I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY Lost in some past presence, the Kagami couldn’t even consciously sense what was still around her. She remained standing, even with her body trembling as the emotions from her past washed over her. Defeat, fear, abandonment, anger... Loss. Tears streamed down the female’s face. Somewhere in her mind she would register physical contact but it wasn’t enough to reach her. The kagami may have been physically right with Levlidian, but mentally her mind was bombarded with past memories. A name that wasn’t hers. Durian. Who was calling that? Who was Durian? The recesses of her mind pressed the confusion away. It was not part of the world she was in. The planet of Vegeta which housed a pained Salak had no room for Durian yet. Her physical body was guided to another room, the gentleness not waking her from her nightmare while awake. Alone. She was alone. Even with someone with her, her mind wouldn’t comprehend it. Levlidian did not exist. The saiyan’s arm around her body and the protective nature he was basically showing to her was not something that was apparent. He brought her closer. Her head onto his chest and his chin resting upon her as well. Warmth would seep into the cold that was her memories. Memories played over and over. Terror finding some release. Why? She couldn’t find why yet? Who was comforting her sorrow when she was so alone? Talk to meTo who? The female would close her eyes, bringing darkness to her physical senses as well. Tears squeezed out as the lids closed and the weeping woman would shake into the hardened body of the beast of protection. He would keep speaking and Durian would remain lost. Gone to the world she had buried years ago. But his touch calmed the physical tension and frustration. His calming touch running along her scalp would lessen her trembling, the warmth of the male drawing in the body of the kagami for comfort. Beast of Protection indeed. While Durian may have been lost to the saiyan drawing her into his arms. His cheek rested against her hair. The kagami barely stirred at the contact. Levlidian was trying so hard and she was nowhere to appreciate it. That didn’t mean another wouldn’t. Her goddess and the other that took place in her body and mind. She could hear Levlidian clearly. She could feel the pain of her hostess. She knew what was happening in both worlds, and quite possibly caused the torment that Durian was now experiencing. The kagami was ready. And here, someone had offered assistance. He brought his hand to her face, the red eyes opening with clarity for a few brief moments as he’d help her to look to him. The female bit into her lip, drawing a metallic taste into her mouth from the small injury she had just given herself. She’ll tell you. A voice would come into Levlidian’s thoughts. That of Mitra. Calming and soothing, if he was attentive he may realize that the clarity in Durian’ vision couldn’t possibly be hers when she had been in pieces moments before. But if he was so attentive, he may fend off the next movement. The kagami closing the distance between their faces when he had turned her to him. Her lips attempting to meet his and massage them gently to open himself to her. The blood of the kagami to be shared with him once again to allow him to dwell in the darkness Durian now found herself in. If the man did allow himself to be violated, he would soon find his own mind falling to meet with hers. The shared memories to be revealed. And as he’d depart, the calming voice would come again while the darkness would swallow him. I know you’re here but she doesn’t. Show her.Like they were in a different world, yet the same. Durian and Levlidian would be in the position they had been on the couch. The female within his lap and protected by his form. Her attention would be upon a scene that was almost before them, but also within them. A struggling Salak, fighting desperately and losing. A saiyan, strong and sturdy, choking the life out of a bloody kagami beneath him. So much blood. And most from a life that wasn’t hers. As the scene would play onwards, the darkness would encircle the pair again until there was nothing. Cold. He’d feel the cold. And even if he knew Durian was there, he would know the overwhelming feeling of being alone. As if everything was over and nothing was left. I couldn’t save him.It was a shuddering and pathetic voice, but it was Durian’s. Pain would shoot through the mind of the kagami and be shared with the saiyan in the same moment. Even in the darkness and alone, the horrid pain of one’s body ridding itself of things it no longer could keep. So much blood. So much... waste. Life that had turned to nothing but waste to her own body. I lost him. And then I.... I discarded him.The shakiness was returning. The kagami breaking down further. How could she have done nothing? Was there nothing else she could have done to save her child? She wondered it constantly. And the guilt that came with having to discard of her child. The weakness to not only fail in saving him, but having to throw him out as nothing more than blood and tissue. When the darkness would lift. When the pain and loneliness would start to fall away. One might find brief relief. But so brief. For the scene would play again. And again. This is where Durian was stuck. Her failure. Her loss. Her loneliness. Anything and everything she held dear had been stripped of her. She had someone to protect and save and love. And they were not only ripped from her body, but she had physically helped with the removal due to ‘normal’ bodily necessity. It was a moment she had never wanted to relive. A time that she wanted to change and go on living without knowing. And here she was, face to face with it. Having nothing and deserving nothing for being useless in protecting the one thing she should have been able to save. The young Saiyan comforted her, his lean form encompassing the quivering darkness this Kagami seemed to have become, his smile was small but his eye reflected a deeper sense of understanding to the position she was in. Loss was a powerful demon, it took you by the ankles and dragged you deep into a vast ocean of self pity, still, he hushed her as the quiet enveloped them both. What he did not foresee was the gentle voice in his head. Their eyes had met as she followed his guidance, this was in no means a way to gain access to anything more than the woman shutting herself out, his brow drew up as she swept in whilst he was taken back by this other voice. Their lips came together and Levlidian was plunged into a me-dative state, down he fell, the darkness all about him as thick as any curtain but as fluid as the waters of the ocean. His boots met with a solid surface after mere moments and he peered upwards to the voice as it spoke again; he'd known Kagami were highly spiritual but this was an entirely new level.
Staggering on into the blackness, he sought the voice of another, he could hear it but dare not see. Wait, dare not- his brow furrowed as emotions that were not his blossomed in his heart and mind. All that loss, that pain, it was unrelenting and even now he could feel his legs giving way to it when suddenly she was in his arms, there they were back on the sofa. No, wait, was that the case? It was a confusing position and yet he tightened his arms about Durian and muttered; "You're alright," it was becoming difficult to think as he experienced what she was, so much sorrow from one little woman. Before them forged a scene, a glowering depiction as though on a screen, it was horrific, he had no idea how but the feeling of foreboding to approach the scene press hard against him.
Drawing the length of his jaw taught, the beast slowly lowered his complexion into the hair of Durian, his body began to shake the more cold that encircled them. "Bastards," came a voice. His jaw cracked, brow sank into itself as a tear rolled down his eye. These feelings were not his, they couldn't be and that sight. Even hiding, hiding in her mane wasn't enough as though the scene was burned into his eyes. More images came, his Father's fist embedding into his jaw, his Brother lying upon that cliff side bloodied and beaten and finally he saw Lily. "Wake up," came his gruff voice, "Wake up damn it," he demanded but seemingly not talking to anyone but himself. The air about them in the realms of reality began to draw in a vibrant static. Machinery struck to the ground, damaged, the floor rumbling with his muscles tensing. It was as if the world shook with rage as the young Saiyan did.
"You didn't," he growled, answering the voice taht repeated over and over in his head, confusion had swept the Saiyan a long and he could feel that mixture of pain from the two entities. "No one-," he cringed in pain and the status vented a violent strike levelling a chair near by; "Bastards," he uttered again, this Kagami ability poured too much and Levlidian was blinding himself with a different emotion. One could not simply call it rage, it was a deep set -want- for something more. "Get off her," there he went again, falling into the illusion. "Get off her," he repeated as his deep set Honour took hold of his chest and began to peel open an old door. "Show her,", came that little voice and Levlidian's arms tightened further still. Suddenly he saw that woman, a glowering orb of gold in her hands, outstretched and in his grief; in his strife the boy he'd become didn't faulter.
Diving to the figure, he recognised her, Durian was behind him, with his other self whilst before a staggering boy stood: his mother. She reached out to him, dressed in Solar Empire Armour and grinning as any Saiyan would. Her beautiful, spined chocolate mane betrayed where he'd gained his, there were no words exchanged and a simple pat on his head came to light; before she pierced him with the light. Pain reeled through Levlidian as he curled over the whimpering Durian thus a violent hum echoed through the chambers of his ship. Unsure where he was, unsure what was real anymore he couldn't cease the bomb planted by his parentage. Levlidian's mane erected, the hum gave bloom to the wrath of golden flames and the mane flickered an identical colour. Through the darkness came a thunderous roar and all means within that sphere, equipment, placed chairs, they were torn asunder as the man ignited.
"Get off her!" came the roar and Levlidian remained in her grasp, shaking against the influx of emotions driving his super Saiyan form wild, in his mind he tore the Saiyan from this woman. He mounted them, driving his fists hard time after time into the visions complexion until it dissipated and he fell onto all fours. Rage filled him, it twisted his mind and his body forging pain and sadness into a pure drive. "She's with child," Levlidian whispered incoherently, it sounded like a plea. The visualisation coming to fruition as he allowed Durian to roll onto the sofa and drove his fists into the metal. Lost to the thoughts she'd projected and utterly devoid of the ability to get out; the man grasped his golden mane and elaborated another roar igniting a flurry of pulses; his energy working like an inferno once again. "I'm here," he called loudly, "It's not her fault damnit, get OFF her,"

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY He was with her. She didn’t know how and she didn’t know how to take it, but Levlidian was right here with her. In all of this darkness, she was no longer alone. The kagami was still crying, but the sound was filtered out. Everything was silence except for the memory that poured through their senses. Everything was silence except for their thoughts. Mouths could open to speak and nothing would come from vocal chords. Only a mere echo in the brain. The woman, here having more control over her mental design, had buried herself into the new form. Hiding from the images before them that had no way of being escaped. Her head buried into his chest as the silent weeping continued. Her hands shook and she wanted desperately for it all to be buried again. Bastards...The word echoed like in an empty performance hall. Not from his mouth, even though he had tried to speak. The Kagami’s mind focused not only upon her own, but sharing pathways with Levlidian’s would be invited to his hell as well. That woman in the real world as well as her mind would grip tightly to the man with her, nails near digging into his chest through his gi. His family. Blood. Lily. Durian knew well that Lily was not of her memories, yet it was almost like the horrors of both misfits were merging together. Their minds lost to the world that surrounded their physical bodies, even as transformation and change took place. The trembling of both bodies, from their mental exhaustion and bodies being powered or tormented would become evident to the goddess. The goddess that was aware of both the physical and mental realm of these two individuals, who had seen both Durian and Levlidian in their pasts and present. They were tumbling. A dangerous task she set before them both but... possibly rewarding. Or completely destructive and damning. Durian would note the woman. One that distracted from a realm of pain from the kagami. Golden. An orb. With the likeness of Levlidian. Sister? Mother? She didn’t recall the woman from the sharing of memories earlier? Was he... truly here? It was coming together that Levlidian had let himself into her mind and pain, was both sharing hers and his. The Levlidian that was pierced would be ‘caught’ into the arms of the kagami. Holding to him gently and cradling him like she might have her own child. “I’m here.” The words were the same, echoing through a chamber. But they would be voiced to the saiyan who was physically changing. The kagami finally speaking clearly and with calm. Her body was still shaken. Her mind was still worn. But... just as he had come to her, she found the purpose in needing to shield him. If... she could. Durian was beginning to feel the sensations outside her mind. A trembling that was not her own. Warm muscles and cloth wrapping around her body. Her hand tense and tired from the hold she kept on the man with her. Reality was blending into memory too much. And Levlidian had succeeded in pulling her back. But... what of him? She was cast aside as the saiyan plunged forward. His fists sinking into the metal of his ship as her vision became aware of the scene before her. Golden light. Golden hair. This is what he coveted. And partially what she feared. The flashes between mind and body were unrelenting, though without them connected by blood should lessen... Hopefully. The Kagami tried prying into his mind with her telepathy, trying to get back the understanding and share his pain as he had done with her. Moving from the couch, she near tripped trying to get to his side. Her body pressed into his shoulder, forehead into his golden mane. She circle her hands around him, his neck mostly though not tightly. Securely. She needed to be there. Closing her eyes and attempting to focus upon that which was held within the saiyan’s mind. Energy coursed around them. His ki... was powerful. Her heart raced with fear. Fear for him and herself. She’d seen this transformation few times, but she heard of it. It was a saiyan’s pride. “You’re here, Levlidian.” She called to him telepathically and physically. Her mouth near his ear, words gentle and almost quiet. Soothing, but nothing like that of her goddess. This was Durian, the kagami. She had to be there for his pain as he was being there for her. “I’m safe. You’re with me.” She encouraged again. Holding to the man and trying to drag him back from the memory that she had shoved upon him. The power radiated violently, the image flared like an abstract and he could feel every vent the man elaborated, he could feel the two indecisive elaborations of each others past fusing. Again another pulse vibrated across the floors, the ceilings and as he fell forward to cower beneath his out of control emotions; he was caught. With that his eye snapped open to reveal a blurred image. The silver at his knees shone bright with an odd, golden hue whilst Levlidian's eyes descended to find a slim arm across his chest, buried in his crown lay a gentle voice and his jaw drew taught in the wake of it. Durian was whispering to him, his hands faltered and then rose to grasp her wrist, completely confused he'd rise against the lighter feeling his body reflected.
Within the dark, from before, he'd heard her calling in a soothing tone, a loving one to which he'd peered into the blinding light and sought a hand. taking it, the young Saiyan was lifted out of the rage and the grief then placed back where he was. No longer was he destroying a man, a man who fluctuated between brother to Father to another he'd never met. Twas a dark hallucination entirely, still, in his confused state he couldn't help but gaze around looking for that injured Kagami. The confusion was lessening and Lev' found himself relaxing. She was warm, inviting, was this still Durian at all? Where was he now, the scene looked desolate for as of yet the young man couldn't see the damage he'd wrought.
There she was, seemingly different, there wasn't a hatred in her eyes that the young man had become accustom to, slowly a confused smile drew about his lips but a reflection made him stop. Within that instant of realisation, the mane fell into its normal poise recolouring to chocolate; he'd done it. Though now was not a time to celebrate and his lips curved downwards, slowly he'd peel free of Durian, using his wrist to wipe what ever residue collaborated at the corner of his eye but he didn't get far. Unable to stand he found himself leaning about the female instead of trying to grant himself some air. Body exhausted, mind reeling, he exhaled sharply. "What was that," he muttered to her. The images were blurring, he wasn't so much as forgetting them as he had combined the thoughts into one. His primitive mind seemingly had no conditioning for the antics that had be fell them today.
"You are here," he confirmed, patting her wrist and tempting his lower lip, upon the finger he granted the notion came a slither of blood and he allowed his hand to fall. "I'm too tired to stand," he chuckled. Having taken a moment now, he began to recall and guided his eyes about the ship, it was ruined, at least the furniture was and part of the hull owned damage of its own; dents and small cracks. Damnit, he'd turned inside his own ship, now it was damaged, more repairs were incoming and just like that the notion swapped again. Straining against the weakness of his form he adversed on his knees and cupped her skull with his hands, worry painted his eye as he inspected the woman's complexion "You -are- ok," he said with a sigh of relief and placed his forehead to hers; "Idiot," he muttered, "I'm glad,".
"Your aura feels different," he mused and parted from her, fighting to stand as he ever did, reaching to help her up in kind and stumbled back for the couch where he'd collapse upon his back. "Warn me next time, before we pull something like that," he muttered with a groan, pacing both hands over his face, Lev' sighed into the flesh and slowly ran his fingers through his hair. "That was intense, what happened? I remember seeing your memories, then everything went haywire and next thing i know; it's you comforting me,". She'd been there for him, in the darkest hour of his mind, a Kagami pulled him back from the brink. Though was it the brink? The philosophy of it gave the young man a migraine and he allowed his forearm to slump heavily over his complexion.
"Did you..," another hand rose to his chin and he allowed his singular obsidian eye to peer from beneath the flesh, "Huh," nothing more was said, he watched Durian for a moment for what she was doing and his lips granted her a lazy smile; "Hm," was the only utterance. "How do you feel now?". A wonder and a half, this exchange had let a lot of things bleed into the foreground. Now that the hefty, powerful darkness had been lifted and shared; Levlidian felt a lot lighter. oddly, he felt more so at peace than he had done in a while; "Who was talking to me Durian, was it your goddess?".

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY She was here. Durian needed him to know that. He had come to help her and she would be there for him. Securely holding to him, praying to the goddesses of her people for strength and confidence, the kagami would hold to that which she feared and had even hated most. A saiyan. One granted with the power that many coveted in their race, that of super saiyan. Any idiot could tell by the golden aura the surrounded him, his hair taking on a completely new hue, and the waves of power that crushed the ship and made everything around him shake. At this point, holding to him was as much to show him she was there as to not be thrown aside by his waves of ki and energy. His hand circled around her wrist to which she’d wait and see what he wished. Did he want her to release him? Was he holding to her as well? “We’re okay.” She soothed again. The distress coming off of him in waves. Her being there. It wasn’t just she who was fine, but he would be as well. She had to help guide him back. And thankfully, he was doing better. He didn’t seem to be as tense. If she didn’t have her forehead resting against him she may have noticed the smile start to crawl across his face. Then, another instant change. Like something fell. The golden glow would vanish from sight and feel, the hair she had against her face would turn back to Levlidian’s normal color and lose it’s powerful, spikey gold. The hand upon her wrist finally gave motion. Taking her from him. As the woman wasn’t quite sure what to do, nor if he needed her or not in these moment, she let him do as he wished. He was at least back in this more physical and aware realm, as was she. She’d begin to settle onto a place on the floor, tired in body and mind. That was, until her friend began to stand and fumbled in his actions. She caught him again from the slight falling back, her hands grasping his upper arm and feeling his shoulder near collide with her chest. Stroking one thumb against him, she managed to express a weak smile. “The problems of two stubborn races combining.” She spoke quietly in answer to his what was that, a light and almost teasing tone to her voice. There was still much to remember and be in pain about, for both of them. But... it was helpful knowing he had been there. When he’d repeat after her that she was there, the kagami would merely nod once. She was indeed. Noting himself that he couldn’t stand and accompanying I with a laugh, the smile upon her face became more evident, a brief and single chuckle of her own being basically exhaled from her lips. “Don’t stand then.” Almost like a warning mother, but calmer and less demanding. When he’d begin to look about his ship, the kagami would do the same. Damage had certainly been done. She found relief in the fact she wasn’t part of the destructive scene. He certainly could have flattened her as much as most of this furniture. And this large dent where his fists collided with the floor... The thoughts of her being wrecked like his ship were interrupted as she felt cloth and warmth grip her face. A bit of surprise flashing through her eyes, she’d be looking into one black and one glossy eye of her newly powered friend. Her hands shifting to his arm, one grasping lightly to his wrist and the other running a line down his forearm. Her expression softened when he found relief in her being okay. “Thank you for coming for me, Levlidian.” It was almost too serious sounding. Like it had been a pact or agreement signed to be completed. But her expression certainly held a lot of care and relief, gratefulness even. Like two different people mixing, or even just an uncertainty on how to handle the situation. And as they’d part, he’d make another comment. The kagami would roll her eyes and release her grip upon him as well. “It probably is different. It lacks bloodthirst and revenge.” It was like it made sense to her. And in truth, it sort of did. Who she had been for these months with the saiyan was gone. Durian didn’t want to kill him. Didn’t want to hurt him further and didn’t want to be proven right that he could spiral into destruction. He stood, though shakily, but still took the time and effort to help her to her feet as well. Fighting her own exhaustion, she’d take his hand and get to her own feet. Her weakness wasn’t as obvious as his. She hadn’t taken on a new form and power. Taking slower steps to join him on his couch, she’d settle in beside him, drawing her legs beneath her body much like she had those days ago upon Kazar’s ship. When he’d ask for a warning, Durian would stifle a laugh and look to the man who now covered his face with his hands. “I was a little preoccupied being swallowed up by memories I locked away years ago.” She didn’t seem irritated by his demand for a warning, merely amused. At least it was over. Over as in.. the reliving. But this living in the present was still there. Remembering that which she had lost and feeling the pain of having given that up so easily. Giving it up and not having her child with her now. He asked what happened. Did he want a full explanation? Or was he merely musing. Hm. Her eyes turned towards the ceiling of the disheveled room, her hands moving towards the front of her and grasping her own knee lightly. “I’m able to view my memories vividly if I so desire. But I couldn’t get out of it. I assume you shared my blood, which gives you an all access pass to my memories. My telepathy mixed with you taking my blood brought our memories together... or so I think. My pain and yours were mixing. You broke my cycle, so I could help you out of yours.” Smiling faintly, still a little unsure herself, she’d take a sideways glance to the saiyan. He went to ask something else, but it wasn’t completely spoken. She kept her vision somewhat upon him, wondering what he had wanted to know. But she didn’t press. He was tired. She was tired. Digging would only take effort from both of them. His smile was mimicked by hers, allowing her to look away from him and drop her gaze to her own hands. How did she feel now? “Sad.” She’d answer almost immediately. There was a small hesitation as she fully was aware that it was better than it had been before. “But not alone.” It was a glad thought to the kagami. Levlidian was there. Mitra was there. In everything she had lost, the only thing that had mattered to her dying, she wasn’t alone now. Her goddess? The word stuck in her mind as the male spoke it, Durian looking more fully to him for a moment and studying his expression. Nodding hesitantly, she’d once again look away and up to his ceiling. “She goes by the name of Mitra. She never fails to speak calmly and softly. Powerful. But she remains small of her own choice.” Durian wasn’t sure what really to offer with that. But she could shift the situation off of herself. “How do you feel? You got your golden power like you wanted.” There was an odd joy to her voice. But it was lined with... disappointment? Fear? It was hard to distinguish. Possibly once again her inability to deal with the situation. Levlidian --------------------------------------------- NOTE - I currently have a mind reading tech to be approved. "Don't word it like that," he laughed and placed a hand over his face, the fingertips drew down the mans forehead and a singledark eye peered to the cracked sheets of steel above him; "You make it sound romantic in a stubborn sort of way,". Flashes of the memories wrought their painful rage upon him and a cringe followed suit. Seemingly the effect was slowly wearing off. However, the image of such violence would haunt him, a protective part of him wanted to see that it didn't happen. The notion he followed to free Kagami was only strengthened now he'd experienced the true brutality of it. The fact he'd been so blind actually irritated him, had he been so selfish to never consider what Hinawa had taught him as anything but a story? well, not so much, but seeking out what she truly meant should have been an act he'd followed; yet turning into a Super Saiyan was always number one to him. Speaking of which, what did he do now?
"of course I came," he uttered still watching the roof, "You needed someone and I was there, it'd take quite the asshole to just let you rot trapped in those memories," he quietened a moment before grunting to adjust against the couch, "I know how it feels to hide things. Today I was forced to relive and see things I'd quelled for so long, I forgot how vile they really were,". Durian had looked away, her mane falling to rest messily about the length of her brow and Lev' gazed on. "Sad is good," he said, "It means you appreciate and remember properly, to be honest I prefer you this way. A good ying to my yang,". Again he would chuckle and slump, moving was a difficult edifice to erect, each muscle ached with prolonged agony and it was as though he'd trained for days straight.
Levlidian listened on, his limbs lying at their sides as he regarded the ceiling for a moment; a furrowed brow swallowed his complexion as he took in all she offered. It was a wonder, a wonder how this scene had changed so drastically from how they were not a short time ago. From enemies, or at least rivals to friends that seemed quite happy to rest about the seat, the last standing piece of furniture of an otherwise ruined pod. The steady buzzing of exposed wires filled the air as the beast comprehended the final question. How did he feel, it wasn't precisely how he'd imagined it happening, ironically it was within a glorious battle the beast foresaw his change; yet it was in this moment of grief and desperation that he'd stretched too far and taken up his Mother's mantle. Folding the lower flesh of his lip into his maw, he fought to sit up leaning to the padded cushion and regarding Durian again with a single eye.
"Mitra," he muttered and closed his eyes, remembering the little voice to which courted an amused snort, "She'd be the last one I'd have pictured inside of you. Though, in a way it suits you,". It felt oddly calming, to know he'd aided someone in some way other than through combat. Though he'd not be eager to repeat the process, it was a ncie quandary to be in because he'd always know now; he'd act correctly on behalf of another. Levlidian watched her fingers a moment before noting his hand swayed to hold them, however he deterred and returned to his silent vigelence of the cracks above him. This ship was a wreck now, all that hard work, damnit now he'd have to repair it and this time without Callion or Capper. How annoying.
"I feel lighter," he muttered, a nonsensical tune that drew on a soft voice, "I still feel like me but, that power came and- I couldn't feel the pain anymore. Everything washed away and I felt like a large part of myself came flooding back,". A sudden smile changed the tune of his saddening voice but the depressive state remained upon his complexion. "I saw my Mother in the same vision I saw when I was dying to that Demon. I'm sure it wasn't more than a psychological thing but-," a pause followed. Again they were encompassed by the sounds about then and the man expelled a breath, "-It felt like it wasn't mine. Sort of like a parent handing an heirloom, something far deeper came to me and I guess I reasoned it like that stuck in a me-dative state. It was good to see her,"
With a sigh he raised a hand and cupped Durian's cheek and betrayed his usual arrogant grin, "Nah, you're not alone but you -have- acquired a friend less likely to let you slip like that again," with a worn chuckle he'd lower his hand, "A Kagami and a Saiyan, signs that things are changing. We just have to try and spread it out a little further than just us,". With a shrug the man replaced the hand about his crown and slumped again; running his gloved fingers through his mane and peering upon Durian with a warmth in his eyes. "lets not do that again, not without practice, you're a good looking woman but your mind overwhelms even my stubborn brick. I am happy you've taken a step away from the past though. Even if it's a small step, it's a start right?"

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY Durian couldn’t help but smirk at his reaction to her initial comment of their two races combining. She had thought it was clever and short. He was making it romantic. That wasn’t the intention and he had no reason to pull strings for that other than to try and find light in the situation. It was good to have escaped the horrors of their minds. His and hers were definitely not a mix that should happen very often. They were stubborn and hardheaded, but that could in no way compete with the torrent of negative emotions that wracked their brains, thoughts, and memories. They were a twisted pair. It was odd to even think about. Pair. That she had shared that deeply with him and him likewise. The saiyan she had hated and wanted dead not that long ago was here with her now to help save and protect her. She didn’t feel complete comfort by it but... it was something. The Kagami didn’t know what to say to his matter of fact answer. Like him coming to ‘rescue’ her was obvious. She... hadn’t thought it obvious of a saiyan. Or even most people. Who would have delved into a mind of another, stayed there, and forced them out with the need to protect them? Durian couldn’t imagine many. That either made Levlidian a much greater being than her, or... well. Maybe he cared more about her specifically that she realized. He had mentioned it a few times upon Kazar’s ship, though she assumed they were taunts. Complimenting her features, even with his sarcasm, sharing his weaknesses, trusting her... Maybe it was all taunts in that game of hatred she had played during the time. It was too complicated for her to try and merge the then and now. They were like different beings. The woman still wasn’t sure what to say. Her normal angry or irritated quips to try and tear him down weren’t there. He was being kind. He was opening up. Durian didn’t want to stifle that but she had lost her ability to be comforting or motherly or caring... At least in a very obvious way. When he would say sad is good, and then that he preferred her this way, she didn’t know how to take it. He was being kind and then turned this on her. She had to be misunderstanding it, she normally tore into what he said knowing that it wasn’t what he meant. But this... what else did he mean by that? Exhaling slowly but deeply through her nose, it was a near silent sigh. She couldn’t hate him. Not after all of this. But she wasn’t really sure where they stood or what she should expect in their future. Her gaze would remain off of him after her little speech and question. He had spoken her goddess’ name. Said how it suited her. She supposed that was true. Mitra had gotten her through her whole time in slavery. Helped her to survive. To find comfort in her master. Slavery was not freedom, she shouldn’t downplay it. But... in the hands of the one who owned her, she was better off than a large number of other Kagami. She didn’t get to make her own decisions, but she was granted care, wasn’t beaten, and even shared in her master’s lessons. The movement that Levlidian had showed barely registered in Durian’s mind, only somewhat in her vision. She wasn’t focused on him completely. His words, yes. But she was thinking. What should she say? Should she say more? Or were they past sharing? He was still talking but was it due to her speaking in the first place? The words they shared some unwritten agreement to only go on as long as the other did? She would have kept looking towards that ceiling. Eyes off of him, but how he was speaking was drawing her attention. It wasn’t caring and light anymore now that it was turned onto him. This was what he wanted, that power, but for some reason he wasn’t completely happy about it. A bit concerned but also curious, her right brow would vaguely raise in questioning. Hm. He had gotten his memories and his future from their time mentally together. That was interesting. He saw his mother and it pushed him forward into that golden power he desired. “In some ways, all of that was of your own doing. In others, none of that power is yours to claim. Where you are is definitely upon your own history, actions, training, and choices. You got to this point because of who you are. But... Your mother bore you. She runs through your blood. So if you want to say that she is gifting her power to you, it’s likely also acceptable. I’d think about it however it makes you happiest. For neither is totally wrong nor right.” Her gaze had flickered off of him again in her small little addition. Her hands on her knees, lighting grasping. The near white, yet vaguely reflecting light in the strand of her hair would be hanging down in her face. She could see it. Her Kagami heritage, she saw it with the red eyes of her people that shown so easily now. But her gaze wouldn’t stay low for long. A warmth found her face again. His gloved hand, bare fingers brushing gently across her skin. It brought her eyes to him once more. And with what he spoke, there was more questioning in her expression. It was somewhat hidden, she didn’t want to ask further what he meant or intended, but this all was... very different. It was new. And she wasn’t even really sure who she was or how she should be reacting. The warmth would leave her face but she would continue to keep her eyes upon him. At least for a little. He was slumping back into the couch again, smirking and chuckling, hiding his face. He was cute and amusing, but it didn’t really calm her. How was she to deal with him in this state? She wouldn’t dare take it away from him, it was endearing. But... What does she do? With a short sigh, the Kagami would uncurl her legs from beneath her, then take her time in standing. Making sure her muscles didn’t give way beneath her, she’d offer a hand, moving more in front of him and leaning over. “Let’s get you to your room. You’re exhausted and you need rest.” If he would allow and assist her, she would help him to his feet and act as another source of balance. Keep him up and help stabilize him. “A step away from my past would cause me to be what you’ve fought so hard against. I’m beginning to regain my past and accept it. Or... try to accept it. There’s pain that I’m not sure I can ice without locking it away again.” Levlidian --------------------------------------------- NOTE - I currently have a mind reading tech to be approved. "Mm, that makes little sense to me, there's no logic to the way you described that-," Levlidian paused and peered down at his own chest, drumming his fingers in time with his own thoughts until he'd regard her again, "-But I get the meaning,". With that he'd gently smile and regard his paws with a propping of himself entirely to sit up yet slumped either way. His body was still skulking back, refraining him from true activation of will. Their conversation had evolved into one of true development, finally they saw one another as equals, even friends and despite everything that was uttered; Durian was relatively pleasant if still slightly solid towards him. It was understandable, for months now he had been battling his own emotional state trying to free himself of it, thusly he had become relatively adept at harnessing himself back into a sturdy state. However one need drew from deep within his blood, a fight was inherently required and yet he stemmed the need to acquire one at this very moment.
The entire management of the brute nature was a recent development, power wasn't his drive any longer or was it? Such things had become complicated, still he wanted revenge for what became of his family. Did it make much sense anymore, wasn't it his Father that instigated this entire development of vengeance? No, there was a source and it had to be wiped out, no one had seen this requirement he'd enveloped in his desire of strength. Now that he was a Super Saiyan, this goal had drawn much closer for him, even now he planned to begin perfecting it the moment he had some alone time, why though? Wasn't he supposed to push past these memories and succumb to the rage no longer? Hm, perhaps it was a deeper set of principals, something about the way he'd regard the SSE simply had his blood boil with irritation; they were abnormal and abhorrent- they deserved to be destroyed.
As these emotions flurried through the man, his brow sank in contemplation whilst his hands drummed the sides of his thighs, suddenly he'd come to and start looking upon Durian as she'd suggest taking him to his room. With a short smile Lev' would administer chuckle but say little more; "Shooing me off to bed beautiful?". levlidian didn't consider these words, he simply shook his head for the moment and sat back, courting his arms about his broad chest and cocking a brow, "perhaps I'm not prepared to go yet, I might enjoy our conversation, lest I sink back into a desire to fight once more, I won't dent I'd like to train but something about you is more interesting,". There it was, a flicker of male bravado. levlidian was feeling better it seemed but the bitterness that often occupied his eyes as he spoke seemed to be voided and replaced by a warm admiration.
The shared words between the pair drew a large sense of rest bite to lev', his energy gathered again and rising from the poise about the couch, with his arm draped about her shoulder and easing himself across the halls; the beast lead his accomplice to the door to which lead on to his room. It took him a moment or two but he managed to enter his room. The abode boasted a simple but quite large bed, a bar lay installed just above them from wall to wall and various training apparatus lay scattered a long side identical Gi's to the one he wore. It wasn't an easy endeavour but she managed to ease him onto the bed where he'd allow his hands to descend into his lap, a single obsidian orb watched his lap, pained by thoughts still pricking at his mind, Levlidian elaborated an exhalation before regarding Durian again. "Are you remaining or are you leaving?" he asked bluntly, cocking an eyebrow in curiosity. "If you're staying, I'll need to get your room sorted out. It's not been touched in weeks and I'm fairly sure it'll need some form of attention,"
Elaborating a stretch of his arms folding the limb across his chest and folding the other across the elbow; a crack burst into the room. Sighing again, it had become difficult to find a topic of interest and soon he was watching her eyes silently, adjusting his jaw and discerning himself another fact of matter to focus on he uttered; "We'll head for Namek in a few days, I'll need to repair what I've done here just to commit to being airborne," he chuckled. "I'm not even sure what the hull is like, I may need to pass to the North in order to get the right parts for the rebuild. Bah, I hope the Gravity chamber isn't damaged as well, maybe we could-," he paused and closed his eyes, the entire he'd spoken the beast was enticed by the presence she boasted and slowly his singular eye widened upon a realisation. Parting his lips to speak and canting his head to the side, flurries of considered actions advanced on him but he rose instead and granted Durian a soft embrace; without another word placing his lips to the flesh before her ear and simply remaining where he was. "Odd how shit works," he muttered to her ear.

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY There was a little bit of frustration at his answer. Was she wrong? Or was he too dense to understand? Exhaling through her nose once again, sighing, she’d let it go. It was unimportant in the scheme of things and she was really only trying to keep him cheered. There was no point in being aggravated by it, she merely failed. Well, she thought she did. Until he spoke again and offered a smile. He was.. peculiar. She should get him to his room. He was ragged and needed rest. Plus it was sort of a distraction for her. Things had changed so drastically in such a short time between them that she felt uncomfortable. Uncomfortable in an oddly soothing and relaxed way? She was familiar with him, had grown to know him over their time together on earth. But that knowing had shifted from hatred to even a form of like and acceptance. Things were so different and it merely caused the Kagami to be uncertain, confused, and a bit afraid. She was terrified of losing him, but the realization that was so was even more unsettling. When had he become essential and important? He had been lost in his little world. Her offering help and being in front of him to assist him up. He’d smirk and chuckle at her, that joking and amusement she had seen few times since they met. It caused her a bit of joy, when he was jovial. Though the back of her thought reminded her that this was how he had treated Kazar, aloof and joyous. Hiding his pain, was it? “Even Super Saiyans need their rest.” She countered almost challengingly, the slightest bit of a smirk clinging to her own features as she’d try to usher him up. He spoke about her being interesting. Her being a distraction from his need to fight. Rolling her eyes and her smirk widening just a tiny bit, she’d grab for an arm and more aggressively encourage him to help her. “Come on, smoothtalker” She’d sarcastically tease, finally getting his cooperation. He stood and put an arm over her. He was thicker than her. Heavier, even if he was just slightly shorter. There was muscle to him even though he wasn’t completely bulky. They worked together to get to his room. Durian having to pause and have him give her direction once. She had been a little... out of it when he had led her into the room they just left. They got to where they needed, the female looking around to see just what exactly he called his ‘home.’ However loose that word and meaning was to him, she didn’t really know. It fit him. Training equipment. Simple bed. Pretty simple room. With the goal of getting stronger evident, it fit him. Getting him to the bed, trying to ease him down and doing so somewhat successfully. He sat hands in his lap she stood. Rolling her shoulders back now that they were free of weight. She had planned to bid him goodnight and then leave him to his own devices. The Kagami assumed he would go to sleep once she wasn’t around to impress. But his question threw her slightly off guard. There was only a moment’s hesitation, the female’s mind spinning as she looked at the man sitting before her. “I guess I could sta-“ Her words were barely cut off by his elaboration. The uneasiness had settled in once again, her hands finding their way into her pockets as her gaze danced off of him. She had misunderstood. He wasn’t requesting her presence with him at this moment, he was asking in general about on the ship. “I’m sure I’ll manage for one night. I’ve slept in the sandy deserts at night, your ship can’t test my limits.” She didn’t return her gaze to him yet, distracting herself by his variety of equipment and strewn about gis. It wasn’t until the crack of his stretching limbs that her attention would snap back to him. Her own misunderstanding had thrown her off and left them in silence. She felt a little bad, but also had been preoccupied with her thoughts and distracting herself from him. What she should have done was walk out. His words came to her ears about Namek. She’d slowly nod. She’d accompany him. She wanted to. “I’ll help however I can. I am not great with mechanics or technology, but if I can assist then please ask for me.” Durian wanted to be helpful, it was only fair. Well.. even then it wasn’t fair. He opened his home, his ship, and himself to her. All she did was remain. He would cut himself off when talking about his gravity chamber and them, his eyes closing and she wondered if he was okay. Hands coming out of her pockets, she’d take a step closer and prepare to ask the simple question, only to find herself in his arms. The Kagami froze for a moment. He had been sitting there and she wondered if something was wrong. Now she had the man’s arms around her, holding her and hugging her body to his. Hesitantly, she’d bring her arms around him too. A soft kiss was placed on her skin. Not quite the cheek, but close to her ear. She felt her heart race, almost like when she was afraid. It wasn’t as sickening as that, but her blood was pumping and she didn’t know what to do. Why all of the sudden was he up and holding her? Odd how shit works. That was a weird thing to say.... What was working exactly? Just her being full of hate to hugging him back? This Saiyan... He had been exhausted and couldn’t even lift himself from the floor right away. Had leaned on her to get to his room. Now he was jumping to his feet. Sighing with a slightly amused smile to her lips, she’d pull back gently from his embrace, letting her hands slide from his back to the side of his body. “If you rest now, we can talk more later. About where we’re going, how we’re going to get there, all of it. I’ll be staying with you. Gain back your strength and you can fight against me. Test me and train me. You wanted to try your hand against me since the first day we met.” A small and encouraging smile accompanied the last bit of her words. “But that means rest now.” There was a bit of hesitation. Like she had more to say, but she didn’t know if she should. If it was out of line or even insulting. Her assumptions could be misplaced. Things were so confusing as of late. “I realize I misunderstood you before. But if it would get you to rest, I’ll stay with you until you do.” It was an odd offering even for her. She was trying to make sense of him getting up so suddenly and embracing her. Kissing her. Was it just how he was? Did he want her near? Was he afraid to be left alone? Or was she merely overthinking everything into oblivion. Rest would do her well too at this point. Levlidian released her, the lack of reaction saw the young Saiyan simply applied his rear upon the bed and glanced for the door, his brow sinking in part to the way she spoke, the words used. To him it felt as though he was receiving a mothering, in honesty he wasn't even sure what he was doing and with that he'd lean back unto his bed regarding Durian with a neutral expression, pleasant, though in secret he contemplated how he felt about the notion it appeared she took. "You don't need to watch me fall asleep," he said calmly, should he be insulted by this? Honestly his pride reared it's ugly head defining his mind to do as he suspected, yet, he simply peered to the ridge of his thigh and uttered; "Alright, I'll go about getting some rest. Feel free to wander wher eyou can, though i'd suggest you remain out of the cockpit for now,". A short smile formed in amusement to the idea of his trashing it, it was an obvious development that a ship couldn't withstand a Super Saiyan's power.
"I think I misunderstood you as well, S'a failure on both parts really, we'll do better now I'm sure," this was confusing, his mind reeled and his form seemed to retract. In an odd sensation, the young Saiyan would feel loomed over and long for the institution of a lonesome existence again yet, did he want that or was he simply just that used to being on his own. His attraction wasn't working as the young Saiyan had always envisioned it, part of him wanted to say more where as, the other wanted to simply train the emotions into denial. From the way this situation was growing with awkwardness, the way the two of them acted and tread as though upon eggshells; he could deduce something similar obscured this Kagami. "I'm sorry, this is new," he muttered bluntly choosing a path he'd seldom evaded, to be honest. Slowly he drew his legs upwards ontpo the hard mattress and lay back closing his single eye whilst simultaneously folding his arms behind the rear of his crown.
"I'm not sure how to approach this new development-" he continued and parted his living eye to gaze at her, "I'm not sure whether being inside your mind has granted me a new insight or blurred my own. Being so close to you, I'm drawn to act as I've never considered. You're a confusing woman, even inside your mind but what ever this bond is-," he paused and offered a short smile, "-It's confusing, I'm not sure if I'm attracted to you or whether my body is still confused,". Granting her a laugh of amusement at how foolish he sounded; Levlidian lowered his arms and applied a gentle grasp to her wrist. "You should rest too though, the endeavour was taxing on both of us in the end,". With a nod, the beast would seek guide her eyes to the door. "There's another oom next door, use it, tomorrow we can always converse over what we're going to endeavour on whilst we venture to Namek,"
He didn't want to let go, an odd sensation to say the least but he does free his grasp from her, an odd distance descends as he temps himself onto his side diverting attention to the far wall. This was entirely dangerous, for him, with the plans he still sought was it wise to make such a close knit friend of a woman who'd finally begun her recovery? In the memories she'd shared, Durian had suffered enough as it was and the young Saiyan knew his blood would soon lead him into a fight he wasn't entirely sure he was walking away from. Bravado and confidence could only dictate so much, for logic stated that once he'd executed the leaders; a price would fall upon the beasts head. With death being as fleeting as it was, even then they'd likely return on a never ending cycle to draw blood in exacted revenge. Levlidian's knuckles clench and he sneered into his pillow, even as he had dedicated so much time and his pride held him to this path; he couldn't eradicate that nagging feeling in his gut.
"Durian-," he uttered, uncertainly, "-Is it worth me following my plan?". For some reaosn he found himself seeking council of this aching soul, if anyone could speak plainly it was the blunt Kagami. "Should I actually go ahead and destroy the Solar Empire, or should I with hold myself? I'm not so sure anymore," turning his head in part, his chocolate mane settling gently about the length of his brow. "Answer me this question, and then lets get some rest. I just need to know what I want to do is either just stupid, or perhaps the only means to find the end we're seeking. If i do, I'm well aware it may lead to my death and-," he paused, adjusting his jaw and tilting his head away again; "-it only feels half right to do now. I'm confused. I don't know what to do anymore and it's irritating,"
the entire means to his existence rode aside him as only a fractured, half of a picture, his mind drew back to the moments with that Demon. The points she'd drawn up, the way he saw himself in that detestable monster and the anger he could coax out of him. Would a fight like the one he headed for change him? More than likely, still, there in that bedroom he was about to choose a path to wander down. part of him hoped, truly hoped, if he chose the fight that Durian wouldn't follow. Did that make him a hypocrite after all he'd requested todayor did it in actual fact prove the old Durian right; he really was nothing short of a Saiyan and the bad sort at that.

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY He let her go. Durian wasn’t sure if she should be relieved or upset by this. He sat back upon the bed and her red eyes would watch him cautiously. It’s what she wanted, him to rest. Or at least... what she said she wanted. They were both confused, though she wasn’t really sure that Levlidian was. “I didn’t say I needed to.” Her snap back was immediate. Like somehow she had been insulted. The woman had felt unsure in offering in the first place, and to have it spit back in her face had aggravated a nerve. She was trying to do what she could for him even if she didn’t know how. Maybe it had been a wrong choice. He didn’t want her there. Eyes traveling to the door and she took her gaze off of him. It wasn’t far. It wasn’t like she needed to escape him because he’d let her go. She could hear him speaking. Directing her to where her room was and that she shouldn’t go to the cockpit. But the misunderstanding on his part.... What did he mean? Taking her time in returning her gaze to him, she’d raise a brow as if to ask, but no words would come. What had she done that had confused him? Where did he make a mistake? Somewhere she had missed something and she really wanted to know what it was. But... How. How does one acquire goals when they know no way to get there? I’m sorry, this is new. It was like he was speaking for her. Sighing, she gave a nod and a small smile. She might have answered, but he kept talking. He did have quite a set of vocal chords on him. He was just as lost as her. If they felt connected because of what had occurred or from fear or whatever excuse could be had. If it was just their minds dealing with the situation or if their time together had meant something. At least... that’s what Durian had gotten from it. She was possibly twisting his words to fit her own thought process. He would admit there was some sort of energy drawing them to one another. He’d grasp her wrist and she’d unconsciously take a step closer to him and his bed on which he rested. Then... he’d dismiss her. There was a weak flash of confusion on her face, a blink as if she hadn’t heard him right, and then following his gaze to the door. Still trying to comprehend it, he’d release her wrist. The warmth of contact leaving her skin and dulling slowly until she was once again cold and embraced by nothing but air. Slowly nodding, she’d give in. It had been a heck of a day. “We should both rest.” She quietly agreed, taking a few steps towards the door. They could speak tomorrow. They had time to figure out what they were doing, who they were and what their pla- Her name. Glancing over her shoulder, the red eyes of the kagami would focus once again upon the saiyan. He asked her a question she didn’t understand at first. His plan? And then he would try to clear it up. More questions after questions would be asked of her. Some of them... she hadn’t even known his full plans. Or his totally reasonings. Sighing, the woman would have a slight smile on her face once again. “You’re extremely confusing.” She spoke clearly but not overly loud, like she was amused and frustrated with him at the same time. Instead of heading for the door, she’d turn. Moving along the bottom of his bed. In doing so, she removed the mask that was hanging loosely around her neck. Then her jacket. Laying them gently over a piece of equipment along the wall, she’d begin unbuttoning that white shirt she almost always seemed to wear. Beneath were merely bandages, ones that held her secure and pressed close. From above her breasts and falling below her pantline, it was almost a makeshift shirt. Almost. Kicking her boots off would be the last step as she spoke to him. “If you can’t shut up long enough for me to leave, are you actually going to rest in my absence or let thoughts torment you?” The question was spoken softly, but she felt she knew the answer. She was testing her movements somewhat, but she still moved with purpose. Onto his bed beside him, her back to the wall and her front towards him. She laid on her side. It was obvious in her expression that she wasn’t sure as to what she was going to say next, nor if she actually had advice to give. “I don’t know who you want to be. Or what’s important to you. Is it more important to make sure that the Solar Empire is destroyed? Do you have anything else you need to hold back for?” Reaching out to him with a hand, she’d only go part way and then remain. Waiting for him to return the contact if he wished, or let her stay. “I thought that’s what Namek was for. Finding our way. Why do you need to know right at this moment?” Levlidian --------------------------------------------- NOTE - I currently have a mind reading tech to be approved. "I know, it's why I rarely share my mind with others," came the young Saiyan's amused response, despite himself he could hardly ignore the lacking of any real irritation in the Kagami's voice. To his ears she sounded merely amused, perhaps annoyed by his fluctuating decisions. In truth he could barely rectify his own thoughts, speaking them often allowed him to clarify the wrongs within his own thought processes. A sly grin elaborated as he listened to the way Durian corrected these problems, at least she was taking it in good spirit. The sound of her boots leading her back to the placement at the head of his bed soon saw Levlidian peering down to her figure. His singular obsidian eye reduced to a slit as the silence fell, was she undressing for- Lev's jaw drew taught and slowly Durian drew level with him lying upon her side not inches from him and she was uttering something he barely comprehended until his mind caught up.
"Uh-," the focus was on her eyes, his mind struggled for a few moments whilst comprehending the manoeuvres she'd undertaken, "-They'll probably plague me, my thoughts, they always do. I over think, over prepare, it's a flaw of mine,". A sheepish smile enveloped the beasts visage and his eye averted to regard her extending palm. Slowly his hand would rise to thread his own fingers between hers, the warmth of his palm grasped to hers whilst his thumb addressed the side of said palm almost examining her flesh. It had been clear that these words shared weren't entirely planned and he'd sigh seeking inch closer and lower their hands to rest on the bed. One hand fed beneath his crown and cupped the side and back to support him whilst he gazed at her finger tips. His fingerless gloves encompassed half the warmth of the hand and thus he'd free the hand for mere moments, removed the glove, then re position his entire hand upon hers to uptake the same position. Scars littered the hand, his tanned flesh a stark contrast to hers.
"It is- No, it was important to me. I blamed them for how my Father acted, for how my brother hated me. I wasn't entirely sure why but it was easier than accepting it was because they blamed me for my Mother," A flash of his Father's face saw him grimace thus his fingers tightened. "Now I see it, it wasn't down to the Warmongers, still I wanted to fight them still even knowing it wasn't what I wanted. Suddenly i find myself completely against the idea,". The Saiyan refused to make eye contact, instead he stared at his scars, her skin, the matted bedding beneath them. "You showed me what happens when someone like me-," a small chuckle followed, "You're the reason I don't want to. I hold back because I don't want you to follow me into the jaws of war just to sate my vengeance. I think, I think I'm going to let it go," he fell silent.
The silence drew on whilst he lay there, fidgeting due to his unease, unveiling his tongue and drawing it irritably across his lower lip, he'd then regard her red eyes with his black. "I'm still a warrior at heart, but you're right, maybe Namek will boast some better ideas of what we can do. I'm just unused to having no plan, to going in without a fair idea of what could happen,". Freeing her hand from his grasp he'd avert to fall on to his back, tugging the front of his Gi free and exposing his horrendously scarred form to gain some air. Scars littered his chest, his abdomen and the marking of SSE sat about the lower abdomen whilst two tattoos sat upon the opposite side of the abdomen and his chest. Built like a typical martial artist, lean and powerful he'd turn his head to her and betray a broad smile. "Seems two bodies generate more heat together than I remember," another chuckle came but his attention soon fell on the ceiling.
Silence came again, the young Saiyan lay beside a Kagami and barely peered to her whilst he'd simply listen to the softness of her breathing, the creaking of the metal about them and the owls on the outside. When did it become evening? It was always odd how these pair occupied the same space and time seemed to ebb away, but when they drew to Namek, Lev' planned to learn the culture. if he was able to do this, perhaps he could learn a spiritual notion to controlling himself again, meditation was beginning to lose its effectiveness or perhaps he began to lose belief in it's effectiveness. It was hard to tell, everything was a jumble but it seemed some parts were realigning with their past collaborations. It had sounded to the Saiyan that Durian was equally confused, in fact she'd seemed saddened for a brief moment by the way he'd spoken, his jaw drew taught at the thought.
Slowly his eye drew to Durian, a wondering gaze as he'd reach with his hand to tempt her cheek with a finger tip, at first it was to allure a glance if she wasn't watching. Then the beast arose to his elbow and his hand would seek settle entirely across her cheek, a tender touch from rough fingers built for war. Leaning upon himself he'd simply lean across to the Kagami allowing his chocolate mane to descend like a curtain over his dead, milky eye. What use was the thing anyway, truly. Slowly his fingers sought the corner of her lips and instead of a beast, a man reflected in the eyes of Levlidian. The walls came down and he'd seek place a very simple, gentle and brief kiss upon the woman's lips before retracting to mere moments from her nose with his own; "Instinct," he muttered with an amused tune, "Maybe I listen to it far too often,"

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY Durian had noticed him watching her, following her movements. This was moreso due to the fact that she wanted to make sure he still wanted her there. If she would have caught a hint of him disapproving of her actions, she would have left. She very much didn’t want to be where she wasn’t welcome. The Kagami didn’t want to misunderstand again. But he made no remark and no scowl. He merely watched. The Saiyan still kept his eye on her when she placed herself upon his bed. She was near him. Her side upon the bed; it was hard but nowhere comparable to the ground. Solid and comfortable, and amusingly enough she thought of Levlidian with that description. He was most definitely solidly built and today she realized she could be somewhat comfortable with him. Her presence threw him off and the woman would silently hope this isn’t where he told her to leave. After the time she took to be in this spot, it would certainly be an awkward walk of shame to backtrack. A discarded slave returning to duty elsewhere. Durian would purge the thought from her mind when he would answer her. One hand stretched out towards him, the other arm up, cradling her head against her bicep and relaxing outstretched across the fabrics. She’d listen to the answer that she had assumed to be correct. He would have tortured himself mentally after she left. While he had his eye upon her hand, she’d be watching the man’s expression. Their hands touched thanks to him, receiving her gesture and intertwining their fingers. Gently wrapping her fingers over his hand and grazing his glove, she’d hold loosely to him. The Kagami wanted him to know that she was there and willing to stay. He kept the contact, running his thumb over her bare skin and then wresting their hands upon the bed. He studied the simpleness of her hand for a long while. And at one moment got fed up with the separation between them that he discarded it. His held more scars and stories than hers. She was mostly unmarred. Light healing still took place upon her face from where Hinawa had blasted her with flames. But otherwise... Durian was mostly untouched. Surprisingly pure pale skin that stretched elegantly over the female’s body and hands included. Her eyes were now on his hand as he rejoined her in contact. The differences between them were so great even in the smallest thing. Their hands, one pure and one very scarred. One light and one dark. One obviously more powerful than the other. Then Levlidian would begin to speak again. Answering the questions she had posed. This was his answer to find, not hers. He knew himself and his reasons. If he felt it necessary to continue on, she wouldn’t be able to dissuade him with mere words. She felt his grip tighten and she’d momentarily squeeze his hand in return. She was still there. The question formed in her mind but she waited to ask it. Levlidian had a way of speaking for a long while to expand his thoughts. She’d wait. But... why didn’t he want to anymore. Running a thumb gently over his knuckles, she’d watch his expression once again. Caring and listening. She honestly wanted to help him however she could. Right now, this was the only reason she had to exist. His explanation to the unasked question would be near shocking. The surprise clear as day on the female’s face and the thumb over his skin would instantly stop. He was going to let it go because he worried about her? That was confusing as well. They had always gone after their goals and not worried about one another. Yet after today everything was skewed. She lost her goals and purpose. And here Levlidian was giving up his. Was it from guilt? Did he feel responsible for her now? Or was this a rational decision due to their minds tormenting one another? When he’d finally look back to her, he would only find confusion and concern. The Kagami worried that she was a weight. And with that worry came him drawing away from her. She hadn’t said anything further and maybe that disappointed him. As he turned onto his back, he’d let his gi open up. More of his skin bare to her eyes and showing tattoos and marks she may have only vaguely recognized from their memories. Being so close in the first place, she didn’t feel the need to get closer to him, but she did reach out once again. Making sure the cloth was out of her visual line, Durian’s hands would trace over his marks. A scar. She didn’t remember looking at this. Her touch was mostly gentle, though a little intrusive. She was inspecting him and looking him over. Calculating eyes but her curiosity was at bay. She had seen some of the strikes that caused the damage on his body. He’d make a light joke and Durian would respond. Her words somewhat distracted as she continued to trace his markings with her fingers. “I haven’t lain close to another since I was owned.” It was absentmindedly spoken. There wasn’t hurt in it not aggression. It was like she was stating a fact as much as he had been about body heat. Then silence would envelop them. She didn’t feel uncomfortable. In fact... she started to even become a bit drowsy. The man with her was relaxed and quiet. She lay near him absorbing his warmth and being drawn in by the stillness of the room. The quiet sounds and the soothing that came with company one could trust. Her hand ceased its exploration, remaining upon his skin but off centered on his abdomen. In truth, she was no longer watching him. She had been looking over his bodily scars and marks. When she was no longer inspecting, she was more blankly observing his chest move up and down with the slow rhythm of breath. So when his finger would greet her cheek, she would be glad to find his gaze upon her. One dark eye looking to her two red, she still kept her head rested upon her one arm. He’d raise himself. Perching upon one elbow as he took her face in his hand. The warmth of his bare skin even if it was lined with past damage. He was inviting and comforting. But why the touch out of nowhere? He leaned closer to her, his form not towering above her, but gaining a slight height advantage with her nearly pressed to his bed, she’d raise her own head just slightly. She wanted to ask what, but was granted an idea from the way he was looking at her. He crossed the remaining distance, meeting the woman for a brief yet returned kiss. He was gone as soon as he had arrived, at least in terms of the peck upon her lips. But he wasn’t truly gone. His nose barely touched hers and she could still feel his breath upon her skin. Her hand had moved from his abdomen to his side, granting him his advance towards her and holding him lightly as if to keep him near. He spoke, his eye still upon her and that joyous tone that he had adopted recently. A light smile would grace the female’s lips but her eyes were searching. Flittering across his expression as if trying to clue together some riddle. “Instinct is varied by its species and race. While a bird has instinct to build a nest, the snake steals burrows from mice. What... does yours tell you?” She was searching for some more solid answer. Instinct was a fleeting excuse. Something that worried her in this closeness with him. She didn’t want to be drawn in if it might tempt his need for dominance and power. Durian wouldn’t be able to handle that. “If instinct would cause you to flee me or own me, I can’t fuel it. You’re the only thing that’s keeping me from turning back to hate. I can’t lose this man before me.” Levlidian --------------------------------------------- NOTE - I currently have a mind reading tech to be approved. It was an interesting set of events, here lay two souls who once exchanged hate over facts and thoughts drawn from a war that wasn't entirely their own, so it turned out Mammon had been on to something. much like the school yard, two that claimed hate held emotions far deeper, yet such a thing made little sense. Perhaps it was truly the tale that one with the capacity to hate so intensely was at threat for toppling the opposite way. A frail line, after all, stood between the aspects of either notion and it seemed a Saiyan and Kagami had become the latest vicims to this psychological quandary. For Levlidian watched Durian with the muse of a Wolf observing one who he truly cared for, eyes drawn to slits and an more or less amused inspection of the eyes that read his story.
The way her fingers had drifted across his tapestry like form had drawn Levlidian into the lull of comfort, strangely he wasn't at all enticed to revoke her, he didn't feel the betrayal of retraction; it simple was what it was. from his lips drew a silent sigh at the acceptance of it, even has the time drew past leading to their inherited kiss, she'd taken him up on the acceptance and again he kissed her lower lips between elaborations. "My instinct is my desire-," his lips curl softly and in a very unlike his normal self, "-I am a Saiyan, romance doesn't usually come a long side how we are," with a sinking brow he'd draw his eye down and about her complexion, the length of her mane soon saw a finger of his lure it aside to regard her eyes openly. "However, you seem to coax rarities out of me daily, my desire seems to be to stay with you. I don't want claim, I just want to be,". Even to the young Saiyan, his words made very little sense but in retrospect, this situation had him almost entirely swallowed and his mind began to cloud until all he could see was a sunrise.
"The man you see is one of two- there's something else in me. Though for once, we both agree you're what we need," such romance was spilling from his lips, a notion he never knew he could even follow. For so many years he'd feared it was too late, that what made a Saiyan had taken him by the ankle, that logical mind was to be forever swallowed and driven mad by a lust far deeper than anything else. His world had just 'kept twisting, perverting the sense of justice carried in the wake of every stride. Men and women laughing, seeing beyond the black and white and claiming heretical knowledge of a world coloured grey. Struggling for years, all he desired was some form of control over the rage and the agony that polluted him; in this moment his heart beat in time with another and there was calm. Drawing free of her, the beast freed his Gi and tossed the length of it down and lay upon his back.
"I can't lose the woman you are now, so forgive me any transgressions of anger, if it involves your safety," he chuckled and betrayed a stout yawn, still, he enjoyed the fact he felt so at ease. It had turned out she too was confused, such a thing became less so obvious the more he'd spoken before and worry had been one flash he's seen paint her. "If you want me to stop fighting all together, I can try," he suddenly announced, "I can't promise I won't if you manage to stumble into trouble,". A meek shrug followed but he'd not seem to try much more in the way of furthering their intimacy. A paranoia had settled in his eyes, that she'd expect him to act a way she'd grown with. Thus with physical restriction in mind he'd seperated but only in part, to grant a time for the emotions to process; for both of them.
"I think it's time we got some sleep," he uttered in a weakened tone, tiredness was encompassing him now that the tension in his bones had eased. Feeding a hand upwards to find her complexion again whilst the other fed beneath his pillow. Exhaustion lay in the singular obsidian orb which slowly drifted closed, his smile fading into a frown of wonder as any would wear. Exhaustion had stolen him and into the depths of his mind did the Saiyan plummet. With a gentle rise and fall of his chest, it was an obvious observation to say he had fallen into slumber; a sign that this young Wolf was at peace and that the threat that once fed from Durian was no longer a concern to him. His hand fell from her complexion, yet in a twist, the other had found her hand, where it intertwined once again.

I WILL SHUT THE WORLD AWAY Her acceptance of him granted her further caresses from his lips. He was warm and inviting, the kagami felt absolutely no need to pull away from him. There were very many desires to draw to him. But... there was enough sense in the female to try and put a slow moving on it. The day had been long and taxing, emotional changes and shifts had taken place. They could both be searching for temporary comfort until they found their own way to cope. It scared her. Somewhere in the back of her mind she was afraid. Yet... she couldn’t bring herself to leave him. Her hand resting and lightly pulling at his side, marred by damage given to him by others, it was just another part of him he was sharing with her. Just as his thoughts had been and now his words were. He was trying so hard to be truthful with her and to show how he felt. The kagami would listen and try to pass over her usual judgmental thoughts. Not tearing apart what he said, but listening and trusting in him. Two in one needing her. She couldn’t say she fully understood, but she wanted to know. Durian wanted to hear the will of his heart and blood. The fingers upon his side would gently trace patterns into his skin. A soft touch over his flesh to soothe herself in being close to him but also remind him that they were connected in these few hours. Their closeness would be interrupted briefly. His hand leaving her face and the hope of another brushing of his lips upon hers would be severed. He rose and thrust his gi to the ground, returning to the rest on the bed but no longer facing her. Though she let her hand leave him while he moved, she’d return it to his stomach once he settled again. He repositioned as did she. Closer. So much so that if he turned they would have been touching from nose to thigh, though there was just a hair of space if he remained on his back. She had nestled herself close, his arm would fall beneath her neck if he so allowed her to lay on him, still turned towards him and gaze lightly focused upon the saiyan that never stopped speaking. “Fighting is a part of you.” She spoke softly. There were plenty of people who liked competition. To pit themselves against someone in an area they knew they were good at. Levlidian enjoyed fighting. He excelled at it. To stop fighting simply because of her made little sense in her mind, at least... her mind now. Before she would have chastised him all day long about his need for battle. Taking in a deep breath with slow care, she’d let her eyes flutter closed. “Beast of Protection. Just like I said.” The woman teased him quietly, a soft smirk encompassing her lips as she remained close to him. The man’s bare skin was just out of reach of the position of her body, though her hand remained upon his stomach. The warmth was intoxicating and the calming evenness of his breathing as he’d begin to drift off would lull her as well. A terrifying and confusing day was drawing to a close with as much a surprising ending as anyone could have imagined. His one arm beneath her, the other hand taking hers. She’d lace her fingers with his as he joined her, the grip of both of them loosening as they faded off. Their adventure awaited another day.
