( Power Level 15,530) Battle everywhere from elites to hybrids. Even when he tried to avoid it or engage it was still high amounts of combat. Respite was hard to attain on this planet. Or maybe it was partially in his behavior as well. He'd taken off away from the cities briefly for the time. Heading towards the warmth and heat he'd heard of in the desert of this place. Isolation and warmth of reflection he'd thought. But even this place wasn't free of the harsh world. No military or pesky heroes and strange variations of earths naturally weak species. The strange variants weren't around but still bandits. Would be thieves with no real sense of what true criminal honor was. The day had left a path of filth after he'd landed and wondered for a time. Bodies littered the sands with a few survivors who had fled leaving several foot step paths. A few bodies of various animal like people and human forms were left in the wake though. A battle of people looking to take a blue out of place boy for all he was worth. While it was true Jarvis didn't favor blood on his hands. Those who came for his life did at times get responded too in kind. A few of the corpses were broken at the limbs or had passed from internal injuries from mighty blows that far surpassed what they were used too. There was a path of them for a time some after awhile showed signs of being cut with some object rather then torn apart blasted or brutalized. Blood stained the ground with wet crimson sand in various patches. One that was a little larger at the end. A large tiger man corpse laid in the sand its head smashed and left in a pool of bits and pieces of internal fluids and chunks. Given the lack of corpses further on it appeared once the leader was slain the survivors and unharmed chose to flee. Cowards who'd lost their leader of power and stance. The night that came later hid most of this from light but the smell of blood didn't leave easily nor did it make it harder for some trackers of skill to follow it. The pitch black sky up high was littered with bright stars giving light to the cool freezing desert night winds. They howled in the distance when not felt up close in rough gusts. A fire roared strong though like a beacon in the black. Jarvis was there waiting out the winds angry of the cold when he'd come for the heat. Blue hair lightly streaked with crimson blood. His blue eyes shaken and torn with fury and reflection. A cutlass at his side stolen from the brute boss he'd put down. He had the eyes currently of a killer. Recognized by others who had taken life and when it was fresh with them. He was not pleased as the ember lights flash his appearance his blue tail resting against the sand at his side. His body had a few stains of blood from the sleeveless saiyan black body suit he wore. To the black military human style pants and black combat boots he wore over the suit on his lower body. His white gloves weren't spared either the stains of his enemies blood. He'd not worried about bathing it off as there was few large bodies of water or places of rest to use. In truth he didn't notice the smell locked in his head at the moment fighting his own head. Blood was something he forgot about. Trying to keep himself rested and his head clear. He got like this sometimes after battle. His saiyan side embraced battle and glee in victory. But when his Brenchian side won and the way he was raised didn't give much glee in the moment. Just chaotic discourse that should have been adapted to the most appropriate response. Over the fire cooked a corpse of some large animal. Wolf or perhaps tiger. Given the heat and charred body. Hunks of meat had been eaten after being torn off. For now it just cooked more so burning and growing into black outer rough skin. For now there was no battle or death that wasn't far off. Just the fire and pushing away the harshness of battle. His mother would never have approved and nor would his life style support such cowardice emotion. What was the point such things didn't benefit him. He'd keep that in mind as he shoved down deep away into the back of his head. In the areas he did not dare look back on. tariph(ooc: I went ahead and made it. Wanted a excuse to find his sword xD )

[PL: 3,850]
After constantly fighting animals for food and territory in the jungle and loafing in the city, Tariph felt a change of scenery was in order, least the obvious rut she was in became too stale to be enjoyable, even for someone as easily placated as herself. Her adoptive parents didn't put up much of a fuss - or at least she thinks they didn't. She's developed a steady habit of tuning them out when they start nagging - before she set out weeks ago with a backpack full of clothes, strange fruit, water bottles, and her pony-sized wolf, Wocane. She hadn't realized how different traveling was until overly abundant material wasn't everywhere, the petty thieves weren't something she was expecting either, but she was a fast learner with a good amount of street smarts. The halfling would admit, after getting the hang of things she kind of liked the nomadic life, getting completely lost and refusing to use a map (because she can't read maps) added to the fun. Mix that with aimless wandering and you end up in all sorts of interesting places.
Now she was in another desert, not really lost... okay, kind of lost, but she knows where she's going when she can see the stars. Throughout the day she hadn't done much more than walk and search for a rare oasis, knowing it was better to use the natural water than waste bottles unneeded. Wocane was displaying a strong sense of hate for desserts; too hot, sand trapped in his fur and making the spaces between his paws gritty and uncomfortable. Licking only made the sensation worse. At night it was too cold, most of the animals were too small to truly satisfy him and Tariph beyond a barely sufficient fill that satisfied their bodies enough to keep their stomachs from eating their bodies from the inside out. Tariph, on the other hand, seemed to enjoy these places; even seemed to get a kick out of the marriages that tricked them, seeing it as the world playing a prank. The world had a twisted sense of humor that she couldn't help but laugh along with, even when she was at the sharp end of the joke. The strange patches of forest that cropped up out of nowhere, hogging water from the rest of the area where it would only go unappreciated and dry out, were also fascinating to her.
If it weren't for her Wocane wouldn't go anywhere near these places and they both knew it. Still, there was a strange air of mischief and contentment with that knowledge, it kept the feeling of adventure alive for the both of them. A strange, sort of mutual appreciation for the land neither would feel were they on their own.
When night fell once again the half Saiyan was on her pet's back, keeping a lookout for any sign of bandits and food while her walking staff hung over her shoulders. There was a little bag tied at the end behind her back that held a few sweets she definitely did not steal from the last town she walked through. She can prove she didn't by the fact that no one can prove that she did. Now seeing as her kleptomaniac antics don't have much of place here for the moment, so we'll forget about that for now. Even though she is tempted to eat one of those snack right about now.
The large wolf underneath her paused and scented the air at the same time his rider let out a rather loud yawn, "What is i-? Woah! Will it kill you to give me a warning?" Wocane was galloping in the direction of a smell, the smell of the sweet death that may as well had been dinner bells for all he was concerned. Soon Tariph caught wind of it too, but couldn't fully enjoy it as her body alerted her that she was incapable of eating the current dead without suffering some kind of consequence. Once they reached the first dead body, she realized the consequence would have only been... guilt for eating a human. Damn her family for raising her with those non-cannibalistic morals! She was hungry! And the dire wolf beneath her wasn't helping when he was ripping into the nearest corpse and making her mouth water at the sound of flesh being stripped away from its body.
The halfling whacked her pet over the head to get his attention, "Stop that! We have to see where this trail ends." No, they don't, she just wants to see if the thing that made this mess was still around and willing to share food. Or at the very least killed something that wasn't human along the way. They both knew this fact and that's why Wocane started whining and squirming but not leaving the corpse, "Okay, you can drag along one of them, I don't care. Let's just go!" She was whining herself on that last part but the wolf wasn't one to judge. Instead, he trotted over to the nearest corpse that was bigger than the rest and marched down the bloody path with his tail held high and his posture that of one who got a minor yet fulfilling victory.
Sadly, none of the corpses weren't human, though there were plenty of animal-humans that Tariph wasn't sure if she had any moral pretenses about eating them. She eventually came up with a no but the two were already setting course for a distant fire. They smelled it before they saw it, as first just a distant glow before they made out a dark figure and the even darker one burning in the first. Both of them recognized the smell as a burning wolf, and even though Tariph's best and currently only friend was a wolf, she held no pretenses against eating them. Because hers isn't stupid, it just couldn't talk. As far as she knows. He probably doesn't.
She forced herself to stop thinking about that and to the distant figure, deciding to slide off her steed so the guy willing to kill that many people wouldn't think some mutant animal was coming after him. She walked ahead of her companion, a bit of a distance away so their silhouettes could be distinguishable in with the distance. Once she could see him Tariph raised her hand in greeting, "Hey!"
Is...
Is his tail blue?
What the hell?
Yes, she is more conserned with the blue tail than all the dead bodies. It's called priorities, people.

The blood stains on his body were rousing the smell of metallic coppery scent through the air. His sword resting at his side the sand under him as he rested before the fire. The roasting beast over the fire giving off a fine scent of burning meat now as the fire caressed the carcass. The dark blood mixing with his blue looked odd in the feint light. He'd sneer lightly at the greeting. He'd noticed faintly the approach. He hadn't the skills to sense people so he had to rely on his senses more then anything else. The shadowy figure that approached a little worrisome but it didn't attack. So perhaps just someone who lost their way. His blue tail wrapped around his waist slowly wiggling at his waist.
He'd peer over his side looking towards the creature that came fourth. His eyes looking through the darkness as well at the beast she had with her. Remember killing something similar to it not long ago. His jaw tightened a bit for a moment wondering if she here for danger or just lost truly. So many fights had stirred since he arrived on this little dirt ball that he thought would have been a welcome escape. His heart beat fast and his body was tensing from head to two even if he appeared calm in his gaze. It was a sensation that at times washed over someone who'd recently taken life. "A girl and her beast so far from home.... Wandering in a desert where many a dead man lay. Have you gotten lost lassie? I don't know if you want to stay around this area. There's some not so friendly animal folks roaming around. Or do you like the dangerous line of living do ya?" He'd say in a chuckle smiling at her with aqua eyes that seemed to pierce the night. Sizing her up a little. He thought it was a woman at least hard to tell in the dark. He'd recently killed but didn't often attack outright at women or children. He wouldn't attack those weaker then him but telling at first sight was hard to tell.
He'd reach a hand out gripping at a bone sticking out of the creature that in size and slight shape mimicked the body of the wolf she had. Perhaps a similar species. The meat would make a tearing sound as it tore from the flesh of the skinned hulking creature. The fire crackling and popping as the blue Brenchian saiyan tore a piece off with his teeth chewing it carefully keeping those hunters eyes on the woman. "Before you come out of the darkness.... You're not some elite status type or a android are you lass? Those keep popping up lately to ruin my fun..." Thinking how often on this planet such bad fortune kept falling on him. Part of him not sure if to be friendly on guard. His arm closest to his sword had a shiver in the bone. It didn't move but it was ready at a seconds notice to grip the blade. He also hoped perhaps the fact he was stained in blood so close to a plethora of corpses perhaps it would have drained the idea of a fight of this one if it ever was there to begin with.

The young Half-Saiyan's mouth tingled from the smells covering the camp as her mouth produced excess saliva. It was hard for her to keep from drooling while her stomach cramped as the smell of cooking meat; hell, she'd go back and eat the animal-human hybrids raw right now if that fire wasn't closer to where her feet were currently planted. Next to her the oversized wolf took a few steps back from the cooking remains of a species too close to his own for his liking before settling in the sand with the body he dragged along. Between the two tearing through the flesh of their meals; Tariph hated them both. Her stomach hated them most of all. "You know you're giving off a riddler vibe, yeah? Anyway, I'm not lost." Liar.
She dragged her staff across the sand idly, disturbing trace amounts of blood that managed to clot enough to prevent being absorbed by the ever-shifting grounds, "I'm also not an elite anything; just, you know, out getting a change of scenery. Seeing what the world has to offer and whatever other poetic crap you'd read in an adventure novel." She walked into the light so he could see her, even if Docane wasn't enraptured by his food he wasn't going to set foot anywhere near that fire, "I've only come around your camp for a bite to eat, and as much as I'd love eating the parts of the corpse trail that isn't entirely human," She's not being sarcastic, she really does want to eat them, "I wanted to see if you'd share the dumb animal that's already cooked." From the darkness her pet snarled at her, she turned her head in his direction, "I didn't call you dumb; I was talking about the wolf dumb enough to get itself skinned and roasted!"
The wolf huffed back in response and the hybrid leaned on her staff, giving her attention back to the dangerous stranger before her, "Almost forgot to say, I'm Tariph and he's Docane. You alright with sharing a pound of flesh, eh, please?" When Tariph thinks about it, her speech adapts too well to the last group she's been around. The way she was phrasing certain sentences was getting on her nerves.

He'd rip another hunk of flesh from the bone yanking meat to to his lips and chewing it away with ease. A saiyan set of teeth made for ripping through flesh of many races. It was cooked fine a little burnt on the outside but fair enough for something roasted over a fire in such a simple and modern manner. He raised a brow not understanding what she meant. Did he speak in riddles? He was aware he gave odd impressions when he spoke sometimes as a few had told him prior. But she said she wasn't lost and of that he didn't believe. "Oh yes cause the frigid temperatures the desert night can reach are completely wondrous for a stroll are they not?" Being sarcastic as the night did keep bringing large drops in the heat to chill. He was fine near a fire with his wet blood stained clothes and watery fluid on his skin. He had trained damn near raised in the glacier belt of Arcose. Cold of this variety wasn't something he'd even notice. the fire more then enough of a added luxury to forget it was even present.
She had a walking stick a crude weapon perhaps but hard to tell. She spoke of finding a change of scenery which in turn he thought of how to mock and tease but... That was the reason he was here as well. Escaping the cities for awhile after some of those battles. It even made him crack a small smile. A drifter and wandering soul looking for freedom and a new scenery. "It is a tad more peaceful out here in the sands. Tends to keep away some of the folks in the cities you take offense to any destruction or chaos. They can be a wee bit touchy you know. " Pausing for a moment. "Although unless your into some strange things I'd say a wolf escort doesn't exactly bold well enough for a romantic wandering novel." although it was most likely the two's definition of romance were exceptionally different. As the last 'romantic' thing he'd recall was involving after a fight and skills making a impact of impressive impression. Which drew in better impression later with intimate technique conversation. Heh. So she came looking for food though he'd say hearing her speak.
Clearly hinting at it before speaking more directly. The wolf she had displeased with her words and perhaps the carcass as well. It was chewing at something although when he realized what it seemed they had followed his trail. For certain with what it was. Although he hadn't really the worry of a little shared meat. He'd only really killed it for a excuse to rest and build fire for the night. "Do as you wish, I've no intent to eat it all anyway. Your friend doesn't seem to favor it. Does it understand you? You seem as if you communicate with it?" Raising a brow taking in their names trying to commit them to mind. He would recline lightly against the rock behind him giving her glances occasionally when not looking into the fire that cracked and popped as it burned away at the fuel. "Tariph, Docane, So you named it as well. You aren't what I really expected to come wandering up from the desert winds. If you are eating my kill you could perhaps be a little more clear on why you are really wondering the desert? It doesn't seem the most 'romantic novel' like place to be wondering as you said. Its hot in the day freezing at night and filled with hundreds of things that would rather kill you then see you part ways with them." She could be interesting. She wasn't bad to look at and the wolf seemed calm enough for the time but his sword was near should things array. For now he just remained relaxed and calm curious of the traveler and what stories she might have to tell. "I'm Jarvis by the way..."

Tariph shrugged at the mention of temperature, when it gets too cold she normally just uses Docane as a living blanket until sunrise, and now she considered herself used to the chill enough to not require curling into a ball. In fact, she liked to consider herself pretty adaptable in most environments so long as the change isn't that extreme from what she's used to. Still, she grinned, "Might not be the best for a stroll but it's lovely when you're searching for a bite to eat." Her eyes went back to the fire and seemed to hold her attention long enough that she missed part of what the blue haired man was saying. More focused on the thought of maybe dragging one of the corpses on the fire after the wolf was done with if he let her stay at least. It had been a long time since she'd eaten a canine, something reminded her she had a good reason not to eat slightly different variations of her own freaking pet but she didn't care too much about the morality involved with eating an animal that she couldn't care less about aside from how fast she could kill it and how good it tastes once it stopped moving. She gave up trying to eat things while they were still kicking, nothing tasted as good raw as when they're cooked. Maybe a little burnt. Sometimes completely burnt, that's when she knows it shouldn't taste good but somehow manages to be.
Her eyes snapped back to the stranger once she felt something start sliding down her chin, it took a moment to realize she was drooling before she wiped it away with the arm of her sleeve. Tariph stood there for a moment, going over the last bit of what he said after her mind's race to catch up with the present. It was something about a novel and then permission to eat. Immediately the halfling sat next to the fire with the staff held in her tail, pulled back her sleeves, and plunged both hands into the inferno. A moment later the lower half of the beast's leg was on her lap and she was blowing on her arms to cool them like a moron she is. She's not much of a thinker when it comes to food, it seems.
She tore a large chunk off once the burning sensation had subsided, taking a few minutes -choking was a very real concern at the time- before saying anything after Jarvis finished speaking, "I don't know where you got that romance idea from, I said adventure." Now she was talking with her mouth full, "Any-way, er, Jarvish? -We're j-sht ou' here-" Tariph started pounding on her chest as she swallowed roughly, "To get out and see things. You know, doing things, going places, maybe swipe something shiny when no one's looking; who needs a reason for that?" She took a smaller bite this time, "Plus things trying to kill us makes it even more fun." She turned to the shadow masked wolf, "Right Wocane?" The faintly seen shadow stood up and jerked its head forward, Tariph ducked before the rib bone could hit her and turned back to the other half-blood, "See, he's into it too." This time a leg bone hit the back of her head; she turned back to face her pet with the roasted leg pointed at his direction, "I will eat you!" His teeth clamped down with an audible snap before curling back up in the sand with his dinner.
"Yep, he understands just fine." She tossed the bones back into the surrounding darkness, "So what're you doing out here? No, wait, let me guess first: You're just killing anyone who annoys you enough to get their blood spilled all over the sand? Or you're hiding from someone? Or you're trying to find the dragon balls. Actually, that last one's a pretty valid reason to be out here, I should do that..." She trailed off, now in semi-deep thought of what she'd do with a wish from a genie dragon. Maybe she should wish Docane could talk... or wish she was a dragon! No, wish she could turn into a huge dragon whenever she wants. That would be awesome!

She did have a point at first the desert was home to some interesting foods and beasts for food. Where many saw death and empty sands others could find food and creatures that could from the most delicious of delicacies. The beast one he found while looking for other such meals. A favored kill of another hunter so it was a strong meat worth devouring. "You must be a skilled hunter. To actually be able to find food in such a place as well I take it?" He'd throw his head back laughing watching this one drooling over herself as she took to the food clearly hungry. But it was humorous to see one covered in spittle just for a little roasted wolf.
He'd not comment on her crude way of attaining said meat but kept laughing all the same as she quickly tried to cool arms damn near plunging them into the flame and burning them. He'd chuckle as it tapered off clearly enjoying the way she spoke nearly choking herself. She was a... colorful character to say the least. The unusually sorts but he liked that all the same. "I can understand feeling about to see the worlds. A little battle isn't bad now and again although I prefer to choose my battles carefully when my temper doesn't get me into trouble." He'd say slowly finishing the meat he had himself. Pulling bits from bone but chewing slowly and with his mouth closed. Even if it was campfire cooking and food he'd be with somewhat manners. Raised carefully by his mother back on Arcose to be well mannered. Somethings just stuck you I suppose. Sharing a fire with a fellow traveler or a meal wasn't too bad. Polite and kind as she was he saw little harm in it. Better then only the lonely black of night to deal with.
However something did catch his ear when she went about asking questions. Curious on his own reasons for being out this far in the sands. In truth it was just a welcome retreat from the city to be away from earths major population and the stronger powers that be and protect it. But he had various reasons as well but for the moment he just found himself with a curious inkling giving her a smirk as he'd speak in a curious and kind tone. "I didn't come expecting a fight... The bandits merely picked it of their own accord and I obliged them. They had only themselves to blame... and If I am on the run I am not aware who would be chasing. I am no wanted on this planet I believe. At least not yet!" ending with a chuckle before resuming. "What are these dragon balls? Is there something of worth in these deserts? Some sort of gem nickname I suppose?"

Tariph returned to wolfing down her chunk of meat while the man talked, manners were never really her thing. People have tried, namely her adoptive parents, but it never stuck and were probably made worse by the fact that she spent most of her time surrounded by wild animals. Kinda need to finish your food fast unless you wanted something bigger than what you just killed trying to steal your catch. Kami forbid they came in groups. Her eyes slowly shifted down in a concentrated effort to fish the last bits of meat between joints before her wandering attention was pulled back to the blue haired man's question, "You've never heard of the Dragon Balls? Huh, weird. Usually most people at least hear little kid stories about them." Instead of putting her hand in an inferno again, Tariph pulled one of the cooked wolf's legs toward the open air with the cleaner end of her staff, "They're like, sorta... Genie lamps, I guess?" She hummed to herself trying to remember how they actually worked.
"It's probably just another weird myth, but from what I know there's seven balls scattered around the planet and you put them together, summon a dragon, and get a wish. At least that's the jist of it." She pulled the leg off and kept herself from taking huge bites, the only reason being that she was going to choke if she kept trying to talk with her mouth that full, "There's also some stuff about being made by a demon slug alien? And I think they have a time limit, but don't quote me on that/ I also heard they look like normal stones until someone finds it, then it turns orange and something glows inside of it? I think it was a star of a circle or a number, something like that." she shrugged, "Just some myth, I guess. I've heard those green guys from Namek actually know what those things do and look like. I just know you get a wish, or three, probably, if you manage to collect them all."
Before her thoughts drifted back to what she'd wish for, the halfling snapped her fingers "Hey, you didn't tell me why you were out here, you just debunked my guesses." She honestly could care less but she was in a good enough mood to want to hear about it.

He remained still resting his back against the rock sword by his side. The warmth of the fire relaxing and keeping him from being over worked up. Although he almost snickered at this strange myth the women spoke of. Chasing dragon balls for wishes or desires. Orange orbs as well as a few variations it seemed. Sounded like a big story and nothing to him. The different variations and light differences in points made him think it was likely one of those stories you merely heard passed from lip to lip a little bit changing often. Although it was something worth looking into perhaps. Either for to see any truth in it. Or money to be had finding such a thing even if false. They'd likely be worth a ton of cash and trade to those who would believe such fever dream nonsense.
He did notice as well she sure wasn't shy with her appetite. Between the legends and her table manners he wondered if the girl was perhaps a bit daft. She was pretty enough but sometimes that didn't stop them from being soft in the had just a tad. "Sounds like stories to me lass. Mere stories, The kind people go chasing around and find themselves with little more then a wasted life and broken dreams. Not da kinda ting I'd be wasting me time on without a bit more evidence." He'd say with a clear sign of disbelief in it. His blue eyes looking hte girl over considering how to answer what she asked as well.
"Well.. Lets just say I may have gotten me self into a wee bit of trouble down in south city and various other places. I don't always play well wit other as you might be able to tell from da bandits not far down the road. Maybe I thought there'd be some quiet privacy and respite out in these silent parts. I can sure tell ya I didn't expect a lassie to wonder up with her wolf that's for sure. Is you really alone? Ya ain't got no friends trying to make a sneak do ya? Da desserts a dangerous place after all to be traveling alone girlie." Truth be told he was curious of others. He would have hated to go through another scrap so soon. His eyes peering to the wolf now and again. Then back to the girl seeing a female in view although making him think about returning to west city. After all there were certain things you couldn't get in the desert.

Tariph raised an eyebrow at him, then shrugged after he finished speaking. Did his accent change all of a sudden? Meh, if anything was going on with that, not her problem, "Course it's just a story, I got all that from stuff I heard as a kid." She's starting to think the blue haired man has some kind of hearing problem, "Anyway, all you gotta do is pick up the right book to know those things aren't even on this planet, someone probably just found out about them and spread a myth that they were on Earth too. Would explain why a demon slug made them instead of someone from Namek, and then I heard they don't even last forever anyway, not sure what the time limit's based off, though..." She waved her hand dismissively "But if they ever existed, long gone at this point, fun to thinking about getting a free wish though." She will manage her dream of becoming a dragon one day, though, one day... She'll probably just learn to shapeshift.
The half-blood looked a little offended at being questioned on how well she could handle herself, "Hey, I've managed in worse places than this before; hell, sometimes I have to handle things while that sack of fur over there finds a place to hide." Another bone flew at her but it landed shy of her leg, "Don't be a baby, it's true and you know it." Wocane's response to that was to turn his back to the both of them with an audible huff. Tariph turned her attention back to Jarvis "Honestly, do I look weak enough to run with some kind of gang? If I wanted something from you I'd have made Wocane surprise you from behind and snatch the first thing light enough for us to carry." She's done that before, mainly to campers. The wolf's ear was twitching in irritation from a distance, the blue guy just made it so there was no way Tariph was asking him for directions, just his luck that the first person she was willing to talk to out here had to go and insult her.
For a moment her tail was starting to kick up sand, then latched around her staff to start coiling and uncoiling. Even if her irritation wasn't visible with the rest of her body language, her tail decided to be a big giveaway on that front. Either way, she's gone back to eating and it didn't look like she was planning to say anything to the blue haired stranger. One reason being that she didn't want to start a fight in the middle of the night and in a place that would trap sand in every crevice of her body, another reason being that he insulted her pride so she's in 'screw that guy' mode.

He'd feel a little snicker at the thought smiling with a curved grin keeping his blue hues to the fire rather then her. Drawing in a heavy breath. "An I'm sure he'd fare as well as da beasty on the fire there too. Although personally I tend to try not and spill no blood unless reason warrants. Or someone throws a bit of coin me way for it. But then again. I have noticed dem androids and hero types are in large number in the cities. People love to be the hero and stand out in a crowd." He'd reach to a pouch on his belt pulling out a human rolled cigar and placing between his lips. Lighting it with a metal lighter with a flick the flame lit and was gone. Embers lighting up at the end of the the thing as a bit of smoke bellowed past his lips. He began licking those lips wishing for a drink and something other then meat to satisfy him. "So many wishes one could have I bet...." Looking up to the sky drawing in a deep breath as the cigar hung from his lips. The ember lightly bright in the black of the night. Keeping his eyes on stars alone. "You know... Back on Arcose. I bet such legends would be right cheery for dem to hear. I wonder what the ones in power back home would tink. Or maybe them bastard apes... Pardon me language. On da planet of me father. Never knew him though just what he was. Guess you can call me a bastard in all forms ya know. I bet such things as these dragon balls would sell for a high dollar to the right hands of leaders." Storing a bit of the idea to the back of his head. Just encase such ideas came up again in the future or any hint of truth in the legends he'd heard.
He'd pull the thing from his lips and send up a few smoke circles into the air in deep puffs. Before placing it back to his lips breathing it in as if it was sweet in flavor and desirable. His saiyan Brenchian body could take things internally that would mangle the organs of some races. Things to ease the troubled nights and days. It was almost fun sometimes seeing how far one could push that kind of body. "If ya don't mind me askin. I can see da tail on ya. So you ever been to the planet of our people? Well half of me people. I bet there's all sorts of neat little treasures lying around from all the conquering and conquests waiting for a chance to be stolen." He'd say as he'd stand up stretching as he did the blood covering him still dry as he'd reach down to sheath his blade on the sheath at his back. "If only this planet had offered me da opportunities I'd hoped it would. Almost makes me miss Arcose... Almost." He'd say thinking of home. The freezing glacier belt he'd lived in for a time. His mother in the more livable capitol area. It was nice there at least. Wondering if she was alive or even wondered of him. He'd not been home for a long time now at least not near any of his relatives. He dodged her and what few others he knew of when on that planet. Guess it just didn't fit right with him given how he left all them years ago.
He just wanted to live now... be free and see different planets. Make his money and find some place to call his own one day. Perhaps a rank and stature. Being a half blood with saiyan in you didn't help make friends in Arcosian controlled space. "Damn Frost demons..." He'd say in a whisper to himself at the though of most of em. Only a few he ever favored. Thinking on it as he tried to finish his cigar. Considering parting from the pretty girl. People on this planet liked to act tough and he didn't favor fight women unless they were the especially tough variety. And even then it was a bit of a unlikable thing to him. Some part of him wished it was easier to get alone with folks. Make friends like so many others do day to day. Maybe it was his saiyan genes that made him say what he'd say... or the Brenchian in him that had its own pride and mannered way of seeing saiyans. Or maybe being raised told your a second class type of person was it. Either way he'd ponder it taking a final drag as the ember glowed in the night.

Tariph was only giving him half her attention now, already she'd lost a good amount of interest in the man. Actually, anyone paying attention would see she's only sticking around to finish off the beast in the fire, Which she's actually doing a better job of now that she's stopped talking, Saiyan hunger could be a pain sometimes, and now was not one of those times. To show she was still, mostly, listening she would give Jarvis a shrug or hum every few sentences- and no she wasn't processing a thing he said after the bastard ape comment. She didn't tune him out on purpose, she's just developed a habit of tuning people out at certain phrases automatically. She honestly could care less about Saiyans or Vegeta, she knew she would probably be treated worse there than she was on Earth considering her half-blood status and her low power-level, but those thoughts weren't even on the forefront of her mind as she tore into the body that sat on a now low fire that cast darker shadows on both their faces than it did previously. There was a reason it had gotten so low from the time she grabbed that leg to now; the corpse's blood had started putting the inferno out. Which was pretty good for Tariph, knowing she'd have to purposely put a limb in that low fire to burn herself.
While cleaning off one of the now many bones scattered over the sand, her mind did drift to that thing he said about killing things. She knew she should have just been paying attention to what he was saying now but couldn't find a reason to go farther than look at him with eyes that gave off very dull interest, interest that's only there because the guy is freaking blue. That oddity aside, she was pretty sure most things were more concerned with pain than actually being dead. She did, at least, what was so bad about being dead anyway? Obviously those bandits had the same idea when they decided to keep attacking a guy littering the sand with their friend's bodies... or maybe they were all just really stupid, one of those two reasons, maybe both of them. Tariph didn't seem to have the ability to empathize with anything, it seemed like. Really there was a good chance Wocane was only alive today because she labeled him her property for the reason that she was a social creature that didn't like being around the majority of people for longer than necessary. The always seemed to find a way to piss her off her make her think about things that hurt her head. Sometimes both. Shrugging at the thoughts that faded from her mind as quickly as they appeared, Tariph stood up and stretch, her clothing bloody from the way she was eating but would end up fading to the point of being unnoticeable on the black surface.
"Well it's been fun but we're gonna head out, see ya. Let's go Wocane." She walked over to the overgrown wolf on the ground who hadn't moved after her call, "Come on." She frowned and started prodding his back with her stick. He lifted his head to look at her, then yawned and put his head between his paws, "Why you lazy son of a bitch." He gave her a look that she read as 'obviously', "Shut up, smart ass." She kicked his side and he snapped at her ankle before reluctantly climbing to his feet and letting Tariph hop on his back, "We're out!" She called out to no one, probably just doing that for the faint echo effect, before they walked past Jarvis' camp and into the awaiting darkness, heading north which Wocane really hopped lead somewhere that was free of sand. Tariph started scratching behind his ear, forcing the wolf to partially forget his frustration in favor of the lovely sensation on his head. The strange pair continued on their way until far out of sight and exhaustion forced them to stop and sleep. Too bad Tariph didn't ask for directions, because they were really lost right now.

He'd give a simple nod and a brush of his hand as if waving them off when it came time for the girl to leave. He had no problem sharing food now and again with a hungry belly that needed a good meal. It wasn't like a hunter was that hard to track down. Stretching and looking to the skies a bit more after they were gone drawing in a deep breath of the cold night air. It felt relaxing in the cold desert night. The chill in the air was nice as the breeze he could feel the further he got from the fire. He'd leave it burn as he made his own way off in the opposite direction Tariph went. Leaving it for anyone who wondered by to find. There wasn't anything that could spread from the fire so it was no danger to simply leave it.
He'd continue one the sand beneath his boots as he'd walk towards the night into the darkness only lit up lightly from the twinkling stars above. He would find some form of water somewhere deep in the desert. He was sure a Oasis had to be somewhere out here. So before dawn he'd find a watery spot to bathe the blood from his body. An a relaxing place to sleep after the cool waters would clean him. Shooting to the skies in flight to help him in his search. Wondering if he'd stumble across this woman again anytime soon.
