Nai-Ran gave an impressed whistle at the mention of 50 foot taller beings. ”They grow that tall if you go deep enough into the jungle? That’s quite impressive,” she commented. ”Still, as much as I dislike the thought, if they truly wish to persist then perhaps it would be for the best that they find out about these dangers on their own. Sometimes that’s the best way to teach someone to keep their noses away from the places it doesn’t belong.” The young woman didn’t really like the idea of allowing someone to wander into harm’s way due to ignorance. However, she got the feeling from the way Houri spoke about it that this had been a recurring problem for a while.
”Speaking of adventures, I’ll likely be departing from my cave on one of my own sometime in the near future,” Nai-Ran spoke again, trying to change the subject. ”You see, the reason I’m on Earth to begin with is because I’m supposed to be undertaking something my people call the ‘Ritual of Discovery’. Personally I think that little tradition of ours is a bit outdated. It was mostly used back when a decent chunk of Appodorra hadn’t been explored yet. A Ryashi on the verge of reaching adulthood would venture out into the unknown and prove they could survive for a few years on their own, often bringing back something useful that they found when they returned. It’s a little baffling that some began undertaking the ‘Ritual of Discovery’ once space travel became a common thing.”
No matter how hard she tried to wrap her mind around it, she couldn’t see how this little journey of her’s was supposed to make her a more suitable candidate to take over being in charge of the Rujju Sands once her father decided to step down. She guessed that she would simply have to continue to trust her father’s judgment on this one. Who knew, perhaps her lack of understanding about the matter was part of it. Only thing to do was roll with it for the time being. ”My apologies for my long windedness. The entire reason I agreed to go through with this tradition was due to my father’s wishes; he’s been delightfully vague about what it is he expects me to accomplish while I’m here. I suppose I just needed someone to talk to about it since back home you’re just supposed to accept it without question.”
As she continued to walk with Houri, the stream they had been following had expended into a large pool. A waterfall cascaded into said pool from a large, rocky, cliff face that towered high above the both of them and blocked off their path. Thanks to the force from the waterfall hitting to pool, the water looked like it had a rather violent current to it that formed some sort of vortex in the center. Ryashi weren’t all that great at swimming, so Nai-Ran had absolutely no wish to get anywhere near it.
Crimson eyes focused on the blue rocks that the Florian had pointed out that could be used as foot holds. Nai-Ran briefly glanced down at her tail and let out a small chuckle. As much as she preferred her tail over the idea of having legs, they were far more slender and could more easily be placed properly for climbing. ”I suppose I would make it up eventually, but you would have a distinct advantage over me when using these ‘foot holds’ of yours. Besides, I’m not sure I would want to risk falling into the water. I may not make it back out,” she explained with a shrug of her shoulders. ”If it’s all the same to you, I think Plan A should be trying to call out to your friend.”

Holly nodded and listened intently to Nai-Ran. There was a pleasant sense in her voice which she felt really helped their friendship, however, there was going to be a few things she would need to correct about the regurgitated information the snake girl stated once she got the chance. For the Florians did grow fifty feet tall, but only as a defense mechanism. It was a higher form of power brought on by the wonders of ki studied in books like Ground Breaking Science which she had never read. It might make one wonder therefore how she learned to use ki, but the answer to that would be rather simple. Trial and error was Holly's friend and very often her trials to use this wonderful power ended up being rather disastrous. Luckily for her, she found that being a half-alien helped a little.
When they reached the stream that Holly pointed out for her she smiled at Nai-Ran and said, "If you really want to meet them then you better stop back. Plan A might not be such a good idea since her great size might crush us both if she's transformed to the kind of heights I know my little Calla Lily to reach." She held her right arm out in front of Nai-Ran to indicate for her to stay behind her then she took three steps towards the waterfall's gurgling, frothing pool, cupped her hands over her mouth, and looked up.
"CALLA!!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. She screamed the name again but all she could hear around her was the sound of roaring water. Suddenly, there was a rumbling noise.
POP!
Water droplets rained down from the sky and a round, dark shadow covered the sun just over the falls. A large, green eye about ten feet tall covered in mossy, green bangs that were five feet long drooped down over the top of the fall and completely stifled the water flow leaving only a trickle to fall into the lake below. A dark skinned arm reached over a boulder at the top of the falls and wrapped around it like a giant snake before a large cave filled with hard pearly stones opened up and let out a whoosh of air.
Holly looked back at Nai-Ran and uttered, "Seriously, get back now, if you see the giant thing moving at the top of the waterfall. Pay no attention to it... That's Calla... and she's-she's one hundred percent asleep. Just-Just run if I tell you to because she's about to fall, probably."
No sooner had she said this the lumbering body of a giant girl bare-foot, nearly fifty long, and wearing a matching white dress to Holly's rolled over the side of the fall and dropped down the half mile fall with the speed of jet plane. Holly quickly raised her her arms, forming an X-shaped block over her face. She had no idea what Nai-Ran was going to do, however, there was nothing much she could do for Calla hit the water forcing the lake's pool to surge up in a giant geyser. Rain fell from the sky, but this was not your average rain. This rain had enough water in it to knock you down in a single blow, enough water to drown you if you opened your mouth too long to breathe.
Damn you Calla! Holly thought as she turned back to face the water and her friend's accident with her mouth closed. She was certain they'd be knocked back into the jungle thanks to her pal's lovely grace. She had been told multiple times not to sleep at the waterfall by other Florians while on guard duty, but here she was making a big splash like usual.

Nai-Ran sat back and observed as Houri called out to her friend a couple of times. She was met with silence at first, which made the Ryashi worry that she would have to climb the rocky wall after all. It wasn’t an impossible task for her. It would merely take her a while since she would be relying on her arms alone. Her tail was pretty much dead weight in such a situation. However, the silence was soon broken by an ominous sounding rumble. This was followed by some sort of popping sound, as well as a barrage of water droplets falling upon the both of them from above.
“Augh!” a startled Nai-Ran cried out. She could feel her muscles stiffened and felt skin break out into goosebumps after being lightly doused. The sensation of the cold water pelting her skin made her cringe. This was just perfect... The serpentine lass knew that this would make her trip back to her cave fairly miserable. It was getting dark, so it would likely take her a while to dry out.
As if that weren’t enough, Houri turned and gave her a warning of what was to come. Nai-Ran’s gaze darted upwards to see the colossal Florian sleeping atop the cliff. Her eyes grew wide in shock. While her friend had just gotten through warning her about this exact thing, she still had to do a double take just to make sure her eyes weren’t playing tricks on her. “That’s the friend you were talking about!?” she sputtered, moving back a little bit since Houri mentioned that she might give the signal to get out of there. “You definitely weren’t kidding about how tall she could become, but is it a common thing for her to sleep in such a state? On top of a cliff, no less?”
This wasn’t exactly the best time for asking questions, unfortunately. Gravity was kicking in; the sleeping giant was coming down. Judging from the angle and speed in which she was moving, she was about to perform an unconscious belly flop right into the large pool they were next too. Nai-Ran’s crimson eyes somehow managed to grow even wider than before as she scooted herself backward and clung tightly to a near-by tree. She found that she had just enough time to wrap her arms around the trunk before the massive amount of water that was splashed into the air from the impact fell upon them in a harsh barrage. It didn’t feel like mere droplets this time around. No, it was more like a tidal wave. Had Nai-Ran not been clinging to the tree with all of her strength, she would have easily been washed away by the rush of water.
When the wave had passed, the serpentine lass cautiously let go of the tree and gasped for air. To think that she had been concerned about the first splash she had received... Now she was absolutely drenched. Nai-Ran was certain that if she could gaze upon herself in a mirror, she would look incredibly pathetic. Her pale pink hair was soaked and stuck to her back. The liquid had seeped in between her scales, giving her a rather unpleasant feeling when she moved. One of her biggest and most recent pet peeves that she had discovered was getting her tail wet. The feeling was the worst!
Nai-Ran sighed, trying to push her thoughts about how much of a nightmare the trek back home was going to be to the back of her mind. The girl slithered back over to the pool that was now noticeably emptier than before. Well, it had less water in it at least. It was actually still quite full thanks to the fact that there was now a gigantic Florian sleeping there. She looked over to Houri, who was just as soaked as she was, and motioned at the large woman. “So... Any ideas on how to wake her up? We still need her assistance to get up there, don’t we?”

A tidal wave gushed forth crushing upon Holly's back and shoulders. She endured under the strain of hundreds of gallons of liquid, feeling the water rush around, and could focus on nothing else except one thought as the water subsided, "I'm going to kill Calla."
Without a second thought she sloshed over to Nai-Ran and said, "You really shouldn't have spoken when you did before she fell I bet you just barely avoided drowning." She looked back over to the slumbering giant and then answered Nai-Ran with the words, "I suggest either one of two things, one, we transform and flip her over to wake her, or two, we have you tickle her."
Holly bounded over to Calla whose body lay in a now empty lake. She stopped in front of her rib cage, scaled the side with her hands and knees and landed with her wet, slippery feet on the top end of Calla's torso. Once up there she grabbed her white, sagging dress and wrung the fabric out on top of her pal. There was no better way to pay her friend back. She then stomped her right foot body and rubbed the sole of it into the giant girl's epidermic layer. The girl let out a soft moan yet did not move.
"We need to flip her! Her belly is very ticklish!" Holly cried before smirking Nai-Ran's direction, "Can you unleash that awesome snake power of yours and move a one thousand two hundred pound giant with me?"

“I’m alright. I got my mouth closed before the water hit me, though just barely. I could stand to be a little drier though...” Nai-Ran reassured the Florian with a half-smile, still feeling incredibly uncomfortable about being completely soaked. She listened to the pair of suggestions her friend offered up before watching as she climbed up the side of the sleeping giant.
That was a first. Nai-Ran could honestly say she had never had to resort to tickling to solve any of her problems before. Though, since Houri pointed out that the large woman was especially ticklish on her back, it sounded like both ideas relied on her being able to transform. She had never been able to successfully tap into her people’s transformation before. While it was true that it had been a while since she last tried, the young woman couldn’t help but feel a little skeptical. “I’ll give it a try, but I make no promises.” Nai-Ran sighed. She then closed her eyes and listened to Instructor Re-Za’s words echo in her mind.
‘Remember darling, accessing Serpentine Fury is simple enough as long as you have the energy to go through with it, and it will only become easier with practice. Now, I need you to envision some sort of incorporeal hand reaching so deep within your very core that it caresses your soul and channels energy into every fiber of your being. Not literally, of course. That would be dirty.~♥’ Instructor Re-Za was a weird one to say the very least, but his expertise when it came to combat and ki manipulation was top notch. He was one of the most expensive and sought after fighting instructors on Appodorra for a very good reason.
With her eyes still shut, Nai-Ran concentrated and began to power up. She channeled ki through every single one of her muscles. The young woman could feel something screaming within her, desperate to get out. It pounded, thrashed, and clawed at her viciously until it finally broke though. Her eyes snapped open as she felt a sudden wave of power wash over her damp skin. Sparks of bright red energy occasionally ran over her form before appearing to fizzle out, only to appear and repeat the process elsewhere on her body. The young woman could feel the canine growing from the roof of her mouth grow longer until they had turned into a pair of large fangs.
”I... I did it...” Nai-Ran said quietly to herself, flabbergasted at the fact that she was able to pull it off. Her voice sounded a bit different than before. It sounded like there was a second layer to it that sounded far lower and a bit raspy, adding sort of a snake-like hiss at the end of every word. She had never felt so powerful in her life! This wasn’t exactly the situation she had expected to finally reach Serpentine Fury in, but who cared? She couldn’t wait to show Instructor Re-Za and Instructor Ma-Surin her little accomplishment! It’s a shame she wasn’t to return home any time soon.
A large grin spread over Nai-Ran’s face as the sparks of energy continued their erratic dance over her body. “Is this the ‘awesome snake power’ you had in mind?” she chuckled, which sounded rather odd with the changes to her voice. She slithered over to the fallen giant and began to push on her side. She wasn’t putting her back into it just yet since Houri was still on the giant woman’s stomach. As soon as Houri decided to hop down and assist in the pushing, she would put her full strength into the task and surely flip the large Florian to allow the tickling to begin.

Holly gawked while the scouter over her left eye beeped she watched Nai-Ran's power increase before her eyes and noticed that sparks were flying from the snake girl's body. When her fangs elongated and her power growth stabilized Holly trembled with excitement. This was indeed what she expected and she indicated this with a sharp nod of her her head. Beneath her feet the breathing of her friend caused her chest to rise forcing Holly to slide towards one side she had climbed and fall off the edge. She hit the ground and noticed that she had fallen not only because of this but because Nai-Ran was pushing on her friend. The problem was her friend was not budging, not as much as Holly hoped or noticed. She stepped towards Nai-Ran and placed her hands on the side of her friend's hip, bending her elbows slightly, and shoving with all her normal strength.
"If you want me to I can transform too and make this fatty move for us. We Florians can be such a problem with our ability to grow so big with our transformations."

This was amazing! Nai-Ran didn’t even care that she was still soaked anymore. Her entire body was tingling. She felt like she could crush even the largest mountains of Appodorra in the palms of her hands and laugh triumphantly as she watched them crumble into little more than dust. Though, if she had trouble moving Houri’s friend, it was likely just the adrenaline going to her head. Calla Lily may have been rather large in her current state, but she was no mountain. The Ryashi would have to experiment with this new form of hers later to fully test out her new limitations.
It only took a few moments for Houri to come tumbling off the side of her friend. “Oh dear, I’m sorry for not warning you that I was going to start pushing. I thought that you were already on your way down,” Nai-Ran apologized after she realized what had happened. Though, now that Houri was no longer on top of the sleeping giant, the young woman could actually put her newfound strength to good use and push for real this time. She steadied herself for a moment before putting all that she could muster into one good push. Up Calla Lily went, but it wasn’t quite enough to flip her. She supposed she could always hold this position and use the tip of her tail to tickle her back, but she was worried that Calla Lily might end up crushing her if she moved wrong when she woke up.
“I’m not sure I can... do this on my own, so it... would be much appreciated if you would... transform as well,” Nai-Ran replied to Houri’s offer, straining to keep the sleeping giant propped up. She was a bit curious to see what kind of transformation the Florian had in mind since it was already stated that she couldn’t yet reach this size. It was obvious that Nai-Ran couldn’t exactly observe very well from her current position, but she would get to see it just fine once they had this problem taken care of. “Having the ability to grow... to such a size isn’t the issue, I would think. The problem... stems from falling asleep in such a state. Does your friend... have narcolepsy?”

Holly watched Nai-Ran keep her grip on Calla's body. It seemed that she was now slightly propped up, but the snake girl could not hold her up forever. She brought her arms down to the center her stomach, placed them over her belly, and connected her thumb and index finger tips together. Breathing in and out slowly she said, "I understand you cannot do this on your own. I'm fine with you having not warned me this time about your power, but please be careful. Yours almost matches my own and for that reason our strength I know can be a bit dangerous." She stated as she turned her head and allowed her scouter to read Nai-Ran's force at a little over 17,300.
Turning back to focus on her sleeping friend she added, "I know for a fact my friend does have it. Sleeping is a constant habit of hers and though this is the case she still uses her time to guard the village, even if she really can't thanks to this fact. I suppose it's because she believes her power to be the greatest in the village."
Holy laughed and allowed her energy to grow around her. Green light poured out of her body and caused her hair to blow all behind her. If Nai-Ran sniffed the air then she would begin to smell a pungent, yet pleasant scent of mint floating in the air. This aura grew stronger and as it did small, red flowers grew and bloomed on the sides of Holly's head. Vines also grew down her arms along with more of these flowers before the transformation finished with a complete rise in her power. She then stepped over to her friend, stood next to Nai-Ran, and braced her arms underneath the giant. With one great push she cried, "Heave-ho! Let's drop this lady on her belly!"
She hated to sound so improper, but Calla's decision to sleep yet again next to the waterfall was really upsetting. The girl needed to learn to control her sleep patterns, especially when she decided to get this big. It seemed like a problem for everyone to solve when she got like this.

Houri confirmed Nai-Ran’s assumption that narcolepsy was involved with the situation. It didn’t really matter how great one’s power was in this case. All that power would do Calla Lily no good if she was constantly falling into a deep sleep when she was supposed to be staying alert. Perhaps that was why they were having such trouble with trespassers, though that was only an educated guess. The Ryashi was certain that having a guard that was always falling asleep on the job wasn’t doing anything to help that problem. The young woman was concerned about the issue, but Houri simply laughed. Maybe she was fretting over nothing. It’s not like it was actually any of her business to begin with.
As Nai-Ran continued to strain herself holding up Calla Lily’s giant sleeping form, a sweet scent filled her nostrils. It sort of reminded her of the candied fruits she used to go crazy over when she was a child, though noticeably different. Before Nai-Ran knew what was happening, Houri was standing next to her and was helping her push. Her rallying cry was worded a bit crudely, but it was a message the young woman could get behind.
With both of them pushing, flipping the sleeping giant over was a snap. All it took was one good push to send the large Florian upward and cause her to land on her stomach. Nai-Ran was actually quite surprised that the sound from the crash she made didn’t wake her up.
Now that her arms were free, the serpentine lass had a chance to look over Houri’s transformed state. She had obviously become a lot more plantlike from a single glance. She was covered in vines and small red flowers. As excited as she was about her own transformation, Nai-Ran couldn’t help but give the Florian a thumbs up to show her approval.
“I guess it’s time to commence phase two. Let the... tickling... commence!” Nai-Ran claimed, trying to hold back a chuckle. It sounded pretty ridiculous when being said out loud. Still, Houri seemed confident that tickling would be the thing to wake her sleeping friend. She wasn’t going to say anything unless there was a lack of results. Nai-Ran slowly made her way up one of Calla Lily’s arms that was sprawled haphazardly across the clearing they were in. Once she reached the small of the giant’s back, she decided it was time to put her tail to good use.
The young Ryashi woman started to slither up and down the back of the Florian, making sure to wiggle herself as much as possible in the process. While performing that silly little dance of her’s she was keeping a sharp eye out for any sudden movements below her. She was no stranger what such sensations caused in someone that was fast asleep. The last thing she needed was a giant hand to come out of nowhere and swat her away like some kind of bug. Mind you, she wasn’t afraid of being harmed since she was still in her transformed state. The young woman needed to be able to dodge any incoming swipes rather than trying to smack them away. She had no idea how strong Calla Lily was; there was no point in risking any potential harm to Houri’s friend.

"Go! Ahead and start! I'll stay on the ground and help you with a new technique of mine I'm inspired to use! It's one my mother once used!" Holly called up to the snake girl as she crawled up upon Calla's stomach. She could see the girl's tail swishing back and forth over top of the girl, or at least that's what she thought she saw under the hot setting sun.
Rather then be bothered by these distractions Holly focused her energy and thought, "Grow vines... Grow..." repeating these words under her breathe three times. She closed her blue eyes and felt her green aura surged around her arms as the area underneath the buds on her arms began to itch. This sensation traveled all the way up to the tip of fingers and slowly the nubs on her finger tips began to grow, however, despite her best efforts this sensation only made her nails grow an inch before stopping. She'd heard in the past that other Florians including Calla could use a technique to grow vines from their hands as extra appendages.
"What is that technique mother used?" Holly thought to herself, "Donkey Reaper, Monkey Sleeper, hm, no... Konki Shiba!" Suddenly, with a great deal of force vines erupted from her finger tips and headed up towards the top of the girl's belly with Holly's finagling wrists. A muffled laugh escaped the once closed mouth of Calla the moment Holly's vines touched down and rubbed the center of her stomach. Within seconds of doing this her friend's green eyes shot open.
"Ah!" she cried upon seeing the vines and Nai-Ran on her stomach.

Post by Nai-Ran on Sept 8, 2014 9:32:05 GMT
For the very first time since arriving on Earth, Nai-Ran was actually glad that nobody from Appodorra was here with her. If any other Ryashi were to watch the bizarre spectacle of the young woman performing this weird little dance in hopes of waking up a slumbering giant, she figured it was something they would tease her about for the rest of her life. She had just attained one of the greatest achievements any Ryashi warrior could hope to attain and this was what she chose to do with it?! Still, it seemed to be doing the trick. Calla Lily was beginning to stir from her deep sleep.
Much to the young woman’s relief, the process was sped up when a bunch of vines joined in on the tickling. A quick glance over the edge of the large woman confirmed that the vines were Houri’s doing. With the combined efforts of Nai-Ran’s erratic wiggling and Houri’s vines, it didn’t take long at all to achieve their goal.
Since she had just been flipped onto her belly, Calla Lily didn’t immediately see the cause of the tickling feeling she felt on her back. However, upon peering over her shoulder with her large green eyes, she let out a scream when she noticed Nai-Ran and the group of vines. The serpentine lass didn’t blame her for such a reaction; if she woke up to such a sight, she might be a little freaked out as well. However, it was awfully loud since she was kind of close to her mouth.
The Ryashi clutched at her pointed ears in a vain attempt to protect them from the piercing shriek, which still left them ringing. “Normally I would say ‘good morning’, but you appear to be awake just in time to go star gazing,” Nai-Ran spoke loudly, her hands still over her pointed ears. Hopefully her attempt at conversation would assist in calming the giant’s nerves. However, the somewhat intimidating undertone her voice had gained since she had transformed likely wasn’t helping.
Not really sure how Calla Lily would further react to an unfamiliar off-worlder sitting on her back and hissing at her, Nai-Ran steadily made her way back down her arm. She was careful not to move her tail too much in order to avoid any further tickling. The young woman sat upon her coiled tail once she had reached Houri’s side and gave her a shrug of her shoulders. Having never tried to hold a conversation with a giant, let alone while in her transformed state, she was kind of at a loss for words at the moment.

Holly pulled her vines back and allowed room for Nai-Ran to climb down the side of Calla's stomach. After having to endure her friend's loud screaming she was pretty sure Nai-Ran was in some pain, even though she had calmly said, "Normally I would say ‘good morning’, but you appear to be awake just in time to go star gazing."
Holly looked up at her giant friend as Nai-Ran shrugged her shoulders and stepped over to the giantess. "Do you have any idea what you've done?" Holly stated in an angry tone.
Calla shook her head no, but could feel some kind of liquid underneath her buttocks. She looked down to find herself sitting inside a half drained lake. Then looked up as her jaw dropped. "I-I fell down from my post!"
Holly nodded but then jumped up onto the lady's chest, reached her arms around her neck, and hugged her. "You're okay, this time, you don't appear to have injured anything but you had another sleeping spell again and fell down here while still using Hatsuiku."
Calla gulped and noticed that the blond haired girl was drenching wet as her cool hands pressed against her neck. The same went for some kind of snake girl standing about ten to twenty feet from them. She pointed at Nai-Ran and asked her friend, "Holly who's that?"
Holly looked back at Nai-Ran with her blue eyes and said, "Oh, that's Nai-Ran. She's an alien who comes from the planet Appadora. I was coming home and found her in the desert."
Calla blinked and then remembered the reason she'd been at the waterfall in the first place. She grabbed Holly in a giant grip and squeezed her hard. "Holly! You left the village again without saying a word!"
At this point Holly could not answer though she was having a hard enough time breathing as she felt giant finger pads wrap around her and press down on her back and chest, "Ngh... Can't breathe!" she cried. Fortunately, Calla let her go then stood up, allowing Holly to slide down her legs carefully, and thudded over to Nai-Ran. She bent down to her, casting a giant shadow over the ground floor of the jungle and told her, "Thank you for saving me Nai-Ran of Appadora. I would have thought you were what we call a Zoanthrope if Holly hadn't said anything. Anyway, let me shrink down to my regular size after I give you a lift and we can talk properly."
Without warning Calla then reached out with her left hand and gently scooped up Nai-Ran with her palm. The appendage was about twenty feet across including her fingers so there was plenty of room for Nai-Ran to sit around without feeling uncomfortable, however, it was surely to be a scary experience for her. On the other hand, she roughly reached out with her right hand, grabbed Holly off the ground and dropped her into her left palm. Holly fell from the air, but not from a great height and landed on her feet. Yet her balance was so distorted from earlier roughness that she ended up falling on her butt. "I'm tired..." she groaned before she lay back and closed her eyes on her friend's hand. The power she held within her body began to recede and with it the red flowers and vines wilted before completely dropping off as the alien re-entered her normal state of power.
Calla smiled at Holly seeing that she had to use all her strength to move her plus this girl's strength. She was clearly not at a level where the two could fight together properly. Calla though knew she had a task at hand, since she could only assume her friend came here with this person to enter the village. Nai-Ran appeared to be without legs only having a large snake tail, strange long canines, and a dastardly looking red aura around her. She concluded that since Holly had come with a friend like this that the girls could not climb the cliff without issues, so Holly had told this Nai-Ran about her.
"Well," she thought, "Since Holly took her here I might as well take them up the cliff, give her a glimpse of the village, and then actually show her the proper footpath normal humans use." She approached the waterfall, or what was left of it. And felt only a small trickle come down from the top of the falls as she sloshed through what was left of the lake too. It would take a good number of years, or an extra water damming project to fix the fine waterfall Holly had just broken. But that aside she grab the now more visible foot holds underneath and next to the cliff and began a half mile aside in her fifty foot tall form. Nai-Ran was sure to enjoy the ride, but she was pretty sure Holly was going to be out of commission for three days. That was the average recovery time for someone using only the most basic transformation of the Florian people.
"Enjoy the view, and don't worry about Holly she'll wake up in a few days..." Calla stated as she looked down at Nai-Ran with humungous eyes. As they climbed the waterfall's rock cliffs Nai-Ran would be able to look out and see every star in the region if she turned herself towards the proper angle and looked up.

Nai-Ran observed as the two friends reunited and conversed with each other, giving a small wave to Calla Lily as Houri spoke her name. Her pointed ears twitched slightly as she heard the term ‘Zoanthrope’ tossed her way, but she hadn’t the faintest idea what it meant. It didn’t sound malicious though, so she decided not to bother asking about it. The Ryashi couldn’t help but feel a small twinge of jealousy as she watched them talk. It made her wonder when she would be able to do the same with her friends back home. Calla Lily extended her arm and scooped the young Ryashi woman into the palm of her hand. It was a little surprising with how suddenly it happened, but Nai-Ran wasn’t too bothered by it. After all, that was the whole reason they had gone through the trouble of waking her up in the first place. Houri was dropped next to her moments later. While she landed on her feet at first, she quickly lost her balance and fell on her behind. Thankfully, Nai-Ran’s tail was far more stable than having legs, no matter how many of them one possessed. Rather than climb back to her feet, Houri complained about being tired and shut her eyes instead as the giant woman began to ascend the cliff; it was a rather impressive to do so one handed. The vines and flowers that had covered Houri’s form drooped and fell off of her body one by one. The sweet scent that filled the air dissipated. Nai-Ran was about to ask Calla Lily if she was alright, but she was assured that she was only sleeping before she could form the words. “If you say so...” the serpentine lass sighed with a shrug of her shoulders. It had been a long day, and she was starting to feel a bit weary herself. The only thing keeping her eyes open was the energy from her Serpentine Rage still coursing through her body. She decided to just sit back and enjoy the view of the night sky until they reached the top of the cliff. Once they reached the top, Nai-Ran spied a cluster of little huts not too far from the edge of the cliff nestled among the dense foliage. That must have been where Houri lived. It didn’t look like there was any activity over there at the moment. Chances were that most of the Florians were in the process of falling asleep for the night. Rather than head in that direction, Calla Lily turned to the left and pointed out what appeared to be a path that was mostly overgrown with vegetation. The giant Florian explained that if one was to follow that path, it would eventually lead down to the lake that was now mostly empty. Were she to travel to the village again, she would be able to completely bypass the cliff that way. “That’s a relief that such a path exists. I think it’s about time that I take my leave of your company. It’s late, and I think its best that I return home before I follow Houri’s lead,” she said while motioning to the sleeping Florian. Calla Lily asked if she needed help getting home, to which Nai-Ran politely declined. She wanted to test out her transformed state a bit more and was still feeling damp from getting splashed earlier. Seeing how fast she could get home on her own would likely help with both of those. The large Florian lowered her hand so that the young woman could slither back onto the ground. Nai-Ran smiled up at Calla Lily and gave her a quick bow of her head. “Thank you very much for your assistance. Though, I implore you to try to stay awake when guarding your village in the future. The others are depending on you,” she commented before turning around and beginning her trek back to the desert. It had been a long day; there was much to think about. Not only had she already gained a new friend and learned some important information about the planet she would be staying on for the next several years, she had finally attained Serpentine Fury! Perhaps her new life on Earth wouldn’t be as bad as she thought... ~Fin~
