I was thinking of just throwing racial abilities out the window. I really like your suggestions Kizuki.
THe thing about links is they were made to sorta limit how many people you could fuse with right off the bat. They could probably start out cheap until you're paying like.. 15k for each one.

Now, something that I see as a problem for anyone fighting against fusions... Senzu beans. I mean, since these 500k potential Fusions are pretty much up there in their power, then anyone fighting against them would be royally screwed if they pushed that fusion to the verge of defeat (BARELY, might I add)...
Then the fusion pops a Senzu Bean, and recovers all of its damage. That sounds complete asinine to me that the fusions would be able to do this, so I propose this idea ~ "Fusions can not use items at all."
If they want to use items, then they un fuse like normal people.

Big thoughts after giving it some time to sit:
1) I'm still not a huge fan of fusion 2) If we do do it this way, each additional "link" past the first one needs to cost the full price, or close to, of the fusion band. 3) I think it should have an upper cap of 500k PL. 4) I think it should be more expensive, within the upper range of purchasable items. 5) See 1).
I don't know if I want to implement something like the fusion gimmick on a site focused on singular, written narrative rather than a manga-panelled platform.

I'm not liking the idea of being able to fuse with multiple different people by building links; now that I think about it. DB Fusions is able to do it because it's a video game and has more of an rpg/action game system to work with then here. I'm just wondering how we'd be able to go beyond 1-2 fusions per player without entirely getting confused or having something go wrong later with it.
If a person makes a fusion it probably should be only with up to two people and only those they have threaded with X number of times to build trust up with them on top of paying Zeni. That way a person can't be like, "Oh, look at me I have this super cool wrist band I can fuse with other people with. Go buy one and we can try it out!" I feel like there needs to be some form of clear, mutual trust between characters for this to work out.
Potara and Namekian fusion work with trust established and so does the Fusion Dance.

"Potara work with trust established"
No it doesn't. It works with whoever puts the earrings on. You don't need trust.

Can confirm with Kaula on that one. Hell, the two Kai who fused because of Potaro were more or less tricked into that fusion. Same thing with Fusion dance, except with the dance it means that both of the dancers have to by in sync entirely. They don't need to actually trust each other, but be able to move in sync with the other ^.^

Didn't Goku and Vegeta spend a good time arguing though over using them or not? If Vegeta hadn't thought he could win with Goku by putting them on he wouldn't have put them on in the fight against Buu.

Gonna compile a lot of these suggestions and update it sometime during the weekend, including the char template sheet xforms multipliers.
