PL: 4,200 Curling up in his bed, Tomo was shivering under his blankets. Outside rain was practically slamming against the tower as high-speed winds whipped around the construct. Do to whatever magic had been used to originally construct Tomo's Tower and the Lookout, none of the rains or winds entered into his room or anything; in fact it made for a rather strange sight seeing the rain stop halfway there as if hitting against some sort of intangible glass wall... but still the experience was terrifying. Cold from the temperature still pushed in by the whipping winds, the child huddled against his pillow while desperately trying to ignore the habitual thunder and lightning that struck every 30 minutes or so in a torrent.
"*sniff*Eeeeeh~" Tomoyo whimpered under his covers while desperately seeking solace. What he couldn't see couldn't hurt him right? ...but he could still hear it; the roaring of the torrential rains, the howling winds, the screaming thunder tearing through the air... Was it foolish to be scared of a thunder storm with his kind of abilities and powers?
"But it's still scary~" He whined to himself, feeling absolutely desolate without the company of another. Even Hazerru was absent, Tulip was in her forest, and he hadn't seen Tekuma for a week...

Tekuma was battling the rain to get to the lookout, a shield coating her body with magic to prevent her circuits from being fried by the rain. Her body gleamed with the multicolored aura, and the wind and rani almost blinded her field of vision. With a clang of metal on metal, she smacked into the Tower and went inside. Deactivating her magic aura, the girl picked up the whine from the little boy.
Silently slipping through the house, she'd get to the bedroom and knock quietly. "Tomoyo? I was meaning to come up sooner but I was busy with work.. Can I at least come in?" Her internal systems provided heat similar to the feeling of what it would be like to hug a regular person, except the young girl had completely gone robotic. She still bore the horns on her head and the flexible tail, albeit the horns curled upwards at the end.
Paralyzed in fear, Tomoyo felt like he heart had nearly leaped out of his chest when hearing the sudden and inexplicit knocking at the door. He had been so worried about his fear and the cold that the child had not even sensed the energy of whoever it was... but he couldn't sense even now...
Tomoyo? I was meaning to come up sooner but I was busy with work...
"...Teku?" Tomo slowly whispered under his covers. Slowly his head peeked out of the covers as the child inched off of his bed.
-only for Tomo to dart back under his blanket shelter as another flash of lightning spooked him as he retreated from the cracking thunder. "C-c-come in." Barely holding a crack up through the blankets for him to see, Tomo kept his eyes trained on the door and waited with bated breath for the android to walk through... maybe it was just the situation of it all, or how she just appeared from nowhere in the middle of a storm...

Tekuma opened the door once he told her to come in, and she shut the door and placed a small nightlight into the outlet that she materialized, bathing the room in a soft green glow. "Hey.. The storm getting to you?" She asked softly, moving to sit beside Tomo on the big bed. "I'm so sorry I haven't come up to see you more often. Can you forgive me little buddy?" She asked, the warm smile on her lips and soft jade green eyes hid behind her baby blue glasses.
She'd put her hand softly on his shoulder, looking at him with extremely gentle eyes. "Relax alright? If you get worked up it'll only get worse.." With that, she'd move to place a soundproof barrier over the walls, to prevent the booms of thunder from scaring her little brother any more than he was already terrified. There was no blood pumping in her body, as she was merely wire. She did produce her own warmth, however.
Peering under the covers, Tomo couldn't help but widen his eyes in the dark as he looked on at the silhouette of Tekuma in the doorway. She had the same shape as normal yet something still seemed off about it. Tomoyo just didn't know how to describe it, but for some reason he felt really uneasy, like he was seeing something but didn't know.
As the older android girl materialized a green nightlight before plugging it into the outlet, Tomo's eyes finally adjusted to the new lighting to spot Tekuma slowly making her way over to his bedside. Removing the covers from around him, the child couldn't help but sigh in ease at finally having his big sis back to protect him. She even made the loud noises from the storm go away somehow!
...so why did he still feel uneasy?
I'm so sorry I haven't come up to see you more often. Can you forgive me little buddy?
"Ya don't have to ask me, Teku!" He responded eagerly as he adjusted his position just slightly on the bed to allow room for Tekuma to sit down. "I love ya sis!" Cuddling up next to the girl while staring into her emerald eyes... Tomo felt weird still! Why did he feel like this even right next to Teku! He normally felt fine with her; what did he have to fear when he had his robo-sister to prote- Relax alright? If you get worked up it'll only get worse..
Eyes widening in horror, Tomo slowly began scanning his eyes over Tekuma's form... something wasn't right indeed. Both her arms were normal, both her eyes, everything wasn't half person-half robot! Leaning into Teku, Tomo tried his best to innocently hug his older sister before pushing his form into her. Pressing his body close against the older android's, Tomo felt the warmth comforting him and the familiar rhythmic tapping of her metal heart...which was what he wanted to say... but there was none.
No beat, no clank, no tapping. Only muffled silence. Pulling away his head to look into Tekuma's regular looking eyes, Tomo tried his best to not reveal how paranoid and scared he was feeling.
"Teku... Are you okay?" How could he possibly word this?!

Tekuma looked at her younger brother, they weren't related by blood but she still felt a desire to protect and care for him like a sister would. He was still as eager and innocent as ever, and it brought a small smile to her face once he cuddled next to her. Her emerald eyes were filled with warmth, only to have his eyes widen in horror once he scanned her, listening rather obviously for a heartbeat that wasn't there.
She knew he felt paranoid, and it hurt her to see him upset. "I'm fine, what would make you think otherwise?" She asked, slowly stroking his hair and looking at him, the small boy in her lap with the fluffy tail that tickled her leg even now, the girl wearing a white T-shirt with blue jean shorts and sneakers. "I got synthetic skin over my robot parts, and eyes that looked just like the ones I had before they were punched out." Pushing up her glasses with her spare hand, she chuckled. "Of course, means I need to wear my glasses again, but it's no big deal"
She was different. Why was she different? "Who did this to my sister!?" I'm fine, what would make you think otherwise?
"Your robo arm is gone!" Tomo hastily replied, trying to point out the pretty big and obvious points. Still though, it seemed like Tekuma had an answer for that too. "Your eyes!"
I got synthetic skin over my robot parts, and eyes that looked just like the ones I had before they were punched out
Trying desperately not to panic under the pressure, Tomoyo gulped down a load of air before trying to think about how to word this. This didn't make sense, even if they were just cosmetic things like that it still didn't make sense why it wasn't there. Holding up his hand slowly, his entire arm shaking uncontrollably while it hovered a few inches in front of his face, Tomo moved. Extending his arm foreward, the hybrid child slowly maneuvered his open palm closer and closer and closer and closer; with each breath and passing seconds the inches in the gap between the two closed until there was none. Tomo had his hand on Tekuma's chest.
"Teku, Where is it?" His eyes glowing under the dim light, Tomo cast his gaze upwards once more while trying to figure out just what was going on. Was this some sort of a dream? Was he asleep? What happened to his sister!?

Tekuma looked at Tomoyo, who seemed to be freaking out as he put his hand in front of her, shaking terribly and placing his hand on her chest. "Where is what? I'm right here.. What's wrong?" Her voice was gentle, almost hurt as he seemed completely terrified of her. Was this her destiny, trying to be normal but only scaring those she loved, being the cause of their demise, or them disliking her?
Closing her eyes, she'd stroke his hair slowly and smoothly, hoping to reassure the small boy. "It's going to be okay, I promise. I'm here for you, don't worry.. Why are you so scared?" A bit upset, she'd still try to reassure the small boy. Tilting her head to the side, her internal engines whirred silently in the background as the storm raged outside, leaving them to be there in the glow of the light, patting his back reassuringly.
Tomo didn't know. He didn't know he didn't know he didn't know! Shaking his head back and forth under Tekuma's soothing voice, Tomo tried his best to calm himself down. Maybe it was the storm, maybe he was just afraid, but he felt like something was wrong with his sister. Why didn't she have a heartbeat! People always had hearts unless they weren't people or they were dead!
Leaning his head into the girl's hands as they combed through his hair while stroking it, Tomo closed his eyes as his body began shivering more. Hugging Tekuma tight, the child squeezed his eyelids shut to try and just stop thinking; "I just want my sister~" Tomo finally whimpered, honest to goodness scared by how nothing made sense to him. The ambiance was just too cautious... I'm here for you, don't worry.. Why are you so scared?
"Teku, where's your heart?" Tomo finally asked, tears silently streaming down his face as his form heaved in convulsions trying to keep in the cries. "I'm scared Teku. I'm scared; where is it, Teku?"

Tekuma felt him lean into her hand that ran through his fluffy hair and speaking of how he wanted his sister. "I... I'm right here! I just got some internal upgrades is all.." She replied quietly, hugging him tightly to her. "Am.. I scaring you too much, should I leave?" Worried the female, looking right at her younger brother and holding him close. "I. I''ll leave if you want me to."
Water freely streaming down his face, Tomoyo clung on tighter at this suggestion. "NO! Don't go Teku!" Tomoyo screamed out loud now, not caring how loud he was sounding and even as his voice bounced across the quiet room. "I missed you! Please don't leave me alone!!!" Digging his face into Tekuma's body, Tomoyo's grip tightened as much as he could; the prospect of losing his new sister, even if she wasn't really her or a zombie was too much to bear at the moment in his vulnerable state.
"I'm scared sis! Please, what happened to you!" He screamed into her chest, not even trying to contain his emotions as Tomo's aura flared around him. The Saiyan hybrid had always had a problem with controlling his emotions, at times they would burst out and often times leave him hurting himself or others... but at this point none of that even mattered. The backlash of the ki would scatter some papers and unearth a shelf, but otherwise wouldn't affect the vastly stronger cyborg-turned-android. "Everyone keeps leaving! I don't want to lose you~"
Tomoyo would be an emotional wreck like this for quite a while, until he cried himself to sleep clutching Tekuma's form at full strength even after slipping off into slumber; the child's eyes swollen red and irritated dry from the constant flood of tears. Would the android try to remove herself, she would find the boy stirring ever so slightly before clinging on subconsciously just as hard until when he would awake hopefully the next morning.

Tomoyo let out a sharp cry, which immediately caused her to hug him tighter in response. "I had some adjustments done... I'm fine, I'm still here, and I will not EVER leave you." She replied quietly, hugging her little brother tightly and beginning to quietly hum a lullaby. Go to sleep.. You need to rest. I promise nothing will hurt you. She was speaking telepathically to him, humming her gentle, low lullaby and rocking him in her warm embrace.
Sure, she was an android. But emotions weren't felt by the heart, what emotions she did feel were within her soul. The soul within the body, which knew so much yet voiced so little about it. I love you little brother. She said quietly, rocking him and continuing to hum. You'll be just fine.... If you're ever in trouble, I'll be there in an instant to protect you. If I need to, I'll die for you.. You have nothing to worry about.
By the time Tomoyo had awakened, it was already well past early morning. Occasional drops of dew dripped down from the higher railings against the ground as the remnants of the previous day's freak storm... but evidence of other rain still remained dried on the child's face. Sitting up groggily, Tomoyo felt around partially blinded and his vision blurred with his eyelids nearly glued shut.
Rubbing his face repeatedly with a moist rag, Tomoyo was able to regain most of his sight albeit it was still slightly hazy as he looked back onto the bed to check if Tekuma was still there. Had she slept too? Did androids need to sleep? Had she even stayed or instead left when he wasn't there to plead with her..? Turning his face slowly to look, a bead of light filtered through the shaded window as the child looked on to see whether his sister had kept her promise...

Tekuma was sleeping on the sofa, in a standby mode as the sun hit her back and began to recharge her through solar power. The sun's energy was absorbed by her secret solar panels, and allowed her to slowly begin 'waking up'. Looking around groggily, she felt for her glasses and jabbed herself in the eye before putting them on right. "Kaio-damn it!" she spat, shaking her head before going to look for Tomoyo. "You there?"
At first fearing the Tekuma had indeed left him, Tomoyo was just about to collapse on his knees and start crying once more before hearing a voice that made him feel relieved beyond measure. You there?
Stumbling over to where the girl had emerged from, previously so still Tomoyo had not even taken notice, the Saiyan hybrid was quick to embrace his sister once more as he spread his arms out to Tekuma. "Teku." The kid uttered, visibly hesitant at first to speak his mind before his facial features sharpened ever so slightly, almost like he was resolving himself to continue.
Lifting his arms up as if asking for Tekuma to lift him up to her height, Tomoyo clenched at her garments before trying to put on as serious a face as he could. She called whatever was done to her "internal adjustments", right? "...Teku, please. Who did these adjus-adjuice... changes to you?" Tomoyo spoke out, stumbling over the word he wasn't familiar with while trying to figure out what happened without overreacting.
For once in his life, Tomoyo was being serious. He had to know.
