No Body
She hated this. The cloud formed Saiyan looked around at the other clouds like herself that hung around this pond-like area of Hell where she somehow had found herself back at, but also saw those around them who had their bodies. People and creatures who had physical forms... There had to be a way to get her body back. There had to be. But the problem was, nobody she tried to talk to down here who had one would tell her how they had done it. Some said they got it from a witch in a mountain, others said they simply willed it, others told another tale and so did many others.
So either there were multiple ways of getting a body in this place, or everyone was pulling her metaphysical leg and lying to her. It was absolutely infuriating! And there was no way to tell if they were being honest with her either about how they had done it, especially not in a place which had been purported to be where everyone who lies, cheats, stole, murdered etcetera etcetera etcetera wound up. That particular part was damned equally infuriating for herself given that her only crime was to not correct the Simians as to the whole deity aspect of hers. If she ever found a way out of here, she was definitely going to give that over-sized horn headed "King" a piece of her mind.

KP: 3/3 A frown was etched on the boy's face, his arms crossed as he boots clicked onto the brick pathway under him. He had grown to have an unyielding hatred for this little pond of blood, and he had grown to hate most of the regular souls who had come there. Those content to stay down here, trapped, in this prison of an afterlife. Still, he did almost understand where these wretches were coming from. Most of them were probably just normal people, dying of all sorts of things they couldn't control. The few who did call themselves soldiers were most likely grunts, working for either side of the war between the Mazoku and the empire, who would be the first to die if someone like HIM ever showed up. Now, what was he, exactly? He wasn't a Super Saiyan, he wasn't some grunt who had a power level below two thousand. No, he was him. And that him had managed to reach heights that, up until a few years ago, none had reached in over a millennium. And while he was far from the first to reach it, and far from the last, he was still at a power level that could put 99.9% of all who called themselves "martial artists" to shame, and thanks to his previous thieving actions, he had all he needed to prove it.
Still, there was still the problem of a permanent training partner. He had managed to find quite a few who could prove useful to him, both at this horrible pond, and in the farther reaches of the wastelands of hell. Still, while he had found a few who could fill that role, not a single one had actually taken up with him in his desperate attempt to escape from hell, but none seemed to even be interested. Sure, Rafar did seem keen on becoming a training partner, and Greeve seemed... vaguely interested. And as for Purika? He might be the key to becoming a Super Saiyan, and than in and of itself was a reason to latch on as hard as possible to the man.
Still, finding someone who could fulfill the requirements he needed would be a task that would consume much of his time, and had already consumed hours, days, maybe even weeks trying to accomplish it. But he'd be damned if the only training he ever got, he spent running around, punching the air, throwing ki blasts, and accomplishing exactly jack SHIT while doing it. Sure, he was probably a bit stronger than when he came down here, but that had been after at the very least, a month of training, training, and more training. He was done sitting around kicking the air. Now was the time for ACTION.

Lo would be walking around a red hat saying Lo mein's fireworks and he would be walking around pulling behind him a wagon with an assortment of fireworks on it with a cardboard sign saying, Fireworks 10z he would walk around selling to people of all ages little cloud children and older people who have attained there body.It seemed he kept his salesman ship with him as he was sent down to hell, it seemed today his upper body was much more visible if you looked you could notice a sharp black suit that the ghostly man was wearing.

Hell truly had some weird sights that went around it. The ghost who was selling fireworks for ten zeni each was definitely up there, especially since the spirit formed Saiyan doubted that she even had any zeni on her since... well, that had all been with her when she'd been alive, and as a ghost... well, no pockets. Before she could even try to figure out how that ghosts salesmen schtick was supposed to work down here in this realm, she spotted a Saiyan hanging around who had his body... "Well, millionth time of asking's the charm..." Brassica muttered to herself before she made herself head over towards him. "Excuse me, but I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone around here, not surprising since this is supposed to be Hell and all... but how exactly do you manage to get your body back in this place?" she asked the Saiyan male as soon as she got close enough. "I am getting sick and tired of this whole non-corporeal thing, as well as this stupid squeaky version of my own voice!" the current puffball of a Saiyan shortly explained, little clouds of indignation rising from her head as she got irritated with her own voice.

The Saiyan would continue walking, not noticing anything at first. It seemed like this would just be another day stuck in hell, barely getting any training done. But, it didn't take long for him to notice that one of the few clouds around him was... approaching him. He cocked his head, stopping, before listening to what the bodyless soul would say to him, and as he did, it felt like he was listening to himself from not to long ago... and it prompted a response that Tomoka thought was appropriate. "Well, shit. I didn't think I'd find anyone else but me who went looking for a body down here. Yet another condemned soul, doomed to float around here, with a stupid fucking voice making them just about as threatening as a newborn kitten. Even I didn't get that, and thank Yemma I didn't..." He would continue, before shaking his head, getting back on track. "Anyways, name's Tomoka, and you are probably, maybe, most definitely another wretch that got their body taken away from them when they finally kicked the bucket, as was I only a while ago, and who knows how long that was..." he would mutter, before continuing on, "Still, that means I know the way to get a body, and I know how to tell you." With that, Tomoka would remain silent for a moment. Something had been... eating away at him since he had come down here. Something had been tearing at him, and he wasn't sure what. Still, he did have a faint idea. It was something that he needed to know. Something that he knew this lost soul could tell him. "There's just something I want you to tell me, dead one. It's felt like an eternity since I was put down here. It's felt like I've barely made any progress. I need to know... how long have I been fucking GONE?! Have things gone faster? If I escape, will I find myself in some world hundreds of years into the future? I need to know that... and I need to know a lot more." He would finish, sweat rolling down his forehead. Why was he acting like this? Why was he so desperate to know? Deep down, he knew the answer; if he returned to late... there might be nothing for him to find.

Lo mein would hover the cloud woman asking how to get a body, the ghost would chuckle he knew the answer to this maybe he could use her later on if he did her this favor. "ill tell you but later on you owe me a favor got it" if she would accept to the terms then he would tell her "You must build up shoki one of the main currencies down here then after some time you will have enough you will simply if you will the shoki it will form together giving you back your body" he would pause this could have been a mistake telling her this because most people in hell where here for a reason, that is because they where bad it got lo wandering what did she do to end up in hell.

Brassica tilted her cloud form self as if she were tilting her head in thought. "Well, I never heard your name before, but I'll give you the summary of what's going on and hopefully that'll help you figure out the timing." the spiritual Saiyan said to Tomoko. "Queen Zucceta abdicated and made Habana the Queen, and we're currently at war with this Namekian called Xylo who's got himself a Dominion which encompasses the old Arcosian Empire. Last I saw was on Beppa, which is where I wound up getting killed after fighting with some turban wearing Namekian under Xylo's command." summarised Brassica for the Saiyan, as well as the eavesdropping ghost who was offering a deal.
She looked over towards the ghost. "A guy with no body saying he knows how to get one?" inquired Brassica with a slight snort. "Sorry if I don't quite believe you have what I'm looking for." she said, turning down his deal. Last thing she wanted was to owe some random spirit down here a favour. She may have grown up on a jungle world with no real civilisation, but she wasn't an idiot. Especially when the deal in question was coming from a spirit trying to get zeni from other spirits with no pockets or zeni on them. She figured he was a few branches short of a tree.

Aimless Wandering
THREAD PL: 78,453
KP: 3/3
The words of the phantom were completely ignored by the boy, who listened as carefully as he could to the floating, squeaky soul of a cloud before him, and for a moment, he wondered if his voice had been squeaky as well, while trapped as the very essence of all he was, ever could be, and all he had done, but he would shake those thoughts off, remembering he had to focus on what he could learn... and not laugh in the process. Focusing back on the soul, it would continue on, explaining the political situation, what was going on, and how the war was actually progressing. And Tomoka couldn't be happier. The world HADN'T shot forward through time while he was gone. No, it actually seemed like time was moving at it's present course. Every day in the afterlife was a day in the living world! And than... everything came to a screeching halt, when the sole uttered where they had died... This one was one of the many Saiyans, or Nameks, who had fallen in the war, the war that he was missing out on, the war that he had failed to contribute to, the war against the Solar Saiyan Empire, her stalwart queen, and the Mazoke Dominion, with it's Emperor Xylo at the helm. While the hands of the ship had changed, this was something Tomoka had already known, and that was a problem. Why? Simply put; Tomoka knew EVERY SINGLE THING that this cloud had sputtered out. He KNEW that Queen Zuccetta had abdicated, and her much less attractive commander had taken the reigns. He KNEW that the empire was fighting Xylo. Hell, he had JOINED against it. He KNEW, he KNEW, he KNEW, and the worst part was that he knew that this soul wasn't holding anything from him, because he had DIED during the same invasion as it had!
He clenched his teeth, breathing heavily as he stared at the ground. His hands trembled, and it seemed as if his entire body was shaking. It couldn't be true. It couldn't be. Even after talking to a fellow war veteran... he still had no idea what was going on, and he still didn't even know that this world was operating on the same time as the living world, or if possibly thousands of years had passed in their absence. It would indeed explain why the line was so long. While there will millions, if not billions of people dying throughout the galaxy every day, if they were dying over the course of several hundred years, the line would be far greater, which it was. Hours were spent on that line, and it had taken less than a minute for the king to put Tomoka in hell... With that final thought, Tomoka would let out a moan, one of absolute frustration, anguish... and rage, before uttering a string of curse words. To anyone watching, he would seem like a raving lunatic... until he finally calmed down. At that, he would look forward, staring into the soul. There was something... wrong with his eyes. Almost as if they weren't staring at a puff of cloud... but at the form it had taken while alive. Though Tomoka clearly didn't, since if he had, he'd be busy admiring it. "...Thank you, for giving me the information you know. There is a slight problem with it, just to let you know." He would say, slowly pulling himself up. For while he was screaming, he had seemed to fall on the ground, and only the two souls watching could witness him have some sort of an ungilating fit. Almost as if something was forcing itself inside... and it wasn't going to leave for any time soon. It already had a hold over Tomoka, but now, it was in control, and it didn't plan on handing back the reigns any time soon. "You and I... we seem to have died during the same invasion... which means neither of us knows how long we've been down here, and neither of us knows what's going on in the living world... but despite this depressing reality, I still have a deal to keep with you." Tomoka would state, taking a look at the soul once more, before reaching his hand out, it slowly dissolving into threads of multi colored light, before stacking into small coins, each piling up, until half of Tomoka's body now looked like an unwoven sock. Than, all at once, it pulled back, the coins disappeared, and Tomoka stood, expecting a look of shock on the soul. "That was shoki. It is, quite literally, the currency of the soul. It's used as a form of currency, a form of power, and a form of strength. Currency in the way you can buy things with it, power in the way that money is power, and strength in the way that, when you gather it, you only become stronger." Tomoka would explain, stopping to allow the soul to soak up the information slowly, before continuing on. "To get shoki, you'll have to do it the old fashioned way: take it. I'd recommend doing it like this..." Tomoka would say, before looking over to a rock. Slowly, he reached out, and it began to wobble, before hovering in the air, Tomoka slowly bringing it over to him, before it would land in his hands. With that, he would throw it as hard as he could, seeing it hit a far off plateu in the distance. "And that was telekinesis. Hopefully you can figure that out. Now... once you have enough shoki, you'll have options. You can use it to buy information, or get one of those illegal witches to sculpt you a body. Or, you could do what I did, and make it yourself, using shoki. There are plenty of options, and you can use any of them. Though if you do, you will be warned: don't forget to make clothes. I only realized that halfway through making mine, and I'm glad that I did." He would mutter towards the end, before finally stopping, and plopping back down to the ground. "Now, is there anything else you can tell me, or... do you want help? If so, I have nothing better to do, and stealing by beating the shit out of ogres would be pretty fun... it's your call though."
Tomo may have gone a bit crazy, but he gave the soul what it wanted. The transaction is complete, but will it simply end here? BrassicaLo

Brassica was not expecting the reaction that this Saiyan was putting out from the news that she'd just given him. And it became clear why very quickly, they'd apparently been in the same war, on the same planet in fact. What annoyed her more than anything though at the moment was the fact that he'd managed to get a body in the short amount of time that he'd been down here before she'd arrived, and she had yet to manage to do so! He then demonstrated this Shoki thing by unravelling his lower body, which was disturbing to say the least, and explaining that it was how things got made down here in Hell. He then demonstrated being able to use telekinesis to grab a hold of a rock and then throw that same rock far away. "Think... I'll make it myself." she said after a moments silence between them. "Don't think I'd be able to trust anyone down here to remake my body without altering it in some way." the dead Saiyan female mused. "I think I'll go grab up some more of this shoki stuff first before I take you up on that ogre beating offer. Want to make sure I've at least got some fists so I can actually do something." she said with as best of a smirk as she could muster when she was a puffball of smoke. Tomoka

THREAD PL: 78,453
KP: 3/3 Tomoka nodded slowly, the whizzing cloud’s words making sense. “Fair enough.” He would state flatly. He turned, preparing to leave, before he stopped, and turned around once more. “By any chance… when you finally get your body back, which I would assume to be soon… would you require a training partner?” He asked, his head cocking to the side slightly. “You’re a Saiyan, as I am, and this much is clear, and to be on Beppa and fight, that makes you one of two things. You’re either a grunt, with only a few thousand PL to your name, a simple, tiny cog in the imperial war machine… or you’re strong. Very, very strong…” he would say, lips curling into a grin. “I know I’ve become stronger while down here. Much, much stronger, to say the least. Even in that dead state of yours, I will tell you this: your body, had you not died, would’ve received a VERY large zenkai boost. So, the moment you get that body of yours back…” Tomoka would say, not having to finish his sentence. What he meant would be obvious to anyone, and he knew it’d be obvious to this wandering soul. “You’ll also find that some of your senses are… heightened. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been able to… feel people. I don’t know what it is, but I think it’s their strength, their power. I can only feel the incredibly strong though, so it isn’t exactly foolproof… could you already feel it though, before you were sent down here? Their power, their strength?” he asked, now seeming genuinely curious. This wasn’t how he normally acted. Hell, since he was put down here he wasn’t acting normal, which did bother him, to some degree. Shaking his head, he put the question aside, before directing his attention to the phantom. “You… why are you trying to sell things down here? Why are you trying to accrue wealth in this world, when you could get it from a world with more than just a single currency? Sure, the population of hell is big, but why would anyone want to buy anything down here? That is, anyone important…” he would say, arms crossing as he looked at the ghost. He was a rather ridiculous figure, just floating there, peddling goods. In a way, it annoyed him, but mostly, it was entertaining, which was why he hadn’t shot a beam of red ki right between his eyes. “Actually… I wonder. If I shot you right now, would it go through you, or would it hit, and you’d have to heal?” He asked to himself aloud, not noticing, before he took a look at the phantom once more. “...oh. That was… aloud, wasn’t it?” he asked, already knowing the answer. Shaking his head, he would look back at the floating spirit, clenching his fists, breathing heavy. “Honestly, I need a break. This is just too much and it’s been going on to long. Find me when you have a body, I’ll probably be in some wasteland area… place… shithole, who cares. Just find me when you have a body, and then we can actually do something other than talk about how to get a body.” He mumbled, before turning around one final time. Slowly, he floated up into the air, before ki erupted around him, and he shot off and into the distance. With that, the event was over. Tomoka thought about much as he flew, and when he finally landed in some quiet, off distance spot. The spirit was a Saiyan, and probably a strong one, someone of his level, maybe higher, maybe lower. It didn’t particularly matter, as any fight would be a good one, but he could only wonder if he would see this soul again at all. His plans were moving faster than expected. At this point, it would only take a matter of weeks to gain the shoki he required, and the amount of training he was looking to get done. He knew he was inching ever closer to Super Saiyan… but as for achieving it? He didn’t know if that was something he wanted to do. While returning to the living world, having achieved one of the greatest achievements that a Saiyan could possibly hope to achieve, that could only be topped by mastering the form, and after that, only by reaching a level that was PAST a Super Saiyan. But… was there one after that? He had remembered watching a film in his days at the academy, detailing Saiyan biology and the Super Saiyan transformation, and it was highly likely that there was a level beyond the second grade of Super Saiyan, or Super Saiyan two. It was also believed that the Saiyans of old had unlocked this grade, but for whatever reason, forgot it, and none achieved it for millennia. Obviously Tomoka hadn’t come close, or couldn’t hope to come close to this level of strength within a few weeks or months. Years, perhaps, but weeks? It was out of the question. These were important questions… but now, Tomoka didn’t want to try and answer them. All he wanted to do right now was rest. And so, he did.

"Yeah, I'd like that. Been a while since I've had a decent sparring partner." said Brassica at Tomoka's offer of a training partner after she'd managed to get her body back. She rubbed the back of her cloudy head, or at least as close an approximation to the act as she could in her current nebulous state, at the mention of her having just missed out on a zenkai boost since she'd died. Although he seemed to imply that she may still get it once she gets her body back down here. "Not sure that's how it works, but worth giving it a shot I guess." the former Saiyan mused. When he talked about sensing peoples powers she gave a nod. "Yeah, been able to do that for a while now. Comes in handy, except against machine people." Brassica admitted. "Haven't quite figured out why anyone with machine parts to them can't be sensed all that well." she mused. She watched him disappear off into the distance, before deciding to drift off herself as well. Now that she knew she had to get this shoki stuff in order to make herself a body, she just had to go about getting the stuff. And put as much distance as she wanted between her and the weirdo ghost trying to sell fireworks for zeni down here in Hell whilst she was at it.
Exiting thread, and would like Shoki for this please :3 Lo
