One after another, hands shot skyward. A few overly excited individuals bounced eagerly on the spot, tossing waves towards the stage in an attempt to capture the Saiyan siren’s attentions. She had to admit, the turnaround was surprising. Dark eyes counted well over three dozen raised paws. Some were likely attracted to the idea of sharing a stage with a partly famous name, though she suspected a few were being challenged or otherwise ‘volunteered’ by their friends. Nonetheless, she picked people out without much concern for what drove them. This was show business at its finest!
The first couple of folk were lucky front rowers – the diehard fans that had stuck with her through all the chaos. Their carefree attitudes were welcome. The next she picked from further back, pointing a finger and making a ‘come hither’ gesture to. Whoever it was seemed to have little trouble wading through the crowd, perhaps out of the audience’s respect for Endivia’s choices.
Next up shall be–? Before she could even finalise her decision, one plucky volunteer had made his move. Out from the masses came a somewhat beefy, masked man, demonstrating nothing short of superhuman capability. Quite boldly, the gentleman had taken the stage in a way that only a flamboyant performer could, leaping like a dolphin from the sea of sardines and crashing down with certain energy about him. Frankly, Chicory was equal parts amused and bewildered, unable to withhold a smirk and a chuckle as the magnificently motivation man of masquerade let out an eager bellow.
“Alright! That’s the spirit,” she mimed his gesture. However, her clenched fist soon shifted to a pointed finger as she targeted her next choice – the owner of the tail she had spied just moments beforehand. Now able to get a read on whom the stray appendage belonged to, some spark of perhaps cruel cunning had been kindled. Those born on Vegeta were combatants, but here she was testing somebody’s inner pride (regardless of racial origins) in an unorthodox manner; that, and she was partially fond of the idea of not being the only one on stage with a tail.
“Now then, we’ve got some volunteers, but there’s one last thing I need to know before we get started,” the enigmatic entertainer announced, allowing the chosen six to take their pride of place in the line-up. There was more than enough space for the seven to do their thing, but room to manoeuvre was not the problem. There was one last choice the audience had to make; “I’ve got quite a few tracks prepped, but I want to know one last thing. So, ladies and gentlemen, pick a number between one and four and shout it out loud!”
I’ll leave the number picks to you guys (also leaving room for anyone else to hop in as potential dancers/audience members); I’m not saying what the numbers mean!

That was exactly the push the young saiyan needed to send him over the edge. With two people very openly challenging him, Edo felt a newfound courage, and he rushed his way towards the stage before leaping up, doing a flip as to not be out done by the brick house of a man that flew before him. He landed, only wincing slightly from the landing, as his left leg still had yet to fully recover. Still he threw Big Train a cocky grin, then brought his attention to the performer. He drew his gaze to her tail, giving his own a joyful almost puppy like wag. Despite the challenging stares, he felt surprisingly welcome on stage, and not only because he was called up.
Chicory then called for a number between one and four. The teen was not about to let himself jump on stage just to shrink into the crowd again, “Three!” he roared excitedly over the cheers. Even with the moon hours away, he felt as if the energy of the Oozaru was pumping through his veins. He even glanced up at the sky to make sure it was still day, though he knew full well he was not turning into a monkey anytime soon. Speaking of, the young teen found himself unable to take his eyes off of the performer, certainly she was pretty, and tailed saiyans on earth were surprisingly few and far between for the youth, bringing his gaze to the length of brown fur. "Do number three!" he shouted again, snapping himself out of his daze.

Big Train couldn’t help but be flattered when the pretty Saiyan noticed him and flashed his own signature fist pump back at him. Luckily he was wearing a mask (and brown) or else he would be visibly blushing. “Yeah...” Big Train mumbled to himself as he looked back at the crowd to see a fair share of stunned and/or impressed faces. This whole entertainment thing was eeeeasy! Or maybe he was just a natural. He should have took part in talent night back at the orphanage. But those days were long gone and Big Train was focused on the now. He grinned as Edoma made his own flashy entrance.
The kid had spunk, maybe they could train together later? Heck, maybe all three of them could. After all, Chicory herself seemed to be quite strong. The challenging- yet friendly stares between Edoma and Big Train would be disrupted by Chicory as she asked the crowd to pick a number between one and four. “Three!” Big Train shouted at precisely the same time as Edoma. What were the chances? The grin would be plastered back on Big Train’s face. However he was too busy having fun to notice what the general consensus with the crowd was, so either way it would be a surprise for him.

“Three it is,” Endivia beamed. In reality, any semblance of numerical system had been thrown to the wind. There was no sequence of difficulty, or of pace, to the melodies she had orchestrated in preparation for this moment. Rather, the Saiyan had simply selected four of what she personally deemed to be her most dramatic pieces and labelled them on a whim. In fact, it was really the audience – and apparently two of her back-up dancers’ decision as to what the number would mean. This next piece, she silently proclaimed, would be the third on her first recorded album.
“I’ve always thought that music is like an emotion – it’s something we can all share in, yet react to differently, in our own unique ways. So, let’s see how people react when they have the space to let the rhythm take them!” Chicory’s words were noticeably deep, perhaps in philosophy, but also in belief. Even as she spoke her mind and explained the matter to her cast of curious characters, the taupe-tailed traveller allowed her energy to flow, letting her feet leave the stage as she hovered a good three yards higher that the already raised platform stood.
“So, boys and girls,” she said energetically: “Show us how you can move!” Flicking her headset off, the Saiyan star’s fingers whistled through the air in a swift, certain motion. Already was Tohnari ready to receive and to call out; steely strings unleashed their cries, already tuned and balanced. The dramatic energy of the melody’s opening was accompanied not just by the audience’s appraisal, but also by a distinct flare of Ki that lit up the stage even in the daylight hours. A low rumbling key contrasted nicely with the higher, more suspenseful notes. Even airborne as she was, the musician felt her body moving to the rhythm, almost escaping her control. This song was like flying freely, breaking from restraints that had otherwise tied her down and made her life a misery. It was a veritable cocktail of sorrow, ecstasy, and perhaps even a little anticipation…

Edoma watched in confused amazement as the performer was not only brought higher by her stage, but by her own flight. He gave a worried glance to the audience waiting for their reaction. From his experiences, up north, he was already surprised they hadn’t booed her off stage just for having a tail, surely humans would change want nothing to do with a ki empowered saiyan singer. However, they loved it, and were not afraid to let their idol know. He smiled dryly, the small smile turning into a broad grin, relieved and honestly happy that not every human on this planet were a bunch of mindless creatures of hate.
So heeding the call of the singer, the teen began to dance, well sort of, he never actually danced before, at least not for real. His moves were slow, awkward, and disjointed. He must have looked ridiculous up there. He looked back up at Chicory, maybe he should let out a bit of energy too? Fly his way up as well. He decided against flying, figuring it would take away from the star, and shift the focus to his already laughable dance skills. Then he got an idea. Edo was no good at dancing, but he was plenty good at fighting, and he had heard many people compare the two. The young hybrid started fighting the air in front of him, only rather than rigid punches and kicks, they were more rhythmic and stylized. Sure the saiyan probably looked a little silly, but he was damn sure he looked better than before. The only thing stopping him now was the occasional twinge of pain in his left leg, however he found it easy to fight-dance through it, the energy of the crowd cheering everyone up on the stage. Edo then glanced at Big Train, wondering if he was a better dancer than himself.

(Sorry, I'm pretty busy and don't want to hold things up any longer)
Big Train took in the music, feeling its rhythm hit him in the chest and move throughout his body. Big Train always had a passion for music. Maybe he too would have been a musician if he didn't fall so head over heels for Martial Arts. The big man started off simple, just swaying and moving along to the beat of the song. But he slowly started to add more elaborate dance moves. The big man had some moves! It would be surprising to see a big man move the way he is. Well, unless you could read his power level, of course. After all, dancing and martial arts always shared very similar qualities. And both requires a great deal of timing and athleticism. The big man was stealing to show, though he wasn't trying to. He was just letting out what came naturally to him. Hell, he never even really danced in front of people before. Not seriously, at least. But there was something about Chicory's music, it was intoxicating. The kind of music that hits you in your soul.

The howls and cries of Tohnari resonated outwards – an energy that could make you shiver with excitement. Every string plucked by the performer’s fair hands was akin to an artist stroking his brush across a blank canvas. O, so impressionable were the people who flocked en mass to bear witness to such feats of dexterity and imagination as these, and it was that malleability of the mind and body which Chicory was witnessing first hand. The way the audience swayed to the rhythm as the chosen few, one by one, allowed the music to take control. It was a joy to watch; it was ecstasy to create.
What, am I hosting a Martial Arts tourney or something…? Endivia smirked mildly as she circled the stage. Amongst her unorthodox arrangement, one such soul had opted to make his dance all but elegant, yet still so refined and focused. Strength of body and of mind seemed to combine in time to the music as hands and feet forged energetic dance out of battle stance. Even she had to admit, as much as it displeased her to become a conduit to such things, the moves the youth was making had a certain power to them that made her want to see more.
Bigger they are, the harder they dance? Dark eyes glanced towards the man in masquerade. The Luchador’s spirit burned bright as the sun as he moved with such natural strength, provoking a sense of competitiveness within the guitarist. Somewhere inside, Endivia wanted to push these people to their limits. Alas, the people had spoken. Changing up the rhythm now in the midst of melody was neither honourable nor fair to the folk who had flocked to see her play. That and, while she would by no means admit it, the amount of energy she was pouring into this concert was starting to drain her a tad. Nonetheless, there was still plenty of fuel in the tank…
Life and muse have not been kind these last few weeks, so my apologies for the delays on this masterpiece of a thread! I don’t want to drag it on too much longer, so I think I’ll pull out something to wind down to on my next post ready for an exit on the round after. Is that okay with you guys?

BEHOLD THE HORRORS. ● ● ● ● THEY LURK BENEATH. THE SHADOWS OF REMORSE. YOU WOULDN'T KNOW OF COURSE. BUT I FORCE. A NEW JUDGMENT DAY. The Wolf Zoanthrope couldn't take it any longer, the moment the music started to reach a crescendo he began to dance, it wasn't awe-inspiring nor cool by nay means, but Samba couldn't really find it in himself to care about that anymore. With how the Galactic Patrol seemed to slowly move apart from each other now that Beryl wasn't there anymore, and with how there wasn't any sort of criminals or things to worry about as far as he was aware while on this planet; he figured that enjoying himself a bit shouldn't be too bad. So, he danced with the beat, he danced with the music and let the flow of the rhythm of notes led his steps. Many people side-eyed him for his goofy looking dance, but the Wolfman couldn't really find it in himself to give a damn about their looks, or their jeers or their laughter. He was having fun dancing like this, and that was all that mattered.
