PL: 144,147 Current Form: Suppressed Heavy Weights: ON Weighted PL: 36,036.75 Koldar Frost
The bronze Arcosian flexed his shoulders as he fitted himself with a new set of weighted armour, since his own had been destroyed along with his original body by Noxa, when Retsu had had him assassinated. One of the perks of a military facility during wartime was the abundance of weighted armour that was left behind whilst their forces fought at their full power. Or at least in the former Emperor's mind they should be. Against foes with access to numerous Super Saiyans, they could not afford to hold back even an iota of energy. Especially if they had to try and survive their attacks. But that was not his concern, at least not right at this moment. Right now his concern was getting himself re-orientated to being alive, as well as increase his power. He could feel that he was on the cusp of something... that or he was still feeling the residual effects of escaping Hell and coming back to life through his own power. Abzerute also wanted to see how far Koldar had come since he'd last encountered the military officer... that or test himself against Koldar's associate. In either case, this would make for a decent little sparring session and work through the kinks in his revived form. "So, how far have you pushed yourself through artificial gravity training?" the bronze Arcosian inquired of the older Commander once he finally arrived from whatever business was keeping him occupied. "Just before I set this chamber to a rating that could accidentally cripple you from the sudden pressure." Abzerute explained with a sly smirk across his face.

(Thread PL: 119,158) It'd been about a couple of hours since Koldar got the message from Abzerute to come to train. The old Arcosian, however, had other business to attend to around the base, beforehand. It led to him having a meeting with a few soldiers in a briefing room, one of which being a doctor having gotten into a brawl. Voca had taken to debriefing the soldiers at that point, leaving Koldar to walk over to the Palace's training dome, which had been recently refurbished and updated! Abzerute had been waiting on Koldar to arrive for a bit, the Supreme Commander imagined, and to that, the Arcosian stated, "My apologies on the wait, Abzerute. I was seeing to some of the recent soldiers we had received recently at the the military institution attached to the palace. A couple of them had acted up against each other and, of all the soldiers, it'd been a medic doing some damage to another! Voca's still over in the base, debriefing and working out those soldiers, so it'll just be us here."He paused a moment, looking around at the dome structure they were in. It'd been greatly enlarged, being about three hundred yards in diameter and being about fifty feet tall. The grounds were a work in progress, meant to train more than just two people, but today, it'd serve as a means for the two Arcosians to let loose a bit more! "What do you think of this restructured building," Koldar would ask Abzerute, "I imagine they're much larger than you remember it. The end goal is to be able to train multiple individuals, comfortably and efficiently, under the gravitational environment! Right now, though, it's really only meant for two, at best, but we can definitely let loose a lot more, compared to the old style it had. It'll eventually be also able to simulate the terrain of a planet, or even a city-scape."Koldar walked over to a pillar, where the command module for the gravity chamber settings was at. He waved Abzerute to come over, intending to teach the younger Arcosian how it operated, and also to set up the environment as well. If Abzerute was going to be leading and owning this facility when Koldar returned the mantle of leader of the Arcosian Empire to Abzerute, then he'd better know how to operate his own palace and everything in it! ( Abzerute I am here! Since you and Botany made the threads at the same time, almost, I chose to restructure this meeting... Hope you don't mind!)

Abzerute raised an eyebrow at the notion of a medic being one of those stirring up conflict amongst the ranks. "Well, that's certainly a twist..." he mused before shrugging. "But, a medic that's not afraid to get their hands dirty in a fight, sounds like something that could prove very useful on the front lines if nothing else." the former Emperor suggested with a slight smirk at the notion of a medic fighting against the Solar Saiyan Empire, or the Mazoku Dominion. With their knowledge of anatomy and such, they would be able to in theory paralyse their opponents by cutting them with their scalpel in certain locations, or other means of debilitation. Koldar shifted the conversation to the architecture and structure of the gravity chamber, nodding in agreement with him as he spoke. "Definitely an improvement on the original. And if its capable of recreating any environment, should prove useful for survival training simulations for any of our soldiers that have to infiltrate enemy territory." the bronze Arcosian mused, as he walked over to observe Koldar work the command console to adjust the settings inside this artificial gravity simulation chamber. A thought occured to Abzerute and he was curious if Koldar was aware of some things. "By any chance have you come across a weapons project that was being undertaken shortly before I was assassinated? Arcosian based androids." he inquired. "A prototype had been constructed and assigned to serve me as a sort of bodyguard unit, designation Hiem-L I think it was."

Abzerute seemed to be impressed by the designs of the training grounds, mentioning how to infiltrate and survive on a planet's surface. Koldar was in agreement of this, and just as he was about to begin explanation of how to operate the new gravity machine, the question of a weapons project, as well as the name drop of Hiem-l was given! With clear surprise, Koldar asked, "Why, yes I have! Was Hiem-l a project of your design, Abzerute? Last I saw it, we just arrived on Arcose several months ago and it just wandered somewhere. A cybernetically enhanced Brenchian of mine was working to help unlock some of their systems before that time. I remember him becoming disappointed one day, suggesting the unit shut down. When I first saw it, it was with Retsu, who was trying to gather Arcosian loyalists on Earth."[/font] ( Abzerute, short post!)

"Not precisely. But I had authorised that he be mass-produced for infiltration and sabotage missions... although I can only assume that this has not been the case under Retsu's quote en quote leadership." mused the bronze Arcosian before shaking his head. "Well, its fate is a mystery for another time." Abzerute said before he walked towards the center of the artificial gravity chamber. "For now, I believe we have some training to do, do we not?" he inquired, taking up a battle stance. He wondered what sort of techniques Koldar had picked up since he'd been gone. Come to think of it, this would actually be the first time that the commander and the former Emperor had actually clashed with one another.
The last time, to Abzerute's memory at least, that him and Koldar had been in a training room had been back with that dark skinned human Beryl Roarke. The thought of that man and how he'd come to become the leader of the Galactic Patrol, a man who Abzerute last knew was scared of the bronze Arcosian, was somewhat amusing. He waited a moment for Koldar to properly prepare himself before he summoned a sphere of energy into his palm. He noted its hue, tinged with purple and green with a raised eyebrow.
"...Really?" he said, slightly exasperatedly with a sigh. "It even permeates my own energy? That bloody little Namekian..." sighed the former Emperor before he looked towards Koldar. "So, ready?" he inquired before he suddenly hurled the bolt towards the older Arcosian, followed swiftly by a volley of more ki blasts.

Abzerute went to explain how the unit's design had been meant for infiltration and sabotage, to assume wasn't fit to serve in Retsu's Empire. That thought ran through Koldar's as a thought that maybe it was ordered to self-terminate due to the highest in command not needing use for it. Consider it was during Koldar's time as simply a commander instead of a ruler, this made sense! It was, perhaps, plausible that the unit could resurface. Outside that, Abzerute seemed extremely eager, to the levels of impatience, to get started, forming energy in his hand as he waited for Koldar to finish setting the chamber up. "Not really ready yet... Guess I'm going to have to adapt quick before he shoots me in a bad spot," Koldar thought to himself, rapidly typing away at the keys, to set the gravity pressure for them to use! The pressure across the large training field would become apparent to both at the same time, Abzerute having been much more used to this pressure than Koldar, as was seen on the older Arcosian's face! Abzerute hurled the bolt of energy at Koldar after asking if he was ready, before he was actually ready! The older warrior leapt to the side in an effort to dodge, using his left hand to keep himself propped on his feet, as well as his tail! He questioned, rhetorically, "Someone's impatient... Been looking forward to this, eh?!"Koldar jumped up, aiming to smack him across the right side of his face, aiming to get him away from the module on the wall! Koldar was intending to show him how to get things working, but Abzerute's impatience told Koldar to hurry the pace up! Only the basic pressure of forty times the Earth's field was made. After the kick, whether it connected or not, Koldar would shoot a ki blast at Abzerute, intending to get distance from the force so that he could get a feel of his body under this pressure! ( Abzerute let our match begin! Let's also see if we can be quick to the responses, as we've got much to cover.)

Well Koldar was adapting to the increased gravity field rather well by all appearances. the bronze Arcosian thought to himself as Koldar dodged out of the way of his initial ki blast, as well as the volley of blasts he had been firing towards him. Abzerute smirked a little at the older Arcosian's question. "I've got a fair bit of pent up frustrations to work through. Despite the locals, Hell really wasn't that much of a place to cut loose surprisingly." he explained, even as Koldar tried to kick him in the face. Abzerute stepped back. dodging the kick by an inch or so, whilst raising an arm up to block the incoming blast from Koldar even as the older commander put some distance between the two of them. "Are you certain you've not fought under this level of gravity before?" the former Emperor inquired of the current incumbent of his seat. "You seem to be moving rather well for someone not accustomed to this increased field of artificial gravity." he pointed out with a smirk. He began to charge power to his fingertip this time around, letting his power build up whilst he allowed the Commander to continue trying to adjust to this level of gravity. It looked like his new body was charging power at a slightly more efficient rate than his original one had, although perhaps only by a few iotas of a percent more so. He had still yet to experience what his new body could fully achieve... there was definitely something more to it, something that his power was trying to make into a reality but he wasn't quite there just yet. This training with Koldar could be the final piece of the puzzle he required in order to get this new body of his to unleash its full potential. Of course, the trick there though was getting it to work as he desired it to. Koldar FrostCharging [N1] Finger Beam Blasts, 66% PL next turn. The kick was dodged, allowing Abzerute the chance to block Koldar's ki blast! Not that it would matter much, as Koldar just needed to prop himself further from the younger Arcosian. Upon landing on the ground, Abzerute was curious to why Koldar was surprisingly nimble for not being used to this gravity. In truth, Koldar wasn't used to this gravity yet. However, he'd tell Abzerute why he was nimble. "This isn't my 100% speed, Abzerute," Koldar stated, holding up his arms in front of him and showing that they were shaking greatly to just be raised up like they were, "What's happening here is a demonstration of both my experience and my fighting style, which is a modified version of a Southern Hemisphere Earth style called Muay Thai. It is the way of the 8 joints in sports, 9 in their human aspects. In this case, though, it is ten, for we Arcosians have the benefit of immensely strong tails! I call it, 'Eps Purah Kahnsh,' or if you prefer the common Earthling tongue, 'The Leader's Branch' or, 'The King's Branch.' Take your pick."If Abzerute were to look closely at the old man's form, he'd be seeing that he was leaning strangely backward while stationary, his tail rather firmly on the ground like it were a third leg supporting the Arcosian's body, while his knees were hunched over! The hunter looked at the younger warrior's finger, seeing he'd been building up energy there. Koldar thought to himself, "Hmm... Testing his grounds right now against me. I'll let him fire it at me, so that I can work my lower half before my upper!"Koldar pounded his chest with his fingers, goading him, "Come, show me what you can do!"( Abzerute your go!) (KP: 3/3)

So, he's not even at his top speed and is able to narrowly dodge my attacks because of some sort of Earthling martial arts? the bronze Arcosian mentally inquired of himself as he looked Koldar over. It certainly seemed to be helping the older warrior's lower body adjust to the increased gravity field with a greater ease than his upper body was. "Curious... it's a wonder then that Earth's population aren't better fighters than the select few who actively do so, with techniques and styles such as this." the former Emperor mused aloud. "Or at the least more combat capable than they are right now."Abzerute pushed that train of thought aside for the moment though as Koldar decided to goad him on into firing at him with his charging power. Shooting at him straight on wouldn't be that effective since he'd be able to dodge to either side of the attack... so since he's not quite got his upper body working to as much capacity as his lower half in this gravity field, let's give that a little bit of an exercise shall we? the bronze Arcosian thought to himself before he took aim and fired off his charged beam of power, aiming straight towards the older Arcosian's face!

(Hey, Abzerute. I just realized you've been using the wrong pl, with the heavy weights on! You should be at 36,036.75, and so your tech should be at 23,784.255, which rounded down would be 23,784) "Don't be so sure on that," Koldar stated aloud, "They have a planet that thrives with hundreds of cultures outside the planetary immigrants they get on a constant basis. That causes a big brewing pot of warriors to arise out the woodwork! Those warriors then get to mature having contact from visiting worlds without having to contact said worlds into decent warriors."Abzerute fired his wave at Koldar, the amount of energy built up in it being a bit miniscule than what Koldar anticipated from the former Emperor! He flooded his arms with energy and brought them forward, forearms raised to guard. The energies collided for a few seconds, before Koldar ripped the energy to his sides with a shout, causing it to split and smash into the ground at his sides! He dusted his forearms, telling him, "Abzerute, I don't know what you're wearing, but you ought to ditch it. I need to know you're strong enough to lead, and you're quite adaptable! Not to mention, we need to get data on what this place can handle so we know what to permit and deny when our troops come here for training. So come on! Show me what you've REALLY GOT!"Koldar patted his chest, before raising hands up in front him in fists and stood on his toes. He wanted to sample more of Abzerute's real strength, not this literal restrained work! Koldar's style of training was strict and unrestrained, unless Koldar told them to put weights on for the particular training session. This time around, Koldar didn't want Abzerute hiding what he could do! (Koldar uses Eps Purah Kahnsh Level 1 (N1) to cancel out [N1] Finger Beam Blasts! The bronze Arcosian slumped his shoulders and sighed as the older Arcosian literally split his attack in twain with his guard, even as Koldar berated him for wearing the weighted armour that had reduced his power to such a degree. "I was planning on having you consider it a handicap till you adjusted to the gravity in this chamber. I had also been hoping to improve my power somewhat through this session... but if you insist on facing my full power." he said, rolling his shoulders and allowing the armour to fall from his body with a crash into the ground, forming a slight crater.
Abzerute cracked his neck from side to side, as well as his knuckles before he smirked. "I wonder, how well does that Eps Purah Kahnsh hold up against a foe with more limbs than yourself?" he inquired of the older Arcosian before he let loose a roar as two new arms sprouted from his lower chest, just below his current arms. He took in a long breath before releasing it, his new hands flexing as they adjusted themselves to the environment. "Right, got to bear that in mind... damn it that hurts." the former Emperor said with a hiss, shaking his head a little to clear it from the pain of suddenly growing fully functional arms.
He looked over towards Koldar, wondering what his reaction to seeing him suddenly sprout more limbs was. "A little quirk of my new body. Turns out when you die, you're reduced to a mere puffball, and then have to go about getting a new body in whichever end of the afterlife you find yourself in." the bronze Arcosian explained for Koldar's benefit before he suddenly rushed towards the man, all four of his arms balling up into fists. "Here I come!" he declared as he began to throw a flurry of punches towards the older Arcosian, his main arms aiming for the man's face and chest, whilst his lower arms would try to strike him in the gut and chest as well.

Abzerute admitted to holding back intentionally, so that Koldar can adjust more to the weight, but decided to release the weights! His power easily shot above Koldar's strength, but not to the point Koldar was being outclassed. If anything the age difference between the two was making this difference! Koldar smiled and replied, "It is known that individuals improve better when they adjust to situations that aren't in much control! We've not fought each other before and don't want to have you scuffed up because your weights hold you down..."Right afterwards, Abzerute asked about how the style fairs against someone with multiple limbs. Koldar hadn't the chance to test it out, but he imagined it'd not be a problem. The former emperor proceeded to let a painful roar out, bringing out 2 additional limbs from his back! It seemed to cause Abzerute some strain, panting for a bit while his newly grown arms clenched and moved. "Seems like that's a stressful technique," Koldar inquired, "Is this part of whatever training you underwent when you became 'KIA'?"Koldar stated this last part facetiously. He didn't exactly believe Abzerute was slain. Incapacitated, yes! Yet, the bronze Arcosian seemed intent to drive that home, describing that their bodies would be like clouds in this claimed afterlife and had to do some work to get a body once more. This may had been a rouse, though, for Abzerute charged at Koldar and announced it too! "That's more like it!"Two hands came at Koldar's face, while the other two came towards Koldar's abs! He brought his up across his face, and used his tail and right knee to block the lower blows. The impact, compared to before, was much greater, causing him to hurl backwards, his own fists nearly smack his face from the impact! His tail managed to block this punches, too, but it felt like sledgehammers pounding it. It forced his posture to lean back, to nearly falling on his back, had his feet's toes not been breaking the floor beneath them to just keep himself up! "Strong..! Have to take care of the extra limbs," Koldar thought to himself, his entire body tighting up to keep the weight under him, "Those extra limbs ought to be a bit cumbersome and be taking away some of his raw power just by being there... Let's test that out!"Koldar shoved into Abzerute, hoping to create a gap and wrap up his bottom right arm, so that he could dislocate it and eliminate one of his 7 limbs! ( Abzerute to you! The pressure begins! )

"Actually surprisingly not." said Abzerute in answer to Koldar's question about the training he'd underwent in Hell. He felt his upper fists connecting with the older Arcosians arms, even as his lower fists slammed into the commander's tail. The satisfaction of literally forcing Koldar to bend before him was quite invigorating. And he hadn't even tried out anything new in terms of techniques, besides growing a secondary pair of arms. If he could achieve this, then what would the result be like if the former Emperor could grow yet another pair of arms? In his musings Koldar managed to grab hold of his lower right arm! This could prove a problem, although there was a way to turn this to his advantage. He had been wondering how this technique of his would work out with his numerous appendages... Well, no time like the present to give it a test run debut, and Koldar had asked for him to go all out against him. "Oh dear... Commander, haven't you ever heard the Earth phrase?" inquired Abzerute with a dangerous smirk as he gathered power into all four of his palms, forming spheres of darkened energy, reminiscent of a certain technique that Koldar should be familiar with since he'd taken up the post of Supreme Commander. "Never catch a tiger by its tail." he said before he tried to slam the four spheres of destructive energy right into the older Arcosian at near point blank range! "Or something like that I believe." the bronze Arcosian corrected himself with a shrug. This should not only force Koldar to remove himself from him, but also dish out some decent damage, which in the end was what the military trained Arcosian had wanted after all. Abzrute made no attempt to stop Koldar's actions, immediately anyway. Koldar found his arm much more difficult to move, a build up of energy tingling Koldar's senses!
"Alright, this isn't working," Koldar thought to himself, backing away immediately. However, Koldar wasn't going to be able to, with 4 energy balls with the same power were closing in on him! The older Arcosian had a smirk on his face, though, as the energy closed in on him. The energy collided on his location, creating a bright flash of light that shook the building only a tiny bit.
Smoke covered the area briefly where Koldar was. However, Abzerute's senses were undoubtedly telling him that Koldar had moved, fast, to dodge the attack! He'd been situated at the younger Arcosian's side, diving fist first at the multi-armed Arcosian's face! He wasn't using his energy quickly, wanting this to last so that he could give Abzerute an evaluation of his thoughts on what the young Arcosian should do to improve himself. He had also wanted to see how his style could work against one like the arcosian, too!
(Koldar immediately stops trying to dislocate an arm, realizing you could make more and energy was building up. He then dodges, using Afterimage (SU2) to dodge the technique, and is coming back with a diving fist to Abzerute's face!)

That took a bit more out of him than he'd expected it to. The bronze Arcosian panted a little as the smoke filled the area where Koldar had just been, his senses tracing the older Arcosian's location through their energy. For someone who hadn't yet adapted to this increased level of gravity, he was definitely able to put out a high burst of speed if the situation required it.
Abzerute brought up both arms on the side Koldar was coming from in a straight defensive block, forming a sort of fleshy wall or fence. The former Emperor's plan was a simple one. He would allow Koldar to make contact and then he would try to grab hold of Koldar's arm that landed the first blow with one of the arms on that side, and then twist around so that he can try and slam down both of his other side's fists straight into the older Arcosian's face.
