Thread PL: 11,904 | HW: 2,976 | Gravity 1/2 The whole ship buzzed with its new status as a legitimate dojo. They'd reached part of their goal, at least, and it was a good feeling seeing those efforts pay off. After sending notes to other patrolmen up to the same level and above as she, Belle headed for the gravity chamber to do her morning Yoga routine. No, there just weren't enough hours in the day to allow her to do it outside like she preferred sometimes. This early no one else was using it so she made quick work, doing a short but intense routine, before checking her watch and seeing it was almost time for people to start showing up. Taking a deep breath, she kind of wished she'd taken time to tackle fifty by herself, but this was important, too. Learning to deal with it alongside her teammates instead of going solo like she did with forty. Heading over to the other room to set up the Gravity settings, she made fast work of it, setting it to start at a certain time and if anyone was late so help them... The old saying of 'you snooze you lose' came to mind and once they got started, that was it. Once back in the chamber Belle checked her watch again, put her hair up in a ponytail and leaned against the wall. Once everyone was in, they'd begin, until then it was a bit of a waiting game. -- Blegh opener but...better than nothing. In no particular order: Core Stold Samba Gnash Riku

The saiyan in black walked through the area, he had felt a strange presence nearby, and his scouter beeped at a sudden power level appearing. He looked towards the direction of the power level and started to fly towards it. His eyes grew wide as he noticed a large...ship, larger than his own. He could tell that whoever this power level belonged to was in up, maybe training in gravity. The door seemed to be open, and Riku approached it slowly. Walking in he felt a slight breeze as the door opened, the interior large and colorful. He looked around, inspecting the room. It was about ten times as large as his ship, and the looked like a...dojo? It seemed as if this ship was turned into a place for training. For all he knew this could well be the ship of the Galactic Patrol, the group he was looking for.
He paced inside, slowly at first. He wanted to be sure nobody would jump out at him for entering this ship, of course this wasn't his ship so it was likely to happen. As he walked in, he turned, seeing a young blue lady leaning against a wall in training clothes. Suddenly, the saiyan suddenly felt heavy, gravity straining his body. "Whoa...The gravity here is intense! Maybe she's gravity training..." Riku stood, slowly, managing to balance himself. He looked at the lady, a small smile on his face.
"I'm sorry, miss. I didn't mean to barge in here, I was curious to know who this lovely vessel belonged to. By any chance, do you know if the Galactic Patrol is anywhere around here? I really thought this would be the place to find them."
-------- I am assuming as a "member" I can join? If not, well sorry...Probably should disregard this.

It was another day that Core had trouble sleeping, tormented with nightmares and waking up several time in the night, his heart beating so fast it was probably going to explode and his his sense in alert like something was trying to get him, which was odd because there was no one but friends on this ship, even though he couldn’t hear them at all, they were here, not so far, so he’d never be alone of something was to happen to him right here and now, but sometime, fear were irrational, which Core really couldn’t do much about.
Half-asleep and half-awoken, the Arcosian had moved to the dojo-room, which he liked a lot because of how quiet it was yet always having a sound of the gravity chamber functioning near and around him, which the Arcosian felt very relaxing and usually helped him resting himself from the day it was brought to the ship, which apparently was used to train, but that as beside Core’s point right now, he was just seeking for a place where he could rest quietly and win back some sleep that he was still lacking from tonight. The Arcosian stepped early in the room, when there was no one and would put his back against one of the room’s pillar, putting the pillar between him and everything else so he couldn’t be seen by other, and neither could he be felt because, when asleep, his power was suppressing to barely anything.
Core would sleep a good hour, maybe two, when he started to hear someone coming in the room, he didn’t had to disrupt his resting for so little, it was probably just someone training from what he was hearing, and this person didn’t activated the gravity… yet. What really woke Core up was the feeling of the gravity picking up and pushing him down strongly, which would make him open his eyes and step-up before walking to Belle like the gravity wasn’t affection him all that much. ‘’ Hi Belle… slept well?’’ The Arcosian asked nicely to her, noticing that there was this saiyan on the other side of the door, looking at Belle. [ Uh… maybe he has a crush on her or something?] The changeling though before motioning the saiyan to join them, a quiet smile on his face quickly broken by a loud yawn and him stretching his newly formed body.

[Thread PL: 87,524]
Days after training himself to be accustomed to times forty normal gravity, Gnash had taken a bit of a break from gravity training. He wanted to focus more on helping Zam-Zam develop his own fighting skills and not just his own. He was beginning to trust the Majin enough for him to go off on his own and enjoy life. If that were to be the case forever, he had to know how to defend himself. He had to possess the power in order to defend himself. His defensive capabilities were impeccable, but his finesse and offensive power still lacked. Fortunately, Gnash had found the time to tutor him right before embarking on his journey to conquer times forty normal gravity.
Stationed underneath the shadows cast over the opening in the middle of the Eastern Lands, the large hooded Namekian crossed his legs underneath his rump. The shadows allowed for an ideal meditation location, seeing as they provided a nippy atmosphere rather than sweating his ass off in the sun. The palms of his hands rest against his knees, eyelids hiding the golden hues that lie within. His companion, the Majin Zam-Zam was out in opening, throwing a variety of kicks and punches towards the ambient air. His slanted eyes were dead-set on leaves that were strewn throughout the air, knocked loose from the trees by the breezes that enveloped their tiny training area.
“He seems to be determined.. This is great. I suppose it is because I am rewarding him with more food.. But that is the only way I can get him to train. Bribing. It is working, though.” Gnash lifted the brim of his eyelid to watch the flurry of strikes Zam-Zam displayed. He was throwing every ounce of his energy into these punches and kicks, so much so that he didn’t realize he was floating in the air, the force behind his strikes carrying him further and further into the air. Once he actually realized what had been occurring, the pink blob fell straight to the ground. His head had gotten buried beneath a soft mound of soil, one that he’d kicked up during his little tussle with the floating vegetation. This ridiculous act caused a chuckle to surface upon Gnash’s lips, knocking him from his trance of tranquility.
“Zammy, you can be a riot sometimes.” The Namekian lept to his feet, walking over towards the Majin. Zam-Zam pulled his head from the ground, earholes, nose and mouth filled with the remnants of the mound. He shook his body around like a dog, spraying specs of soil all around him in a three-hundred and sixty degree radius. Gnash brought his arm up towards his face, using his pink-patched forearm to block any of the debris. “Zam-Zam tried his best! It was tough.. Zam-Zam was punchin’, and Zam-Zam was kickin’, and Zam-Zam was even headbutting! Did you see it, Ash? Zam-Zam was all like, wahhppoowwww! And then, and then, Shwaapaaaap! Did you like it, Ash? Did Zam-Zam do good?”
“I loved it, Zammy. I loved i-” -- “Hello! Hellloooo!” A voice to their left caught the immediate attention of the duo. There was a young man, looked to be in his late teens or possibly early twenties. He had dirty blonde hair that was plastered to the top of his head like a wet mop, only held together by a baseball cap. He was dressed in your usual light-blue button-up shirt, navy blue dress pants and ordinary sneakers. Clasped around his shoulder was a brown leather shoulder bag. As he approached both Gnash and Zam-Zam, he looked down into the bag at his side, one hand being used to hold up the flap while the other rummaged around in the contents.
“Ahhh.. Let’s see here.. I have a letter here addressed to one Mr. Gna-” The man clamped his digits around a small white envelope, pulling it from his bag. Once his eyes were released from the shelter of the bill from his cap and he saw Gnash and Zam-Zam, he jumped about three feet into the air going backwards. He landed right on his ass with a loud thud, a girly squeal jetting from between his lips. He glanced back and forth between both the Namekian and the Majin, tears forming in his eyes. He threw the letter at them, back-pedaling until he slammed up against a tree. “T-t-take the letter, just d-don’t hurt me!” The duo had been dumbfounded by this man’s terrified demeanor. Had he never seen one of their kind before? “Erm, sir. You can calm down. You’re fine, we aren’t going to attack you.” Gnash took a few steps towards the young man while Zam-Zam scrambled to collect the floating note. “Zammy, don’t open it yet. Wait for me,” the Namekian spoke as he leaned down towards the man, extending his massive green hand.
The man shied back in fear, kicking his leg out. The bottom of his foot smashed against Gnash’s chiseled chin, causing him to rear back with a pained grunt. His hands immediately grasped for the bruise now settled upon his emerald skin. The man took this opportunity to get the hell out of dodge, sprinting through the forest while screaming his heart out. Gnash’s yellow eyes followed him as he stood, gently rubbing his chin. Zam-Zam stood beside his seven-foot-eight companion, letter clutched inside of his pink hands. “Should Zam-Zam go after him?” Gnash shook his head from side-to-side, reaching down to take the note from the Majin. “Don’t worry about him. Not like we’ll ever see him again. The world is a vast place, Zam-Zam.”
Gnash used his sharpened talons to cut the envelope open, slipping the small note out. His eyes quickly dart across the words sprawled along the paper, promptly folding it back up in a matter of seconds. “Alright, it seems as if Belle is looking for some training partners in the gravity chamber. I have to take this, Zammy. You’ll be fine here? You promise me you won’t run off to the city and terrorize the citizens like last time?” The Majin eagerly shook his head up and down, the two antenna jiggling around atop his pink cranium.
About twenty minutes later, Gnash was tapping the back of his hand against the door leading into the gravity chamber. The door slid into its compartment inside of the wall, allowing Gnash entry. The large Namekian had to duck like always in order to actually fit through the doorway, an act he had to perform almost everywhere he went. It wasn’t easy being this tall, especially green. Right off the bat, Gnash’s eyes locked onto two familiar faces; Belle, the bio-android cotton-candy lady, and Core; A child Arcosian whom he’d met a few days ago inside of the kitchen. He flashed both of them a warm smile and a courteous wave. “Hello you two. Glad to see I’m not the only one who showed up.”
Gnash turned his head to the right, yellow saucers attached to a familiar face. It was a man, or rather, a Saiyan he’d been preaching about since first joining the Galactic Patrol. The man who’d helped bring both Kaito and himself together during a two-on-one spar, the man who’d helped Gnash accomplish his goal of arriving on Namek. The Saiyan of Darkness, the Warrior of Death, the Man of Many Monikers; Riku. “R-Riku..? What are you doing here?” He looked up and down his friends gloomy frame, searching for a Galactic patrol symbol. “Are you..? Are you a part of the Galactic Patrol, or just visiting?” Gnash took a few steps forward, extending his arms out to pull his old friend into a hug. He’d missed him, that was for sure. Did Kaito even know he was back on Earth, yet?

Thread PL: 53854 || Heavyweights: 13464 Samba woke up bright and early and did his normal morning routine as he let his body wake up and get filled with energy, and what better way to accelerate the process than by filling your body with what it needed the most, sustenance? As he looked through the fridge in search for food the male heard the sound of paper shifting in the wind and he looked down at the ground where a piece of paper stared back at him, his name in clear print and bolded right at the top of the message. Curiosity piqued the male picked the note up and read it, smiling at the request for those that had achieved mastery around forty times Earth's own gravity to come forth towards the gravity chamber to continue their training.
It seemed someone knew him all too well to just pin the note right where he would find it, and speaking of which his stomach growled to remind him that it wanted food, and it wanted it now. Half an hour later the male patted his stomach as he left the kitchen feeling much better, muffling a burp with his fist because it would be his luck if Beryl appeared around the corner and called him a rude beast with no manners or something like that.
The Wolf Zoanthrope was still trying to pin down Beryl's personality and quirks besides the ones that he had already seen thus far, at least the male let him live inside the ship and not on the streets, well more on the mountains than anything really. It was nice after a while but as the years passed the novelty just bore away and staring at the roof of a cave became more like a chore now.
Samba hummed a tune under his breath as he moved across the hallways that littered the spaceship, it was a had song that he had heard blasting across the radios in Satan City, but sometimes she could swear that the noise was following him here but he never managed to pin down where the racket was coming from. He just chalked up to some kind of inbuilt speaker and left it as that, no need to worry about it if Beryl wasn't dealing with the issue since perhaps he deemed it as unimportant.
The dark-furred wolf stopped at the interception of a hallway as he felt a very unfamiliar and very much familiar Ki(s) across his senses like a fast speeding bullet. While on one hand the male Zoanthrope was really happy that Core was onboard on the ship, possibly because he was an actual member since he trained under Beryl, he was wary of this strange aura that he had not felt before, not even any residual energy that normally clung to the walls of the ship seemed to belong to this new individual.
And was that Belle and Gnash he could also sense in the same room with Core and this new stranger? He didn't have much to worry about then if Core and Gnash were on the case, but he'd rather go and check for himself and see what was going on. Heck for all he knew this could be a new member just like him! With his tail wagging slightly behind him the male turned toward the hallway that would lead him to the three and started walking, realizing around halfway that it would lead him straight to the gravity chamber, and his excitement grew by the second.
Perhaps he could kill two birds with one stone, meet a new member of the GP and train in a new gravity while at it? It was a win-win in his book.
He turned a corner and heard the end of what he now knew was a male, and a Saiyan one at that considering the tail and his choice of attire that resembled those he had seen thus far. The Zoan blinked at this and frowned slightly, though the Saiyan seemed to not be hostile he still decided to keep his guard up just in case the male thought of doing anything rash.
Not that Beryl, Gnash or even Core couldn't control the male or anything if he turned hostile, but the more the merrier or so the saying went.
"This is the Galactic Patrol's spaceship, yes." Samba drawled, his voice naturally booming like thunder as he almost loomed over Riku's form with his six-foot-two-inches height, he threw Gnash a look when he seemed to know this particular Saiyan, even going so far as to aim for a hug! It was clear that they knew each other from somewhere, and since he was a familiar face that Gnash recognized and felt at ease with the Zoan let his previously tensed shoulders drop minutely, no need to appear like a snarling beast around the man that had won the Namekian's trust.
He turned amused eyes then when he saw what was just about to happen, and couldn't help but comment. "And you're currently inside the Gravity Chamber and about to experience Earth's gravity times fifty. Hold on by the way." That being said Samba grunted as the gravity immediately pressed down his shoulders, and across his whole body, it was a step up from last time when he, Gnash and Belle fought against Beryl in gravity times forty of Earth's own gravity. It made his knees buckle slightly but the male stood firm through sheer stubbornness.
"Good morning Belle, Core, Gnash." Samba nodded at each, in turn, sending a tentative smile at Belle and a slightly happier mile at Core. "So, gravity training times fifty eh? Sounds like a challenge I wouldn't mind undertaking!" The male grinned at them all, already pumped up to start this training session and make it a good one for everyone involved.

As time wore on she worried she’d be alone again, and sort of also hoped that turned into the case. But it was early still and in walked...someone she didn’t know. Wait. no, she did know him from that strange time he, Gnash and Kaito landed on Namek. For the life of her she couldn't remember his name but then again she’d always been better with faces. It seemed he didn’t recognize her, either, and there was a lot more of her to remember to be sure. That time on Namek notwithstanding, she also held a certain amount of iconography across the Galaxy. Pop sweetheart and actress, she had a lot under her belt, but it seemed more and more lately people didn’t know who she was. Certainly this stranger noticed the scattered reporters outside hoping to catch a glimpse? Well, if not he was denser than a damn brick, but that was alright and nothing she’d hold against him. And he seemed to be inquiring into the Patrol, another unforeseen bonus. Putting on her best smile that she tended to wear at award shows, Belle opened her mouth to reply but shut it as Core came in. The next smile was genuine and she said, “ Good morning, Core, I...I”m alright, thanks. How did you sleep?” The kid looked a little worse for wear, ragged around the edges, and the starlet was concerned for him. But their conversation got cut short as Gnash showed up. It seemed everyone decided to get there at once, how keen. Not only did the Namekian greet them, cordial as ever, but she smiled as she witnessed Ghash re-unite with his friend whom he named Riku out loud. Yes, that was right, she remembered now the time the three came out of the ship together. Pity Kaito wasn’t there to complete the reunion. “ Gnash, glad you could make it,” she said, and looked back towards the door as another familiar face came through it, carried by massive feet. "' Morning, Samba..." At least Core was shorter than her, for now, so she didn’t add ‘shortest’ to her list of adjectives describing herself within the Galactic Patrol’s ranks. Samba loomed over them all and she bit her lower lip to keep from speaking out. At least he answered Riku’s question Her lips turned up and she hel back laughter as Samba more or less deadpanned to Riku exactly where he’d wound up. The moment ended nearly as soon as it began and she controlled her expression once more, schooling it back to ‘mildly pleasant.’ “ Alright,” she said, sealing the door - sealing them all inside. “ So, boys, what’ll it be?” And with that she ramped the gravity up to fifty, feeling the pressure almost immediately. Her own recent training in forty, all the time she spent there, felt like a good time investment, indeed as the Gravity affected her way less than the last time she’d been in this room with Gnash and Samba. She still needed to adjust, but it wasn't nearly as bad as that other time. Riku

The minutes passed swiftly and every minute it seemed someone new would arrIve to the party. Along with him and the blue lady, a lizard stepped into the area, greeting Belle, as he called the blue lady. Riku inspected the Arcosian, looking him up and down. It seemed as though he too was looking at the saiyan in black, wondering why he was in the ship. Suddenly, the Arcosian motioned for him to come over. The saiyan slowly walked towards the two, but paused as he felt someone else enter the room. A green creature in a hood walked through the door and greeted the two specimen before him. Riku's eyes widened, a sudden excitement filling him. His mouth began to edge to the side, giving a small smirk as he looked at the man.
The saiyan in black folded his arms and watched as he conversed with the two, then suddenly turned to him. The two locked eyes for a good few moments, before the familiar Namekian broken the silence. This was Gnash, his friend who he had brought to Namek a while ago. It hadn't been so long since their arrival, but when they returned they split paths. The Namekian came by and pulled Riku into a hug. The saiyan returned the embrace, giving Gnash a warm and hearty hug. He had been reunited with his friend. Hell, maybe Kaito was here, too. He looked towards another being who had entered. A giant...wolf? He towered over Riku, a buff body along with his massive height. The creature assured that this was the dojo of the Galactic Patrol, he had finally made it.
"Really!? Awesome. I have been looking for the patrol for a while. I'm glad that I found this place. Gnash, I actually want to join the patrol. It is good to see you, friend. Is Kaito around, by any chance?" Riku turned, Belle closing the door of the ship. She fully turned up the gravity, straining the saiyans body. Riku forces himself to stand composed, looking straight at her. "I've come to become a member, so I might as well show what I can do, no? Also, I would like to speak with your leader, I hear his name is Beryl, will he be joining us?"

The young Arcosian would rub his eyes in a cute childish way before looking up at Belle; she had a nice and bright smile, which made him smile back brightly even though he wasn’t done with his eye rubbing. ‘’ Oh! Good morning Belle! Nice to know you’re going well!’’ Core would begin as he let a yawn slip out of him before answering her next question. ‘’ And to be honest… I’ve slept better… it seems like I have a certain personal problem… unable to sleep alone in a room… really nothing I won’t be able to overcome… or at least I think so…’’ Core would admit to his galactic patrol friend, he knew she wasn’t going to judge him or anything, they were on the same team and she had no reason at all, he was believing she would be more of a good friend, and each of them could also be, if he was going to know them well enough. He was hoping to see in the Galactic Patrol as a group of united friend against injustice in the galaxy, not just a bunch of random people that were barely knowing each other and had to assemble because they were told so.
When the next member of the Galactic Patrol Core didn’t know walked in, it was something quite impressive. Looking like a giant green goliath, Core would instantly recognize the look and sympatric attitude of a namekians. Core was impressed, it was his first time seeing a Namekian, and with everything he had heard about this species, he couldn’t wait to speak with this one, and to think he was going to work with a Namekian, it was really making his day to meet so many new faces. Core was about to introduce himself to the new namekian that had entered the room, he would look right at the saiyan man and would kind of ignore Core, which would make him raise his shoulder and let them down in disappointment. [Well, I guess I’m going to have to wait until this reunion if over to meet my first namekian ever, but I’m glad he already knows someone here, it will be easier for him to get in the group… I just know Beryl so it might be a little harder for me…] Core would think as he looked away from the two, a bit jealous of their friendship.
The next voice to come to Core’s ears would be a much more familiar one, the one of the wolf Zoantrope he knew as Samba, which he had met back then when he was at his pond with Kay, he would smile and turn back quickly to Samba. ‘’ Oh hi Samba, good morning to you! And oh… was the gravity at time fifty this whole time?!’’ Core would say out loud, looking at Samba, then bell in a bit of a panic. ‘’ You guys could have told me earlier?! I was sleeping here, my blood could have gone all the way to my feet before I even woke up!’’ Core would say before slowing calming down as he jumped on himself happily. ‘’ Eh… anyway… sorry for that wind of panic i… over-reacted… it’s probably the lack of sleep…. Truly sorry…’’ The Arcosian would then say in a calmed and more polite voice, looking over at Samba. ‘’ so, you looked for Beryl after I mentioned him didn’t you? It’s nice to have you on the team! Maybe we can get to know each other a bit more now, you know, become friends and stuff like that!’’ Core would mention with an overly-happy voice.
The young Arcosian, hearing Belle’s word and understanding that he got himself into training he had no idea of, would star stretching him and getting ready for the worst and the best. ‘’ Well, I have no idea; I’ve never trained with that much people in the gravity chamber before… maybe we could… uh… I really have no idea…’’ Core would admit, taking a rather confused face and looking at everyone around to see if there was an answer. ‘’ There is clearly no easy match up, but maybe we could… make two team and fight against each other? We’d all suppress our power level to the weakest one here so we can all fight equals?’’ Core would simply propose, having no idea how to train with many people, but at least he was trying to find some idea.
The last thing that Core would notice would be the new saiyan’s words; he was apparently not even from the Galactic Patrol and looking for Beryl. ‘’ Uh… I don’t know if Beryl will be joining… he’s probably out doing more important stuff… but who know, he might just be around the corner and listening to us with his power level suppressed… we never know with someone this impressive and strong, I just assume he could be anywhere… but it’d be nice if we could like ALL meet at the same time right?!’’ Core would say, looking at everyone with a wide smile, he felt like they had a nice team going on right now.

“That’s amazing. I didn’t think you would be back from Namek as soon as me, though. I’m glad you have decided to join up with the Patrol.. I’m sure we would love to have you!” The Namekian glanced around at his colleagues, searching for confirmation. He believed that everyone would side with him on this. Riku wasn’t necessarily a bad man. In fact, he was one of the only Saiyans Gnash liked, right along with Cornatto and Celmaru. He hadn’t met many others, as the SSE set a standard for his assumptions. “Kaito, yes! He’s around. I don’t necessarily think he is here right now, but he is a member of the Galactic Patrol, just as us! After landing on Namek, him and I explored around for a while. We were both asked to join the Galactic Patrol by Beryl Roarke himself. At least I remember him asking me. That is besides the point. Kaito and I flew back to Earth together with Taichou and Belle, and we’ve been training our hearts out ever since.” Gnash spoke with a smirk upon his face. He never would have thought in a million years that Riku would join the Galactic Patrol.
A familiar power level and voice met his ears from behind. His nostrils flared from the smell of the Zoanthrope Samba. He was a giant wolf-man who he’d met while training under thirty times normal gravity. He was a fairly nice being, extremely powerful as well. His skill in martial arts and battle tactics were honed to a fine point, so much so that he lasted a bit longer in a battle with Taichou than even Gnash himself had. All in all, Gnash was happy to be able to call this man not only his friend, but a comrade. A friendly nod accompanied his pearly grin with his greeting to the Zoanthrope; “Good morning, Samba. Times fifty gravity, yes. It’s going to be a trip, I am sure of it. I remember struggling with times forty gravity. It wasn’t an easy task, and this will not be either.”
Gnash took a few steps into the expansive chamber, trying to create some distance between him and the rest of the group. He needed his own space in order to get used to times fifty normal gravity. Surely it wouldn’t be easy, no. Fifty was a universal number, presumably one within the realm of gravity training. He shot Belle fierce look of determination as her fingers tapped softly against the controls in the other room. The weight in the room suddenly amplified, causing the Namekians knees to wobble underneath the pressure. His arms felt heavy, being pressed harshly against his hips. He closed his eyes, focusing all of his energy on staying afloat. The last two times he’d been training under gravity, he was made out to look like a chump. He was forced to his knees and his face skid across the white tile floors that he dreaded looking at so much.
“You’ve got this, Gnash. This is just ten times stronger than forty. You conquered that no problem. Don’t allow yourself to fall, because it only continues to get worse from here on out.” Gnash ran a few thoughts of encouragement through his cranium, opening his eyes once more. He glanced over towards his quartet of friends. They didn’t seem to be struggling at all. At least not nearly as much as the Namekian. They were strong individuals, no doubt about it. They’d probably been training themselves much harder than he had. That was blatantly obvious in their diligence and resistance towards the overwhelming gravity.
“You’re right Core, there isn’t.” Gnash joined the fray, slowly trudging his way towards the others. Core had brought up a decent idea, but it wasn’t one that he wanted to bring to fruition today. Riku was here. His friend was here. They’d sparred back on his ship whilst going to Namek, only it had been a two on one battle. Kaito and Gnash had gotten severely punked out by the much stronger Saiyan of Darkness. He wanted to try and change that. He wanted to see how much stronger his friend had become. “If it is ok with everyone here, I would like to spar with Riku. Kaito and I were outmatched last time. I feel as if my power alone will be sufficient enough to take you on.” Gnash allowed his lips to curl into an almost heinous grin. He didn’t mean for it to come off that way, but with his gnarly features and being the race that he was, it was hard to avoid those sort of expressions.
“I would like to spar with you, Riku. One-on-one. I want to gauge how much you’ve grown, and also test my own strength.” He held his arm out to the side, beckoning towards the right side of the chamber. The entire room itself was large enough for all five of them to engage in their own activities and then some. “Unless this puts a damper on everyone else's plans? I apologize if it does so. Hopefully you can understand my eagerness to spar with the man who’d so easily demolished me before.”

"What'll be indeed," Samba grunted as he observed those around him with a critical eye, the answer to such a large gathering of people was obvious to him, either there was gonna be a free for all battle between or teammates would be choosen to put aside to train sort of in private. Samba was fine with both ideas, the last one already pumping him with energy to fight everyone in this chamber, but he could see the benefits of just focusing on one opponent at a time and learning their battle styles. That sort of thing helps you out there in the field, he learned that much from his Father. A 'pack' only works together if everyone is brought together as a cohesive unit after all, no one gets left behind and no one is despendable like yesterday trash if everything goes south. Everyone took care of each other and made sure everyone came back home alive. Shaking his head the Wolf Zoan turned toward the Saiyan in their midst, an eyebrow arched in his direction. So Gnash and Kaito knew about this Riku person, whom seemed to have some sort of history between the two of them. He wondered what was the deal about that, was it a student-teacher relationship or perhaps just close friends meeting each other after a long period of time? Hell, perhaps it was both, for all he knew. "I am afraid that he won't be joining us. Like Core said, Bossman is probably really busy with paperwork or something. But he usually has a record on who uses the Gravity Chamber and stuff, and besides he might have sensed your energy entering the ship a long time ago, and since we're here he perhaps deem it unnecessary to step in for now." Samba was sure though that when everything was said and done that Beryl would turn up and perhaps interview the dark-haired Saiyan on why he wanted to join the Galactic Patrol. Samba frowned at Core and patted his head, concern shining in his green colored eyes. "Having some trouble sleeping, Core? Perhaps you should drink some hot milk before going to bed, that usually works for me." He wasn't sure if he should voice out that there was also the choice of sleeping pills, stuff normally used for those that couldn't slept or didn't really get a good night of rest so much that it was making them sick. Who knew what would Earthling medicine do to an Arcosian's biology. Speaking of, what would Earth's medicine do to Saiyans as a whole anyway? They were mostly human beside their tail and the ability to turn into big giant apes at the light of the full moon (something which he felt was really ironic considering his own species), so perhaps they wouldn't suffer any side effects from taking Earth's medicine into their bodies? As he wondered about that his mind switched to the topic of poisons and ailments, and he wisely brushed that subject aside before he got in too deep and let his mind wander off. He'd think about that topic later when he was alone and not in the company of so many people. Thankfully he came back to hear Gnash's request to fight the Saiyan by himself, if he was honest with himself he was a little disappointed that he wouldn't be fighting the Saiyan himself, he wanted to see how far he had become as he fought a Saiyan and Riku seemed to be really strong at first glance, he could also see that the male was wearing weights of some kind, and after a quick scan he realized that Riku was about double his strength right now compared to the Zoan. But he wouldn't whine unfairness if Gnash wanted a go against the man, after all, they knew each other and the Namekian had a very good reason to spar against Riku. So he shrugged his shoulders with a grin. "Disappointing. Not gonna lie, but not the end of the world Gnash. But kick his ass extra hard for me, alright?" Chuckling lightly under his breath the male moved away to let the two of them have their own space to fight without worrying about the collateral damage. With heavy steps the Zoan approached @hannabelle and Core and looked at each of them in turn, his tail softly swaying behind him side to side as a wild grin stretched across his muzzle. "Say, what about a free for all between all three of us? It would give us a chance to work on our perception of the battlefield and to practice always staying alert when multiple enemies are around?" It sounded fairly good to him, you never now when you're gonna get ambushed by a sqaud of opponents and if you were unprepared their number could easily trampel you over in no time flat. "That said..." Samba closed his eyes and concentrated deeply, and those that could sense Ki would feel his power level dropping down drastically until he was at the same level as Belle's. No need to go overkill when it was a spar between friends. Later on they might practice against the overwhelming odds of an opponent much powerful than you, but for now they were good to go with just a free for all. "There, that should do it." Stepping backward and off to their own little space the male settled into his fighting stance, his face serious as his eyes shifted from the blue-skinned Human and the Arcosian. "Ready when you two are. Let's make this a good match, shall we?" Samba winked at them playfully with a smirk. If one of them just wanted to train all by themselves while two other sparred then that was fine with him as well, he was fine with anything so long as he got a good workout out of this. Technique used: [UT2]Ki Setting: Samba dropped his PL to 3000.

Belle: 1001 zeni (New Total 4113 from 3112!)
Samba: 5351 power level (gravity had to be taken out. Used the weights and the dojo modifiers, as those can work together and are higher than the gravity chamber. Gravity Chambers are a solo aspect that people can use.) (New total 78,806 from 73,455)
Riku: 1525 power level (same note to you as well!) (69,221 from 67,696)
