It was the second day of Pocky's training in the Bamboo Forest. The first day had been solely time for Meditation and such, where as today was much more focused on her form. She stood silently in a clearing besides a pond, the occasional Grunt being heard from her as she went about, thrusting her arms forward. She was practicing her Palm Strikes, occasionally going so far as to stretch out the arm, to keep herself limber and ready. She had a feeling that today was going to be interesting. Something about the way the wind blew through the forest, and the sound the bamboo leaves made as they rustled. Today she was going to fight something or someone, even if she had to hunt down and fight someone. She stopped after around ten minutes, before she headed into the small one room Capsule House she had. She took an apple and headed back outside, where she began to munch on it. No doubt about it, today was going to be a good day. Tomoyo Tulip Waterfield

The woman had been training for a bit after the young hybrid’s departure. Despite the fact they had only spent a day in one another’s company, she found herself missing the little brat. She continued training, throwing a barrage of punches and kicks so fast they were almost invisible. No...there are those so strong they could easily block every strike with just one hand. Tulip’s lips curled in disgust, at her own weakness, before she finished her barrage with a single punch that destroyed the bamboo stalks in front of her. Lowering her trembling fist, the woman shook her head and began walking back towards her clearing. As she strolled down the path, she glanced towards the side as she smelled something in the air. Is that...a Capsule Corp house? Curiousity peaked, the hybrid changed directions and began walking towards the house. She was surprised, though, that a house had been placed so close to the pond just uphill from the stream she made her own home next to. Nearing the home from behind, she called out loudly.
“Oi! Anyone home! It’s your neighbor, stopping by to visit!”

Tomo messed up.
Tomo messed up reeaaaally bad.
Standing along a path down the bamboo forest, Tomo stared down at his smoking hand with tears in his eyes. He really messed up bad here. At first the activity had started off as relatively harmless. Tomoyo had gone back to the bamboo forest to practice that hand chop that Tulip had been trying to teach him a while ago... only every time he did produced the same result:
Tomoyo would encase his hand in ki, his open hand would slide into the bamboo shoots, halfway through the ki would detonate into a yellow blast that would incinerate about 5 meters of forest in a straight line... After the first failure, Tomo just wanted to try again so he took a few steps to the left and repeated the process.
The third failure, Tomoyo got angry and just wanted to try again out of stubbornness.
After the 10th failure, Tomoyo was overcome with panic. He had to get it right now, otherwise he wouldn't have any excuse to tell Tulip and explain!
After the 45th failure, Tomo was standing to the side of a pretty much empty 5 meter wide and 20 meter long vacant lot covered in ash. The hybrid child was shivering in grief at the immense failure he was while furiously sobbing as his tiny form heaved at the emotions pouring out of the child. "Aaaaaaaah!!!" Tomo screamed into his arms as he tried shaking off the immense despair he was feeling.
A few minutes later the child was walking back towards the path that led out of the bamboo forest feeling quite dejected under the weight of his great failures... that was until he caught sight of Tulip in front of some capsule house that DEFINITELY wasn't there when he came. Freezing in place, Tomo's eyes darted back and forth and all around searching for some place to hide before Tulip turned around to see him... but there was nowhere to run besides backwards and that would lead to the mess he made!
"Tuliiiiiii!!!" Opting instead to come clean, Tomoyo ran foreward with his arms spread foreward before embracing the Girl from the waist and sobbing into her clothing. "I-I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do it!" He cried, hoping that she forgave him for exterminating nearly a neighborhood's worth of forest.

Pocky turned her head when she heard Tulip speak. She was right! Today was going to be interesting. She turned fully to Tulip, and tossed the rest of the apple into her mouth and swallowed it whole. She brought her hands together and offered a bow to Tulip.
"Good Afternoon." She spoke. Her tone was gentle. "I didn't know there were others in this forest. I believed I was by myself." She motioned to the nearby campfire, as well as the remains of a fish. "I'll be staying here for a week or so before I continue on my journey west." She offered her a smile before her attention was immediately brought to Tomoyo when he cried out.
That hadn't been expected, and as such Pocky got into a fighting stance, her right hand by her side, with her left extended outward in an open palm. When she realized it was a child she blinked before lowering her hand.
"Oh.." She said softly. "He seems upset over something." She motioned to Tomoyo. "Your Brother?"

For a week, huh.
“That’s fine, this forest is large enough for both of us. Well, it would be if it wasn’t for…” The woman’s sentence was cut off as the young boy ran into the scene sobbing. She let him grab her waist and continue crying. She had noticed the telltale signs of his ki strikes in the other parts of the bamboo forest, but opted out of telling him to stop. If he was a proud boy, he would figure it out on his own, and proudly tell her on his own...
“Tuliiiiii! I-I-I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to do it!”
Or so the woman had thought. Sighing, she ruffled his hair and continued talking to the majin, in order to rectify the situation.
“He’s not my brother. Just a tiny friend. He’s apologizing for the acre’s worth of property damage he’s done in the last two days.” Tulip grinned, ruffling Tomoyo’s hair roughly. Extending a hand to the Majin, the young woman smirked and continued talking. “The name is Tulip, from planet Woatera. You seem strong, very strong. Mind fighting me and this twirp as part of your training? He’ll enjoy the challenge; it’ll give him a chance to forget about the bamboo destruction. Ain’t that right, Tomoyo?”

As Tulip ruffled Tomoyo's hair, the hybrid Saiyan boy began to calm down little by little. The trailing tears streaming down his face slowly began drying up before finally ceasing as the boy wiped his face on the front of his sleeveless gi. "I'm sorry Tuli, I broke the forest." The child admitted, feeling that it'd be best to come clean anyway. He didn't want to lie to Tuli~
Your Brother?
At the comment by the Majin though, Tomoyo turned to face the girl while still clinging onto Tulip by her side. Giving the weird bubble gum looking lady a smile Tomoyo rested his head against Tulip as his own response overlapped with hers. "She's my big sis!"
Bowing his head in respect, Tomoyo introduced himself to Pocky as it was only the proper thing to do in such a situation. "I'm Tomoyo. I'm 11 years old. Sorry for breaking your forests." After hearing the rest of Tulip's own response though, it felt like a pit dropped in the hybrid's chest. "training?" So she was punishing him after all! Stuttering while staring back at Tulip, Tomoyo's eyes were wide with regret. "What?! But I can't fight her Tuli! She'll beat me up!"

Pocky smiled, nodding her head to what Tulip had said at first, before Tomoyo's Interuption. "So you live here then?" she asked. "I will try to keep my noise down as to not Disturb you."
At the two answers to her question she blinked. One said they were brother and sister, one didn't. It was all confusing, though Pocky didn't pursue the question. At the mention of a fight she cleared her throat. "You wish for me to fight the two of you?" She asked. "I suppose I could, though I don't know about the child. It wouldn't feel right using some of my Techniques on him." She sighed shaking her head before looking to the hand Tulip offered.
Pocky smiled taking it softly. and shaking it. "Either way its good to meet you. I go by Pocky. I am a traveling martial artist, and I've been learning various fighting styles from the schools all over the world. Its my dream to eventually write a book about how to be a good martial artist as a Majin."
She giggled softly before taking a step away from Tulip. She got back into the previous fighting stance she had before, a very defensive stance. "I will gladly fight whomever of you will challenge me."

“Don’t worry about the noise, Majin. I’ve dealt with leagues worse than crushing bamboo and the sound of energy. Speaking of noise…” Tulip grabbed Tomoyo’s neck, before hefting him up level with her face. She grinned at the boy, before turning back towards the female Majin. “Feel free to use your techniques on this kiddo. He wants to destroy the forest like a big shot, he’s gonna receive his due like a true warrior.”
“Getting beat up is the best form of training. Go out there and show her the bamboo slicing strike.” Tulip’s grin took on an evil edge, as her emerald eyes gleamed in the light. She tossed the boy gently forward, before answering the pink Majin’s statements. “Well, Pocky, that is a noble goal. Becoming a master of martial arts and writing about it in a book. My goals are nowhere near as lofty.”
The young woman crossed her arms, gaze falling to the earth at her feet. Her grin remained, as she spoke softly but firmly enough for everyone to hear. “My goal is pretty simple, after all. Just become the strongest fighter in the galaxy. With enough push-ups, sit-ups, and juice, anything is possible, right?”
The woman’s emerald gaze met Pocky’s, as her grin got bigger. She was now letting all of her aura be exposed, no longer bothering to suppress it. If she has Ki Sensing, she should pick the stronger target...right? Tulip’s thoughts were simple, and her fighting style simpler. The talk of martial arts and developing the greatest style were beyond the woman; to her, the strongest style was simply what worked on the opponent standing in front of you. The woman let her grin slip, as she waited to see how Tomoyo handled the situation he had literally just been thrown into.

Was Tulip actually going to let Tomoyo of-
Feel free to use your techniques on this kiddo.
Or completely betray the hybrid child's hopes in one fell swoop. Barely even given a second to react, Tomo felt himself being lifted up by the scruff of his neck before being lightly tossed in the direction of the Majin girl. "She's mad." Tomo came to realize, before landing on the ground again some 5 feet away from Pocky. What was Tomo even supposed to do? Punch her? Kick her? Beg for mercy?
Just as the third option Tomoyo came up with started looking especially appealing, he heard the advise that Tulip had decided to toss his way while the Majin girl moved into a fighting stance of her own. "Bamboo Slicing Stike?" He echoed before staring back at Tulip like she was crazy. "But I can't do that, Tuli!"
...Tomo's head quickly snapped back into position after getting a look at Tulip's expression. Nope, she was not happy... swallowing the dregs of spit in his throat while trying to gasp for air, Tomoyo bent his legs and rose his arms into an inexperienced fighting stance before reluctantly inching foreward. "Please don't hit me too hard~" The child whimpered before leaping foreward while keeping his eyes completely shut. Attempting to slice his hand into the girls side, Tomo's ki would explode out of the reinforced appendage before erupting in a yellow blast of energy flurries that would extend several meters behind her.
Tomo hoped that he didn't hurt her.

Pocky nodded at the mention of the noise before looking to Tomoyo. Tulip had said to use him for training to some extent, and he had destroyed some of the beautiful forest. Perhaps the child deserved one of her Palm Strikes Techniques. She prepared herself mentally for what may come.
At Tomoyo's request to not be two hard Pocky's expression became serious. "No promises." She said. She watched him get into his fighting stance. Clearly he was a novice, no doubt Pocky would feel bad after this, but he had to be punished for what he did to the forest. He came at her quickly, shooting off Ki-blasts that she dodged here and there, even going so far as to knock one up into the air. As Tomoyo's strike came in close she completely stopped his momentum with an open palm block stopping him in the tracks. The force from the block would send a gust of wind through the forest before she ducked down.
A blue aura swirled around her palm before she thrust it upwards, aiming to slam her palm directly into his Torso. Should the attack hit it would leave no external damage, but the internal pain it would cause would be ever prevalent.
After that she jumped to the side, away from Tomoyo, where she'd land and resume her fighting Pose.

The woman acknowledged the pink gumball’s nod with one of her own. Then she grinned at Tomoyo and knelt to his height. After hearing his complaint, she thought of a reply. Ensuring she had the tiny boy’s attention, Tulip’s eyes gleamed in amusement. Speaking slowly, but firmly, she said. “Well then…figure...it...out”
The kid’s attention snapped back to the fight on hand, much to Tulip’s satisfaction. Time to find out if trial by fire was what this kiddo needed for figuring out the secret behind the technique. As he took an open fighting stance, the woman’s eyes narrowed in slight disappointment. Well, this isn’t going to last long. Then the boy began inching forward slowly, furthering Tulip’s growing disappointment. This wasn’t going to end well for Tomoyo. When he closed his eyes before leaping forward, eyes shut. Tulip punched herself mentally, realizing just how dumb it had been to throw this kid at this poor gumball before even sparring with him herself. When his hand erupted into yellow light as it struck the majin’s side, Tulip braced herself for his first successful use of the slicing technique...until it turned into a chain of ki blasts. The majin dodged every ki blast easily at point-blank distance, even knocking one up into the sky. It flew off into the distance before knocking down a few more unfortunate bamboo specimens. She stopped his forward motion with one palm. Tulip could feel the wind from the strike and knew Tomoyo would be in tears after this.
The Majin suddenly slid her back foot further back and lowered her entire body. One hand came to one side, blue aura swirling around to encompass her palm. It’s just like my… Tulip’s thought was lost, as the female Majin slammed the palm into Tomoyo where the woman couldn’t see; had the young boy blocked or dodged the attack?! Tulip didn’t utter a single word as the Majin jumped backwards and brought her palms back up into the original defensive position she had taken. Tulip bit her lip, drawing blood, as she waited for Tomoyo’s reaction to the sudden attack. Don’t pass out, please, kid!

At first, Tomoyo was scared out of his mind that he would somehow turn the Majin girl to ash or something like he did the bamboos before them. He winced behind his lidded eyes as the hybrid felt his energy once more being unleashed haphazardly into bursts of ki blasts... only for them to not hit anything? Jolting to a stop, All of Tomoyo's foreward momentum was stopped in a blast of wind as he felt his energy disperse from in front of him.
Peeking his eyes open, shock was an understatement to describe the feeling that Tomo was having seeing that the girl had somehow blocked all of his moves. Tears forced themselves to the sides of the child's eyes as the gale-force winds nearly knocked him off his feet. Now his eyes wide open, the half-Saiyan was paralyzed in fear as Pocky began charging some sort of blue energy in her palm before rushing foreward to slam it into Tomo's torso! He couldn't let that hit him! "It'll hurt!!!"
...and then, nothing? At first it may have looked as if for a moment Pocky's palm impaled Tomo's small body on her arm by passing right into his form and out his back... until Tomoyo's body entirely disappeared as if it was simply a trick of the light.
"I'm sorry for hitting you." The distraught half-breed's cries were finally heard again as he was now standing to the back of Pocky without a scratch on him. Hugging onto her leg, Tomo tried his best to reason with the alien person without any more violence because that had been really scary. "Please don't hit me again!"

When Tomoyo disappeared Pocky hadn't been expecting it, her eyes going wide when he did so. That was a technique she had seen before, but never had it used against her. Then again it was rare she actually got into a fight. She looked around quickly, her senses going wild trying to find him, only for him to suddenly appear and be hugging her leg. She looked down and blinked
"You didn't actually hit me." She said. " I blocked it before you could." Then he seemed to beg her to stop. She frowned. " I didn't even hit you either, so stop being a cry baby." She'd lower a hand to flick him on the head, before looking towards Tulip.
"He is... Inexperienced, and a bit of a coward. Then again fighting isn't for everyone." She bowed to Tulip before smiling softly. " However I feel as though your fighting spirit is greater than the child's..." She bowed her head. "Why don't you fight me instead?"
She got back into her defensive stance. "I believe you will be far more of a challenge."

As Tomoyo executed a nigh-perfect Afterimage, the woman whistled in respect. The kid had a habit of pulling out incredible techniques at the strangest moments. He began begging the Majin to spare him, which was incredibly humiliating to spectate on. The woman sighed and began sliding off her red makeshift jacket, leaving only her pants and white tank top on. Setting the jacket to one side, the woman turned towards the Majin as she flicked the little boy on the forehead.
“He is inexperienced, and a bit of a coward. Then again, fighting isn’t for everyone.” The Majin bowed towards the hybrid, who was rolling her shoulders and stretching. A small smile crossed the pink woman’s face, as she rose from the bow. “However, I feel as though your fighting spirit is greater than the child’s…why don’t you fight me instead?”
The Majin took the same stance from before, a powerful stance designed to be impervious from all sides. Coupled with a Majin’s natural resiliency, damaging her would be extremely to nigh impossible. But, the young hybrid still had that. Sighing audibly, the hybrid began walking forward. Her fist began glowing a light gray as the woman slowly closed the distance. “Not going to lie, last time I fought a Majin, not a single one of my attacks even phased that guy. The only reason I won was simply because I had a lucky break and my opponent jumped to a wrong conclusion. So, my apologies in advance if this hurts.”

Tomo was pleading with the orange girl, begging even! The last thing the child had expected after doing something like that was to be flicked in the forehead. Completely caught off guard, Tomoyo was sent flying backwards before he collided headfirst with a patch of bamboo shoots, snapping them backwards on impact before hitting the ground. "Uuuueeeegh~" The hybrid child whimpered in pain as he slowly sat up. His vision was blurry at first, but as it focused Tomo began making out what looked to be Tulip moving towards the majin girl now.
When he saw the face of Tulip as he got up though, as she looked at him... Tomo couldn't not see the similarity. It was a look just like his mother's. Tulip... she didn't even care that he was hurt. "All of it... was a lie?" Tomo whispered to himself, devastated that something like this was happening. "Sh-she's just like mom... She's just like her..." Eyes widening in devastation, the hybrid child felt almost betrayed by the sudden change in the attitude of what he thought would be like his new older sister. She was just like her... "It's not fair."
"It's not fair."
"ITS NOT FAAAAAAIR!!!!" The child screamed outloud, all reason lost as the emotion overcame him. Retreating into himself like using his emotion as a protective wall, Tomoyo's mind blanked. He didn't realize his actions, he couldn't.
...and yet his body still moved. Holding his hand out to the side, Tomoyo encased the hand with Ki before he thrust it out to the side and cleanly cut through the bamboo shoot that had pinned his arm. Standing up with a blank look in his eyes and his face contorted in rage, Tomoyo began seething in his anger as he curled his Ki-charged hand into a fist at his side. Pouring more and more power into it, the attack only grew in potency as the power flowed into the hybrid child's hand.
