Post by Vi-Poi on Feb 9, 2017 4:27:58 GMT
Vi-Poi leaned back in his chair as Bing and Cipher spoke. He was getting one of those feelings, the kind that snuck up on you before it hit you like airfreight. Namek, the world they’d worked so hard to restore, was going to be in the hands of evil. There was a time when he didn’t believe in such a dire term. His early robotic mind had ascribed aspects like stupidity, greed, and self-interest in its place. But after living through so much of it, having been besieged by it, he felt differently. Evil was out there, the real stuff. It was a dark force coursing through the Universe.
The bad juju. Chi that reeks like Baoburger breath.
“I don’t know what Xylo wants,” Vi-Poi said, “but I do have an idea what Walker wants – everything between here and there, and the rest of it, too. I’ve never met a Bio-Android with a small ego, and he takes the cake.” His eyes turned to Cipher, and he shook his head. “You stay on Earth. If they hit us as unexpectedly as they hit Namek, we’re going to need every fighter.”
He detected the spaceship coming down before it crashed, but it was moving so quickly there was scarce he could do unless he wanted to shove a shield through half the building. It crumpled into the roof and through a few occupied offices, the hardened resins that comprised the structural portion buckling but holding the fireball in place.
Rising from his chair, Vi-Poi followed the rest out into the raceway, where the craft had split a massive fissure in the ceiling. Spinning red lights washed over everything, and as a new fire roared to life from one of the smashed engines, sprinklers dusted them all with cold beads of liquid fireproofing.
Through the disorienting crimson glare, he spied Etoru and Capper, that little Saiyan he’d met in north country.
He’s going to think we only have one outfit, Poi’s ghost murmured.
As the glow of healing pulsed above Etoru’s badly broken body, Vi-Poi turned Bing’s words over in his mind. He’d heard of both rooms before. With his gravity belts, it might help, but… he’d been training under gravity since he started fighting. If these things were so much stronger than him, or Zucceta, he wasn’t sure it’d be enough.
Vi-Poi toggled security off, but kept the medical response on in case Etoru or Capper needed attention from the medibots.
He stepped back into the conference room, to Zucceta and her second cup, both lucky enough to not receive a firestop dousing. “How ready is the Saiyan Solar Empire for another war?” Vi-Poi asked. “If Habana falls on Namek, they will likely still follow you.”
The android put his hands in his pockets. A pink flush crossed his face. “I’m going through, uh, changes. Like I told you before. My blood has gone from green to red. Dr. Slouch can’t account for it. But I can. Poi’s ghost is coming online soon. Real soon. He’s not just in my circuits anymore. It’s like I’m there, but I’m also slowly waking up.” His eyes lowered. “I… don’t know what kind of fighter I’ll be when this change is done. Poi’s power level was very low. He couldn’t even fly.” He was sure the queen knew his meaning.
The mainframe that had made Vi-Poi, in its great leap of faith, had designed the body and mind of the android to be a faithful recreation of its best friend. It’d built him the only way it knew how, on the foundation of a powerful Red Ribbon android. But the thing that had pulled Poi’s lost spirit out of that bunker with him was his true aspect and purpose. It was the intent of his design, and it’d been better executed than he’d ever imagined. Being able to shoot chi blasts and knock down buildings with a punch were just side effects of that secret sauce’s main ingredient, and he had no idea if he’d still have these bells and whistles when the timer buzzed.
“So we’re on a clock in more ways than one.”

Cipher listened quietly to Bing's words. The Pendulum Room, the Room of Shadows. Both were good training facilities, but would they be enough? Perhaps they could gather Earth's Dragon Balls and wish someone stronger, like Walker did with Nameks? No, it would take too long, plus was it really right to do so? At Vipoi's request for Cipher to remain on earth, the pale android nodded. After all, what use would he be to them when they faced Xylo? They were on a whole other league compared to him, and he'd only get in the way. It was a disheartening thought, but recent events had hammered that truth home.
He was pulled from his self deprecating thoughts by something slamming into the building. Cipher's first thought was that they were under attack, but the absence of the power levels of Xylo, Walker, and this new threat, quickly put that fear to rest. Cipher quickly followed Tekuma, Bing, and Vipoi out to the site, seeing that a ship had crashed into the building. Men were already on the scene, trying to contain any fires the crash may have caused, as well as surveying the damage.
"Are there any casualties?" Cipher spoke to a nearby soldier. "Yes sir, though only minor injuries, no fatalities to report." Cipher nodded, "Good. Get all injured personnel to si8ckbay immediately!" The soldier nodded and ran off to collect the wounded. As he got closer to the crashed ship, he saw the two pilots. The first as a small, rather familiar looking Saiyan. The other however caused his heart to stop momentarily.
Etoru...
The boy's energy felt weak, and even from where he was, he could see how gravely injured the boy was. He was even missing some of his limbs for crying out loud! Bing was already by his foster son's side, trying to heal the boy. On one hand, Cipher was relieved to see the boy had survived the nightmare on Namek. But seeing him in this state...it only hammered home how Cipher felt completely powerless to stop any of it. He wished he could have done something, ANYTHING. But if someone of Etoru's power could have something like this happen to him...Cipher had no delusions about his strength, and knew full well that he wouldn't have been able to change anything.
All his strength, and he was still powerless.
"How bad is it?" Cipher said softly as he approached them, his face showing just how he felt about this whole horrible situation.

MULTIPLIERS: N/A GAIN BONUSES: N/A TAGS: OOC NOTES: You're up, Tekuma Mayakon ! Post order is back to before now, I assume.
KEY "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
A DIRE WARNING Capper's blurred vision would only begin to swirl quicker with his hastened breaths when several blurred, blobby forms began to approach him and his friend. No, no, no, no! They weren't here to hurt him or Etoru while they were weak.... were they? Were they?! Catastrophizing, as usual, Capper would try to force himself to his feet with his friend still on his back. Pushing himself off the ground, the saiyan's arm would buckle before he fell back to the ground, legs flailing in rebuttal for a moment. Was this it? Was this his limit?
Capper knew he was weak and useless, but even now, in this dire time of need... He couldn't do a thing. All his resolve, all his words, all of it was useless in the face of raw power. Closing his eyes tight, the boy bit his lip as he wallowed in his old incompetence. He was powerless to help Chire. He was powerless to help Mayze. And now, he was powerless to help Etoru. But what could he do? He was a weakling. And that would never change, would it? Tears welling up in the corners of his eyes, Capper would weakly open one of them once more while he began to hiccup with droplets trickling down his cheeks. The figures were right above him now. Capper counted around three in total, with a fourth fading back into another room. Not getting his hopes for his cruddy luck getting better up, Capper would drop his head in defeat, closing his eyes and just waiting to fall into the abyss of unconsciousness. He had given up.
However, Capper would open his tired eye weakly when a voice penetrated the darkness. It was familiar... Where had he heard that voice before? Unable to distinguish Tekuma's blurred form due to his fatigue and lack of his scouter glasses, Capper's breathing would only quicken when she moved her hand towards him. There was something blurred, small, and green in her hand... What was it? The female spoke, and Capper could just barely make out her words. A senzu bean that would heal him right up...! Just like Capper's bean that Xylo snatched from Etoru. Ah, crap. Now he was even more sad.
"...No." Capper spoke in a weak, croaked tone. Every vowel was forced out as he spoke, just barely hanging on to consciousness with a Hofferson's trademark stubbornness. "Etoru..." Capper began, coughing once more and prying his head off the ground to stare right back at Tekuma. One of his eyelids drooped down while tears continued to trickle down his cheeks. His weak and shaking tone only intensified as he continued. "G...give it... to Etoru!" Capper spoke, a trace of frustration and perverse resolution in his tone. It seemed that these people were here... to help? Even Tekuma? But why? Why someone as useless as Capper? After denying the healing bean, the saiyan would continue on. "I... don't deserve... it. N-not after I let..." Capper trailed off, tears welling up again. Breathing quickening with a few more hiccups, Capper would continue to reflect on the events at Namek.
He recalled watching as his mom died in front of him. Watching as Etoru was incapitated. Watching as his general was slain. Watching, watching, watching. And every time he tried to act, the mechanic made things worse. Was doing nothing at all really better than taking action and making that gamble? They played right into Xylo's hands. Capper could have warned Etoru and his mother, but nooooooo.
Turning his head and forcing it off the ground once more, the saiyan eyed a faint glow in the corner of his eye when a weight was lifted from his back. A greenish blurred figure had pulled Etoru off of Capper's form, which momentarily caused him to jolt, only to fall back down to the ground in pain. The shards in his joints did not make movement very easy. A glow coated his friend's form, causing Capper's breathing to pick up again. What was happening to his friend?!
The Aurora's fires were mostly doused by the sprinklers inside the building, but the smoke eclipsed the ceiling ever still, coating the ground below in an eclipsed, misty light. Warning sirens and flashes of red light continued to flash and wail rhythmically, as if feeling as much alarm as those that stumbled across the two downed saiyans. Capper tried to force himself back up, but fell yet again. Closing his eyes, the boy would drag his form into a feutal position, burring his head into his legs while his mind began to swirl. His breathing finally began to involuntarily slow, with the darkness of the world of unconsciousness approaching fast...

(Suffered a bit of muse loss!)
Tekuma tried to attend to Capper as Bing healed Etoru, kneeling beside the smaller Saiyan. His weak, croaked tone soon turned to an upset and shaking one, confusing the cyborg. Had someone really messed them up that badly? The scouter he usually wore was gone and by the looks of it, he had a fair amount of trouble seeing judging by the fact he was squinting only slightly. "Capper, what happened? Please tell me and eat this bean, Bing's healing Etoru up and is using a lot of energy."
"The one thing you can do for Etoru is to eat this Senzu bean." He curled up in the fetal position and the tiny saiyan's breathing slowed, earning alarm from the woman who spawned a glass of water and crushed the senzu into it with her bare hand. Moving to pick up the small saiyan and tilt his head back, hopefully his natural reflexes would kick in and swallow the senzu/water mixture.
"Please Capper.. Don't die on us... I don't know why you hate me, but I don't hate you. I won't let you die if I can help it.."

Etoru lied on the ground weakly. He felt as if he were going to lose consciousness at any moment now. At this point, he had no awareness of his surroundings whatsoever. In fact, he couldn't feel anything, his vision was going dark, and his hearing was slowly tuning out as he was slowly about to go from being barely awake to being out cold. And then it happened
He felt a familiar cool sensation wash over his form. His eye twitched and his fingers barely moved. Etoru let out a weak groan as he slowly started to open his eyes. He saw a green gi, training pants to be exact. The shoes were...his shoes. But the only one to have that was--the boy looked up slowly, meeting with the face of Bing. "D-Dad....?" Etoru muttered in a confusing tone. It was a relief to bump into him. Especially 'now'. If he waited just a little bit longer, he'd probably be dead! Then, a thought just appeared in Etoru's head. The child let out a weak cough before warning Bing. "C-Capper...! He's pretty beaten up from the crash...."
Etoru didn't exactly turn around to see Capper or his condition. He was too injured to do so. But all that pain was gone now. He glanced over at him to see some...odd looking girl talking about why she doesn't hate him. Okay...? Etoru's seen weirder things, so he just shrugged it off. Besides, something else took greater priority for his thoughts at the moment. He grunted as he struggled to sit up. Once he did so, he put his missing arm in front of him. He cringed a bit, letting loose a gloomy frown. He wiggled his missing leg and gave a slight pout. He turned his gaze to his right side on the floor. This, too him, was a reminder of his defeat.

"I'm not huge on heading back into the swamp that is Saiyan Solar politics, Vi. But, yes, I imagine they would follow me again if I were to return to the throne. I hope Habana won't fall, however." She sipped her coffee, noticing for the first time that day its bitterness.
"How are they?" The saiyan queen asked, referring to Etoru and the other, weaker power level. It was fading away, fire in an ocean. She shakes her head and rises. "I guess I'll go and see them. Walk with me?"
Assuming Vi-Poi would join her, Zucceta would continue to listen to his monologue. Her eyes briefly widened when it set in; if Poi was resurrected as he was when he died, a strong ally of Earth and, perhaps, its greatest defender would be gone. She let out a small sigh, before locking eyes with his, coal eyes ablaze with determination as a saiya-jin grin tugged apart her lips to reveal vampiric confidence. "I guess I'll have to be good enough to fight for two, then. Just in case."
Entering the busted ship, she whips into the air and darts to the energy sources, reaching the room where the other warriors had gathered. It was immediately obvious what had occurred--Etoru had been healed by Bing, but his... injuries were too old to be fully restored. Zucceta had been working on a new version of the Furiosa implement with Vi-Poi; perhaps they could fit Etoru first. The other, a small saiyan clad in what was clearly recent Saiyan Solar Empire garb, was the one whose energy was fading away. The red-head was offering him a bean, it seemed, but he was refusing.
Zucceta's eyes narrowed. She had an idea how to go about this.
"You think it'd be honorable, the saiya-jin thing to do, to die like a little worm?" The saiyan queen booms, all monarch, as she moves next to Capper. She smirks. "You can live, and rise again to take revenge on those who hurt you, or you can give up, like a coward. Are you a saiyan or not?"
[Encouraging Capper to eat Tekuma's sensu in a way the saiyan queen thinks might work.]

The Ex-Guardian's magic worked as fast and as hard as it could, coursing through Etoru's body with determination matched only by its caster. At first, it seemed like hope had been lost, but the boy looked up, calling to Bing curiously. Bing's body breathed a sigh of relief. It wasn't a perfect job, but it was better than nothing, he supposed. He launched forward, gripping Etoru in the tightest hug he could muster without breaking bones.
"Etoru! I thought I'd lost you when that ship crashed!"
He pulled back quickly, realizing that it probably wasn't good to suffocate his son mere minutes after bringing him back from the brink of death. Bing gave his son time to adjust to his surroundings, before asking a couple of questions.
"How'd this happen? Was anyone else fighting alongside you? Habana? Mayze? Walker?"
His attention briefly turned to Capper and Zucceta. The little technician was vaguely familiar, but the exact details of their last meeting were a bit fuzzy. It had something to do with Zucceta's sister. He briefly wondered if Zucceta knew she even had a sister, but decided to ask some other time.
"Do I need to heal him too?" Bing asked worriedly.

Now that Etoru had risen thanks to Bing’s mending glow, Vi-Poi rejoined the growing crowd around them. The sprinklers had stopped, but his sneakers still ploffed with each step. The foam had a very low evaporation rate, and would have to be shoveled up by a cleaning crew. “Now that you’re up, mind telling me why you crashed through my ceiling instead of landing on the airstrip? Something chasing you?” He couldn’t detect anything nearby, though his deep-range scanning did sense something strange way out there that made him more than a little nervous. It was dark chi, similar to the Tree of Might he'd sensed, but this was more concentrated. He could feel it pushing back against his thoughts. This evil presence was aware in a way the tree hadn’t been.
"What happened over there?"

Cipher couldn't blame Bing for ignoring him. After all, Etoru was essentially his son, and his wellbeing was his top concern. As the android looked around, he could see Zucceta and Vipoi tending to the other saiyan as well. He hadn't sensed him on Namek, yet even now his energy level was quite small. A non combatant? Cipher was a little surprised to see that Vegeta had such individuals, considering they were a warrior race.
The android looked around. Everyone was getting to their work. Any injured soldiers were being escorted to sickbay, and others were standing by for if Etoru and the other Saiyan needed to be taken as well. Cipher couldn't help but feel a little pride in their initiative.
But this ultimately left him with nothing to do. He had told the three all that he knew, and now with Etoru and the new saiyan here, they could fill in on the details even more. There was no place for Cipher here. The android suppressed a sigh as he turned to leave the area. He had done all that he could. Now it was time for him to bow out. There wasn't any more he could do.
--- Cipher is attempting to leave the thread. PL for when he's out.

KEY "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
A DIRE WARNING Capper's weak and limp form was soon lifted off the ground, causing the saiyan to grit his teeth in pain as the shards lodged in his back shifted with his change in position. His hammering heart and rushing blood muffled out Tekuma's words. Something about not dying? As if! If Capper could survive Xylo's wrath, he could survive this! As discouraged and defeated as he was, the saiyan still had enough pride to narrow his eyes in hostility when he was plucked off the ground and held like a child. " You... Clod. Why are you...?" Capper spoke in a low hiss, his tone still a weak croak. Still, Capper felt like that he should be dying right now. Did he even deserve life after doing little to nothing to help his mother, Mayze, and Etoru? Capper had his doubts.
His reason insisted on fighting being pointless, and his experience spoke of giving up. Yet, that new little fire inside Capper began to whisper when yet another blurred-out figure approached. A somewhat familiar voice rang in Capper's ears as his eyes began to slowly close. It truly wasn't the honorable, saiyan thing to do to die like a coward now, like the voice said. But what could he do? He'd just screw over everyone else by trying. Sometimes nothing truly was better than something. He healed Xylo with his Senzu. He brought his mother and Etoru to Namek. But...
He did stand up to Xylo. He did save Etoru, in the end. And he brought his friend home. Capper closed his eyes tight, form going limp for a moment before his fists clenched. When Tekuma poured the senzu-water to the saiyan, Capper hesitantly opened his mouth, letting the healing liquid slip down his throat.
Almost immediately, the healing took effect. Coughing loudly, the saiyan squirmed with newfound strength, hopefully moseying out of Tekuma's grasp and back onto the ground. Grabbing his throat and gagging for a moment, the saiyan shook his head and hunched forwards for a moment, tail lashing about. Boy, did he hate it when a drink went down the wrong pipe. "Euuugh..." Capper mumbled, shaking his head and body as some of the shards of glass flew free from his healed body. His vision was still a blurry mess without his Scouter glasses, though. Squinting his eyes again, Capper would turn around and stretch a little, taking in a slow breath. "Okay! We're good. I'm good." Capper spoke to himself more than anyone, now a little more confident and calm, thanks to the saiyan queen, whom was still an unidentifiable blurred mess in Capper's impaired eyes.
Turning his head, Capper could just barely make out Etoru's small form near a larger blur. Tilting his head and squinting for a moment, Capper could just barley make out another oddly familiar man with the same clothing as his friend. Had they met before? Still, at this point, Capper could harly tell if he was real or a figment of his own imagination after everything that had happened. The saiyan heard another strangely familair voice chime. Now that he could hear more clearly, Capper could make out the question asked. What happened?
Looking up, Capper could make out the obscured sky and some smoke pouring from the extinguished flames of the Aurora. "...I'll pay for the damages." Capper chimed in a meek tone, rubbing the back of his neck. "But I was there. I can... tell you what happened." Capper spoke, clenching his fists and raising his forearms before lowering his arms to his sides, still looking quite glum. His mother's death left a deep emptiness inside the saiyan. What would Chire or Collard do here? What would his mother do here?
Rubbing his eyes again, Capper squinted once more, glancing around with a trace of worry. "...No, we weren't being chased. I had to kick the ship into hyperdrive to get here quickly, which burned through the fuel at an accelerated rate." Capper spoke, meek shakiness returning to his tune. "But it sure felt like something was after us." He spoke, grabbing his arm and looking to the side. "So first of all, we went to Namek to gather the dragonballs that were created there, but..." Capper spoke, gesticulating with his hands for a moment. Narrowing his eyes, the saiyan shook his head and sighed.
"...Okay, for the love of the kais above, I can't see anything..." Capper spoke to himself more than anyone. If he could just have his Scouter, a pair of glasses, or anything, he might just be able to tell why all these people sounded so familiar...! Gesturing without words for a moment, the saiyan sighed before speaking again. "It might be a bit much to ask, but do you have a, uh... Whiteboard or something? Or some glasses? This is better explained with a visual reference." Capper tilted his head to the side, now calmer and more composed since his friend was (mostly) healed, and it seemed that these people were here to help.

Tekuma's tail was waving nervously, Etoru healed and Capper finally drinking the water after calling her a clod. "Bing.. He's fine. The senzu water definitely fixed him up." Her voice was weirdly soft, the cyborg sighing and moving to stand. Spinning her hands as she tried to remember Capper's scouter from memory, she'd produce it and hand it to him from midair; an almost complete replica.
Her magic wasn't perfect but it would help restore his eyesight, just forgetting about the actual scouter function. "I think you might need to fix this thing up to make it fully work, my magic isn't perfect but it should do." Turning to see her father leaving, the cyborg would bow and sigh as he spoke. This Xylo was a massive threat. "I need to do something.. excuse me." With that, she'd turn and blast off in an aura of soft blue.

Etoru blinked, staring at Bing. The Serpent master worryingly asked him a few questions leaving Etoru to frown. He didn't wanna dive straight into it, he needed to collect his thoughts. There was too much going on at the moment for the poor kid. "W...Well....erm..." Before he had any chance to make a comment, Zucceta and Vi-Poi entered the Aurora. Etoru blinked blankly. Why the heck were they all together right now...? Did they know what was going on? It wasn't hard to imagine they sensed that...that thing's energy from here.
The queen walked over to Capper and offered her two cents. Etoru gave a stubborn pout. "Weren't you the one who said that revenge leads to a path of hatred..." He grumbled with a tad bit of salt to his tone. Although, it seems Capper decided to take that senzu the strange android girl gave him. That was a relief. The Premier came over towards Etoru and looked down at the boy, questioning both---their arrival and the situation that occurred.
Etoru was about to explain, but it seems Capper already had it handled! Well, for the most part anyways. With 'why the ship crashed reasoning' out of the way, and why they were even on Namek in the first place explained, Etoru thought he might as well cut to the chase and explain. If they still wanted visual representation, Capper could probably cover it. "Yeah, well...what Capper said...when we got to Namek, the sky's were dark and thundery, kind of like when Earth's dragon balls were summoned..." Etoru frowned. "We probably would of just left, if it wasn't for the fact that the place we landed in had a battle going on in the middle of a village."
The boy took a breath as he tried to recall the important events. He was known to be a motor mouth. "I saw Mayze fighting some weird green guy named Xylo or whatever. He had some demon partner who was kind of scary looking. But, it was strange...Xylo was just as strong as a normal Super Saiyan....but it was like he had power stored up or something! He killed two people, and nearly Mayze. The attack was stronger than two Super Saiyan twos! And he didnt even charge it!"
"Besides that, he also had a weird aura that appeared when we clashed. His power was multiplied somehow. And the part that really bugs me? I don't know what it was, but he had some weird...egg thing. Like a giant, purple rock. Every time someone attacked someone else, it got stronger...." Etoru groaned and face palmed himself. "I feel like such an idiot...I dont know why I didn't figure it out before!" He frowned, annoyed. "When it got enough power, it opened up and...well, some demon prince who calls himself Ouroboro's appeared...his power was what you guys felt back here. They killed Mayze, and were going to kill me but instead let me go...come to think of it, I remember Xylo boarding the ship and....talking to you Capper...?"

"We'll be fine, Gan," Zucceta replied curtly to Bing's request to help.
Her words seemed to have the desired affect on little Hofferson, although whether it was her 'encouragement' or a private train of thought that caused the short little Saiya-jin to drink the sensu-juice was debatable. Regardless, she found herself smiling. "Good. Better, anyway."
She glanced at Etoru, a mixture of annoyance and pity in her gaze toward the broken boy, and mouthed "shut up not right now brat." She knew how to pep-talk an entire empire of Saiyans into following her into a futile battle on Earth; she could at least use a similar rhetoric to stop this one from giving up on life.
Listening to Capper and Etoru's narrative, a vortex swirled in Zucceta's mind. She'd felt the power in the distance, like a headache not quite surfaced, but she hadn't realised it was one single energy signature.
And Mayze was dead. The saiyan general had served Zucceta well, and his loss weighed on the queen like tinnitus after noise. Another face just gone from the world, a drop in time's ocean.
"I'm going to beat the shit out of that egg," the queen snarled.

Vi-Poi quietly listened to Capper and Etoru, his mind turning like hypersonic clockwork.
Two Super Saiyan Twos. Me and you can’t beat that, Poi’s ghost murmured between his ears.
Reaching out towards Namek now, he felt nothing. His long-range scan wasn’t near as accurate at interstellar distances, and if his ghost felt anything, he wasn’t saying. If what Etoru was saying was true, Poi’s ghost was right. He couldn’t beat two Super Saiyan Level Twos. Not reliably. Maybe with Overdrive, with a Mega Nega Bomb the size of a small moon. But the one time he’d tried to summon up negative chi, he hadn’t been able to. Something had happened to him when he hit Zucceta with the positively-flipped ghost-charged Bomb over the skies of North Capitol. And whatever that something was, his oldest and strongest trick was gone.
“I’m going to get the ball rolling on reconstituting a Blue Banner Army that can fight a war again,” He gave Zucceta a meaningful look. “On or off-world. We’ll take these losers down together.” He turned to the rest. “Stay as long as you need.” With that, he made his leave.

The Serpent Master watched his boy worriedly; it seemed Etoru was finding it hard to get out the right words. He imagined it must have been an awful situation to be in; losing both limbs in such a serious battle, and being forced to retreat. If only he could have taken this pain from his son. A part of him wondered if they could collect the Dragon Balls to wish back his little boy's limbs, but would that be the right use for them? With Zucceta still waiting to bring back her own child, could Bing really make that choice? Even if he wanted to, Namek was under the control of a dark and terrible group, and he hadn't the faintest idea if Maeve could make a new set of the orbs here on Earth. She seemed to be getting close, but there was no guarantee anything would work.
Bing's attention turned to Capper once more as the little pilot began to speak. He tried his best to explain, but before he could, he was tripped up by an infuriating lack of vision. Apparently that visor he always wore were used to help him see. Such a curious invention. Did Capper make it himself? Bing blasted the ground with a beam of bright magic, creating a set of glasses, as well as a small block of blue chalk. The glasses weren't perfect, but it was better than nothing. He offered both of his magic-made items to Capper.
"Sorry. They're not prescription, but they should help."
He turned back to Etoru, who'd began explaining the other side of this terrible battle Cipher had warned them of. This Xylo fellow had some secret technique that allowed him to boost his power to obscene levels, or at least that's what Bing could glean. Etoru continued speaking, revealing the source of the energy Cipher had sensed. Apparently, the Demon that'd brought Namek to its knees was known as Ouroboros, and he had come from an egg of all things.
Then the big news hit. Mayze was dead. Bing's heart sank. He never had a friendship with the tail-free Saiyan, but he most certainly didn't hate him enough to want him dead. He was a good man under all the bravado and anger, Bing was sure of it. Zucceta seemed to be taking the news much worse. It'd been a while since Bing had seen her this angry. Hopefully this didn't lead to a return of the warmongering, hateful Lady Death.
Not wanting to dwell on bad news, Bing pressed for more answers. "Etoru. These strange techniques Xylo used... Did they do anything to him after? Was he hurt, or low on stamina? The Kikoho can use up some of your own life force to boost your natural Ki for a brief time; maybe he developed something similar."
