[Thread PL: 164,000] [FSSJ activated then powered down combined with UT: Bulking - Pl Briefly: 1,148,000 offensively and 492,000 defensively] The steel door adverted to part from its position once again with a stern hiss, angry, grinding gears soon saw the doorway revealed to betray the presence of Levlidian. It had truly been quite a while since he'd set floor within the room to which he owed a debt, had it been a soul bound creature at all, his greatest advances had been found here within the very sphere he rested inside as it stood. The room rang out with the sing song echoes of his heavy, black boots that lead his trajectory, upon courting the panels of it's computer with his open palms; Levlidian began to enter precisely the settings he required. The steady tapping of his fingers joined the silence in a wondrous dance leading the digital code to precisely what he desired at that very moment. From his furrowed, concentrating from to the dedication in his eyes, it was obvious the beast had gained another premise to his position. "They're catching me," he muttered irritably as the young Saiyan reflected back upon his spars, Tulip, Tomoyo, he'd grown soft and granted them another essence of himself. Sadness had swelled in his heart, defeated the Pride within and replaced the harnessed with a warm sensation of belonging, pressing his finger into the last key to which he owed his autonomous training partner; thus the machines resurrected. All about the sphere drew a deep, loathing hum of acceptance to his orders and thus the air about him began to thicken. With his jaw drawn taught and his body becoming steadily heavier, it was becoming apparent that the intentions had returned, he was going to become a legendary golden warrior one way or the other. As the weight increased further, a horse stance was coursed into the very fibre of his being summoning his arms into a ninety degree angle at his side. This weight was unfathomable, painful, it was as though the realms themselves sought destroy him for daring to push his body so very far. "Come on," came the utterance, Lev's brow sank in defiance as a familiar hum coiled around him like a serpent venting a lashing of crimson ki about the beast. With a parting of the lips about his complexion, from within his guttural chasm drew that of a monks chant-like roar, it was low at first and then began to fluster into a louder cry of rage. The depths of Levlidian's Saiyan soul cried out to be released and its owner obliged whole heartily. it started off as a soft, whimpering hum but blossomed further into a viral, angered roar as the molecules about his strong, bare shoulders drew taught. "This feeling," he thought as the rage and fury swelled within his chest, a crack of blood like thunder struck the sheets of steel all about him, "It may have invaded my morals, my mind-," the roar gave birth to his tell tale inferno and the incoming vortex began to cause the structure to creak and groan beneath his kinetic muscles; "-But it's going to take more than that, more than will to entirely blot out the will of my blood,my heritage-," raising both arms skyward like a pair of levers he'd harness his entirety into this very moment. This was it, the mark of his path and the note he could never evade nor turn back from, thrusting both arms down and giving that lust a final shove he cried, "-My Pride!". The following burst of power vented like a force of nature, crimson ki turned golden and his form betrayed vein like creations. Pulsating denizens and carriers of his true power, these monsters riding the man to which they served; for at this moment Levlidian's hair retained its chocolate colour yet stood erect as it might should he manage to push any further. His roar was deafening, it was a final memento of the depression that had 'kept him sternly placed beneath its heel for so long. The Vortex itself, it began to compact as the cry of anger drew to a natural conclusion and finally, he stood prepared for combat. This, this wasn't enough, Levlidian was aware of what he was about to do as any automated machine might and begin preparing the same routine, just as he would always perceive as the optimal version of preparation. No, something new had to come of this and with that he enclosed the gap between he and the wall, his frown enclosing a notion of utter control. Still, it didn't stop his power fluttering clear releasing his physical from a binding contract only he could summarise with himself. What was this? The need to train vanished as did the power before it, soon Lev' found himself at that panel, exiting the program and allowing the deadly hum of his machines to fade into the blackness of their safety mode. Slowly, the beast began his stride free of the chamber and down a long, metallic hall in which he could hear his own stride echoing. "Performance problems," he muttered and betrayed a bitter grin; "Great," seeking the end of said hall he'd locate a panel decorated with an aversion to anything different. Entering the code to which would free his form to the shine of the sun, a mechanical cry swelled from the ridges of the constructed ship and down drew its maw; bathing in the forests song and dance. The birds were alive with amusement and cheer. However, before the youthful denizen of Earth rested an abandoned home, he'd returned to where it all began awaiting the arrival of one he'd requested avert to his location. Carefully, his boots would guide the length of his limbs to the ridge of the thin stair line then on he'd wander to the rear of the house. It felt both good and insufferable to be back, peering to the shattered trees and then to the brittle, decaying corpses of those he'd defeated; a cold shiver rolled about his spine. It had been months but already the forest sought to claim her home, Lily's abode where he had found his humanity, as he drew round the fence and passed the wooden box once used for compost; he came face to face with a mound and on top bloomed a squadron of small, white flowers. with a small smile he'd fend the deep frown and slowly take a knee before the head of his friend's grave, each hand coated in his usual finger missing gloves rest to the mound; "Hey, long time no see," he muttered calmly, Lev's brow sank and his smile faded. "I'm having a real tough time up here, y'know," he continued and peered off to the forest, "Give me the strength to do this Lily," not much more was uttered as a swift breeze coiled to capture his long fringe parting it from his scarred visage and Levlidian waited. I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY Meet me in the South. I’ll show you. Those words the kagami hadn’t forgotten. She hadn’t made them overly important to her, but she would follow up on them. A game between a devil and a demon. To which she challenged none other than the devil named Levlidian to show her that he wasn’t who she expected. That the saiyan blood hadn’t tainted him. Durian held no expectations for him. She was sure he would try to show her, that he might try to explain how he was different. How saiyan blood didn’t make him evil or apathetic or ruthless. But that had failed too many times before. Word and action failed him time after time. And everything she saw in him just spoke saiyan. It further convinced her that their race had to be eradicated. But... how was she to do that now? That saiyan... Kazar. He had returned to life even after dying. Durian had thought it no more than a myth. Emer had spoken of being dead once. That he had died and returned stronger. Was that really true? For anything? Even these saiyans? Her heart felt heavy. What she had been working hard and long for, and wasn’t even done working for, was all that more out of reach. Saiyans would inherit the Earth. The planets. Everywhere. And she would be able to do nothing to stop it. Not even hell wanted saiyans to stay there. It wasn’t hard to locate Levlidian. She had felt him some time after her meeting with... Raisu? Her small job had been completed more or less. Moreso, she had gone there and freed no one. It had taken a small while to get her senses back. Her ki manipulation and senses had been oddly shifted, like she had forgotten how to handle herself. But in a short time she had gotten herself back together and once again could sense the world around her. Levlidian’s familiar energy would climb to the top of her list. She was in the south as he had asked, now she had to locate him and get to him. A bit north of where she had been on the beach, she would start her journey. Unable to fly, things tended to take a little longer. But this was how the kagami had always traveled and it didn’t bother her... much. There was a bit of jealousy when one saw a person shooting across the sky with easy and quickness. But in this journey across the south, across the desert, and up the mountain, she would meet another. A Namekian. He offered things she hadn’t thought about. Organization and strength. Or so that was how it seemed. For now, her goal was Levlidian. Other things could be put on pause until this short mission was over. Her sense would spark at the sensing of his power skyrocketing. The female tensing up as she climbed her way through forest and trail to get to where the saiyan was. His power was great, even greater than she had grown used to. He must once again be trying to access that further power. That super saiyan that Kazar had taunted him with. Sighing with aggravation, the female trudged on. The Kagami had her outfit replaced, much to the help and thanks of Raisu, even if she was none too proud to admit it. It allowed her to be clad in black once again. Mostly head to toe besides the blouse. It allowed her to be somewhat unnoticed among the shadows of the mountain, minus the sun that would make her hair dance with rainbow colors. She was nearing her goal. The power had lessened and she sensed the Levlidian she had grown to become used to. Her eyes met his ship, the one that was often parked outside Hinawa’s mansion. But... the man was no longer inside? Or had he ever been? Her mind reaching out to ask where he was, she knew he was close but wanted to warn him before she got a ki blast to the face for catching him off guard. Levlidian. Did you want to meet me here? Just after her question, she’d smell and see the decaying bodies. Dead among the ground. A chill ran through the kagami as well, but much less from memory and more so from terror. Levlidian had brought her to a graveyard. Was she next? Following his ki, the woman could only move forward. That’s all one little prodding figure could tell her to do. Forward. Up stairs that were slowly being encased by vine, around a house that looked like it hadn’t been lived in for a year, Durian wondered why here of all places. And as she’d round the house, she would see the saiyan. She wasn’t particularly near, he was on another side of a fence, but she could see him. It didn’t take a genius to figure out it was a grave he was kneeling over. The kagami didn’t venture any farther. She couldn’t say she had known that saiyans would feel sadness at death, even for their own. She had always seen it replaced by anger. Fury that took them into a fit of rage and usually brought death and destruction. It was as much a learning experience as it was respect. The kagami didn’t enter his mind further, not with him over a grave. She watched. And she waited. The breeze that effected him would carry to her, a more spiritual person may have thought that it was someone speaking to them. Her goddess... was prodding her. But it was weak. If Durian had even thought to pay attention, she wouldn’t have known what the thing wanted. Maybe it was to continue and see the saiyan. Maybe it was to speak to him. Either way, that was pushed down. Durian felt no need to call out to Levlidian, not yet. The woman could wait a few moments for the dead to settle and for Levlidian to show her his true colors. The air swelled around the beast courting his mane as though finger tips guided it to convey an innocence about his face, it showed his age for once the youth in the sadness that even seemed to reflect in the whiteness of his dead eye. The fingers about the soil curled and his jaw drew taught but the words wouldn't come., all that came were flares of the fight; the way he'd boasted at the thugs he'd wronged. The way they cut her down before him unleashing a temper he'd only felt once more in the time he'd been on Earth; "I made friends," he said and a saddened smile curled. Silence followed, the blades of grass at his knee coated the limb and snaked with warranted need. It was as though something swept to speak unto him in the wake of his sadness but finally, his voice continued. "Hinawa tried though, she tried to continue what you showed me. She's vanished who knows where but I know she'll return eventually. I actually met her shortly after-," he paused and glanced to his own shoulder, he didn't want to look. Those bodies carried a shame for him and still that single obsidian eye sought the ground again. "I met some annoying brat too-," he laughed, "-reminds me so much of myself, as a kid; oddly he's trying to do the opposite that I'm doing. He's a good lad though, good heart," a slow nob accompanied this elaboration and with that he'd snort; dragging his wrist about his good eye irritably. "-Then there's another, she hurts I know that but it's like I'm looking into my future. So full of hatred, angry all the time, i don't want that and I know you saw me walking that way. I actually understand a lot fo what you said whilst I was here. It's too late but, thank you for that," adjusting his jaw, the beast adverted his hand from the soil and rubbed it about his thigh awkwardly. "I'm also sorry it took so long to come back, I've been really busy trying to gain some strength. I can't achieve what you wanted without it, the only way I keep the animal at bay is by fighting every now and again. I hate it, I hate that I need it but I do enjoy the fights. You can learn so much from someone by doing it. Though it shouldn't feel like a drug," he hummed a moment and gazed off to the opposite side of the grave, "But she's right," "I am just another Saiyan, I hurt people, I act like an ass hat, I throw my pride around and sing songs of how being a Saiyan is really about Honour and respect. Is it though?" his brow sank, "I wish we could still talk, I miss that, I actually miss that god awful tea as well," a laugh escapes, decorated with an odd hue of bitterness and happiness. "The fuck wa sin that anyway Lily? Leaves?". His wrist guided back to the ridge beneath his socket; "I hate myself for not being better at this, I'm not cut out to be a Villain, not cut out to be a Hero and not cut out to be a monster," his hand descend to connect with the ridges of his thighs and he'd hang his head, "then what am i supposed to do Lily? If I kill the SSE, they'll just come back, if I destroy the Saiyan's they'll just rise again. I'm already terrified my Father will come for me; drag me back home and they'll force me to work as a soldier again," "I feel like I'm on the wrong side of everything, but I have a plan," Levlidian' form erected and his palms sat solid as he'd lean on his knees, "This was where I became better, here I'll convince the doubts and show my story. Maybe if I can convince someone they'll stop telling me I'm destined to be evil. Fuck destiny, Lily, I want to be me. Not a hero, not a Villain just me like you said I could. I have a good heart, a stubborn mind and more pride than you can shake a stick at; but I am definitely not one of those Evil Saiyan's," he'd rise and gaze to the grave, placing a kiss to his fingertips and almost wavering it to the flowers he'd about face to stride past where Durian was hiding seemingly lost in his own mind. The stride carried him past the front door and down to the middle of the path where he simply folded his arms and awaited Durian. The sadness faded and again came the mask, the bravado in shape of a broad grin and a puffed chest beneath a weft of flesh and dark cloth. The beast had no idea he'd been viewed, then again he was fairly sure; arrogantly so that he'd feel her coming before the scene would unfold. Honestly, he had no plan, turning his head left and right to observe the forests to be granted a notion of her direction, he'd wait until dark then try again tomorrow, training could wait until he was sure he'd remain alone and with the spherical ship in plain sight; the beast was sure Durian would see it. I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY Durian watched on. The saiyan figure over the grave with white flowers. He looked so... weak and vulnerable. Durian knew that physically to not be the case, he could still squash her like a bug with merely thinking about it. But... mentally, the saiyan was not right. Silence had surrounded them. Onlooker and mourner alike. Lev couldn’t speak and Durian was waiting. Time with the dead was... special. It would serve her no good purpose to interrupt him. And after the moments of silence and tension, words would break the wind. I made friends. It was such a sad sound. Not that he didn’t appreciate those he called friends but like he was crying to the soul who’s body laid buried beneath him. Hinawa was mentioned. The one buried having shown him something. He just talked. Talked to the whoever was beneath the soil and soul had moved on. He spoke about life and how he was dealing with it, those he had met and who they were. A pinprick of arrogance would spark the kagami. Was he talking about her? Hateful and angry all the time? That was very possible. She was full of hatred. Inhaling through her nose and letting that deep breath out slowly, she supposed it was a great change from who she had been. But... it had been what she needed to go on with killing the saiyan race. Which... might not even matter anymore? The grave only reminded her of Kazar. That he had risen from the dead and was back. And here was Levlidian... Shuddering over it. The kagami didn’t know how to take this. Never had she seen a saiyan so torn up with grief. Not pure grief. Grief with anger, sure. Many times. But not opening their souls up to someone they had cared about. Even admitting what Durian had shoved into his face over and over. His natural inclination towards the savage ways of his race. She was right, she knew she had been. But this way of getting confirmation made her feel sick. Like an ooze had coated her for merely finding any pleasure in what someone was saying as they kneeled over a grave. He was then asking what to do. Sharing his fears with this Lily figure. His father? Drag him back? What... had happened to Levlidian? This plan though, Durian was interested to hear. And low and behold it included her. But what near stopped the kagami’s heart was his words on destiny. Not long ago, her and Marcel had talked about destiny. It had been their last conversation before he vanished into thin air again. Is that what she made Levlidian out to be when she reminded him that his saiyan blood would lead him astray? Guilt and anger made her turn her head and gaze alike away from the sad scene before her. No. That wasn’t what she meant. He merely had the capability to be like these saiyans. But he wouldn’t overcome it. None of them would. Damn. She was preaching destiny. The muscled man wouldn’t be granted passage to where he wished to go. He left the grave and rounded the gate, moving right past the kagami who had been watching. Or at least, he tried to move past her. The female reached out with one hand and would grasp for his upper arm. An attempt to halt him and show she was there in one. She wouldn’t speak at first, give him a moment to adjust in knowing that it was her presence there. That she had been there and had ahold of him. Durian didn’t look to him though, the grey eyes of the female would have turned back to the grave he had been at. “Destiny is a weak and foolish concept. That some cosmic energy wrote out who we are and will be. That our past pains were for its amusement, and our future is already written no matter what we do. It allows weak minded individuals to blame something else besides themselves for shortcomings or failures.” Pausing, if she had indeed caught his arm she’d squeeze it. Holding onto him tightly for a mere moment before letting her arm drop away from him and releasing him from her grasp. “Or so I had said before and believed it. If I’m wrong, what’s the point in us even living or trying?” It was an odd little speech. Like she was admitting without admitting that she had been holding Lev to a version of destiny, while she herself hadn’t believed in it. But now... doubt clouded her mind. The goal she had so desperately gone after was falling apart. Her destiny had near consumed her when saiyans showed up to take her back to Vegeta. If destiny was real; this cruel twisted and locked in fate, then she may as well ask for this saiyan to escort her back to Vegeta. “Who was she?” Durian turned her gaze upon the man. There was curiosity in her gaze, but also a twinge of concern or possibly care. Losing someone was painful and the kagami knew that well. Levlidian... had shown pain. Simple pain when he stood over that grave. And it hadn’t been disturbed by hate and anger. It was simply and purely mourning of his loved one. For now, Durian would ask in a similar tone. The question of who Lev’s love had been was asked in a way of caring and gentleness. Not to woo him, but to soothe if only for a moment the hatred and tension between the two of them. It was in that moment his heart leaped to his mouth as a slender hand fed around his bicep, grasping him, his singular eye widened and he adverted suddenly to spy Durian, Turning his head to look to the position she stood drinking in the placement and then on to the grave. She'd seen and probably heard it all, a prideful frown appeared and he lowered his head. The way she spoke was different, it courted a furrowed brow in which spawned the confusion he'd carried rarely, why was she being so nice all of a sudden he contemplated; however it was hard for him to speak any full answers. Durian had caught the man off guard, his emotions sat above the sleeve of his wrist and he diverted himself by turning as best he could from her.
"You weren't supposed to see that," he muttered defiantly, however it was a weak vent and his voice drew from his lips aboard a softer tone. This ache, it was usually buried before anyone placed eyes upon him but the pain rode him today, this was difficult and a lump forged in his throat. The Saiyan felt as though he was ten years younger and his jaw drew taught. "No one is supposed to see this," he added with a strain in his vocalisation, the wind captured the leaves and swept his mane about the length of his brow hindering the view of his eye. "Destiny has to be false, there isn't a God alive who'd have let this happen to her, or you, i can't believe there was a plan involved," the words were false and his tightening jaw betrayed a savage crack.
"It has to be wrong because there has to be something in the wills of others, I don't know why I live but i do anyway. My friends want me to carry on, if not for them then for me; I refuse to be as you see most of my people. I might do bad things, I might makes bad choices but that doesn't mean I don't intend to do good overall. Life isn't simple, no, there is no black and white for me but I'd rather be grey than dictated to by the universe,". these words made little sense to him, lo'and behold they probably made no sense to his observer. It had to be all a mirage, a corrupted sense of being because then what happened to Lily would happen to more people and all because of Levlidian.
Durian's grasp softened, her voice courting his ears and the beast faltered, swallowing and investing his attention into the question; his hands balled into angry fists and the joints of his digits cracked as he fought himself. "She-," he began and his lips diverted further downward whilst his mane obscured the upper selection of his complexion. Finally, the quivering halted and each finger uncoiled as though a selection of serpents. Levlidian averted to look at Durian and closed his eyes though his dead orb remained open a slit and he said joyfully so; "She was my first friend," his grin widened proudly and the welling of a pearl formulated in his good eye. It swelled until the ridge of his under eye could hold it no longer, down it rolled and carved out the frame of his cheek.
"She died, because of me," he continued but the blossomed, proud grin vanished, "M-," he paused and collected himself via a shake of his head, raising his wrist to press into the socket of the obsidian orb. "My pride, my stupid Saiyan pride angered the wrong people. They came for me and took her, when I arrogantly refused them-," he paused and peered back to the corpses. Rotten bits of meat sentenced to remain in pieces, anger didn't come, rage didn't rise, all he could do was stare in silence. "They took her from me, I exploded and killed them all. I felt no pride in it though, what pride was there to have? She was so kind, taking me in after I defeated my brother and stopped him taking me home; so I do this to her,"
"Tell me, Durian," he turned to look at her again, "If you're so sure I have nothing here-," he placed a hand over his chest, "-Then tell me, why does it hurt so much? I want to understand why I'm supposed to be evil; why can't anyone see the good in me like she did? Was she a fool who believed too much in the good in everyone? Or did she see something we didn't?". the tone changed as he spoke, from a strong assertive tone it bled into a pleading one, each of his hands grasping at her waistcoat and holding meekly; "Please, tell me because I can't take not being able to ask anymore. I want to know, am i supposed to be what you say I am, because I don't want to be, even if people can come back I don't want to be a soldier anymore; just free like Lily said I could be,". His eye widened as he drank in those words Durian had used before.
"No, No I refuse to think that there is no point. Even if we can't get rid of them forever we can change the world around them. The fight might not end but we might still manage to achieve 'something', everything can't be pointless,". the realisation of what he was doing came knocking, he was spilling as though a jug filled to the brim and such must act as a deterrent. "I'm sorry," he muttered and an aura of flame coaxed its way over him, cocooning him emotionally within it. "You caught me at a- a weak moment,"

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY She surprised him. Durian knew he must have been unaware of her presence and she was glad he didn’t turn and knock her straight through the wall of the house. He allowed her to speak, her looking over the grave as to not make eye contact with him. She didn’t really want to admit to anything. The kagami didn’t want to feel guilt over how she had been pressing fate and destiny into him. They were both turning from the other. Not back to back, but just avoiding. She looked at the grave and focused upon it with all her might. In time, Levlidian would speak. You weren’t supposed to see that She hadn’t known. Durian had come here to meet him and found him around back at a grave. The female hadn’t wanted to interrupt. While he was a saiyan, she had seen that sadness... It halted her and she had heard everything. Some of it was muffled, harder to hear, but she had heard what the saiyan had to say. It was all still confusing. There were things inside Levlidian besides competitiveness and the need to be superior. He sounded like her... Destiny has to be false. She thought that too. That cruelty would know no bounds if someone willed all of this to happen. She was surprised he had included her in with the one he was mourning over. Yet... her thoughts were more on the fact that they were both struggling with this thought of destiny. The Kagami was losing heart ever since Kazar. Her goal was basically shattered. Levlidian was proving her thoughts on destiny were twisted depending on the situation she wanted it for. He continued on and on. He was going to be different. He wasn’t a saiyan like she expected of him and he wouldn’t be dictated by the universe. Durian found herself hardening. He had always proven that he was exactly what she thought. Maybe she didn’t mean it as destiny. Maybe she saw the actual him. But... what she saw now was near heart-breaking. For Salak, it would have brought her the need to comfort. For Durian... she was still distant. There was a part of her that still wanted to reach out to him, but it was nowhere near acted upon. It would only get worse for the kagami. The sadness she heard in his voice, the hesitation, and the turmoil upon his face would build up to something she wouldn’t have thought she would ever see. He was crying. Tears moving down the strong saiyan’s face. It was an odd scene for Durian to behold. Something she had thought to be apathetic to anyone around them was crying over a friend lost. And then, he took the blame. He wasn’t hiding behind strength and vigor. He knew it was his pride and arrogance. He acknowledged parts of himself that he didn’t seem proud of. Durian couldn’t be anything other than shocked at what was happening. Sure, Kazar had shown many similar things. But he had also been beaten to within an inch of his life and was keeping Durian from striking him. Levlidian... was breaking down at full power and with no reason. Other than his heart was torn over his friend. Her mind swirling with all of these new exchanges with saiyans, she could barely register when he spoke her name again. The dull eyes of the female finally finding their way back to Levlidian and focusing upon him. He moved a hand to his chest and covered his heart, something she felt he didn’t have and he knew that. Her gaze would move back to his face. Confused, uncertain, and hesitant. She didn’t know anymore. What the hell was happening? Who was even in front of her right now? Then he grabbed her. Not harshly. Not something that she was fearful of nor something that made her nervous. Just more confused. He was reaching out to her and pleading with her. Durian had shown him nothing but scorn and hatred and here he was begging for her answers. What if she just faced him with negativity like she always had? Would he snap? Would it be true? Was she even right still? He was grasping at her and straws. That life wasn’t pointless. They didn’t have a destiny. They could be free and work towards what they wanted. Durian desperately wanted to believe that. Just as he would speak he was sorry and come back to his senses, the kagami would back away. Loosing his hold from her and putting another two steps between them. Though taller, she was more frail in appearance. The muscle saiyan vs the female kagami. She stared at him. Not with anger or hatred, but with a lot of confusion. She didn’t know what to tell him. Durian had no idea what to say to herself. Her mind was spinning. Things she wanted to believe and push her forward were crumbling down. Taking in a slow breath, she’d exhale just as slow, dropping her eyes to the ground and running a shaky hand through her hair. When she’d look back up, she’d snap her eyes onto his form. She still looked shaken in general, but there was a hint of determination. “I ask for proof of your words. I can offer you my past if you offer me yours. Let me see into who you were before we met, let me see that this isn’t some saiyan mind trick. And I’ll tell you whether I think your friend was foolish or wise to say there was good in you.” While she tried to speak confidently, if Levlidian paid attention and knew her at all he would recognize the uncertainty and hesitance in her voice. The kagami loosed her gloves from her hands and took them into her left. Her right hand raising, she’d pull the mask down her facial features. She’d expose her nose and mouth, chin and some of her neck, letting the fabric hand loosely around her neck similar to a scarf. The thumb she brought to her mouth, biting hard into it and drawing blood. It pooled red for a moment, that small drop. But as the kagami focused and waited, it would swirl black with color. Being filled with memories of days past. This would be her life if he decided to take it. “The Kagami can share their lives with others through blood. If you taste it, you can see me. And... I think I can delve into your mind to see you. I might need to touch you... It would help.” This was her offer. Otherwise... she really didn’t know. Levlidian couldn’t be a saiyan and break down like this... He had to be the darkness that she craved to kill. But those tears... The sadness she had walked in on. Could it all be fake? She took those steps back forward. Slowly, she watched him cautiously for a sign of what he might tell her to do. Her left hand gently placed her gloves into her pocket, then would reach out towards the man as if she might take her cupped hand and place it against the side of his face. If she caught any sign of anger, she would immediately halt her forward momentum in all shapes and forms and move back two steps again. "Me for you and you for me?" This was a change in pace, the young Saiyan peered after the motion she up kept and his brow sank, did he want to know her past? He couldn't deny it intrigued him and yet was he really willing to allow her to see what shaped him till now? Enticing a single step back, he paused and the beasts single eye descended to view her hand upon his chest, what was this? Impending detriments of her physical actions saw him part his maw to speak, nothing came and the winds of the forest swept up again in the foreboding silence between each creature. Hesitantly, Levlidian reached to take her hand which was bitten and drew it closer to him if allowed, still he watched the limb and tilted his head willingly into her cupped paw. She'd seen the truth of him in any case and there was no harm in adding a little bit of context.
A scarred cheek settled about Durian's palm and the beast closed his eyes to draw back on his memories, desolate things, slowly the darkness encompassed him and the young Saiyan stepped for the flames that burned at his center. It was merely storage, a safe way to willingly invoke the power of his emotions and control his Ki. However, today he'd look up to a visualisation of the Kagami. No words could be shared, he wasn't sure if she was even actually there but still; he offered her the flame. In the serpentine flames dancing as they would, there reflected a few snipets of the time he'd spent in this universe. Their limbs coiled and sought the outstretched hand of Durian and within a single flare of utter, crimson enticement she was flooded with depictions.
The barren wastes of Vegeta lay before her and at the center sat a small boy, he sat staring angrily at his hands whilst an older man rested on his feet before him. "Pain is weakness leaving the body, Levlidian," quoted his Father. Stern, hateful eyes bore down on his own son who slowly picked himself up, barely beyond an age similar to eight or nine, he already bore the eye scar and several fresh wounds. "Again," muttered the old man and Levlidian tensed up. Down came the mans fist burrowing into Levlidian's abdomen who gritted his teeth and his heels drew back an inch. "Good, let the strength flow through you and back into the ground; you're a stalwart shield," Another, sincere boom filled the wastes and again the youthful boy slid backwards. Tears rolled down the boys face and pain began to show through, bruises, lashes and the response his Father granted was one of disgust; "How dare you call yourself a Saiyan, never cry, never betray your emotions Levlidian. We are Warriors," and a wail pierced the scene as another strike came for the boy's visage.
With a slither of flame she saw the boy again striking the stone mountain walls, two males descended on the fearful Saiyan who dipped and rolled, again the younge rof the attackers, a man who looked as Lev' and his Father did though lacking the wounds and boasting Elite Armour struck his younger brother with no remorse sending the boy of thirteen sliding through the plumes of debris. "Get up," spat Ca'Drual and their Father loomed behind him. The youngest did as he was commanded and he stood, staggering in part and settling a hand about a boulder to steady himself. "You'll replace your Mother as a Super Saiyan, our only Super Saiyan, if you take from this family you must pay the debt,". Levlidian's father seemed more so bitter and sporting a piercing, venomous glare that took Lev' by surprise, only for the older brother to strike his chest with a violent crack filling the air and a terrified scream.
Again the flames would snake about the air to reveal a much older Levlidian, his arm snaked about his Father's throat and tears of rage in his eyes. He bore no shirt and his scarred form was on show if as bulky as a bears. The squeeze tightened and he twisted to reveal a fresh wound, the wound boasted the name of the SSE. "You're..you're a disgrace, killing your own parents. I knew..I knew you weren't to be trusted from the day you were born," gagged the older man. Levlidian's frown vanished, his complexion fell blank and in that moment; there was nothing. Something seemed to shrivel up and die at that very moment, then came the snap and the Father figure fell lifeless at his sons release. "No Father, -now- I'm a disgrace," sneered the teenage Levlidian who then turned about his heel to stride free of the twitching remnants of his Father.
Various flares tore through the vision betraying various apparitions of Levlidian's time in space, fighting with glee, dancing around weaker enemies and killing them with ease. The man looked like a monster, a depraved lunatic and the morbid dance forever went on. The bodies piled up, and then a depiction of the young Saiyan viewing Earth from his pod came to pass; this was where it all changed.
On the outside Levlidian shook and balled his fist as he was forced to relive his worst moments, still he focused entirely on the depictions he'd show Durian. She was in some form of compound, her acquaintance stood at its center with his boot settled to the throat of a man boasting the attire of a biker, short leather jacket, black shirt and baggy pants. A pair of obsidian orbs pierced the veil of the mans bravado, with a twist of his heel the end came swiftly for him and the beast averted to peer after the men and women in chains. Through the large doors sat cages, people resided her and upon tossing one such soul a key, the Saiyan ventured free of the scene. Flames danced about the shattered warehouse, bodies lay scattered in craters and amongst their own morbid wine.
The next dance of the flame brought a monstrous boom as Ca'Drual clashed, on Earth and not far from where they were now the two Saiyans crashed again and again. It seemed evenly matched, however the shackles tied to the belt of Ca'Drual gave enough of a hint, "You have no choice brother," muttered a voice. Levlidian's jaw drew taught and with a scream of defiance his aura ignited filling the forest about them with destruction. Concaving the stone beneath his boots, the younger man tore through the sky for his brother and their fists collided once again.
The next vision, it was difficult to piece together as Levlidian's body began to react, his focus wavered; but he awoke in a bed within a familiar looking cottage. There she was, a young woman with long blonde hair, she seemed like a typical sort of woman. Dressed in a simple and yet beautiful dress whilst offering the stubborn Saiyan some tea. Again, his bastion shivered whilst Durian was shown their converse and how stand offish Lev' had been, yet she was happily chatting away apparently happy to have the company, slowly, she got him to open up and soon they conversed together. However, a darker hue descended as Levlidian struck a familiar sort fo person, the fiends who he'd thwarted had returned but he had little trouble with them. Until he turned, there was Lily in the arms of one such man, a blade to her throat. A strange look entered the eyes of the beast and he cried out only for them to swiftly craft her neck. Red filled the eyes of the Kagami and Levlidian grasped at her, the men were slain but it seemed Levlidian hardly remembered; but he seemed to be sobbing grasping at her shoulders and embracing tightly but Lily was completely inanimate. Finally he stood and acted upon the cliché of roaring to the heavens.
The mourning Saiyan couldn't seem to remain still as more tears swept down the cheek of the real Levlidian but he pushed on, There he stood within the vision, upon a mountain side and his two obsidian eyes were filled with tears as he stared to his brothers grave. Flashes of their fight over wrote the scene moment after moment, until the crying man was replaced by a stern face as he watched the older brother fending to stand. "I'll never stop trying to take you home," he growled but he was barely alive. Blood trailed the stones, swept about the boots of the younger brother. Still, he cradled his older brother who lessened his complexion, "She'd be proud of you," he muttered, life ebbed out of his eyes; however Lev' was aware he spoke of their mother, he thought back to Lily and yet again the scene of grasping his sibling and sobbing into the still chest, came about.
Those that followed were brief scenes, flashes of he and Hinawa training and the enjoyment, the changes in his person as he conversed with Tomoyo in the desert ruffling his hair and smiling to the young child. His inssitance he'd never let his blood guide him, how Hinawa had helped and trained him to be better; to control himself and how she and he would laugh. The air soared through the fast approaching Saiyan's mane as a blade of flame altered the scene to reveal his tackling an odd, ogre creature clear of a Demonic monster, however, he seemed to pause whilst fighting the animal and Marcel's complexion appeared over his shoulder. he appeared fearful and screamed something whilst his discharged attack hit Lev' by mistake. Before this opponent appeared an Arcorsian who unleashed an attack that swept Levlidian up in it almost killing him. However, as the fall carried our Sayian to the dirt something ignited and the familiar gold aura tore into view yet his mane remained a chocolate brown, fury raged and Lev' tore after said Arcorsian in defense of the humans beneath them.
Finally, Lev' tugged free of her hand as she dipped into a very personal thought, an overwhelming sadness, poisonous thoughts of destroying the SSe whilst he lay within his bed; the remorse. However, he tilted his head away from the Kagami's paw and peered to her hand. For a few moments he remained silent allowing it to be processed, eventually he spoke; "Some context," he said simply before holding her hand before him and moved to claim the blood as she'd hinted by simply wrapping his maw about the wound.

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY He stepped back. The female would hesitate as well. Durian didn’t wish to push the saiyan, partially out of fear for herself. It could all be a trick and here she was testing it. She was possibly seeing through his shroud of trickery. And even though she offered the hand with blood, Durian would still tense when he would take her hand. Warm skin... That had been a while, she couldn’t deny. It didn’t relax her right away, but with no sign of aggression from Lev she’d draw closer to him once again. Her opposite hand cupping his face with a gentleness she had practiced so long ago. Taking in a deep breath, the woman would closer her eyes and drop her head slightly as she’d exhale. Focus... try to focus upon the beast before her. The warm skin of his face, a rough patch beneath her hand, she focused upon their touch. His mind beneath it. His thoughts. And into his mind. He was revealing himself to her. Slowly but surely. Durian would learn that Lev’s mourning was not a trick. Engulfed in flame, she would begin to see the beast formed. A planet she knew well lay before her. Vegeta. Scene after scene would play before Durian’s eyes. A small child being wrecked by his father. One who mirrored Lev’s appearance would also try and destroy the young one. Lev killed his father. Was this saiyan like? Was this justice? Durian didn’t know. But it wasn’t the last thing that awaited her. He was the typical saiyan in his youth. Death. Destruction. Fighting. She almost pulled from him right then. Why should she need to see more? He was a disgrace. Forever and always a monster, from start to finish. But she was stopped. A confusing scene met her senses. Death but freeing people? It would be over before she made sense of it. What would keep Durian there was the blonde. What she felt from Lev was not saiyan-like. Not what she thought saiyans were meant to be. He grew here and with this woman. And he lost her. How he reacted she knew well. Rage and mourning. Severe loss. In the world away from memories, Durian’s thumb would gently move along his cheek, wiping the tears away without trying to break his concentration nor hers. He was crying and weeping in these memories. There was no faking that. The loss of his brother didn’t amount to what Durian saw with that blonde woman. She would see faces she recognized in brief flashes, but nothing held her attention. Lily... was a true point for Levlidian. A woman that could change a man. Change a saiyan. Then it was done. Lev pulled away from her. The empty hand felt cold at his absence, the woman opening her eyes and slowly raising her gaze. Thoughts were flying through her head. Even with Mitra sorting through these memories to assist the Kagami, she couldn’t place... why a saiyan would have reacted like that. Why there was remorse and sorrow. Taking her left hand back to herself, the greyed eyes of the female gathering flecks of red to them. Mitra, her goddess, was at work in her. She wouldn’t respond at Lev’s two words. He took the blood that was required to share her own past and immediately Mitra would begin transferring these to the saiyan. Vegeta. Much like Levlidian knew. A child born to Kagami but owned by a saiyan family. This child was immediately implemented into work. But what was peculiar about this child was that though it resembled Durian greatly, it was more.. gentle. Sincere, cautious, and submissive. Simple little dresses and wavy opalescent hair. What was even stranger was that in every passing moment of the memory where she would be called, this child would be referred to as Salak. Coming to a large female saiyan who called her, she would be told that she now belonged to a young boy. Azuki. One of the saiyan born children. He played with Salak at all times but also asked for what he needed. An odd sort of friend and master. From childhood to teenage years, Durian’s life wasn’t particularly hard as far as slaves are concerned. She didn’t suffer uncontrollably. She wasn’t beaten. But... she could easily see those who were. Accompanying Azuki meant meeting more saiyans and more kagami. There were so many kagami that she had met that would vanish from homes. An accident occurred. Or they were gotten rid of. They caused trouble and were put down. It wasn’t rare to see battered bodies in the street as their masters dragged them along like pack mules. Discarded children picked up like stray animals to be sold the next day. It was sad to see. Disgusting to see. But as a kagami who had fallen into her place, Salak simply obeyed and took what life gave her. A master who treated her with an ounce of care. Azuki didn’t beat her. The man took advantage, as was the nature of an owner and a slave, but he didn’t mistreat her physically. One could claim the saiyan loved her, though Salak never felt the same. Levlidian would be able to feel her emotions within these memories. Compliant mostly. The past Durian, Salak, would do as she was told, whenever she was told, and however she was told to do it. A near perfect slave. So much different than the woman that stood before him. Salak had been a lovely kagami to many who looked upon her. The hair of her people glorious as always and a prideful piece for her master. He dressed her up, showed her off. She was a female worth adoration. But adoration often brought lust. Affection or not, Azuki would take the kagami whenever he saw fit. And in time, Salak had practiced the art of pleasing his efforts. Taking part as much as he did, giving into him, and making sure to act as if she were cherishing him. Gentle touches, soothing words. A mockery for the truth, but it kept her master happy. One of these escapades would lead to a surprise. A child within the kagami. Her master met this news with joy. One of his own bloodline to teach and have! His family took to it with anger. Their child creating a mixed breed with a slave. Disgusting. Durian could remember the looks of hatred upon her. Hatred for merely doing what she was asked by her master. She had made him happy and she was still in fear. Azuki would protect her even more than he had before. Cherish his precious little slave that held his blood. One couldn’t always be by her side, however. That was the turning point in the slave’s simple life. She had accepted her fate. Her life. Her giving up to whatever Azuki wished. Until she was choked with fear and pain. Waking up in the dark of night to see her master’s brother above her. Basically sucking the life out of her as her body writhed in pain. Salak had never experienced such horror and hopefully never would again. Complete helplessness. Abandonment. Near death. Tears would stain Salak’s face as she fought ever so weakly against the war trained ape. It was much too late. The pain and the weakness would claim her and make her relinquish to the darkness. Lev could feel such emptiness. Complete fear and aloneness. It wasn’t until she would awake that the utter loss would kick in. Her child. Hers. She couldn’t protect it. Not only would it displease her master, but the kagami couldn’t protect one simple and innocent being from the grasps of those masters. Not even hers, but saiyans. And that’s when the walls would come down. That submissive and child-like Salak would fade into nothing. Durian taking her place. Locking away the sweet and small voice that always hummed in the back of her consciousness. Hatred took the place of everything. Anger and hatred. The saiyan that owned her was slain at her hands by what he had taught her. Flames of fury and repetition taking his life from him. And then Durian escaped as trash from the planet. What Vegeta viewed her kind as, disposable. And then it was Earth. Roaming the desert in fear of being taken back. Meeting Hinawa and Emer only to have them vanish from existence. Meeting Lev and having her hatred rekindled. A meeting with Marcel and him teaching her telepathy, only for him to vanish from her senses as well. Then... it was mostly Levlidian. Flashes of him pulling at her anger and confusion. And that’s when the Kagami would shut down. No more memories. No more backstory. Her senses coming back from those she relived, Durian seemed.. .mostly unphased. Her light skin was barely covered in a layer of sweat. Her breathing had turned heavier. Sharing memories proved taxing... Mentally and emotionally. The woman would pull her hand away from him, taking a step away in the same moment. Her eyes had gained back their red color. Their natural presence from when she was known as Salak, right now they weren’t buried away. Durian needed to leave. That’s what she felt. To escape. She didn’t know what her life meant anymore. There was no point. She couldn’t kill the saiyan race and keep them dead. Lev had just proved that saiyans weren’t the heartless beings she wanted to erase. Her shoulders were shuddering, even though the woman attempted her best to remain calm and put her hands into her pockets as if she didn’t have a care. There were no gloves to shield her, no mask to hide her expression. Durian was lost. As she looked over the saiyan she had fought with since they had crossed paths, she found a new idea of who he was. And it was tearing her apart. That sort of Levlidian shouldn’t exist. Help eachother. They were words in a voice that both of them would recognize. Durian from her own life, Levlidian from Durian’s memories. Mitra. The soft-spoken goddess that rested within Salak’s soul. She spoke to both Durian and Levlidian. It caused the kagami to wince. Pain from the past seeping more into her now than when she had viewed the memories. She didn’t want to remember. She didn’t want Mitra back. Durian wanted that hatred back. That drive and fuel. And the more she thought on it, she began to drive those red eyes back beneath the surface again to see the dulled grey. “Lily was an amazing woman and was no fool. She produced things that I didn’t think magic could even conquer.” Taking another step away from Levlidian, her eyes shifted to the side of the house. Trying to plan how she might get around him. “Our alliance ends here. We need not meet again.” She spoke coldly again. Ignoring and burying Mitra as quickly as she possibly could. And while it sounded cold there was... an uncertainty there. A light crack in her voice that wasn’t meant to be. The female’s lips quivered as she feared she’d fall apart, but she thankfully held back any tears. The memories of her life coiled through Levlidian's mind, his own emotional representation barely held up against what he could feel pulsing through him now. Fists balling, his jaw drawn taught it was difficult to decipher what were his emotions and what were hers, it wasn't that he was overreacting to the visions, more that he could almost feel how she did in the worst moments of her life. Treachery, oddity, sad, many words described this tale but as her hand swept clear of him and he watched on; Durian was trying to leave. Sadness filled him, he finally understood but his boots simply wouldn't move, it wasn't stubbornness but logic that dictated his actions here and upon parting his lips he realised words were of no use here. He knew because they offered little to him, in his grief words carried a hollow shell against the monster inside of him, the one shelling out the flesh and making a home, the darkness of depression was not ethereal not malleable.
Instead, as she moved to pass his arm would sweep placing a hand to her waist and intend to guide her suddenly into an embrace, lean arms sought a respectable squeeze whilst he buried his face into her shoulder should she allow. There was a moments silence, she'd feel his jaw moving in part as he tried to forge a way to speak after all of the notions he was flooded with. "I heard a voice," he muttered, the subject transferred whether he had her in that embrace or not. A softness entered his eye; "I'm sorry," he added, voice broken in tone, "I'm sorry I was such a Saiyan, I didn't know it was like this for your people," his words were always muffled but upon drawing his head back, it was obvious his tears were on the verge, yet he fought them back.
"I want to be like Lily-," he admitted with a slight smile, "-I want to be able to help you like she helped me, carry on her good work. The two of us are going to get revenge, however, I swear that to you. I'm not going to do it for you but I can help you. If it's strength you want, if it's blood, if it's a friend; I know our kind have always been at ends. I know that at least now. Though I can't let you just walk off, not in front of her, she'd want to help you and what friend am I if I don't try to help someone in need," If they were embracing he'd draw back a moment; "You are in need, it's probably nothing I can truly give, but I'd like to try,"
If the option is there, he'd let her go and turn, pointing to his ship, "I plan to go to Namek soon, I want you to come with me. If anything maybe the two of us can discover something new to focus on, if not we'll do what we can to unwravel this Universe. Perhaps free the other Kagami, who knows. We won't unless we try, am I wrong?". In the wake of his sudden silence, the beast closed his eye against the wavering winds, the snaking grass collapsing about the heel of either black boot and his long Gi danced in the breeze. What was this, his eye parted to look upon Durian and saw a little more than the angry woman he'd seen before. Oddly, he could see sadness even f it was the tainted ought similar to what was carried by this young Saiyan. While their endeavours were different, the pain was the same and before this house, he'd glance to the grave.
"I'm sorry for what i said," he mused, "I had no intention on killing you, hurting people without reason isn't in me, apparently hurting you isn't in me either. That voice though, who is it? Aina had something similar going on, a second soul that occupied the same container. Why haven't I felt them until now?" if it was what he suspected, the other was something their people believed to be part of them. This would mean she was tossing her own heritage aside for one that resembled his. Such a travesty couldn't be allowed to occur, though he refused to mollycoddle it was clear she needed either a strong strike back into the belief of her own people or something to focus on. Levlidian had felt something similar, stood aboard a mountain he had questioned himself why he'd stopped considering himself a Saiyan, it was grief, guilt.
"If that is what ever you people claim to aid you, then I need to ask, Durian, is it worth saving Kagami if you your self have revoked teh right to call yourself one? I like you as you are, but I can't lie and say the woman you were; it reminded me of Lily. It saddens me that I'm part of the reason you pushed that away but i don't blame you, so I am offering you a chance to travel in freedom with me. Search for a new reason, perhaps free more of your people, I won't ask you to help me kill the Solar Empire leaders; I only seek to unhinge them and watch it crumble. Whilst I can't make them stay dead, I -can- destroy everything they've built and push them back to square one. I could use a friend though,"

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY Escape. It was her thought and her desire. To flee before she could be broken anymore. The kagami didn’t understand. And while Levlidian had always challenged her thoughts, he had never cracked through before. With the assistance of Kazar, the two had torn down her very existence as Durian. She needed to escape both of them to get that back. It was why she would pass him to leave. Yet, passing wouldn’t await her. Escape would not be her release. A strong arm could be felt around her midsection as she was torn from her path. It wasn’t aggressive, but it all moved too slowly. Not as terrifying as death, but near earth-shattering. She didn’t know what to hold onto. The scent of the one she had become aggravatingly familiar with filled her nose. Levlidian’s hair tickled at her face as his hot breath repeatedly would cascade into the woman’s clothing and shoulder. At first the kagami didn’t move. There was no desire to throw him off of her, to rid herself of him. She had lost that hatred... Here was a man grieving. A saiyan, but merely a man. He’d muffle words into her, ones that Durian would recognize. Releasing a breath that she hadn’t realized she had been holding, it left her lips slowly and the woman would learn her cheek against the beast’s mane. The man’s locks. Closing her eyes, her arms would find themselves searching to hold him as well. The kagami didn’t know whether he was holding her together, she was holding him together, or a mixture of both. But she reacted. Durian needed something to cling to. Words wouldn’t form right away to answer about the voice he had heard, but she could send them beyond physical means. In fact, she did so. She spoke to us both.It didn’t really explain who the goddess was, but did confirm that Durian heard her too. Levlidian would then say sorry. Sorry to her and her people. “I’m not ready for apologies...” The hesitant woman spoke with a small but surprising amount of stubbornness. Not yet. She couldn’t be completely torn apart yet. She couldn’t handle it... He kept speaking, he pulled back to look at her and Durian’s uncertainty would be clear. She returned his look, searching his face and expression as much as her mind would contemplate and analyze his words. He would have to fight her to pull away from her farther. The kagami’s grip upon his body would have to be forcibly removed. She still needed something to hold onto and Lev had put himself into that position. He offered, whether he realized it or not, a moment of steady that Durian couldn’t claim to have in these moments. When he’d restrictedly point to his ship with his hand, Durian’s eyes would leave him for only a moment. See what he was pointing to and then draw back to him. Nodding slowly, her gaze would drop a bit as the consistent focusing upon his confidence was causing her to realize her lacking. I’ll go with you. The words would come to his mind through her. Winds blew past them, drawing up the edges of her clothing and teasing at the pair. It went mostly unnoticed by the Kagami, her selfishness and denial still wrapping her up in her own thoughts and beliefs. Once again Levlidian would apologize, Durian would react so negatively at first until he brought up Mitra once again. Her grasp on him weakened, the uncertainty focused upon his form once again. Dull eyes looking to him and near begging for help but too stubborn to ask or willingly admit. “I’m not ready to remember.” This was less confident and more cracked. A tear slid down her face and she would go to move away from him, and if successful swipe at her own face with the back of her hand to remove the evidence. The more he spoke the more he was pushing her towards the edge. Trading away her people to take his out. There was no reason to be filled with hatred anymore. The saiyans weren’t the issue at heart. Not when Lev could be how he was and still full blooded. She had nothing left. No will to kill all the saiyans. No conviction that they were monsters as a whole. What did she do now? And Lev offered her that. Freedom with him. They’re find her a purpose. He could use a friend. She stared at him. Silence. Except within her mind. Mitra was speaking to her and prodding her. It was gentle in both word and tone, Mitra was always a very light hand of help. It showed in Durian’s submission. Kind and thoughtful, quiet and soft. But the kagami was fighting it. Durian didn’t want to let go. Her eyes still watered and body lightly shook as she’d look towards the saiyan that made her world crumble and was offering to rebuild it. Who does that leave me as?She’d ask him mentally, her voice failing her as her mouth would open and nothing would come out. Levlidian was surprised at how Durian took hold of him, like a vice her fingers dug into his Gi but he hadn't parted from her, even as she did so to fend off that sadness his hand sought her shoulder and gripped it tight, his smile returning as she'd ask the worst question to answer. Taking in a deep breath and then removing his hand, the voice he drew out from within spoke with an odd harmony; "That depends-," he began and drew to a pause after not two words. What could he offer her in line with an answer? Not much, the youthful Saiyan had barely convinced himself of his own goals. The only action he was entirely sure of, was happening in this moment, yes he still felt that rancid hate towards the Solar Empire but that wasn't what she needed to hear right now. "-to me, right now, you just need some time to figure things out. I find, the best way to figure anything out is to see a new perspective. Adventures do that, they show you something new and on a daily basis too; so maybe we should have an adventure. Two unlikely friends travelling the stars,"
In truth, everything about today threw his entirety of a person into question, why was he finding it so easy to be open with this Kagami? Did he seek some form of atonement, was it that he felt shame for what his people did to hers, no she reminded him of how he felt not so long ago. Even now the putrid poison that was hatred bled through him, drove the rage he had to learn to control but it seemed something had shaken loose. Durian was confused, the look saddened Levlidian and his brow reflected that despite the warmness of his smile. "Come with me a second," he suddenly blurted out removing his hand of her shoulder and grasping her hand softly to tug her to his ship.
It was an enormous vessel, and should he manage to draw her on board he'd take her to the cockpit, the spherical device they clambered into via a set of stairs seemed to hum with life. Lev' let go of her unless she'd freed her self and began to excitedly press several buttons on the panel. A large dome drew above them, its virtual self expanded into a flat rectangle furthering into another sphere. More sphere's an eerily green hue against the black would rotate about one another. Systems and stars, though Lev' continued tapping and a single planet turned red, whilst another blue. "I disabled Vegeta," he said, running a wrist across his eye socket a moment. "It's on the black list, I never want to have to go home. I hate it. There's nothing but pain for us there, but-," he adverted upon his heel then drew behind Durian to point out the blue orb he'd created.
"That's Namek, word is a Legendary Super Saiyan was born there, I hear their people carry a very spiritual way of life," he looked to her again, "If we're going to learn anything about ourselves and where to go now, it's there. Away from another planet filled with fighting and find something calmer, maybe even discover something for you," a shrug followed before he'd step back and move around the depiction. He was trying to excite her, spark something, draw the conversation from the past and as Lev' paused; "if this is too much, we can stay here on Earth. I'm not quite going to follow you around, but I want to be near at least for the time being, I know you don't fly so feel free to use this ship,". The look on her face saw sadness spring into his complexion again, "I won't leave you alone, so I'll stay on what ever planet you want to, I know I'm getting ahead of myself but it's how I end up dealing with grief. I get sporadic, I'm sure you've noticed,"
"Hm," Lev' applied a hand to his eye socket again and inhaled deeply, "I can't do this travelling without someone to make sure-," his lips quivered but the beast seemed to shake it off. The outset depression swallowing him seemed to run deep infecting even his outward actions, slowly he'd place a hand to his chest and subconsciously massage it with his fingers, "I don't trust myself," he muttered, "I don't trust my blood, true enough I'm as I am now but in the past I've been different and I'm scared of it. When I fight, I become a whole other person, same morals but-," his brow sank, "-it's not evil, I know that. Still I don't want to become as battle drunk as when I was younger. I enjoy it, I can't deny that but there's a fine line between enjoyment and obsession. Can you help me beat that?" his smile expanded. "Though a lot of my inner goals I know-,"
His grin turned broad exposing the ivory beneath, "I don't know my own extra goals, not whole heartily, so it'll be a new experience for both of us if we travel,". he wandered to her and drew a thumb to ease any tears of hers or cup her cheek softly but pocketed his spare hand. "Believe in yourself, as corny as it sounds it's what has got me by. If you're confident of what you can do then it brings a slither of happiness back. You'll figure it out, I believe that. The woman I saw may have been a little unsure but she was strong in other ways, ain't all down to brute strength. I think you can help me find a way through this patch of darkness, can I help you?" it wasn't a wondering a question, he was directly asking permission and an uncharacteristic softness had entered his obsidian orb upon close quarters with Durian. "It hurts to see others sad," he whispered, "That's how you know you're a good person, despite knowing you've done bad things. Even with all that hate I saw something in you, I think you're the one who can make be believe in myself," he chuckled.

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY Adventure? It sounded like a kid’s story book. Two wandering heroes, side by side, traveling across the galaxy in search of wonder and excitement. Was he kidding? Was he trying to screw with her? Maybe it was all some big joke and he didn’t actually feel remorse. He just faked all of this sadness and showed specific memories that meant nothing? So he could play her with some randomized idea of adventure? There was uncertainty showing in the female at this point. An anxiety and nervousness to draw back to him even through the sad, warmth of an expression that he’d turn upon her. Yet, when he asked her to come with him, she didn’t flinch away. Staring blankly like this wretched nightmare of confusion would eventually have to end. His hand moved to hers and would lead her along. Towards his ship. Fear didn’t grip her heart, though she didn’t fully take note of that. Mitra was still speaking to her, softly but surely. Encouraging her onward and speaking about times that had passed. Durian’s hand would tighten around the saiyan’s, her gaze would be everywhere but on him but she kept a lock upon him physically for the moment. A ship that she may have been terrified to step into just minutes ago she was boarding. A large construction, they climbed into it with her tagging along behind Levlidian. Up stairs and into a cockpit. He’d loosen his grip upon her hand, to which she wouldn’t release right away. Her gaze traveling over that which this room held. And then, it would occur to her. Eyes snapping to their hands, his already trying to release, she’d let go of him. Sorry. The word was spoken mentally, quick and dismissing. There wasn’t much remorse in the tone or her expression, it was like she was numb. The dull eyes of the kagami would watch his fingers. Pressing button after button and the machine whirring to life. A projection of various planets and systems would come to their eyes, one planet changed color. One she recognized for its location. Vegeta. She could near feel her heart stop as she looked to Lev for some sort of reassurance that it wasn’t where they were headed. Immediately she could relax. Her shoulders even gave a bit as she heard his words. It was disabled and they weren’t going there. The saiyan man would then move, behind her and pointing towards the other planet that had shifted colors. The location was familiar but her memory wasn’t telling her the name. NamekHe told her. Pointing to it and speaking about the planet. Namekians weren’t beings she held negatively. In fact, upon meeting Namorel she felt a bit more at ease with their presence in general. Leaning back into the one-eyed man behind her, she’d have her back meet his torso if he didn’t stray from his position. She could see him look to her from the corner of her eye, and in return she’d shift her gaze to him as well. He was excited to go there, to grow, and for things to be calmer. She seemed less unsure, but wouldn’t comment on it. Would going to Namek really solve all of that? Would she actually be able to find a place and purpose among all this mess that was created today? Levlidian would step back away from her and around the visual representation of the systems. Her eyes followed him instead of the hologram. He was giving her a choice. Here, Namek, or possibly wherever else she wanted. He said he wouldn’t leave her. Not that he had to be right at her side, but close enough he could get to her. Then explained his actions. Being excited and sporadic. She was unsure on what path to take, and part of the female wanted to tell him the same thing as before. Their alliance was over. Yet... she also didn’t wish to. What did she want? Without him and without his reminder, she could slip back into the mindset before she came to this house. That saiyans were dark and evil. That she could bring their end. Even if it was temporary, death could hold them back. If she didn’t have Levlidian before her, she could make sure that it was merely trickery he showed her today. A bare hand moved to her temple as a sharp pain flew through it. MItra was none too pleased with that line of thought, and was frantically speaking of the harm that it could cause. There was slight pain in her expression, wincing, as the sharpness continued to prick at her head. Can you help me beat that? Durian had caught some of what he said, but her attention was currently being split between both him and MItra Her speaking and him speaking. Her pushing Durian forward and Levlidian beckoning her. Pushed and pulled. Being stretched in ways she wasn’t sure she wanted to go. She couldn’t decide. Why was she being forced? Why was there so much? The kagami didn’t even know her lips were moving, words softly coming from her mouth. ” te oro ut dearum potentiam viribus praebueris” Her eyes were taking back their red hue and her power level seemed to be shaking. The suppression wearing off as something was being drawn from within her. And then it stopped. A warm touch upon her cheek, the red eyes of the female were upon Levlidian. Tears had come, though she didn’t realize it until his thumb brushed over her cheek. He was smiling. Levlidian was trying to make her believe again. To hold onto something she didn’t have anymore. What she had was time as Salak and she couldn’t open that door... Once again the saiyan would surprise her. Not in a shocking and overly expressive way, but she didn’t know what to think or say. He wanted to help her. He wanted her to give him the go ahead. Not only that, but he wanted her as well. He thought she could help him. Her chest felt tight and her stomach sick. How? How could either of them help one another? Shutting her eyes, it was at first a tight and hiding response. Close him out. Pretend he wasn’t there. But there was nowhere to hide from Mitra. Leaning into the man, or more like accepting his touch to her face, she’d press into the touch. Her hiding and tense features would soften slowly, a hand reaching out for the gi of the man she knew was there. “I can’t promise anything.” These were the first words she spoke in a long while, it near seemed an eternity to the woman. Opening her eyes, they still took on the fiery red hue of the kagami people. She’s straighten her head a bit to allow him to drop from her if he so desired. “There is a part of me that wants to slip back into my hatred. There was comfort there, and confidence. But...” She began with more confidence in her words, but it would soon trail off as her gaze shifted off of him and downwards almost as if she were ashamed. “I’m afraid.” Afraid of accepting what had happened to her. To continue forward with a saiyan, of all beings. What made him different than her master? Would he use her as he had? One night in the dark she’d be torn apart and that which was most precious to her zapped of life? Her hand tightened on his gi if she had succeeded in grabbing it. “Help me gain back myself and I’ll help you. The man I saw in memories, at a grave, and here with me now... He has saiyan blood but isn’t controlled my raw urge and power. If I find no other reason for myself, I can fight for that man.” The last six words would have her look back to Levlidian. A small conviction in her confusion and uncertainty. If nothing else, she wanted this saiyan to not slip into that which caused her so much pain. She wanted so much for him to be different. It was strange to think these two were connecting in such a deep and selective manner, the way Durian clung to him coaxed a reasoning out of Levlidian that had long been dead. He felt it, like a latch sifting open the oldest door any man held. Delicate fingers folded around the rims of his black attire and dragged him close as though a threat, but he voice was soaked in the pleading of a damaged soul. Worry filled his brow, the singular obsidian eye he ventured a gaze upon the woman with faded from focus and his own hands rose to rest upon her forearms. She was giving him a chance, this woman once filled with such conviction and hate was willing to let it go just to find another way, just as he had done; the smile started small as this realisation dawned on him; he'd done it. Slowly the smile bloomed and sadness swallowed the worry but his smile weakened in the wake of such a response, what was this? He felt upset and positive in all the same wave that swelled from beneath his chest.
The young Saiyan was unsure, unsure he could do what she asked but confident that there was no other way but this path ahead of him now. The way she spoke, the belief she gave in a man who, until now, had only existed in the briefest moments. he wanted with all his being to be that man, the one others had seen in brief slithers of response only to be replaced by the battle loving brute his blood commanded of him. The coiling smile grew so wide it parted into a confident one and he closed his eyes against the welling of relief; someone listened. "I'll bring you back," he stated confidently, "There's no need to wonder if there's another me, this is who I am. I might enjoy fighting, I might train everyday but i don't do it to beat someone. I don't do it to becme the best. I do it to deal with my sadness, I do it so there won't be another Lily; if words fail I'll be gast enough and strong enough to beat the threat,"
"However-," he slowly eased her hands from him and folded her fingers in his to grant an air of acceptance to these next words; "I'm not a hero, I'm not made of stone and I'm not able to tell you I'll make all the right choices. I ask you trust that what I do, it will never be a simple cut black or white; we both know life simply isn't like that. I'll be a Zero, no Hero, no Villain, doing what must be done and shouldering the weight that comes with it. I don't enjoy hurting people, I enjoy testing people, learning about people and empathising with them. Whether it's through fists or through words. You, you're proof I'm not a Saiyan at all; I'm Levlidian," he'd look to their hands and slowly part them before turning on his heel to adventure to the door. "I know you're afraid, so am I, we've seen things and we acknowledge the darkness that Heroes are naive enough to think is evil. Evil is not in what happens to us, it's in the actions of others against us for anything but the betterment of our own selves, me, I'm going to show you how beautiful being free can make you,"
With a swift motion of his hand he'd wink, well, sort of wink and lead her in to the hallway away from the ships controls, crossing the length of it and opening a door; the beast betrayed a room to her. Within sat a simple bed, a desk of steel and a screen. Two sets of extra doors sat inside as well as a port hole. "This'll be your room, mine is next door and the door at the end is the Gravity chamber. We're going to find our way and fight for it if we have to, not as what ever race we are but as just two people trying to make sense of all the bad things. To find your lost self and my true self, mmm, now I'm starting to sound like Kazar," his lips curl down and once again he'd place both hands to his hips. "If you need more clothes, I have some Gi's that'll fit you if not we'll find you some. However, if you want to go, if this is all too much even after you've asked me to help you. I won't stop you, well, I'll try to convince you but to be honest, I think enough people have ordered you around in your life time. Things won't be the same without you though Durian, not for me,"
"I don't want promises though," he added with a sudden stern look, "Words can be seen as hollow, I'm going to show you and you're going to show me that fate is bullshit, the Universe has no right to condemn us to one way, to one path; we're going to carve our own. With Strength of will and body, as the martial Artists of old once did; with spirituality not raw power. I'm going to make Lily proud, I'm going to make he sacrifice on me mean something," the determination in the beasts voice bled into the folding of his fists as tears formed in his eye again. The moment he remembered, each time, the pain washed over him as if he were still being restrained back then. "Lily deserves to be known, people need to know about that woman in the forest, the one who turned a monster into a Guardian; as afraid as I am of slipping as you might, I won't let it stop me. Not for a moment am i going to look back anymore and cry for the sake of sadness and sorrow. I want you to come with me, I think I might need you to come with me not just into this ship but on this journey,"
"So what do you say?" Hope lay in that eye he dried with the rear of his glove, the leather absorbing tears and lowered to reveal determination once again, his Saiyan Pride redirected, reshaped into something different. Levlidian had made up his mind of what he was going to do, he'd decided that what ever the cost he was going to do as Hinawa had shown him, as Tomoyo had shown him and how Lily had shown him; that even poor choices don;t shape a man but the actions that follow his sacrifices. Blood does not dicate a person neither does 'fate'. "I will still fight, I will still enjoy it because that's me, not my blood but I will not be driven by it. I won;t let it control me, that i will promise you but I need you to make sure I stay on that path. In turn, I'll keep you on yours; who knows, maybe we'll even become the best of friends through this, I'd like that,"

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY This certainly wasn’t what she had expected from meeting him in the South. Accepting him and being torn down herself. Here she was clinging to him. And the reminder of such action wasn’t upsetting her. It was merely a fact. She felt, in this moment, that she needed him and to be connected to him. He touched her. Gloved hands upon her forearms. Red eye upon him with both comfort and uncertainty. There was something to be said for how he was putting her at ease, even while she was tormenting herself. He was smiling again. He seemed way too happy and pleased about all of this. Yet... at least it wasn’t overbounding joy. He was tempered. There were many things at work within him too. The both of them were experiencing fear, uncertainty, comfort... Severe mixes and yet offering themselves to the other for support. His confidence in bringing her back settled her heart. It even quieted Mitra for a brief moment. It sounded so solid, that she could just rely on it without a doubt. The kagami wanted to, but doubt would immediately attack any comfort in the thought. Not to mention what he spoke... There was no other him. A sad smile would come to the woman’s face. There was though. She had seen it in his past. Hell, she had started to force it out of him over the past few months. She had actively been trying to kill the good in him to fuel her hatred. When he’d take her hands and emphasize the fact that he was neither a hero or a villain, the kagami couldn’t help but smirk. He wasn’t made of stone. He wasn’t fully good nor fully evil. No one was. He was wordy, but she would listen. It wasn’t an irritating and empty wordy like she had found Kazar to be. Levlidian wasn’t trying to please her with every single word. He wasn’t trying to manipulate her, she hoped. He was laying out his expectations, his fears, his beliefs. “Beast of Protection.” She was... teasing? It was spoken after he said he was simply him. There was a small grin on her face, it was somewhat faint as her reddened eyes would stare at him. There was definitely some teasing in her voice when she had spoke, but she would let the subject drop. Him looking down and her following, their hands together and soon parted. He turned his back to her and she felt no inclination to attack him. Follow. Falling in step just barely behind him, she’d listen once again as the man opened his mouth. With everything he said, she started to just simply hope it was true. That he could help. That he could show her. And with Mitra completely bombarding her mind with advice and memories, she was having a hard time focusing completely upon him. Her eyes would briefly catch the wink, the one she had experienced upon Kazar’s ship not so long ago. It was always the slightest bit peculiar, what with his one eye. But somewhat amusing all the same. Sometime... maybe not now while her mind was turning. She kept with him, down a hallway and then he’d open a door. A room that was set up for a person to reside in. A few things housed in their for a guest. Who might have stayed here before her? Was he offering it to her? The red gaze would questioningly shift to the man just before he spoke. So it was a room he was offering to her. Brief memories flashed before her mind of the last room she was offered. A room aboard a ship. Emer. A kagami she fought with about needing to be strong for their people. Not throwing his life away with apathy. The woman’s eyes started to well with tears and also... become colder. He had vanished. Him and Hinawa, without a trace. They left her. Her vision barely focusing upon Levlidian again, she’d immediately look away upon realizing it. Staring into the room as if trying to inspect. Would he be the next? To either leave or be torn from her? Why... had she thought of torn from her? That would be Mitra’s fault. Darkness and cold. Memories of her own were forced to the forefront of her senses. It felt like death. Her body tensed up as the memory of pain would envelop her. Pain and fear. Levlidian was seeping in and out of her mind. He was there, but he slowly wasn’t. Her memories drawing her back into a time she long ago tried to bury and forget. Even when he showed him, she had ignored it. Mitra took care of the transfer. Now... she was forcing it into her thoughts and feelings. “Lev...” The word was quiet, hell.. she wasn’t sure she actually spoke it. She could hear him, he was talking. Lily. Something about Lily. But she couldn’t focus long enough to hear what actual words were being said. That angry face above her, it was like she was living it all over again. Her breath both in memory and in the now were leaving her body. Her breath shallowing. Durian reached out for Levlidian, meaning to grab his gi or his arm or anything once again. But she’d most definitely miss. Her arm even barely raised as her mind was in torment from the goddess within. The pain would fire on, her body re-experiencing the horridness of death within and her own being choked out. And in the blackness, Durian’s eyes near giving out to the realm in front of her. She’d feel the sadness. The loneliness. That no matter what she did, even past the fear and the pain, she couldn’t do anything to save something so important. Something so innocent and pure. It was taken from her. The mentally yet physically blinded kagami was crying. Near weeping. Her arms had folded around herself as the thin and tall form of the woman shook. Shook with pain and sorrow. It was like Levlidian wasn’t there anymore. Once again. She had to face this alone. Mitra wasn’t speaking to her anymore. Azuki wasn’t there to help her. Levlidian didn’t exist. Where was she and why was she on her own again? Why couldn’t she save her own child? The man’s great speech. His great ending. Was lost to Durian. Her mind fighting with her, her memories clouding her reality. She couldn’t tell him she’d be there. Right now, she was alone and a help to no one. The young Saiyan watched on as his lengthy conversation however one sided, drew to an end, Durian seemed to feed her bright red orbs into the essence of nothing. "Lev..," she seemed to say, no, did she mouth it? Concern blanketed the beasts complexion and he'd reach out with both hands to the slender shoulders of his comrade. Down drew his complexion fixing the darkness of his eye about hers, something was wrong, very wrong and without a word he'd fall into a squat before her, his finger tips trailing to the rim of her folded arms. "Durian," he called. The tips of his fingers folded within the crevice between her arms and chest whilst he'd stare up at her. "Durian, talk to me," he said simply. Seemingly the Kagami had zoned out, judging by the terror he could see that something plagued her and upon rising he'd lead her into the living quarters. Backing up himself, the beast would consistently glance about his shoulder to lead his friend to a sofa not far from them.
The two hands once about her forearm sought Durian's shoulders and fended to seat her whilst he sat beside her, still no response and yet she seemed almost entirely coherent, slowly Lev' settled on to the sofa and lure her into the cushion of his chest, simply resting his chin on top of her head and binding his friend in an embrace. "Talk to me," came his worried plea. What ever had the Kagami startled was swallowing her, slowly but surely and he barely understood what that could be. For sure it was nothing truly trivial, this was a darkened piece of that past of hers and it made for a serious amount of damage; gently he'd trail his fingers through the short length of her rainbow hair. What was it he learned from his friend back in the Capitol, distract the distraught, folding the lower length of his lip within his maw the man began to consider this notion.
"Your kind are fascinating, your eyes change like ours do to a shift in rage, but your hair looks far more beautiful than our dull colours," he was terrible at small talk, clearly, "Talk to me Durian, what are you seeing,". The tips of his fingers trailed to her crown beneath the strands, an obsidian eye drew to the spherical shape of his abode. long walls of white coloured only by the brightness of the wires and electronics; oddly it was a peaceful notion to follow. Identifying each item neutrally and without judgement. A hard test to say the least but it calmed the young Saiyan. He wondered what she was seeing, a dying lover, friend, family member, a dark tale only a former slave would understand, a song of macabre he'd understand and sadden about(?) Of this there was no doubt, but still it felt like a pang of not curiosity but concern; this willed him on with the soothing notions he'd up taken.
As he might someone younger, the Saiyan drew her upon his thighs and coiled his arms like a barrier about her, fixing a dark stare back upon the wall; "There you go, the best shield I can muster right now," he muttered to her crown on which his cheek rested. For some strange reason, he felt no need to speak anymore than what he was. True, he'd lead a woman suffering from a near breakdown and had utterly no idea how to condense the situation down but he knew what he would want. Following the age olf advice he'd been granted, a random tangent began. "You know apparently Namek is almost entirely blue and green, endless miles of fields, water and mountains. Do you think it still is, or might it be an enormous metropolis by now?". By Kami he was terrible at these but he persisted in any case.
"There's a story that tells of a Legend, a man with golden hair fought a tyrant serpent whiter than any diamond, they destroyed the planet in their war on one another. A great sacrifice in the betterment of the Universe. It's in quite a few Namekian texts they left here on Earth. Sounds interesting, doesn't it? Completely implausible because if Namek was destroyed, how could it be there now?". So much for not talking, but what ever was happening to his friend, getting scared wasn't going to draw them out of it, he had to act confident, not ignore her position but coax her out of it with curiosity, Talk of things Durian might peak to and distract her, the next time she thought of what ever it was; he wanted to listen. "What do you think, you think it's just a horrible story to bedazzle little Namekian idiots?"
"Still, there's a story I want to understand better and the only one who can tell me it, is you," since when did his words become so wise, how old was he now? How long had it been since he'd been slipped into the position of guide? It mattered not, sweeping the length of his chocolate brown mane clear of his mirror opposite eyes, the scarred being drew his hand to Durian's shoulder and cheek to try and lead her to look up and into him. "Tell me," he almost begged, the singular orb of darkness fluttering between the red; he'd now realised it was something he couldn't understand. There was a dark secret in the tales she'd shared with him and he'd over looked it, be it because it was truly horrific or because he was forgetful; that vision sent a sickening feeling to his very core and- he smiled. "I'm here,"
