Tier 2 Shop Active.
Tekuma walked back into headquarters, gazing at her robotic arm blankly as she thought. Putting her other organic hand over it, she could feel the blood gently pumping through the organic parts, fueling her mind and power. I'm being held back.. These organic bits prevent me from achieving my full potential. My blood blinds me. My hormones mess with my judgement.
Clenching her robotic fists, she closed her eyes and looked back up. She was at her supervisor's office, and he was in. It was now or never, but if she did this she could never go back. Steeling her resolve, the cyborg tapped on the office door and was let in. She talked to him, begging him to transform her into a full android so she no longer looked like the freak she was.
Hours went by, Tekuma pleading her case in mutliple regards. There was a risk her supervisor would face ViPoi's wrath for not getting his approval, but he finally caved in and took her down to the room where she'd been converted to the state she was currently in. They laid her down on the table, scanning her body and bringing up pictures of what her body had looked like before the brutal murder at the hands of NOXA.
Putting her organic body into sleep mode through shutting down her cybernetics, they would begin to get to work. They had to be incredibly careful with her, considering moving her soul from one body to the other was incredibly dangerous and if her soul splinted it couldn't be retrieved. Very, very carefully, they began the process of transferring the fragile soul while the memory from her brain was stored on multiple hard drives.
Taking the hard drives out once the soul transfer was hopefully complete, they'd begin to reboot her after downloading the memory stored on the drive. While everyone did the work, Tekuma merely floated in a black abyss. Her thoughts echoed through the void, making her wonder if she should have done this. Regardless, she felt her soul being pulled back into the cold metal body once it booted up, and she took a breath without needing to.
Two jade green eyes opened on a bright light, which she covered with her hand and began to slowly sit up. She felt oddly disconnected, even more so with this body than her previous one, which was sitting on the table as a shell of a corpse. The doctors checked her over, giving her an okay to move around. The first thing she did, was touch the old body which was lifeless and cold. It sent a shiver down her spine to see the body she'd been born with right there, right in front of her, and she wasn't in it.
Looking at the wristbands, the black stones beset into them glimmered as some part of her wanted to leave them on the old body. "...." This... is so weird. My body's right in front of me, the flesh and blood with mechanical bits, and I'm in a completely new body.. The scientists and doctors left the room to come back later, and weirdly enough she felt taller... and stronger. Picking up the wristbands after unclipping them from the wrists of her old body, she'd strap them back on and leave the room.
Is this really the power she'd been looking for?
