(Alright. Koldar is in his most suppressed form, for those of you wondering.)
Koldar had his men land the Frostar, a large ship that they served the Arcosian Empire with for many long years, on the cool colored surface of the Aoi Brenchia, their sensors picking a few notably stronger sources of power on the blue planet from their region. As the ship entered the atmosphere of the planet, Koldar tapped his scouter a few times until his vice capatain's name came up. The vice captain was elsewhere in the ship, doing one of several deck checks, to see if there had been anyone on board or not. It was a rule Koldar instated, so that they wouldn't have any sort of surprise attack on board. The captain tapped a green button, tapping him into the vice captain's own scouter.
"Greple, when we get to the surface, I will be needing you to take command of the Frostar and our soldiers for some time. There are some things I must do here that aren't going to be pretty, and in case if I'm found dead because of this, you are going to be Captain. Is this understood?"
"Sir," Greple responded quickly, "That is understood, but I must ask what is your mission?"
"It's going to be the work I mentioned when we found out Arcose and the Queen were slain. We need to gather forces to re-establish the Arcosian Empire, so it doesn't topple over again," Koldar explained, "The sources of said forces are gonna be unsavory to work with at first..."
"But Capta-"
"Are you back talking your superior?"
"Damn right I am," Greple shouted, "How do you figure this is going to work?"
"Greple, this is why I'm putting you in charge instead of the other one... What's his name... Ah forget that! What I'm going to be doing is dangerous. Whether you choose to announce this order I've given you or not to the crew is up to you... We're landing on the surface now. Am I going to regret my decision, Vice Captain?"
"... No sir."
Koldar sighed in relief, responding, "Good... I'm off now."
The entire ship shook for some time, as Koldar shifted off the deck. He tapped the broadcast setting to the Vice Captain to being a world wide broadcast to the planet. His voice was stern as always, as he quickly exited the round ship, "This is Captain Koldar Frost, of the Arcosian Empire. If you are receiving this broadcast, I am looking to recruit soldiers to serve the Empire. You have most likely heard that the Queen, or as some of you call, Empress and Arcose itself has fallen. This is true, but we are not all dead... If you are interested in this offer and can trace my power level, I will be in a small town near the Northwestern Tundra."
Captain Koldar was going to a small town he'd been to several times in the past. They had good taste, when it came to drinks and Earth-based cuisine. During the time of the treaty, the mayor and council of the town had visited Earth about 30 years ago, to see what all the talk was about this place in what their citizens called Satan-land. After the visit, they renovated their town overnight and built several pubs. They'd pay gallons of ale in these enormous, floating spheres that looked like a blue star, despite it being just a very intricate container with a tap on it! They also had acquired stouts and recipes, which they had some chef on the planet conceive of Brenchian versions of, to replicate the taste and be edible to the Brenchian people!
The captain made landfall in this Earthen-ized town in the matter of minutes, and with arms behind his back, made his way into the closest bar. A couple of people ran out of the bar, despite Koldar alerting everyone in the bar he was simply needing assistance for the cause. The bar tender there acknowledged this and proceeded to carry out business as usual. The Captain proceed to take a seat in vacant corner, with a velvet stout in a hefty glass stein at hand. There'd be people arriving, yes, but Koldar was looking to meet these stronger people that his ships had picked up on. The question was would they show up?

Abzerute was going over his form, allowing his body to recover naturally from the gravity training he'd underwent with the human Beryl Roarke when the transmission came over on his Scouter. "This is Captain Koldar Frost, of the Arcosian Empire. If you are receiving this broadcast, I am looking to recruit soldiers to serve the Empire. You have most likely heard that the Queen, or as some of you call, Empress and Arcose itself has fallen. This is true, but we are not all dead... If you are interested in this offer and can trace my power level, I will be in a small town near the Northwestern Tundra." He raised an eyeridge at the man's suggestion. "Serve the Empire he says... under who's authority I wonder? His?" the bronze Arcosian chuckled before shrugging and standing to his feet. "Well, not like I had much else to do today." he mused as he took flight, his Scouter tracking down the Captain's power level. "Four thousand, eight hundred and fifty six..." he said before scoffing. True his own power level was three thousand, five hundred and sixty one, but the Gravity Training he'd undertaken earlier had not yet taken full effect, so there was no true way of knowing how much stronger he'd become as of yet. No, what he found scoffable, was that someone with a power level only just higher than his own was possibly making their own power play for control of the Empire. He wrinkled his nose in distaste at the venue for this little meeting. Whilst he was content to using a human for their Gravity Chamber and as a sparring partner, he held no interest in experiencing their... culture. The fact that such a place existed irked him, especially since it could also mean that a Saiyan Outpost of a similar design could also be here, in theory. For now though, he had a Koldar Frost to locate and meet with. He landed and tapped his Scouter, scanning around the buildings before he located the one with the Captain inside... a human style bar. The bronze Arcosian rolled his eyes before he made his way inside, his Scouter directing him to the Arcosian in question. He gave a light cough to indicate his presence. "These seats taken?" he inquired of the older Arcosian, before sitting himself down in one. He waved away the bartender, as he had no wish to partake of any alcohol for the time being. "I'm here for curiosity's sake, nothing more. My name is Abzerute, and I think I'll hold my questions until a few more have arrived. Wouldn't want you to wind up repeating yourself." said Abzerute.

(Lets not have this halt too much, so we can get an understanding of what's going on.)
Someone was being picked up on Koldar's scouter and approaching his location quick. This probably meant the person had a scouter of some sort, which was good for the old captain! This meant he could contact this person, should they be interested in what Koldar had in mind! Though, then again... It could be someone who worked for the SSE. So the old Arcosian would have to be cautious with his words or whom he'd bring to the table.
The Arcosian took a big gulp from the stout, foam forming on his upper lip. He wiped it with his free hand and licked it off his pointer finger. He'd rather not let a decent drink go to waste on his hand. He noticed someone had made their way in and scoffed to let them know they were there. The old man looked at him, putting the stout on the table with a thud, gesturing to his free hand, "Have a seat. Plenty of room about!"
Abzerute was his name. A bronze and green colored Arcosian, a scheme of which Koldar hadn't seen a lot of. Probably a rare breed of their kind. The old Frost leaned back in the booth, crossing his left foot over his right knee with his right hand resting on top of the booth. He grabbed the stout in front of him and told the man, "Questions indeed to be asked at a later time, mmm..? To be frank, though, I seek men with a good head on their shoulders that understand the reasons behind whatever crap-shoot I send them into. So, ask away, boy."
The captain didn't take another drink, but his left hand rested right on the handle, if firmness could be described as such.

This old soldier certainly had a... unique view on what could be considered a later time, and he seemed content to just let Abzerute question him rather than sit and hear whatever speech he had prepared. The bronze Arcosian gave a slight sigh before he spoke. "I'll cut straight to the point then. Given the state of our Empire's remains, can I assume that you are intending for this to be your own little power play? Take over where the Queen left off as it were?" he asked rather bluntly. "Why else would someone be out here trying to recruit soldiers?" he asked of the old captain.
"Personally I am not currently interested in joining any military force. I'm busy with my own endeavours, primarily locating the source of the biological weapon the Saiyans used on Arcose." said Abzerute, allowing himself a smirk at his project. "I've already made some headway in that regard, and it will only be a matter of time before I have a full understanding of the organism, in particular how to eradicate it in case the Saiyans decide to use it again on any of our other worlds." he informed the Captain, giving him time to digest this information.
"Even if this weren't a power play, and you're doing this from the goodness of your heart to see our people united," said the bronze Arcosian, "whom would you follow the orders of? Last I heard there was no leader figure since the Queen's demise on Arcose. No doubt there are some of our kind out there that are quite possibly far stronger than you or I, and I doubt they would take this gathering of yours very well, unless you fell to your knees before them in supplication." Abzerute theorised, his tail flicking absent-mindedly as he spoke.

Koldar listened to what Abzerute had to say, but the Arcosian repeatedly brought up one thing: A power play for the throne. To that, the old man proceeded to ask, rhetorically, "So you basically only have two questions, correct?"
He took another swig of his drink, letting out a relaxing gasp. Putting the stein down, and again, wiping and lapping up the foam from his lips, the Koldar proceeded to give Abzerute that expressed his followed up sarcastic response, "I supposed you'd like to know how to figure out what makes up a black hole while you're at it!"
He laughed a bit, as he repositioned his feet flat on the ground beneath, hands moving and clasping one another as he leaned in. The old Captain then, in a noticeably peeved tone, whispered loudly to Abzerute, "I have fought for the Empire for many long years, youngster, and in that time, I've had no damn need to take the throne. If I wanted to, I would have marched in there so many ages ago and shoved all the rulers and subsidiaries to the side! Power play for the throne? That is what led to the old Empire's downfall in first place!"
Koldar leaned back, chugging the rest of the quart of stout in one go, before slamming it on the table and releasing a loud belch! The feeling stung his insides a bit, but nothing serious. He wiped his mouth one more time, before stating, "The Queen... Or whatever title that wench went by, failed to lead our empire in the end. The orders I take are my own, until we can settle in a order to lead with. Frankly, what's bothersome I've seen these days is the lack of pride in the youngsters' eyes of their world and the people that spend their lives to defend it... And, that tree you mentioned," Koldar pointed out, his voice getting slightly louder, "Its entire trace is going to be wiped off the face of existence, the moment it rears its sodding ass up!"

The bronze Arcosian sighed, somewhat exasperated by the military Arcosian's comment about black holes, and then his commentary concerning the throne of Arcosia. "Except," said Abzerute once the man had finished his tirade, "that you may not have a choice in the matter. At least not in the views of the general public." he said succintly.
"You're a military officer, recently arrived here with a global transmission asking for soliders to serve the Empire. At this moment in time, for all intents and purposes, you appear to be the one in charge, or at least the one seeming to take charge." Abzerute surmised, laying out the gist of the situation as it appeared to him.
"We both know that that is not what you seek, but that is how some will take it. Especially if those some are SSE spies. Word reaches Vegeta of an Arcosian with a long military history, forming an army in the wake of the Queen's demise and with the Saiyan invasion of Earth taking most of their forces there... it may plant theories in their heads." suggested the bronze Arcosian, lining up the dots and slowly connecting them for the older Arcosian. "And we all know what Saiyans can be like when they get paranoid. Or at the very least guess." he said, finishing the train of thought.
Abzerute looked around the bar they were sitting in and scoffed. "Can you blame many of those you've seen for having a lack of pride in Arcose? Take a look around you. Earth society has reared its sorry head all over our worlds. Hell, the Queen when she was around went off to Earth more often than she stayed on Arcose. What is our people's history compared to the joys of Earth entertainment and delicacies?" said the bronze Arcosian with a sigh.
"At least we can agree on the Tree front. I've been trying to locate how the damned Saiyan bitch found out about it in the first place, but haven't found a single nugget of a clue. The source I used to make most of my headway in my research doesn't know how the Saiyans discovered it either." Abzerute grumbled. "This damned "Tree Of Might" as the Saiyans are calling it... it's something that should stand out, but there are no records of it, least not here."

"Indeed," Koldar responded to the grumbling compatriot across his way, "She had spent way too much time on Earth, and indeed, that tree's destruction is to be met. Where it is from, don't care about... As for that comment, about me being a leader... Well, that's the plan."
Koldar waved over to the bar keep as he paused with his stein. He placed it on the table, before putting his attention back to Abzerute, "Though it's here, the Earth had actually been a very useful ally, friend even I can personally say. Granted, the treaty has been practically ripped apart by the SSE attacking us, our alliance and friendship with the Earth's forces is most useful for us in the end, but that's a different discussion altogether. Back to the point about, 'Spies,' and allies to the SSE watching us... I rightfully don't give a damn, even if they attack us in broad day light. The fools are in AE territory, and the moment they act against me and whomever joins, their heads will be on the pikes on display in my training camp... You mention that you want to get rid of the Tree as well, yes? If you were to join my forces, you'd be acquiring more supplies and contacts to help deal with the blasted thing. Even if it were not directly joining my forces, it'd most certainly allow for a mutual benefit to be had."

The bronze Arcosian raised a brow at the Captain's comment. "Don't care where its from? A little short sighted I think." he replied. "Consider... even if we destroy the Tree on Arcose... what's to stop the Saiyans from simply planting another one on any other world we hold? Or another, or another, or another?" he asked of Koldar. "If you want to be rid of a weed, you don't merely remove the part that's above the soil... you remove it from its roots so it can never grow again." Abzerute said with a shrug.
He listened to the Captain's long speech before grimacing. "Given how the SSE decimated Kanassa with a single Android and one of their supposed many Super Saiyans... I don't think it would be that easy to fend them off should they choose to strike us again soon, especially not with the condition the Arcosian Empire is in right now." he said, before tapping his Scouter. "And especially not with our current power levels, True Forms notwithstanding." he said before sighing.
"There's also what sort of state Earth will be in itself once the Saiyans are done waging their war on it. One thing is certain, that for the time being it appears that the SSE will be the dominant galactic force for the foreseeable future." he surmised, clearly not happy with this turn of affairs. "Personally, I wouldn't advertise quite so loudly my intentions. If I were to wish to create a united military force, I would do it quietly, let it appear on the surface that we're broken, but in truth we're gathering our strength and recuperating." said the bronze Arcosian before he shrugged. "But of course I'm not a military man, so take that what you will."
He looked at Koldar properly now though for a moment. "But I'll take your offer into consideration. My goals are simple enough to express. Locate the source of the Tree and then take appropriate action is one of them. The other... assuming the bitch survives her war on Earth, make the Saiyan bitch's pelt into my new rug. A sentiment I'm sure many Arcosians, and by now Earthlings, would be sympathetic towards."

"That is good to hear," Koldar laughed, gladly taking another pint of the drink brought to him, You are also indeed correct. Being loud at this current time probably wouldn't be best. Yet, I look for warriors with the ability to fight and win their battles with great strength."
This was good. He had one person somewhat on board with him! The barkeep coughed, not having shifted. Koldar looked up and handed him a few crumpled up zeni that he had on him. The man took it and made their way back over to the bar with a smile. Koldar, meanwhile, redirected his attention back to Abzerute, proceeding to ask him, "Now, I must admit. I've slacked off a lot training in the forces, having to deal with pirates most of my career. However, this is the time where I needn't be fighting pirates, but rather be trying to establish an agreement with them and regaining some of my lost strength over the years. Not to mention, the sensors on my ship had been picking up several signatures on this planet with some decent power... In other words, I'm looking to bring those strong powers out. And so far, it's working."
Koldar held his new stine up, and uttered before taking a gulp, "Cheers, friend."

The bronze Arcosian rolled his shoulders as the Captain laughed and spoke. He shrugged at the comment about several strong signatures on this planet. "Well I do know one individual on this world who has... admittedly a high level of power. But I doubt they'd wish to join an Arcosian Military, partially from a racial stand point." said Abzerute as he leaned back in his chair. "A human scientist by the name of Beryl Roarke . I've had one sparring session with the man myself already in his Gravity Chamber on his ship. He has potential as a warrior, but is... peculiar in his fighting style compared to what I know of for most humans." the bronze Arcosian surmised. "He doesn't utilise his legs except to move around, has no intention of utilising his Ki energy to either infuse his body or fire a shot... something he's called "boxing" appears to be his main focus." Abzerute informed the Captain with a bewildered shrug. "I'm not certain how much combat experience he possesses either." he said, his tail flicking from side to side. He ignored the look the bartender was shooting him for staying so long and not ordering anything. He did not feel like partaking of anything the humans had to offer... if anything, it was their influence over Queen Wyntre that caused this whole debacle in the first place. As for training... perhaps he could get something out of this little arrangement... "At the moment I am trying to secure enough of my own accounts to obtain the necessary elements to pursue a proper training regimen. Recently put in an order for some weighted armour, and am now waiting to arrange things to acquire my own Gravity Chamber so I am not having to rely on the human's I mentioned earlier." said the bronze Arcosian, planting the seed of suggestion into the Captains mind. If he could obtain his own ship with its own Gravity Chamber, then he could ensure an ample supply of training partners from this Captain. He'd get his soldiers stronger, whilst Abzerute could test his techniques on them. Live subjects gave better responses than dummy targets after all. And if possible... with his own ship, he could perhaps lure some of the Captain's forces to serve him instead. Not all who joined the military these days have their hearts and minds set to staying with it... and dealing with the Brenchian Banks was growing quite tiresome for the bronze Arcosian. With the current situation, it should prove simple enough to... waylay a few random vessels and, procure their cargo for his own ends.

(Getting right to it! Just a note: You may want to write down Beryl's name in the sentence instead of tagging him like that. You never know if he'll end up changing his display name! My apologies on the short post, btw.)
Boxing? This Beryl Roarke Abzerute mentioned sounded like an intriguing combatant! The youngster, though, really didn't seem to give the Earthlings credit for their ability, and unfortunately, the entire Empire didn't even account for crediting the SSE until they practically ate the planet up. Koldar laughed again, directed at the Arcosian's bewilderment!
"Boxing, eh? It's an Earthling fighting style that is actually a highly watched sport on their planet that they've been spreading across the galaxy. I've dabbled a little bit myself, back in my younger years. It actually got me to where I am today," Koldar stated, reminiscing the days that lead him to being known as, 'The Ice Breaker.' He giggled at one memory, where he and his squad were in the after hours with several other squads, fighting in a little pit ring with Ki restraints on their hands! They'd have to fight with only fists, feet, tails, and teeth as they'd try to knock out the other person or force their surrender. Good times, they were!
The youngster mentioned ordering weights and a gravity chamber, so he'd not have to worry about spending the time over at the Human's place. Koldar responded, "Now hang on. What's this about trying to distance yourself from the Human? It sounds like he'd be really useful for conquering! Does he owe allegiance to someone, or is he a reclusive sort of human? If what you say is true, about him being a scientist and a boxer, then it's even more reasonable to bring this man into this force I'm constructing!"

(Figured I'd try tagging him to see if he wanted to poke in here ) The bronze Arcosian raised a brow at the idea of fighting being a highly watched sport, but then again humans were a strange species to him to say the least. Although he could see where the appeal was in terms of competitions and such, determining who was the more skilled combatant. He gave a disgruntled sigh at the Captain's question concerning his desire to distance himself from the human. "I dislike having to rely on him for his equipment to conduct my training regimen." grumbled Abzerute. "Coupled with the fact that he has to lower his power level so that we're on an equal footing in our sparring..." he grumbled, clearly ill at ease with that poignant fact. He sighed before continuing. "I do not know if he owes allegiances to anyone. I do not believe so however." he said before tapping on his Scouter, a small burst of data ready to transfer preparing itself. "I can give you his ships communication frequency if you want, so you could speak to him yourself." he offered. Contained within the burst would also be the last recorded power level of Beryl Roarke, which was just over sixty thousand last time they had met. Who knows though what it had reached at this point... the bronze Arcosian hated not knowing things such as that... it was truly an annoyance, especially when it came to conversations such as this one he was partaking in right now.

Post by Beryl Roarke on Oct 25, 2015 3:33:13 GMT
For the past few days, Beryl had been balancing his time between browsing spacecrafts, discussing with numerous engineers about potential spacecraft modifications and upgrades, training, studying and recreation. The spar with Abzerute was still fresh on his mind, and the bronze Arcosian’s abilities both intrigued and frightened Beryl. Telekinesis was something that he knew existed, but he never had it used on him. It was an alien and unwelcome feeling to be manipulated by telekinetic power, and Beryl immediately started to research and devise ways in order to combat fighters with telekinetic abilities. Willpower and physical strength seemed to be the most direct counters; telekinesis wasn’t a failproof ability, and while it allowed the user to control others without directly touching them, it left the user relatively defenseless. Beryl couldn’t use telekinesis, nor did he want to learn, and he wasn’t particularly talented with molding ki into energy blasts, beams, discs, blades or any sort of projectile. However, he learned that he didn’t need any of those things to be a capable fighter. Ever since the spar, Beryl had been training non-stop under intense gravity, and the constant pressure and stress had broken and repaired his mind and body several times. Now, he felt stronger than before, and he even made a groundbreaking discovery about his unique fighting style: he could make his punches even more destructive and bone-shattering than before. Beryl was poised to head back to training after eating lunch, but instead he figured it was best if he actually took some time to relax. After all, Aoi Brenchia was Beryl’s “home” for now; it was best if he made himself comfortable. However, being the lost human he was, Beryl inadvertently wandered into some kind of bar. Bars weren’t something that Beryl ever visited; he didn’t drink alcohol, and he certainly didn’t like dealing with drunken strangers. Plus, the bars he littered Earth’s cities were often shady, and they attracted the sort of folk no one wanted to be around. The bar he had stumbled upon reminded him of the ones back on Earth, except that this one was rather empty. It was strange. Normally, bars were packed full of people but not this one. Once Beryl’s Ki Sense kicked in, the young male had an inkling why that was the case. Abzerute was here, and he wasn’t alone either. Carefully, Beryl made a beeline towards the two Arcosians sitting by themselves in the corner. The dark-skinned human stopped a few feet away, stared at the two before speaking up. “Hey, Abzerute,” Beryl greeted. “I … didn’t expect to see you here.” It was somewhat of a lie, since Beryl could sense Abzerute’s ki, but he honestly didn’t think that the Arcosian would be relaxing in a bar of all places. Beryl was in his usual style of clothing, this time wearing a simple short sleeved shirt, pants, tennis shoes, a beanie and a stylish pair of shades. Dark eyes still masked by his sunglasses, Beryl turned his head and peered at Koldar, noting his interesting color scheme. “Is he a friend of yours?” he asked Abzerute, hand reaching up to brush at his green Capsule Corporation t-shirt. “Oh yeah, how have you been by the way?” Abzerute Koldar Frost

Abzerute proceeded to explain he simply wanted to not have to rely on an Earthling's machines and as a partner in sparring, the Earthling having to bring his strength down to Abzerute's level in their training. Koldar tapped the backrest his arm was resting on, as he took another swig of the beer. He exclaimed, "Mm... So the matter is wanting to feel on equal ground? In which case, that should be-"
Koldar's scouter quickly picked up on something, and it was strong... Stronger than his full strength! The power ranged in between the 70 thousands and 80 thousands! It made its way right to where Koldar and Abzerute were, which quickly adhered quick eyes to look in its direction. A dark skinned man, branding himself with a Capsule Corporation shirt and skin color that matched some of the mutant humans across the stars. He made his way over to Koldar and Abzerute, the captain maintaining his composure as the man approached their table. He quickly acknowledged the Bronze Arcosian as if he knew him. Was this man that boxer Abzerute spoke of?
He quivered at trying to say he wasn't expecting him there... But, to someone like Koldar, who had loads of time to figure people out in his lifetime, could tell that the man knew Abzerute was here. It proved to Koldar that he was indeed the man Abzerute spoke of. In quick response, Koldar stood up and greeted, "You must be the Earthling that Abzerute spoke of. Now things make sense... Wait, where are my manners? I am Captain Koldar Frost of one of the many legions of the Arcosian Empire. You are Beryl Roarke, yes?"

Abzerute's Scouter blinked at the same time as Koldar's did, causing the bronze Arcosian to grimace slightly at the sharp increase in power. The human was feeling the effects already of their earlier training, and here he was still stuck meandering along at his current state! At Beryl's words, he gave a shrug. "Nor was I, but when a Captain of a military force puts out a global transmission, one tends to seek out the source to investigate." he replied, allowing Koldar a moment to recover himself from the sheer power level of the dark skinned human and perform his own greetings.
The bronze Arcosian shrugged once more at the human's questions. "I have yet to decide if he's a friend. Since this is the first time I've ever met him, it's a little hasty to jump to such a conclusion." said Abzerute. "Captain Koldar is here to try and gather up recruits for his forces, and I mentioned you as being a potential candidate for his budding army." he said, deciding to get some measure of entertainment from this meeting. If only from watching these two stumble over each other and their words.
