Articho frowned at Gira as she mentioned trying to find Xylo and get involved in the war on Namek. Pasley seemed to pick up on her brother's sudden shift in mood, her smile fading for a moment. "Good. I would hope you would ask for help if you're trying to do something like that," the hybrid said, his tone serious. He hadn't forgotten his encounter with Xylo during the Afterlife Tournament. He was no ordinary Namekian, not that Arti had encountered many of them, but it didn't take a detective to understand that Demon Clan Namek was evil. "Xylo isn't someone you simply want to go 'find.' He's dangerous and more likely than not, he will kill you. Understand?" Articho hoped his point got across to his student, especially given the rare loss of his more laid back attitude. He cared about Gira and, while he knew what lay beyond death, he didn't want her to lose her life for something stupid. Not to mention, the allure of Heaven is strong and he'd lost friends to the Afterlife before.
Articho's mood lightened up again as he set his sister in the high chair and handed her the sippy cup. The baby banged it against the high top's bars a few times before Arti guided it up to her mouth and got her sipping on it. Pasley calmed down quickly and drank from the bottle. Arti tousled her pink hair while he nodded in thanks to Pieter's brother. "Thanks. It was dumb of me to forget her cup and stuff, but I was just ready to get out of the house. I was going insane on that island. Kinda hard to believe I'm gonna live and probably raise my own family there..." he laughed nervously, though it got him thinking. Maybe he should look into finally finding someone. He was getting of that age... "Yeah, I managed to get my training with him by making puns based off the increased gravity he put on me at the time. Worst jokes I've ever made, but it worked," Articho said as he sat down at the bar next to Pasley. "I'd say what I'm wanting but I think you already know what I'm going to ask for." He shot another cheesy grin at Pieter before looking over at Pracross.
"Nice to meet ya, Pracross," Articho said with a nod. Pasley was too absorbed in her milk to notice Pracross' finger. "Parents came up with it when they found it she was a girl. The argument went on for about an hour." He laughed again, running his fingers through his sister's hair again.

Gira averted her eyes from her sensei as his tone grew serious. He didn't seem happy to hear that she tried to find Xylo. 'Did I... did I do something wrong?' Gira asked herself, listening as Articho admonished her for seeking out the leader of the Mazoku Dominion. Perhaps it wasn't the best of ideas, Gira would admit, but her curiosity got the better of her. She didn't know he was the type to just kill people who were non-combative. Now she knew better. 'It's not like I was gonna fight him, though... I mean, if he didn't threaten me or Pota.' That was when she remembered she had her friend and hero sidekick, Pota with her. That made her feel even worse. If Pota went with her and he got hurt, the hybrid wasn't sure she would be able to forgive herself.
When asked if she understood, the hybrid gave Articho a sullen nod. "I understand. Sorry, sensei." She tapped the bar anxiously with her nails. Her mood visibly lifted, however, when Pieter handed her a menu, however. "Thanks!" She grinned and opened the menu, staring hungrily at all the pictures of food. She didn't have any soup at her grandpa's house, so she was getting rather hungry, and now that she had the menu right in front of her, she could hardly resist ordering everything. The knowledge that Pieter would not be happy or allow something like that was the only thing keeping her from doing so. Finally settling on cheeseburgers like Articho, she would wait for Pieter to get to the grill on the other side of the window.
Once he did so and once Articho gave his order, Gira gave hers. "I'll have the same, please!" She grinned at Pieter before turning to Pracross. "Oh, I notice you're a Saiyan too." She looked at his tail, unfurling her own from her waist. "Are you full-blooded? I'm only half." She smiled at the new guy she hadn't met before. Now that she thought about it, both Articho and Pieter were half-Saiyan as well. The fact that they all happened to meet here was a little amusing.

Pieter got to cooking up the food, everyone wanting some food. Waputhi, meanwhile, responded to Articho, "Don't mention it. Just use it as a learning experience for when you have your-"Piet's older brother paused, upon Pracross, who had just introduced himself as a Saiyan from Vegeta, had also mentioned about trying to fetch something from over the counter. Waputhi snapped his fingers to him when he moved away from the crowd, stating quickly to him, "Don't be so anti social! Sit and stay here! Now..."He paused again, to look towards Articho. "As I was saying, this is a learning experience for when, or if you have yourself a kid. Isn't that right, Pasley?"( Pracross Yendatta to you! Pieter's simply busy cooking at the moment, while Waputhi's going to be chit-chatting and serving your drinks, guys!)

As sat, Gira had mentioned, that she, too was a saiyan, but only half. Hybrids... the concept seemed so strange to him but... it was interesting... A being with human brains and saiyan brawn, that combo seemed... terrifying... he wanted to study it, for it had never been in his books, but he didn't think she'd like to be poked with questions, and neither Articho and Pieter. He thought on it a bit more until a figure stood in front of him, the man serving drinks. He told him to be more social with the group but... he honestly had no idea where to start, he had only spoken so little with the inviting company, and the rest seemed more interested in the story he was telling, which he didn't understand since it seemed to be of topics he'd never even heard of... like, what was a "King Kai?" Some sort of like... Royal bug? Much like the queen bee? Whatever it was, it didn't sound like he'd be finding out soon. Pracross checked his watch and sighed. He was so hungry and thirsty, yet so distant that he didn't realize the drink in front of him until just now! He smirked and grabbed it, examining it. It was a black, bubbling substance, or simply, a soda. He took a deep breath and started to chug, then opened on eye as he realized that he might've just stolen someone else's drink, but what did it matter, it was free refills! ... right? Articho Reville

"It's alright, Gira. It's just...make sure you don't try something so dangerous. Not without some help, at least," Articho instructed, giving her one last final stern look before turning his attention to his sister. He picked a napkin and wiped a bit of milk that had dribbled down her chin away. He shrugged in response in Waputhi's comment, running his fingers through his messy, black locks. "Yeah, that's definitely what we need around here. Just another little me running around and causing all sorts of trouble," he joked. "Even then, I wouldn't even know where to begin in trying to find a girl."

Gira turned her attention away from Pracross and back to Articho as he told her again to at least seek help before attempting something so dangerous. She gave him another sullen nod, looking away as he gave her another stern look. She didn't like disappointing Articho, she came to find out. She'd have to find some way to prove she wasn't a total moron out to fight herself into an early grave, though her actions would seem to put her on that path anyway.
When the subject turned to Articho potentially having kids one of these days, Gira put a fist of her heart proudly. "I can babysit Articho Jr.! I'm real good with kids... I think!" While Gira had never looked after a young child before, she supposed that it couldn't be too hard based on what she knew about kids. Just make sure they're fed and not burning the house down and everything would be fine, right? How hard could that be? A lot harder than one might assume, especially when the child you were taking care of was an alien.
From what her mother told her about her early days, Gira was quite a handful as a child; always curious, always getting into places she shouldn't... and when she learned how to fly at the age of five, that presented a whole new set of problems. But Gira was an alien too, while her mother was full-blooded Earthling. She could probably handle a kid. Even an alien kid. "Anyway, you guys mentioned training with a "King Kai?" Who's that? He must be real important if he's a king."
[OOC] I'm real sorry for the wait, guys. I totally forgot that it was my turn until I double checked.]

Pieter popped out three plates with burgers and fries, the burgers being on brioche bread and was notably thick, compared to a normal earth burger. Waputhi would then hand out the plates to the the three, laughing at Articho's which had been followed by Gira's! He looked over at the new guy, seeing he had taken his drink and maintained his grin. Then, a question about King Kai popped up, and Pieter was able to hear that, despite the searing of the ground beef being loud, along with the vent right above!
"He's a guy obsessed with some real bad jokes," Pieter called out through the window, "We're talking some cringe worthy puns! Word play! Like, 'If the mushroom was such a fun guy, why didn't he have a party over at his place'?"
Waputhi's grin faded, as he made an audible, 'Augh'! He looked back to Pieter, "This King Kai guy's got Dad's humor?"
"Yep! That is what I got him to break into laughter with to get trained. I had told him the tuna fish thing that happened at your Bachelor's party with the band and, amazingly, he didn't laugh at that!"
"Hey, are you guys telling other people about that time?"
"Yes, I am, Narid! Did ya learn why it was so funny?"
"I mean, he was trying to to tune a tuna fish thinking it was his guitar, when you can't tune a tuna fish," Narid replied, speaking the comment so plainly that it showed he didn't know why it was so funny.
Pieter ended up belting out a laugh from the kitchen, while shooting another three plates with burgers on them. He knew Arti was going to be hungry and anticipated the others were. He called out, "That's why I have to talk about it! Dah haha ha ha!"
Waputhi handed the 3 plates to Gira, Articho, and Pracross, a smile back while he was shaking his head. He muttered, "I've tried to explain the word play to him so much."

Pracross couldn't help himself but to feel bad as he slammed the drink onto the counter, puffing some air out in satisfaction, his tail swaying in delight, though the thing that made him feel down was that the Waputhi guy looked at him as he did. Did he mind? Was the drink for him and the smile was real? The Saiyan had no idea what to think, he was still yet to understand the way people think.
When the conversation about the "King Kai" continued, he smirked at Pieter's joke. He couldn't help it, he'd always been a sucker for bad jokes, no matter the situation. He looked over at the group as one man talked about this King Kai grabbing a tuna fish and trying to tune it like a guitar, which made the boy smile a little more. Pracross wondered of he could meet this King Kai himself, though it may not be possible since he was a king.
As Pracross istened, Waputhi put a plate in front of him, holding his favorite meal since he'd been on Earth, a Hamburger and fries. "Oh, hell yeah!" He said under his breath, looking around for ketchup, finding a bottle, and putting it next to the fires. When he tried a fry, he leaned back, holding himself on edge of the stool as he kicked his feet gently. It tastes great! But what's about the main course?
He picked up the burger and bit into it slowly, savoring the taste. It'd been a while since he'd eaten a burger. The reunion was sweet and savory, making him feel at leave. I'll have to make sure to tip extra thought the Saiyan boy, as he looked over at Articho and Gira.
The Hybrid girl had sworn something that he hasn't tuned into, but he felt like that whatever it was, she could manage. With a smile she had, she could probably do just about anything with enough confidence. Kind of reminded him of himself and the constant reminded of his attitude between him and his mentor when he trained on Vegeta. Those were certainly the good old days...

Gira almost forgot everything else when a plate of burgers and fries was put in front of her. She gasped with joy and immediately began to dig in, taking a huge bite out of the massive burger. "Mmm! Thish ish good shtuff Pieter! Thanksh!" She grabbed a fistful of fries and shoved those in her mouth too, swallowing with a big gulp. As Pieter explained who King Kai was, the hybrid found herself intrigued. 'A king who likes bad jokes?' Gira laughed at Pieter's corny pun. "That's a good one! I like some good corny jokes." The hybrid cleared her throat before trying one of her own. "How's this? I ordered two thousand pounds of soup. It was... won ton!" The hybrid stifled a laugh. "Ah, i'm not too good at jokes, but I like puns." Gira continued to eat, almost spitting out her food at the tuna fish joke. Instead, she began to choke, beating on her chest with her fist until she managed to swallow. "Jeez, that joke was so bad it almost killed me." The hybrid laughed, finishing off the rest of the plate. Pieter anticipated their appetite though, so Gira's empty plate was soon replaced by three more full ones. "You read my mind, Piet." The teen immediately began to dig in once more. Pieter Wolfbane

(Lets kickstart this thread back up... Really weird to have this thread name and we just end with only you guys eating!) Pieter popped out a few more burgers in no time, turning off the fryer and the stove top. Waputhi put those plates of burgers and fries in front of the three, a silence had while everyone was eating. Pieter sprayed some water from a bottle he grabbed from under the grill on a shelf, where there were other bottles, as well as a square-like tool that had a scrub and sharp end to drag the fats, grease, and water into a grease trap. He made his way out of the kitchen to the bar. He took up one of the plates of burgers and fries that he put out. "I got it from here Waputhi," Piet told his brother with a pat on the giant hybrid's shoulder, "You guys should probably be headed back home. I imagine our families'll be wanting to hear a bit! I'll send you guys your pay when I got the cash for today's work. Thank you again!"Waputhi patted Piet's own shoulder with a smile, before looking to his crew and stated, "You guys ready?"They all agreed and made their way out the door, leaving Pieter and the 4 alone at the bar. Pieter looked to Arti, realizing he'd never actually talked to him outside of the two fairly brief times they trained together in the Afterlife. When he was awake, he saw Kaula and he training together and socializing a bit more, despite what happened a few years ago. Pieter couldn't engage her, with Vi-Poi having been insane and was much more dangerous at the time! "So Arti," Pieter spoke to him, taking a burger up and taking a bite from it, shoving it to the side of his mouth and speaking rather cleanly, "Since we're talking about King Kai, what was the deal with you and Kaula? Last thing I saw, she shot down that Arcosian guy when you and he chose to try and find the dragon balls for Poi when that guy went crazy..."It was still insane knowing that this very same android, who had a mountain of corpses under him, was friends with Bing and his family and was being viewed like he was Bao! Even Kaula had been murderous, yet she qualified for King Kai's training. Articho had been showing the same signs of 'friendliness' from what Pieter could tell. However, he'd been fairly antisocial during that time, so he wasn't really in those conversations..! ( Articho Reville)
