Powerlevel: 239,000 Pl setting active: 50,000 Shemha Durian Their involvement in training had been scarce in the last few months, Levlidian charged head long at the Kagami his limbs lashing and hers defending relatively easily as his Super Saiyan mane drew back with the escaping winds, and their forms flowed about each other effortlessly. She'd grown since the last time he'd seen her fight and in the enjoyment they spouted with it reared the Saiyan into dipping back free of a swipe. Granting Durian and grin and sweeping beneath a strike he'd flare his own only to have it matched, not just matched but deflected; she was fast and it most likely came from fighting with her bonded partner; a Super Saiyan. Coiling into a roll and escaping a kick, Levlidian rose and stood panting with the effort of their extended session. "Well done," he'd muse and draw a hand across his brow from the exhaustion that drew about him so easily. In their realms, a secreted place it was not but many legendary battles had been fought here and the young Saiyan basked in this knowledge. Though cold, brazen warriors still braved the realms of combat here. Tall structures of stone, strong arches and a fair weather saw the explosive collides of both warriors, knuckles, knees, shins, enveloping forms and loud cries would echo and the young Lovers crashed together again. If they were to attend Namek, Levlidian had decided he'd need to push his powers harder. Mastering Super Saiyan was just the first step, he'd planned to push it further. Perhaps he could utilise already known techniques to further these powers of his, the Saiyan ducked and Durian swept again and chuckled only to receive a knee to his gut for all his trouble. gasping he backed off and flared his singular orb of ocean blue upon the woman. "Cheap shot," he wheezed and folded his head onto the ground chuckling despite the pain. Slowly he'd find his feet and flex his wrists to the notion of rest and suddenly fell back into pose ready to continue. Unbeknown to him, at least for the moment, there was another on their way- likely. So caught p in their brawl, Levlidian could only feel his slender partners energies and was entirely focused upon them, prepared to fend more attacks from her and launch his own. It hadn't been a cheap shot, however out Saiyan was a sore loser- sore enough to claim that his own partner might induce cheap tactics. however, he knew better and wore a jesters smile despite himself, it had become fun to have a regular partner again, someone who could keep up with his excessive training regimes.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART It was always new places and new experiences with this Saiyan. The Kagami that accompanied him whenever they’d decide to go together would find awe and solace in places she had never traveled on her own. Even if just upon one planet, Durian had never wandered far from the desert. Not until she met him. In hating him, she had still learned new things. Now it was much the opposite how she felt about him, but still her life was furthered. She grew stronger. She grew more knowledgeable. Experienced more and found herself less bogged down by hatred and a stubborn mind. Well... she was still stubborn. A past time that she hadn’t fully grown to enjoy yet, but one her companion loved was occurring. It had been occurring for a long time now. The two in a small brawl and battle. Good natured and loving, yet pressured and strict to get better. Durian didn’t try to hold back for him, and she sincerely hoped Levlidian didn’t either. Well... To a certain extent. The female was sure he could wipe her off the planet when he entered this golden warrior stage of his and kept himself at full power. But he had a way of lowering his energy to be near her level. It gave him a workout, or so he said, and it bettered her. So the two stayed in a dance of flying limbs. Saiyan versus Kagami. At this point they were almost evenly matching one another. He’d dodge her advances, she’d dodge his. When he came to close for comfort, she’d block. Tanking his hits weren’t the easiest things to do, but if one could grin and bear it they could survive. A light sweat lined her body, while her attire helped with that none. Even in the wasteland that she knew little of, she had retained her more covered form. When it was just her and Levlidian near home, she could be more free. But when not in a place she knew... she was more nervous. Black jacket and slacks, white blouse, mask and gloves covering her person. Durian was still a Kagami who didn’t wish to be known or noticed. One of her hits landed. Just a bit after he had told her she was doing well. A small part of her suspected that he was holding back or letting her get in a hit. A knee to his gut, it was a decently solid hit he should have avoided. A small grin beneath the mask, him letting up on her or not still caused her to chuckle a bit. He had been thrown off and trying to recover from his injury. Durian could give him moment. Or she didn’t have to. “Don’t make me believe you’re going easy on me, Saiyan!” The mocking tone of his near rainbow haired companion ringing out as she charged at him. Keeping her momentum forward and feet light, she’d be upon him just before he’d gain his pose of readiness. Raising her arms together, she’d mean to bring her elbow down harshly upon his shoulder as he’d rise. But. Something may catch her attention. If so, it would cause her a moment’s hesitation and even her eyes to flicker off her target in concern. If another was indeed in the vicinity, no matter how small the level of power, the somewhat paranoid Kagami’s attention would be caught. Years of being on the run had honed her sensing to a frightening degree. She almost always was on the lookout. Waiting and wondering and worrying about who may be near. When with Levlidian, she may feel invincible, but such prolonged habit was hard to break. And in many instances, she found no need to. The absorption of Walker provided Shemha with many things. She gain his power, his abilities and perhaps most important of all, his knowledge. Taking his essence into her altered the way she looked and the way she thought. While it didn’t change who she was at her core, it did give her a new perspective on many things. One of those things was the potential future of the galaxy and its current super powers. A loyal soldier to Vegeta and Queen Habana, she still saw the danger in the alliance with Earth. Shemha respected the Half-Saiyan Queen, yet one could not foresee the future. If her original Master taught her anything, it was to be prepared for anything.
With that lesson ingrained deep into her person, she was back on Earth and in search of several different people. She knew of the organization known as Wild Hunt that Walker once led and while she didn’t completely agree with its original purpose, she saw a way to shift its goals so that it might benefit all. First though, she needed to gather any that saw her vision and were interested in what she had planned. One of those potential individuals was a Saiyan known as Levlidian.
In the distance she sensed his signature along with another. Both were lower than her own, but still impressive in the grand scheme of things. With a short glance back to Meridia she shot forward, aura ablaze as she zeroed in on the pair of energy signatures. In a moment she was there, settling down on the ground a short distance from them and with her hands at her sides in as neutral a stance as she could take.
Over six foot and sporting two horn like tendrils atop her head, Shemha knew she wasn’t the most welcoming of individuals to most, but she did her best to wear a smile before she spoke. Meridia was already informed to try and hold back from being to overzealous, at least to start.
”Pardon me. I hate to interrupt, but I am looking for a man named, Levlidian. That is you, correct?” Shemha asked as she looked between the two before her eyes settled on him. It might be a little off putting that a stranger knew his name, but she was prepared to explain that if this was indeed the Saiyan she thought it was.
For her part, Meridia did remain quiet as Shemha asked. Slightly behind the Majin and to the right, she stood with her hands clasped in front of her. Body language under control, she wore a smile as well, her pretty features a bit more welcoming than her Majin counterpart. Her eyes did explore both of them in turn though, scanning each up and down to take in the details of their person.

Their exchanges had always been filled with passion and competition, at first the approaching energy had gone unheeded, the arrogance of a Saiyan as ever lived on in Lev'. he fought with only his opponent in mind and despite it being a spar- he always took it semi-seriously. Durian deserved his best if not in energy but in skill, the only way the two of them could develop themselves and better their bodies was if she fought a stronger opponent and he fought a more so cunning opponent. On they'd fight but that blow he'd taken- it shook him.
“Don’t make me believe you’re going easy on me, Saiyan!” words a Saiyan always rose to, the blow he'd suffered had hindered the young Super Saiyan and he despised the sensation of it. However, Durian had become a force to be reckoned with, though so had Levlidian. Her blows came swiftly, one after another met with the frame of a quick succession of forearm defences. One after the other, though she slipped through snaring his jaw, and the beast took a step back only to delve with a roar into his bonded mate and seeking adverse a flurry of his own attack upon her when a power matching his- no it was a little bit stronger swept into view. The distraction was enough and Durian nailed him hard in the nose. Staggering, he grumbled- "Distracted-,"
The creature was polite enough even as the young Saiyan gazed on to her with a disgruntled growl, "That would be me," a thick stream of red trailed his upper lip of which was licked clear. "What is it you need?" A quick glance to Durian shared his concern but between the two of them they could handle this would be opponent or friend. However, something felt familiar, it was faint and part of the form he peered at seemed familiar too. "Have we met?", the shift of weight soon came as he'd approach the warrior, it was clear they were even as he'd draw closer. However the other familiarity bothered him- why? Why did that particular one bother him and yet the other did not, the other he faintly remembered as a friend.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Worked and sweaty, the two had continued on for long. It was energizing and tiring to fight him. Durian didn’t gain the same sense of fun from it as Levlidian did, but it was somewhat of a bonding experience. She got to know how he moved and thought. What his actions and reactions would be. It was a good mental game as much as it was physical, and that was what she appreciated more. Arms, legs, fists, feet, and bodies. All dancing and weaving to attack and defend from the other. The distraction would take them both. Though, it was Levlidian who would find the suffering more. Her flesh colliding with his, the glance she had taken towards the distraction would immediately return to the Saiyan. A brief look of concern mixed with an apologetic undertone. While she didn’t normally apologize for striking him, this was different in the fact that both of them had something else catching their attention, resulting in an almost unfair strike.
Sorry.
The single mental word came quietly. But she knew both him and her had other things to worry about. There was a signature. Two. The first made herself known immediately. Height rarely was of an intimidating concern to the Kagami. Reaching six feet herself, she even had a short bit of height upon the Saiyan with her. However, Majin... That was something Durian had mixed feelings towards. Not that she had been threatened. Nor had she been welcomed. Nothing spoke positive or negative from this other individual, not that Durian could sense, other than the stronger powers that came from both her and her companion.
Red eyes glancing to that of her own partner, she wondered why this Majin was looking for him. Durian didn’t recall Lev having mentioned someone like her before. Nor that people may be searching for him. First Takeshii, now this one. How many unknown friends did this man have? The thought made a glimpse of a sarcastic smile appear to the kagami’s features. Vague in appearance, but still present. He was certainly a social butterfly.
The question wasn’t aimed at her, so Durian saw no point in replying. Straightening up her posture, no longer in a battle stance against the male with her, she tried to gain an understanding. Levlidian didn’t seem to know her, but didn’t seem overly concerned either. Briefly. But not overly. Her observations fell upon all three other forms, though the one woman to the back of the pink was less so kept attentive to. Levlidian looked to her, to which Durian could only give him a single nod. Whatever they needed to do, she’d be by his side. If that meant taking on this Majin, they’d tear her to shreds. Lev stepped forward and Durian would keep with him. Much like the side female to Shemha, Durian would remain near and slightly behind the Saiyan. Her role in the moment was to listen, watch, and react appropriately. Her attention hadn’t been called upon. And until she knew more, there wasn’t much reason to say anything.

”No, we have not met despite the fact I may seem familiar.” Shemha conceded as the pair looked her over. Her absorption of Walker brought about more than a few of these awkward meetings. They both seemed skeptical as to what she wanted and who she was. Their unease was understood, but not needed.
”Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Shemha,” Shemha offered as she dipped into a respectful bow. ”and this is my companion, Meridia.” She added with a small indication to the woman in white next to her. The demon dipped into a courtesy as part of the official introduction, but said nothing as she continued to allow Shemha to take the lead.
”As for why I am here…that is far more complicated. Do you remember a meeting with the creature known as Walker?” Her tone remained level as she asked. This was going to be the tricky part. Only partially aware of what their last meeting entailed, broken memories and images with limited context, she knew this could go south quickly. To her it was worth the risk. Walker, beyond his flaws, was familiar with a number of powerful warriors that seemed to in her opinion, hold no real allegiance to one of the major factions of the galaxy. Those were the types of people she wanted to talk with.
Of course there was a real possibility that Levlidian could recognize her acquired traits or when she revealed exactly what happened to Walker that he might ask her to leave. Worse yet, he might go after her. Her secret and private mission to revitalize the Wild Hunt definitely had its obstacles, but in her mind, being unprepared for what was to come down the road was far more dangerous than risking a brawl or two. So far, she was one for one with those she sought out…maybe this would make two…or three?
Casual her eyes drifted between the pair. The female with Levlidian was a mystery to her, an individual not a part of her memory or those she gained from her fallen foe. Thus far she seemed quiet and reserved. Hopefully with time she might find out more about her, but until then, the Saiyan was the focus.

The young Saiyan stood with his eyes fixed about the new soul, slowly, with a regard of her introduced aid he'd betray a short growl as though unsure of the situation as a whole, it was odd, odd that a power so close to his would approach them. In regard he'd tilt his head and offer a hand to Durian gesturing to her, "This is Durian, my better half-," and on he walked until they stood a mere foot or so from one another. Being a Saiyan, Lev' wasn't known to back down from some one. Even in days past, the beast had risen to every challenge be it victory of defeat and yet he just couldn't shake that feeling. Had they fought before? impossible, he'd remember as he made a point of remembering all his foes. Basing his training off all losses and he was fairly sure, had he met this Majin at any other time, he'd have lost.
"-Walker," his brow sank and again he'd refer to Durian, "I remember him, soared the lands on a large ship with it's own Eco-System, we had a conversation not too long ago and he was interested in me for some reason,". Indeed he'd remembered, the bastion that had lead him into the air for investigation, Walker had been immensely powerful. A figure head he'd sought to meet at some point for further discussion- until his power too vanished from the planet. "Complicated how-<" he paused and again he growled. She felt similar to the once allied creature. Not entirely, it was strange to him, granted he'd not known the man long but never would he forget such an intense creature. "Has he sent you for me- or are you his enemy come looking for leverage because I hate to admit this, I barely knew the guy,"
The figure in white unsettled him in kind, a wary creature was this one since his interactions with such souls who boasted any level of power close to his. In fact, at the moment this Majin type woman he;d something far above his. however, rectifying such would take moments. With the breeze at his back and his mate at his side; Levlidian was brimming with confidence. "If it's complicated, I suppose you had best take a seat with us, I want to know the story- if there's one thing I do enjoy it's a good tale. Though I am on edge, so in order for this to go well; truce?" it wasn't needed and he knew it. However, Levlidian wanted to be sure a battle wouldn't erupt at this moment, with a glance to Durian it wouldn't take a psychic to guess why he was so reluctant to fight an enormous power.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Shemha. Not a name Durian recognized. Her knowledge of things going on around them was not stellar. She didn’t glue herself to a lot of radio or television, though she likely should begin to get into the habit at least for updates on the universe or what had been going on Earth at the very least. From her angle, she wouldn’t be able to see Levlidian clearly. What he thought of the Majin. If he knew her. None of these things. But nothing was expressed to her, not yet. The companion Meridia was of less significance in Durian’s mind. Not less significant threat, but she was obviously just present as a side. The conversation was between Levlidian and this Majin, Shemha. She searched him out. Meridia and Durian were the extras.
Walker Another name Durian knew nothing of. But Lev seemed to. The explanation was brief. One on a large ship and a conversation. But nothing really more. Durian didn’t think the Saiyan was lying, but didn’t know why this all was significant. Who was Walker? Why did she care if Lev and him had met? Questions would likely be answered in time, but it was much easier when the answers came quickly. The growling of her mate brought her no comfort. Either Walker had been bad news, or he wasn’t appreciative of this Majin. Either way, it made her slightly on edge. A bit of tenseness in body and a more complete focus on the two before them.
Though she’d soon find Lev offering them to sit. To come and speak with them if that’s what they wanted. It was better than a fight... she had to give it to her fight happy mate, that he could have a level head if he so desired. Too many times she had chased him into the middle of nowhere to keep him from wrecking himself, the environment, or anyone happening to pass by. He even called for a truce. An odd thing, at least to Durian. He would love to have a fight at any moment of the day. And she’d back him up whenever she was needed. She wasn’t unaware of the two powers that were here. The ones she didn’t know. But she wouldn’t back down if her mate didn’t. So.. why was he?
The look revealed all. A glance of him to her. Mentally she’d sigh. Happy for the concern. Irritated at still being so weak he worried over her when others may spell danger. It was enough to get him killed if he wasn’t careful. So, she remained silent still. The Majin would spell out the story and Durian could see more from there. How Lev might react. What this was all about. If all went well, this would be over soon and she wouldn’t have anything to do with any of it.

”It is a pleasure to meet you, Durian.” Shemha said as she sent a warm smile the females away. As for the mention of her being Levlidian’s better half, that could mean friend, ally or lover, it didn’t matter to the Majin. Romantically dense she only recently began to comprehend the true meaning of friendship so anything deeper was lost on her. The message was received though, the two bound to one another, attach whatever tight you might want.
With him so close to her and his concerns about violence clearly laid out in his words, Shemha shook her head to dismiss those thoughts.
”Neither of you need to worry about violence. I have come to talk and that is all, so please, relax and hear what I have to say.” She started as she moved a little closer before she began to settle down into the grass, Meridia quick to follow. All the while she kept her body language as unthreatening as possibly. She truly had no desire for a fight with either or both of them and strove to make a good first impression. In hindsight she probably shouldn’t have intruded as she did, but when would have been a good time? Those who waited for opportunity rarely found it.
”As it seems you recall, Walker was a powerful individual, but he was also complicated. In his time he was labelled as the leader of an organization known as Wild Hunt. Originally this group was established to help keep in check those that might seek to impose their power over others, dictators and the like. Unfortunately, on his path to keep these types of individuals in check…he came close to becoming one himself.” She hesitantly revealed as her eyes shifted back and forth between the two of them. Durian was quiet thus far, but these words were for her just the same. Shemha realized if the two were allies, her goal was no longer to gain the attention of just Levlidian.
”Sadly that decision was made at a time when I called Walker an ally and those working with him, including myself, were forced to defend ourselves. Luckily we were able to defeat him and in an attempt to understand him, I took his essence into mine. I am sure you can sense traces of his energies within me.” The last sentence directed at Levlidian as her focus came to rest on him for a moment. Allowing that to sink in, she then continued.
”I still struggle to see why he chose to turn on us, but during my search to grasp his motivations I believe I see a chance to rework his organization to do what it was meant to do. The Wild Hunt is a shell of what it once was, but I hope to revitalize it and repurpose it. With Walker’s knowledge at my disposal I have begun to seek out individuals he and I are familiar with, those who might understand what it is I wish to establish. Levlidian, you are one of those individuals and Durian, you might be as well.”
The inclusion of the female was an attempt to bring her into this conversation and show that she was of near equal interest to the Majin, even if she was unknown until moments ago. There she paused. It was a lot to take in and perhaps confusion so she wanted to give them a chance to think and ask questions if they chose.

The way the Majin spoke surely reminded him of the long conversation he and Walker had enjoyed, with a tug of his lips into a short smile. Levlidian himself sought to understand this difference there apparently was, however, the Majin reflected Walker almost perfectly; well the short idea of him the beast had. When she settled down just as he had, the strain of possible combat left the scene entirely thus the Saiyan relaxed, he'd peer to Durian a moment and offer her an apologetic smile, he knew she'd be worried for the intentions of this one but perhaps she'd ease a long side him. Even her aid, the woman in white reflected no real aggression and in honesty, it was welcomed. Even if Durian was strong enough to put up a fight against this woman, he was fairly sure they would be and yet; a stubborn voice whispers what if's unto him leaving the beast swallowed by paranoia. Again he'd peer between the new two before he'd even utter a word.
"I'm sure you do struggle to see why he'd turn upon you, however Walker seemed like a man who knew what he was doing; so again why would I trust in this fact even if you do hold part of his essence- lies can still creep around," However, he couldn't deny that it was an inviting idea, to join a justice group a little less- pure. Adjusting in his seat and grunting, the Saiyan merely shrugged. "Well if I agree, I should probably make you aware I'm neutral, the SSE scarred me as a boy- through my Father's wrath I was dispelled of the propaganda. My time here on Earth also unveiled to me we Saiyan's often keep slaves- slaves of a certain species. I may on day work to rectify this. Would that be a permitted action or am I expected to follow a regime,". There was still an underlying desire to see the Kagami freed. The notion itself stood or sat, at this point right beside him. Adjusting his jaw, venting a gaze downwards he'd continue; "For now I am interested, the prospect of travel and a chance to make up for past miss deeds is over whelming,"

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
“Shemha.”
Durian would give a nod in the Majin’s direction. A confirmation of them meeting and Durian acknowledging but certainly not saying it was a pleasure. Durian wasn’t sure it was yet, so she wasn’t about to start out under false pretenses. This Majin was still a mystery. Still something Durian was unsure of, felt uncomfortable around, and even Lev hadn’t become accustomed to her.
She did say she just wished to talk and not incorporate violence. Yet... Durian was still unsure. How had she met the Saiyan next to her? At first light hearted talking. A bit of anger. Then down to life threats. Talking could quickly turn to action, Durian was fully aware of that. Her mate seemed to be put at ease by this though. Looking to him, debating on whether to go with his senses or to keep a more harsh guard up, she contemplated and examined him. Exhaling through her nose in a near sigh, she’d relinquish her tenseness and remain by her partner in a less stressed fashion. Sitting down beside him as Shemha also had. Durian didn’t like it. But... she’d give in. If only for Lev.
The words on Walker meant little to her. Levlidian had said something about him, she recalled briefly of him from his memories... but overall the name meant nothing. Shemha attempted to clear it up a bit, speaking about his organization. What it was for and that he had fallen. So that’s where this was going. She had part of Walker in her. She wanted to revitalize the group. Durian would look from the corner of her eye to Lev, check on his reaction, but say nothing. This was... odd. The Majin took in his energy. She was partially him, or so the Kagami understood.
The confirmation of Durian’s thoughts were presented. Shemha wanted to rework his organization. Apparently the search for Levlidian was an invitation and now it was extended to Durian as well. Interesting... And it made the Kagami hesitant. Even Lev produced reasons why he wasn’t at ease. But... he was smiling. This all interested him. She’d have to listen and see. The trust she had in Walker... how was it not worse that this Majin had defeated and absorbed him?
Then the Kagami was surprised. Turning her head to her mate with the faintest bit of shock running through the red of her eyes. He basically accepted. He was interested. Wanted to travel and make up for wrongs. A gloved hand pressed to his bicep. He needed to calm his carefree little mind down. He liked to make up for his guilt, but jumping when someone cracked a nice whip wasn’t the way to do it. The fact he did so easily made her nervous. Gaze shifting back to Shemha, she’d want to hear the answers to Lev’s questions, but Durian had her own.
“You said revitalize and repurpose. Revitalize is obvious. You want members and people. What’s this purpose you’re reworking? What is your goal?”
With a slight pause, the Kagami’s gaze settled more firmly upon the Majin. One more concern that was great to her.
“Are you leading? You have the essence of the one who turned on the group in the first place. What’s in place to keep the same fate befalling you?”
That sounded a bit harsher. Almost challenging or reminding Shemha that she too could easily get warped by desires if the correct situation presented itself.

Neutral, that word pleased the Majin. Considering her objective, those are the types of people that she needed…at least in the beginning. Whether she could shape and direct a new Wild Hunt towards her goal was yet to be seen. She was patient though and if it took time, she planned to put in the effort.
Excited to hear that he was interested, other parts of his response demanded that she continue to tread lightly. Uncertain of the details of his past with the SSE, she understood that his neutrality might lean towards distrust when it came to the Empire, especially when she considered how she was initially received. Hesitance was something she understood and respected, yet she couldn’t gamble that he would not grow angry should he learn of her association to the Empire from another’s mouth. As the new Commander, her days of hiding in the shadows were likely over.
Glad to hear Durian’s voice as it suggested that she was being drawn into this possibility, it also provided the Majin with a few vital seconds to mull over how to proceed. Skepticism rolled off both of their tongues and the females reaction, to his apparent interest spoke volumes of her remaining apprehension. Her words only confirmed it.
Admittedly, it was a valid point. What was to stop the powerful Shemha from turning on those she trusted just as Walker had? This was something she already realized presented itself as a threat, regardless of how unlikely she personally felt it was. Confident in the control of her own emotions and decisions, she knew others might not be trusting. With both of the potential recruits concerns valid, she addressed them in turn with no apparent offense taken by either of their words.
”In the interest of full disclosure and in case you were not aware; I am a member of the SSE.” Shemha revealed with the interest of keeping their trust or at the very least a chance to develop some even if she did leave out the small fact that she was the Commander of the Empire’s military might. Having had time to feel out Durian’s signature now, she was aware of what race the girl was and could guess at what slaves Levlidian was talking about. The whole issue of slavery within the Empire was never one that bothered her, not on a personal level, but she wasn’t so dense to realize how others might view it. Perhaps the policy could change.
”The truth of the matter is, we have a new ruler, Queen Habana and I believe she wishes to turn the Empire in a new direction. A better direction for all involved. That being said, I am practical and realize, as Walker showed me, am not incapable of misjudging an individual. While I do have faith in Habana, the Wild Hunt would be aimed to keep ALL leaders in check, including those potentially close to its members. No one would be given special protections or privileges. That includes the Queen and me. As for the slaves...that is perhaps something I can handle.
In regards to your questions Durian, yes I do hope to take the lead on this. I feel I can handle the mantle of leadership as well as maintain the groups…low profile. That being said, some that I plan to ask to join are powerful warriors, stronger than the three of us and completely capable of keeping me in check should I for some reason become a threat.” She clarified with that ever present level tone even if she saw no world in which that would become the case.
”The first warrior I approached has already agreed to join and you two, would make us four. Beyond that there are two other individuals I have in mind to complete a core of six. All I truly ask today is that you do seriously consider it; I don’t need commitment from you until you are sure. I wouldn’t try to force this on anyone. Shemha finished. Her hope was not to bog them down in the lengthy clarification, but make what she wanted here clear…for the most part.
To her side the apparently carefree Meridia lounged in the grass, one leg crossed over the other one as her eyes followed various clouds across the sky. As relaxed as she was the demon seemed more than content to let Shemha do the talking, something that was probably best.

Levlidian fluttered his singular obsidian gaze to his mate as she spoke, these were fairly well formed points and he'd smirk as she'd sought cover his back with the ideas he'd not conceived. Interesting, that she'd so easily mould to fill the gaps he'd outwardly enticed free himself and had them filled by the soul who'd approached them. Still, this woman who spoke to them so openly had begun to garner some form of trust of the young Saiyan, she was blunt, honest and his eye fluttered back for the soul she'd bridged the numbers game with, whether combat was intention of the Majin or not he was still wary. The next sentence however, so easily relayed and his brow wore the knitted resemblance of deterrence because of it. Solar Empire- damn it, Walker was defeated by a Solar Empire member? He bore the scowl proudly, ivory peeling through his lips followed by a short snort. Even in this case he'd come this far, he also owed Walker a semblance of his patience; though the idea she'd re purpose them began to stink of something more to him. Even now he could feel the need to flee welling up in him, a tightness that threatened his very poise, however what sort of Saiyan fled from this, she may be strong but he himself almost equalled her or did so just enough to pose a threat- even Durian stood a chance so long as they fought as one; as they'd always had since their bonding.
Reaching to his mate, the beast folded his hands about her wrist as though prepared for either the fight or flight she'd feel, before Shemha continued, Lev' granted first the Kagami a look of understanding. He would then peer back as the Majin's vocals continued; she spoke quite clearly and resonated with his calm over the achievements of more powerful allies. Suddenly the approach of neutrality felt that strain and with a roll of his shoulders, Lev' was able to right the wrongs he felt in this. "A new Queen, well I suppose if she's looking for a new way about things- she can start considering being less of a dictator as your last. Yes, i said yours, that Queen is nothing to do with me," not that the announcement would come as any shock, though he'd be lying if he wasn't interested in the alignment shift. "Where is the older Queen, was she defeated or step down- as far as I am aware there was no moral compass amongst your folks. I'm sure the warmongers are unhappy,". The Saiyan race was filled with ass holes, it was common knowledge and in this certain act, he was sure there would be several just waiting to kill the new Queen and replace her with an astoundingly bad set of ideals.
"These warriors, who are they- allegiance to your Empire as well?" This is where he'd grown careful, favouritism was a notion he'd considered, surely it'd be something Shemha herself may fall prey to. Still, it payed to ask and as he shifted on the spot, unfurling his legs to splay before him; "Though I'm grateful you aren't enforcing our choice now, I myself may need a little time to process the information. My Wife here is likely to either need the same or-," Levlidian was no fool as he was sure this woman was not either though the confidence in her pitch was astounding. Careful, calculated, she'd followed precisely what she must have known would unease the pair- with something Lev' found himself tempted by. However, his slender woman would have another view, though no more words were uttered in offering for the time being, a look of wonder and curiosity fled to his mate awaiting the input. Honestly he already suspected the reaction especially to the allegiance, however his gaze carried a warning. To engage here could end badly, in fact he was sure they'd hold their own but it was no a clear victory and this he didn't like as they were woefully unprepared.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
A member of the SSE? It had Durian’s attention immediately. The hand upon his arm would tighten just a bit as the lips beneath the mask would thin and the reddened eyes would become just a hint more pointed in an unsettled nature upon Shemha. That was a bit of a sore spot if there ever was one. Saiyans had been a hard thing for her to swallow and accept, just the race themselves. But the power that drove them? The group that was near directly responsible for the enslavement of her race? That would be a bit harder to get around. Lev’s hand would meet her wrist in return. Gaining her attention briefly and from the corner of her eye. He was trying to calm her, or so she thought.
The Kagami worked very hard to keep her mouth shut. The sarcastic and biting nature that was hers being held with silence in order to accommodate her mate. He was interested, at least a bit. She didn’t wish to ruin this for him if there was something legitimate to it. If this was actually his desire. But hell, would she have a word with him when this Majin was gone. A better direction for all involved... All the Kagami could think was that’s how it had always been. A better direction for all involved, or at least those who chose to be involved. It seemed that the Majin was a smooth talker, but not one Durian fully believed. Even commenting that she could possibly handle the slavery issue. Irritating and foolish. At least to the Kagami. If it was so easy to ‘handle’ the slaves, then why was it not done?
A well placed and unexpected attack is just as effective as one of pure strength.
Words she kept finding herself looking back upon. She first uttered them to Takeshii. Then to a scientist. Now, they came to life in her mind when meeting this Shemha. She claimed there would be other powerful warriors that could take her out. That was her backup plan? That was hardly a check or balance... Power fluctuated so quickly. But the most important part was a well placed plan and attack. If she got out of control, she would just need to know the weaknesses of the other powers. Strike them where it hurt and in the dead of darkness. Even if she was taken out like this Walker man, what then? The group lost their leader? Exhaling through her nose, the Kagami once again returned to silence.
Shemha said they could answer later. Levlidian seemed to appreciate that offering. Durian... was no more pleased than before. The only reason she’d think about it was for him. The majin’s affiliation with the SSE. Showing some possibility of freeing the Kagami. Absorbing walker to entice Lev. It was a crafty plan and seemed to be working well for at least the Saiyan beside her. She’d notice him look towards her again. Warning her. Asking her. Attempting not to roll her eyes, she’d once again have an irritated exhale when looking back towards Shemha.
“Time to consider is beneficial.”
The female responded. She was none too pleased and that was obvious, but she wasn’t a fighter. There was no urge in the kagami to attack the Majin. No need nor want. Just irritation at the situation presented before her. The thought had etched itself in her mind. Shemha could possibly do something about the slaves. It had to be a lie. Or some coy plan. Or sly words. But... what if it wasn’t.
“If the slaves are perhaps something you could handle. Then perhaps my commitment would be concrete.”
Playing off the word perhaps. But making a note here and now. If the Majin could in fact free her people, then she wanted to know. She wanted it done. If it required selling her soul to the SSE and any number of things she hated, she’d likely give in. With these thoughts, she couldn’t look back to Levlidian and wouldn’t. Facing Shemha head on for whatever she might speak next.

The gestures between the two were not missed nor were they fully understood. By definition she knew what a relationship was, but on a personal level it was foreign to her. Clearly they shared an attachment to one another and Shemha fully realized if she was to recruit one; the other would come with them. The same went for if they turned her down. They seemed to share the same uncertainty, body language and words indicating they were still on the fence. In order to try and give them the light shove required, Shemha openly responded to their concerns.
”Yes, there is a new queen, Queen Habana. Zucceta stepped down as a result of her own actions, a choice to try and figure out who she is…or should be.” Shemha explained with that same neutrality. Behind that mask though, she could have snorted with disgust. Disappointed in the former Queen’s decision to step down and give up, she saw it as weakness. Thankfully, the dependable Habana rose to take the reins of the Empire.
”While I see this as a step in the right direction there are a few of these warmongers as you call them, who are not pleased with the new Queen and her more diplomatic approach. That, if anything, should prove she is less of a dictator than people are used to.” Again she held back, her belief that those who opposed the Queen should be dealt with swiftly not something to be shared.
”As for the others interested in the Wild Hunt, you might be happy to know that none are allies of the SSE. In fact, they all call Earth their home.”She offered more information that might put him at ease. Those she sought to bring into the fold weren’t exactly loyal to the Premier, but they did have desires to see Earth safe.
Shemha truly felt a reformed Wild Hunt could work to benefit all involved, even if it would also protect Habana and the SSE. Strength in numbers is what she offered, a chance to be a part of something more than rag tag fighters expressing their will on their own. Together, there would be little that could stand against them and tyrants like Xylo would be weary of the potential.
When Durain spoke again, the Majin casually shifted her gaze to the female. Tone alone gave away she wasn’t pleased with this proposal and considering what she was…it couldn’t be helped. A small part of Shemha wanted to backhand the girl, tell her to wake up and move on. Countless races amongst the stars suffered at the hands of others, it wasn’t just hers. Shemha herself was the property of another for years and yet she held no grudges against her former master. The Commander was never so reckless though so instead of a fist, she met the girl with her softly glowing eyes.
”Perhaps I can do something about them. I have the power to influence the Queen and seeking the release of slaves is not beyond the realm of possibilities. However, realize the reality of the situation. Such an action would not be as simple as removing their shackles and telling them to run free. There are many moving parts to that situation.” Shemha clarified, her eyes not wavering from those of the Kagame. It wasn’t a challenge, the way she stared, but an attempt to get her point across in full. This woman was as easily swayed as the Saiyan beside her and with the bond they openly shared, that meant Shemha’s job would be all the more difficult.
