''Edgy kids...?'' A lonesome soul muttered to herself, floating around impatiently, as if she were waiting for something...Or rather, someone. ''Edgy kid.'' She again muttered the words, followed by an annoyed groan. Her wispy form hovered closer to the ground and sank into it, creating a disappointed, unhappy puddle of Kaza's soul. ''I'll show him 'edgy'...What an asshole.'' Kaza's even higher pitched voice rang through the area, filled with resentment and annoyance. Her words were directed at Yemma, the giant burly ogre that had sentenced her to Hell mere moments ago.
''Does he NOT know who I am...!?''
Kaza's soul rose itself from the ground in all of its grandiose arrogance. Thinking she was above nearly everyone else that wasn't affiliated with the SSE- classic Kaza. Ofcourse, a couple of people were exempt from that train of thought, most notably Xylo and his edgy egg boy, Ourobouros. Even thinking about them made her nonexistand blood boil...THEY were the ones that killed her...Something she couldn't help...
But, was it really their fault that Kaza died? Or was it simply because Kaza herself was too weak?
It was quite hard to accept your own weakness, especially for the small Majin Officer. She continued to float around aimlessly, mostly keeping her thoughts and annoyance to herself now. Kaza didn't want to drag out the attention of the Ogre Police, not because she feared them, but simply because of how annoying they were. Prodding and bullying around powerless souls...They must think themselves REALLLL important, smacking their authority around like that.
...Wait, that's the exact same thing Kaza had been doing in the living world...
''Did...Did I do something...wrong?'' The floaty Majin soul asked herself confusedly, catching herself red-handed with her own hypocrisy. She pondered the question mentally as she kept floating into a single direction, suddenly feeling a wave of doubt hit her like a storm. Kaza thought she had vanquished all sense of doubt from herself when she absorbed her Good side...So why was she feeling this way, now?
Why was she doubting everything about herself, this suddenly?
Was it...Because she died? Had her death finally given her the smack of 'Reality' that she had been asking for all this time? Kaza groaned heavily, reaching a larger clearing from the path she was going down. A large square of some sort, with a large fountain right smack in the middle. It oozed a familiar red liquid near-constantly, and Kaza caught herself staring at it for quite a long time. Her mind continued to wander...
''Did I do something wrong...''
''...Maybe.''
Kaza sighed a lonely sigh, her cloudy soul slithering down the bark of a larger tree. Her eyes still locked on the fountain, she simply stared at it, feeling quite...Empty, and concerned. She had no idea what was happening in the Living World now, and could only hope the best.
Yeah...Hope. That really is all she could do.

Well, if Kaza wasn't an "Edgy Kid", Tomo was certainly on the right track to becoming one quite fast. Trudging past the Blood Pond for what seems like, and probably was, the thousandth time, Tomoyo sluggishly dragged his legs through the red dirt of Hell, no real destination or goal in mind... after all, where was there to go? Kicking a rock into the air, the child did not even pause to look as the discolored stone plopped into the pond... truly, he was broken inside.
...but really, could someone even blame him? The hybrid child has been through so much for someone so young. He's been systematically let down, betrayed, and eventually brutally murdered by his friends and family before being sent to an afterlife where he soon after immersed himself in depressing solitude and futility, only to be given hope after falling to hell by reuniting with an old friend, ONLY for that friend to abandon him again like the ones prior by leaving hell and him behind months prior! If anything, it's a miracle that Tomoyo hasn't killed himself already... or killed himself again to be more accurate.
"...Why...?" The despondent child murmured under his breathe, not changing course in the slightest as he slowly began to pass by Kaza. It was the question that was on his mind, the question that encompassed everything and nothing at the same time. Why? Why him? Why did all these things happen to him? Why was he always so weak? Why did it take him dying to gain an ounce of strength? Why did everyone always abandon him? Why did he have to die? Why couldn't he find the way to get out of Hell when so many before him had done so as well!? Why, Why, "Why... WHY...!?"
As if repeating it over and over would eventually give him some semblance of an answer, the distraught and apathetic half Saiyan continued on his way past the confused Majin's soul, paying it not mind. What was there to pay mind anyway? It was just another wordless spirit like he had once been, sent to suffer in the eternal damnation that was all of their existence's background forever.
What was the point in any of this?

Kaza's wispy soul raised a curious, nonexistant eyebrow as she laid her sights on the stampeding child. Mindlessly circling the Blood Pond that Kaza miraculously stumbled upon. ''Why...?'' She whispered to herself, parroting the kid's words. Kaza sighed out- yeah, 'why', what a great question. Very specific.
The thing is, it wasn't really hard to guess what the kid was questioning and raging about. He too was here, in Hell, and at such a young age...? He probably got killed too, or died in some freak accident like some incompetent loser. But to be sent to Hell while so young? He must've done some pretty terrible things in life to end up here...
Atleast, that's the only thing Kaza could assume.
Judging from his unstable nature, the Majin assumed he probably murdered some people during a temper tantrum. Kaza too used to have ridiculous temper tantrums that lead to people dying. Takes one to know one, as they say, right?
''Yeah. Why.'' Kaza floated upwards, finally deciding to pay the kid some actual attention. It's not like she had anything better to do, right? Then, though, a sudden thought occured to her as she looked at the child. She squinted her wispy, cloudy eyes, following the upset kid closely...
He had a body...!
''How...Why!? Maybe...Maybe I can...Get him to tell me.'' The Majin thought to herself, sighing internally as she began floating toward the kid. ''Try and be nice, now, this kid might be your ticket to a body.'' Kaza repeated to herself mentally, making sure not to start insulting or screaming at him, as she usually ended up doing to people she didn't like.
''Boo.'' Kaza let out loud and clear as she floated right behind the upset child. The Majin hoped it was enough to grab his attention, and if he turned around, he'd be met by Kaza's floaty, wispy soul.
''Guess I'm not the only one that isn't really happy being here.''
Kaza remained silent for a light second, the underside of her ghosty soul flicking and swishing around mystically. She looked the kid up and down- must've been no older than ten, she thought. Admittedly, she was still curious as to how the kid ended up here- what he'd done, who ended his life, and why he was being such a grump about it. Then again, she couldn't expect a kid to really accept their death as easily as she might have done.
''Hope I'm not bothering, but all those 'ogres' do is boss me around, it's beyond infuriating.'' The Majin's soul let out in a high-pitched, sour chirp. She was really choosing her words carefully, trying her best not to upset the child even further, or make him get angry at her in someway. Usually she'd never go through the effort, and just mock him for being such a pansy ass...But the fact that he still had his body meant that Kaza needed him.
...For now.
''So, uh...What's your name? How'd you end up here...? Didn't think I'd find a kid here in Hell...Because- you know...Only the 'wicked, evil souls' are sentenced to this place, or whatever.'' Kaza would shrug if she could. Instead she simply floated around impatiently some more as she blandly recited the 'Rules of the Afterlife', as some Ogres had told her in a scolding manner. She didn't really give two shits what the Ogres, or Yemma, thought of her and her actions.
Maybe she really was Evil...At this point, she couldn't care less.
Its hard to care about anything when you're dead.

Completely absorbed in his own misguided misery, it was no surprise at all that the apathetic child payed almost no heed as one particular soul belonging to a malignant Majin came floating over to him. After all, all these souls were the same; hoards of the departed that payed no attention to him... so why should he bother paying attention to them? Of course though, that didn't matter so much when they were quietly watching him from a distance; interacting with the despondent boy was another matter entirely.
Boo.
Lifting his head in confusion, Tomoyo's eyes widened ever so slightly before silently trailing around the area, trying to find the source of the voice. His gaze had passed over the silent Kaza more than twice in search of someone that actually stood out from the monotony; after all, none of the souls to date had interacted with him beforehand? "...who?" Tomo muttered to himself, starting to doubt whether he had actually heard someone speak, or merely imagined the voice in his mind to subconsciously stir himself from the continuous inane ramblings.
"Maybe... I am going crazy..." The hybrid thought to himself, shaking his head as if trying to shake away the crazies away from his mind. He'd lasted so long, he couldn't be losing it all here! It wasn't until the voice spoke again, this time right in front of his face that the boy could finally and safely assume he wasn't going crazy. He was just seeing and talking to dead people like a normal person in hell!
Peering closer at Kaza as she remarked on their shared unhappiness, Tomoyo finally began to really notice how different this soul in particular looked. It wasn't a shapeless wispy-white cloud like all the "normies" coming from the check-in station, and her azure spirit did not even bare the resemblance of a person with a ghostly tail for legs. No; this one was an oddity... so maybe that was the reason that he was even being approached by it.
Admiring the indigo haze blurring from Kaza's swishing movements, Tomoyo brightened up a little to respond. He may have been borderline-depressed, but he wasn't going to be rude to someone that wanted to be his friend. "H-Hi... no, it's fine. You're not bothering me." he chirped, still overcoming the shock that someone (or at least a part of someone) was talking to him after so long. "I'm Tomoyo...can I help you?" Not that he was complaining about the contact, lord knows he needed it.
How'd you end up here...? Didn't think I'd find a kid here in Hell...Because- you know...
Frowning at Kaza's observation, Tomoyo was about to cry out in indignation before catching himself as the words primed to come out. He couldn't really blame her for thinking that... if it was a her. (It was just a "bit" difficult to tell genders based off the voice of an almost featureless soul) People sent to hell were bad people... killers, villains, meanies and bad guys alike... It was ironic really; the person Tomoyo had thought was good at heart murdered him after showing her true colors, eventually sending him to a place where he was only thought of as evil.. too bad he was too young to appreciate the irony of it; Tomoyo didn't even know what Irony was!
"I...I didn't do anything...?" He murmured weakly, as if a part of him now was a little unsure as to whether he was really telling the truth. "I fell from up there... and got stuck." If he was so blameless then why DID all these bad things keep happening to him? It couldn't just be coincidence... maybe all of it was his fault.
Trying to hold back the tears and sobs of self pity, the self-doubting half Saiyan concentrated on the person in front of him, his tone releasing trace bits of cynicism with every word that followed. "But it doesn't matter... No matter where I am, nothing changes..." It was a sad fact... but true nevertheless. He could be alive on Earth or back on Planet Vegeta, In heaven or in hell, and the result would always be the same.
He was alone.

For a moment Kaza waited impatiently, and annoyedly. She was floating right behind the guy, yet he had the audacity to just flat-out ignore her, and pretend she didn't exist. Either that, or he was starting to become delusional due to his time spent in this god-forsaken place. She hoped it was the latter, it'd make extracting information out of him all the more easier.
When he finally did turn around and acknowledge Kaza's existance, though, she let out a wispy sigh. While asking her questions, though, she couldn't help but notice just how amazed the kid looked by Kaza's spirit form. The Majin had no idea why he seemed so shocked about her approach- was it her appearance? It WOULD'VE been odd, seeing a mystic cloud person float up to you...
...But, they were in the Afterlife, and these things were normal here.
So was it the fact that Kaza approached the poor sucker in the first place? What a sad realization...
The boy seemed to force a smile on his own face, introducing himself in the most unconfident manner Kaza ever saw. ''Tomoyo, huh?'' Kaza replied. She wanted to groan out of annoyance oh so badly, as she hated unconfident crybabies like him with a burning passion. Yet, for now, she had no choice but to refrain. ''Stay nice. You can do it...Probably.''
Kaza was about to reply in that she actually could use his help- yet the boy quickly rattled on in a depressed, melancholic tone. It seemed Kaza's previous words had struck a chord, and he felt quite sad because of it. Tomoyo's reply, however, did pique the wispy cloud's curiosity...!
''...Wait- you fell down here...?'' Kaza squinted her non-existant eyes with a tone of disbelief. You couldn't blame her, it did sound really weird. ''How's that even work?'' She muttered on, having a hard time believing the boy's story. Yet at this point, anything was possible. If a thing such as an Afterlife existed, the boy's story would probably be the truth as well. Life was strange.
...Death seemed to be even stranger.
Tomoyo rattled on again, sounding even more depressed and defeated than your average teenager in their 'edge phase', as Yemma liked to call it. Maybe Kaza was a tiny tad edgy, yet this...This even made her feel uncomfortable. ''Wow. Look, kid, shitty things happen. I got killed too, despite thinking I was tough shit...'' Kaza sighed out, being reminded of her own pitiful death. She'd get payback someday...
''Life isn't flowers and rainbows, Tomoyo...Everyone gets shit, sooner or later.''
Her words were filled with spiteful malice. She too felt betrayed and bitterful due to all the crap that she went through, yet she never really had the time to whine about it. Usually, she'd just vent that anger and frustration out on others...Usually resulting in their death. She honestly couldn't care less about the kid's emotional trauma if this were a different situation. Yet...The fact that she too suffered the same fate...
...It made her atleast understand the kid's pain, somewhat.
''Let me make one thing painfully clear to you, though, kid...'' Kaza once again sighed, her tone growing a tad melancholic as well. Her soul floated downwards to Tomoyo's eye level. She had a bland, empty look on her ''face'', one that showed she had years of experience with this sort of thing. ''You won't get anywhere by whining and crying over your own problems...Tough it out, grow strong, and beat the shit out of everyone that makes you feel like garbage.'' Kaza spoke with a concerning amount of bluntness and malicious intent in her voice, despite how high-pitched and cutesy it was.
She remained silent for a light second, simply floating there with a mystical 'whooOoOoosh' surrounding her. Mentally, she was snickering and grinning- this was the perfect opportunity to enact her plan! After a scarily long silence, Kaza forced a frustrated groan. ''Ugh, this SUCKS! I'd help you get stronger, or whatever- but I got turned into this fucking cloud...It's a shame- I was pretty strong and respected when I wasn't dead. Pretty sure I could've taught you a thing or two...'' Kaza tried to feign annoyance and concern- she wasn't the best actor, but...
''You've got a body...Maybe we can...Help eachother, ye?''
If she could, she would've smirked. Kaza wasn't the best at talking, yet she had no choice now. If she was going to get as strong as Vennel and Xylo, she'd need to get herself a body quickly.

...Wait- you fell down here...? How's that even work?
Tomoyo furrowed his eyebrows a bit, frowning at the Spirit's constant inquisitions and skeptical tone, fast getting tired of it. How hard was falling to understand? He was standing on the edge of heaven, he went over the edge, he fell. It didn't take a rocket scientist to explain such a pretty simple phenomenon that was pretty consistent everywhere that existed... except, now that Tomoyo really thought about it, a lot of people could fly. "Wait... is she making fun of me for not being able to fly?" the half human hybrid questioned in his thoughts, now eyeing Kaza in a new light. Once upon a time ago, a poke at his inability to fly like that would've earned quite the triggered rage from Tomoyo... but that was then, and this was now. These days he hardly felt anything... because what was the point?
There was hardly any purpose in getting angry at someone over pointing out his own inability to flight; after all, they weren't wrong. If anything it was his fault... and honestly, what did it matter at this point? Even if Tomoyo could fly, there was nowhere he could fly to. Hell was hell, whether they were standing by that rock or the next. The despondent boy couldn't just fly home and back to life, he had never found the exit thus far so ho-
...
Tomoyo completely froze up, his eyes widening as if a gear suddenly clicked in his head. "Flying." He murmured under his breathe, as if gasping for air and whispering at the same time, his head trying to wrap around the feasibility of this sudden revelation. If everyone that had tried before him to get out of Hell had succeeded, and he couldn't do it despite being just as much prepared, what was the difference between Tomoyo and Tulip, Tomoyo and Tekuma, Tomoyo and EVERYONE he'd met so far that got out. "...t-they could fly..!" letting out a gasp of a laugh, his eyes still wide in shock, everything started making more and more sense. What if the reason that he'd never found the exit was because you had to FLY to get to it?! "It's crazy... but what if it's true!?" He tried reasoning back and forth with himself, debating internally about the logistics of what this revelation could mean.
Even if he could possibly believe the incredibly unlikely idea that you needed to be able to fly somewhere to get out of Hell... what did that mean to him? As far as Tomoyo could tell about himself, having tried almost the entirety of his life and death in every fashion and method possible, he couldn't learn how to fly no matter what... So what was there to do? "So... I'm still left with nothing..." His frown slowly starting to spread over the previously hopeful expression the child bore, the brilliant colors of hope the world around him had just burst into started to slowly shifting back into the monochromatic depression Tomo had adjusted to... That is, until words coming from Kaza finally served the spark that reignited his flame.
Ugh, this SUCKS! I'd help you get stronger, or whatever-...
Pretty sure I could've taught you a thing or two...
taught you a thing or two
taught
This spirit... she wasn't just an ordinary one... even beyond her odd external appearance. Tomoyo could tell by her words... he had a feeling, the way she talked, she was a fighter. A fighter that could teach him how to get stronger; someone he could ask for help in this solitary void the hybrid 11 year old had previously been stranded in for so long!
"Can you teach me how to fly?!" Tomo blurted nearly out of nowhere, his gaze focusing so intently on Kaza's form it was almost jarring. This could be his chance... his opportunity to get out and finally be free of this never-ending nightmare. There was no way he could say no to that no matter what! ..but first he had to be sure. If Tomoyo just spent his time chasing a loose end; if Kaza didn't know how to fly, or couldn't teach him to fly, or flying didn't help him get out of hell... there was no way his spirit could handle it. The child had been broken, shattered beyond belief, and shoddily put back together with false hopes one too many times... if this didn't work...
This would be the end of Tomoyo in hell.
One way... or another.

The Majin's soul confusedly looked on at the misinformed child, who obviously misunderstood what Kaza meant by the whole 'falling' shtick. She wondered how it was possible to fall down from Heaven to Hell, as she doubted that such a thing was even physically possible. Yet, how Tomoyo warped her question... ''...Flying?''
She could just barely make it out from Tomoyo's audible murmur. What the hell was this kid on about? What'd flying have to do with any of this? Her mind filled with nothing but question marks, her cloudy spirit drooped down a bit more, unsure of what to do or say. Kaza was really at a loss for words here.
The kid piped up again, sounding quite excited this time around. Who he was actually talking about, though, was beyond Kaza's understanding. Context was an important thing, but she doubted that a dumb, stupid kid like him would even know or care about context. ''Uh- who could fly...?'' She muttered confusedly. Kaza groaned mentally, starting to get ticked off by Tomoyo's stupidity. If only she had her body, she could just ditch this chump, or kick his teeth in...
But, no. This was the Afterlife, a place where people were punished for their sins.
Kaza's punishment was obviously having to deal with annoying children. How fun.
''This is so fucking stupid...'' Kaza snarled mentally, forcing herself to keep her cool from an outside perspective. The kid was once again swapping and switching his emotions like a switch, going from excited and giddy to depressed and suicidal within the blink of an eye. It didn't really help calm Kaza's frustrations down any further, and she cursed herself, and everything else that made her end up here. Now she was at the mercy of some dumbass kid, her only hope of acquiring a body and starting her training.
She'd get revenge on all of them...Xylo, Ourobouros, those space lizards...
Every. Last. One. Of. Them.
''Can you teach me how to fly!?''
Kaza 'blinked' confusedly. If anything, she just continued to stare out infront of her, letting out a questionable hum. Wait, what? This kid only wanted to learn how to fly? That old trick...?
The fact that Tomoyo didn't even know how to fly spoke volumes about his skill and potential. Yet then again, Kaza's expectations for the kid were very low at this point. Once again, the spirit groaned mentally, realizing she was going to have to play along to get Tomoyo to help her.
''Uh- oh, yeah, sure kid. Flying's pretty easy...Could probably teach you how to do it in a jiffy...!'' Kaza chirped, feigning excitement and compassion to the best of her abilities. In truth, and on the inside, she had never felt this prideless and broken. Having to put up an act, and help some random pansy kid because it was her only hope...
Oh the anger she felt.
''Thing is, I can't really do or teach anything without my body.'' Kaza let out, swishing her cloudy spirit from side to side, emanating a magical 'whoosh!' as she moved.
''Being a cloud is a nice change of pace...But I liked it better when I could still punch people.'' The majin groaned, halting her wooshing movements and once again meeting Tomoyo at eye level. She remained silent for a light bit, letting an awkward silence wash over the conversation. Again, Kaza wasn't the best at talking. She usually let her fists do the talking.
Kaza didn't feel like herself without her trusty fists. And thus she sighed, throwing all her dignity out of the window for now and presenting an offer to Tomoyo he simply couldn't refuse.
Or atleast, so she hoped.
''Look, let's help eachother, okay? You tell me where and how to get a body, and I'll teach you how to fly once I actually get my body back. How's that sound?''

Peering intently at the oddly silent Majin soul, Tomoyo waited in bated breathe for her answer that his whole plan hinged on. This was his last chance, the last opportunity that would come the child's way to get out of this literal Hell-hole and go home. Call him crazy, call Tomo stupid, call him naive for believing in even the faintest slivers of hope at the end of a dark and dead tunnel; none of that would be untrue...
However, it was precisely those things that made up the goofy and lovably innocent child Tomoyo had once been when he was alive. If this plan faded into oblivion like the rest, then those aspects would fade away as well. Tomoyo would "cease".
Uh- oh, yeah, sure kid. Flying's pretty easy...
And that was all the confirmation that he needed. "I'll do it." The now lively child blurted out without a second more of consideration. He didn't care who this person could be, what she could have done to end up in such a hell hole... all of his other friends had turned out to be murderers and monsters alike, so why start discriminating now? Even if there was 1% of a chance that Kaza was telling the truth about teaching him, that the exit to Hell was someplace he could find after learning to fly, that he could learn and gain the ability to do it... he would take that chance in a heart beat!
After all... at this point, what else did the boy have to lose?
Swiveling on his heels while focusing intently on the rapidly swishing spirit, the 11 year old half Saiyan waited quite impatiently for her to pause. "I understand. I'll help you." Tomo nodded profusely, now literally peering into Kaza's malefic soul as she hovered mere inches from her face. He could've been staring into quite literally the abyss of evil incarnate, and it stared back...
...and he didn't give a darn flying hoot.
Turning on a dime, Tomoyo pointed his finger at the blood pond he had previously been circling for what seems like an eternity; the perimeter laden with month's worth of the hybrid's pacing. "I got my body by falling in there... It... It almost killed me or something...Iunno? But that's how it happened." Tomo unconsciously shuddered recalling the experience, wanting nothing more than to just block out how horrifying and scarring it was... but he had to tell the truth, be completely transparent if he wanted Kaza to help him. "My friend Tulip said she fought some demon person or something to get one... but I dunno how or where that is. All I know is... there's something wrong with that pond... like it's magic or something..."
Turning back to face Kaza, he shook his head with a smile. "If you could find another way... that might be better. I don't want you to get trapped or something else bad happening to you..." He was about to continue with the friendly warning and reassurance... when the half Saiyan child realized something he had missed in his previous reckless haste. Sporting an embarrassed grin while chuckling slightly, Tomoyo scratched the back of his hair sheepishly. "Hahaha... Sorry, I forgot to ask your name!" Usually Tomoyo was pretty good about that kinda stuff... Hell must've really been getting to him more than he thought! "Maybe I should start over?"
Straightening out his gi with an ever faithful grin, Tomo waved at Kaza. "Hi! I'm Tomoyo and I'm 11 years old. What's your name?"

Whoah,
Kaza did NOT expect the kid to interrupt her mid-sentence and instantly agree to whatever she was going to propose. The Majin soul wasn't quite sure to chalk it up to impatience or determination, or sheer childlike stupidity- yet she couldn't help but like the kid's eagerness...Despite how obnoxious he was.
She rambled on, relieved that the kid was willing to go through and do whatever it was that Kaza needed. All she had to do was teach this kid how to fly, right...? Sounded easy enough. Kaza might've been an evil, corrupted, merciless killer, and a total asshole...But she still had her dignity. Kaza kept her promises, no matter what.
Now to hope the kid wasn't completely incompetent.
Once Tomoyo nodded, Kaza ''smiled'', for the lack of a better term. Letting out a high-pitched sigh of relief, her spirit bounced up and down contently. ''Great!'' She chirped, excited to finally get to the important part of their conversation: The information Kaza had been looking for in the first place!
''Alright, let's get to to the juicy part...!''
Kaza snickered lowly before Tomoyo began explaining, eagerly waiting what the child came up with. Did he strike a bargain with an evil warlock? Form a new body out of sheer, raw emotion? Maybe it required an ancient ritual...?
"I got my body by falling in there...''
''Wait wha...-'' Kaza muttered, following Tomoyo's finger and facing the pond he was aiming toward.
...He fell into the pond...And almost died.
''...That's it...? ...Can this get any more disappointing?''
Kaza's soul drooped downwards before facing Tomoyo again, trying her best to feign interest infront of the child. What he said afterwards piqued Kaza's curiosity a bit more. Apparently, the kid had a friend that fought a Demon to get her body...? That sounded MUCH better! Kaza nodded her cloudy form up and down, nodding in understanding. ''Fight some giant demon, or take a dive in the pool, got it.'' She parroted- figuring there were probably a lot of other ways to get a body besides that. Kaza'd find a way soon enough now...
The child warned Kaza to maybe find another way, telling her he didn't want to see Kaza get hurt. Oh god- was she getting pity from this incompetent, spineless kid...!? Kaza wasn't sure whether to feel enraged, or to laugh at what she HOPED was a very poorly delivered joke.
Her soul literally quaked in frustration- yet she forced a discontent laugh from herself.
''I'm tougher than I look, kid- I can take care of myself...'' She muttered out, her body slowly calming down as the kid introduced himself again. Despite how annoyed and angered she was, she again had no choice but to play along and act nice, for now. She still had her end of the bargain to keep.
''Alright, Tomoyo. Nice to meet you.'' It sounded quite forced, yet Kaza was starting to get used to her act. She still had some time left to sit around and do nothing, she had to wait for Vennel, after all. Now that Kaza knew how to get a body, she could tell her friend once she made her way down here as well.
Once that happened, they could start enacting their vengeance.
But, for now...Kaza had to play babysitter. ''My name's Kaza. I'm a Majin, and respected Officer of the SSE.'' Kaza introduced herself bluntly, her soul hovering still for a bit before continuing. ''Honestly, I was among their strongest before I died...Even Super Saiyans were barely a match for me...'' Kaza sighed out melancholically. She hated having to use that past-sense when referring to herself...'was', 'was', 'were'...It was all in the past. Now she was nothing but another corpse.
''I died during war, fighting one of the strongest things in the entire universe.'' Her tone was quite empty, and Kaza began zoning out, staring off into the distance as she reflected on the battle on Arcose...
Her mind blanked.

"This lady is kinda weird... if it is a lady." Tomoyo commented in his head, watching Kaza's odd tonal inflections and wispy bouncing movements filled him with an odd sensation. They looked almost too cheery; as if she was forcing it and just putting on a facade... then again, the child who was murdered by someone he thought one of his most trusted and "good" friends probably shouldn't be considering himself a good judge of character. "Oh well... even if she's lying... it's not like she can kill me or anything." After all, it's not like you could "double die" right? The last the hybrid child had spoken to Tulip a few months prior, Tomo distinctly recalled the woman recounting a tale of how she was literally disemboweled during a fight down here, and was up and running a few moments later with grit teeth and renewed vigor.
Deciding to shift that train of thought to the side, Tomoyo was finally glad to hear the soul introduce themselves. "Kaza." He murmured, mirroring the undead warrior's words. He was a tiny bit surprised to hear that the girl was a Majin. Though Tomo had only met a few members of the race in his time living... hearing mention of it by Kaza brought over a nostalgic and melancholic feeling to Tomo once more. For the first time in a while, he remembered how not even a week or so before he died he had been adopted by a nice Majin named Presto... but he tried his best to push the memory away and focus on the moment at hand. All thinking about how much he missed her, how much he missed his life, would just stall and leave him more vulnerable. "I just have to stay strong..." the half Human reassured himself in his mind. He just needed to hold steady until he got back to life... then, he would find Presto... he would apologize and maybe if he was lucky she might even still take him back!
Wishful thinking aside, Tomoyo snapped back to attention just as Kaza was finishing up her self-introduction... though one part of her statement he just barely caught almost made him falter by surprised confusion entirely.
respected Officer of the SSE
"..." For the longest of moments, Tomo remained completely silent as he stared right at the body-less Majin. "SSE." The Saiyan Solar Empire... just hearing the name sent shudders down the child's mind, forcibly recalling all of the torture and abuse, both emotional and physical, his mother had made him endure under such a horrid cause. What was it about this conversation with this one random soul that was evoking so many memories!? Why now at the time where he had all but forgotten them forever! There was just something so weird about all of this that unsettled Tomoyo about Kaza even more... "...I can't lose it now though." Metaphorically slapping his cheeks to shake himself out of his stupor, the numb feeling child returned his efforts towards focusing on what his conversational partner had been spouting about herself.
"Something something strongest? Super... Universe... things?" ...okay, maybe he hadn't caught all of the specifics. But cut him some slack! At least he got the gist? Contrasting to popular belief, Tomoyo wasn't an idiot; he just got sidetracked a lot and sometimes said the wrong things at the wrong time... But even he could tell that Kaza wasn't being entirely transparent with him; not that anything was wrong with that! Friends kept secrets from each other all the time in Tomoyo's experiences; but, if they weren't comfortable acting like themselves around each other then complications things would sprout up eventually.
Call it a hunch, but the 11 year old was resolved to at least try clearing the air. "Hey... um..." Tomoyo kicked his foot against the ground, trying to catch the Majin's attention as she spaced out in front of him. "Oh, so she does that too?" It was nice to see that at least Hell hadn't made him as crazy as he first initially conceived... just as moderately weird as everyone else in here!
"Kaza?" Couching into his fist, Tomoyo waved his hand in front of Kaza, hoping that proved enough to snap her out of whatever encapsulating subjects had taken hold of her mind. "I dunno if you're doing it on purpose... but you know you don't have to act super nice around me or anything." He grinned a friendly grin, motioning to the girl with only the purest of intents. "You can be yourself, no problem. We already made the deal and stuff... plus I wanna become friends with you, not a weird you."

The kid seemed to grow extremely quiet and 'concerned' once Kaza mentioned that she was a part of the SSE. Mentally, she pondered why that was, yet she was quick to come to an assumption. This kid was probably from Earth, and may or may not have seen some cruel shit go down during the Saiyan invasion of Earth. Not that Kaza really cared- tragedy and violence strengthened someone as a fighter, made them stronger, and more vicious. It's why Kaza was the ruthless, respected combatant she was now.
Then again, Kaza hated to see people that antagonized the SSE, or stood against them.
''Something wrong?'' She mumbled sternly, a suspicious, slighly malicious tone snaking through her voice. Kaza felt her frustration grow once more at the boy's long silence. If it's one thing Kaza hated, it's people that turned their backs on the SSE, either through betrayal, or flat out antagonization. Especially Earthlings trying to force their shitty, lovey-dovey Earth Morals on their culture...
What, so just because they were rougher, meant they were evil?!
Then again, Kaza had long since accepted the title of 'Evil'. If that's how people chose to see her, then so be it,
She didn't care.
When the boy finally regained his own senses, Kaza looked at him with an uninterested, somewhat annoyed gaze. It was starting to get harder and harder to keep this stupid, happy farce up. Both because she hated acting, as well as the fact that she was a terrible actor. ''...Whatever. It's nothing.'' She blurted out at Tomoyo's confusion regarding the 'Super Universe Things', simply shrugging it off with annoyance and discontent.
Kaza looked around herself for a moment, eyes travelling toward the Bloody Pond. Some souls were hovering in small boats, sailing across its red waters calmly. In the back of her mind, she wondered why her soul looked so different compared to the rest...Was it because she was a Majin? Because of her 'Evil nature'? Or simply...Because of her own importance?
She'd like to believe the latter, yet she wasn't a stranger to doubt anymore.
''Kaza?''
''Wh- Eh...?'' Her thoughts snapped back to reality, her spectral form wooshing back to face the obnoxious child she had the displeasure of meeting with. The boy smiled, apparently having caught on to Kaza's poor act of trying to hide her true self. Obviously, the kid had good intentions backing his words...Yet Kaza wasn't too happy with them.
Her empty, cloudy eyes stared straight into Tomoyo's, holding a very menacing air to them... ''Listen, kid...I just experienced death, fighting a one-sided battle in which I was completely powerless... I'm feeling PRETTY FUCKING washed-up, alright?'' And there it was- Kaza finally snapped, letting her facade drop with little to no care or concern for the boy's feelings or innocence.
''You want to know what I'm really like, huh? Very well...But know this-'' Kaza paused, her soul began emanating an unsettling, humming noise, something out of her power. The appearance seemed to lose it's 'innocence', and anyone with the ability to sense the nature of someone's soul would now truly see how vile Kaza was on the inside.
''You do NOT want to be my friend.''
Kaza's eyes would try and continue to stare into Tomoyo's menacingly. Despite having no actual power as a spirit- she could still manage to be quite intimidating...
''I DESPISE weak, spineless brats like you with a passion, kid. If we were both alive, I'd have slaughtered you without a second thought.'' The Majin's soul paused, the mystical humming noise growing louder and more intense, before suddenly fading again. Parts of her soul flickered and swung around like a fire crackling with embers. ''Why do you think I ended up in Hell in the first place? I'm a murderer, kid.'' Her voice grew a bit more laid-back and casual. She felt relieved that she was finally able to spit out the truth, and funnily enough, she felt calmer than before.
''Since we're both dead, though, I can't kill you.'' Kaza let out bluntly. She'd shrug absentmindedly, yet...Y'know, she couldn't. ''Besides, I keep my promises. I might be a murderer, but I have SOME dignity, so I'll still teach you how to fly if you want. Ain't you just the luckiest corpse around~?'' The Majin snarled in an obviously spiteful, sarcastic manner. Mocking the kid felt much, MUCH better than having to pretend to care about him.
Besides, it really was probably for the best if he didn't get too involved with Kaza. That is, if he valued his existance.
Kaza let out an audible scoff, floating a bit past Tomoyo and off toward...Somewhere. She paused halfway though, whooshing back to face him one more time. ''Now if you'll excuse me, I have a body to catch...And a friend to meet up with.'' Her voice trailed off in an empty, melancholic tone. It was the sad truth, Vennel was probably dead by now...It was time for Kaza to start looking for her.
Kaza sighed another lonely smile, before floating off into Hell's landscape, alone.
''She should be here soon enough...''

" Wow..." Well, Tomoyo couldn't really complain about how Kaza was acting towards him; golly, he had asked for it in the first place! Literally! " She's kinda cranky." the hypocritical child acknowledged to himself, his eyes watching Kaza as she began waving about in the air, the peppy and cheery act all but gone and replaced with that of one Tomoyo was quite familiar with. Almost eerily familiar with... but just how stumped the child's mind. Maybe it was due to the fact that it had been so long since Tomoyo had actively even tried to recall his past life, but such specific details outside of big moments in his life or specific people close to him were hard to remember exactly; and even then, those were difficult at some moments. Being in Hell really was taking a toll on him; both physically and mentally apparently. Still, the equally dead boy could understand Kaza's sentiment and visible frustration with their situation. After all, he had gone through a similar phase of frustration in the times right after his death in heaven... though those emotions quickly faded into numbed depression, repression, and anguished solitude. Unlike her, Tomo hadn't had someone to talk to... so maybe this was actually helping the Majin, venting at him. That just meant that he was already being a good friend! " Woah... I'm good." Why do you think I ended up in Hell in the first place? I'm a murderer, kid." A... murderer..." He mumbled under his breathe after Kaza confessed to the crimes that landed her in Hell to begin with... and to be honest, it didn't surprise him... or discourage him. Most of Tomoyo's friends, if not all of them, had been murderers, terrible people, but that didn't mean they were any worse friends... until they abandoned him and murdered him... But that tidbit was besides the point. Kaza's statement that he "didn't" want her as a friend didn't drive off the boy's intent in the slightest. If anything it only spurred Tomo on further. To the naive child, that wasn't a threat, it was a challenge! It's like Kaza said, it's not like he could be killed or anything down here, so what was there to lose by trying to make a friend with radically different world views and moral codes. Besides, by this point in his existence, after everything the half Saiyan 11 year old had gone through... Well, his own words summed it up more than anything. " Death doesn't scare me." Now if you'll excuse me, I have a body to catch...And a friend to meet up with." Aha! So you do have friends~!" Tomoyo spouted almost automatically with a hardy finger point as Kaza's leering soul floated off to leave. He smirked triumphant, as if somehow winning the first battle in an intellectual war to be the Majin's friend. "I can't wait to meet 'em." Despite the fact that she had already commenced leaving the premise, Tomo still smiled to himself. He had a new potential friend, a potential way out of hell... for the first time in a long time, things were looking up for the previously destitute and alone 11 year old. Out with the apathy, in with the hope that would carry Tomoyo out of this literal hellish land and back to life. He wasn't just gonna fly high... ~He was gonna soar!~
