Nicolas Mclendon ((PL: 2,835,195 - under the influence of the Makyo Star. Base is 257,745))“I didn’t say you could leave, damn it!”“We’re done, Denizen! Alright, shit? I’m gonna leave and never come back, asshole!” Zerori snarled at her employer, walking out of the elevator as he fought to keep up at her pace. His black overcoat billowing behind him, he glared at her as he walked just behind her. A fear black man, he stood over most at a height of six foot and his lost eye (covered by a patch) was all the fine touch he needed to keep his reputation up. “I couldn’t give a shit if you just handed me your will or your damned ship – you’ve ignored all my calls in favor of whatever vacation you decided to take and then come back to tell me you’re leaving?!” He reached for her shoulder, grasping it firmly to turn her back around, “You’ve got a lot of making up to do.” Zerori’s eyes narrowed in on him with death in mind, fists clenched at her sides as she pointed turned her face to look at his hand on her arm. Looking back at him, she only received a response in the form of Denizen raising his brows before she reached for his hand with the opposite. “I can’t. Not right now; look, sorry I wasn’t around but my goal is a little bigger than whatever business you’re launching next week. I can’t help you.” “You’re not just gonna-!” Turning around, she raised a hand to snap her fingers towards a plant, spontaneously combusting it before she replied, “I’m doin’ it,” Quickly, the fire would begin to spread from the curtains next to the plant and get more wild by the second. “Might wanna take care of that!” She sent over her shoulder with a smirk before walking out of the automatic double doors and right past the tailored gardens outside. The next destination was her apartments, intent to pack as many things as she could to be prepared… When she got to the street, Zerori eyed the intersection with a lost expression – realizing that she didn’t really remember where her other apartment was. She’d stashed one in damn near every city except the South Capitol, so naturally… she didn’t keep up well with them. “There’s gotta be a-,” She looked around, thinking out loud to herself, “-map of the city somewhere, right?” With a growl, she was starting to feel a headache invade her temple again. Great... that time again...

As one hero was cutting personal ties, another was desperately trying to restore theirs. The not-so-super Nicolas Mclendon was walking through the busy streets of the western capitol while talking on his cellphone. It had been weeks since his *fall at the hands of the vicious Realigner Red and merely days since he was restored by the dragon balls; since then the young man was using his time to try and restore his former life (going missing for several weeks had the tendency to cause some issues after all.) From little things like getting back into school to the important stuff like seeing his family: Nicolas was keeping himself busy. At the moment the restored young man was on the phone with a potential employer because there was little chance he was gonna get his old job back. "I submitted my application...Did you all get it?" "..." "Well what time is she going to be in?" "..." "How do you not know when the HR person is supposed to be in?! Y'all don't have a regular schedule?!" "..." "I'm sorry, I'm sorry...Thing's have just been a little hectic...I'll call back later." He hung his head as he let out a dramatic, exasperated sigh. The pain of job hunting weighed down on him with such force that his shoulders were slumping. The stress of pulling himself back together was causing him to stress out in general. Things seemed so simple before, while he was in heaven he didn't have to deal with any of the nonsense he was battling with currently. If it weren't for his unending optimism and general sunny demeanor he would have probably broken down already. He always had his Captain Nova persona to escape into too whenever he needed a break, so that helped too. The young man reached behind his wavy, shoulder-length hair to scratch the back of his neck as he arched his back to stretch. He let out a groan as he relaxed. He took a moment to close his eyes to contemplate on his next move. He didn't have much time to think though as the hurried 'clacks' of footsteps filled his ears, the pace made them stand out among the sea of footsteps that were leisurely strolling about and with his brief time playing the super hero he learned that usually meant someone was in trouble or looking for trouble. His eyes shot open as he looked about for the source of the foot steps only to freeze when his eyes locked unto the demonic saiyaness.
She was the blazing beauty who got in the bout with the malicious majin who aligned himself with Realigner Red! The one he could hardly keep his eyes off of! What were the chances that they'd cross paths again? He had to approach her. As terrifying as it was he had to say something. Plus, there was the chance that she was in trouble somehow so he had to help if he could! He imagined it: he'd walk up all confident and cool, flash a charming grin, before making his presence known. He'd stare into her sapphire eyes and say: 'Hey.' She'd look back, with the barest hints of a blush and say: 'Hey.' Then he'd offer a hand and be like: 'Do you need a hand? I'm always willing to help someone in need...' Yeah, that'd be cool... She'd totally be into him if he introduced himself like that! So he walked over to her while waving. "H-hey there!" He spoke with a slight stammer. A fierce nervousness physically took hold of him which caused him to stumble in his approach. Yes this was going beautifully. Exactly how he wanted to introduce himself, 10/10, grandest entrance. He managed to catch himself and right his posture. A sheepish grin and a nervous flush took his face hostage as he desperately scratched the back of his neck in a failed attempt to appear nonchalant. "Are you lost or something? I kinda live here so I can help you find wherever you're looking for if you'd like!" He spoke, his voice accelerating with each word. He swallowed as much of his nervousness as he could as he met her gaze so he could formally introduce himself. "I'm Nicolas, Nicolas Mclendon." He almost had the urge to finish it with 'you might have heard of me' but he hasn't done anything of note. Yes there was no way this could go wrong at all. Finding a map was proving impossible, just absolutely impossible! The city had recovered quite a lot since the invasion of vampires and saiyans but apparently whomever was in charge had decided to change the layout of some of the streets or something! She remembered the name was ‘Sideways Dr.’, which confused her because… why? But what irritated her the most was that maps apparently weren’t available in her area anymore. Shaking her head, she was almost resigned to leave with her effects’ fate left to chance when a voice called to her. Or at least, she thought it was her. Looking up, she spied a male with mid-length brown hair down to his shoulders, along with facial hair as he waved at her to get her attention. Narrowing her eyes at him, she tried to place where she might know him but… nothing came to mind. Turning to him completely, she waved back with a straight face, “Hey there, your s-” She paused, her eyes widening when it looked as though he almost tripped over himself. What’s wrong with him? Came a stray though before she placed a hand on her hip with a grin, “Don’t hurt yourself,” She delivered with an unintentionally deep tone.” She took in his appearance more closely as he spoke, listening as she did so. Not bothering to hide how she looked him up and down, she noticed that his musculature behind his shirt wasn’t as a superfluous as she imagined from his face. He had planes where they were meant to be and she could just slightly spy what looked to be a sizable six-pack. He could survive… Looking back at his face, she recalled what his said and her face was a mask of what would look like surprise. He was obviously interested in her but… what made a human so willing to approach her. Unlucky for him, I may just take the hint, She grinned at him then. “I am lost,” Her fangs were clear to see as she looked at him with a very self-inflated opinion of herself, “Sure, a tour would be great.” Reaching out, she assertively grasp his hand in hers to shake it once, firmly before she gave him a wink. Just a little… hint at what he would be up against. “Zerori, of Vegeta. pleasure to meet you.” Poor Zerori was seeing all the wrong messages in all the wrong places… but was the adventure young Mclendon really so unfortunate?

"...Gesundheit" He responded to the declaration of her heritage, thinking she might have sneezed or something due to his ignorance of the word 'Vegeta.' "I-It's nice to meet you though Zerori." He quickly spoke, a crimson flush burning on his cheeks as she gave him a playful wink and a surprisingly firm shake of the hand. Though, he somewhat expected it seeing as how he saw firsthand her super powers in the bout against the villainous robot. He let his arm slack with slight resistance in a meager display of strength that made him seem normal, that combined with his hidden power level made him appear much weaker than he already was (compared to her.) Still he couldn't believe that he had gotten this far at all. Part of him (the realistic part) assumed she would have laughed at him and walked away. Still, here he was with his all his goofiness and the woman was still essentially looking to spend time with him. (For some reason) He didn't screw this up yet. (He probably would.) So he took a moment to clear his throat, adjust his glasses, and attempt to regain what little composure he had. "Well..." He began, turning to her as he spoke. Despite his clumsy approach and nervous expression he was still apparently bold enough to keep eye contact when speaking to her. "Well I could certainly lead you where you need to go but I could also show you around a bit maybe?" His tone raised an octave as he shifted into his pseudo attempt to ask her out. He scratched the back of his neck nervously, as he tried to gather his strength, courage, and heart to deliver his next line. "Y'know, there's a few pretty good restaurants in the area, maybe if we could stop somewhere first...If you aren't in a hurry... It'd be my treat of course!" Smooth as sandpaper... ...Shit, did he have enough Zeni?

G-Gesun…what? She didn’t know what to think of his response to her name, her head tilted to the side in confusion but she kept the grin, though a bit strained. When he seemed pleased with her name, that odd stutter still present, the saiyaness felt her lip twitch upwards. In her days as a mercenary earlier, she’d made many weaker men fall to her seduction and wiles during quite a few jobs. Being a woman had it’s benefits as well in such situations. For some reason, though – perhaps it was how naive he seemed to come off to her, it felt almost mean to tease him. Almost. It appeased her that he was almost pruning himself before her, fueling more of Zerori’s misunderstanding of his intentions. He offered to her show her around beyond the destination she needed to go and she felt a little humbled by this as she wasn’t used to Earth rituals. Were they like any other date? Would she need to keep a weapon on her in case they courted for combat? Upon further deduction… he wanted to eat with her? Her smile widened and she chuckled, almost relieved that he wanted to take it slow. Not my usual pace but, hey, I’m open to new ideas! “Is that a dinner date you’re askin’ for?” Her voice lowered to tease him before she ceased to speak more lively about it. “Dinner would be nice, Mr. Mclendon. As a matter of fact-” A low grumble could be heard, interrupting her sentence rather rudely before she could finish. Stopped in mid-sentence, she promptly closed her mouth and looked off to the side with her jaw tensed. She’d meant to say ‘I’m feeling peckish’… but leave it to the thought of food she hadn’t eaten in a day to speak for her. The sound wasn’t too terribly loud that it collected the attention of people around her but HE was right next to her! Turning back to him, embarrassingly flushed, she tried to amend the situation. “Make a deal with you,” She spoke softly, bring a hand down to press against her exposed midsection, “I’ll accept if you politely ignore that.” He seemed quite the gentleman so, should he accept, she would bring hand up to his face and hold it there and giving him a grateful kiss on forehead before releasing him. Taking a step back, she awaited his response before asking, “Now, what did you have in mind? I’ll warn you, Little Man, I’ve a decent amount of saiyan blood so don’t expect it to be cheap!”

The sight of her blush combined with the sweet little kiss on his forehead was enough to make him redden with a combination of excitement and embarrassment. Regardless, there were stars in his eyes and he was practically in her palm. Even if she was caught of guard and betrayed by her growling stomach it was clear the young man thought no less of her. He shook of the daze from cupid's arrow as she brought up her heritage. Something should have alarmed (and it would have if he were alive for their invasion) but he just sort of brushed it off. In fact, he thought it made her more unbelievable. After all, how cool was it that he was taking a beautiful alien out to dinner? He was living the Captain Nova life without even having to toss on a cape. He gave her a genuine smile before boldly taking her hand.
"A saiyan huh? I guess that explains the obvious...Tail there..." He said, glancing down finally acknowledging her monkey tail. "I mean, I remember reading that saiyans were linked to monkeys somehow but I kinda assumed you were half Zoanthrope or something..." He chuckled giving her hand a playful little squeeze. "Well enough about that , if that thing I'm not supposed to recall was any indication food would be best." He grinned before turning, still holding her hand. "Follow me!" Something in the back of his mind kept telling him he was playing with fire but he was too enamored with it's warmth to care.
As they walked they'd get a few glances here and there. Some were of envy, some disbelief, others outright laughed at the stupid grin on Nicolas' face but he didn't care in the slightest. He glanced aside to his 'date' with a smile. "Soo... Uh...What do saiyans like to eat? I mean, I'm sure your taste buds aren't that different b-but I wanna leave a decent impression if I can." He laughed twice, nervousness slipping in. He swallowed his fear and tried his best to enjoy himself.

How thoughtful that he noticed only after I mentioned it Zerori mused with a smirk. At his introspection on her race the saiyaness felt a sudden strike of anger at the mention of being related to monkeys. Swallowing firmly, she tensed her jaw but maintained the smile on her face – albeit a bit more stern than it was before. He’s smarter than to insult me so soon after meeting me, I’m certain of it, She told herself to calm down, very much snippy and cracking her neck to alleviate some of the tension she felt. The squeeze of his hand in hers helped to caught her off guard, pulling her along toward the direction of a place to eat. As he spoke Zerori would look down at the conjunction with an intrigued expression. He was so bold it made her question just how insulted or humbled she should have been that he wasn’t afraid of her. Looking up at his face as he walked, seeing just how excited he was about meeting her she had to wonder… who was he? How did he know about her? What attracted him to her? No, not a good time for that! Thinking like that would just push away a perfectly good excuse to eat for free with company that wasn’t a child – and she never passed up a good deal. - without good reason. She glanced at some of the people they passed and, feeling cheeky, the demon inside her couldn’t help the mischievous idea hat came. With her other hand free, Zerori would snap her fingers at few of the people they passed, creating sparks to shock and surprise them. There wasn’t any point to it aside from the satisfaction of their reactions – she wasn’t hard to please. Looking back at him to see if he was looking, she hid her hand when he glanced back at her with such a… silly, stupid – why was he grinning so much?! She snorted at his question, not expecting to ask what she ate. “It really isn’t but if you’re asking me what I prefer – any meat will do. The more cooked the better but rare isn’t so bad. Honestly,” She placed a hand at her chin, thinking critically, “I’d prefer they bring it raw so I cook it myself. I’m… not so trusting of a human’s culinary skill.” And it was true. Of the times she’d taken to trying the delicacies of their market cooking, it was either too spiced for her tasted or far too overcooked from them trying to acquiesce to her demands.

Nicolas cant his head to the side as he shifted his gaze to the demonic saiyan's. A strange mix of shock, curiosity and wonder seemed to filter past his eyes before he settled on another glowing smile. "I'm not certain if they'd do that b-but we could go by the store and I could whip somethi-" He paused, stopping completely as his smile faltered. For a moment it looked like something unpleasant had reared it's ugly head into his mind. It was probably some glum memory or (judging by the slight wince creasing on his lips) a nightmare*. He shook it off however and sort of forced an awkward laugh and a totally nonchalant scratch behind his head. "N-Nevermind, I don't think that'd be such a good idea" He said trying to regain his composure while also trying to hide the grim expression that sort of grew on his face. "I'm kind of a subpar cook and I'd hate for you to get sick from something I made after all..." He laughed nervously before realizing he was probably making himself look like a fool. He sighed shaking his head before looking at her. "I'm sorry, you must think I'm crazy, or all over the place or well...Both! But I promise I'm not... Normally, I'm a bit more composed than this..." He tried to explain, a light blush forming on his cheeks as he cast his gaze downward. "...I remember seeing you in the North Capital when you fought Realigner Red. It was a little hard to see but the glimpses I got caused my heart to flutter. I mean, you had this radiance about you that you formed into a blazing aura. Even in the heat of battle you had this grace about you that made it seem like you belonged more in heaven than on Earth." He described, recalling how his stomach did somersaults even back then. "So if it seems like I'm tripping over myself I guess it's because I didn't know if I'd have the courage to even speak with you much less ask you out. So if you could forgive me a bit that'd be great! I'll come into my own and get the hang of this the more the reality sets in." He spoke, his crimson flush remaining as he cracked a genuinely wide smile. He knew it probably seemed weird to speak so openly but honesty was typically the best policy. Other than his secret life, Nicolas tried to be upfront and open with his feelings. He just sincerely hoped he wasn't going to blow it. *Be sure to check out "Making Cookies!" Souls Faithful!

They stopped for a moment, likely for Nicolas to reassess a place for them eat, and it was with a curious narrow of her eyes that she noticed him immediately stop himself. He could cook? Zerori was interested in what he could cook but… at the sudden indecisiveness her curiosity was already piqued. I’ll bug him about it later, after dinner, She noted for later and just scoffed at his sudden humble attitude with his skill. “It can’t be all bad and please,” Zerori’s lips upturned on one side edgily, “-try not to insult me further.” She would chuckle before adding with a bit of softhearted humor, “If food poisoning could kill me, I’d have died many times over.” She neglected to tell him that she’d survived all attempts so far… Noticing how nervous he was, Zerori felt a little helpless in this situation as he apologized once more for his emotions. It was starting to get on her nerves but… he was weak so how angry could she get with him? She placed a hand on her hip and shook her head, “If confidence is the issue then just-” She paused, interrupted in favor of listening to him when the words ‘North Capitol’ were heard. He was there? Was he a survivor of the town? There was no way he could have seen her unless… Imagery of the entire city getting destroyed in the opaque incineration of Realigner Red’s attack came to the forefront of her mind and her face fell instantly. As he continued she could feel her mouth part open in surprise, unable to believe what he was admitting to her. ”I mean, you had this radiance about you that you formed into a blazing aura… you belonged more in heaven than on Earth."And she could only stare at him, lips moving as if she were trying to speak but words just didn’t escape. As he finished she would bring a hand to her mouth to cover it, looking off to the side as the very noticeable flush could be seen. It wasn’t that she was flattered by how revered he made her out to be… well, she was but more than that was a realization that he… He was dead before. This man whom held such a flame for her had died as she tried to destroy the machine that had killed him. And he remembered her enough to want to admit these things to her… An overwhelming sense of guilt rushed through her and she frowned, closing her eyes briefly to regain her composure before she looked back at him with her arms crossed tensely. After another moment passed she would give a deep sigh and reach an arm out to gently hold his chin. In her mind, she wasn’t sure what she could do to ease this human that had overcome his fear to speak to her but… maybe she could try? Holding his chin, she would try and playfully turn his head from side to side, shaking his head for him and give a very rare soft smirk, “You’re a special kind of idiot, aren’t you?” She leaned toward him, his usually tall stature shrunk enough in his nervousness to allow her to place a kiss at his cheek. It was a pretty awkward display of what she could only scarcely imagine was a sweet action but she was never really good with the wordy aspect of showing affection. Pulling back, she let his chin go to try to forcefully grab his arm and continue in any random direction toward a place to eat. With a laugh, she commanded him, “Find a place to feed me already!” She needed to get away from this revolting sentimentality before she would really hurt his confidence.

Nicolas' eyes widened as she pulled him in to place a sweet little kiss on his cheek. He could feel his heart hammering away in his chest as his breath stopped for a brief moment. Given the flush on the saiyaness' face he could tell that he had either scored some serious brownie points or made her so embarassed that she couldn't stand it. Of course, she did kiss him and smiled while calling him an idiot so he supposed that brownie points was probably the case in this scenario. She wouldn't be so sweet in any other case. Man he was really over thinking things, he tended to do that quite a bit. He did it ever since he was a little kid and OH MY GOD SHE KISSED HIM. The realization of what just happened finally sparked in his 'special kind of idiotic skull' and before he could properly react (in his case, 'properly reacting' equates to 'babble incoherently and stammer') he was whisked away by the gleeful hybrid. He could only nod to her as she demanded he take her to get something to eat. He shook off his love struck daze and smiled warmly while interlocking his fingers between hers taking her hand with confidence. "Ok...Right... Lets find somewhere to eat then!" He laughed before hurrying along, letting his memory and sense of smell be his guide. As the two ended up getting away from the apartment complexes and residential areas of the Capital and into the business sectors: the tantalizing smell of cooking food began to waft into the air while the gaudy neon signs advertising specials started to come into view. While there were a multitude of choices lined up for them a quaint little noodle stand came into view. "The Oni's Resting Place? I don't remember this stand being here before..." Nicolas remarked, curiosity slipping into his tone. He noted the wheels on the stand and concluded that it must have been a travelling stall of sorts which would explain his ignorance to it's presence. He glanced aside to Zerori before cracking a smile. "Seems like something like this could be casual but fun, I've never been personally but it might be worth checking out...What do you think?" He asked turning to see the Old Man Nostalgic Ayumu busily working behind the stall serving the one or two customers that were already there. "Seems pretty secluded and private as well..." He remarked noting the lack of patrons.

Looking outside, he had managed to hide his sight rather easily by the two people that have been eating at his location while simply cleaning up from their mess, he could feel his own excitement burning rather furiously, knowing this old place was shoddy and not really a place for any real romanticians he could not contain his laughter while being able to read their lips for what they had been saying. Yet feeling for this poor fellow, he started to stoke up the fire, throwing in a few herbs that had a rather interesting effect of soothening the entire atmosphere while bringing out honesty in a person, making people a bit more relaxed while his hands went to a table in the middle, placing a beautifull red cloth over the wooden table which had been finely carved from his own hands. The chairs being made entirely out of wood yet by the use of a little guy in the north who had mastered a rather interesting art of ki carving, he had found the talents incredible and asked him to perform a little trick on them, making them feel like a fucking throne, it was all for these interesting rascals that seemed to be attempting to make it happen tonight.
Softly mumbling to himself while starting to put a few recipes on the fire, the large stone plate that showed the preparations to customers was for once packed tightly in the numerious ingredients while he lit a mere candle on the middle of the red table while the entire area was densely packed with objects obtained in the past by some allies of him, from paintings of the far north to a large tiger licking its kittens on the floor, the soft meows being heard as their powerlevels were simply absurd as it asked for a small price to take one along.
People with even a light expierience in cooking would start to be able to pick out the numerious ingredients that were used here, not because of their clear distinctive smell but because of how fresh they were. The obvious diffrence in restaurants where they kept some ingredients with chemicals and additions to prolong their duration or increase their flavours it created a added artificial point that threw people off. Yet every single smell here was clean of that deprived addition as the amount of diffrent ingredients a normal cook without years of expierience would be unable to pick out were without count. Constantly switching the scent around before his voice would have finally started to speak up, after seeing them approuch softly.
"Welcome to the oni's resting place, i am simply unable to ask you guys of any money, but if you simply enjoy your meal and spread the word, that would fill this old man his heart with joy! Because this place accepts both evil and good at the same time, without any diffrence between them, so please enjoy your time"
Starting to work on the meal, hoping to get a order from them as the assortment of meat infront of you guys were a obvious trick to show you guys what was a good choice for this mere moment. Twelve variations of meat were visible there, each with their own thick, yet gentle scent flowing forwards. One was Dinosaur meat, it had a bit of a zing to it, letting you feel a sharp stab of flavour with every bite, Another was sheep, along with even cow, chicken and buffalo. Yet what was the most interesting one was a unknown one, laying there in the corner, as if to test if any of you guys had a sharp nose or a sense of a real cook, with this piece of meat that was once depicted as the northern mountain's gem stone. It grew within a large beastial creature known as the frost wyrm far in the north with its sweet smell hidden under the others, easily able to overwhelm its consumers with both the powerfull taste of the dragon itself, re-energizing a person along with the sweet embrace of its flesh that is like candy to our tongue, slowly melting. But reading the signs above, it was simply insane what was written there.
'Say a recipe and this old man will make it!'

That was close… Zerori thought with a relieved smile, letting Nicolas take the reigns of finding them a place to eat. When he interlocked their fingers, Zerori’s face flushed intensely at the overly affectionate contact. What is he-? I don’t like to-! Staring at their conjoined hands she could only helplessly follow him until he made a mention of a food stall. Looking up, she noted it’s design with various tools and ingredients set up. Curious about the stall, Zerori tilted her head and leaned over it to touch on of the hanging utensils. That was when a man come over, beckoning them with a warm-hearted smile that had the saiyaness returning it awkwardly. “Ah, i-is that really okay? I mean, I’m not paying, but…” She glanced over at Nicolas before swallowing and just smiling widely at the chef. “We’ll take it!” Let her confidence ease his wallet since he… seemed to have earned it, the dork. At the mention of the restaurant accepting both ‘good and evil’, Zerori felt the hairs on the back of her neck rise in slight indignation. Was that an intentional attack on me or is it my imagination? As a table was set, chairs pulled out and allowing them to be seated, she could feel her annoyance fading away to enjoy the unique air of the restaurant. The presentation before her was a delectable selection, ranging from some cuts of meat she’d kills and cooked herself before. One that caught her attention as she reached for the napkin to place it in her lap was an oddly colored one that seem purposefully separated from the others. The scent was sweet and of many sensation she enjoyed on her tongue – sweet was her shit. Tossing a grin at Nicolas she suggested firmly, “You’re not a vegetarian, are ya? Because… y’know we might have a problem.” She laughed before waved down the old man and pointed at the odd slice of meat. “This one. If it’s… a lot of money let me know, alright? I know but this looks rare.” Giving the chef a contemplative look, Zerori would glance at Nicolas ever so often before she raised her hands in surrender – eyes closed briefly. “Just as long as your offer still stands.” She gave the old man a wink, “Give me a bottle of your finest vodka and I’ll pay you back. That expense,” She gave Nic a pointed narrowed gaze, “-is not up for debate.” And oh, she dared him to speak against her. Maybe it would give him more brownie points, maybe she’d get annoyed with him. Not even she knew at this point, the entire ‘innocent dating scene’ a fresh take on her more carnal activities.

Nicolas raised a brow at the strange cook and his cryptic ramblings of good and evil and free food. He was a strange old coot and given by the tight lipped expression Zerori gave he began to question whether or not it was a good idea to stop by. She seemed to relax however, obviously the spread of food the crazy old man provided eased her mind. As she brought up the alcohol and practically challenged him by claiming that she'd pay for it Nicolas cut her a glance and raised his bro once again. "Hey now, if I'm not paying for this meal I can at the very least pay for our drinks." He put emphasis on the word 'our' in his attempt to toss his hat in the drinking game. Without another word, the young man would drop a credit card on the counter before the old man. "A vodka for the lovely lady and some whiskey for me, cinnamon or honey flavored if you've got it." He said before glancing aside to Zerori. He smiled sheepishly, shrugging his shoulders. "I kinda like my drinks strong and a little sweet." He admitted with a chuckle. If he was slick, he'd have added a 'like the lovely girl sitting beside me' but he knew full well that he'd stumble and screw it up.
"Also, you said you could make a few things for us right? Something meaty would be ideal for me!" He said placing his order with the stand owner. He looked down to the cuts of meat with curiosity, all dozen kinds looked perfectly cut and ready to be prepared. "Of these I'll take whatever is the best tasting and most filling." He turned his attention back to Zerori and grinned. "You don't have to worry about me being a vegetarian, if anything I'm a carnivore." He joked grinning wide. "I'm surprised I don't have fangs by this point!" He laughed pointing to his teeth.
"Anyway, lucky us that this guy is willing to cut us a break. Thanks again sir!" He said shooting the old man an overly enthusiastic thumbs up.
It really was his lucky day.

While at first realizing just how nice the atmosphere between them felt, he could not stop his kind smile, simply gazing towards the plate while starting to finely slice the meat that was not picked into thin ribbons while turning them over, a soft sizzling heard as the temperature was perfected, his internal feelings slowly being awakened by these kind fellows that have chosen this place to have a future for themselves made. He knew that he could have not gone with a mere second rate choice before reaching out to a small vault and speaking softly.
"RedBreast, 21 years old Whisky, Made of malted and unmalted barely in a traditional irish way, this single pot still whiskey will burst apart on your tongue with tropical fruits and oily, nutty, spicy notes, Yet drinkers have fallen to its seductive silky ways and it became too drinkable, we have a few bottles, so please enjoy yourself."
Placing down the bottle by the side of the table on the ground while having poured him a glass, before moving his hands towards placing down a glass for the lady, slowly pouring it in while a soft aroma of pears became apparant.
"Puriste Vodka, The spirit is made from premium wheat and fresh mountain spring water from the alps in the south east, using a six step distillation method, with a faint aroma of pears and honeysuckle with a clean tropical finish, i am certain this will be to your taste"
Also placing the bottle in short reach for her too, Knowing that having to constantly interrupt their mood by grabbing a glass and moving back would be something rather annoying for them too, manipulating the energies within the air to slowly levitate the bottles when one were to finish their drink and pour them a new one before turning his focus towards the cooking stones, the prices of these drinks obvious known to be something around the hundreds. Yet the attitude he had given was of a mere kind person giving them away for free before starting to decorate the plates of their offers. Knowing that he had not a single moment of attempting to ruin it, he started up a boiling pan and took a few ingredients from the back, slowly formulating a colour coded dish of pasta while precisely placing it down on the plate before starting to finely slice the pieces of meat that were usually placed on the side, starting to decorate the bottom of the dish first in a lotus pattern, if they would have consumed the pattern they would see a interlinking weaved lotus figure represented in the slabs of meat decorating the bottom. Yet what was more interesting was how the meat slowly made its way upwards, to the bottom of the dish as he had mimicked Nicholas his facial details onto the colour coded pasta, a mirrored image of his while the meat in its blackish colour to give a extra spice formed the collar of a suit that he was supposedly wearing. Although for Zerori, it was a more gentle appearance depicted in the colour coded pasta, the meat forming a lotus flower in the top with the soft scent of apples and other flora rising from the dish as it was her exact image, that pride yet acceptance depicted on it, with a certain grace as the flower was located in the hair just above the ear. Finding himself satisfied with these rather large dishes, as he used to serve for saiyans he brought them over, giving a kind smile while performing a bow towards them.
"Thank you for tasting my food, truely thank you"
Were his only words, as he remained silent for the most of the time, slowly using his expierience to thin out his atmosphere as he knew that he would only intterupt these two in their business, but for the flavours of the dish was something unlike a normal meal. The meat would have a mighty zing to it as the soft mellow after taste of sweetness would embrace your tastebuds, as a waft of sunshine in this luke warm area, softly melting on your tongue as Ayumu had a strange obsession with cooking his meat to perfection to the point it simply melted. Yet the moment it had fully been chewed through, a droplet of flavour could escape from a mere single piece of meat as a tsunami of sweetness, the quality of this meat revealing itself in the mere fact of the single droplet of juice in the meat capable to bring out such a massive blast of sweetness. The cost of such meat, even attaining it would be something you would have to do on your own, yet the scales in the back revealed all that had to be known as you guys were consuming something akin to enough zenni to win a lottery. Yet he still gave this meal as a freebie towards you guys, believing in the future you two have together to make this night unforgettable. Slowly starting to clean his tools and plate, using a silent method of cleaning while keeping a eye out to refill drinks, he had already begun to make a dessert, for if they felt satisfied after this meal, although this offered him more of a challenge. Pondering over his options and what to truely pick for this recipe, knowing that the recipe he had placed down would have been both spicy and sweet already to interchange he had to pull something truely perfect out of his hat.

Zerori couldn’t help the grin that spread across her face when Nicolas took the initiative and ordered for both of them. Vodka was her best friend but… whiskey? In her mind she would pretend to fan herself, I’m gonna need to jump into a lake if this keeps up/ She would merely hold up both hands in mock surrender before speaking, “Don’t say I didn’t warn you about the price!” With a chuckle, she allowed her date to pick the drinks and waited for the elderly chef to present them with a surprise. Earth had many kinds of delicacies and alcohol was no exception to the rule on this planet. To try something new in a… fresh situation had her almost never wanting this night to end! When the old man had returned, two bottles of a completely different coloring and brand, she felt as if her mouth was already salivating and licked her fangs appreciatively. Remembering Nicolas’s remark, she winked at him, “You want fangs, eh? Well, I could show you a thing or two about their other unique applications.” Whatever his reaction, she was sure to delighted and returned her attention to the bottles as they were presented with a smirk. Nic’s was first, a very strong bountiful scent on the winds once it was opened. So enraptured in it, Zerori felt her lips parting slightly to taste it on her tongue like a feline. And when her choice came up she stared at the glass it was being pour in and tilted her head at the scent of citrus sweetness that met her senses. He’s… fantastic. She mentally praised the chef and picked up the glass, leaning towards it to get an even stronger whiff of the alcohol. It wasn’t too strong but also not a wimpilly watered down either… Tasting it came next and as she let a little trickle down her throat, she would nearly choke on how amazingly sweet it tasted. Placing her glass back on the table, she pounded her chest a bit with an embarrassed smile as she coughed, “Oh… COFF, boy that’s really-COFF! Really good!” She gestured for Nic to try his as she calmed her poor throat. Wasn’t expecting that, and I’m a hard drinker… When came time for the food to arrive, the saiyaness tilted her head curiously at what was before her. It was a depiction of her, but… more refined? She didn’t quite know what to think of it but the bowl was immensely huge and she had to thank him for that. Offering a nod of appreciation, she looked to Nicolas before giving him a wide toothy grin, “C’mon, eat! I want to see what this tastes like! If it’s anything like me it’s sure to taste amazing,” Another rabid sexual innuendo – she didn’t know how to stop, really! Taking the utensil, a pair of chopsticks that Zerori had never seen before, she immediately stabbed the meat with the wood stick and tried to lift it up in her mouth. When it slipped off and back on to the bowl, she paused there for a moment in confusion with the stick halfway to her mouth before she frowned, “What…?” Looking at the other stick, her face was a mask of uncertainty. “…How do I use these?” When it seemed one or the other was about to help her, she just grimaced and a held a hand up, “W-Wait! Wait, lemme just…” Her brain was working in overtime to put together a myriad of ways for her to use these properly. They were there to pick up food, after all so she needed to actually pick it up. Holding them both in one hand, she glanced between the two before finally deciding what was best… With a massive stab into the plate, both hands holding both sticks, she brought up the piece of meat to her mouth and took a mighty bite out of it… Effectively ruining the beautiful design with her savagery. Mouth full, she looked to Nic with a bright expression, “Hhey, Dhig ehn!”
