Name: Salak Anise
Alias: Durian
Species: Kagami
Gender: Female
Relationship: Taken (
Levlidian)
Age: 23
Appearance: A woman of a tall stature, nearing six feet unaided by shoes. While tall, she has a very thin frame. Her waist cinches in at the middle but she has smaller hips and an average bust which she may or may not keep strapped down to hide a more feminine appearance. The near ‘magical’ hair of her race is upon her head, white to some, all colors of light to others, the glorious opalescence of the Kagami. One trait she has lost of her heritage is the blood red eyes. Hers have dulled over the years of her life, while still red, it must need examined closely to see that tint of color. Otherwise they seem almost black at first glance. The only exception to this dulled color is when she takes control of her Ki in offensive attacks or experiences strong emotion, the flaming red eyes of her people appear in full force. Like that of her race, she has pale skin that is near white when looked upon.
To protect her sensitive flesh she is often found in clothing that covers her body. Long sleeves and pants, glove upon her hands, even going so far as a mask upon her face. Her clothing colors are simple, so simple that black and white seem to be the only ‘color’ to her wardrobe. The fit of her clothing can hide her feminine form to the unaware observer, allowing her to take a placing glance as a man.
The small still voice of her goddess. Quiet, patient, understanding. Her appearance isn't vital to know at the moment, but she has the hair of a Kagami. A softness and a roundness that Salak does not know. More womanly and more supple.
History: Salak was born into the Saiyan family of Anise. Not to the Saiyans but unto their slaves. These slaves had no family name, they were merely owned by the Anise. Yet a child was born unto them. She would be raised in this family, the combination of her blood and of her masters. Her parents were both Kagami and both slaves. While they got along fine with their masters they were both very timid. All of the Kagami in this grand home were. The family of Anise was large as well and longed for great things. Great food, great belongings, great slaves. The head of the home was a very powerful Saiyan. One whom commanded many a soldier. His wife taught classes to those who needed her expertise. While not a fighter in body, she was heavily skilled in tactics and any battle through the mind.
These Saiyans also produced many children. These children would fall under the care of the Kagami. One particular child would be approximately three years younger than Salak, who had been working since she was able to walk. She assisted in chores and rarely batted an eye to anything she was told to do. Submissive. This is what she knew. As all Kagami know, there is a being to be worshipped inside their bodies. Salak’s rarely spoke to her. But when it did, it taught her patience and understanding. A calmness. What else would a child listen to?
Salak was raised along this young Saiyan. Azuki was the young boy’s name and he instantly took a liking to the female Kagami. While it was very much taught to Azuki that he owned each and every one of these Kagami, he always enjoyed spending time with Salak. He tried to distract her from chores, play with him, amuse him. He was an energetic child that always wanted something to do. With Salak being passive at that time, she would agree. How could she disobey a master?
While she was not blessed enough to enter any sort of schooling or academy, Azuki soon would. They boy was intelligent and excelled greatly in most, if not all, of his studies. Each and every day he would rush home to show Salak what he had learned. Teach and talk to her as if she were a real friend. Into his teen years, he was smitten with the girl. A passive Kagami that would bend to his will, what boy could resist? He would be entering the Saiyan Academy for fighting at his father’s and mother’s request. He would be a soldier and a strong one. There would be no one that could put him down. But Azuki made sure that Salak would stay at his side. The girl’s parents had raised him, so the Saiyan family saw it fitting that Salak belong to Azuki. He took her with him wherever he went. And did whatever he wished with her. Salak did not fight, it was not within her heart nor within the goddess’s advice.
It was not until there would be a twist of fate. Out of the many times the young Azuki had his way with his lovely Kagami, once would produce a third. A mixed being, not uncommon among these Saiyan and Kagami ridden households. Salak was pregnant. Azuki’s parents were horrified, even in his glee. There was talk to put the slave down. To put the child down. To send them both away. Azuki had none of it. Salak was his and he would do as he pleased, as they always had allowed him to do. The Saiyan young man was going to keep both his Kagami and his offspring. No one, not even his family would take that from him.
But things don’t always work out how people want. Not even for those mighty Saiyans. Salak had no real opinion in the matter. She was Azuki’s. She did have thoughts. Ones she never expressed. She was terrified. Her master had placed a child within her. Would he hold true to his word? Would he kill her? Would he end up sending her away when she was no longer amusing? Salak was older than him by three years. He was still young, hard-headed, and brash. When he grew out of that, where would it leave her? Out of all her fears, they merely circled around Azuki. Never once would she have thought her future was out of his hands. She didn’t know if his family had caused it or just happened to be there by chance but… She woke up one evening in the boy’s bed. Azuki was not there, but one of his siblings was. What woke her?
Tremendous pain. Her abdomen was on fire. There and below. A large hand over her face wouldn’t have helped the sleeping either, even if she wasn’t in pain. The brother stifled off her screams. She was bleeding. There was so much pain. Tears ran like rivers from the Kagami’s mind. Where was Azuki? Salak had never remembered a time she was so scared, so completely helpless, and… alone. Her terror had pushed that small voice into the depths of her mind. There was no one to calm her. There was nothing but rage in the eyes of the Saiyan holding her down as he tried to take the life from her. The world would go black after a near eternity of complete gripping fear. It was cold and she was still alone.
The girl would awake with a new fire. She was not dead. But her child was. Azuki had returned and saved her life from his own flesh and blood. But that isn’t what Salak saw. The woman saw loss. At the mere age of twenty she had been discarded and a life torn out from within her. She was broken in body and soul. Nowhere was that voice to be found in her head, only seething rage. Azuki could not bring her from her state either. Try as the young lad might, he couldn’t cheer his slave. It tore him up, even more that his child was gone. His Kagami would only turn hateful eyes upon him. And one evening that hatred turned into action.
The few things her master had taught her, sharing his knowledge and passion for Ki and power. This focus and concentration that he allowed her to learn, that he shared with fervor and love, would be his match. Salak would focus and feel the power of her own Ki circle about her arm. She would strike. Again. And again. And again. The man who owned her would fall. All of this would fall. The lie that was passiveness and acceptance. This was wrong and disgusting. Her hands not even shaking, she would write out letters in her master’s hand. It wasn’t hard. She had been with him for years. She even taught him how to write. She was to be sent away. To earth. As garbage. Away from the family and planet she knew. At least, that was what was written.
It was carried out with barely a thought. It had the Anise seal. The writing of a great Saiyan. Who would question? And at first no one did. Salak was taken away as a living piece of trash might have been and sent towards earth to be recycled or destroyed. No one awaited her upon her arrival to the new planet, but the woman would vanish from the heap of trash she was piled with. Once on the new planet, she’d slip away. Azuki had taught her a thing or two about suppressing her Ki. Hiding in plain sight so it seemed at time. This was a new start. A new way to begin her life in order to take down her home planet. The disgusting Vegeta.
Salak became Durian. No longer a frail girl of dresses and bows. A Kagami that sought power to undo what had made her life, one who was now in hiding but would rise from those ashes. Her name change, her appearance shift. She would hope many would take her for a man and very much hope no one was familiar with Kagami. In time the Anise family would find their dead son. Would know she was missing. And if she knew anything of stubbornness, they would come looking for her. She would be ready.
Three years on the Earthen planet. She took small jobs and lived as she could. Someone needed fruit picking? Durian could do so. Someone to beat up for fun? Durian could do that. Race? Sure. Clean? Yup. The woman would take the work offered and take pay in coin, food, or housing. It was little different than Vegeta except for one sole factor. She got to choose. And choose she would. She was still alone and would take things that way, but she would choose how to become stronger. The path to return home would be a long one. But she had time. Oh did she have time.
IC Development
Stay Your CourseA sampling of Durian's time on Earth. Work in the day and training in the evening. Or if her jobs happened at night, she'd train in the day. Working hard to try and reach her goal. Strength.
Mirrored BloodThe Kagami had been on Earth two years and never seen another Kagami in that time. Meeting Emer had proven disheartening. At least at first. He kept mentioning how he welcomed death. Even when she tried to convince him he was needed to save their people, he would remind her that death would claim him and he would be happy. No matter how frustrating he was, he offered her help. Come to his ship in the next few days.
Train Me Again
Durian went to this ship. She met Hinawa, an Earthling with a physical affinity to a fox. Their training began immediately and the first blow to Durian was fire to the face. Her Kagami blood showed off briefly in mimicking the fox's attack, but her strength proved inadequate to completely elude damage.
Bathed in FlamesTaking to the city for salves to heal her burned face, thanks to Hinawa, Durian runs into a peculiar young lad. Marcel Law. He's somewhat depressed about a recent occurrence when he nearly killed another person. Durian takes the time to try and assist him, somewhat bonding with the lad. They part on good terms, saying they should train with one another in the future.
After a DrinkDurian returned to the ship to find that Hinawa and Emer were gone, ship as well. When she met Marcel in the city she had seen a sign looking for work. Hired at a local bar, she does her work and makes a new acquaintance.
Flames in the MountainsTaking a job from one of the patrons at the bar, Durian learned they needed assistance clearing out pests from their house in the mountains. Making her way there and beginning to fight the creatures off, an unexpected adventurer greets her. Helping Durian fight the creatures, showing much skill and high relevance to the Saiyans she had grown to hate more fully, she learns that Levlidian is indeed of Saiyan blood. Both of them climb in fury, Levlidian eventually threatening that she become an ally of his or die where she stood. Durian lies in saying she'd be an ally, returning to the city in hopes of hiding. She learned that her hatred is all she has. And she'll sacrifice all of herself to end the Saiyan race forever.
Home is Where the Heart isLeaving work, Durian wished to just spend time alone, thinking if she should go seek out Hinawa in the North. Instead of solitude she found a small group of men attack her. Due to them being nothing more than gruff humans and her having more power than their simple race, she was able to take them out without raising obvious power spikes. It didn't matter as she still drew the attention of a female warrior. She challenged Durian, to which the angry Kagami berated her. Throughout the words of both of the women, Levlidian hid in the shadows, biding his time for...?
For Ice Caps and MountainsTravel to the North. Who knew it'd be so cold? Durian doesn't know her way and merely needs to find the Capitol. It's freezing, there's snow everywhere, and she senses a strong power signature. It's a Saiyan. Of course. She tries to make her way around him, she can't turn back. All that's behind her is snow. Darkness will fall and she'll freeze if she doesn't press on.
The Kagami and the FoxA mansion. This fox woman lived in a mansion. Durian entered an environmental dome that held this mansion. Spoke to Hinawa. There was a vague agreement to train, Durian would stay in the area. And.. Levlidian was here? So much for hiding from him.
Telepathic ReunionMaybe training by herself in the open winter tundra would provide her some peace. Focusing upon her own ki and energy, she attempted to steady her body and mind in the snow. Until her mind was bombarded by messages. Marcel? That odd lad from the city in the South. He trained her to use telepathy to speak to people. Speak to him. And... Destiny came up. Marcel believed in destiny. That thought had never really come to the Kagami before then, but that was ludicrous. Destiny meant that the universe would let her be destroyed. Had let her be destroyed and she had no say in what would happen. She wouldn't have it. Their conversation ended abruptly and she hasn't heard from him since.
Encounter of a Strange KindStaying in the mansion with the fox and the Saiyan, as well as any other students this fox took on proved to be... challenging. A break to the Northern Capitol was what she needed. Not to mention there was the responsibility of working for her keep. Buying food and supplies for that damn mansion. A shopping trip didn't prove to be simple. A prideful and arrogant little saiyan cat, Lisbeth. Annoying as hell and even threatened a merchant. How dare these Saiyans put themselves above others? Another aggravating person, Callion, decided to not lower his power level in the midst of all these people. What did that prove? Yet... when he came to speak to her he was overly nervous and seemed pleased. He even mentally was freaking out to become her friend. Why... was that important? The Natural State of BeingReturning to the mansion would have the Kagami notice the Saiyan leaving in a huff. He caused her stress. Following after him to see if she could prevent any destruction, she was reminded how much slower she was on foot compared to his flying. Someone would arrive before her in a peculiar car. The scene would unfold where a Demon and a Saiyan would become part of a game. Battling to gain favors from the other. Levlidian grew aggitated, Durian's attempts at dissuasion proved to make it worse, and the Demon was somewhat amused by both of their responses to him. In the end, the Demon fled without finishing the game. Levlidian prepared to leave in a rage before Durian struck him in the face, sending him hurling into the icy tundra. Rather than fight her, he oddly complimented her and led her into privacy in the snow.
Empty Places, Empty Minds
The Desert. Back where she had started. She had heard rumor of possible Kagami being locked away, working for some overseer. If that was true, she needed to know and save them. Taking the trip from the North, she once again would travel across the world. Crossing the desert was never easy, but she didn't expect to find a Demon and Kagami there. This woman knew Emer, immediately making Durian wish to provide her no information.
Chapter 3: Ep 2: A New Arc (Resurrection of K)
So many people in the desert. After leaving the Kagami and Demon, Durian would come across a power level she knew. Levlidian. Why was he in the desert? She didn't know. Asking for him telepathically, she boarded a run down ship of wreckage. Once on the ship she would feel amazingly awful power. Horribly high. It was terrifying. Yet... someone called to her? Entering a room that held two men, she found them both to be her worst nightmare. Saiyans. As conversation continued, she found her anger rise. This new Saiyan, Kazar, was foolish and young. Avoiding the negatives of life. But she found out information that would begin to crush her soul. People could come back to life after death. This man, had died. Saiyans could live again even after death. Stubbornness carried her forward, but Lev ranting and putting pressure on her temporarily broke her spirit. They were Saiyans and she was a slave, would that ever change? Especially if they could just come to life again? Kazar just left them, inviting Durian to stay. While the young halfbreed would leave them to train, Levlidian proposed that the two of them explore his ship. As a slave, she obeyed, leading the Saiyan off.
I'll Survive. ParanoidImmediately taking place after Chapter 3, above, Levlidian would leave Durian and the ship. Durian stayed and spoke further with Kazar. He didn't understand or he didn't care. Struggling with her own thoughts but also remaining hateful and stubborn, the worst would come to pass. Saiyans. Multiple of them. They had located her power signature? She wasn't sure how, she was mostly meant to be useless in her world, she had grown stronger since then, and they should not know her name (Durian). Yet, here they were. Kazar fought them off, as any Saiyan might, they can't get over their need to fight. He saved her from being dragged off. Stumbling back into the ship injured and tattered. The confused Kagami saw a chance. She struck him in the side in attempt to once again end his life. One less Saiyan. Unfortunately the attack was stopped. She expected her own life to end in these moments, yet it never came. Kazar tried to appeal to the female's broken and confused heart. Sadly for him, the stubbornness of the Kagami hung to hatred. She helped him reach his couch which was vastly out of character for her, even bringing him bandages. Their time together ended once he brought emptiness to her. Durian was the queen of emptiness. It merely solidified her need to leave, to know that Saiyans were scum. right?
If You Wanna Get Out AliveFinally getting to what she wanted. Saving those Kagami from the rumors. Finding a large building hidden within a forrest of the south, it was near gone from sight. So far away from people that hardly anyone could have known of its existence. She snuck in, keeping track to not be caught after the initial slaying of the guards at the door. Surveying the building, she would find a multitude of people working in one large room. She would come to find they were working on an addictive toxin. Creating, packaging, and distributing. The Kagami was found and she attempted to break these people free. They weren't her own people, but she was already here and in danger. She tried. She failed. A huge explosion would consume the building. All metal, all people, all trees in the vicinity. The force was blocked somewhat by the Kagami, a sort of barrier blocking the immediate force. She was still thrown. She was still injured. Laying among a mass of destruction she lost consciousness.
-thread with Raisu forgot to grab link-
The Kagami woke from the destruction. Disheveled and beaten, her mind was clouded. Where was she? Who was she looking for? Her concentration and ki were a mess. Her power level fluctuating wildly and her energy completely depleted. She had failed in saving those people. She nearly died. Now... what did she do? Still try to kill those Saiyans who could just come to life again?
Documentation 003Levlidian had told her to meet him in the South. This "promise" and meeting being made at the time of meeting Mammon. She had regained her senses and healed up somewhat. On her way to her destination, following Lev's ki signature, she would come across a Namekian. Namorel. They had small banter back and forth but he seemed to want to mention more.
Darkness that BindsShe met Levlidian upon the mountains. Durian expected him to greet her, to notice her, but instead he was wrapped in his own little world. There was a grave upon these mountains and what she saw shook her already shaky beliefs. The Saiyan was crying. Not only could she not kill them forever. They weren't even monsters. Here was a pureblood full of sorrow for someone else. The two of them shared their memories and minds, dwelling in the horrors of one another's past. When Durian would attempt to flee, the Saiyan would entice her back. With no idea how to continue forward, Levlidian offered her a future. Adventure. It seemed silly, but she had nothing. Upon his ship, he'd open his life to her. The Kagami was bombarded by her own goddess and mind, being pulled into a mental world of continual torture of that one day where it all changed. Levlidian attempted to comfort her, to which he accepted the Goddess' help in pulling himself into Durian's mind. Both of them living in a world of memories and mind, he saw her pain, she saw his as well. Mixing together into a confusing mess of emotion and past events. The Saiyan would find it overwhelming for his mind, his pain and hers, the frustration and inability to do anything. He'd grasp hold of a golden figure, one that he would recognize. And in that world of the physically living he would find his Super Saiyan form, partially destroying his ship in the process. Durian was snapped out of her trap by his intervention, leaving her to pull him out of the mental depths of emotion. Exhausted, the pair would decide on falling back to Levlidian's room, Durian assisting in him getting their. Small conversations convinced the Kagami to stay with him that night, helping to comfort the Saiyan that was now a friend and lighten his load. Their day ended in slumber and somehow less hatred than when it started.
-thread to be had/posted-
The morning after the events between Levlidian and Durian. A confused pair that sought comfort in the other. Upon asking Levlidian if this was a passing 'instinct,' as he had called it the night before, she was solidly told that he wanted her for more than a moment. The two fell into a seduction of one another, mentally, physically, and mingling souls. Becoming enchanted by the other, they took their time in moments of passion to further fasten their bond. Following this, between complimenting the other through affection and small joys, they would bind themselves to one another. A signature of the Kagami, a verbal agreement to belong to the other and devote themselves to the other. Levlidian and Durian had promised one another their lives; past, present, and future.
Times PastDurian's whole life has been rearranged. Her personality, her wants, her desires. She looks upon the person she was and wishes to make amends. Reaching out to those that she has hurt or treated unkindly, she asks to meet with them and apologize for the harm she's caused. As well as offer what she can to make it up to them. Kazar takes her up on her offer to meet, offering for her to stay on his ship when she arrives late in the night. The next morning they discuss and she apologizes, finding that he's still pretty badly wounded. From her actions in the past.

SupportTo Protect the Heart [SU1] (6k)
Through a quick release of her ki, a brief flame ki based barrier emerges of redness in color. It sprouts at her heart and near instantly extends to a sphere immediately surrounding her body. This technique does not cause damage to opponents as much as acts as a physical manifestation of defensive ki, thrusting back attacks away from Durian that are within 100% of her PL. This technique uses 1 KP in KP Battles and cannot be charged.
To Replace Her Heart [SU2] (12k)
Through a quick release of her ki, a brief flame ki based barrier emerges of redness in color. It sprouts at her heart and near instantly extends to a sphere immediately surrounding her body much like the SU1 version. The difference in this technique is that the red ki will briefly take the form of her body, acting as a sort of after image but of all red tint. This technique does not cause damage to opponents as much as acts as a physical manifestation of defensive ki, thrusting back attacks away from the area where her body had been that are within 200% of her PL. This technique uses 2 KP in KP Battles and cannot be charged.
UtilityEnergy Sensing [UT] (Starting)
Due to her goddess and her awareness of her own ki, she is capable of feeling the natural energy of living beings, she has an understanding of the power level of other non-android warriors and can feel the power of the attacks they are using compared to her own. Energy Suppression [UT1] (Starting)
Durian are capable of suppressing your power in order to better hide herself from the gaze of those with Energy Sensing or those utilizing a Scouter, so long as she is not making use of powerful techniques(anything that would consume KP in a KP Battle) she can remain undetected by friends and foes alike! This technique uses 0 KP in a KP Battle

Species TraitsMimic
As their name suggest, they are able to mimic other races, due to this they have a special ability, that allows them to copy 1 move from a single fight. This is not a permanent gain, but instead the move they mimic, can either be used to counteract the attack, or be used as an attack for themselves. (Can only be used on moves that do damage and takes up the same amount of KP as the move they are copying.)
Greater Physical Prowess
Due to living with the Saiyans, the Kagami have developed something quiet similar to Zenkai, a bit weaker at only a 20% boost to battles.
Transformation Path of DestructionIrith's Blessing x2
In this form, Kagami call upon their goddess to give them power, through a small chant, a Kagami can temporarily increases their current bodies capabilities by two folds. Though the after effect of this, is that the Kagami's body is in crippling pain for days to come. Because they extend their body to allow this much power be transferred into them.
Doppelganger x6
Durian gains the appearance of the opponent. During this time, their body morphs to make an artificial looking clone of the enemy. But it also is in negatives, meaning the opposite of the color scheme. So Red would become Pink, White would be black, Blue would be purple. Etc. 6x
Enraged x15
Durian becomes berserk. Her hair turns into that of a red hue, her body near doubles in height and muscle size. Known in the Celtic regions as the berserker mode, this form makes her forget about her own body and her allies. She is like a raging Oozaru in this state. [Tech to Gain Control?]
