid, gave a quick salute wit it's front leg, now knowing thr game plan. Walking up and passing a certain arcosian, the saiyan walked up to the stand, his tail wrapped around his waist. "Excuse me, can I have uh... Like, seven of the mint chocolate chips?" Capper set a wad of Zeni down on the counter, but the merchant just shook his head. "Sorry, buddy, look at the sign." Turning to his left, Capper noticed a sign plastered against the window saying "WE DO NOT SERVE SAIYANS" Capper groaned, giving a pleading look to the vendor. "Oh come on! I know our appetite is big but still!" The man behind the counter shook his head, looking down at the tiny saiyan. "Sorry little guy, but I really don't want to get fired. Move along, now."
Capper groaned, beginning to walk away fron the ice cream stand, slumped somewhat. He unwrapped his tail and let it swing behind him. Putting a hand on the small, spherical robot on his shoulder, the saiyan looked at the droid and spoke. "Well, what now?" The cyan-colored probe leaned a little to the side, eyeing a nearby arcosian. It new Saiyans and Arcosians did not exactly get along, and protecting Capper was it's prime derivative. The saiyan had not noticed the blue and gray arcosian- yet.
Lord Retsu had been about to try his first bite, when he noticed Capper. He blinked, for a moment not even believing his eyes. A saiyan that was shorter than his suppressed form? Was that even possible? Either way his Curiosity was perked. He'd watch the interaction between the Salesman and the Saiyan, though it was less than ideal. As the Saiyan began to walk away from the vendor Retsu would put his tail in Capper's way. "Not so fast saiyan..." He said. "Stay right here." He'd walk past Capper, heading to the stand. After a few words, and a threat of complaint from Retsu, he soon returned to Capper with what he had wanted. Seven of the Mint Chocolate Chips. He'd hold them out to the small saiyan with his tail before speaking up. "You are a saiyan and you allow yourself to be pushed around by humans... You are a strange one."
He chuckled to himself before narrowing his eyes. He brought a hand up to his scouter quickly, tapping the button to scan the Saiyan before he blinked. "T....Twenty?" He asked, completely taken off guard. "Only Twenty?" He frowned. "That doesn't seem right at all." He'd tap his scouter several times and each time it said Twenty.
"Either my scouters broken or you are suppressing your power level... There's no way a saiyan could be that weak. It shouldn't be possible." Regardless of that however He shook his head.
"Oh right. Where are my manners?" He'd bow his head. "I am Lord Retsu. Whom might you be?"

"Hi--" Capper spoke timidly when the Arcosian approached him, only to walk right past. "Okay, Bye!" He spoke, confused. The robot on his shoulder beeped a few times, as if processing the situation still. Capper wasn't completely fond of arcosians, but nor was he of Earthlings- and some of them were alright. He had to at least make an effort to be friendly around the age old saiyan nemesis. They were like cats and dogs- old enemies that never quite got along.
Surprise and confusion came to Capper when he saw that the Arcosian had bought him exactly what he ordered! Well that was nice- but why, exactly? "Uh.. Thanks? I mean, I'd really didn't wanna create a scene yelling and all over there. And yeah, I get called weird a lot. I'm used to it at this point. " Capper spoke, looking away and scratching the back of his head. He was the opposite of what one would expect from a saiyan. Weak instead of strong, cowardly instead of brave, but tactical instead of meat-headed. His calm judgement and modesty were features not prominent in most saiyans.
However, this blue and black Arcosian seemed surprised when he scanned his power. Twenty? Well that was five more than when he last scanned himself, which was like, a year ago. Hooray for progress! "Sorry, buddy, that's all there is. There's nothing for me TO suppress- I ain't a fighter, like you, Mr.Twenty-Six-Thousand-Power-Level." Capper had already scanned this Arcosian's power level himself in response. This guy could snap him like a twig, but everyone he met so far usually could. Why were there so many fighters on this planet that wanted to talk to him, of all people? Capper didn't think he was that interesting.
The Arcosian then introduced himself as Lord Retsu- oh snap, a lord? Well then. Giving his introduction in response while the drone on his shoulder seemed to be eyeing the arcosian- despite a lack of eyes. " Uh, I'm Capper. Capper Logan Hofferson- Engineer and Technician of the Saiyan Solar Empire." He spoke giving a quick head-bow in response- that did seem like the right thing to do in the moment. Arcosians could transform on the spot, and Capper liked having his feet on the ground. Still, he was somewhat regretting adding that last bit after it came out of his mouth. Was he going to get his butt kicked because he was part of the SSE? Maybe. Probably. He didn't know at this point- Everyone on the Earth was so hard to predict!
Retsu let the Saiyan speak, keeping himself quiet as he looked him up and down. He cleared his throat when Capper finished and spoke himself. "It was no scene. Merely a quick talk, and a transaction." He nodded. "Now you have your... seven mint things, and I have my cone. Everyone is happy."
He chuckled about hearing his own power level before shaking his head. "No doubt you know of arcosian's other forms. This is only five ten percent of my full power. Though, some people don't know about the other forms and its funny when they get scared when I tell them that." He shrugged. "Gives me a laugh every time."
"A... Saiyan Technician?" He asked. "...I didn't know the monkeys could even count past five, let alone have technicians..." He narrowed his eyes at the small Saiyan. His eye wandered to Plexbit before he frowned. " I see..... So basically what your telling me is you are vastly more intelligent than your knuckle thumping superiors?" He chuckled softly. "That's a good thing I suppose. It means you certainly aren't stupid enough to challenge me to a fight."
Retsu stopped however and took a bite of his ice cream. He stared down at Capper as the cogs in his mind turned before an idea sprang to him. "So you are a Technician, that means you are good with technology. I have a proposition for you. I found an old saiyan pod while exploring this planet. Its in bad condition, but I believe it can be repaired to a condition to where it will fly once more. I however am not very tech savvy. If you come to work for me, I can give you shelter here on earth, as well as free home cooked meals. This invitation will also be available after you finish the pod as well. That is, if you accept."
"Yeah. I've seen my fair share of rather... one sided beatdowns. Not a huge fan of fighting myself, but it's entertaining to see others duke it out sometimes." Capper spoke when this Retsu fellow spoke of his other forms, and how some people didn't know of the Arcosian species' extra transformations. They were no Super Saiyans, but many of them could go toe to toe with the Saiyans. Even after the fall of Arcose, Capper wasn't surprised to see that there were more warrior-type Arcosians around.
Needless to say, Retsu seemed a little surprised, or maybe confused that there was even such thing as a Saiyan Technician. Capper was pretty sure he was one of the very few- or even the only one around. Nodding in response when the Arcosian said that he was more intelligent than the rest of his brethren, Capper spoke once more. "Yup. I'm experienced in robotics, coding, and whatnot. While MOST of those cloddy warrior-types are practicing evil laughs in the shower and rushing into fights, I'm prioritizing tactics and logic."
But his intelligence was a good thing, as the arcosian said. Capper wasn't stupid enough to go picking fights with others- he knew how weak he was. A bead of sweat dripping down his forehead, the saiyan looked to the side and spoke timidly in response to the whole "fighting" thing. "Y-yeah, I'd rather NOT do that."
Then things got especially interesting. Retsu had a proposition for Capper- he would give him shelter if he could help fix his pod. Capper had found a broken pod himself after the Invasion, but it was broken beyond repair. "Hm..." Capper thought about the offer. He could really use shelter and food- with his appetite, it was very hard to just get the bare minimum for food recently. The robot on his shoulder crawled off, standing on the ground and seemingly looked up at it's creator. This guy didn't seem so bad, and it would be another ally closer to Ayumu getting him off this planet... "While I'm pretty sure I'll be headed off back to Vegeta within the month-- I've been stranded on this annoying planet since the invasion, don't ask how I've survived thus far-- I guess I can fix your pod for you. I'm no rocket scientist, but I will see what I can do with it." Capper decided. Better make the best of his last few weeks on Earth, and take a few chances. Still, he had a few concerns... "But a quick question, where exactly IS your shelter? Are there other people there?"
"You've survived thus far, because your power level is so low you blend into a crowd. " He said. "If I hadn't scanned you my scouter wouldn't of even picked you up normally. Though that's probably my fault, my scouter is only set to one thousand and over." He shook his head before finishing up his cone. Once finished he'd speak up again. "I currently live and work on a farm not too far from this city. I'm actually here to pick up supplies. There is a family that works on the farm, but they are very kind and very accepting. I've been allowed to live in their barn for the time being, and that's where I keep my pod."
"Either way, my offer stands. You get a place to stay, and something to do to keep you occupied. You wont even have to work in the field." He crossed his arms and smiled. "I think its a rather nice deal to be honest. Perhaps the most generous one I've done since I arrived here on earth."
Retsu spoke once more, regarding how Capper survived thus far. Most Scouters and people who could sense ki would not care to investigate the common power of twenty. "Yup, being a weakling DOES have its perks sometimes. Still, a ton of the earthlings are still salty over the Invasion! I mean, seriously. They didn't even give me my ice cream earlier!" Capper brought up one of his main gripes about the Earth. Many of them had a vendetta against the Saiyans for nearly taking over the Earth. "I don't get it! They WON! But why?!? Just... Uuuugh! Nevermind!" Capper shook his head, clearly frustrated about the subject still. Earthlings were something he'd probably never get completely used to, but some of them were okay. As a whole though, no. He still hated them and the earth.
After that, the saiyan put his hand to his chin, thinking about the arcosian's offer and trying to forget about his hatred for the Earth. Well, if the farm family was nice to an Arcosian, would they be nice to a Saiyan? Hopefully. He wouldn't even have to work in the field- it was an offer he couldn't refuse. "...Alright. I'll fix your ship for you, so long as you provide me with this shelter and the parts I will need to fix it. It probably won't be cheap, depending on what is broken. I'll have to take a good look at it first before we can go out to get new parts."
"The reason the Earth one is because people seem to think the earth is easy to take..." He said. "Its not. In my short time here I've learned of powers that far exceed that of any I've ever seen. My ally Walker.... He has a power level over nine million." He said. "And apparently he's not the strongest on earth." The lord crossed his arms and frowned. "The earth is a far more formidable Foe that anyone could have imagined." Retsu clenched his fist at the very though. Even with his true form he still wasn't even a match for those that were considered heroes and the like. They were all so much more powerful than he ever could have imagined.
Retsu would stay quiet after that, allowing capper to mull over his decision before he spoke up. "You need not worry about parts. There are plenty here on earth. I just lack the knowledge to repair them." He tapped his scouter a few times before it would send Capper's Scouter the coordinates to the farm. "There you are. I've sent you the coordinates to the barn. You should be able to find it no problem." [Sorry for the Delay.]
