Articho was smashing buttons on the console of the ship. Setting the autopilot to land in some clearing and making sure it would shut itself down when it did, making the ship's computer run a diagnostic, finishing his jacket's dry cleaning, and a million other things. He had sensed multiple power levels shoot up in quick succession and he knew the fighting had begun. With a final button press, the hybrid dashed out of the cockpit, grabbing his jacket on the way out, and slammed his hand into the door lock. The door began to slide open as he threw his jacket on, painfully slow in his hurried state. He could tell the situation was getting far more out of hand the longer he didn't involve himself. A few new power levels had arrived onto the scene, one of them being very large. And familiar.
Mayze.
A familiar foe. Articho was beginning to think of the Saiyan as his rival, given how often they faced off since that first meeting. Not so long ago, and yet, so much had changed. Of course, the hybrid had to admit he felt some excitement at the chance of facing off against him again. Their last bout hadn't ended with the two of them really duking it out, something Articho wanted to make up for. The chance could possibly arise from the situation, if Mayze happened to want to interfere in his own pursuit of Arias. So far, it didn't look like Articho had any allies down there. Ah well. What can you really do about that?
The door finally finished opening up. A strong breeze blew through the new opening, blowing Articho's hair and clothes wildly. Without hesitation, he leapt from the ship and fell, head first towards the ground. Wind whistled past his ears as the hybrid stared at the quickly approaching ground, stone faced. A surge of power ran through his body, accompanied by a flash of gold as the young warrior ascended to his Super Saiyan state. Though he didn't like it, Articho knew he had to go all out from the beginning of he wanted to finish this quickly. The ground grew ever closer and in a quick motion, the hybrid flipped himself over and landed on his feet, breaking the stone beneath his shoes. A loud crack echoed through the area as he looked up from his crouched position. Mayze and his squad were to his left and another man that he didn't know stood at the entrance to a house, where more energy signatures resided.
"Long time, no see," Articho said to Mayze without a glance before looking back to Alexander. "You're in my way," he hissed as he dashed towards the man guarding the house's entrance, almost to quick to see. He aimed to grab onto Alexander's face and push his back into the stone wall behind him, aiming to knock him out or at least, take him out of the fight for a little bit.

Pin gritted his teeth as Arias jumped at Kay-El, attacking savagely. He fought the urge to get between the two - Kay could handle herself and would almost certainly be fine. Arias had spent too much Ki on him to so quickly turn around and bring it to bear on Kay, and a basic sword attack would likely leave anything more than a scratch on his little sister. He began to reposition himself, looking for a good opening to take a shot, when he heard a little commotion and a very familiar voice from outside.
"Kay, I leave this in your hands for the moment. I know you won't disappoint me."
With that, Pin took off out of the house. He came to a dead stop just past the threshold of the ruined door. General Mayze had indeed made an appearance, his golden aura flaring as he seemed to be threatening Alex. Alex, the brave soul, seemed ready to rise to the occasion and fight the General. This, no, this would NOT do. Pin raised his free hand towards the General.
"Alex, stand down. This is General Mayze of the Solar Saiyan Empire and one of my allies. There's no need to fight him."
He turned his attention towards the General, the man with whom he'd fought on Namek. The man who had seen first hand how far Pin would go in the name of the Empire and the Queen. He lowered his hand and approached Mayze more closely, standing close to him in a familiar, but respectful manner.
"General, it's an honor to see you again. I know this looks like an absolute clusterfuck, but know that I have this under control. Inside that house is a fugitive from intergalactic law, a Saiyan woman by the name of Arias. She quietly defected from the Empire some time ago, only to commit crimes on Earth and be brought to justice there by the Galactic Patrol. The Patrol, having few options on Empire soil, hired my and my White List to bring her to justice in whatever way we can. We attempted to talk this out with her, but she became hostile almost immediately. It's unfortunate, but my operative should have no trouble ending this. This human is with us, and was tasked with watching the entrance by my operative to ensure that we are not...interrupted."
It was at this point that another Saiyan showed up, acknowledging Mayze and then promptly jumping Alex in an attempt to bring the human down fast. Pin raised an eyebrow - he certainly hoped that Alex could handle this new challenger.
"I'm assuming this clown isn't with you, General. In either case, I ask you and your men to stand down. You can remain here and supervise if you wish, or you can take up arms with us and help us put this treacherous woman down quickly, but I ask that you do not stand in our way. I ask that you remember who I am, that you remember how I've given my life for the interests of our Empire and our Queen. I ask that you let that knowledge of my loyal service inform your decision on how to proceed here."
With that, Pin holstered his pistol and took off his helmet. He looked Mayze in the eye, his face wearing an expression of determination. _____________________ +1 KP for no tech use KP 2/3

As Arias attacked, it was all Kay could to to avoid being hit. Ducking down to avoid a blow from a sword (when did Arias get a sword?) that aimed to take her head off, it nicked the lower bow in her hair instead and the purple ribbon drifted down to land on the floor of Arias’ house now in two pieces. The long braid of midnight blue hair slowly started to unravel into the curly mass it was before Nana did her hair on the way here. Another of the sword swipes hit her in the leg, leaving a nasty-looking cut that probably looked worse than it actually was.
The sound of voices outside didn’t really concern her - she trusted Alex to take care of it and Nana to help with any distractions anyone could need, even if the voice of that stuck up General Mayze was one of them. Whatever, her target was in here with her and Kay, as an operative of The White List, intended to finish the job.
At Pin’s parting words she showed no outward signs of acknowledgement, just focused on dodging Arias’ attacks. Through the nonexistent door she heard Pin trying to explain the situation to Mayze, that proud, arrogant, snooty General they’d picked up back on Namek - he more or less ignored her existence back then and it had colored her opinion of him for the worse. Sure, he noticed her for the briefest of moments only to sort of inquire about her identity, but once given he was back to haughtily ignoring her and obviously wishing she hadn’t been on board.
Biased, her? Naw, surely not… Then again, Kay wasn’t the type to hold grudges so if she encountered the General again later and all was well, it would all wind up water under the bridge.
Some other weirdo showed up, someone she didn’t know, but again she had to focus on Arias and not the goings on outside.
In all of that she never dealt Arias any physical blows of her own, focusing on maneuvering defensively and dodging the ones Arias threw her way as she continued to charge her Ki. -- KP: 0/3 Continuing to charge. 200% this turn, 300% next turn.

Post by Arias on May 8, 2016 15:23:03 GMT
(OOC: She got a sword a few days ago.)
Arias was tired. She'd spent more than she should on Pin only for him to dodge her attack. The super saiyan mother had honestly just wanted to be free, to not be judged and life a life in peace. No matter where she went, she only brought death and destruction to all who were near her. As a result, she stepped back and examined her blade, before looking at Kay-El with a smile on her face, a deranged, sick smile. Turning her blade on herself, Arias pressed it to her torso. But as a last-minute ploy, Arias suddenly blasted the ground and caused an eruption of dust to form in the room.
A choking, thick dust was what Arias needed for an opportunity. Throwing caution to the wind. Arias dashed quickly behind Kay-El and hoping she didn't have ki sense, attempted to drive the blade through Kay-El's back. This was a last moment effort, a last ditch. Her one chance to kill the operative that hired her, that betrayed her trust. Arias felt hurt, like Kay had betrayed her. She was not interested in anyone else, except the one person she thought had honestly been a friend only for Kay to stab Arias in the back. Sensing Articho and someone else entirely, along with Kay's nana and the male she'd brought with her, Arias felt horribly outnumbered and as a result, doomed.
Regardless if the stab through the back didn't work, Arias quickly flees outside to attempt to get away from Kay and her charge. Arias was breathing heavily, hunched over slightly with her golden blade in her hands. Her torso rose and fell, and the pregnant mother was about ready to collapse from the exhaustion of her Super Saiyan state. Dropping to one knee, she panted slightly as sweat ran down her face.
D..damn it... these kids.. I can't keep Super Saiyan up.. I.. I have to live.. for them.. I came here to get away from everything, so they didn't have to suffer.. but now, I'm probably going to die anyway.. either way.. I might as well turn myself in. There's no way I'm getting out of this alive, and I don't want my children to die because of my actions.
Arias stood up, walking over to near Mayze and Pin, and as she walked the warrior female powered down, the exhaustion of Super Saiyan causing her to collapse onto the dirt when she did not think it would. A thump would sound as Arias fell unconscious onto the dirt, the drain of SSJ too strong for her, and the added drain of the twins. What happened next was all up to the others, but Arias would more than likely be killed.

The corners of his mouth twitched up, “Stronger than you think.”
He allowed the golden flames of energy to roll out in waves in front of him. He took his scouter off his eye, holding it delicately in his palm. He suddenly clenched his fist, smashing the advanced eyewear to pieces. He dropped the pieces to the ground, and shifted into a combat stance, “Brave,” he smirked.
Mayze nearly charged the human, however, a familiar voice stopped him. Pin. It had been awhile since he had last seen the powerful android. Mayze has fought with him on Namek where the android had been destroyed. The super saiyan had still crushed the traitorous Devil Knight’s despite the death of Pin.
The general crossed his arms, a smile on his face a Pin relayed the details of his mission. Supposedly the owner of the house was a deserter of the Empire, and Pin had been tasked, along with his sister Kay-El, to either detain or kill the defector. Tasked by the Galactic Patrol that is, an enemy of the empire that the android so eloquently wore a cape of. ‘Twas odd that the GP would hire mercenaries to do their job of ‘protecting’ the galaxy. You’d think they’d do the deed himself. Oh well.
The general opened his mouth, ready to speak as Pin finished his explanation. However, he was once more interrupted, this time by a familiar enemy. The rather annoying voice of Articho rung out behind him, stating his intentions. Rather brave for enemy of the Saiyan Empire would make an appearance on the capitol, but he was likely after the same thing Pin was. Apparently the GP had announced their intentions to the galaxy or somthing, although the hybrid wasn’t of the killing type, perhaps he was here for another reason?
He frowned as Articho charged the human. In most cases he’d join the fray and put the hybrid down, but he had to clear things up with Pin.
He grinned as Pin finally finished. With a more carefree tone than earlier, Mayze replied, “No, I’m not with that clown,” he nodded his head over to Articho before grinning, “It’s good to see you again Pin. Even if… your cape wears foreign colors. However,” he cleared his throat, his tone taking a colder twist, “The Galactic Patrol does not decide the fate of a deserter. That is for me, and the empire, to decide, not an outside force that has allied itself with Earth. The GP has no business in our matters,” he paused as the deserter, a female, stumbled out the entrance in her super saiyan form. She fell to the dirt, likely falling unconscious as she powered down.
He eyed the body momentarily before glancing back towards Pin, “I am taking control of the situation,” he nodded towards his squadron. The saiyans immediately understood the silent order and moved towards Arias, aiming to restrain her.
The general coldly continued, “The deserter shall be imprisoned in Space Prison Knutts for the rest of her life,” he grinned before continuing, “You Pin, can inform the Galactic Patrol that your target as been… eliminated. That way you’ll still receive your payment. And, if for some reason those pricks refuse to pay you, then I’m sure something can be… arranged. Fair compromise, no?”
Subtlety, he moved an eye towards Articho, the hybrid would likely have to be dealt with.

Alexander couldn't help a small smirk appear on his features at this Saiyan's response. 'Stronger than you think' was an indication that even if Alexander's presumption of the fellow's power was accurate, there were facets that were part of the Saiyan that were yet to be shown. He knew that power did not mean everything- experience also played a factor, and that was one area that Alex was sorely lacking. But perhaps seeing what this fighter had to offer, he'd be able to reach that level of understanding, and see where his power needed to be taken to reach that next level. However, before he'd had a chance to actually engage in battle with the other, the android from before had come out and had informed him to stand down. He exhaled through his nose, then, a sure sign of irritation. The power of the Void was hungry to do battle and here was a perfect chance to do so against someone who might be able to push him to his limits...and now he was being told to back off. His expression darkened and he wondered if Pin had the same level of power...perhaps he would make for a more fitting challenge, at the moment. That thought never came to be as another reached the battlefield, then. A half-saiyan, by his looks. Alexander had seen enough of them by now that he could spot the differences. Their faces were softer, and their hair not nearly so intense, even in the super saiyan state. Still, he had power behind him, and Alex's eyes lit up a little at the sight of this new fighter. Was this someone that the android would let him go all out against? The Void was craving a fight- it needed to see the blood of its enemies run like water on the ground, and this newcomer looked to be that possible challenge. He seemed to know the Saiyan that Alex had been speaking with before, and from the words, he sensed they had history...either allies or rivals. "You're in my way." The words reached Alexander's ears, causing a flurry of emotion to well up within him. In...the way? Alexander had brought powerful foes to their knees with his own strength, and some pissant who showed up with no regard for anything was not something that the human was willing to deign to spend time with. His hands clenched, the Void beginning to raise as it swarmed around him, like a pack of wild dogs, eager to be loosed on the hunt. And yet, even with that animosity, that rejection of this newcomer's open dismissal of him and his need to prove himself, Alex didn't see what came next. There was a flicker of movement from the newcomer, before Alexander felt the man's palm over his face, and his skull exploded into pain as he was slammed back into it with enough force to shatter the stone wall. Alex's legs felt weak, from that single blow. The strength faded from his limbs, and the increased gravity from Vegeta pulled him down to his knees before the Super Saiyan, his expression blank. He was dazed, confused, uncertain- what the hell had just happened? Was he...was he really this weak? His vision swam, and he could feel the darkness beginning to swallow him as his body slumped back a little toward the wall that he leaned against. He couldn't be. Not after everything that he'd gone through to get here. He had been shamed by Beryl, and now this...person who's name Alex didn't even know! I̵͉͓̺͍̒͗ͧ̐͆̑͞S̛̺̜̻̲͇͍͔͑̓ͨ̆͌̀̕ ̞͇̾̆̆̏ͦͪ͆ͪ̋͠I͊̿͋ͨ̎̓͏̟̠̠̙T̵̟͕̋͗͢͡ ̵͍̻̩̍ͤP͖̺͚͓̲̰̱̌̃ͪ̅ͫ̾ͨͅO͋̆͜͏̧͇̼̙Ẅ͓̪̦̠̎̚͜ͅE͎̬̖̲̳̱͎̜͛̔̃̈́̀R̵̜̫̰͎̩͍̖͐ͤ͜͢ ̷̉ͫͦ̐̏̊̓̀҉͓̥͍̲Ý̷̼͚̲̯̳̦̙̼ͩ̊O̧͑ͬ͆̈͊ͪ҉͈̪̺̯͉͡Ǔ̶̙͚̅͋ͥ͂̚ ̲̩͚̪̝̰͆̔ͥ̾͒̈́̚S̵̙̝̱̼̼̑̎ͤ̀ͯ͛͐́̀̀Eͤ̍ͤ̈ͦ̍̄̀͞͏̮̞̜E͓͈̞̰͇̝͗͑͢͞K͈̞͌̓͛̔̾ͦ̀͝͠?̣̟͍ͮ͂ͧ̀̕͜ The same phrase again. He could hear the tittering of She Who Watches at the edges of his consciousness. Could he handle more? Could he...be more than what he was? She was offering him more, he could tell. There was an offer in Her words. Through the separation of the planes of reality, he heard Her speak to him as if Her lips caressed his ear with every word. Stimulating, narcissistic words that sent arousal down his spine and yet terrified him at the same time- this was Her power. It was within his grasp...She was offering it to him on a silver platter...all he had do was reach out and take it. There was a cost, he was certain, but through that haze as his consciousness shuddered, drifting back and forth between awake and knocked out, he remembered the words of Ninjin Nedrag . He could not take the path to which he knew the destination. Only by forging ahead into the unknown could he grow in power. He had not hesitated with Nostalgic Ayumu , and he would not hesitate here. He was the knight of She Who Watches, and if She saw fit to grant him even more power than he held...he would take that mantle without the barest hints of trepidation. "Yes." The Void tore at him, tearing through his arm and into his body. It acted much like the pack of wild dogs it had been as it seemed to rip holes in the fabric of his consciousness, and there was a sound coming from him then, like a dozen voice screaming in unison as the same agony he'd felt with Ayumu in that bamboo forest tore through him once again. Millions of white hot needles punctured his soul, and even through the pain, he realized what was happening. The Void had always been channeled through a contract that Ayumu had forged, based out of his right forearm. Now, She was opening the gates. There would be no more limiter. He had accepted the Void. A pillar of dark, empty flames rose around Alexander as the boy slowly moved back to his feet. The screams had ceased. The pain had ceased. In fact, all of his senses felt like they were dipped in molasses as everything seemed so...slow, to him now. The power that had been held at bay by the contract that Ayumu had set in place was gone, now. He realized belatedly that what the old man had done was preventative- to make sure that too much of that power didn't get drawn on at one time...but Alex had shattered that barrier, with Her help. He could feel the laughter from She Who Watches, echoing through his mind as he had become more than her knight, now. He was a puppet of the Void. "You're in my way," Alexander echoed as he looked at the Super Saiyan before he shot forward, the broken earth at his feet exploding away from his impact. He spun as he approached, building up momentum as he slammed his back leg into the ground to ground himself before the other fired off like a rocket, aimed straight at Articho's sternum. Pin, and Mayze both would likely note that any playfulness or excitement that had been in Alexander was gone now, and the attack wasn't meant to simply harm- there was nothing being held back. Alex was aiming to kill. Within, Kay-El would feel Alexander's power taint, becoming something unclean, impure. Something that didn't belong here. -- Alexander has broken the limiter on Void Soul ascending to a permanent x16 Power Level. Current Power Level: 2,500,064 KP: 3/3

Post by Articho Reville on May 10, 2016 21:22:59 GMT
Articho let go of Alex's head and turned back to face Mayze. Another man was talking to him, an android given the lack of ki energy coming from him. He didn't bother pulling his scouter out to check the numbers. He knew well enough that people could disguise their true strength. It was better to test just how much the android could do. As the android mentioned that he was a mercenary hired by the Galatic Patrol to come and get Arias, the hybrid felt a flare of anger rise up in him, both at the Patrol and at Pin. He would need to have a serious talk with Beryl about all of this after he finished up here. He would not let this little "deal" between the Patrol and a branch of the SSE without someone getting consequences. He would have stayed there, steaming about it, until Pin called him a clown.
Oh, hell no.
Articho stomped over to the android, anger written all over his face. He reared his fist back behind him as he grew closer. "I'll show you a clown," he snarled as he swung his arm forward in a massive punch aimed at Pin's head, meant to knock the android down to his knees. If he was successful, Articho would follow up with a swift kick to the android's face. "There you go. I gave you a real nice red nose from this. You're already on your way." He smiled mockingly as he looked back from a sudden noise. His grin fell when he saw it was Arias, stumbling over herself as she walked out of the house. He watched her quickly collapse to the ground, only to be swarmed by SSE soldiers. Now, that really wouldn't do.
With a quick leap, Articho gapped the distance between him and the soldiers, planting his right boot on the closest soldier to him's torso. The Saiyan cried out as he was knocked away, making the rest of them jump and step back from Arias' unconscious form. The hybrid wagged a finger at the remaining members of Mayze's squad. "Ah, ah, ah. Can't let you do that. I've got my own business with her right now," he explained. "Maybe another time, alright?"
Articho smirked again, only for it vanish as quickly as it came when Alex's power level skyrocketed. The hybrid turned to face the human and put him into sleepy land for good this time, only for the human's fist to slam into his sternum. The air escaped his lungs as he was knocked back a few feet, skidding and skipping across the ground. He dig his fingers into the dirt, slowing himself enough to finally recover and look back at Alex. Something was...off about him. His eyes were completely dead, his aura was a pillar of black flame, and his ki no longer felt like what it was before and definitely not of something natural. Alex wasn't a man anymore: He was a monster.
The sudden increase in power from Alex put Articho on the losing side now and with no allies to back him. He couldn't hold back anymore if he wanted to get off of this rock with Arias in tow. It was time to use his ace in the hole: the Kienzan, which meant Articho was might take his first life. He looked back at Alex again, with his dead eyes and unholy energy. Something like that didn't seem to alive to him in the first place. The hybrid took off in a sprint, right towards Alex. He kept his eyes locked into the human's own, not breaking his stare for anything. When he was within a few feet of Alex, Articho fell down onto the dirt and aimed to slide right between Alex's legs. Yellow ki spark to life in the palm of his right hand, becoming a razor sharp disc. As he reached a mere few inches from touching Alex, the hybrid threw the disc with all of his might, aiming to slice both of the human's arms off.

Pin was momentarily distracted from his negotiations with Mayze when Arias herself stumbled from her home, her golden aura fading into nothingness. She wobbled, then dropped. Pin was taken aback by the outright convenience of it all. He couldn't remember the last time a mark just passed out in front of him. Mighty Oozaru, this woman continued to be a disappointment to her species, even after achieving the fabled Super Saiyan form. What a joke.
"General," Pin said as Mayze ordered his men to gather the unconscious woman up, "I have to implore you to reconsider. Knutts is a grand prison to be sure, but this woman commands the Super Saiyan power itself. Is it equipped to hold someone like that indefinitely? Someone powerful and unpredictable, with a history of betrayal and dissent?"
Pin placed a hand on the General's shoulder, his cape changing from the colors of the Galactic Patrol to the crimson of the Solar Saiyan Empire.
"I'm not speaking to you as the leader of the White List right now, Mayze. I'm speaking to you as an Imperial Loyalist and one of the Queen's trusted agents. If this woman is placed in Knutts, she'll become more trouble than her imprisonment is worth. Too much of the Empire's resources will be needed to keep her locked up. She could incite a riot, cause a great deal of property damage, and worse - sow the seeds of rebellion amongst not only the prisoners, but those who learn that we did not execute her when given the chance. We cannot afford to appear weak in this, Mayze. Execute her. Broadcast it across the Scouter net. If we make an example of her, show the Empire what happens to deserters and betrayers, it will serve as the best vaccine against internal corruption we could possibly ask for."
That was when Articho leapt into action, launching a punch at Pin's head. Pin would be unable to get out of the way, but bringing his arm up to take the brunt of the damage was another matter entirely. As he put his arm between Articho's fist and his own head, the screeching sound of ripping metal and the cracking of plastics and polymers rung in his ear. His left arm shattered, all but exploded, the remains showering to the dusty ground below. Pin took a moment to acknowledge the damage as Alex - apparently far more powerful than Pin had realized - managed to draw Articho's attention away. Sparks and coolant rained from his mechanical stump.
"See, Mayze? Even now, unconscious and pitiful, she sows the seeds of resistance. We can't afford to take a risk on this one. You know I'm right, and you have the authority to act upon it. Execute her...or let us do it for you." ________________________ +1 KP for no tech use KP 3/3

Charge, dodge, those were the only things on Kay’s mind - the only things she allowed herself to focus on - and maybe that’s why she missed it when Arias used a feint and blasted up a dust storm as she wrecked her own house. Not that the place didn’t already need some repairs, so what was a few more, right? Her eyes began to water and she shut those clear, inner eyelids so she could still see through this storm but it was too little too late.
Maybe she couldn’t see Arias that well, but she felt the dust stir to her side and behind her, heard the sound of heavy, labored breathing and footsteps behind her and shifted. As Kay-El began to turn the blade took her through the back of her shoulder and she let out a grunt of pain, tears welling in her dark eyes as she forgot to fly for a few precious seconds. A few inches inward and she’d have been dead. If she hadn’t moved, hadn’t relied on her senses and instincts like she’d been taught to, the fact that she would have died from this blow hit her hard.
But she didn’t have time to worry or think about that now. Later, much later, if she survived and got back to her ship… she could think about all of this, then.
Catching herself before she hit the ground, those blue and green wings beat the air and lifted her back up just in time for the five year old to see Arias leaving through the hole in the wall that used to be a door.
The world seemed to move in slow motion as she followed the woman out. Blood seeped from her left shoulder where she’d been stabbed to land in a slow pattern on the ground below, leaving a trail behind her. Drip, drip, drop, but no one heard through all the commotion outside. All Kay could hear was blood rushing through her ears, pumping through her body, adrenaline consuming her and that need to protect those she cared about surging forward. And, of course, that drip, drip, drop...
Vaguely she was aware Pin was speaking, aware Mayze was speaking, but the sword still in her shoulder and the rumble between Alex and this stranger distracted her. And, of course, that drip, drip, drop louder than all else only to her. Her eyes found Arias once more: Arias, who had fired her best attack against Pin, Kay’s brother. Arias, who had somehow drawn this stranger there who was now attacking her friend, Alex, someone she’d brought into this job and meant to protect (not that he needed it, but still). Her friends, her family, they were in danger because of Arias.
Bringing her hands out she formed finger guns and imagined Arias shutting down completely, firing all that pent up, charged Ki at her target with the intent to kill as she sang a haunting tune softly. The song itself wasn’t the important part, no, it was a means to an end by which she channeled her Ki. If this succeeded, Arias would die inside all at once, her soul would move on but the body would linger. Kay-El didn’t know how long it would persist and ‘live’ for, she never timed it or really even knew at all, but that didn’t really matter. The body would ‘live,’ if one could call being an empty, organic shell ‘living’ while its internal organs slowly shut down within and there was no one home to even feel the pain anymore.
-- Kp: 0/3 - fired mp3 at Arias with intent to kill for 4,186,149 Damage Fugue: MP3 Description: Kay-El brings her hands down, her fingers in the shape of ‘guns’ and points them at her target while she sings. The song turns into a fast, staccato beat as she imagines closing off doors in her opponent’s mind (if this kills her target, they’d become an empty shell, nobody home, mentally dead - the soul’s moved on. The body dies within an hour of the death of the mind).

Post by Arias on May 11, 2016 14:22:30 GMT
Arias was drifting between consciousness, her mind bogged down and fuzzed over. She was too tired to move, and could only think as she laid on the ground, seemingly unconscious to the others. Her kids were in danger. She was in danger. Arias had to get up, she had to for her family. For everyone she loved, to try to protect them. Arias coughed, slowly regaining consciousness as she heard faint screaming and the voice of Articho nearby. Sensing her daughter stirring, a few tears welled in her eyes. Arias was nothing but a failure, a freak of nature, someone who had never belonged in this world to start with. And now the lives of the twins were in jeopardy. All she'd wanted to do, was go somewhere she could raise her family in peace. That had been all the worn-down mother wanted. And now, everything she loved was crumbling before her. She'd not been given a chance to prove her loyalty, her twins were going to die, Fuku could probably die. The only thing she felt she could so now was cry. Everything happening frustrated and confused her, insulted her honor and spat in her face. The rage she had was building up, as she began to stand. She was going to fight. Then suddenly, the world went dark. Her mind betrayed her, doors shutting and she felt her soul being forced out of her body, despite trying to cling desperately to life. To cling to life for the kids. So much pain built up in her head, and she opened her eyes enough to see someone darting out of the house, tears running from amber eyes. It was her daughter, Fuku. Arias weakly spread her arms as her daughter ran and hugged her, crying softly. " Mother! Mother you'll be okay! momma, momma please! Don't leave me.. please momma!" Fuku cried, hugging her mother tightly as she felt her mother's grip weaken. Arias spoke softly, petting her daughter's hair. " I have to go.. Fuku, please. Get back to Daika alive.. don't take the same route as me.. Goodbye.. I love you, Fuku.." The more Arias' grip weakened on the world, her ki energy started to fall, plummeting to the ground as she let go and collapsed on her back, eyes blank and staring at nothing as her soul moved on. The attack from Kay finally had taken its toll on the mother. Arias.. was officially.. dead. Her ki had failed completely, and the twins she bore started to suffer slowly, dying on their own from the loss of their mother. Fuku cried, shaking her mother, trying to get her to wake up. " MOTHER!!!!!! MOMMA!!!!!! MOMMA PLEASE! DON'T GO MOMMA! Please.. I love you. Don't.. please.. mother.." Fuku buried her head in her mother's chest, crying as tears ran down the poor girl's face. Arias has perished. Ki energy: 0. Killed by: Kay-El

Alexander's blow had connected solidly with Articho's sternum, sending the half-saiyan flying backward away from him in a most satisfactory, rag-doll way. Even so, his face betrayed even less emotion than usual. There was something about Alexander now that simply did not belong in this world. Something devoid of happiness, sadness, anger, fear...there was nothing. Alex now was little more than a meat sack with a puppeteer behind the wings guiding his every motion with something skilled and beyond what his body should be capable of. He felt as if every fiber in his body were alive with the Void, thrumming and aware of what was happening around him. Unlike before where it was simply his right arm that had that strange power flowing from it, influencing the rest of his body, he now had it everywhere. It was endlessly circulating within his entire form, from his core to his fingertips, alive with that unsettling power. He stood, no stance held, his arms simply at his side as he watched the other. This was Alex's usual stance, or lack thereof. Since coming into contact with the Void, Alex had thrown away most of the martial arts training that he had gotten from his former master, and had since now simply devolved into using little more than the raw power flooding through him, which was often more than enough to make him a match for what he often went up against. And now, that thing was the half-saiyan that had struck him to begin with. There was no wish in Alexander's body for a revenge, to knock this other one out. There was only the need to kill him. To bring him back into the Void itself, and to let the cold embrace of She Who Watches reduce the man that stood before him to nothing more than a gibbering lunatic. If he even lasted that long. Still, Alexander couldn't help but to feel a bit of an...irritation at the moment. He was the opponent of Articho, and yet there he was, off insulting others, and attempting to recover the body of Arias for...some reason. He cocked his head slightly to the side as he watched, mystified as he fought against the General's soldiers, pushing them back and away in order for him to defend the woman's body. Alexander's eyes didn't change in their expression, though the Alex from before certainly would have displayed hostility to this. But now there was just...nothing. Watching, waiting patiently for the man to come back and fight against his true opponent. And after a moment more of his boasting and jeering, Alexander could in fact see him coming closer, at a dead sprint. Even so, the male didn't move, still standing a little lackadaisically with his hands at his sides, waiting for whatever punch Articho was going to throw, or perhaps a flying kick attack or something more. However the half-saiyan showed no signs of attacking as he drew close and for that, the Void within Alex began to get restless, beginning to form around his right arm in preparation for some sort of...trick. A trick there was, he saw as the other drew ever closer, beginning to slide along the ground, to which Alexander didn't bother to even react to. This was an odd form of combat that was going to leave him in a bad state if whatever trick he was going to try didn't pan out. And a moment later, Alexander saw exactly what that trick was in the form of the whirling, sparking disc that floated just off of the half-saiyan's right hand. The attack was thrown upward at him then, and the proximity would almost spell certain death if Alexander allowed it to touch him, which he did not. The meat sack that was Alexander merely leaned back, before his void-covered fist lashed out, slamming into the flat part of the disc. The void from his hand lashed out then, wisps and tendrils latching onto it, the spinning mass beginning to slow as it was seemingly adhered to Alexander's fist. The Void seemed to devour that ki then, swarming and swallowing it. For those who had not ever seen Alexander's void defense, the transition was always an awkward one as the strange, dull grey liquid began to ooze from the void, dropping to the ground around where Articho had been, the stuff eating through the ground as if it were some sort of acid...whatever the remnants of the ki had been, it was ki no longer. Then Alexander moved, turning to face the now-prone Articho. "Stupid," he spoke, his voice coming out now as several masculine (and some feminine) voices speaking in unison. He felt the Void pressure growing in his body as it readied itself for something...more. He didn't know what yet, but something was happening within him even as he moved, taking a half-step before he swung his foot forward, aiming to catch the half-saiyan in the ribs and send him flying with the attack. "We will enjoy tearing the breath from your body," Alexander, or rather, the Void, spoke again, his gaze empty as he advanced on Articho. He paid little mind to Pin, Arias, Mayze or Kay-El. Right now he had but one target. ----- PMs with Mayze gave him til Sunday to post so unfortunately we are skipping him at this point Hope you can make the next round bud Ki Guard [SU1] (Zanzouken-Style Avoid Dealie) used at 2.5mil PL to Avoid the Kienzan for 1 KP. He then tried to kick Articho in the ribs while he was still down on the ground. Current KP: 2/3

Articho slid underneath Alexander's legs without a hitch, a confident grin on his face. He was certain that he had managed to take the human's, if he even could be called that anymore, arms clean off and he would be out of the fight. He jammed a boot into the ground, slowing himself enough so that he could flip over and get a look at his "hand"iwork. What he saw was way, way less than stellar. The hybrid's jaw dropped in shock as he watched Alexander catch his Kienzan. Last he has checked, doing that meant you lost fingers. Of course, it only got worse. He watched with a mixture of horror and awe as the human absorbed, no, dissolved the Kienzan, until nothing was left but a black tarry mess that sizzled when it hit the ground. "Well that's certainly...unfortunate," he stated. It was more than unfortunate. The whole situation was downright terrible. It was him against four people, one of which wanted his head no matter what happened. Even if Articho managed to beat him, there was still the one armed wonder and his companion, as well as Mayze. At least two of them them shouldn't be that hard to beat if it comes down to it. Right now, he needed to focus on Alexander, given the man's foot was fast approaching. Articho rolled out of the way and flipped up to his feet. His new angle gave him a full view of Arias' corpse lying on the ground. Normally, he wouldn't have been too bothered by the sight, especially since he barely knew her, but this time, it was different. The little girl, Fuku, was crying out for her mother to stay alive. He felt a pang of sympathy for the little girl, but then his sense caught something else. Something smaller. Two something smallers. The hybrid's eyes widened as he studied the dead body, from which two tiny energies struggled to cling to life. She was pregnant and by the looks of it, it hadn't been long enough. Too spins for the babies to be born and he didn't have the medical equipment necessary to save two unborn children. They were going to die, too, and there was nothing he could do to prevent it. Articho's expression shifted through a number of emotions until it settled on the most prominent one: Anger. He reached into his pocket, pulled out the green scouter, and placed it on his ear. "To anyone who may be listening," he said as he pushed the record button, "this is Articho Reville. I'm on Vegeta, where the woman Arias had just been murdered by two mercenaries hired by the Galatic Patrol, who I can only assume we're answering the 'request' put out by the Lookout's caretaker, Walker. If anyone gets this, I need you to pass on a message for me: Walker, you are the worst caretaker ever. Thanks to you, three lives have ended today: Arias and her two unborn children, as well as her current child now being motherless. It must be nice being able to kill someone without letting their death bother you. I think there's a word for people like that. Oh, yeah: murderer. To whoever's in charge over there right now, do me a favor and fire his ass. He isn't fit to take care of a fucking flower. And to the Galatic Patrol, know that I am coming for you all and I will find who sent these mercenaries. And trust me, it won't be pretty. And finally, someone let my mother know that I might be a little late to dinner for a while." Articho pressed the "send" button and sent the message out to everyone he knew. He took the scouter off of his ear and placed it back into his pocket, his gaze never breaking from the four people in front of him. "Alright then, let's finish this. I'd rather not make good on that last bit of the message there." His frown changed to a confident smile and he struck a fighting stance, using on hand to make a "bring it on" gesture. ---------------------------------------- KP: 1/3 for no Tech use Maeve Rakshasa , @tokoz , Etoru , Letu , Defrosch , Toma , Ninjin Nedrag

Pin's internal scouter beeped at him, just before fizzling and crashing. That only ever happened in response to something big. That something big had to be Kay-El's song, suddenly louder and sharper than it had been a moment ago. Turning to look at Arias, he watched as her body somehow went even more limp than it had been. The little girl - somehow Pin had missed her - Fuku knelt by her mother's dying body and cried in mourning.
"That certainly settles that, then. Frankly Mayze," Pin said, "This is for the best. The Empire has been preserved, and a traitor has been duly punished. I leave the little one to you. I'm not much of a babysitter."
With that he turned, doing his best to appear as though he were ignoring the fight between Alex and Articho. In reality, however, he was taking note of Alex's intense change in both strength and demeanor. Once this was all said and done, he'd need to offer that guy a job. He'd make a good murderer for hire. Pin approached Kay-El, looking her over and taking mental note of her injuries. Nothing incredibly grievous, but she wasn't looking too good. He decided it was time to go home.
"Come, Kay. Time to ditch this shitshow. Let's get you cleaned up and paid."
He held his hand out to the girl. If she took his hand and agreed to go, he would kick his propulsors into gear and soar off into the distance, heading towards the spaceport and the Pixie Blue.

There was a lot going on and she looked around at everyone gathered there, finally, and then those dark eyes settled on Alex facing off against some annoying half Saiyan she didn’t even know. What was his stake in all of this? sound finally seemed to come back to her with a pop. Between Articho sending a message to whomever he was contacting and the little crying girl, the throbbing pain in her shoulder intensified, the sword still stuck in there. She knew pulling it out might only make things worse and nodded. “Arias… wanted the girl to go back to that Daika guy. I think… No, I do, I want to honor that.”
The White List had been under the employ of the Galactic Patrol to chase, hunt down, detain, possibly kill the escapee. Arias was a murderer and yet, yet, she’d also been a friend, of sorts. It’s just a job she told herself again. But the girl crying, sobbing, told another story.
“Unless the General has other plans for the girl, I’ll take her back to Earth and this ‘Daika.’” She trusted Alex to keep the other Hybrid busy. Reaching out, she hit the girl just hard enough to knock her out. Sucking in a deep breath, the child forced the sword out of her shoulder, it made a wet sound as it slid out and then clanked to the ground near Arias' feet. Kay picked the girl up with her good arm as wings spread from her back and she took to the air. -- KP: 1/3 (+1 no tech use) Knocked out Fuku. Will exit with Pin unless someone stops her from taking Fuku with her.

Fuku was crying heavily, holding her mother's dead body in a vice grip, not wanting to let go. The young girl grieved heavily over the loss of her mother, she whimpered and cried. "M..Momma... please.... wake up momma.. WAKE UP! PLEASE MOMMA! OPEN YOUR EYES, PLEASE!" Fuku wailed, tilting her head to the sky as she cried aloud. She didn't want to leave her mother and clung to her mother's body, crying heavily. "M..Momma I'll get you back to Daika.. come on.." She whimpers, trying to drag Arias to the house despite her mother weighing a fair bit more.
The young girl continued to drag the corpse of her mother towards the stairs to the house, still trying her best until Kay-El landed next to her. "Help me get momma back to daddy pl-" The sword was forced from Kay-El's body, landing with a dull thud on the ground as Fuku cried out, knocked unconscious and collapsing. She would then be picked up and laid limp in Kay's arm, her ki signature being unnervingly similar to Arias' own. There was no telling when the girl would wake up, but all the same she would wake up wailing in grief.
(Exiting thread was previous post for Arias, don't have to count this it was me controlling her NPC daughter.)
