“There’s gotta be a lot of food in the East Capitol! I heard about a new restaurant that opened up.. Ooh man have I heard great reviews!” The blonde human clasped his fingers behind his head, waltzing a dirt path. With his boots crunching in the moist soil, little paw-prints followed closely behind him. Ibexe, Chaz’s “Brother” trot alongside him. “The man actually said that the food there gave him a bad case of diarrhea.” The duo had a very bad habit of twisting words from other people into completely opposite directions. “No! He said it was good. Remember? He said that Katsudon was priceless!” Saliva dripped from the corner of Chaz’s mouth, his long tongue hanging down across his chin. “Fine. But don’t come crying to me when you’re in the bathroom for hours and hours on end.” Ibexe lifted his furry red arms up, crossing them along his chest. He gave Chaz a little ‘Hmph’, which was something he always did whenever these types of situations rose.
As the two were continuing on their journey to the fabled restaurant, several cars zoomed by them. They were going so fast that a small shockwave followed behind the car, pushing Chaz and Ibexe off of their path. “Holy crap! Where are they goin’ in such a damn hurry?!” Ibexe pointed down the path. “Chaz, look.” About a dozen more cars were hurtled towards them. People were running alongside the road, their clothes ripped apart. Their bodies were covered in bruises and even blood. One of the individuals stopped and called back to the other that were running. “You gotta keep running! Once they finish with the city, they’re gonna come looking for any survivors! Get away from the city!” Both Chaz and Ibexe gave each other puzzled looks. What the hell WAS going on?
“Hey! Hey dude! What’s goin’ on?!” Chaz jumped out in front of the man that was trying to hurry the remnant people along. “South Capitol is being attacked! There are guys with monkey tails flying around and blowing everything up! They’re killing everyone!! You need to run!” Monkey tails..? Monkey tails.. that sounded oddly familiar. Was it Chaz’s stepmom? Was she trying to destroy the city? “Ibby! C’mon, we gotta go!” With a slight nod, the two set off for the area that had just left. Their home; South Capitol.

(Heavy weights on, PL: 7,700.)
Raisu had finally come home: South Capitol. Or at least he was on the outskirts of it. He wasn't going inside it. No, there was a battle to the death raging inside. He'd just get in the way, make things harder on those fighting to defend. He just wanted to see it again. Raisu was sentimental like that. He stood beneath a tree, watching the city from a distance. Yep, there was some kind of fire burning in there. He could feel the assorted ki signatures going at it. No, he'd just stay here and keep an eye on the outskirts. If a Saiyan straggler came his way, he'd take care of it.
People passed by him. The last of the refugees, escaping the city. Why hadn't they escaped earlier? They'd had a week's warning. No, he'd thought about this earlier: it wasn't easy to leave your home. But now they had no real choice. They came past in on foot, in cars, in bands small and large. There was no real order here. Just chaos, the mad dash for survival.
These poor people, thought Raisu. But what could he do? The people in there, fighting to kill and destroy? They were monsters. They were on another echelon. One by one, he focused in on each individual ki signature. There was a monster, there was a monster, and there was another. Of course, there were heroes among them. There always were. But Raisu couldn't count himself among them. It was too late. He just wasn't strong enough.
He sighed. Nothing left to do but help where he could. And then he saw something in the crowd. Two young men, making their way towards the city. What? They must be insane. He leaned forward, and ran after them. He'd have to stop them before they went back in.
"Hey, you guys!"
He shouted after them. How vague of him. You guys? That could be anybody.
"The blond guy and the catperson! Stop!"

Ibexe and Chaz dashed through the expansive crowd escaping the South Capitol. Now, the duo could really see what was going on. Pillars of smoke billowed from within the city, buildings near the outskirts demolished. They stopped in horror, right in front of the city. Their home. The place they grew up in. The place they loved. It was crumbling down right before their eyes. It was being destroyed. Dead bodies lined the sides of the path, with some few who were injured, crawling for their lives, trying to escape the city. The people they loved. Being slaughtered. They hadn’t even gotten to leave home yet, and it was being invaded.
“Ibby.. we gotta help them..!” “Right!”
Before the two could advance any further, someone had called out. They specifically said blonde guy and cat person. Chaz turned on his heels, looking for anyone who was looking towards them. His eyes finally set upon a humanoid with red hair standing underneath a tree. He was telling them to stop. Was he crazy? They didn’t have time to stop. There were people in there that needed help, and Chaz couldn’t stand by.
“I can’t just let people die in there! I’ve gotta go help them!” Chaz’s heroic side was showing. He didn’t normally stick his neck out for people. Then again, Chaz didn’t ever go through cities being destroyed. All in all, this was not a normal circumstance. With that, he continued on into the city. The people along the sidelines, the ones still conscious and alive, were completely maimed and beaten. They barely even had any signs of life in them. As much as Chaz wanted to help, he couldn’t. There wasn’t any helping them. He had to go for the people he knew would make it out.
“Hello?!” Ibby followed suite, jumping up to smack Chaz in the back of the head. “Be quiet! If didn’t realize it by now, there are people attacking the city! Do you want them to hear you and come over here? We need to stay hidden, find as many people as we can, and get out.” As much as Chaz hated to admit it, Ibby was right. They couldn’t help people if they were constantly fighting off enemies.

Dammit, thought Raisu, why didn't people listen to him? They stopped, but they were adamant about moving on. How could he talk sense into them? They meant well, but he couldn't let them throw their lives away. There were giant monkeys and worse things within the city. It would be suicide. Who did they think they were?
Raisu's mind brushed against two ki signatures. They were close, right in front of him actually. Why hadn't he noticed earlier? They were more than human. Not particularly impressive, unless they were further suppressing it. Speaking of which, why wasn't he suppressing his own? That would have been smart. Too late now, though.
Far too late, in fact. They'd continued into the city. Shit, thought Raisu. He'd have to run after them. Focusing, he hid his ki. He could at least seem like a normal person. While he was doing forward thinking, he also took pains to stuff his tail in his pants. That tail wouldn't win him any friends today.
He ran after them. It wasn't hard to follow them, once he had a sense for their ki. Carefully, he snuck up behind them and leaned.
"Look, we need to get back outside the city. Don't you know what's going on in here?"

Chaz and Ibby jostled around the streets, looking in every nook and cranny for a remaining survivor. Anyone that needed help. This was their home, and these were their people. The duo wasn’t about to let them all go. Now, while they were extremely outgoing and optimistic, they weren’t stupid. Both of them felt the amount of power resonating from some of the individuals deeper into the city. They were absolute beasts compared to Chaz and Ibby. The amount of power coming from them just made Chaz want to hurl. That’s how devastating it was. Not even in their wildest dreams could they take on people of that caliber. As much as they hated to admit it, right now, they were outclassed. Outmatched, outgunned. There was not one thing they could do but help people. As Chaz was rummaging through rubble in order to find anyone in need, a large explosion erupted behind him. The mere force from the blast sent Chaz flying through the debris, crashing through even stone. Ibby was also sent flying in the process, the opposite way of which Chaz was. Maniacal laughter bellowed throughout the musty air. It wasn’t the good type of laughter, either. Chaz gripped the back of his neck, pushing a giant piece of stone wall out of his way. “What in the world…?” Standing in the street right in front of him were two humanoid figures. One had oddly coloured red hair, and the other was quite bruteish. They were both snickering and flaunting about, obviously proud of the destruction they’ve caused. “Hahaha! I told you there were more survivors out here!” “I thought one of the commanders got them all…”
(Red Hair- Sebu - 31,000 Power Level)
(Black Hair- Escaro - 4,000 Power Level)Chaz closed his eyes for a moment. He was trying to feel their power out. They weren’t NEARLY as powerful as some of the others, but the one in red was definitely on a league of his own compared to Chaz himself. The bigger one was more on Chaz’s level. He pegged him to at least be around the same strength. The blonde human changed up his search. He wasn’t as worried about them as he was for Ibby. Ibby could’ve been seriously hurt during the explosion. “Where did you go, buddy…” After searching for a second or two, he spotted his brother. Ibby was out cold, lying underneath a plethora of debris. “All I have to do is distract them, get Ibby, and run. I can’t fight these guys..!”

Ignored again. These kinds of people never learned, did they? Raisu followed after them. Why was he so concerned for them? He couldn't say. Perhaps he felt a kind of kinship with them. After all, if they were willing to risk their lives to help others, there must be some redeeming qualities about them.
And then he saw them, searching through debris. He'd make them listen this time, he'd... And then there was an explosion. Smoke and debris went flying, and as it cleared, he could just barely make out the blond man. Where was his cat friend? Nto that it mattered, because two Saiyans had appeared from nowhere, spouting nonsense about destruction. The same bullshit you'd hear from any other Saiyan, really. Strangely enough, one had red hair, not unlike Raisu. Another half-breed perhaps. Regardless of the purity of his blood, he was certainly the stronger of the duo. His big and brawny friend showed that looks weren't everything.
How could he allow them to approach like this? Raisu must have lost his focus while looking for the blond boy and his friend. But to miss these two... He'd been sloppy. No time to think about that, though. From the looks of it, things were about to kick off.
"Hey," he shouted, "Pick on someone your own size."
Raisu's blood began to burn, and he felt a fire in his heart. Time to fight? Yes, please. What a sight he must be for Saiyans. His power level surpressed and weights on? He must look like a particularly silly human, one who would be mad to challenge them.

Before Chaz could even make a move, the person from earlier had stepped up to the plate. The red-haired guy who tried to stop them from going into the city in the first place. Why did he follow them? Was he actually going to take these guys on..? Chaz felt out his power, and it wasn’t anything special. Hell, he was even weaker than Chaz himself! How would he have any type of chance against these guys at all? This guy was just some normal human. These others were.. Saiyans? Was that what they were called? He only knew about them due to his step-mother being one. All he knew was that they were really mean people with monkey tails. Either way, this guy had absolutely no chance in fighting these two. Ibby was ok, and Chaz was able to tell that. As long as he was ok, Chaz couldn’t care less about anything else. But this person was about to fight two monsters that he didn’t have a chance in hell against (Or that’s what Chaz thought, at least.) He couldn’t let him fight alone. It was a very stupid idea. Very, very stupid. “This guy is gonna fight them alone.. I can’t..!”
With a might yell, Chaz jumped forth from the little safe-haven he had inside of the rubble, jumping through the air to land beside the red-haired newcomer. “Two-on-one isn’t fair! So if you wanna fight him, you gotta fight me too!” Afterall, this guy was a citizen in his own right. On the upside, Chaz had been looking for some type of brawl. It had been a while since he had any type of fight, let alone a spar. This was no spar, though. This was a battle that could determine whether Chaz and Ibby live, or die. The only thing that set him apart from a normal person in this situation was the fact that he had a very distinct goal in mind. One that he was going to accomplish alongside Ibby no matter the cost. He wasn’t going to die here, and neither was Ibby. Also, if Chaz had any say in it, this other guy wasn’t going to perish either. He slammed his fist into the palm of his hand, a very light yellow, almost white aura engulfing his entire body. While Chaz was strong in his own right, not even powering up was enough to cause any damage to the surrounding area. He had to train a lot more in order to cause some real damage. The two Saiyans looked at Raisu and Chaz, bursting into a fit of cackling. To them, Chaz and this other guy seemed like peasants. “You’re going to fight us?! Really? HAHAHAHAHA!”
(BTW, you are just as much apart of this as I am! If you would like to control the Saiyans dialogue and their actions, by all means go for it! I have no problem with it. )

It seemed the blond haired boy would be joining him. Well, this was what Raisu had been hoping to avoid. Perfect. No good deed goes unpunished, it seems. At least now he didn't have to fight two people on his own. No, he wouldn't even need to take his weights off for this. Worst case scenario, he could always do that.
Raisu stepped towards the smaller Saiyan, the one with the red hair. At least he could occupy him. The blond boy seemed to have his own bag of tricks. He could handle the other Saiyan. Raisu was sure of that much.
The red-haired Saiyan seemed to smirk as Raisu approached. He still didn't know just what Raisu was really like. As he approached, he slowly let his power level rise, carefully allowing the suppression to fade.
"Still think you can handle me?"

Just as Chaz was about to dive into battle, his red-haired battle partner stepped forward. What the hell was he doing?! His confidence was through the roof! To the point of being OVER-confident. Then something happened that changed the entire situation. This guy’s power was rising! It had even succeeded Chaz’s at this point. Was this guy some type of master martial artist or something? How could he suppress his power level to such low levels? The upside to this, he was presumably on Chaz’s side. The “good” side. Right now, that was all Chaz needed to know. If he could handle the red-haired Saiyan, then Chaz himself could take on the brute.
“I sure am glad you’re on my side!” The aura around the human’s body flared upwards, spiking in many different directions. He clenched his fists, allowing a giant smile to spread across his lips. “IIBBY! I hope you’re watching! I’m about to run wild!” In one swift motion, the aura disappeared. Chaz held his hand palm out first before the two Saiyans. “But first, allow me.” From his back pocket, Chaz removed a massive leg of turkey, stuffing the entire thing in his mouth.
“Ermgngfffggng… Just.. Just give.. mmmffmffmm.. Give me a moment!”
The two barbarians sat, absolutely baffled at the human’s action. Who would pull out a giant piece of food and devour it before battle. Who would have the nerve to ask his enemies for a second to eat? Chaz would.
“I’m ready!” In the blink of an eye, Chaz flash-stepped towards Escaro, throwing a flurry of kicks and punches. Distracted by Chaz’s previous shenanigans, the Saiyan was completely caught off guard. While he was able to block and parry the majority of Chaz’s attacks, his relentless onslaught forced the Saiyan backwards, deeper into the city. As stupid as Chaz may have come across, he didn’t want this battle to be anywhere near Ibby. Nor did he want it to be in the way of the other two. They were leagues above him, and surely their battle would be titanic. He was just hoping that the other guy realised Ibby was nearby, and tried to protect him with his life.
“Take this, and this, and this, and this, and this, this this this this this!” The swollen Saiyan was seemingly having trouble keeping up with Chaz’s movements. Not that he couldn’t, but Chaz had really caught him off guard with eating the food before battle. With the large bone still in his hand, Chaz swung it downward, clonking the Saiyan right in his noggin. “Bam! Howdya like that?!” The impact caused Escaro to slam into the ground, shattering the concrete in the surrounding area. Blood spurt from his mouth as his neck was crunched against his shoulders, having been jammed from the impact of Chaz’s bone attack.
Chaz landed on his feet, swinging the bone around in his hands. He pointed it towards Escaro, bringing his free hand out in front of himself in order to taunt the monkey. He placed his right index finger against his cheekbone, pulling the skin down around his eye and sticking his tongue out. “Neehh neh neh neh neehh! Hahahaha!”

Raisu continued to step towards the red-haired Saiyan. The two of them had locked eyes and were trading smirks. Confidence all around it seems. Raisu's mind brushed against the Saiyan's aura: he wouldn't be a bad match for Raisu. Not while Raisu was wearing his weights at least. Raisu stopped walking towards the Saiyan, and the two simply stared at each other for a moment in time. There was a kind of understanding here, the kind only warriors could have in that moment. They were practically daring each other to make the first move. Who would try their might first?
As it would be, Raisu struck first. He dashed forward, closing ground as fast as he could. He jumped, letting his momentum carry him. His leg extended for a kick, leveled square at the Saiyan's chest. But there was a danger in showing one's hand first: often one's opponent could turn the tables. And so it was, the Saiyan stepped to the side quickly, taking care to fire a ki blast at Raisu as he passed. Raisu barely landed before the blast caught him.
The blast crashed into Raisu, the heat from it intense against the skin beneath his clothes. That would leave a mark. But there was no time to waste. He shot to his feet and pivoted, returning fire with his own ki blast, and a second for good measure. The Saiyan managed to turn the first, slapping it away, but the second buried itself in the Saiyan's chest before bursting. Though it sent the Saiyan reeling, Raisu was impressed, and almost pleased, to see that the Saiyan stood his ground.
"Not bad," chirped Raisu.
The Saiyan only smirked in confidence in return. It was only a second before the two were at each other in fullforce. They ran at each other, passions rising, trading blows like they were cards.
The Saiyan was keeping up. How was the blond doing? Raisu took the time to shoot him a sideways glace before turning his eyes back on his foe. The blond seemed to be holding his own.

“Heheheheh! Neh neh neh neh neh, you can’t touch me! Tppphh- Douhf!” With a thick, meaty hand wrapped around his throat, Chaz choked up. The Saiyan Escaro had risen from his crater, now ticked off to hell. To think that a lowly human was able to best him in such a short amount of time made his blood boil. It threw him into a fit of rage unlike any other. Green energy erupted from the ground around him, swamping the surrounding area. The strewn pieces of concrete were sent flying around in a tornado like fashion. Veins pressed up against his neck, threatening to burst at any given moment. His hand tightened around Chaz’s neck, causing the human’s eyes to bulge from their sockets. “HRAAARRAAAAHHHGGGHH!”
A fury induced fist sunk itself deep into Chaz’s abdomen, allowing a small stream of saliva to trail from his lips. The fingers wrapped around his throat didn’t loosen at all. With the current grip Escaro had on Chaz, the human wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon. He unloaded several more canon-like fists into Chaz’s mid-section in rapid succession. Each punch felt as if it was shaving years off of Chaz’s life. His eyes nearly popped out of his skull with each blow. He had never been hit so hard in his entire life, besides by his step-mother. And that was the one thing Chaz had on this guy. He was beaten for most of his life. He was torn apart for most of his life. Maybe not in such a barbaric fashion, but he was brutalized as a kid. To Chaz, this was another weekday morning.
Before the human had time to react, Escaro used the vice-grip on his throat in order to toss Chaz up into the air. Unable to even fly, he had absolutely no way of dodging whatever attacked this Saiyan brute was gonna throw at him. With two green balls of energy in the palms of his burly hands, he launched them upwards at Chaz. With no way of evading the attack, he just brought his arms up for protection, bringing them across his chest in an x-shape.
This was Chaz’s first ever real battle. A battle that stuck him on THE line. On one side of the line was life, on the other, was death. If he lost, he would die. If he won, he would live. For the first time in his life, he was happy fighting. Even though he could end up dying, he was fighting for a purpose. He was fighting to protect people. To protect this other guy. To protect Ibby. This Saiyan wasn’t holding anything back, and if Chaz survived this last attack, he won’t hold anything back either.

Raisu was having a much better time. Despite the inherent danger, there was something about it all that appealed to something baser in his mind. It was as if he were operating on instinct at times. His blood surged and his heart beat wildly. Even the blows which would devastate lesser men seemed dull in his battle addled state. This was the part of himself he feared, but damn if Raisu did not love it in the moment.
The red-haired Saiyan seemed to be getting the same out of it. It was as if something in their souls awoke in moments like this, as if the sounds and sights of battle spoke to something primal in them. This is what nature intended, it seemed.
Raisu's eyes again caught the Saiyan's red hair. It was not unlike his own. They were even close in height, though the other Saiyan might have that on him. It wasn't easy to tell in the moment. Was the other Saiyan a hybrid himself? Raisu had pondered the question before, but as the two went back and forth trying to break each other, it came into his mind again. What would Raisu's own life be like if he'd grown up within the Empire? Harsher, probably. It would have produced a harder man, one who would be on the other side of this fight right now. It was a sickening thought.
The blond seemed to be having a rougher time, but at least he was still standing.
Keep it up, thought Raisu. At least until Raisu finished his foe.

The ki attack hit nearly point blank. A large explosion burst throughout the air, kicking up dust and smoke. The surrounding area became shrouded in the thick grey smoke, tuning visibility down to zero. The explosion itself caused several buildings in the vicinity to blow apart, collapse, and crumble. It was truly a devastating site for anyone who considered the city home. Everyone was in shambles. Destroyed, decimated. Even cars were added into the destruction. The bruteish Saiyan known only as Escaro stood in the midst of the smoke, cackling like a madman.
“Weeeehahahahahaha! You see what happens? You see what happens when you try to play the good guy? Play the hero?! You get nowhere! You find yourself crushed.. under.. my.. BOOT! Weeehahahahaha!”
He clapped his hands together, wiping off any debris that infected it during the scuffle. He was quite proud of himself. This was the first time he had ever finished his opponent off before his partner Sebu could. He felt like bragging about it right now. That’s all he could think about. In his mind, whoever finished their adversary first got the spoils of killing them both, granted they weren’t murdered in the initial battle. So far, Sebu had won their little competitions every single time. Except this one. “It’s 1 to 25 now, Sebu! Weeeehahahaha!”
Underneath pounds and pounds of concrete and rubble lie Chaz. Streams of blood ran down the sides of his face, emitting from any and every orifice on his body. He couldn’t move his body at all. Chaz didn’t know if it was from the extreme amount of pain he was in, or the fact that his body was trapped by loads of stone. The feeling of not being able to move was scary. How was he going to be able to defend himself? How was he going to get up? How was he going to do anything? This Saiyan could easily blow him up right now. Did he think Chaz was dead? Did he think Chaz was done for? It may have been the truth. Chaz couldn’t move a muscle. He could barely even think straight. He closed his eyes, ready for whatever fate had in store.
A beam of light broke through some of the rubble, gleaming against Chaz’s eyes. As if it was a reflex, he attempted to bring his arms up to block his eyes. Seeing as he was trapped, he couldn’t. Then, he heard something that he never ever wanted to hear from anyone besides Ibby. “Weeehhahaha! Looks like that kid dropped a piece of meat!” The blond human’s eyes bugged out, veins in his forehead crackling like a spiderweb
“Don’t…. touch…. my.... “
The rubble pinning Chaz down began to rise in the air, seemingly defying gravity. On a whims notice, yellow and white energy exploded from the rubble, nearly disintegrating most of what was holding him down. Chaz was standing in the middle of the floating debris, his fists clenched and his canine-like fangs baring.
“FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDD!!!!!!!!!!”

Raisu felt the rising power somewhere nearby. It came to him like a flood. The blond boy's signature had suddenly shot up. Impressive. His power had surpassed Raisu's weighted state. But for how long? Hopefully, long enough to finish whatever matter had driven him to such a state.
Though in a more pressing matter, Raisu was still locked in combat with his own foe. If he cared to shed his weights, he could simply overwhelm the other Saiyan. But where was the excitement or challenge in that? A fist slammed into Raisu's stomach and felt his lunch lurch. Yet he was still enjoying the fight. It set some part of his mind alight, like firecrackers.
Raisu answered with his own blow, a swift crack to the knee. The Saiyan buckled, and Raisu thought he heard a swear come from his mouth.
The fight was only beginning, but Raisu knew it would only accelerate at a breakneck pace from here.

“Rrrraaaaaaagghh!” Chaz disappeared from the spot in which he once was, leaving a very crappy and droopy looking image of himself. Escaro had no idea what to do. The guy he thought he had just defeated rose up with a sudden burst of power, and now he was leaving images of himself around? Not very good ones at that. In a split second, Chaz appeared on Escaro’s left side, swinging his right leg outward in order to connect with the Saiyan’s face. He was able to deflect the attack at the cost of his left arm. The impact of Chaz’s foot colliding with Escaro’s forearm completely snapped the bones within his arm.
“DAMNIT!”
The blond human didn’t stop there. He continued his assault, throwing flurries of kicks, punches, elbows, knees, and even headbutts at his adversary. Having only three limbs to block with now, Escaro couldn’t do a thing to protect himself, save for parrying a few punches. He launched his bulky frame into the air to try and avoid anymore of Chaz’s onslaught, hoping to get a ki-blast off while the young blond was on the ground. When his eyes met the ground again, Chaz was not there. Chaz appeared behind the Saiyan, slamming a multitude of kicks into his vascular back. “Gaaagffghhh!”
Escaro was sent crashing into the concrete below, destroying the surrounding landscape even further. Chaz landed beside him, his chest heaving to and fro. Steam rose from various parts of his body. His power-up was eating up a massive amount of energy. Everytime he moved in this form, it felt as if his bones were cracking, his muscles were tearing themselves apart. It even hurt to breath. But this was the only way he could defeat this guy. Even though Chaz had no idea in hell on how he was able to achieve this higher form of power, he knew he had to keep it up. At least until he beat this Saiyan.
Escaro rose from the rubble, blood now dripping down his face, his broken arm limp at his side. He was hurt, and even more so, pissed off. The human was able to best him again. A HUMAN. To him, humans weren’t even meant for combat. He believed humans to be the slaves, and the Saiyans the emperors. But now, a rogue human was fighting back, and beating him? He definitely wasn’t getting a promotion after this bout. His commanders would probably slaughter him if he lost. So not only was Chaz fighting for his own life, but Escaro was as well.
“I won’t lose!”
Both of the hard fought warriors charged, fists clenched. They were both determined on defeating the other. Neither one was going to fall until the other did. Two warriors putting their lives on the line in a battle wasn’t something you got to witness every day. Chaz was hoping that somewhere out in the world, his step-mother was watching. Even though he hated her guts, he wanted her to be impressed. It was a feeling he’s had ever since he left home. She was never impressed with anything Chaz had ever done, and he wanted to show her he was capable of something.
