It was a peaceful morning when the first day surrounding the construction of the secret project known as the 'Avalon' had begun. Because of Reikiko's condition it was decided that the little girl would always end up being accompanied, either by Scargot or Hikari. In the end the girl was almost defenseless, and while she might had made some valuable allies, she had made just as many enemies in her past. When the two arrived at the site where the island was being build a pleasant surprise awaited them. Countless scientists and fellow members of the Blue Banner Army had listened to her rally for aid, their fondness for the little girl who had once been, and still was their 'Chimera' having motivated them to work. The site itself looked quite amazing in all honesty, a titanic piece of land had been raised above the ground, and while they took a flight on a shuttle toward the top of this land a sight unlike any other awaited them. It was as if a true island had been created, the sight of trees, small rivers and even a lake flowing along the landscape. It was beautiful, truly a place benefiting of the name 'paradise'.
After the shuttle landed near the outskirts of the island Hikari stepped out of the vehicle alongside her companion. After that rather odd encounter involving Kaura there had been a small but remarkable change in the girl's condition. While she seemed to lack the ability to communicate verbally, the child had seemed to had regained a certain sense of awareness. Whether this meant she was recovering from her condition, or a temporary thing was uncertain, but Reikiko seemed to had gained a certain sort of independence. After she had released the child's hand Hikari watched Reikiko make several steps that reminded her of the waddling of a duck before she turned around and looked up at her, causing Hikari to blink in confusion.
"..."
What was the girl trying to tell her? Despite that silent stare the child had turned her head sideways, a hint of confusion upon her expression, and for a moment Hikari couldn't help but wonder whether Reikiko was curious about something. Perhaps it was related to the creation of this island? In the end she had not told the child about it yet, and now that they were in a foreign location it would be very likely that Reikiko was confused about the reason she had been taken here.
"Oh, you're wondering about why we are here?"
Hikari smiled happily when the child nodded her head lightly in response, something that made the hybrid believe that with the fact Reikiko had been steadily regaining the means to react to things around her, it must had also been a sign that the girl would someday perhaps even recover her memories! But then again, in the back of her mind Hikari couldn't help but wonder whether that would be a good thing or not. Surely she might had remembered her on that day, but what about all the darker memories the girl possessed?
"This island is a special project of us Reikiko. Me, your father and several friends of yours have been working on creating this place for you. You know, in the past there was once a story that said that Kami-sama made a paradise on earth where the most heroic, wisest and kindest of souls were allowed to dwell after they fulfilled their duty. It is our desire to replicate this legend. To make a paradise for you to live in, free and away from the chaos and darkness of reality. A place where you can dwell forever and be free from the thoughts that plagued you."
The child seemed slightly bewildered by the comment, and yet when Hikari started walking, passing the child Reikiko followed in her footsteps. The two of them started walking toward the more centralized area of the island, and the further inwards they went the more the landscape became filled with the scenery of what might had been a forest.
"It's also a place where you can be with your friends, without having to worry about outside conflicts. We want it to become a paradise for you Reikiko, not just for you but also for those around you. That is the purpose of this island that will one day float in the air like a heavenly paradise."
She finally came to a halt at the center of the island, and already as expected the construction of several buildings had begun. The centralized area was meant to become something akin to a social hub, a place where everyone could gather to relax and find various forms of entertainment. From stores to a dormitory and even various places that provided entertainment like karaoke bars, and a 'Ki-ball arena' were being worked on. However, for now it was time for her to wait till a different surprise was about to arrive.
Vipoi had promised her that he would be visiting the island, not just to check up on the hovercraft technology that was being worked on, but also to visit Reikiko. In the end she was still a precious friend of him. Not only Vipoi was going to show up. A call was made both to the BBA and various other social media that told people about the project and its intentions, revealing that the island was being build to provide a safe-haven for those willing to remain free from the struggles of the real world, the conflicts that destroyed lives, but also to help a little girl known as Reikiko from recovering from a terrible condition. The details surrounding Reikiko's health had been kept vague, and plenty of security watched the vital areas of the island, especially the one way that led into the deepest reaches of the island's interior where the hovercraft technology was being made.
"..."
It was the sudden pointing gesture Reikiko made into the air that pulled Hikari out of her thoughts, as she realized someone was approaching.
--- *= This topic is open to anyone willing to 'possibly' help the creation of Avalon and will lead to the construction of the first building of the island. Please try to avoid serious conflicts, because icly several KAOS troops have been assigned to watch over the place.
People will have been alerted in various ways. For example Vipoi would be approached personally, Ninjin might receive a letter etc, but you can assume you are contacted in one way or another (or read the report on the island). Icly the site where the island is being build (it's a huge chunk of land lifted above the ground, but currently is being held in place by pillars and such) somewhere in the Western Frontiers, and one can either fly or take a shuttle to the top.

[*cough cough* Heavy Weights are on *cough cough cough*]
Kaula sighed as she arrived, the young Saiyan girl's tail swaying gently as she glanced around. She had, by this time, finally put her sunglasses back on, having accompanied Rei and Hikari the whooole way there. All stalker like, having followed them straight from the timeless lookout to here. Sure, it was kind of creepy.. But they probably knew she was with them. She had decided to stick near the two, especially after she found out what Hikari was. She was going to demand to learn out what the fuck this.. responsibility was. The word made her a bit sick to the stomach, thinking she'd have to learn how to be responsible with her power. But if that's what it took..
The Saiyan glanced down at an apple she had in her hand, eventually reaching it up to take a nice, big bite into it. She chewed once.. Twice.. "Blehh.." she grumbled out as she swallowed, glancing down at the fruit. How could someone like these, she thought. They just.. Tasted so bad. She went to toss it over her shoulder, acting like she'd just litter in the construction site, but she managed to catch it with her tail as she followed right behind Hikari and Rei. She hadn't known them for long. Like.. Really. Not long at all, maybe a few hours? A day? Who knew. But she decided she'd stick around and help protect the kid. It'd probably end up benefiting her in someway.
Once in the center, her tail tossed the apple up and she caught it in her hand again, "A lot bigger then I thought.." she mumbled to herself, glancing around the area slowly. She eyed the Ki-ball arena before looking at the shops, the apple-holding hand bringing it up to take another bite and then push her sunglasses up her nose some more, just noisily chewing. Saiyans, am I right? "So, is there a place for people to stay or something..?" she asked, "Just wondering.." Seemed she also had a second apple in her other hand. She coughed a bit, offering it to the girl. Not that she cared if she wanted it or not.

[Medium Weights On]
Cipher quietly watched over the construction taking place. With the rebuilding of the Western Capital winding up, Cipher had turned his attention to another project. The Administrator had mentioned that the BBA was diverting its resources to the construction of a floating island. "Avalon" it was called, a nuetral ground for people to live out in peace, away from the conflicts of the world.
Naturally, Cipher wanted to be a part of it. Such a place was sorely needed on this planet, and so here he was, overseeing the island's construction and also to act as security, incase anyone decided to try and disrupt operations.
Porsalynne also accompanied him, wanting to be by his side during this project. Cipher saw no harm, though he made the female android promise that she'd get to cover if any conflicts happened. Right now though, the two of them were sitting down, having a small cup of tea. Porsalynne had insisted.
"It's wonderful, don't you think?" she said with a tender smile, "A floating paradise! I can just imagine how it would look once it's finished." Cipher gave a small smile. "Well, once it's complete, how about we live there? It seems like the perfect place." He could ensure that Porsalynne was safe there, rather than on the Big Blu. The female android's eyes lit up with glee.
"Oh Cipher, that would be wonderful! Thank you!"
Cipher smiled and nodded, before something caught his eye. A shuttle touching down, and aboard it he could sense two familiar power signatures. As the shuttle landed, he saw a familiar face. Ensign Hikari. And the little girl with her, judging by his sensors, was none other than the freshly split Reikiko. There seemed to be another with them as well. Another woman, and judging from the tail, this one was a Saiyan.
Please let this one be civil. He was really getting sick of arrogant and idiotic Saiyans.
Quietly, he rose from his seat. Porsalynne looked confused for a moment before she saw what he was looking at. She rose and followed him as the two approached the pair.
"Ensign Hikari," Cipher greeted as they approached, the pale android giving the woman a formal bow, "You'll be pleased to see construction's on schedule."

[Heavy weight on]
Daiki, wearing his master's dogi with his weighted clothes, was wandering around the world, looking for something to do, which was a pretty good thing for him, he needed fresh air after everything that happened to him, so here he was, flying trought the air like the free will he was, looking deep into the world, seeing its beauty and its flying island. Wait!? Flying island? This is the first time i see this! The saiyan though to himself, seeing the island flying in the air like Scargot's lookout. Daiki felt a bunch of hight power level on it and decided to go and do some social. Well, it sound really interesting, and even if it is wierd, i feel only good power level right here, i thing i can get a pause on that place, it look really sympathetic. The saiyan though landing on the big island, looking around at the beauty of it. He wandered a little on it before seeing the first living one on it beside him.
While walking slowly in the flying beautiful island, Daiki realise he had a big smile on his face, this calm, this silence, this peace, it was reminding him of Namek. Taking a deep breath, his face returned to his innocent looking, with a great feeling of peace obviously showing on his face, he continued to wander lightly toward a living presence he was feeling. Slowly walking toward the said direction, he came in sight of a female, Daiki realise he wasn't alone on this island, it was probably claimed by someone, such beauty wasn't possible on Earth to be free to anyone, human were basically wanting to take everything they wanted, that is why Earth wasn't in a great state now. All those though, all this peace, was this place this powerful, Daiki felt connected to this place, like it was a part of Namek, he felt at home. Slowly coming back to reality, he realise he had to find the owner of this place, to ask if he was allowed to stay here. He jumped toward the woman, landing in front of her at a respectable distance. He looked at her in the eyes, his face showing all of his peace and calm. ''Hello there.'' He simply said to engage a conversation.
He then looked in at the female's aura with his ki-sensing, he saw something not fully human, something he saw in many eyes before, she was half-breed, Daiki could feel it, she was breeded half-saiyan. Feeling the potential of an half-breed was not so hard, they were actually stronger at birth than many of the pure race one. But Daiki didn't had the time to see her as a saiyan, he knew perfectly that half-breed had almost nothing of actual saiyan. ''Sorry for my manner, i'm Daiki, Daiki Iranos, this place is beautiful, do you know who own it? I would like to talk to him or her.'' He said in a calm and friendly voice, showing nothing other than peace with his voice's ton. He then looked around for a bit, there were buildings around, some sort of arenas and shop, nothing serious, look more like an Earthlings festival. This place is too calm, there must be something hidden in their. He though to himself, seeing a little girl and another living thing beside her, this place was populated more than he first felt, probably because he got distracted, the little girl's aura seems familiar and yet Daiki could not see who it was. I could swear i know this aura, but i never saw that girl before... He finally though looking in her direction.

Avalon, the island that one day would float amidst the clouds and become a haven for those desiring to escape from the chaos and conflicts that were seemingly destined to unfold within the world around them. It was also meant to become a paradise for Reikiko, and today... on this particular day the first stage of the island's constructions had been nearing its completion. While the construction work on the island was divided in five sections the central area of the city was about to become the first to reach completion. If there was one thing a community needed then it was to find a means to find luxury and relaxation, but also entertainment. It was for this reason they had decided the central area of the island would be akin to a town. Whether it was visiting the Fill-An-Oozaru, a restaurant that someone wanted to visit for some stylish dining, an McBaos that seemed to be the latest hype among fast-food chains or even just kick back at 'Sing That Song', a Karaoke bar where people could sing along with their favorite tunes. There was even that famous Ki-ball arena that had been invented after Reikiko's insane little game had become a wildfire hit among the people of the planet. Some rumors even said that aliens were getting interested.
Perhaps it was because of the construction being partly finished in this part of the island that Reikiko had found herself accompanying Hikari around the entertainment district. The shuttle the two of them had taken, likely due Reikiko's fondness for those odd floating machines, had just arrived on the outskirts of the island, and once the door opened the two of them left the vehicle. It was odd, but no matter how often she walked the paths toward the island, Hikari always seemed to been able to see something new, but even more exciting to observe was the change in Reikiko's condition. While the girl had yet to speak even a single word after the splitting had unfolded, the fact remained that after her encounter with the female Saiyan Kaula,, the child had started to somewhat change. She became more or less reactive in response to things happening around her, and while at first she seemed unresponsive to anything, as if she had not even been living within the same realm as them, the child had started to slowly recover her mind, as if she had started to become capable of recognizing things that were happening at her surroundings.
"Don't go too far now Rei~"
Hikari's cheerful voice was replied to with a sudden spin of the child's body, turning around to make a light nod toward her before she ran into the direction of a collection of trees, judging from the excited pace in her steps likely having spotted something. Still, even with all that had been going Hikari had several other people to address. The first one was Kaula, the female Saiyan who had briefly asked a question, one that was fairly simple to answer.
"While currently the building isn't finished yet, we have plans for a dormitory for Reikiko's friends and acquaintances and several lodgment options for visitors."
When Reikiko returned from the forest she stopped right before Kaula, seemingly having her attention drawn by the fruit that was being offered. For a moment the gaze shifted from Kaula's face toward the apple and back again in several repetitions before she raised her arms upwards, gently scooping the apple out of Kaula's hands and after a moment of consideration the child smiled brightly, making a light bowing gesture as if she was trying to express her gratitude, before darting off into the direction Hikari had been at.
The approaching Blue Banner Member known as Cipher and his female companion had approached them, and she vividly recalled how Vipoi had told her they were part of the staff who had been the first to volunteer for lending a hand with the island's construction. It was rather refreshing to see such helpful and kind attitude, so she couldn't help but smile at the arrival of the duo.
"Just Hikari is fine Cipher, I am currently merely Reikiko's caretaker. Rank and title doesn't really mean anything on Avalon's soil. Either way, a pleasure to see you again Cipher, and that must be your companion. Porsalynne right? I recall a lot of the younger Blue Banner Army members talking about you. Seems you need to be careful Cipher, your girlfriend is getting a fan club already."
She giggled for a moment, but her smile faded into a look of concern when she saw a familiar man nearby. While she had never met him in person, the name she had overheard and the live feedback from the siege on West Capitol told her who this man was. Still, little did she think that there could be such a case of misfortune when Reikiko had somehow stopped before Daiki, standing beside him and Kaula before suddenly turning her head upwards to look at him. One look from the man's face went down toward the apple and repeated itself once more before the child raised her hands into the air, seemingly attempting to give the apple to the male Saiyan.
"Reikiko, you shouldn't give a present from one person to another."
Hikari's gentle voice came from nearby as she approached the duo, inwardly feeling a bit nervous. Even if she had recently became able to become a Super Saiyan, she knew she would likely be no match for a warrior like Daiki who had trained every day.
"Turtle Master Daiki Iranos I presume? A pleasure to meet you, my name is Tsukino Hikari, one of the three leaders of the Avalon project. While this is our first time meeting, my resources have told me that you likely know the remaining two leaders. Administrator Azure, or Vipoi the leader of the Blue Banner Army, and finally... this child's father... The Namekian known as Scargot, or more properly addressed as Kami-sama."
She bowed lightly in a greeting, while her eyes shifted to Reikiko, whose small arms were still lifted in the air, the apple raised in his direction while an innocent smile beamed on her face. To think the child would have offered one of her most beloved treasures to someone who had once held a deep grudge toward her, perhaps one could assume this was part of what Reikiko's true nature had been? Or at least could have been if the darkness of her existence and ascension had not corrupted her.
-While we're still waiting on a few people it won't be any harm to get a conversation started-

*CRUNCH*
Kaula took another bite out of her apple, slowly chewing it as she stared at the new arrivals through her sunglasses. The Saiyan's eyes narrowed, unseen, as she looked towards Daiki, her head tilted slowly. Was he talking to her? She barely paid any attention. The Saiyan girl just started to toss the half-eaten apple between her hands a few times before she pointed towards the girl to answer the male Saiyan's question. Seemed she thought that the island was all for the little girl. She would have remained silent, watching Reikiko, thinking to herself.. If the child didn't try to give away the apple she gave her. "Fine. Didn't.. Want to give it to you earlier anyway.." she grumbled out, being a pouty Saiyan.
Her eyes moved from the turtle-master by the name of Daiki, kind of wondering what that title exactly was (she wasn't hip with all this earth-land lingo), towards the other two that were here. One was named Cipher. She didn't really know, or care, what the other one was. Some might call her unsocial.. But she didn't really care. She went to move a little bit away to lean up against one of the unfinished buildings, her arms crossing again.

Cipher couldn't help but give a small smile, and Porsalynne was just beaming when she heard about her little 'fan club' amongst the BBA. Why wouldn't there be? Porsalynne was kind, thoughtful, not to mention beautiful. He almost felt a tinge of pride, rather than jealousy. Porsalynne gently wrapped an arm around his, resting her head on his shoulder with a satisfied smile. The female android looked down at the young Reikiko. It was just surprising to see her like this, especially since he was used to seeing her as a bio android, and significantly more powerful than himself. Now, Cipher was the stronger one, though not by much.
Then another energy signature registered in his mind. One that made him tense up. His eyes fell on the new arrival, none other than Daiki, a master from the Turtle School.
He knew Daiki was a good man at heart, only wanting to protect people, but he also knew of the man's hatred of the BBA, as well as his hatred of Reikiko. He feared of what Daiki would do when he learned the BBA was a part of the construction of Avalon. He didn't see the saiyan as the type to simply ignore that little factor. What's worse, his power had grown drastically, and he had heard he had obtained the transformation known as the "Super Saiyan". What would happen if Daiki decided that this place was just an evil BBA plot or something.
When Reikiko approached them, offering Daiki and apple, and when Hikari mentioned the Administrator to him, Cipher's eyes widened in mild panic. He was about to walk over there when Porsalynne beat him to it. She gently touched his shoulder to help the android relax as she calmly walked over to them. She gave Daiki a warm smile.
"It's good to see you again Daiki," she said with a friendly tone, "I hope you're well." Though he knew Daiki wouldn't do anything rash, Cipher still remained tense. He had almost lost Porsalynne when that demon attacked, he didn't want to risk losing her here.

Daiki saw there was a lot more people than he sense, this place was too peaceful indeed, many people hided from him, but he couldn't sense any evil in all those people, the first person that came to him was a little girl, a cute little girl with silver hair, looking at him like she remember him somehow, yes, Daiki felt that this aura wasn't fully unknown to him, but he knew he never saw her of his life. The little girl and Daiki looked at each other in the eyes, they both had the same feeling right now, 'who is that person i know' kind of feeling. She raised her hand and offered Daiki an apple, she was gentle, cute, and probably the total opposite of.... Daiki heard the other person before her call her name... Reikiko... Daiki's mind went in panic, did she tricked him? Was he right in a trap? Was it possible? Daiki's ki sensing grown and looked all the planet, his mind calmed, Reikiko was far away from there, the Reikiko he knew wasn't in that little girl. Daiki immediatly calmed down and gently took the apple this Reikiko gave to him. ''Thanks Reikiko-chan, you're adorable.'' He said in a friendly and soft voice, petting gently her head with a friendly look on his face. Then the other person, known as Hikari, started to talk to Daiki. She informed him about the leaders of this island, Daiki presented his hand for a shake. ''I guess you already know my name then, but can i know yours? And yes, i know there people, and i'm surprise i was welcome in this place if Vi-Poi is a leader of this project. May i know the name of the person i'm talking to'' He said in a respectful voice.
Daiki forgot the female saiyan behind him, she was looking at him with a wierd look, pretty much like hate but with a slight difference, she had her arm cross and was ignoring him. Meh, she probably know me, and as a saiyan, she is not allowed to talk to me. Or maybe she is just anti-sociable, but i don't really care, there are more interesting people there. He said sighting while their eyes met each other, a look Daiki took as a challenge, she was taking him for an inferior, or not caring, he couldn't tell really, but he will be wanting to know more about her later. Then he heard a voice familiar to him, not too much, but he swear he already heard this before, Daiki turned back to see Cipher and his girlfriend, they were looking cute, but Daiki saw in the eyes of the male android that he was worried about his presence. ''Don't worry Cipher, i saw that the Blue Banner Army have a great influence here, but the same as Kami, if this place is under Kami's protection, and as peaceful as it look, i don't have any will of damaging it, it look like a home paradise to me actually.'' He saiyan said to calm the android that was ready to act if Daiki was going crazy. Daiki then turned back to the first person he was talking too, one of the leader of this project. ''So Kami is Reikiko's father after all... uh... so she is related to the other Reikiko after all is she?'' Daiki asked, taking a bite into the apple the little Reikio gave him. Daiki then crouched to look at Reikiko's height, looked at her in the eyes as an equal. '' I do not feel any evil in her, she is literally pure or heart. And she is kinda cute too. And at the opposite, i feel the other Reikiko on the planet evilier than ever, can someone tell me what happened?'' He said getting back to standing, looking around him to see if someone had an answer for him, he was now curious about this little girl who was obviously related to the Reikiko he know himself. Even if Daiki had a huge hate for the Reikiko he knew, he felt this little innocent Reikiko didn't deserve any hate, he saw in her eyes she was more of someone on his side. Daiki then felt a small power level coming toward him, around three thousand if he could still relate on his comparison with his scouter's information he had assimilated over the years using it.

(Heavy Weights are on) From nearby, the sound of heavier footsteps approached. From around the corner, a large figure carrying a plant pot entered the area, the pot full of various gardening supplies. Glancing down at the assembled group, he gave a cheery wave. "Hello there." Placing his load down, Walker bowed briefly, looking around at the assembled group. Seeing Kaula, he waved. "Ah, Miss Kaula. It is good to see you here. This is a worthy endeavor indeed." His eyes flickered to Rei for a moment. It was heartbreaking to see the formerly mighty Bio-android reduced to this. She was far more pathetic than her former self, the power gone to a dark doppleganger, along with much of her emotions. He wondered if she remembered him at all. Settling down, he sat cross-legged at the edge of the group, so as to better match the heights of those present.
As it stood, he had only overheard the names of the other two as he approached, but he was hesitant to attempt to name one for fear of getting it wrong. Looking at Daiki and Cipher, he smiled, and queried "What might your names be? I heard Cipher and Daiki Iranos mentioned, but I am not certain which of you is Mr. Cipher, and which Mr. Iranos." His tone sounded almost sarcastic, but the cheerful inflection made it hard to believe this could be the case. As he sat, something caught his eye. A figure was approaching the island, one whose proportions were very familiar. It was clearly not Booberry, but still, a Majin was a worrisome prospect. Standing up, he coughed slightly. "My apologies. I notice a guest, and I want to ensure there is no ill will." Rising upwards, he stopped in the path of Komoto, bowing slightly. "Hello, Sir. Welcome to the future site of Avalon. May I ask why you visit this place today?" He was careful to keep from sounding acccusing, but the worry induced by his previous encounter with the "Demon man" race meant that he couldn't be sure if everything would be alright. If worst came to worse, he still had that strange ability he had discovered while training. He did not want to fight, but if someone was trying to tempt this Rei to evil as well,or absorb her... he would stop them. He would stop them proper

Komoto giggled habit from the bowing tree. Not because of his manners, or his looks, but from the fact he could hear abit of accusation in his cheerful tone. Komoto merely decided to roll with it as he stared at construction.
"Hello good sir. I'm just here to admire the future flying island. You really don't see those everyday", Komoto said as he passed Tokoz. Komoto wasn't I'm the mood to talk to plants today.
As Komoto stepped passed tokoz, Komoto noticed the android he knew as Cipher, with his woman that Komoto saved. He still didn't know why he saved her, and when he thought about it, it probably wouldn't happen again. But Komoto thought that at least one person thought he was nice-ish here in case they started calling him an evil monster.

[Heavy Weights ON] ( Music!) The sound of a hammer pounding away at foundation rang out slowly and in a steady rhythm. Smacking away at the construction materials and sincerely hoping he was correctly guessing on what he was doing (''What!? I'm a martial artist, not a foreman!''), Liang raised up from his squatting position to admire his work. Eyeing up one of the off-duty soldiers from his unit he'd brought with him, a rookie that he often hung around with, the young man face-palmed and chuckled. ''Hey, quit laughin' at me! Y'know what, go get some more lumber or something!'' ''We already brought it all over!'' ''Not the point! Go find some more! I can't focus with you sitting there yucking it up every five minutes.'' Pointing accusingly, he watched the rookie quickly pipe down. ''Fine, fine. I'll keep it under wraps. I'm bored, though.'' ''Yeah, well i'm doin' stuff. I brought you along to help me carry things, but...hmm. Y'know what? Why don't you round up the other two and just head back. I think i've got this.'' The rookie nodded quickly as he jogged away to meet up with the other two new off-duty new recruits, and before the trio left, watched Liang a little while longer. In truth, he wasn't allowing them to get in the way of what he was calling ''training''. He had purposely hidden a lot of things that needed to be lugged around, and purposely brought along his heavy weights to help Reikiko and her guardian get this place up and running. Peering around carefully, he began to sneak over to his hiding spot for his materials and picked up an armload of boards and planks, beginning to scoot-step his way back to the building he was presently working on. As he shuffled along, he saw the rookies imitating him and having another laugh, causing him to furrow his brow. He was in the right mind to go over there and club one or two of them with one of the shorter planks, but made his best (which weren't very good) attempts to ignore their joking. He finally arrived back at the building and looked over to inspect all the people who had shown up as he continued working, wiping a thick layer of sweat off of his forehead and taking a gulp of water.
He spotted a few strangers at first, but was able to pick his way through the crowd in no time and find some familiar faces. First, he spotted Cipher; he offered his android friend a wave, and considered how odd it was to both be here off-duty from the Blue Banner. It was likely a social environment they weren't entirely used to, what with usually being around military. He spotted he had brought along that ''Porsalynne'' he had heard so much about from the gossip of the rank and file, and offered her a wave in greeting as well, smiling to the both of them. He began to neatly stack his boards and planks when he spotted Daiki, waving to him as well. It was clear the human been pretty focused on his work and had likely been here for a while. To Liang, this was just another creative way to cheat in some training while he was helping out a friend. He had been keeping a nice and steady pace for a while but fatigue was beginning to set in little by little, as evidenced by his sloppily short-tied tail with the rest of his hair in a ragged and messy look. Before long, he found himself out of boards and planks and decided to shift his focus on remedying the problem. He walked over to where he kept ''his'' portion of the uncut lumber and grabbed a wood chopping axe, dragging it along behind him with a portion of wood. Heaving it onto a chopping block, he stuck his tongue out and closed one eye, lining up the point he intended to split with his thumb while shouldering the tool with his free hand. As he lined up a few practice swings and lightly worked the tool through the air, his eyes gradually lifted up to a horrifying sight as he took the committed swing.
That mocha-colored skin. The wild, untamed mane of hair.
The shortness.
Oh no. Oh no, no no no.
It was her.
They hadn't even been properly introduced when they first met, and had immediately got off on the wrong foot. What was she even doing here? Had she decided to track him down and slap him up for the height comment? She'd left in quite a huff, and Saiyans weren't exactly popular for not holding grudges. Letting out a brief noise of surprise, as the tool connected with the wood and split it, his lapse of attention causing a half to fly up off the block and straight into his chest and head, he let out a panicked, defeated squeal as he fell onto his back and lifted his arms up helplessly. Flailing about for a few moments in a fuss, he had a brief memory of being beat up by a crab when he first met the fussy, impossible woman. His face contorted into a stressful, slack-jawed panic, he heaved the object off of his body and planted his heels firmly in the dirt, scooting on his back along the ground until he was out of view. He felt pretty accomplished at his sneaky antics, even though he looked ridiculous. He sat up and pressed his back against the large chopping block, taking a bottle of water out of his back pocket and taking a long drink. That was too smooth. With everyone so distracted, he felt he took great advantage of the situation and escaped embarrassment. He was wrong, but that wasn't important.
Nope. Nope nope nope nope. Nobody saw that. That was amazing.

(Heavy Weights On) (Thread PL: 2,569,552 (With Weights: 642,388))
Operation Avalon was first and foremost a Science Corps operation. It involved all subgroups of that branch of Blue Banner. It was the largest construction project attempted by the BBA since Big Blu and the Zero-Zero Shipyards out in Fortuneteller’s Desert. The project involved creating a floating geosynchronous island in the sky, an artificial Timeless Lookout, powered by ingenuity and not magic. He was flying there now to oversee its raising, and make sure all of the myriad systems were in their correct alignments before the liftoff. The antigravity engines attached to it were twice as large as Big Blu’s, and there was worry among the engineers and physicists that the intense and intermittent graviton fluctuations expected at the field termination curve could create wild atmospheric phenomena, including intense surrounding storms and wreathes of mist once the island was in the air. Vi-Poi guessed that these imbalances could be corrected by a steadier energy flow from the reactor supply into the converter matrices, but that came with an additional problem -- the island needed to be able to maintain its position, and that including pulse adjustments in trajectory over time. That couldn’t be helped, though. There was no changing the the sun and the moon’s gravitational influence upon Avalon.
The blue-haired android pondered this problem and many others on his analytics while simultaneously studying what he knew of Reikiko and her split. There had been a fission of her ki and her spirit at the Timeless Lookout -- he'd been witness to the bizarre scenario that had even confounded Kami -- beyond that he knew precious little. The Special Corps spy network was little help in matters of ki science, and all of their reporting in the matter was pragmatic at best. The island wasn’t being built for mere scientific interests. It was to be a haven for the coherent half of Reikiko that had been recovered, and a protective lair for her. The recovered half of Reikiko had been an amnesiac, and had exhibited all the symptoms of a post-trauma syndrome. He still had mixed feelings about Ensign Hikari’s resignation and sluicing of this project, but he agreed it was necessary. There was no telling what would happen if her split halves met, but Vi-Poi had a feeling that none of it would be good.
He activated his blue kiai and quintupled his speed, searing through the sky like an icy comet. The world below him passed by in an abstract blur until he arrived at Avalon. The island was still grounded, sitting upon a wide expanse of plains as if some giant had torn out part of the Earth and placed it there. Beneath its natural and lush exterior, Vi-Poi detected its iron and electric skeleton. Construction dotted its greenery. Further, there were several familiar energy signatures on the islands, along with ones he’d yet to meet. He smiled and descended to the island, landing where the largest gathering of ki-sensitives were. His scouter recognized Liang as he flew by, and Vi-Poi grinned in excitement. Confusingly, his friend was wiggling on his back like some sun-stricken worm. Vi-Poi hmmed at that. Perhaps he was overworked. He’d heard he’d been helping in construction.
Cipher 24 was there as well, and with a woman. A curious thing, that. He wondered if it had something to do with the billing invoice that had somehow fluttered into his computer suites… he would have to ask, when he got the chance.
He detected Daiki nearby as well, though there was something different about his aura, something that was vaguely familiar. He sent the detected change to his processor. There would have to be a reckoning with his former friend. Daiki had done much in attempting to jeopardize Blue Banner’s takeover, including killing hundreds of Vi-Poi’s troops. Lives could not be replaced. Vi-Poi had expected more understanding from his old battle ally. Did the Saiyan truly think Vi-Poi some mad tyrant?
There were others, as well, more he didn’t recognize. Some sort of tree-like sentience that piqued his interest, a dark haired woman, and a being his Magical Operating Gadget immediately identified as a Majin. Even with the tight claw of his heavy weights around his abdomen and beneath his armor, none of the powers posed a direct threat. He was surprised to find Reikiko’s signature – changed but still familiar – had grown so low in signal. His analytics slumped grimly at that. It meant that whatever other Reikiko was out there had taken the lion's share of her power.
White cross hairs intersected in his bright blue eyes as his Heads Up Display locked on to her, sifting through billions of data points with careful focus.
So, she was still human, more or less. There had been absolutely no reversal in the metamorphosis, no change in her condition that he could detect. It was a fascinating and troubling discovery. “Reikiko.” He said softly, walking to her. Short as he was, he still had to crouch a bit to put a hand on her shoulder. He met her eyes. “Are you okay? What of your amnesia? Is your… other half so altered as well?” He asked, worried of the ramifications.
(Lock-On/3D Scan Mode [SU3] used. Vi-Poi is generally much more accurate while holding a lock on, and is given extensive target data.)
(Sorry it took so long, everyone Was swamped with work, then with catch-up posts, then my power went out... twice. )

Confusion, that was the first emotion that plagued Reikiko at the ongoing conversation. While the child had initially smiled in response to the light pet on her head that Daiki had given her, the moment the Saiyan started talking about the 'other' Reikiko the child tilted her head to the side in confusion. Was there another Reikiko like her? The thought made her a bit curious, and it made her wonder why she didn't see this other Reikiko yet. Still, she felt like that might had not been the answer she sought. Either way, almost like a child her attention turned from one thing onto another and after briefly waving up at a large tree... man... a treeman, the girl darted over to Kaula who had just tried to lean back against one of the unfinished buildings. It seemed like the child didn't intend to let the young woman be allowed to remain by herself for long, because unless stopped she would have pounced against her like a kitten and playfully attempted to embrace her companion, raising her head to look up at the Saiyan, that same blissfully innocent smile on her lips.
"..."
Even if she didn't say anything, to Reikiko it seemed like Kaula's presence was a much greater gift than the apple had been, and with a little bit of effort she tried to convince the hybrid to return to the group, hopefully by grasping a hold of her hand and leading her back, if she was allowed to do so. In the meanwhile Hikari had observed the child's antics, while at the same time focusing her attention onto Daiki. She had to remain careful, lest the things she said might had changed the man's decision about the child's safety.
"You are correct... She is a part of 'that' Reikiko. A little while ago she started training under Kami-sama in an attempt to cleanse the darkness that had plagued her ever since she obtained that power. Nevertheless, it seemed the darkness was too strong of an influence, especially after the events that unfolded within West Capitol, and as a result of losing the psychological warfare against her negative emotions she was left in this condition. Quite literally a helpless child. Sure, she might have a fair level of strength as one, but her power is but a sliver of that what the other Reikiko possesses."
Nevertheless, it seemed that Hikari's conversation would have been cut short when Vipoi arrived, seemingly focusing his first interactions on the island with the little Reikiko. The hand that gently rested on her shoulder caused the child to look upwards, into the eyes of the android. It was odd how they looked a lot like her own, in the sense that while both of them were alive, there was also a certain 'emptiness' in them.
"Admin--- I mean Vipoi, it is a pleasure to see you again. Fortunately there has been some positive improvements on her condition. While she has yet to show any sign of regaining her memories she has started to display emotions akin to a normal human. Nevertheless, for some reason speech seems to remain out of her capacities. Perhaps a post-traumatic symptom of the splitting."
Still the talk about the 'other' half seemed to cause Reikiko to be struck with another feeling of confusion. Why was everyone talking about the other Reikiko, or her 'other' half? Was there something they knew that she wasn't aware of yet? Something that she didn't remember... something that shouldn't been forgotten? A sharp ringing pain coursed through her head, making a soft gasp escape the child's lips, before suddenly reaching up with her hands toward her head, as if she was having some terrible headache.
What is it that you desire?
A feminine voice whispered in her ear, and she was certain it wasn't Hikari. While at one moment she was standing there, the android still before her, a moment later the child had been standing somewhere else, as if she had been experiencing a dream while being awake. It was an empty space, quite literally a pure white room that stretched seemingly endlessly into the distance. However, what made her more curious was the grimoire that floated in the air before her.
"..."
The child remained silent, and yet it seemed the grimoire received an answer, for it started to slowly float around her, a soft hum coming from within the object. Was this a dream, or was it something different? A short pause happened before the same mysterious voice reached her ears again.
Now that is fascinating. Instead of power or wealth you desire something else, do you not little one?
The book knew what she wanted. It was neither power or wealth nor did she desire influence. There was something, only one thing the child truly desired. Perhaps that was the reason why the mysterious voice was so intrigued by the presence of this little girl.
You who are broken, you who fear losing that what you treasure as a result... Your only wish is to become 'normal' again isn't it? To be fixed?
The child nodded her head firmly, causing a soft chuckle to escape from the book. For a moment a silence lingered once more before the book came to a halt before her face. For this child to become normal was going to be a difficult feat to accomplish. In the end it wasn't like it had been removed, but rather it was as if the things that made the child who she was meant to be had been sealed away, leaving her in a damaged state.
Fine, but little one... you should know that your desire will be quite painful to accomplish. Over time you will be 'repaired', and yet the question is whether you'll be happy with that result.
There was an evident change in the child's expression, for while initially she displayed concern her eyes soon narrowed into a look of confidence, a defiant gaze that said she was prepared to fight anything that would threaten to keep her broken. The voice inside the book laughed, soon replying to her reaction.
Hahaha, I have acknowledged your resolve mortal! Then let us open the first pages onto the past that is concealed within you. You will be unlikely to properly recall it until later, but it should grant you a boon for days to come."
At the same time the book started to open itself, countless pages scrolling before her eyes the Reikiko within reality released a pained gasp as her ki seemed to flare lightly. From twenty thousand it seemed to rise rapidly upwards toward what seemed to be roughly around sixty thousand. In the meanwhile within the depths of her mind Reikiko could feel the pages slowly tell a story, and while only a fragment of it entered her mind... the revelation was intense to her.
Slowly her eyes opened to a new sight, a green-colored liquid surrounding her body, and while she lacked the ability to move any of her limbs, as if something had disconnected her brain from the muscles that controlled her body, she could still see a man approach the cylinder-shaped container she was in. The man smiled kindly at her, like a father smiling at his daughter while he spoke in an affectionate tone.
"Soon my dear... soon you'll be able to live, a presence that will fulfill the prophecy."
A prophecy? She wasn't certain what the stranger meant with those words, but it was what happened afterwards that had left the greatest impact on her. Slowly the window-like surface of the container started to grow into focus, displaying a mirror-like image of herself, or rather... While her face seemed to be a lot similar, her head seemed covered by a hardened crown, and her lithe frame surrounded by a tough carapace. There was even a long tail that had a sharp stinger-like appendage on its tip. This was clearly a monster...
"Don't worry... I will ensure you become the new goddess... My precious... My... Reikiko"
The last word seemed to cause her visage to turn red, and almost akin to a nightmare she heard the sound of glass shattering, the glass being some sort of invisible barrier within her thoughts. Back within the reality the child had released a loud cry, likely enough to startle anyone who didn't sense the flaring of her ki, and yet it was the first sound the child had ever made since her splitting.
"Reikiko!"
Hikari was about to approach the child, but it was the moment that followed that froze her on the spot. Three words were spoken, by the softest voice one could have likely heard, and yet despite their gentleness it was clear that they brought her grief as tears ran along the child's cheeks.
"Rei...kiko"
That was the name they called her... But what terrified her even more was the other detailed that had been revealed during that moment of clarity. The man had called the monster 'Reikiko'. Could this mean there was a monster that shared her name? Or was there something else she didn't understand just yet?
"Mon...ster"
The word spoken by her was paused midway, as if she struggle to obtain the means to properly speak, or rather it felt as if it hurt her just to speak even. Still, the man spoke of something odd involving the monster. What did he use again as the word?
"pro..phecy"
And then, as if she had just spend all her energy the child's energy flared out of existence, dropping back to its low twenty thousand and unless Vipoi had been able to catch her, would have collapsed onto the ground with a light thud.
"I... I think we should let her rest a little. I'm uncertain what happened but it seems the constant mentioning of her condition has led to a mental reaction. Still this is the first time I have heard her speak... Could it be that she was forced to recall some sort of memory?"
It was a question that raised some concern for Hikari, in the end despite the fact she wanted Reikiko to recover it did sound rather painful for her to remember the things she just did. Nevertheless, for Vipoi whose scanner had been locked onto the child, the android would have likely been able to sense a very faint pulse of a foreign presence that seemed to not belong to anything he had felt before, neither Reikiko nor the other half. Still, even as exhaustion had briefly made her pass out Reikiko could hear the same mysterious voice answer to her inquiry.
My name? Let us speak about that once you regain your memories little one... But you may consider me a 'benefactor'.

Kaula's eyes narrowed behind her flimsy little Zeni-store glasses as Reikiko approached. Nuuu. She was trying to avoid people, now. She didn't know that when she was coming here that there would be.. So.. Much.. People. She was confused. Her head hurt a bit. So much people talking, so many people talked. That smile. That cute girl's smile. Her own lips slowly curled up in a slight smile of her own. Damn it! She let out a pout and went to tug her scarf up to cover her mouth. She was defenseless to the girl's sudden pounce and hug! The Saiyan stood there awkwardly for a few moments before moving to slowly wrap her own arms around her, grumbling out quietly. Didn't she have other people she'd rather be with? Why her..?
She let herself get dragged back towards people, not minding since Reikiko was there. She sorta.. Hesitated a little bit, though. She was unsure why she felt so calm around the kid. She originally came here because she was told if she helped the kid, she'd probably get stronger.. Alas, that wasn't it. She had all these.. Feelings. Feelings she didn't understand. She was lost in her mind when there was a squeal, taking her out of her mind for a few moments. She turned her head to stare straight at Liang.
"YOU!" she shouted, not stopping yet. "I SEE YOU! YOU WATCH YOURSELF PERVERT!" she shouted as she pointed at the roof he was working on, even though her went to hide, "YOU CAN'T HIDE FROM ME!"
The Saiyan calmed down a little bit after that silly little outburst, but her tail flicked to the side a few times out of anger. She had to calm down, for the girl. Didn't want to scare or worry the girl. ... .... Plus she promised Hikari she'd try to behave. Oh, hey, Reikiko had brought her towards this Vipoi person. Her eyes narrowed behind what was clearly not Blutz Bans. "Oh hey." she'd say, "You're that one nerd dude who had made those glasses commercial thing from the group." the uneducated Saiyan said bluntlym, and rather rudely as one of her hands reached up to simply run through her untamed main, her other hand still holding onto Reikiko's hand.
Kaula went silent after that, still looking around. So much people.. Just so much. She didn't trust anyone. Especially this oppressor of her kind, making them wear stupid glasses. She'd never be caught getting one of those, let alone wearing them. When the girl started to fall, if Vipoi didn't react fast enough to get her, the Saiyan would try to catch the girl herself
(Komoto stated that he can't post once a week anymore when he dropped out of the games, so it's safe to skip him, I guess, if he even still is in the thread. Can't remember.)
