Contact! Koldar's fist certainly landed it, but to the Arcosian's extra limbs. Koldar gritted his teeth, his fist remaining there briefly as he thought to himself, "Damn this old body..! If I were twenty years younger, I'd have adjusted earlier and broke his defense. I have to-"His thoughts stopped, one of the hands grabbing at his forearm and yanking it down. "Graaah!"He grunted this out, trying to rebalance himself so he wasn't going to be forcefully planted face first to the hard floor beneath them. Koldar would be able to do this... Only, he was having his face polished by the very fists of Abzerute that blocked his counter attack! They would connect, but due to the way the extra limbs were, the potency of the fists' contact was lost. He staggered back a step, but he quickly recovered from that, a grin on his wrinkly face. "Not a bad set of punches... But I've been hit worse! Here's what a private-ranked soldier's fist will be like when I train them," Koldar spoke up, green energy quite similar to the green 'gems' upon his head, arms, and legs enveloped his free left hand! It was clearly potent, a flame-like dance being performed with Koldar hurling it right towards the Bronze Arcosian's chest. The nature behind it would tell Abzerute that, if he were to take this, it was going to send him hurtling towards the ceiling soaring above them! (Koldar is caught in his thoughts after coming in contact with the spare limbs with his fist, only to feel the damage from the fists smacking him in the face after being yanked down feeling weaker than he expected! In return, he aims to demonstrate how a private's punch will be like once he's trained them with an Eps Purah Kahnsh, Level (N1)! Should this hit, it'll send Abzerute rocketing up to the ceiling of the building!) (KP: 1/3 from 2/3 for N1 usage) (PL: 119,158) (Eps Purah Kahnsh, Level 1 (N1) PL: 39,719 (rounded down)) ( Abzerute)

That... was not the desired effect he had envisioned his double punch to have had on the older Arcosian. The bronze Arcosian grit his teeth as he saw the fist coming towards him. Whilst he was capable of dodging it, doing so would mean that Koldar would have the stamina advantage since evading such a move from this close a range would mean having to pull off the same trick that the Commander had done to him earlier. He also wanted to see what this little Earthling come Arcosian technique was capable of besides evading and moving around in higher gravity fields.
As he felt the punch connect, his grip on the older Arcosian weakened until it was a case of letting him go as he went flying into the ceiling above them. He coughed a little as he worked himself free from the ceilings structure, power gathering at his fingertips as he saw an opportune moment present itself. "True my physical techniques need some work... but, can the same be said regarding your energy based ones?!" Abzerute inquired before he let loose an arcing wave of dark energy that screamed down towards the older Arcosian. From this vantage point in the air, he could target Koldar wherever he was, regardless of where he dodged to. One moments defeat can turn the course of a battle into a victory, if one knew how to take advantage of it that was.
Took the Eps Purah Kahnsh Level 1 [N1] hit.

Koldar's attack landed, and it got Abzerute to not only release his arm, but also fly all the way up at the ceiling! The moment his arm was released, Koldar thought to himself, "... That would've been bad! Gotta get out of the stupid zone, Koldar..!"Abzerute pulled himself out of the structure, giving a cough before speaking, energy enveloping his hand, too! He questioned if Koldar's ranged energy attacks needed improvement, to which he admitted half caringly, his body building up the remainder of his energy once more, "Aye, but that matters not!"Koldar directed the energy to his foot, which he then kicked upwards to the incoming beam! He struggled against the energy, being pushed back by the energy with it pressing against heel. With a roar of all his remaining strength, he sent the energy upward, to the ceiling. However, the force sent Koldar in a wild pin wheel in the middle of air! ( Abzerute used Eps Purah Kahnsh, level 1 (n1) again to negate the attack! However, Koldar had been sent into a wild pin wheel spin for doing so.) (KP: 0/3 from 1/3) (Pl: 119,158)

The bronze Arcosian gave a smirk as the older Arcosian behaved exactly as he had thought he would. Koldar had focused so much on building up his physical techniques that against a ranged one such as this, he had no recourse but to respond with one that placed himself in a precarious position. And his wild spinning as a result of their techniques colliding was the result of such a flaw in his capabilities. Abzerute evaded the returned after effects of his attack that Koldar had sent towards the ceiling, descending down till he was level with the free-wheeling commander.
"That must be a little nauseating for you. I know I'm starting to feel a little queezy just from watching you." the former Emperor remarked with a smirk. "Allow me to help rectify your situation." he said, flexing out one of his hands to direct his energies before utilising his telepathic abilities to try and forcibly slam the older Arcosian down into the Gravity Chambers floor.
Only fitting since he'd sent Abzerute up into the ceiling earlier on. Quid pro quo as the saying goes. "The physical realm is but one part of the battle. Wars are won as much in the mind as they are in the flesh, as I'm sure you're aware sir." he mused as he came down to land on the ground a few feet away from where Koldar had hopefully impacted down into.
"Perhaps we should call it there for the time being... you're out of energy, and you've seen what I'm capable of in terms of physical, energy and now mental based combat techniques." suggested the bronze Arcosian.

"Stop, damn it, st-"Koldar was thinking this, using his energy to provide counter pressure to stop the spin. Only, he did stop, but due to the younger Arcosian! It seemed they gathered the potential to use telekinetic abilities, hurling Koldar to the floor and talking about his weariness. Koldar ripped out of the ground with a kick, before dusting himself off and stating, "I could go longer, once I catch my breath... And same could be said of you, from what I see!"He laughed a bit with the statement, waving for Abzerute to come sit with him and recover his energy, too, in this crater they made. Koldar sat at the edge of and laying his legs straightly down the rickety slope. He wanted to talk to Abzerute a bit more, to get a handle on things are, so he told him just that! "Abzerute, come down and have a seat with me. I've a need to discuss some things with you, while we catch our breath. For instance, I believe I've not told you about Wyntre still being alive, have I? My old brain may be forgetting that..."( Abzerute, lets get to chatting! Also, you should be at 2/3 KP this coming post. )

"If you insist." said the bronze Arcosian to his older counterpart when Koldar said he could go on with their sparring for much longer than this. Although it seemed that he was open to the idea of them taking a break for the time being at least, and the offer was one he would take him up on. He sat himself down beside the military Arcosian, his lower arms resting on the floor beside him whilst his upper ones rested on his legs. It was... a little tricky to sit down and find someway to make two sets of arms comfortable along with his tail, but after some shifting around, the younger Arcosian managed to find some way of doing so. Koldar brought up the question of him informing Abzerute regarding Wyntre, but he shook his head. "No I don't believe you had, although given Arcose's revival along with its entire population I had theorised she would be restored as well." he said, sighing and leaning back a little. "I'll admit, during my tenure as Emperor, I always suspected that once the Empire was truly re-established and was stable that Wyntre would swoop back in and just reclaim the throne, as if nothing had ever happened... Imagine my surprise when that little bastard appeared and had his child-creature thing do the job for him..." the bronze Arcosian admitted. "All that work... and Retsu nearly destroyed it with his desire for war. The damned idiot." he growled. "So eager for retribution and vengeance against the SSE for nearly erasing us the last time, and he wanted us to just dive on in, when we had nobody who could go toe to toe with just one Super Saiyan, let alone the veritable army of them that the Saiyans have..." Abzerute said, the bitterness evident in his words. "Well, whatever corner of existence he's cowering in, I hope he's happy... the bastard got what he wanted, but at what cost?" he asked, slightly rhetorically.

"Ah, so I didn't," he spoke. He spoke with brevity, "I know not how she cheated death, or if she even died in the battle against the sse the first time around but when Retsu came to Earth to personally bring the loyalists of the empire and soldiers off Earth, she made a brief appearance where he landed."Abzerute theorized that when Arcose miraculously revived, that she was too. On top of that, he believed Wyntre would try to retake the throne, too! He then spoke of Retsu again, and the special forces leader that he called, 'A child-creature.' Resentment towards the fellow militant dripped from his tongue in his obvious sarcasm. He had worked the hardest thus far between the 4 emperors after Wyntre's disastrous era. Koldar patted a hand on the young man's shoulder, telling him, "Sulking ain't going to be what leads the Empire to success. Hard work and improving yourself so that doesn't happen again will!"The old emperor put his hands on his knees, looking at straight and having a far off look about him. He spoke bluntly as he explained, "Retsu was not entirely wrong for trying to go to war. And his starting a coup is not uncommon in our history. The last coup before that was sired by Wyntre, if I recall from the historical records. However, before her, back in the 80s, the Emperor of that time was taken out by a disgrace of a General, who we ended up having to take out purselves for the assembly to rightfully put a new Emperor on the throne... I've seen much in my time and I know I will be seeing a few more things before my encroaching death. However, I intend to wipe out the means for our ancient stupidity to flourish! It is a plan involving you, and others in the Empire... Or as it shall become, a Federation of Planets. Before I tell you this plan Voca and I have been working on behind the scenes, let me ask you this: What is the greatest flaw of an Arcosian Leader?"( Abzerute) (Kp: 2/3)

"She definitely died... the damned imp down in Hell mentioned training her, so I know precisely what she's capable of. As well as the drawbacks and limitations to the techniques she learned during her tenure in that infernal realm." Abzerute confirmed for Koldar, although he doubted that the man would ever believe him. It was definitely something one had to experience for themselves. He chuckled softly at the older Arcosians somewhat reassuring words regarding Abzerute's sulking as he put it. "Quite right. One things for sure, if I ever see him with that thing of his again, I won't give them the same opportunity for negotiation as I had last time." he affirmed.
He sat there and listened to Koldar give a history lesson of sorts, nodding slightly as he agreed with him on several points. "No Retsu was not wrong as you say... his timing however was absolutely atrocious. A firm believer of "whilst the iron is hot" I believe is the correct phrase." Abzerute mused whilst the older military Arcosian continued his speech. He apparently was working on turning the Empire into a Federation of Planets, to which he couldn't help but laugh at. "Apologies, but I had to threaten to obliterate their fiefdoms, or straight up replace them in order to get the various worlds leaders to stop their squabbling and unite back into a single entity after the Empire fragmented." he said. "I can only imagine how well a Federation of Planets would fare given their little power hungry leanings." said the bronze Arcosian.
When Koldar posed the question to him about the greatest flaw of an Arcosian Leader, he rubbed his chin a little in thought. "Depends on the leader in question... Wyntre was too prone to complacency, Retsu was too hasty, and I was I will admit perhaps a touch tunnel visioned in my focus regarding reforging the Empire." said Abzerute. "However, I'm presuming you mean a shared flaw... and that would be centralisation of power. All of it or at the least most of it, focused on an individual." he said in answer to the older Arcosians question.
"I had let each world focus on its own affairs during my tenure, since they already had established communication lines etcetera, in an attempt to create a certain semi-autonomy, which would have allowed me to focus on the Empire at large rather than the minutia..." he explained before raising an eyeridge. "But I suspect your proposing something a little more than that."

Abzerute focused on giving a long, very educated guess at where Koldar was going with this. He focused on Wyntre's issue, Retsu's issue, and even made a gamble at his own, which wasn't entirely wrong! However, his real guess was at how, 'Power,' was centralized at an individual, and Koldar snapped his thumb and middle finger with a pointing afterwards! "Right you are," Koldar retorted, "Although not focusing on the species, you've hit the nail on the head."Koldar stood up, managing to stay straight despite standing in the crater slope with outstretched arms. He continued, "Once we become complacent with our own power, that complacency becomes the end of us! Even in my personal leadership, we've not established a means of maintaining order, even when one of the leaders falls... And it has repeated this trend since your leadership! Which is why I am conceiving a new planet, for which all planets within our space are to follow; in a Federation of Planets!"The current Emperor walked out of the crater, his arms still outstretched as he looked at the structure they were in, his body having become familiar with the intensive environment. "The universe is as, 'wild,' and, 'outrageous,' as this dome we're in right now," he explained, "There is a definitive code, or mass that we all could work with and manipulate! Only we become complacent and always think, 'This particular thing won't work,' even though on paper, after working out every proverbial solution, it is quite possible! However, we don't express it because of the infinite odds placed against it, and thus, we disregard it, especially during times of peace... However, soldiers like me, when we first see that, and express our options, we'll take the route that's probable to get the mission done! Despite me being Emperor, I want to take these big risks. Risks like having the Planet Arcose being run by the 3 rulers before I..!"Koldar looked back Abzerute, pointing at him before immediately continuing, "Unlike me, you are the only ruler amongst the three who've yielded the greatest success among the Empire; The one who the people and even soldiers respect! Despite having great amounts of power, you made an effort to maintain the identity of each of the worlds that rest in the Arcosian Space. Wyntre didn't maintain it, nor did Retsu maintain it because they NEVER had to deal with Arcose, our homeworld, being out of the picture... Wyntre would only understand that because it was under her watch that Arcose was lost during yours and Retsu's lineage!"(KP: 3/3) ( Abzerute)

It seems that he'd managed to correctly suss out what Koldar had been suggesting. He remained seated as the older Arcosian got up and started to wander around, listening to his speech and plan for what he felt had to be done regarding the leadership and fate of the Empire. He processed the words of the Commander before sighing and standing up, his second set of arms deciding to retract back into his body, thus returning him to his normal physical state. "Assuming I'm understanding your intentions correctly, there's one small and yet incredibly massive barrier to surmount." the bronze Arcosian mused. "Wyntre and Retsu's own egos." he stated. "Assuming I was open to the notion of being a part of this Triumvirate leadership you're proposing as a replacement for the Emperor position, you'd then have to convince both of the others, assuming they were the ones whom you'd had in mind to form the other two pillars." Abzerute pointed out. "That is an inherent part of the flaw we were just discussing... The allure of sovereign power in a single individual. That and I trust Retsu to not try and stab either myself or Wyntre in the back, about as far as I could throw this chamber in my current state." he said, slightly sardonically as he gestured to the gravity chamber itself they were in.

"You're not wrong... Especially right, I'd say," Koldar retorted, getting up off his rear end. His arms were weary, but he could go for another 3 rounds at most, perhaps. He looked to Abzerute and explained, "Ego, however, is good to have. However, I intend to make it so their ego must account for the structure that will be the Arcosian Federation of Planets. I've met Wyntre and felt her power, as well as that Majin girl with her. They are strong, but their defeat has wounded their pride. When they come, and they will, they will find a government they will have to adjust to and learn! If they do not, they will find there'll be no way for them to do so. As much as it pains me to do admit this, she did try to defend Arcose to its dying breath... That defeat will not be absolved from her soul for as long as she lives. However, she went into hiding on a planet that chose not to come assist us despite that, for a thousand years, we were allies with, and were even allies with the SSE and Namek! She and any who failed to defend these worlds in the Empire will find, that in this Federation of Planets, they will be forgiven... And that is how we shall begin teaching you, Wyntre, and Retsu the new ways! For now, I must show you some more about this fighting style I've developed for the soldiers!"
Koldar assumed his previous fighting position a couple of meters away from Abzerute. He asked, with a smile, "Before, you have mentioned that it is an issue I have no ranged attacks, correct?"
The older Arcosian's energy enveloped his body once more, feeling no stronger than when he struck before. Yet, his body seemed to develop a strangely physical attraction to the younger Arcosian. The sensation was slowly building up, along with the power of the technique. It was as if Koldar was syncing up to Abzerute!
"This technique, which I have yet to fully develop, is something I call the, 'Soldier's Unrelenting Fist,'" Koldar explained to Abzerute, waving his hand for Abzerute to a direction he'd not care much about, "I'd like to make a bet with you! In whatever way you can, try to dodge this punch. Run around the room as much as you'd like, and feel free to shoot your blasts, too! A gentleman's bet, to be precise. Nothing too drastic."
(Koldar explains how he believes they should be able to convince Wyntre to help them out, before wishing to resume the spar with a gentleman's bet that he could hit Abzerute, even if he were to fire a blasts at long range.)

"So a blanket pardon of sorts for all those who failed us in the past. I'll admit, it's an interesting way to incentivise people to return if they believed they were on the run or ashamed." he said even as he took up a position a few more meteres away from where Koldar had positioned himself in relation to the bronze Arcosian. Apparently he had been developing a technique that he felt would be able to land a blow against him, regardless of what he attempted to do to deflect or evade it.
Abzerute spread open his palm, gathering energy into it and compressing it into the shape of a sphere, that that arced with energy around its surface. "Very well, power for power. Let's see if this unrelenting fist of yours can handle a direct blast of equal strength, and still seek out its target." he mused, letting the energy in his palm grow and expand and coalesce.

Koldar waited for the younger Arcosian to stand and vocalize his thoughts. He seemed to agree this would be a good idea, to at least give them reason to listen to what he has to say. He then summoned forth what Koldar thought was the deathball, eyes widening as he pondered, "Wait, is he actually angry?!"The energy flowing into the ball, though, was greatly lower, from what his senses told him. It reassured the Supreme Commander, as he flickered forth, his energy having built up substantially enough! It was going to be a clash of force! "Let's see how we do," Koldar bellowed out, having rapidly encroached upon Abzerute. He leaped up at Abzerute, his energy having localized to his elbows evenly, with his left knee thrusting forth. He would have to 'crunch' the energy blast apart so that he could land the knee strike, to at least land his blow and win the gentleman! ( Abzerute Fist of the Soldiers (V2, Homing) coming at ya!) The reaction on Koldar's face was absolutely priceless. "Relax. I'm not insane enough to use the Death Ball in a training scenario." he said to reassure the older Arcosian. "This is just something that I derived from it that resembles that technique. A little deception to force the enemies hand if they're not as adept at sensing energy levels." the bronze Arcosian explained.
As Koldar made his attack run, Abzerute was admittedly a little baffled. The military Arcosian was closing the gap, seeking to slam his technique into him... he had been under the impression that this special move of his was going to be of the ranged variety, even though Koldar had described it as a punch. No matter. Whatever this Fist Of The Soldiers trick of Koldar's that he was so eager about would still be too weak to get past his Death Orb technique. Now came the curious part of this little gentlemans bet. Koldars energy was focused in his elbows for some reason, even as his left knee struck forward towards Abzerute.
Was the goal of this technique to use the knee as the spear before bringing the elbows around to slam down on the opponent? If that was the case, then Koldar's technique could do with some serious alterations... Planning to use your elbows for a close quarters technique requires you to get extremely close to your opponent, thus leaving you vulnerable to a counter-attack if you screwed up even one small part of your plan. A fact that Abzerute was going to make the older Arcosian painfully aware of.
He brought his Orb forward, aiming to have the lower portion of it intercept the man's knee strike whilst the upper half of it would be in position to block Koldar's elbows if that was indeed how this technique of his worked. It was somewhat ironic to use a technique like this as a pseudo barrier, albeit only because of its relative size and shape allowing it to do so.

Abzerute brought up an orb was scarily remiscent of the Death ball to block Koldar's fist! However, it didn't come close to having even half its value. The Supreme Commander drove his fist into the orb, creating pulses of pressure going out. The orb, Koldar would see, had been getting pushed in at first. Koldar thought to himself, "Come on... Pop it so I can get at him!"Koldar's power, he'd find, was not enough. It was like the pressure of the balloon was simply pushing around Koldar's hand. He could feel the pressure gap between his hand and Abzerute's being only half a centimeter apart! Eventually, however, Koldar was pushed back, the kinetic force in him having exited and dismantled the energy in Abzerute's death orb! He skidded a couple of meters away, kneeling with his other hand on the ground to stop himself quick. He gasped, his tail flicking in an agitated manner behind himself. He looked to Abzerute, a smile on his face as he stated aloud, "Well then... That sorta made this gentleman's bet moot... Good counter, though!"( Abzerute, techniques have both neutralized each other!) (KP: 0/3)
