I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD A ship. A huge damn ship had landed. Why? Battle, war, dominance. Saiyans were so high on their horse they would attack anywhere and everywhere they could. Who knew what Saiyans might know of her presence on Earth. Maybe some were here to retrieve her or kill her. Maybe that was selfish thinking that she was important in some way. But there was one thing that Durian knew. She couldn’t be anywhere near Satan City. No matter the amount of jobs and people that she could work for, it was too dangerous. Too many Saiyans that could spot a Kagami. Too many people who could end her life in an instant. She wasn’t strong enough yet. She likely didn’t have enough power to take on one Saiyan warrior, let alone a multitude. So she’d go to the Diablo Desert. Out of the East and to the South. It wasn’t a city and it didn’t have plentiful people and jobs. But it would have work. Everywhere had work. Whether someone was shoveling sand or smacking the bugs off of some aristocrat. Somewhere in the area, someone would want to hire a person. All it required was her getting her foot in the door. It didn’t take long to find a place to work in the desert. Mines. There were caves of mines within the hot and airy wasteland of sand. So that’s what she had taken to over the past few months. Working in the hot sun. Even if the caves had shelter from the blinding sun, the heat would permeate the underground. Hot bodies working along with the dry outside air. Moving in and out of the caves to move gems that were dug up and collected. They were long days work and tiring, but she got fed. A tent in the working camp. And a small bit of pay. Night falling on the desert surrounding her, it would quickly cool. Her shoes upon her feet, black slacks, white shirt and black jacket upon her body, she’d head off away from camp. She wanted to clear her head. Get out some aches and pains from the day. Normally she skirted the jacket because of the heat, but in the night the chill would soon come. It would be useful. Sand made it a tad more difficult to walk, the ground beneath her literally shifting with every movement. With an irritable sigh, she’d take to the ranges. The mountain ranges weren’t incredibly close, but not super far. They lined along the edge of the desert and at some parts started forming into more lush, green area with a cascading river from a waterfall. It was the river that she would hear and catch her attention. While a chill may come soon, her clothes were still soiled. Days of working and sweating in long sleeved clothes and masks and gloves got pretty hot and pretty awful. Taking to the river, happy to be in the moonlight rather than the sunlight, she’d begin to shed her clothes. Little by little. First gloves and mask would leave her body, along with her jacket. Kneeling by the river, letting the cool water soak her clothing and begin to wash away beginning remnants of sweat and dirt of days past. She’d listen and remain quiet. Her Ki was repressed to the point no one should know the difference between her and a scorpion hiding among the rocks. Hopefully. Breathing deeply, the young woman kept her thoughts on what she was doing.

Sleepless
Thread Pl: 24,500 Heavy weights off..
Emer couldn't sleep, waking up within his small cave with a sudden jolt. His body rocking with pain and sweat His clothe dampening themselves against him. Well if they could even be called clothes, there where worn out bandages soaked with his blood. His heavy cloak wrapped around him to provide some comfort. Irith had alerted him slightly, sending out a resonating ping that people had drawn near. With a groan the tall Kagami came to his feet. The world swaying and swishing in a rapid motion... Just what was going on? Perhaps it was the lack of blood flowing throughout his body.
Or Emer had awoken with a start, and his body not fully realizing it was awake. 'Damnit Irith... Don't do that. If it's not a real threat, don't just suddenly alert me like this.' The young man grinding his teeth together as he steadied himself. His arm shooting out and smacking dully against the rock. The goddess within his conscious began to grimace the chilly night air rushed in through the cave's entrance, using his hand to guide him through the dark cavern he finally emerged at the entrance. Looking around the shrubbery and grass that grew along side the mountain hid his own small home.
'Emer... just go back to sleep, your body is trying to repair itself.' Repressing down the female goddess, he heard a mental sigh from within. 'Irith, don't worry so much... I'm just going down to the river to clean my bandages.' his mind swaying with mixed thoughts between the two. Just what exactly had she alerted him for? It was the middle of the night, and he didn't sleep peacefully to often. And so, his own peaceful rest had been disturbed by the one that was suppose to protect him.
As he made his way through the lush green area, Emer took care to hide his own presence, the cloak clinging tightly to the man. His body sweating and covered in beads. His breath rapid and slowly calming down as he moved closer. Soon the sound of rushing water filled his ears. Pushing the last of the brush out of his way, he came out onto the river side. The cool water rushing by with a steady shh, and filling the normally void abyss of nothing. Without thinking to much to look a round, he moved to the river and began to remove hi sown cloak, revealing a heavily scarred body, and a missing arm. His eyes glowing red.
The woman could see him in full, he was toned and muscled, he had a giant stature of a seven foot eleven kagami, taller than any other of his race. His blood red eyes shining within the dark as he removed the bandages around his body. As he began dunking the strands into the water, he kicked his cloak into the water, it sunk down with a massive splash, alerting him to the woman beside him. As he had followed it and caught sight of another person.
If he hadn't of just kicked the heavy weighted cloak into the river, he'd of never noticed her standing there, with nothing on. Pretty much just like him. Normally others would freak out and begin covering themselves, but Emer had already seen so many bodies, and been used against his own volition that he didn't care anymore. He didn't make any movements towards her, just continued to wash his clothing with one arm, using the rocks below to scuff out the blood and dirt.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD There was another. Her ears alerted her to footsteps when he was already close. It was like he didn’t even notice her. Throwing bandages and a cloak into the water like she didn’t exist. On one hand, that was good. He hadn’t noticed her which meant he wasn’t looking for someone in the first place. On the other hand, it’s always a sting to pride that her obvious presence goes unnoticed. It wasn’t an overwhelming sensation, but it may have made her the slightest bit more irritable. The man would continue to get down and wash his clothing. He was a large man. War torn. Arm Lost. There were marks upon his body and he towered over even your taller than average man. Pale skin, glowing eyes. There was an inkling, a wondering, if he might be Kagami. That white-ish hair... one couldn’t really tell in the night. The moon’s light and here wasn’t direct enough to let her know. Dropping her bare body to her knees as she had planned, she washed her own clothes. Digging into the bed of the river much like he was, she saw his gaze move to her. He had noticed her when he dropped his cloak. Cleaning into her clothing, setting each piece aside when she was done with it. She’d set it upon the ground beside her pale thighs. Around her body. She kept a corner of her eye upon the man, but also on what she was doing. Why had he come out the exact moment as her? Why right here? She was itching to get out of the area. It was all too convenient and a little nerve-wracking. And then he would speak to her. The giant, torn man would speak. He looked tired as hell and he was saying how he’d be done soon. Stalling her motions for just a moment, she’d take a side glance to the man. “You look like you need to be in a hospital. Not out washing your clothes.” The woman would reply almost flatly. What was she supposed to say? Do you know who I am? Are you here to take me away? Because that would be super helpful. Exhaling deeply as a sigh through her nose, she’d return to her own clothing. Scrubbing faster, she hoped to get done to escape. Her bareness didn’t bother her. His bareness didn’t either. The fact that he was here in the middle of the night at such an inopportune time DID bother her. She had originally thought about sticking around a while. Letting the chilled air cool her skin and start to dry her clothes. But now... maybe she’d wear the wet clothes back to camp. It might not be the wisest decision healthwise in the short term. But in the long term to escape this unknown man? Maybe. There was still that itching bite that he might be of her home planet. “Sleeping through the night and being more aware of strangers might help you in not getting beaten up.” She’s speak again, standing to her feet as she finished her speedy job in washing the jacket. Her last piece of clothing. Shaking it once, she’d set it upon the ground and go to grab her trousers. Might as well get dressed and ready to hike out of this place. Even if she was digging for information on him, she couldn’t imagine it’d be good. ----------------------------

Sleepless The woman didn't seem to budge to much when Emer had come out of the woods. In fact she seemed to drop to her knees and continue her small movements of washing her clothes. Although it didn't really bother him when she began to pick up speed in washing her outfit. However Emer kept a slow steady pace, the reason being he only had one arm. So he wasn't able to move at the speed of most people when it came down to washing their clothes. Hell in fact he wasn't sure he'd ever be able to get back up to speed with that.
The frosty air nipping at his now soaked hands however, had caused the Kagami to shake a bit. Hell it was cold out, he was covered in wounds and scars. His own skin itched and crawled with each opening that had begun to heal itself. However as the two endured one another presences, the girl began to speak. He heard the soft voice at first, mistaking it for Irith, but it soon lead to the stranger just a bit away from him. Looking up slightly at her, he listened to what she had to say for the moment.
She mentioned that he looked as if he belonged at the hospital. Looking down at himself more thoroughly, his entire body was covered in scars, the burns running along most of his length lead to believe he had been caught within a hell storm. Taking this into mind, the Kagami nodded his head slightly before he returned to his endeavor. "That would be an optional setting, if it wasn't run through the mill with filthy monkeys inhabiting it's quarters." He had gotten so used to calling the saiyans filthy monkeys, he often forgot whom he was talking to.
They might not even know what he was referring to, but in his mind it made perfect sense. What other race out there could turn into a giant fucking monkey? Not many after all. Continuing his small movements he let a small sigh escape. "Sides, why would It trust complete strangers? When those I've decided to let in try to kill me instead?" The last statement was more of him talking to his self, completely disregarding the woman, as his personal thoughts seemed to come to the surface. Not being around others for so long, would cause that to happen to a man.
The woman seemed to be shaking her clothes at this point, beginning to get herself dressed he looked up slightly at her. "I don't suggest putting on your clothes until their dry. You'll catch some god awful disease that these humans called some fancy scientific word." Emer hadn't the time to catch up on the medical terms of earth, simply because he was fighting against a race, that had enslaved his people for so long. When he heard the woman talk about how being more aware might help in him not getting beaten he couldn't help but chuckle, even if it was saddening.
"Honestly, that'd be a welcomed change... To end this thing I call a life... What use is it, for every tail I remove, for every head I take. Those damn monkeys breed more and more, even using my fellow species as a damn troweling ground. Breeding into their own line, just so they can make sure to produce even stronger warriors. Disgusting..." His eyes had removed themselves from the woman.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD He had listened to her hospital comment. He even inspected himself, looking at the torn body that was his. What in the world had he gotten himself into? But his answer would surprise her. Eyes on him for a moment, she tried to figure out if he meant what she thought. Filthy monkeys. There had been times she had heard humans say it against others of their own race. But there were also those that she could refer to as monkeys. Those back at home. Those who had owned her. Was this strengthening her argument that he was kagami? Or was she thinking too hard into it?
Durian didn’t know but she couldn’t figure it out on the information she had. Continuing in her efforts to leave, she would rush through her movements until she heard a heavy sigh from the man just along the river. He spoke again. But it was detached. Not at her. Raising a brow, turning her attention to him, silently she would watch his form. What horror had he gone through that those he knew tried to kill him? Whatever it may be, he certainly wasn’t inviting her in. It was empty words for himself and whatever inner workings he had. Standing, taking her trousers and placing one leg at a time, she’d pull them to her waist and fasten them around her hips. Shimmying somewhat against the freezing fabric, she’d long for a slightly warmer tent back at the camp site. Maybe if she ran... it would be over quickly. Interrupting her thoughts came the deeper voice of the male. Turning her gaze over and down at him, she seemed surprised at the... concern? “I don’t want to stick around here with someone I don’t know, who’s intentions I don’t know. And I’m not walking back across the desert naked.” She’d reply, looking at him for some further retort or possibly even to shrug her off. What he spoke next he certainly hadn’t expected. She had just pulled on the white blouse. It was still open down the center, not a button clasped, but there was a bit of irritation in her eyes. A sad chuckle and then such a disgrace. Leaving the rest of her clothing where it lay on the ground, she’d cross a few steps towards the kneeling man at the side of the river. “You come from my planet, are of my people, are helping our people. And you want to give up? Get on your feet and prepare to fight, or strike yourself in the heart. Don’t wash blood and mud from your clothing so you can wallow in pity and not fight for those who could have suffered more than you.” There was anger. Maybe a bit of pain, but mostly frustrated anger. The woman was cold with the clothing, shivering slightly, but some of that also came from rage. Here was a Kagami. Tall and strong and independent. And he wanted death. ----------------------------

Awakening Emer was still working at getting the blood out of his bandages when he heard her remark about not wanting to be around someone naked that she didn't know. A small laugh escaped Emer as he turned his attention to her slightly. "I suppose that makes sense, but do not worry, I have no interest in your body." To a few women that might be a little insulting. But for Emer he was speaking the truth. He had little to no care for the need to bed someone. He had been used that way for a long time, and lost all of his desire for such interactions.
"As far as walking across the desert naked, that'd be a terrible idea in my experience." He said as he began to remove the bandages from the river, along with his cloak and other clothing laying them beside his body. That's when he stood up to at least give her a small nod of his head as she began to leave. "The reason I say that, is because you gt sand where you don't want it. And well, it's not easily removable." He remembered when he had gotten knocked flying into the sand by Nai-ran.
That was not a pleasant memory. He started to relive it, until the other woman came marching across to him. Standing right next to him, she was almost two heads shorter than him, her own face coming to the man broad chest. His eyes starring down at her, as she had a look of irritation on her face. It seemed he had stated something that upset her? But just what was it he had said, that's when she went on her tangent, not with holding any of her words for a complete stranger. That kind of reminded him of Hinawa in a way.
He'd listened to all she had to say, calling it her own people, that's when a feminine voice seemed to flow out of Emer, it was a soft gentle woman like voice. One you would expect from a mother of sorts. Not from a grown man. As Irith decided it was a good moment to speak. "Child, you do not know of Emer's past. This man has fought thousands of those that have enslaved your people. And still to this day throws himself into battle after battle. Sure he seeks death, but he won't just let it come easily, they'll have to earn it." The blue tint in his eyes fading slightly as Irith receded.
"Damned woman, I told you not to take possession of my body..." He said obviously irritated at Irith for taking control of his body without permission once again. "As far as striking out my own heart, that's a bit hard to do even for those against me." AS he looked down at his chest, she'd see scars everywhere except for one spot where they all stopped. On his right side of his chest, was a pare patch of skin unmarked.
"Most have tried to strike my heart, to bad they fail to realize it was created on the other side of my chest." Emer was born with his heart on the right side of his body instead of the left like most people. "As for our people? I still fight for their freedom, day in and day out... But if death shall find me? Then it was meant to happen... I've gone through this life with nothing but pain and betrayal." Pulling his hand to his mouth he bit his thumb slightly and held out the freshly bleeding extremity. "Do you wish to test your determination? Fight your way through my own memories?"

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD The interest in her body wasn’t really the concerning factor to her, not entirely. It was more... having to fight off someone naked or needing to run off bare made for inconvenient situations. If he would attack her and she took to the woods, being naked would not help her at all. It would likely hinder her. But there was no real need to address it. Simply giving a nod, she would let that part of the conversation go. It wasn’t important. Then the man brought up going naked across the desert. How it wasn’t a good idea. Well what in the world did this man want her to do? Tightening her lips, sending a look his way of slight frustration, she wasn’t sure where the hell he was going with all of his opinions. Just letting her know in general that her decisions were going to be wrong? Her rage ignited. She approached the man. The one who wanted to quit. Welcome death. How dare he? When it came time for him to speak, the man having raised to his feet, a woman spoke. A soft and gentle voice. The dread and hatred that she felt chilled her soul as much as her damp skin to the cold air. How dare these goddesses speak? There was a stirring within her own mind, as if someone meant to retort or assist in calming her. Then it reconsidered. And nothing was done. “I’ll never care about his past if he seeks death over preventing the same fate befalling others.” The woman instantly sniped back, almost missing his reprimanding of his own inner goddess. He turned back towards her in attention. She was still none too pleased, if not less so. “I don’t care where your heart lies. Fight for those who have nothing or kill yourself. Don’t mope in between.” Her gaze barely left his face. She had seen his scars. His marks. His injuries. She didn’t know where he got them or how he got them. He may have fought Saiyans. He may have fought wolves. She had no idea. But here he was saying death was something welcomed. Their people were dying, enslaved, tortured. And he was free. He wasn’t enjoying it. He wasn’t fighting for it. He was wallowing. Pushing his hand aside with the back of her own, the irritable woman had no interest. “I have no reason to delve into your life, or you into mine.” It was almost a cold statement. She didn’t want to share blood with this man. His past was his and hers was hers. “You didn’t say if death would find you, then it would happen. You welcomed it. It’s the welcoming I won’t tolerate. If you can’t use your freedom, then go back to Vegeta. Welcome death there.”

Awakening Emer watched as the young woman seemed to turn o rage rather quickly when he began to speak about how he was welcoming death. It seemed that is what sparked her ignition, and even going so far as to snap at him for what his own goddess had said. A small sigh seemed to escape Emer's lips as he stood there for a moment. This woman was seemingly upset towards him, and even more so to the fact that he had even offered her the small chance to see his memories. Though she pushed his hand aside with anger lit words.
She was a feisty one even telling him to go back to vegeta, and to seek his death there as a slave. The young man seemed to look her over again, her shirt barely covering her bare body, her wet jeans clasping tightly to her long legs and small hips. He let out a small sigh as he shook his head. It seemed that this girl was indeed a Kagami by the way she spoke for her hatred towards the saiyans, but for her to blantly tell him to go back and be a slave was an insult in itself. He hadn't been granted freedom, he fought for it, escaped by himself.
But that last statement of going back struck a nerve, the tall Kagami's power skyrocketed more than likely shocking the girl with the amount of Ki he was putting out for a man so wounded. His eyes looking down at her, they glowed with a fiery red stare. It felt as if she was getting all the heat from him now, as if she was in immediate danger. However Emer would never bring himself to harm a fellow Kagami, so his ki just simply died down, without so much as a word said after it.
"I fought my way off of vegeta, through the saiyan army, through the King, and through those that had gotten in my way. Even to this day I continue to hunt and kill saiyans... But if death is to come to me in a battle it is earned... I have no fear of it. For I have died once already." He said with a sad look on his face, he remembered that time, it was something he hadn't enjoyed. The woman in front of him had no clue what that was like.
"Tell me, have you ever been stuck in limbo? Where you feel no warmth, you hear nothing? You sense nothing, there is no light. All of your senses are gone, and stuck in unending darkness? The only thoughts being your own? When death seeks you, there's always three paths, heaven, hell, or limbo. I was unfortunate to get that last option." He said with a small smile. "It wasn't to flattering to say the least." His eyes looking down at her body, as the moonlight bounced off of her, she had bite, maybe she'd keep this interesting conversation going longer.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD She had sparked a level of something in the other man. The eyes of her people glowed and the amount of power she could sense from him was immediate and overwhelming. Her whole body tensed and her muscles tightened, even going so far as taking a step back away from him. Durian had no desire to get into a physical fight with one of her kind. And she was not so much a fool that she would seek a fight with someone leagues stronger than her. Durian wasn’t a coward, or she at least didn’t want to believe she was. If there were some sort of situation where her death would assist in a greater cause, she would accept it. But there was no reason to die at this man’s hand. His ki would die down within moments, the threatening man calming himself. Durian had already received the hint, or at least that’s what it was to her. Taking a few further steps back, she’d not with to turn her back completely on him. He had just showed her power that could erase her very existence. “My issue is not with you accepting death as an option. It’s with your welcoming. If you renounce your desire for it, then I have no problem with you.” Durian would continue to explain her thoughts, her irritation still evident but masked a small bit by her hesitation to anger him further. The chill of the night was causing her some discomfort by this point. Gathering her clothes from the ground, her immediate attention would leave him in the process. Gloves, jacket, shoes... She’d need it all to return to camp with her. Durian didn’t wish to return to this spot if this man might remain here. ... did she? His words would strike her as she picked her things from the ground. Her hand just grabbing the cloth that covered her face, she would stop in her tracks. Unmoving for a second or two, her eyes upon her clothing, her mind would race back to the night she had lost her passiveness. Cold. Dark. Alone. Her body shuddered at the memory. Had she died? No... she didn’t think so. But it was exactly as he explained. An uneasy glance in his direction, she wondered if she may have accidentally gotten some blood on him or something to allow him to retrieve her memories. Was he screwing with her? Maybe he was actually sent to get her and he was toying with her. He certainly had the power level of a trained Kagami by the Saiyans. “Continue fighting.” Her voice was calmer now. Maybe the uneasiness of his words on death had chilled her heart. Or settled her. Or maybe she was that insistent on running. Straightening up her posture, all of her belongings were in her hands now. “With the simple threat you showed me, you can already cause greater change than I. How much harder will it be for me to continue if I see one of my own just give up? On himself, on me, and on us?”

Awakening Emer saw the small fear start to take over the woman as she seemed to stand there shocked at the sudden display of the mans power. Blinking slightly he cleared his throat, as he had slowly let his power down with her taking a step back. He didn't mean to scare her it was just something that happened, he let his emotions get the better of him towards the smaller kagami female. "Sorry...." Was all he could say as she was backing away. Perhaps this was why people always tried to strike him down? He left them in fear and an impossible situation?
However when the woman spoke again, she spoke about how her issue wasn't with him accepting death. But that he was welcoming it in a way, and if he would renounce that, she'd no longer have a quarrel with him. Emer's eyes soften slightly, but not to kindness or happiness, it was more towards the side of sadness. The man has already been betrayed so many times, not just from the past, but his current predicament. Yet this woman was telling him to renounce his claim to welcoming it? Hell it would be a better choice than that he was currently going through.
He stood there waiting for her to gather up her clothing in the mean time however, he noticed some small black clothing floating down towards him. Reaching into the small river he caught the black object before pulling it out for a moment. It didn't take him long to spot out what the object was before he held his hand out for the girl. It was her underwear, however the taller man didn't seem to be bothered by it, or freak out when he realized what it was he just held onto. His gaze staying on her.
"Hey... You might need these." He said still having them suspended within the air towards her. If she turned around to see what he was talking about, she would see what the man was now holding onto. However when she spoke about to continue fighting. Emer stood there for a moment, raising a brow of his. Why did she state that? Why would she tell him to continue fighting? Shaking his head slightly, he let out a small chuckle, one that seemed to be slightly better than the sad laugh from earlier. This one was much warmer, and calmer.
"I've never given up on the fighting. My peoples life still are in danger... I have a duty as the one that Irith has decided to reside within... To destroy every monkey I can until this body can no longer take it." Though, if someone looked at him right now, they'd say that couldn't be much longer. The man had already pushed himself, further beyond what most mortals could withstand. His body itself seemed to be slightly worse for wear. Hell most couldn't even guess his correct age with how he looked now. He looked to be at least around thirty or forty.
"So don't worry... I'll continue to rip those saiyan bastards apart... Even if I welcome death, I refuse to die by their hands." He said with a small solace to it, he had already died once to one, but that was after he had just fought off all of his friends, and the planet's strongest at that time... He was tired, and the man pulled out a form known as a Super saiyan, something never seen before that moment.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD
There was no real reason for the man to apologize to her. He had reacted by showing his power. She had reacted by backing away. Each had their way with dealing with things, she just felt no need to remain close to one who threatened her with raw power. It wasn’t wrong that he had, nor did she really feel offended. But her life was not worth gambling against one of her own. Especially one who seemed to have similar goals as hers. Free the Kagami. Revitalize their home without the hold of Saiyans over them. “It’s fine.” She would reply simply. It was. Everyone would show their power if they could. Maybe that was the draw that Saiyans had... They wanted to show so much power that her people just bent to their will. They broke people with their power and didn’t care. A ragged sigh left her lips, her irritation growing a bit once again. The woman’s eyes would be drawn to his. The red of her people compared to her duller ones. She wanted him to say he wasn’t welcoming death. He needed to say it. But all he did was look at her, his eyes softening out of his irritation or need to show power. But he wouldn’t. He wouldn’t say it. She just got that look. Gathering her clothes, she couldn’t help but feel empty at that. A strong Kagami. One that fought for them, would rather die. Having gotten everything back into her possession, the man’s voice came to her again. He held up a piece of fabric colored black. Studying it a moment, she realized that it was hers as well. Give another sigh, she’d begin crossing the distance between them again. Shifting her still dampened clothes to one arm, the chilled woman would reach out for the underwear which he offered. Hers. When her hands would grasp her clothing, he’d laugh. Her eyes would dart to his face, still trying to take the clothing from him. Why was he chuckling? His anger stirred her irritation again. He never gave up? What about giving up on his desire to live? She immediately trashed the sentence with their Kagami goddess. Something she didn’t even want to acknowledge. And then he said until his body could take no more. That brought the last spark to the flame. The red of the Kagami, the fire in his eyes would be matched by hers. The bright red glowing in the night, she’d stab the pointer finger of her hand holding her underwear into his chest. “You gave up your will to want to live. Your body is a piece of trash that the Saiyans would eat up. You couldn’t tear me apart in your condition. Yet you’re lecturing me about all that you can still do? Get a grip. You need a desire to live on, or you’re going to let yourself die without accomplishing what you could.” Voice low and almost near threatening. Of course she wasn’t challenging him. She knew that was suicide. Nor did she want to fight her brethren. She wanted to fight along side him. She wanted him to continue with life and desire life. Durian needed him to move forward and onward. To her, he was giving up. His torn body, his bandages... He allowed himself to get this bad and was telling her that he was still going to fight.

Awakening Emer was watching this woman curiously, she continued to grab her clothing, and didn't seem to pay attention to things she was losing. But she had stated that it was fine when he stated that he was a little bit sorry. However when she finished that statement, she let a ragged sigh escape her lips. It seemed that she wouldn't be able to keep up her charade for long. He knew when someone was irritated, and it seemed to show directly with this woman. And she was slowly shifting back into her true self. He saw the dullness in her eyes.
She had given up herself, why else wouldn't her blood boil, to where her eyes shined? She was being hypocritical to him. When she turned to look at him again, she'd be starring at those deep red eyes of Emers. That shown with the blood of the Kagami. She seemed to walk across the river once again to grab the clothing in his hand, she could of taken it at any time, but she just held onto it, no real strength to pull it away from her, she seemed to be dumbstruck by what he was saying. And yet the small anger in her sparked again.
When she spoke again however she put her finger into the middle of his chest, still grasping onto the small underwear. AS if she wasn't thinking about it, that is when he noticed the red in her eyes glow once more, instead of their black dull appearance, they burned a bright red with the passion of the Kagami. Telling him that he gave up his will to live, and that his body was a piece of trash. To most people that would be an insult, saying that the saiyans would eat it up.
That caused a small smirk on his face when she stated that he couldn't rip her apart. Before she could continue her lecture, Emer's hand shot out grabbing her mouth, though it wasn't a hurtful grip, but it was one that kept her quiet, and she knew from the iron grip of his that she wasn't going to be heading anywhere. His small smirk turned into a smile. "You speak about how in this condition I couldn't tear you apart, most people in my condition would be dead. I refuse to die right now cause a saiyan did this to me."
His voice was cold as ice, as his gaze was hard as a rock. "But, you've finally gotten your own will back, look at ya. Just a moment ago, your eyes were dull and lost, without a care for the Kagami blood within you. Now they burn a fiery red, to show the true passion of the Kagami. You tell me I've given up, and not to lecture you, but then what do you call yourself? You cower and hide from a challenge presented to ya. You attempted to run when I showed my strength? What use would you be against the saiyans?"
He continued his onslaught as he held her there with that single hand. Just how strong was he originally? If he had this much power in such a weakened state. "You'd be nothing compared to them, you'd be spit out and torn apart yourself. No you're a cutey, you'd be used as a breeding station for the army. You'll be confined to a cell, and used for nothing more than cattle." He was stating what he remembered in the time he had been there. He had been used in the same way, had seen others of his race used that way, abused and tortured.
"So let me ask this? What good did you do? When the saiyans attacked? I was out in the front battling them, taking on friends and foe alike, I fought my allies, I fought the saiyans, all because they had fallen in love with them. And died for that? And where had you gone? From the looks of it, you haven't fought a real battle in all your time here on earth. You have callouses from hard work, and a body that shows you've taken care of yourself. But I sense no power behind it. You ran and hid under a rock somewhere."
His voice growing red hot. "So now, before you tell me about how they'd tear me apart, and how I should continue with my will, look at yourself. You had the eyes of a dead man, Did I? No I still burned with the passion, I refuse to die until everyone is free. Even if it means someone like you, that has accepted her death, and is afraid of being caught." He finally released the woman's mouth as his eyes looked down at her. "I may welcome death, but my will to live is already set in stone. I won't stop until people like you, are free."

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD
Her little rant was interrupted. The larger man’s hand was upon her face and grabbing her mouth. It was a strong grip, one that she had just encountered in a dream nights before. A chill ran up her spine and darkness threatened her. Emer was lucky that her senses weren’t closing off. That her hearing didn’t fade into silence. Or... would it have been better if it had? The earth around her sounded muffled, like she was under water. His mouth moved and she heard his words, droning on and being manipulated by some unknown force. The physically chilled body of the female Kagami would further pale if at all able. The fire remained in her eyes, the bright red and anger, but also a very obvious twinge of fear. It may not have been this man directly, but memories crashed against her Alone and abandoned. She would quickly remember the ending of that night. The night with her dream. She was Durian. She would return to her home planet as a free woman. Not as a slave. Not even this man would hold her back. Releasing her suppression upon her Ki, even if it was not as direct or overwhelming as his, she would show her little power she had. Eyes narrowing in anger, her hand shoved into his chest would grip his wrist, tightening around it and digging her nails into his flesh. His words weren’t going to affect her. Durian knew she was weak and that she had no chance against most Saiyans. Let alone the armies. She had not been on the front lines. She had hid. But. She had a will to live. She needed to grow further to become of use. She wanted to live. To be free. To help the Kagami be free. She wanted to live, damn it. He’d finally release her mouth after his long tirade. The anger of the woman not shifting. Her body would remain close to his. Not backing down and not giving way. He wanted her to not back away? Fine. Staring directly up at him, those red eyes he wanted to see so badly firmly placed upon his face. “I will one day be of use against the Saiyans. And I won’t do that by dying. Or welcoming death. Don’t turn this on me. Stop welcoming death like a friend, or its going to take you. Have a little sense.” She was just as strongly convicted as before. Durian didn’t understand how he could claim a will to live, but still welcome death. To her, his welcome was what was tearing him down. Look at him now. Defeated and injured, yet walking around in the night and not aware of her presence when he first came upon her. What if she had been a threat?

Awakening The small woman seemed to stop struggling within his grip for a moment. He could see the fear upon her face, it was the same as his when he first started fighting for his freedom. It showed that she was thinking of the past, so he had been right to assume that she had given up in the past. Just as she had been now, however when she released her Ki, it was surprisingly high for a Kagami's. Maybe it was due to all the physical work the woman had been doing for all of her life. However a small hand from his chest went to grab his wrist
Squeezing onto him tightly to try and make him let go, even going so far as to dig her nails into him, drawing a bit of blood as she did so. It showed the small fighting spirit that she was gaining back slowly. A smirk appeared on his face as he saw that, the blood red in her eyes grew brighter as she was starring at him. It seemed that she was actually getting more and more worked up. As if she was finally giving into her anger, before his hand finally released her.
She didn't fall to the ground completely, instead she seemed to be starring at him, like he had done something so horrid, however she moved in closer to him, and even moved in to a place where most wouldn't dare. Being this close to the wounded man, talking about how one day she would be of use to her people. About how she'd be useful against the saiyans, and that she would continue doing her best, it was a lovely speech to be sure. But they had been empty words from the small woman as she looked at him.
Going back to telling him not to accept death. The younger Kagami tilted his head slightly. "Do you know why I welcome death? Unlike most Kagami I have a different gene, it's called the greater physical prowess. Every time I'm beaten down, every time I'm buried into the ground, and forced to death. Or even near it I grow stronger. Similar to a saiyans Zenkai, any damage I sustain, just drives my body to getting stronger. " He said with a blank face, so welcoming death wasn't a bad idea for him. Instead of learning how to Mimic like most Kagami, he simply took a different approach.
"And I have more sense than most, if that wasn't the case, I would be lying dead elsewhere... I know when to hide and take care of myself, I know when to watch how weak I get. But I'm not one to simply allow myself to be destroyed, the reason I welcome death, is cause I know I will die eventually. I will die several times to free my people, and each time knowing it'll be painful. But I know that I can come back from the dead... Maybe it's a limited time, but each time I die, I'll just come back stronger. That is what they call a Berserker."

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD
Durian wasn’t sure whether to be disgusted or impressed with the information he just forfeited. A gene that allowed him to be similar to a Saiyan. That if he died, he’d become more powerful. But, already lost in her irritated and rage, she would choose disgust. Irritation flooded her veins. He welcomed death as a power boost. His blank face infuriated her more. He didn’t care. What happened if he didn’t come back? Just one time. One time he might not return. He’d be gone forever. His people, those who cared for him. They would all be suffering through his death. Yet he welcomed it? “You use it to make you stronger? Let me kill you right now. Let me strike you through your heart so you can come back again.” Her words were bitter and angry. She made no move towards such a threat, but it was sickening.
“You have been lying dead!” She nearly yelled, exasperated. He told her of limbo. He died. He fucking died. He kept changing his argument. Kept trying to give her excuses. He’d die for his people. He was some self-sacrificing servant. Taking pain and death because he could. “You have met with limbo. One time, you might not come back. It takes one time. And you’re lost. What of the people who care about you? What about your goals to free Kagami? You have no fucking sense!” It was odd. There was a bit of dampness to her eyes. Barely noticeable, but with the close distance, if he was looking at her he might notice. Her voice was full of rage. Her body tense even as the water and air chilled her skin. Hell... that probably made the tension worse. She was shaking just a small bit. The anger and the cold forcing her body to move in these little convulsions.
