Pieter woke up, his body having become weary from dehydration and the exercise he did weeks, or a month ago... He wasn't sure when the last time it was that he was awake! He found himself being inside, on the ground, and a bucket of water next to him, with a ladle floating in it. Pieter hastily grabbed it, nearly tipping the bucket over and spilling the liquid all over the floor. He grabbed the ladle awkwardly, barely holding it in his hand right as he scooped the water and spooned it to his mouth. "Gah, my god," he cried out loudly, taking another scoop of the water wildly. It had been quite some time since he last got water in him, and with his belly filling with water, a stab of pain shot him in the form of hunger! He needed food in him, but he didn't know where King Kai kept his stash of food. Did he just create it from thin air? The hunter got out of the futon and looked around the small space. The old kai wasn't here... Maybe he was outside tending to some of his plants? Pieter did see that there was a small garden around the backside of the house when he went out on his runs earlier. He stepped out, and called out to his master, "Hey, King Kai, I'm awake! Do you have any fruits or anything I can snack on? I'm pretty famished!"The hunter took a couple steps out the door, and, a sudden rush to his head caused him to halt right in place, as his sight briefly blacked out. After having been sleeping so long, his blood must've finally been hit his brain. As it happened, his head throbbed in three different places. This was a common thing, after all, he could sense energy. 2 of the presences were familiar, being King Kai's and Bubble's presences, but the third was massive! Pieter, however, figured it had just been him having a large headache. After all, Pieter hadn't gotten water in him for quite a while, and he was deathly hungry! He just needed food and some more water in him, before he'd be fine. (@kaula, @bing, King Kai Sorry for the shortness! I figured that, since you guys have been busier than I, that I should make the thread for ya, so we can get this under way. Head on over here when you feel ready to go, guys!  ) |

The Saiyaness had been outside, clad in her usual armor. She grunted out a bit as she threw a few punches at the air before following with a high kick. She hopped back slowly, bouncing lightly before widening her stance. She never really liked training by herself like this. But it's not like there was a whole lot to do on this tiny planet. It could stand to be bigger. Probably with a race track or something. However the Saiyaness eventually sighed out, wandering towards the closest tree to plop herself down. "Hm." she quietly mused to herself. She noticed she hadn't.. Arrived in the after life with her sword. Or some other stuff. She didn't know why but it slightly bothered her. Maybe it was the lack of her weapon. Maybe it was the lack of the scarf her mother gave her. "Maybe I can get King Kai to give me a sword or something." she thought to herself before closing her eyes. Kaula sighed as she relaxed, currently she had been relaxing behind the tree. Her body was lightly resting against the trunk. Her arms right behind her head as she was just sitting there. She had been training earlier, but now, she was relaxing. That was until her ear twitched. Someone was shouting out. She poked an eye open, looking around for a few seconds before sighing. She tried to close her eyes, however, the mood was ruined now! "Awh good grief." the girl growled out as she went to stand up slowly. The girl dusted herself off before turning to the house, heading towards the door when she noticed someone standing in it. Her eyebrows raised out of curiosity for a second. He looked.. Familiar for a moment. Cogs started to turn in her head for a few moments before she let out a soft chuckle. "Oh hey. You're that guy.. Who totally died in North Capitol during the invasion. To Zucceta." the girl said with a cocky grin. "At least you're here, I suppose." (Sorry, didn't get the notification.  ) |

The sound of a sputtering engine came from inside the garage that resided not far from both Kaula and Pieter. It started out somewhat muffled, but eventually, it grew to a volume that was incredibly difficult to ignore. Eventually, the sputtering became more like the sound of a rocket launching, before climaxing with the sound of an explosion. Smoke slowly escaped from the inside of the garage, before the shutter suddenly opened.
A coughing sound came from within the smoke, as King Kai exited the garage. His entire form was caked in black smoke and grease. It was easy to tell he had just done some work on his car, though it seemed that whatever the problem was, it was hard to fix. He coughed a few more times before speaking. "Geeze, talk about a clunker, eh?" He chuckled lightly, causing him to cough again.
His antennae twitched, before all of the grime residing on his body suddenly disappeared! He looked over at Kaula, then at Pieter, and smiled. "Glad to see you two have met. Kaula, this is Pieter. Pieter, this is Kaula. You two will be training alongside one another!"
King Kai turned to the house, gesturing towards it as he spoke again. "Now, would you two like to eat before we start today's training? The two of you are Saiyans, after all. I'm more than familiar with your unmatched appetite."

The sound of King Kai's screaming metal deathtrap, practically sounding as though it had exploded, alerted Pieter to the garage next to the house! The hunter rushed over, asking, "King Kai, are you alright?! It sounded like something exploded!"King Kai coughed his way out of the garage with black smoke billowing from its vestiges. Pieter quickly ran inside and grabbed the small bucket with the ladle and brought it over to the Kai, so could at least clear his throat! As he did, Pieter uttered, "I knew that thing was a metal death trap! You really shouldn't keep it, or it'll end up killing ya one day!"The grime on his body disappeared with his antennae flicking, before Pieter was introduced to someone on the planet. The person had stood up from under a tree, and, after a few seconds of observational glances shared with the person, Pieter pointed at the person, mouth agape as he shouted! "K-Kaula?! What are you- Wait, that's how you remember me?!"King Kai mentioned eating before they began training, which caused the hunter to immediately salivate and respond, with a foolish grin, "That would be delightful, King Kai... Wait, 'we,'" Pieter asked, vexed by the statement, before turning back to the saiyaness, "Wait, how'd you die in the first place? Since you're here, Bing must've recommended you here in the first place, so he must be hiding off somewhere in the Living Realm! That makes sense, with him not showing up at the Check In station... Man, why was I worried?"Pieter was leaping to conclusions, believing Bing had been hiding out somewhere, alive. Kaula's presence here had been that reassuring thought, as he made his way inside, to try out whatever King Kai was cooking! ( Kaula, Bing Gan, here's the real post! XD) |

Kaula brought a hand up, a finger rising to waggle lightly in response. "Boy." she said with a chuckle. "You kinda.. Missed a whole lot while you've been dead." the girl stated as her hands traveled down to stick themselves on her hips. She looked towards King Kai who had just come from the garage which had quite a commotion coming from it. "Was that sound coming from your car?" she asked, blinking a little bit. She didn't know much of cars, though she didn't have much of a need for them anyway. She could fly. Though that brought up an interesting character.
"Why do you have a car? Your planet is so small. Plus this is like.. The after life or whatever. Why do you have a car? It doesn't seem normal." Kaula started before blinking. Oh right. Pieter. A hand came up, her fingers snapping as she looked to Pieter. "Lots of stuff happened. Bing and Maeve got married, apparently. Dunno if you met Maeve, however. Really nice lady. Anyway Zucceta was doing things. Bing went to stop her. He was killed. Zucceta's like.. Some form stronger than Super Saiyan which I now have as well. I'm thinking of calling it Super Mega Saiyan."
She frowned a little bit. "Maeve didn't take to it kindly. She wanted to blow up Vegeta. I made her go home. Me and Reikiko were going to take care of the queen, however.. We came across a new robot the queen had made. Which happened to be Bing. Which also happened to kill us both. Galaxy is in danger. Yada yada." she stated before both hands came up, clapping her hands together. "It's a lot to take in, I know. But uhh.. Time isn't really something we have right now, I guess." she stated before she glanced at Pieter, before looking to King Kai, "Am I right? Like.. It is pretty bad what's going on right now. I doubt Vipoi could take both of them alone." Kaula stated before she soon moved to clap her hands together, offering a smile. "So should we get training or what?"

"Believe me, I don't understand why he has it as well, Kaula. It's apparently a 'classic,' to him," Pieter replied, pointing at the road that wrapped around the planet, "He took me on a ride on that road there, one time... It was a bit bumpy and smelled as though it was gonna blow up! Pleasantries aside..."Pieter paused, as he listened to what Kaula had to say on what happened. Bing and a girl named Maeve married, which put a smile on his face. However, that quickly went away, as she told him that Zucceta had been up to things and Bing went to stop her and got slain in battle. She apparently achieved a higher state of Super Saiyan to do it, which Kaula had also achieved! However, Pieter was left feeling glum about the event, having literally sprinted to the Check In station to meet with his slain friend... Yet, he hadn't shown. Not yet, for all Pieter knew. Then, she proceeded to explain what happened after. Maeve didn't take the death well and wanted to destroy Vegeta, but Kaula had her fall back. As the explanation went on, Pieter had turned towards her, hands on hips as he nodded and muttered inquisitively, in between each of her sentences, "Ok... Right... Robot..."Kaula told him that she'd been slain by this robot, who she identified as Bing. She finished her story weakly, being in a bit of a rush to get to training. Pieter's eyes had glossed over, his eyes piercing into her gaze. He'd started walking over to her, asking her, "You're... You're kidding... Right? You're just... yanking my leg, right?"He stopped for a moment, looking over to King Kai as he asked, "She's kidding, right King Kai? It's obviously some sort of joke, and a bad one at that! Very satirical!"( Kaula, Bing Gan, King Kai. Quickly shoving into this part..!)

King Kai's face turned a bit red as they flat-out insulted his choice to own a car. How dare they! These two clearly weren't enlightened with the knowledge of the joy that maintaining a vehicle like this brought. "I'll have you know this car is vintage! It's more valuable than anything either of you two own, and--" The sound of the sputtering engine interrupted him, as another cloud of smoke rose from the inside of the garage. He muttered something to himself, allowing the two new trainees to talk among themselves. As the topic of Bing's fate was brought up, King Kai looked away nervously. Pieter was clearly a bit upset, refusing to believe it at first. The Hunter turned, desperately trying to get the Kai to reveal this was just some prank or something. Though the thought of Bing wearing fake robotic implants as a joke was hilarious to the god of this little planet, he sadly could not deny Kaula's claims. "...She's speaking the truth, Wolfbane. I'm sorry to say it, but the Kami of Earth has been morphed into a machine, forced to do the Queen's bidding. There are few ways to save him now... I just hope someone can stop him before his new villainous tendencies overtake his humanity hidden within."He took a step back on instinct, worried for his own safety around this new Super Saiyan. Knowing how close he was to Bing, he might just lash out in a rage. Hopefully Kaula would be able to halt any destruction from going too far -if Pieter reacted poorly, that is. "Perhaps skipping lunch would be for the best. If you two are ready for training, we can most certainly begin."

Kaula stood there, she glanced up at Pieter for a second, frowning as she went to tug her gloves down a bit, adjusting them so they fit better. Sucked, she almost thought he knew. But then again, news probably doesn't come in that fast here. Though she wondered how King Kai knew. Why didn't he tell Pieter earlier.
With a sigh, she took a few steps away from the other Saiyan. It happened in a second. Her hair color changed to a pale gold. Her eyes a light blueish green. The golden aura of a super saiyan picked up around her as her power level rose! She took on her mastered super saiyan form.
"I'm good to go." the girl claimed, a hand coming up to run her fingers through her hair slowly. "In fact.." she started, moving down to crouch lightly as she brought her hands up! She assumed a battle stance.
"Let's start now. After all, I am pretty much the only one here who can probably save him. So I'd like to hurry my training up, Pieter, if you do not mind."
((Sorry for the shortie post. I suppose we can just start trading posts back and forth piet as we train. o3o)

Deep breathing that was speeding up slowly, as the area around Pieter begun to heat up, could be heard from the former Hunter.
"You come here, and you tell me that my battle brother, the Kami of the Earth, who'd risked his life with the both of us..."
Pieter's power flared up, creating a gust of wind pushing away from Pieter, his brown eyes turning to teal.
"And you're telling me he was changed into a robotic FREAK, under that bitch's commands, and slew both you and Reikiko, the other strongest people in the damn universe?! And you," Pieter shouted, pointing at King Kai, "You knew about this as well!? Why didn't you-!"
Pieter stopped himself, biting his tongue with his canines literally to bring him back down to Earth! His energy calmed down, and with it, the original brown color of his eyes showed up, and so did his hair. Feeling calmer, he told Kaula, with gritted teeth, "Saving him with just strength alone isn't gonna help him, Kaula... But, maybe it'll at least get your foot in the door."
A little bit of blood trickled from his mouth when he spoke, which he noticed and wiped away. He readied himself, open hands raised to shoulder level and feet spread. Pieter needed to get a hold of himself, and try to remember how to fight. After all, he hadn't fought in quite some time. He needed to center himself, again!
(Sounds like a plan! Pieter's not going to transform, by the way.)

Kaula stood there, waiting as she moved to extend her left arm out. She seemed unfazed by the gust of wind as she started to stretch slowly. By now, the super saiyan transformation was so common that it wasn't too much of a surprise if any Saiyan had.
Besides, doing your stretches is an important part of exercising. "Yes. I am telling you." she stated as she opened her eyes, "And he likely didn't tell you so you wouldn't rush your own training trying to stop him. You're.. Not really that strong." the girl explained as she crouched down, extending a leg out as she continued her stretches.
She kept her eyes on the man, however. He seemed to be changing out of his super saiyan transformation? The girl sighed as she went to slowly stand back on her feet, dusting her armor off. "Yeah." she grumbled. She dropped her own transformation, her power level dipping back down to it's normal two and a half hundred thousand level.
Well, now was as good a time to start the training as ever? The girl suddenly rushed forward, a hand extending outward to deliver a powerful open palm strike on Pieter's chest if he didn't move out of the way.
"So. Shall we begin, then?"

Pieter brought both of his arms in front of him and dug his feet as Kaula slammed into him! He was rocketed off to the empty pink space above the clouds! He managed to keep himself floating above the clouds, as he sped back over, shouting, "Let's!"
He came in quickly, spinning clockwise to build momentum up for the attack. Upon reaching melee range, Pieter landed on the ground with one foot and twisted around with the other raised for an frontal axe kick. The intent was to force the girl into a position where he could deliver a few quick strikes.
"Take this..!"
(Sorry for the shortness of the post! I need to get my motivation going for me!)

"Hmmm.."
Kaula muttered to herself after her initial hit. "Did I put too much power into that? He seemed to fly off a bit too fast." she continued in her thought. Hey, he was at least fast enough to bring his arms up to try to block, even if that didn't seem to help protect him a whole lot.
Of course, while she was thinking Pieter had already shouted and was starting to mount an attack of his own. He had rushed forward and already landed on the ground. Sure, the kick landed but.. The female Saiyaness didn't seem to budge much at all.
"Hmm?" she seemed to muse, looking towards Pieter with a slight smile. She was more than aware of the differences in their power level. Sure, the other one was strong, but not nearly as strong as Kaula. Not even half as strong - yet.
"Was that a kick or a light tap with your foot. You'll have to excuse me, was lost in my thoughts for a moment!" she shouted as she brought a hand forward, her index and middle finger pointing right towards the other Saiyan. A small orb of ki seemed to form on the tip of those fingers.
"DODONPA!" the girl shouted, the thin beam shooting forward from the orb. If the nomad Saiyan wasn't quick enough, he would be in for quite the burn!

Pieter should've expected her to not budge... It was the same with Bing, but he was going to be deterred by that!
However, he did get startled by her choosing to quickly charge a nasty point blank beam! The Hunter was forced to speed off, leaving a image to be pierced through as he repositioned several feet away!
"She doesn't hesitate does she," Pieter thought, looking at his opponent.
Pieter brought his hands up and welcomed the her to try her hand again at striking him!

Kaula let out a huff as she watched the image of the proud hunter from Earth get pierced and dissipate. The Saiyaness moved to hop back after that, her stern green eyes turning to look towards the man.
Her eyes narrowed for a second. Why hadn't he transformed? One would think if they had the means, they would do it. That.. Makes sense. You have power, and you use it.
She sighed, a hand coming up to run her fingers through her bangs and push them from her face. "So. Tell me, why aren't you going Super Saiyan yet?" she asked. She went to give a slow shrug, "I mean, you have it, right? That's what you did earlier, right? This is a nice warm-up and all. But it's usually best for me to fight at full strength. or, you know. Close to it." Kaula continued as she went to offer up a shrug as a follow up to her statement.

Kaula seemed despondent on him reacting the way he did. She was bored, and was asking he wouldn't transform, like he was doing earlier, apparently. Pieter wasn't sure what to say to that... "I don't have," Pieter replied, shooting a ki blast at her as he did, so things didn't slow down, "Control over it! Maybe it's because I don't have a reason to enter it? I don't know. You're the one who could freely go into it, so you tell me! So, just pressure me as you are with your power!"Pieter charged after the blast, intending to use the blast as a means to distract her for his attack. A few feet away from her, Pieter leaped with a right handed fist and slammed it towards the saiyaness' left collar bone. Maybe he could disorient her with the blows, so he could get in a stronger attack? Fighting someone like this was going to be his challenge. "Just keep it coming, Kaula! I don't need to be thinking on anything else but the match here!"( Kaula, your turn!) |
