The saiyan in black had just landed back on Namek only minutes ago, and was already headed to where the Warrior Caste clan resided. As he reached the small group of round houses he looked around, wondering where the leader had gone. He paced around, entering the main cabin, where the leader would normally be. Riku inspected the inside, making sure he didn't miss anything, but there was nobody, not even a sign of where the leader had gone off to. As he exited the house, a namekian walked by him, a soft smile on their face. Riku returned the smile but spoke, asking where the leader was. "Excuse me, but do you know where the warrior caste leader has gone? I can't seem to find him anywhere!" The namekian shook his head sadly, "It seems as though our great leader has disappeared, out of thin air. He said no goodbyes, no announcement either, he just vanished. As you are one of his pupils, wouldn't he have told you?" Riku shook his head, signalling that he was never spoken to by the leader of his departure. The saiyan's face turned gloom, he was looking forward to being taught by his new master, but now he was gone.
However, the namekian realized something, putting his finger up. "Ah! That's right, I believe our leader talked with his council once... They agreed to store away any valuable teachings or items that our leader wrote down in case anything were to happen to him! Your best option would be to visit the councilmen a few houses down from here." said the Namekian as he pointed south. Riku nodded, "Thank you." before flying in that direction. In moments he came upon a rather fancy structured house, definitely the one that most stood out here. Riku could only assume a higher power resided here, meaning the council. Descending, he knocked on the door, which opened a few moments later. Inside was a round table that held a total of seven chairs around it. One of the seven was a large throne-like chair, which must be for the leader of the clan. Six elder Namekians stood facing the saiyan in black, bowing their heads as a sign of welcoming. Riku hesitantly did the same, not knowing if it was appropriate or not. Five of them sat down, but one stood, the leader of the general council, but not of the clan. He gestured for Riku to take a seat on the throne, something which struck him as odd. "Welcome, Riku-san. Please, sit. We have been awaiting your return. You must know by now that our leader, Paengi, has vanished from the clan, correct?" Riku nodded slowly.
"Well, this is true, as you can see. It has been the first case where our leader has just...vanished. Ah, our leader, a great Namekian warrior, for ages before our revival we have had a strong leader. Yet, so many come and go, but in the sense of dying in order to protect the clan! Not once has an incident like this occured, but we have already found a solution." the six councilmen looked at Riku simultaneously, which made the saiyan feel slightly uneasy. "Riku-san, our clan cannot stand without a head, it cannot prosper without advancement, it will not survive without being fit. The Warrior Caste clan needs someone to lead, someone strong, someone worthy, you are that person, Riku. As one of Paengi's students, you are the best fit for this role." Riku's eyes widened, he had never thought of being the leader of a clan...especially not for a Namekian clan. "Me..? Why would I be fit for this role? I'm not of your kind, and I know near to nothing of running a whole clan!" exclaimed the saiyan in black.
"That may be so, Riku, but that truly will not put you back. You have us, the council, who will guide you along the path. However, there are certain requirements that you need in order to truly obtain this title." said the Namekian, pulling out two scrolls from his pockets. He placed them side by side on the center of the table. Riku inspected the scrolls, viewing two special techniques that all Warrior Caste leaders must learn. "These, Riku, are the warrior caste's secret techniques. They are unique only to us, and may only be obtained through our teachings. More so this one, known as Special Beam Cannon. The second, known as Multi-Form is a move that takes patience to be able to perform, and a high level of understanding of the body and ki. Here is our description for them."
Riku followed his finger, which pointed along the Wdescriptions of both techniques as he read them aloud. "Special Beam Cannon: A ki ray that shoots out of the users fingertips, covered in spiraling ki. The move does severe damage, and can pierce through even the thickest barriers, and through whoever it hits if charged enough. Multi-Form: A move where the user splits themselves into multiple clones, through the understanding of the body and ki. Each clone recieves an equal amount of Power Level, meaning the Power Level of the original user splits along how many clones they create." Riku nodded, understanding that the only way to become the leader, was to learn how to perform these moves. "This is what it takes to be our leader Riku. You have been chosen by us, now you must prove to us that you were the correct choice." The Namekian paused, a younger Namekian, most likely a guardian of the council, brought forth an old book that had strange symbols on them. It was rather small, more like a small guide book, possibly just ten pages long, in fact.
"This, Riku, is the guide of our clan. All who have become leaders of the Warrior Caste have been disciples of previous leaders, or learned through this book. It instructs you on how to perform our techniques, and has valuable knowledge inside as well. Please, use this." Riku took the book greatfully, tucking it under his arm as he bowed. "Thank you all for believing I can be your leader. I will return soon, when I have perfected these moves." The councilmen bowed as the saiyan in black left the house, soaring into the sky off to an empty island.
...A Week In Advance...
"AGHHH!" Riku growled as he fired a ki beam from his fingertips which exploded in his face. "Damnit! Why is this move so hard to perform! For someone of my level, learning this shouldn't be this hard!" He sat down, running his hands through his hair. He had removed his training garments and armor, simply training in his jumpsuit. However, he was panting heavily, sweat dripping from his forehead. He sighed and opened the book he recieved from the councilmen, slowly reading the first section, a four page guide on how to perform the Special Beam Cannon. It was mainly a picture depicting the movement the user was recommended to follow followed by a small caption. He was perfectly capable of the first two steps: charging and producing ki into his fingers. However, the output of the ki was what threw him off. He read the output caption aloud.
"The hardest part of performing the secret technique, the Special Beam Cannon is in the release. Once you have been able to charge your ki into your fingers, you need to extend your hand, showing only your index and middle finger. From here, focus on the ki you built up. Pull your arm across your chest, and throw it towards your target, as if you were actually about to throw something at them. Now, all the ki you built up should be released in a medium sized beam, with ki spiraling around it. This is what gives this technique its special property. The speed of the beam and the surrounding ki creates a powerful impact, like a bullet, that would pierce through things. It would be like throwing a blade, except it would be coming at you with the speed of light."
Riku sighed as he stood entering a wide stance. The saiyan held his index and middle finger across his chest and closed his eyes. He began to let his ki flow, pooling into his finger tips. Purple and yellow ki began to sizzle there. The saiyan continued to charge, his veins almost popping as he forced more ki into his fingers. Suddenly, the saiyan in black growled, his power level sky rocketing as red aura engulfed him. His hair became tinted with yellow and his pupils dilated. He was now in his False Super Saiyan form, and he began to charge a massive amount of ki into the technique. "Come on! Let this damn technique work already!" The saiyan reeled back, preparing to fire the attack at a small hill.
"Special...Beam....CANNON!" Launching his fingers forward, a ki beam of yellow and purple rushed towards the hill, piercing right through it and causing it to collapse. The saiyan panted, relaxing as he finished unleashing the blast. "Finally...It worked at last. Now, let me make sure I got the Multi-Form correct." Riku focused his remaining ki into his body, causing a spark inside himself. With a small grunt, the saiyan split in two, his power level splitting amongst them equally. They looked at each other and high fived, proud to have succeeded. The saiyan fused back, making himself one again. It was time he returned to the council, and took his rightful spot as the leader of the Warrior Caste.
Flying back into the village of Warrior Caste Namekians, the saiyan entered the fancy house. The councilmen stood instantly, bowing as Riku walked in. He bowed as well, then procceeded to the throne. "I shall claim the throne, and become your leader! I, Riku, accept the title of Warrior Caste Leader!" Flying into the sky, the saiyan in black projected his voice, letting all of the clan hear him. "People of the Warrior Caste! I am Riku, pupil of your vanished master, Paengi! As you all know, our master has vanished mysteriously, and without a trace! However, me and the council have come to a decision! I shall take the role of leader! I will protect this clan with my life, and keep its tradition alive! I hope you all come to like me, as I have to like your kind. Thank you, and carry on!" As the saiyan descended, a loud roar of cheers filled the area. The Namekians rejoiced at the saiyan's speech, they were happy that the pupil of their leader was now leading them. It was time for Riku to take the throne, to become the Warrior Caste Leader!
