Kaula sighed, slowing down to a walk as she exited the check in station. She crouch down for a moment, extending her left leg outward. Streeeetching slowly, air popping out of her joints. With a sigh she moved to bring her left leg back under her and extend her right leg out. YOu know, she did the 'ole you stick your left leg out. Then you stick your right leg out. However the Saiyaness wouldn't be shaking it all about. She stood up after the short stretching session.
"Alright." she started as she stared at the curving path ahead of her. It seemed like it went on forever. She closed her eyes momentarily, a hand coming up as she rubbed at the bridge of her nose. "Well.. Might as well start." Kaula grumbled. After a few idle scratches at her head, the Saiyaness crouched down, getting into a starting position. "Alright.. Me. Ready.. Set.. GO!" Kaula proclaimed before she moved to start running.
This was easy. It wasn't as easy as flying, of course. But you know.. This was simpler. Kinda. Sure, with flying she could have probably already been at the end. But that damn blue ogre was all 'hey. no flying. you gotta walk or run the whole way there. blah blah blah'. Kaula huffed out, frowning.
However, as she was running she.. Didn't really feel all that tired. In fact, her energy felt downright bottomless! She could probably run this way forever. In fact, Kaula wondered. How long had she been running for? She certainly wasn't sure. The girl started to stop, eventually planting both of her feet firmly on the ground before she went to look back the way she came. She couldn't even see the check in station anymore. "Huh.." the Saiyaness softly muttered. She slowly shrugged to herself before continuing on with her journey.
Kaula had continued running. She certainly wasn't going to stop! She didn't feel a need to! She wasn't that tired. She could just keep going. However, as she was running.. She heard a peculiar beep. Kaula recalled this sound. It sounded.. Almost like.. It was like one of those vehicles from Earth. Kaula glanced back as she was running.. Only to see a car on the road behind her, approaching fast!
The pointed-eared girl blinked a couple times. She almost couldn't believe what she was seeing. A.. Vehicle.. Here? Was she seeing things? However, despite her current speed.. The car was still catching up fast. A red and rather buff ogre stuck his head out of the window, along with his arm. He seemed to be shaking it in the air, "Out of the way!!" he shouted.
Kaula was clearly taken back from this. Because, hey! She was walking here! She wasn't told some jerks would be driving around on this place! "There isn't a place to get out of the way!" she shouted back as she continued to run, the car right behind her. He just kept honking. Of course, this led Kaula to getting all the way to the side of the way so the red ogre could zoom on by in his dinky little car. "Stupid kids. No respect these days." came a grumble from the car as it road on by.
However, the Saiyaness was clipped by the mirror, causing the girl to stop, standing on one foot as she tried to keep her balance to stop herself from falling over the edge and into and below the clouds that were beneath the massive snake road she had been jogging on. There was a few moments as she was nearly sent careening over the side till she put her other foot down, taking a few steps back before falling on her ass with a solid thud. She chuckled a bit, a hand coming up to start scratching her head lightly, "Heh. Good thing I didn't fall!" she said before she moved to slowly stand up. She dusted herself off a bit before looking towards the car as it was puttering off.
Kaula decided to show that ogre her favorite finger before she went to start running along again on Snake Way.
Sometime later, as she was running along she noticed that she was coming up on some type of building. She stopped on the road, glancing at it for a second. "Is this..?" she paused, looking back along the way she was heading. "Nope.." she muttered out, "It's not the end of the path. So I guess this isn't where that King guy lives?" Kaula said. A hand came up to scratch at her head lightly. "Probably someone else's home or something.." she muttered out. She recalled back to the jerk in the car. She shook her head a little bit, starting to jog again on the path. Though she didn't notice it, she was starting to pass some cardboard boxes. "Probably that jerk's house.. Maybe I should.." she muttered to herself in thought. "Maybe I should go back and throw a rock or something at it."
However, as she was musing her thoughts out loud, she got the attention of someone who didn't like what she was saying! With a hiss he jumped from his hiding space, the cardboard box blasting off of him as he quickly tackled the Saiyaness. He moved to wrap his arms around her neck, starting to choke the girl, grunting loudly as he did into her ear in a rather creepy fashion, though this was due to her Superior strength and he was having some trouble keeping up with her, so to say. "Stop.. Grunting! It's weird!" She yelled as she flailed her arms before she managed to regain her composure. She drove her right elbow into the man's gut, causing him to let go.
She stepped back, turning to face him as she brought her hands up to get ready to defend herself. The man, some type of weird.. Snake Demon was clad in some type of weird grey blue military fatigues. He had a hardened battle look upon his face and had a singular eye as his other one was covered up by an eye patch! He moved towards her. Kaula threw a punch, however he grabbed her arm, pulling it behind her back. "Oh fuck this!" the Saiyaness growled out. She stomped her foot down, slamming it onto his foot. She turned, jumping into the air with her foot raised up to deliver a high kick to the man's face.
He started to stumble back towards the edge. However Kaula didn't exactly want someone dying in the after life. Or, rather, she wouldn't want them falling. She had no clue what would happen to someone if someone were to fall off this damn thing. She reached out, grabbing onto his suit and throwing him back onto Snake Way and into some of the cardboard boxes that were still laid out. The way they simply crumbled told Kaula that at least there weren't any more in those.
Before he could recollect himself, though, Kaula was already back on her way to running along Snake Way! She ain't got the time for that, she got a king to meet!
A while later and more down the path, Kaula had slowed down to a walk for a moment. "Huh. What if this is like.. Some weird punishment for bad things I've done?" she mused to herself. "Like just running alone forever. That'd suck something fierce." she said in a soft mumble. She scratched her head lightly, "Naaah. Probably not. Wonder why some King dude want's to see me anyway, though."
Of course this talk of royalty reminded her of Reikiko. She was with some brat of a prince. She shrugged lightly. "Kinda wonder how she's doing."
