The bureaucracy and boringness of Vegeta had gotten Mayze to the point where he felt the need to get away. He craved a good battle, or at least a place to train in seclusion. He had pondered on where to go for awhile before settling on Planet Namek. It was basically in saiyan territory, and was sparsely populated making it an ideal training location. However, he also strangely felt drawn to the planet, and he wasn’t really sure why.
As he entered his spacecraft, and slowly left Vegeta’s atmosphere, he couldn’t help but reflect on the last time he’d been to Namek. Queen Zucceta had sent him, along with an android bounty hunter named Pin, to find any information on magical orbs known as Dragon balls, while also trying to build relations with the local populace. However, another group working under the Saiyan Empire known as the Devil Knight’s had begun an invasion of the planet’s capital shortly before Mayze and Pin arrived. The saiyan general had to decide whether to support the original rulers, or help install Xylo on the throne. Figuring the original overlords of the planet would be easier to control, the saiyan general eliminated the Devil’s Knights. It had been a long and hard fought battle, but eventually the faction was crushed
With a sigh Mayze gazed out the window and watched the stars rushed by.
